A
Well,
good
morning,
everyone
today
is
the
ninth
day
of
May.
The
time
is
nine
o'clock.
The
board
is
in
session
to
conduct
its
weekly
open
business
meeting
man
clerk.
Are
there
any
changes
to
the
agenda.
A
Any
discussion
hire
none
will
all.
If
you
ever
say
I
I
most
carries
okay.
C
Foreign
crew
leader
for
Ada,
County,
weed
past
and
Mosquito
Abatement
celebrates
20
years
of
service
to
Ada
County.
This
may
before
his
current
role
with
acmad
Charlie,
worked
with
or
worked
for
Hewlett-Packard
for
20
years
after
graduating,
from
Meridian
High
School
Charlie
was
hired
by
HP
to
build
circuit
board
for
LaserJet
printers
in
2003
Charlie
was
hired
by
Southwest
Ada
County
Mosquito
Abatement
as
a
larva
side
technician
to
treat
mosquito
larvae
and
standing
bodies
of
water.
In
the
next
year,
swacma
became
part
of
Ada
County,
weed,
Pest
and
Mosquito
Abatement.
C
Following
the
completion
of
his
seasonal
position,
Charlie
accepted
another
position
when
he
was
invited
to
come
back
and
interview
for
a
full-time
role
with
acwpm
Charlie,
initially
believed
that
he
was
being
asked
to
interview
for
a
position
in
the
larva
side
division
again
but
came
to
find
out.
He
was
interviewing
for
the
adult
aside
team
supervisor
position.
C
This
position,
which
coordinates
the
nighttime
treatment
of
flying
adult
mosquitoes,
is
the
same
role.
Charlie
is
in
today
the
first
discovery
of
West
Nile
Virus,
the
leading
mosquito-borne
illness
in
the
United
States
occurred
in
Idaho
in
2006,
when
there
were
nearly
1
000
human
cases
reported
Statewide.
When
asked
about
working
in
Mosquito
Abatement.
During
this
tumultuous,
Time
Charlie
said
we
had
never
heard
of
it.
It
was
busy.
C
It
was
a
great
challenge
to
fill
the
roles
as
they
work
late
at
night
and
must
acquire
special
licenses.
They
have
worked
together
for
long
enough
to
handle
challenging
situations
with
ease
Charlie's.
Multi-Faceted
skills
are
apparent
throughout
the
acwpm
office,
as
he
can
always
be
seen.
Fixing
machinery
for
any
of
the
Departments
even
help
to
make
the
large
Metallic
Model
of
a
mosquito
that
was
sold
for
auction
at
an
American,
Mosquito
Control
Association
event.
C
A
For
anyone
from
we
passed
like
to
speak
Columbia
for
Charlie
I.
D
I
would
Mr
chairman,
thank
you,
I'm
Adam
from
wheat
past
mosquito
I
would
just
like
to
say
that,
on
the
very
first
day
that
I
interviewed
for
weed
pest
mosquito,
the
first
person
I
met
was
Brian.
Wilbur
Who
was
the
previous
director.
The
second
person
I
met
was
Charlie
and
Charlie
was
so
friendly
and
so
helpful,
even
in
those
first
few
moments
that
it
actually
influenced
my
decision
to
come
work
for
Ada
County
back
in
2011.,
and
what
I
would
say
that
that
last
statement
that
commissioner
Davidson
read
was
very
accurate.
D
C
Well,
Mr
chair,
I
grew
up
in
a
a
city
that
probably
didn't
have
a
Mosquito
Abatement
District,
because
so
many
childhood
memories
of
just
brutally
being
attacked
by
mosquitoes
in
the
summer.
It's
like
you,
you'd,
run
along
a
canal
and
you'd
feel
them
like
snowflakes
coming
down.
I
mean
it
was.
It
was
bad
and
so
I,
don't
think
people
probably
understand
the
quality
of
life
in
Ada
County
that
Mosquito
Abatement
can
bring
to
just
you
know,
having
a
great
summer
and
not
being
worried
about
being
stung
to
death
and
again
I.
A
Yes,
all
right!
Well,
if
you
like
step
over
here,
we'll
give
you
the
word,
get
a
little
photo.
A
A
F
F
G
D
H
Hear
you're
on
a
short
11.
Congratulations.
A
B
Okay
to
designate
the
month
of
May
2023
as
Building
Safety
month,
whereas
Ada
County
is
committed
to
recognizing
that
our
growth
and
strength
depends
on
the
safety
and
economic
value
of
homes,
buildings
and
infrastructure
that
serve
our
citizens,
both
in
everyday
life
and
in
the
times
of
natural
disaster.
And
whereas
our
confidence
in
the
structural
Integrity
of
these
buildings
that
make
up
our
community
is
achieved
through
the
devotion
of
building
safety
and
Fire.
B
Protection
officials,
Architects
Engineers
buildings,
trades
people,
design,
professionals,
laborers
and
others
in
the
construction
in
the
construction
industry
who
work
year-round
to
ensure
the
safety
of
construction
of
buildings
and
whereas
our
County
benefits
economically
and
Technology.
Technologically
from
well-developed
voluntary
consensus,
codes
and
standards
developed
with
the
help
of
surrounding
jurisdictions
and
local
building
community
and
whereas
Building
Safety
month
is
sponsored
by
the
Ada
County
development
services
and
the
International
Code
Council.
B
To
remind
the
public
about
the
critical
role
of
our
communities,
local
code
officials
and
building
professionals
who
insure
us
of
safety,
efficient
buildings
and
whereas
Building
Safety
month.
2023,
encourages
all
Americans
to
raise
awareness
of
the
importance
of
building
safe
and
resilient
construction.
Fire
prevention.
Disaster
mitigation
and
new
technologies
in
the
construction
industry
and
whereas
Building
Safety
month
2023,
encourages
appropriate
steps.
A
J
With
you,
so
just
encourage
everyone
to
think
of
any
actions
that
we
might
be
able
to
take
as
individuals
to
keep
the
spaces
that
we
occupy
safe.
On
thought.
That
comes
to
mind
is
we
probably
all
can
can
go
home
and
look
at
our
ceilings
tonight
and
see
if
there's
any
of
those
pesky
smoke,
detectors
that
we've
uninstalled
in
the
middle
of
the
night
and
reinstalled
or
have
their
batteries
replaced,
but
just
want
to
thank
our
Ada
County
building
professionals
or
any
kind
of
building
official.
J
Our
plans,
examiners,
our
building
inspectors
and
the
many
people
in
operations
and
resources
that
focus.
B
Well,
okay,
Mr
chairman,
just
just
as
a
and
a
amplification
of
what
he
just
said.
We
saw
that
in
in
Turkey
when,
when
the
earthquake
happened,
where
they
didn't
use,
some
of
those
things
that
were
should
have
been
used,
and
we
we
don't
have
that
here.
So
we
appreciate
it
all
the
work.
That's
done
to
help
us
protect
from
those
kinds
of
situations
that
might
occur.
B
A
All
right,
well,
I,
I
guess
we
can.
We
can
all
accept
a
motion
to
approve
this
Proclamation
and
so
move.
Do
we.
A
I
will
second
that
okay,
you've
heard
the
motion
all
in
favor
say
all
right
all
right
now,
I
guess
we
can
give
you
come
over
and
give
you
the
proclamation,
take
a
photo
well.
A
K
A
Okay,
we
have
another
Proclamation
I
will
read
that
one
Burton
County
Commissioners
Edge
County
State
divider
proclamation
to
designate
the
week
of
May
8th
through
the
12th.
That's
this
week,
2023
as
jury,
Appreciation
Week,
whereas
a
right
to
a
trial
by
jury
is
one
of
the
core
values
of
American
citizenship
and
whereas
the
obligation
and
privilege
to
serve
as
a
juror
and
fundamental
are
fundamental
to
our
democracy.
A
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
the
Ada
County
Board
of
Commissioners,
in
collaboration
with
the
Fourth
Judicial
District
Court,
are
committed
to
the
following
goals:
applauding
jurors,
who
fulfill
their
civic
duty,
ensuring
that
the
responsibility
of
jury
services
shared
fairly
by
supporting
employees
who
are
called
upon
to
serve
as
jurors,
ensuring
that
all
jurors
are
are
treated
with
respect
and
providing
jurors
with
tools
that
will
assist
their
decision
making
and
do
hereby
proclaim.
The
week
of
May
18th
through
the
12th
2023
be
designated
as
jury.
Appreciation
Week.
A
G
Morning
we
wanted
administrator
Randy
Rutland
our
jury,
commissioner,
we're
very
excited
for
this
week.
This
is
the
second
time
that
we
started
doing
it.
G
Thanks
to
the
great
work
that
the
jury
commission
performs
on
a
daily
basis,
their
office
is
made
up
of
four
different
staff
members
and
they
assist
thousands
and
thousands
of
individuals
who
come
in
on
a
monthly
basis
to
our
courts
to
to
comply
with
our
civic
duty
of
sitting
and
and
judging
in
those
cases,
it
is
certainly
Something.
That
We're,
extremely
thankful
for
our
courts
could
not
perform
the
work
that
they
do
could
not
reach
Justice
if
it
wasn't
for
the
hope
of
our
citizens.
G
We're
also
very
appreciative
of
the
work
that
the
Community
does
by
allowing
their
employees
to
come
and
reimburse
them
for
their
time
as
well.
It
really
helps
a
lot
we
have
seen
in
the
last
few
months.
How
important
has
been
the
work
of
the
juries
perform,
and
so
we're
very
appreciative
of
your
of
your
time
and
your
Proclamation.
A
L
C
So
and
so
I
appreciate
this
resolution,
because
I
think
that
there's
Proclamation
it's
been
probably
the
most
challenging
time
for
the
jury
system
over
the
last
couple
years
and
in
a
lifetime,
maybe
since
9
11,
I,
don't
know,
but
with
the
pandemic
and
endlessly
stalling
jury
trials
in
your
office
having
to
work
your
way
through
that,
how
is
it,
how
has
it
been
for
you
to
get
through
all
those.
M
You
know
it
was
certainly
a
challenge,
but
we
took
that
time
during
the
pandemic
to
really
kind
of
refocus
on
the
jurors
themselves
and
give
them
a
nice
bright
spot
to
come,
we're
just
so
fortunate
to
to
be
able
to
provide
things
for
our
jurors
at
other
counties
and
other
states
across
the
country.
They
just
don't
do
it
a
matter
of
fact.
My
sister-in-law
had
jury
service
in
the
Seattle
area,
a
while
back.
She
said
she
sat
in
a
room
the
entire
day.
M
They
weren't
even
offered
a
cup
of
water
where
we
offer
archers
all
kinds
of
drinks
and
snacks
lunches
and
we're
making
a
short
day
for
us.
So
it's
not
like
they're
sitting
there,
the
entire
day
wasting
their
whole
day
away.
We
get
them
in
and
out
so
they
go
to
jury
selection.
If
they're
not
selected,
they're,
usually
out
of
the
out
of
the
courthouse
within
a
few
hours
and
they're
very
appreciative
of
that
they
they
recommend
them.
M
N
M
On
to
the
website
and
fill
out
the
comment
section
and
give
us
that
feedback
about
how
just
how
appreciative
they
were
that
you
know
we
honor
their
time.
We
take
that
seriously.
We
want
to
and
we
strive
to
make
their
experience
the
best
that
it
can
be
when
it
comes
to
jury
service.
So.
C
B
J
A
A
F
C
A
We've
officially
designated
this
week,
jury
Appreciation,
Week,
all
right
now,
we'll
open
the
public
hearing
and
resolution
number
2866
resolution
providing
for
the
sale
of
personal
property
owned
by
the
county.
Is
there
any
discussion,
I.
F
Asked
Mr
chair
Commissioners:
this
is
a
cell
of
items
that
were
leftover
items
from
our
reuse
event.
Our
reuse
event
is
where
we
try
to
reallocate
unused
office
supplies
or
Latin
used
office
supplies
within
the
county
from
other
offices
to
other
offices.
So
at
one
office
isn't
using
it,
we
can
find
a
home
for
it
in
another
office,
so
we
don't
always
get
apply
the
home
for
a
mall.
So
these
are
the
leftover
items
that
were
sent
to
auction.
C
Mr
Cheryl
moved
to
approve
resolution
number
2866
as
listed
on
the
agenda
I.
A
A
F
A
letter
dated
May
9th
2023
to
the
board
of
Ada
County
Commissioners
from
Ada
County
procurement
regarding
bid
23046
dear
members
of
the
board
Ada
County
procurement
received
three
responses
for
bid
23046
the
following
are
the
names
of
the
bidders
and
the
bid
amounts
submitted.
The
first
bidder
is
Radix
construction.
They
have
a
bid
amount
of
92
576
dollars.
F
Bidder
number
two
is
Triple
G
Construction
Incorporated
and
they
have
a
total
bid
amount
of
sixty
one
thousand
nine
hundred
fifty
six
dollars
and
seventy
cents,
and
then
our
last
bidder
is
Gafford,
Construction
Incorporated
and
they
have
a
total
bid
amount
of
fifty
one
thousand
four
hundred
and
seventy
five
dollars.
F
C
F
A
A
Up,
we
have
licenses
catering
permits
and
new
licenses
and
license
renewals.
A
Okay,
you've
heard
the
motion.
A
L
Chairman
Commissioners
good
morning,
a
couple
of
big
updates:
one
we
have
an
election
on
Tuesday.
What
we're
anticipating
is
roughly
38
000
ballots
should
be
coming
in
for
this
particular
election.
As
of
now,
we've
received
3358,
pretty
even
split
between
early
voting
and
absentee
absentee
is
only
at
40
rate
of
rate
of
return
that
will
go
up.
We
just
mailed
out
several
several
hundred
more
and
they
just
haven't
returned
yet
again.
That'll
hit
about
80
percent
of
return
rates
of
the
early
voting.
Pretty
interesting
I
have
a
recommendation
of
where
to
go.
L
L
98.4
percent
of
all
check-ins
have
been
used
with
the
driver's
license.
So
again,
voting
is
going.
Great
teams
are
cranking
along,
however,
they're
preparing
for
the
logic
and
accuracy
the
public
facing
side
of
that
will
be
this
Thursday
at
2PM,
dress,
rehearsals
today
and
then
outside
of
Elections,
need
deep
in
budgets
a
lot
of
conversations
going
on
we're
anticipating
for
June
12th
to
kick
off
a
very
fluid
process,
so
outside
of
those
things,
teams
are
clicking
along
and
building
trust
in
government.
L
Particular
precincts
are
within
there.
I
did
print
off
my
particular
voter
record.
Just
to
see
what
the
the
ballots
would
look
like.
My
particular
Precinct
to
Ada
free
County,
Library
trustee
seats
are
open,
so
pretty
straightforward
ballots
for
this
one,
depending
on
the
precinct,
could
look
a
little
different.
G
A
You
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Next
up,
we
have
the
claims.
Journal
I'll
accept
a
motion
on
the
claims.
Journal.
C
B
A
Okay,
you've
heard
the
motion:
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
all
right.
B
O
O
A
Next
step
on
your
feet:
next
up
we
have
the
Personnel
actions,
I'll
attempt
some
motion
on
the
personal
actions.
B
A
C
A
O
Report
morning,
Commissioners
yeah
we're
preparing
to
lock
our
values.
So
later
this
week,
we'll
be
locking
in
over
200
000
values
and
starting
next
week,
we'll
be
able
to
start
getting
some
real
numbers
out.
As
far
as
for
the
taxing
authorities
and
stuff
as
far
as
kind
of
what
what
the
values
are
doing
block.
O
Yeah,
we
have
a
giant
key
that
we
only
one
person
has
access
to,
but
yeah
we,
basically
just
they
stay
open
all
year.
Long
and
the
appraisers
can
make
changes
and
sure
we
can't
let
them
keep
making.
O
Keep
changing
their
minds,
so
we
lock
them
this
Friday
and
then
Monday
we'll
be
able
to
run
the
numbers
and
really
start
kind
of
seeing
where
values
are
going.
So
is
it
when
you,
when
you
mail
out
so
they'll,
be
over
Memorial
Day
weekend
or
at
the
end
of
the
month,
we'll
be
sending
those
out
and
after
that,
our
life
changes
because
we'll
be
getting
thousands
of
calls
so
yeah.
Yes,
we
will.
O
P
Morning,
Mr,
chairman
Commissioners,
so
this
week
the
treasurer's
office
is
preparing
tax
notices,
so
this
is
for
the
second
half
2022.,
so
we'll
be
sending
those
out
next
week
and
those
will
be
due
on
June
20th
and
then
otherwise.
We'll
I'll
hand
it
over
to
Tim
for
the
month.
N
Yeah,
so
this
is
our
portfolio
as
it
looked
as
a
April
30th
end
of
April,
and
we
didn't
have
any
major
changes.
We
didn't
have
any
new
purchases
or
maturities.
In
fact,
if
you
went
to
our
maturities
page,
which
is
the
bar
graph,
so
it's
about
three
or
four
pages
in
well.
First,
the
first
one
there
is
a
potential
calls
and
what
that
is.
Is
these
are
agency
bonds
that
we
own
that
have
a
call
feature
to
them.
N
I
think
we
have
four
or
five
of
them
and
at
the
time
you
purchase
them,
you
can
get
a
little
more
yield
on
them
if
they
have
a
call
feature,
but
with
the
rates
going
up
and
unlikely
to
go
down
to
the
point
where
these
would
get
called,
it's
unlikely
we'll
see
any
calls
and
all
of
the
callable
bonds
that
we
own
are
have
a
call
feature
and
calendar
year.
23.
I,
don't
think
we'll
see
those
called
they'll
just
continue
on
the
next
page
is
our
maturities
total
for
each
of
the
five
years
going
out.
N
We
we
like
to
run
this
out
for
five
years
and
just
kind
of
look
at
what
sort
of
money
is
going
to
be
coming
back
to
us
and
then
calendar
year
23
we
have
8
million.
The
next
amount
that's
coming
in
is
until
September,
I
think
it's
3
million
and
the
the
following
pages
show
the
breakdown.
If
you
ever
want
to
see
what
the
bonds
look
like
that
and
when
they
mature
and
then
after
the
one
of
September,
we
have
a
little
bit
coming
back
to
us
in
November
and
December
other
than
that.
N
We
just
have
our
income
coming
in
and
that's
totaling.
It
seems
to
be
averaging
right
around
a
million
dollars
a
month.
So
as
that
money
comes
in
it
sits
in
a
money
market
and
and
then
our
treasure,
along
with
our
not
rbk
but
Clearwater
advisors,
look
at
potential
options
for
purchase.
We
did
make
one
purchase,
I
guess,
but
the
settlement
date
isn't
until
this
month,
so
you'll
see
that
in
the
on
the
next
month's
report.
But.
N
You
know
things
are
going
well,
you
probably
know
the
FED
raised
rates.
25
base
points,
they'll
be
meeting
again
mid
June
tomorrow
morning.
I
think
6,
30
mountain
time
is
the
CPI
report.
So
they're
going
to
be
looking
at
that.
Obviously,
so
we
don't
know
what
way
rates
will
go.
They'll,
probably
just
be
data
driven
as
they
always
have
been,
but
they
seem
to
have
a
bias
toward
tackling
inflation,
even
though
these
higher
rates
are
causing
some
other
problems
and
slowing
down
the
economy.
N
A
A
A
Thank
you
all
right.
Next
up
we
have
with
us
our
distinguished
coroner
Mr
Rich,
River,
Karen
Ricky.
I
It's
coming
say
what
appreciate
you
being
here.
Oh
yeah
appreciate
the
appreciate
that,
yes,
first
of
all,
if
you
gentleman
got
this
a
couple
several
days
ago,
important
notice
about
these
numbers
I
found
a
couple
of
glitches.
One
of
them
is
user
error
and
I
freely
admit
that,
but
we've
also
have
other
glitches
and
when
we
do
a
data
search
depending
on
who
runs
it
from
what
desks
they're
sitting
at
we
get
different
answers.
I
I've
been
told
by
the
company
that
that's
user
error,
which
I'm
I
kind
of
take
that
with
a
grain
of
salt,
so
I
just
want
you
to
know
that
the
numbers
that
I
present
to
you
are
just
working
numbers
they're,
not
please,
don't
consider
Them,
official
and
I'm
actually
considering
suspending
this
report
until
I
get
that
ironed
out
with
the
with
the
software
people.
I
But
just
let
you
know
this
is
just
a
snapshot
of
our
our
activity.
I
added
The
Cremation
authorizations
down
at
the
bottom
from
previous
reports
again
just
to
show
the
kind
of
activity
you
know
when
we
get
one
of
those
requests
to
to
authorize
that
that
takes
up
a
lot
of
Staff
time.
So
that's
why
I
put
it
in
there
to
show
you
guys
that
you
know
we're
not
just
sitting
there.
You
know
we're
not
just
body
grabbing
so
to
speak.
I
Our
evidence,
disposal
project
has
gone
wonderfully
well
right.
The
first
the
last
month
they
took
out
six
28
gallon
containers
of
material.
I
So
that's
you
know
has
now
been
disposed
of.
It's
no
longer
in
our
building,
and
then
systems
have
been
put
in
place
to
make
sure
that
the
the
disposal
of
the
of
those
bio
materials
are
done
in
a
more
timely
manner.
I
I
I
met
with
the
operations
about
the
FF
e
and
I
will
continue
to
do
so
that
whole
process
and
that
it's
foreign
to
me
so
I
need
a
lot
of
help
with
that,
but
that's
coming
along
well,
I
think
I
reported
last
year
last
month,
not
last
year
that
I
found
that
the
first
document
we
got
regarding
the
furniture
realizing
there's
there's
anyway,
there
were
a
couple
of
picnic
tables
for
10
670,
50
bucks,
each
I
put
a
kaibox
to
that
real
fast,
we're
probably
going
to
go
with
a
different
vendor.
I
We
met
with
them
just
the
other
day
and
I
got
to
tell
you
I,
and
my
staff
are
much
more
impressed
with
this
outfit
than
the
world
with
the
other
one.
So
I
got
to
get
with
operations.
To
make
that
happen,
we
have
been
approved
to
continue
our
accreditation
through
a
National
Association
of
medical
examiners
and
now
we're
starting
to
work
on
the
International
Association
of
Cornell
medical
examiners
renewal.
I
We
started
that
process
this
month,
we're
looking
into
a
job
shadow
program
to
formalize
what
we
have
it's
kind
of
kind
of
hit
and
miss
right
at
the
moment.
So
I'm
trying
to
trying
to
get
that
formalized.
I
So
we
actually
have
something
in
place
that
if
people
want
to
do
that,
we
have
you
know,
guidelines
and
and
as
opposed
to
just
make
it
yeah
just
show
up
and
take
a
tour
looking
into
some
FEMA
training,
hopefully
for
all
the
staff
and
then
the
we
were
recently
advised
that
the
Cascade
Life,
Alliance,
hope
award
was
awarded
to
this
office
and
we're
really
happy
about
that.
I
They're,
the
Oregon
procurement
company
and
through
the
efforts
of
helping
them
get
to
the
what
they
need
faster,
we're
actually
helping
to
save
more
lives
and
then
I'm
also
working
on
a
a
another
module
in
our
software
program.
That
will
automatically
notify
these
guys
on
on
deaths
that
fit
their
criteria
so
that
they
get
the
notification
a
lot
quicker
and
hopefully
we
can
increase
their
ability
to
help
save
lives
and
and
in
the
future,
and
we
that
award
will
be
presented
to
us
on
the
17th.
A
I
A
I
No,
no
just
let
us
know
for
something
yeah
I
appreciate
that
I
really
do
I'm
finding
like
the
ffanes
operations,
has
been
very,
very
helpful
on
that
just
settling
my
mind
because,
like
I
said
I
just
you
know
where
I
come
from
when
you
buy
a
building,
the
furniture
comes
with
it
here
in
Idaho,
they
have
a
separate
thing
and
they
go
well.
I
A
Right
all
right,
well
great,
we'll
appreciate
appreciate
your
coming
over
here
and
giving
us
a
report,
so
we
kind
of
get
an
idea.
What's
going
on
the.
B
I
I
Yeah,
it's
not
quite
that
much
it's
a
it's
a
designer
picnic
table
and
the
the
mall
on
Eagle.
Apparently
there's
a
couple
there.
So
if
you
want
to
go
see
one
just
walk
around
the.
C
I
I
I
Anyway,
so
we're
not
going
with
that
vendor
anyway,
so
things
are,
things
are
moving
along
all
right,
we're
good
enough!
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
A
You've
heard
the
motion
all
in
favor,
say:
aye
aye
aye
carries
thank
you
all
right
now.
We
have
Expo
Idaho.
We
have
two
interim
events
and
we
have
another,
a
number
of
commercial
exhibitors
for
the
fair.
These
questions
or
discussions.
B
A
E
So
Mr
chairman
Commissioners,
the
roof
on
the
Elder
Street
Building
is
beyond
its
20-year
life
it's
still
holding,
but
it
is
the
point
where
it's
chalking
and
you
can't
patch
it
when
it
gets
to
that
point.
So
you
know
the
desire
would
be
to
go
ahead
and
put
a
new
roof
on
it.
Now,
since
we're
doing
a
big
tenant
Improvement
up
there,
it
just
makes
sense
to
protect
that
investment
get
the
building
water
tight,
protected
and
working
with
the
auditor
Kathleen.
We
have
identified
some
money
that
we
can
use
for
this
Kathleen.
H
As
you'll
remember,
we
had
budgeted
6.5
million
dollars
last
year
during
the
budget
process
for
the
purchase
of
that
facility,
and
the
agreement
was
that
the
general
fund
would
only
fund
up
to
the
amount
of
that
amount,
less
the
amount
of
the
sale
of
Beechwood.
So
now
that
Beechwood
is
getting
close
to
being
sold
and
a
check
cut,
we
can
take
that
funding
instead
of
giving
it
back
to
the
general
fund
use
that
funding
to
to
fund
the
roof.
H
A
E
E
A
Right
so
so,
then
you
get
you
get
going
on
on
a
bid
right,
yep
all
right,
so
we.
A
Thank
you,
okay.
Thank
you
all
right,
we'll
do
that.
Okay,
now
we
have
a
number
of
agreements,
I
reviewed
these
agreements,
and
is
there
a
motion
to
approve
these
agreements.
K
A
A
Well,
good
morning,
here
we
are
the
ninth
day
of
May
and
the
time
is
10
o'clock
and
the
Board
of
Commissioners
sitting
as
the
board
of
Emergency
Medical
Services
district
is
in
session
to
conduct
its
weekly
open
business
meeting.
A
All
three
Commissioners
are
present.
We
also
have
with
us
so
Sean
Rayne
rain,
and
we
have
some
lawyer
visitors,
okay,
now
clerk
do
we
have
any
changes
to
the
agenda.
A
B
A
Right
you've
heard
the
motion
all
in
favor,
say:
aye
aye
all
right
motion
carries.
We
have
Personnel
actions
three-step
increases.
Do
we
have
a
motion.
A
K
B
K
Kind
of
a
short
update
today
cover
numbers
are
staying
the
same.
Nothing
really
seems
to
be
changing
on
that
front.
For
the
GMT
stuff.
We
are
starting
to
get
some
informal
questions
back
from
the
centers
for
Medicare
and
Medicaid
services,
they're
just
trying
to
wrap
their
minds
around
how
many
governments
EMS
transport
providers,
are
there
in
the
state
to
see
how
many
people
would
be
participating
in
the
program.
So
that's
good
to
hear
that
they're
they're
on
it
and
things
are
moving
outside
of
that.
K
We
are
meeting
today
with
an
HR
consultant.
That
is
also
an
EMT
he's
going
to
be
coming
in
next
month
and
providing
us
some
specialized
training
that
pertains
specific
to
the
EMS
industry
and
how
we
work
in
a
24-hour
shifts
and
stations.
That
kind
of
thing
as
it
relates
to
harassment
and
that
type
of
thing
and
we've
we've
previewed
the
training.
He
does
a
really
good
job
with
it
and
makes
it
very
meaningful
to
to
our
staff.
So
we're
looking
forward
to
that,
but
that's
really
all
I
have
for
you
today.
A
Any
questions
from
the
commissioners
no
well
great.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Unless
there's
any
business
that
needs
to
be
brought
toward
the
for
the
board,
we'll
be
in
recess
all.
