to
the

of
the
united

of
america
and
to
the
republic
for
which
it
stands.
One
nation,
under
god,
indivisible
with
liberty
and
justice
for
all.
A
Okay,
thank
you.
Okay,
go
go
going
on
to
two

of
the
agenda

proposed

five
zero

three
three
point:
zero:
zero:
one:
twenty
and
twenty
five
years
of
serv
service,
employee
wreck
recognition,
the
big
one.
I
Thank
you
and
thank
you
board,
president.
Thank
you,
trustees,
I'm
so
happy
to
have
our
20-25-year
service
veterans
here
tonight
and
to
honor
and
recognize
all
those
years
of
service
I'd
like
to
turn
it
over
to
mr
carlos
moran
assistant,
superintendent
of
human
resources.
Thank
you.
J
K
Okay,
all
right:
okay,
good
evening,
president
bentz
board
of
trustees,
superintendent,
dr
mitchell,
cabinet
members,
staff
guests.
If
we
have
any
students,
thank
you
for
being
here,
I'm
carlos
moran
assistant
superintendent
of
human
resources.
So
it
does
give
me
great
pleasure
to
be
here
to
recognize
the
staff
of
the
at
the
lanto
elementary
school
district,
who
devoted
their
careers
to
enriching
the
lives
of
our
beautiful
children
and
our
community.
K
They
have
also
supported
other
classified
and
certificated
colleagues
at
their
sites
or
in
their
respective
departments,
and
again
it's
an
honor
and
a
privilege
to
be
here
to
present
and
recognize
the
many
employees
this
evening.
As
all
of
us
probably
know,
if
you
got
some
cake
and
punch
prior
to
the
start
of
tonight's
board,
meeting
reception
was
hosted
to
honor
the
service
award
recipients.
K
I'd
like
to
personally
thank
the
hr
team,
dana
and
alejandra
for
helping
tonight,
as
well
as
julie,
nichols
and
her
cms
staff
for
preparing
the
cake
and
the
punch.
I
appreciate
your
teamwork
and
coordination
for
tonight's
awards.
So,
thank
you.
So
the
service
award
is
typically
an
annual
event
held
in
the
fall,
but
due
to
the
pandemic,
the
district
postponed
this
event
until
it
was
deemed
safe
to
do
so
so
tonight.
K
So
tonight
I
will
begin
with
the
employees
who
have
reached
their
20-year
of
service
in
the
district.
When
I
read
your
name,
please
stand
to
be
recognized
and
remain
standing
if
you
are
joining
us
via
zoom.
Please
turn
on
your
camera
to
be
recognized.
Thank
you.
L
K
E
K
So,
thank
you.
These
are
the
employees
who
earn
20
years
of
service
for
the
1920
school
year.
Thank
you.
So
I'm
going
to
read
off
now
the
employees
who
reached
the
20-year
milestone
during
the
2020-2021
school
year.
K
J
K
Call
your
name:
please
come
forward
to
receive
your
award
from
idetti
and
then
dana
will
direct
you
to
sit
in
a
chair
up
front
for
a
picture
opportunity
when
we
announce
all
the
names.
So
thank
you.
Let
me
read
the
names
for
the
1920
school
year:
25
years
of
service,
debbie
bowers.
K
K
K
K
A
Thank
you.
I
just
want
to
say
my
mic
is
off.
I
got
it
and
I
don't
need
it
honestly,
but
there's
a
loud
voice
of
mine.
No
again,
thank
thank
you,
so
so
much
for
your
serve
service
and
it's
very
very
much
appreciated
it's
a
long
time.
All
right,
let's
go
ahead
and
go
on
to
four
pub
public
test.
Testimony
4.001

comment
period
for
open
set
session.
I

only.
I
M
And
all
others
attending.
First
of
all,
I
would
like
to
congratulate
all
of
our
20
and
25
years
of
service
for
our
classified
and
certificated
staff
for
their
dedication
to
our
students
and
our
families
and
aesd.
M
M
M
N
Good
evening,
dr
mitchell,
members
of
the
cabinet
and
trustees
around
this
time
of
year
as
a
school
year,
winds
down
16
days
left
of
school,
not
that
anyone's
counting
my
mind
is
drawn
to
the
next
year.
I
consider
the
strategies
of
the
past
year.
What
worked?
What
didn't
work?
What
new
things?
I
would
like
to
implement
ideas
of
how
to
better
use
the
curriculum
and
training
we've
been
given.
I
always
have
lots
and
lots
of
ideas
for
a
better
and
more
productive
year
this
year.
However,
I
have
another
thing
to
consider.
N
In
this
year's
negotiations,
we
were
assured
explicitly
that
the
cap
of
36
students
per
class
in
grades,
four
through
eight,
would
not
be
exploited
within
days
of
signing
our
tentative
agreement
hr
flew
a
4-5
combo
position
and
described
the
class
as
having
36
students.
This
particular
position
is
at
a
choice
school,
where
there
is
almost
no
attrition.
N
N
In
my
conversations
with
mr
moran,
he
cited
preparing
for
the
attrition
that
sometimes
occurs
well,
even
with
as
much
transiency
as
our
district
has
more
students
transfer
in
than
out,
especially
at
the
beginning
of
the
year.
We
are
always
inundated
in
august
and
september,
as
I
mentioned
at
the
last
board
meeting,
there
must
be
room
to
grow
in
every
class.
The
district
now
has
15
days
to
reassign
teachers
as
needed,
and
combination
classes
must
be
the
last
resort,
not
planned
ahead
of
time.
N
We
are
still
in
the
wake
of
our
year
of
distance
learning.
This
past
year,
we've
seen
a
deficit
of
skills
unbeknownst
to
us
before
my
class,
for
example,
the
last
full
uninterrupted
year
of
school.
These
third
graders
had
was
kindergarten.
It
showed
we
have
also
seen
behaviors
that
are
off
the
charts.
Apathy
defiance
an
unwillingness
to
try
and
push
past
limitations,
not
to
mention
the
aggression
and
hostility
that
has
been
aimed
at
teachers
and
fellow
students
alike.
N
N
This
doesn't
mean
beginning
with
36
students
and
27
to
1
in
4th
and
5th
grade
combination,
non-class,
size
reduction
classes
not
to
exceed
30
students.
We
need
more
human
resources,
we
need
counselors,
we
need
speech
and
language
providers.
We
cannot
attract
these
specialized
roles
with
our
current
salary
scale
and
contract
fully
funding
the
lowest
hmo
was
a
strong
beginning,
but
our
last
salary
increase
will
not
even
keep
us
on
par
with
inflation,
not
by
a
long
shot
when
slps
are
in
high
demand
and
can
choose
from
any
district.
What
would
make
them
choose
our
district?
N
Our
students
are
still
reeling
from
loss
loss
of
family
members
to
covet
loss
of
educational
time,
loss
of
social
interaction
losses.
Untold
honestly,
I
see
kids
that
are
less
fit
than
they
were
be
pre-coveted.
I
see
kids
preferring
to
hide
behind
the
mask
as
pre-teen
and
teenage
insecurity
sits
in.
N
I
see
kids
addicted
to
online
entertainment
to
a
degree
that
eliminates
time
for
reading
for
playing
for
talking.
This
really
is
a
year
to
pull
back.
Give
the
students
the
space
and
attention
they
need
in
a
class
let
the
teachers
do
what
they
do
best
reaching
and
teaching
each
individual
don't
tie
our
hands
behind
our
backs,
giving
us
a
crowd
to
control.
We
can
do
better
for
our
kids.
P
Good
evening
board
members,
thank
you
for
this
opportunity
to
speak
before
you
I'm
dr
ellen
keeler,
I'm
the
rsp
teacher
at
george,
visual
and
performing
arts.
I
have
taught
for
27
years
mainly
in
a
resource
position.
I'm
concerned
about
speech
services.
P
P
P
P
P
P
I
have
data
that
was
collected
from
the
adta
teachers
out
of
41
respondents.
P
There
was
an
overwhelming
number
that
reported
that
they
were
not
receiving
consistent
services.
Thank
you.
Please
look
at
the
data.
Thank
you
for
your
time.
Hi.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
I
Thank
you,
dr
kohler.
The
board
recognizes
brenda
congo
from
zoom,
oh
you're,
here
hi
welcome.
Q
Perfect,
thank
you
so
much
good
evening,
president
ben's
board
members
superintendent,
dr
mitchell,
executive
cabinet
and
guests.
My
name
is
brenda
congo.
I
am
the
principal
for
talion
high
desert
academy.
I
am
here
this
evening
with
you
to
share
a
few
updates
and
information.
Q
Talion
is
currently
preparing
for
a
commencement
ceremony
for
the
class
of
2022,
in
which
our
speaker
will
be
melva
davis.
We
are
thrilled
to
have
her
and
to
have
her
share
an
inspirational
message
with
our
seniors.
Q
Talion
has
a
record-breaking
number
for
us
of
graduates
this
school
year.
47
students
are
on
track
to
graduate.
We
invite
you
to
join
us
for
our
ceremony
and
in
congratulating
our
students
on
june
17th
at
5
p.m.
At
high
desert
church
on
hook,
boulevard
invitations
are
forthcoming.
Q
Talion
has
also
had
the
pleasure
of
serving
the
community
this
year
with
putting
together
holiday
gifts
for
children
at
the
community
resource
center
in
atlanta
and
unload
an
entire
u-haul
truck
at
the
senior
club
which
benefited
local
families.
Taylion
welcomes
opportunities
to
support
the
atlanta
elementary
school
district
and
the
atalanta
community.
So
please
let
us
know
what
we
can
do.
I
look
forward
to
meeting
with
all
of
you
and
working
with
you
and
thank
you
so
much
for
your
time.
I
A
copy
of
my
comments
tonight,
and
so
I'm
gonna,
I'm
gonna,
share
on
zoom.
I
All
right
just
a
couple
of
updates
of
news
and
announcements.
I
want
to
again
join
all
here
tonight
to
recognize
our
our
classified
employee
next
week
and
we'll
be
having
some
some
goodies
into
schools
and
and
really
show
our
deep
appreciation
for
all
the
work
that
our
classified
staff
engage
in
to
help
us
be
successful.
So
thank
you
all
and
looking
forward
to
an
enjoyable
week
next
week,
I
want
to
congratulate
all
of
our
20
and
25
year
service
employees.
I
Thank
you
for
all
that
you
do
in
this
dedication
to
our
school
community.
I
want
to
congratulate
alex
radusko
and
his
staff,
as
well
as
his
fifth
graders,
that
just
came
down
from
representing
our
district.
Well
at
the
state
level.
History
day,
we
didn't
come
away
with
a
win,
but
we
came
away
with
some
valuable
experiences.
I
want
to
congratulate
ariel
nerez,
lissette,
acosta
ortega,
alisa,
garcia,
oliver
nieto
and
tahei,
thomas
and
johnson.
Thank
you
fifth
graders
for
representing
us
so
well.
I
I
also
want
to
thank
all
of
our
students
and
staff
and
parents
who
we
have
just
completed
our
statewide
standardized
testing.
Now
the
knowledge
is
cast,
as
was
shared
by
miss
rader.
Earlier
it's
been
three
years
since
we,
our
kids,
have
taken
a
formal
assessment,
it's
a
rigorous
test
and
just
wanted
to
congratulate
our
staffs
for
completing
that
part.
I
I
know
we're
still
doing
some
makeups
in
some
places,
but
thank
you
all
just
want
to
again
put
a
plug
in
for
our
summer
enrichment,
camp
registration,
that's
open,
offered
grades,
k27
will
be
june
june,
9th
to
july
1
8
to
12.
breakfast
and
lunch
will
be
provided.
Registration
is
online
and
on
our
website,
and
the
program
includes
academic
enrichment
study
trips
and
fun
assemblies
and
projects,
and
so
we're
looking
forward
to
that,
and
so
I'd
also
like
to
take
a
moment
to
commend
the
board
on
on
behalf
of
our
entire
staff.
I
I
want
to
thank
the
board
for
your
commitment
to
competitive
salaries
and
health
benefits
for
our
entire
staff.
Since
2020
the
board
has
approved
salary
increases,
one-time
salary
enhancements
and
payments
for
out-of-pocket
health
care
costs,
classroom
supplies
and
culvert
costs,
increases
to
employee
medical
benefit
caps
to
cover
100
of
the
cost
of
our
lowest
cost
health
and
health
care
plan
and
increase
life
insurance
coverages.
I
All
in
these
commitments,
total
more
than
15
million
and,
as
was
said
earlier,
we're
not
done
we're
going
to
just
keep
plugging
away
and
as
as
the
budget
comes
out
from
the
governor
this
year,
but
I
wanted
to
take
a
moment.
Sometimes
we
don't
stop
and
celebrate
and
really
consider
the
monumental
feat
that
I
think
deserves
recognition
so
combined.
These
decisions
have
demonstrated
the
board's
commitment
to
strengthening
the
quality
of
life
for
our
entire
staff,
and
I
commend
the
board
for
your
leadership
and
dedication.
So
please
stand.
Let's
recognize
the
board.
I
Thank
you
staff
appreciate
your
your
commitment,
all
right,
so
just
a
couple
things
I
wanted
wanted
to
just
cover
some
things
that
we
have
a.
We
have
a
suspension
presentation
later
on
just
to
go
over
some
data,
but
I
want
to
cover
a
few
things
for
the
benefit
benefit
of
our
staff
and
school
community.
I
Just
to
review
the
board
last
year
adopted
a
set
of
core
values
that
really
communicates
the
board's
wishes
and
desires
or
legacy
that
they
want
to
leave
in
our
district,
and
we
really
have
when
we
went
away
as
a
board
in
our
retreat
this
past
summer,
the
board
really
really
identified
number
four
as
being
a
a
a
priority
for
our
board
in
terms
of
emphasis
on
student
achieve
student
success.
I
Number
four
reads:
the
board
believes
that
we
have
a
duty
to
foster
the
complete
growth
and
development
of
each
student's,
personal
and
academic
potential.
We
therefore
are
committed
to
individualized
opportunities
that
respond
to
the
uniqueness
of
our
learners,
rigorous
academic
standards,
as
for
the
best
that
each
student
can
offer
and
providing
learning
experiences
that
will
bring
our
students
eventual
success
in
a
global
economy.
I
So
we
we
are,
we
are
glad
that
the
board
is
focused
on
these
areas
of
these
core
values
and
we've
asked
leaders
to
review
these
with
our
staff,
because
we
want
to
aspire
to
these
goals
and
live
and
live
these
goals,
and
so
also
the
board
also
highlighted
number
nine,
safe,
respectful
and
well
maintained
schools
and
facilities.
Number
nine
reads:
the
board
believes
that
our
schools
must
be
warm
welcoming
and
promote
a
positive
school
culture.
I
We
therefore
are
committed
to
high
behavioral
and
academic
expectations,
fair
and
reasonable
consequences
and
patient
and
respectful
support
and
encouragement
for
all
of
our
students,
and
so-
and
I
and
my
favorite
it's
one
of
my
favorites
that
our
school
should
feel
warm,
and
so
that's
not
something
you
can
always
measure,
but
that's
certainly
something
that
you
can
feel
as
soon
as
you
hit
our
campuses,
I
believe
we're
making
some
great
strides
toward
that
end.
I
Our
leaders
are
here
and
making
a
big
dent
and
making
that
a
reality
in
all
of
our
schools.
So
thank
you
staff
and
thank
you
board
for
being
clear
about
your
expectations
just
to
keep
moving.
I
wanted
to
review
real
briefly
our
strategic
objectives
for
the
next
three
years.
I
I
We
want
to
begin
to
engage
our
families
in
the
support
of
student
success
by
implementing
good
good
two-way
communication
and
input
gathering
and
recognizing
student
success
is
whether
how
small
or
large
it
is.
We
really
want
to
create
as
much
opportunity
to
recognize
our
students
for
the
work
they're
doing
and
the
growth
that
you're
having
as
well
as
provide
learning
opportunities
for
our
stu,
our
parents.
I
We
want
to
create
a
work
culture
that
is,
that
is
anchored
in
a
system
of
continuous
improvement.
So
so
all
staff
classified
certificated
management
board
superintendent.
We
created
a
creative
environment
where
coaching
development
and
feedback
systems
help
us
all
to
get
better
the
better.
The
more
capacity
we
have,
the
more
knowledge,
skill,
knowledge
and
capacity
that
we
have
as
staff
we're
able
to
provide
better
services
to
our
students.
I
So
we
know
in
public
education
we
are
always
victim
of
the
latest
fad,
and
so
I
I've
given
strict
directions
to
our
principles
to
really
go
slow,
go
deep
instead
of
going
wide
and
just
focus
on
one
or
two
things
that
we
get
really
good
at
over
the
next
couple
years,
to
really
add
capacity
to
provide
high
quality
instruction
number
six
mtss,
we're
really
gonna
start
digging
into
that
this
year.
I
We
want
to
begin
high,
not
begin,
but
continue
to
hire
high
quality
staff,
recruit
higher
training
and
retain
highly
quality
staff,
and
that's
just
not
an
hr
function
that
all
of
us
in
here
retain
high
quality
staff
by
the
good
things
that
we
say
about
our
district,
about
the
good
leaders
that
we
have
in
our
district
about
the
potential
and
possibilities
of
our
district
to
attract
and
recruit
and
retain,
and
then
supporting
people
when
they
are
hired
in
our
district
is
the
job
of
all
of
us
so
that
we
can
get
our.
I
We
can
get
more
staff
to
come
and
be
recognized
for
20
and
25
years
of
service
in
our
district.
So
thank
you
for
that.
We
want
to
begin
to
engage
our
community
partners
when
I'm
realizing
that,
especially
with
all
the
needs
that
are
coming
off
of
coving,
we
really
need
to
reach
out
to
our
community
to
get.
I
There
are
some
organizations
that
may
provide
some
services
better
than
we
can
at
schools,
and
so
we
need
to
partner
with
them
to
assist
us
to
meet
the
many
many
deep
needs
that
our
children
have
in
this
community.
So
there
are,
there
are
folks
out
there
that
want
to
help,
and
so
I'm
working
with
those
folks
to
bring
them
in
we're
relevant
and
and
we're
aligned
to
our
district
culture
and
goals.
I
And,
lastly,
we
want
to
monitor
progress,
monitoring
all
the
things
that
we're
doing
through
kpis
key
performance
indicators.
I'm
going
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
those
now
so
for
the
for,
for
our
our
leading
and
trailing
indicators,
you
know
oftentimes,
we
talk
about
test
scores,
and
so
that's
not
our
focus.
I
Our
focus
is
improving
the
quality
of
the
culture
and
climate
in
our
schools,
the
engagement
of
our
staff
and
parents
and
students.
The
quality
of
classroom
instruction,
the
quality
of
professional
learning,
experiences,
collaboration,
experience,
coaching
and
feedback
systems,
the
quality
of
our
student
behavioral
intervention,
enrichment
and
social,
emotional
systems
and
informative
assessment
systems.
I
We
believe
that
improving
these
systems
in
our
schools
will
create
the
kind
of
environment
where
our
staff
and
students
can
perform
at
their
optimum,
and
then
we
know
that
that
standardized
test
scores
and
english
learner
achievement
data
discipline,
data
and
attendance
data
will
rise.
So
it's
not
chasing
trailing
indicators,
it's
improving,
leading
indicators
and
so
just
moving
on
from
there.
I
So
the
next
three
years
so
this
year,
what
we're
using
2122
is
our
baseline
year
for
attendance
for
student
achievement,
data
of
data
and
and
that
will
establish
our
our
kpis,
we'll
use
this
baseline
year
to
establish
growth
targets
for
2223,
and
then
we
will
also
use
this
year
to
establish
school
growth
targets
that
will
be
calculated
using
the
distance
plus
or
minus
from
district
averages,
and
so
each
school
will
have
individual
kpis
that
they'll
need
to
meet
based
on
this
year's
baseline
data.
I
So
I've
informed
our
leaders-
hey
just
let's
do
our
best
and
keep
you
know
and
work
on
our
systems
and
we'll
we
will
create
growth
targets
once
we
have
all
of
the
achievement
and
discipline
attendance
data
in
for
this
year,
using
it
as
a
baseline.
Obviously
we
don't
want
to
use
test
scores
that
are
three
years
old
suspension
data.
That's
three
years
old.
We
need
to
look
at
what
our
current
needs
are
and
go
from
there.
I
So
we're
happy
to
support
that,
and
so
so
borah
put
this
slide
together
to
get
some
context
about
perspective.
These
are
all
pictures
of
the
of
of
the
the
central
park
in
new
york
and
so
there's
an
airplane
view
of
central
park.
I
There's
a
balcony
view
of
central
park
and
there's
a
ground
level
view
of
central
park
and
so
board
presentations
around
data
around
achievement
data
discipline
data
attendance
data
always
will
take
on
an
airplane
view,
although
we
can
provide
you
school
by
school
teacher
by
teacher
data,
but
doing
a
presentation
at
with
at
a
ground
level
view
would
be.
It
would
take
a
lot
more
time.
So
we
want
to
schedule
those
kinds
of
things
doing
in
workshops
and
stuff
like
that,
so
the
data
you'll
see
tonight
is
a
really
high
level
district
level
view.
I
I
How
do
our
levels
of
performance
and
trends
compare
to
levels
at
the
state
level,
at
the
county
level
to
similar
districts
or
districts
around
us
or
to
our
aspirational
districts,
and
how
do
they
care
compare
between
schools?
So
that's
when
we
do
a
real,
deep
level
of
comparison
and
then,
lastly
integration,
how
does
each
data
set
compare
to
another?
For
example,
how
does
suspension
rate
impact
attendance
rate
that
impacts
student
performance,
and
so
this
is
the
kind
of
data
that
you'll
see
tonight?
I
I'm
so
happy
that
the
academic
services
department
has
prepared
a
very
detailed
suspension
and
explosion
report,
but
it's
followed
by
a
very
detailed
action
plan
around
pbs,
sdl
opportunity,
programs
and
all
those
kinds
of
things
to
really
provide
some
increased
performance
among
staff
and
students,
as
relates
to
those
areas
and
so
more.
Those
are
my
comments.
Thank
you.
F
A
Let's
go
on
to
six
6.001
gov
governing
board
mem
members
reports
and
announcements.
G
G
You
know
I
was
awarded
15
years.
The
time
went
by
so
fast.
You
know,
and
I
just
want
to
say
that
you
are
part
of
arnold
you'll,
always
be
and
congratulations
my
comments
tonight.
G
I
had
asked
for
an
agenda
item
to
be
placed
on
the
agenda.
It
didn't
get
there.
So
I'm
going
to
take
this
time
to
talk
with
the
board
about
what
that
agenda
item
was.
I
talked
to
dr
mitchell
about
this.
I
believe
that
one
of
the
things
that
we
can
do
to
improve
our
our
community
and
our
in
our
school
sites
and
our
in
our
school
culture
is
to
involve
the
community
and
the
selection
of
principles.
G
I
would
like
to
see-
and
this
is
me
and
I'm
asking
my
boy
to
hear
me
out.
I
would
like
to
see
a
community
forum
whenever
there's
a
principal
vacancy,
to
have
a
community
form
in
the
community
to
find
out
what
what
our
community
is.
Looking
for,
not
just
parents
but
the
community.
Our
children
walk
through
the
neighborhoods
every
day
and
in
order
to
involve
our
community,
which
is
one
of
dr
mitchell's.
G
G
So
if
the
parents
are
involved
in
the
selection
of
a
principal,
then
I
think
that
they'll
be
more
comfortable,
sending
their
children
to
school
and,
along
with
our
discipline
plan,
they
need
to
be
a
part
of
that
as
well.
They
need
to
know
the
consequences
of
their
students
acting
out
and
they
need
to
be
a
part
of
developing
that
plan.
G
I
have
children,
my
children
are
grown,
but
I
have
grandchildren
and
I
know
exactly
how
they
feel
so
back
to
principle
selection.
I
would
like
them
to
be
a
part
of
every
step
of
the
way,
even
maybe
at
the
end
when
the
principal
is
selected
for
the
superintendent,
maybe
sit
down
with
with
with
the
superintendent
and
say
you
know.
Why
did
you
select
this
people
before
it
comes
to
the
board?
I
think
it
needs
to
be
done.
G
G
G
G
You
know
I
I
didn't
think
of
that.
My
granddaughter
goes
to
university
prep
and
a
lot
of
kids
lost
their
parents
through
coving,
and
they
have
a
class
like
that
that
the
kids
just
go
and
vent
and
and
get
the
support
that
they
need.
So
I
I
don't
want
a
social
worker
sitting
in
an
office
in
the
district
office.
G
G
Holly,
I
don't
know
you
remember,
school
services
came
in
and
did
a
forensic
audit
of
our
special
education
department
to
make
sure
that
we're
on
track,
and
I
think
I
make
I
think
it's
time
that
we
do
it
again,
some
key
indicators
of
where
we're
lacking
what
we
need
to
do
and
get
that
done,
because
we
having
several
oah
cases
and-
and
you
know,
if
we're
not
doing
what
we
need
to
do-
and
I
know
special
education
is
tricky,
but
we
have
to
make
sure
that
we're
all
doing
the
right
thing.
G
One
other
thing
before
I
stop.
I
know
dr
mitchell
talked
about
in
the
helicopter,
the
helicopter
view
the
balcony
view
and
the
street
view
I've
been
hearing
all
year
that
we're
last
we're
the
last
in
the
county.
G
G
I
understand
professional
development
for
teachers
that
help,
but
we
also
need
to
look
at
our
students
as
well.
What
do
they
need
so
board?
That's
the
end
and
I
would
like
to
say
I
did
go
on
a
site
visit
a
through
and
I
have
to
apologize
to
ms
yukovich.
The
appointment
was
set
for
1
30
school
bail.
Time
was
at
2
o'clock,
so
I
really
didn't
get
a
chance
to
see
much,
but
I
will
be
coming
back
out
at
an
earlier
time.
Okay,
that's
all
I
have
thank
you.
F
G
I
I
G
T
G
Oh,
the
social.
C
I
Yeah
we've
the
board
approved
the
social
worker.
We
are
post,
we
are
that
is
currently
flying
and
you-
and
I
talked
about
having
that
social
worker
conduct
some
trauma
classes
I've.
I've
agreed
to
that,
and
so
certainly
this
will
be
part
of
that
person's
duties
in
terms
of
special
way.
In
audit,
I've
informed
the
board
a
couple
weeks
ago
that
we
are
vetting
companies
to
conduct
the
special
ed
audits,
so
that'll
be
we'll
be
bringing
that
to
the
board
for
approval
shortly.
G
School
services
did
one,
and
it
was
very,
very,
very
specific.
I
C
C
One
of
the
things
that
I
wanted
to
talk
about
was
that
we
went
to
a
retreat.
I
think
I
don't
know
when
it
was
last
month
or
month
before
a
couple
of
months
ago,
march
march.
Thank
you
during
that
retreat.
We
talked
about
things
that
we
have
on
our
agenda.
One
of
the
things
that
I
sometimes
perplexed
about
is
that
I
am
here
in
order
to
move
the
district
forward
for
our
children,
just
as
well
as
our
staff.
C
I
am
coming
in
appearing
to
be
late
because
it's
5
30.
I
wish
I
could
come
and
as
a
parent
you
know
I
have
to
get
off
work
from
the
san
bernardino
make
my
way
up
here
check
on
my
daughter
and
then
my
wick
my
way
here.
So
I
don't
get
to
eat
cake
or
to
say
congratulations.
You
know
because
I'm
running
through
the
door.
C
However,
I
just
want
to
say
that
I
hear
everyone
when
they
talk
about.
You
know
the
speech
therapy.
You
know
for
our
children,
you
know
that's
something
that
where's
that
money
you
know
allocated
for
or
why
is
it
that
we
don't
see
more
on
the
gender
that
says
something
about
children,
the
money
going
to
some
program
for
children?
You
know
after
school
program
in
things
that
would
help
if
we're
31
32
on
our
list,
then
let's
go
back
to
the
basics.
Let's
do
things
that
require
that
children
learn
the
way
that
they've
been
learning.
H
Good
evening,
I
want
to
start
off
by
saying
thank
you
to
the
42
individuals
who
took
honor
tonight,
12
of
which
were
25
plus
years
and
sadly
enough.
Some
of
you
were
probably
teaching
when
I
was
still
in
school.
So
thank
you
for
being
amazing
and
still
here
we're
a
little
bit
much.
H
I
also
want
to
take
a
note
and
say
that
you
know
I
try
to
listen
to
our
speakers
every
every
meeting
and
and
put
myself
in
those
shoes,
and
I
I
want
to
encourage
more
to
come
and
speak
with
us.
Tell
us
what
is
going
on
on
that
ground
level
that
trustee
turner
is
speaking
about.
We
need
to
know
because
we
cannot
make
airplane
moves
if
we
can't
see
reality.
H
H
T
Good
evening,
okay,
I'm
just
going
to
jump
in
real,
quick,
miss
raider.
Thank
you.
I
totally
appreciate
your
comments.
Whenever
I
I
ran
for
the
board.
My
two
top
priorities
was
discipline
in
our
district,
strong
discipline
and
the
other
one
was:
oh,
I'm
drawing
a
blank
for
a
minute,
it's
age,
I'm
so
sorry,
okay,
oh
21
class
sizes.
I
agree
a
hundred
percent.
I
know
it's
hard.
T
I
know
districts
struggle
with
that,
but
there's
just
I
believe
our
kids
deserve
that
they
need
more
one-on-one
and
especially
in
our
community,
I'm
very
aware
of
our
community
and
the
children
that
are
in
it
and
I
do
believe
they
deserve
extra
special
attention
and
learning
they
are
distracted.
They
got
a
lot
going
on
and
just
the
smaller
class
sizes,
the
better.
T
I
know
it's
better
for
them
and
I
know
it's
better
for
the
teachers,
it's
just
better
for
everybody
and
I
do
believe
we
need
to
focus
on
that
find
the
money
whatever
it
takes
to
make.
These
kids
learn
and
feel
loved
and
appreciated
at
school,
and
I
know
it'll
be
easier
on
the
teachers,
so
I
just
wanted
to
make
that
comment.
Other
than
that
I
wanted
to
thank
everyone
for
the
many
years
of
service.
Some
of
you
taught
my
children
and
I
have
become
very
good
friends
with
many
of
you.
T
We've
been
here
a
long
time,
we've
been
through
a
lot.
I've
always
considered
this
district,
my
family
and
the
people
in
it
are
my
family,
so
you're
all
just
so
special
to
me,
and
you
just
deserve
everything
you
know
life
has
to
offer,
I'm
just
so
proud
of
all
of
you.
So
it's
been
a
pleasure
to
be
your
board
member
all
these
years.
It's
just
been
an
honor
and
I'm
very
proud
of
all
of
you,
I'm
going
to
really
miss
the
ones
that
are
retiring.
T
A
Okay,
thank
you
and
it's
my
turn.
So
first
thing
I
want
to
say
again
thank
thank
you
for
the
dead
dedication
of
our
staff.
I
truly
appreciate
it.
I
also
want
to
congratulate
the
ones
who
are
retired
towering
again,
I'm
jealous,
but
that's
okay.
I
think
I'm
gonna
re-retire
five.
Five
years
after
I
I
die.
That's
my
that's
my
goal
because
I
started
started
late,
so
there's
no
retirement
time
for
me
also,
I
want
to
congratu
congratulate
dr
dwizon
and
met
mr
krauss
because
they
they
were
approved
for
this
program.
A
It's
a
soup
soup
super
in
intense
attendance,
a
cow
academy
which
is
host
hosted
by
you
usc,
and
I
thought
that
was
because
it's
like
a
high
it's
hard
to
get
in
there
right
so
and
the
fact
that
they're
due
doing
this
on
their
own
time.
I
think
it's,
it's
pretty.
You
know
they're
they're,
dead,
dedication
to
learn,
learn,
learning
just
continue
continues,
and
I
do
want
to
say
basically
that's
it
because
I
really
do
want
one
one
is
to
get
out
of
here
on
time.
A
I
Well,
thank
you.
7.01
and
7.02
are
related
to
our
williams

I'm
turning
it
over
to
dr

Thank
you.

Yes,
thank
you

we

So
this

summarizes
the

and

in
the
following
areas:
instructional

facilities,
teacher
vacancies
and
any
misassignments.
O
O
Again,
we
bring
this
item
every

with
the

due
in

for
your

A
I
O
All
right,
good
evening
board
president
board
of
trustees,
dr
mitchell,
cabinet
staff,
students
and
community
members.
Tonight
we
are
pleased
to
continue
our
site-based
professional
learning
and
collaboration
plans.
Tonight's.
We
have
braddock
elementary
and
proud
principal,
christina
valenzuela
and
vice
principal
diana
tibet,
who
will
be
presenting
their
plan
and
sharing
how
they
are
collaboratively,
building
the
skill
and
knowledge
of
their
staff
aligned
to
their
professional
learning
foci
in
this
first
year
of
implementation.
R
I
am
christina
valenzuela,
proud
principal
of
braddock
elementary
school.
Thank
you
for
taking
the
time
tonight
to
get
to
know
braddock
and
get
some
insight
regarding
our
professional
learning
plan
quick
slide
prior
to
us
identifying
our
site's
individual
areas
of
focus.
I
was
tasked
to
survey
my
staff
regarding
what
we
believed
we
needed
to
focus
on.
R
From
there
we
narrowed
our
attention
to
two
foci.
Our
first
focus
centered
around
reading
foundational
skills.
We
knew
that,
in
order
to
improve
student,
fluency
knowledge
and
comprehension,
we
needed
to
ensure
that
students
foundational
skills
were
intact.
Our
goal
is
to
essentially
move
students
out
of
urgent
intervention
status
and
increase
student
reading
levels.
R
R
We
knew
that
it
would
be
necessary
to
provide
our
teachers
with
staff
with
sorry
provide
our
teachers
and
staff
with
the
resources
and
tools
that
they
would
need
to
turn
our
goals
into
reality.
R
R
Our
staff
meetings
became
opportunities
to
further
strengthen
our
core
focus.
We
discussed
ways
to
improve
behavior,
academic
participation,
attendance
and
assessments.
We
specifically
talked
about
pbis
incentives,
best
practices
and
test
prep
ideas.
We
also
discuss
ways
to
inspire
students
such
as
student
presentations,
project-based
learning
activities
and
the
integration
of
current
and
historical
events
and
instruction.
R
R
R
What
you
should
see
and
hear
and
feel
from
the
teacher
as
well
as
from
students
in
regards
to
our
reading
foundational
skills
focus.
You
should
hear
teachers
using
different
strategies
to
guide
reading
fluency.
You
should
see
teachers
engaging
and
interacting
students
in
different
ways
that
support
reading
comprehension.
You
should
feel
a
welcoming
environment
that
promotes
engagement.
R
R
Similarly,
for
our
social
emotional
focus,
you
should
hear
teachers
identifying
students,
strengths
and
encouraging
students
to
challenge
themselves.
You
should
see
restorative
restorative
circles
and
pbis
interventions
and
supports
in
place.
You
should
feel
teachers
supporting
self-reflection
in
themselves
as
well
as
in
their
students.
R
R
R
We
were
able
to
provide
useful
feedback
because
of
our
key
performance
indicators.
As
you
know,
a
single
measure
does
not
accurately
demonstrate
growth
or
lack
thereof,
which
is
why
we
use
multiple
measures
for
comparison.
The
kpis
we
are
using
are
star
data,
formative
assessments,
growth
toward
standards,
increased
attendance,
positive
behavior
and
increased
collaboration,
click
slide.
R
This
is
by
far
my
favorite
slide
pride
matters,
feeling
connected
to
an
environment
and
or
a
group
of
people
creates
community,
and
I
believe,
that's
one
of
the
most
important
things
that
we
have
built
at
our
site.
Our
objective
in
this
area
was
to
create
an
environment
that
inspired
students
to
want
to
come
to
school.
R
We
have
achieved
this
through
our
spirit
days:
family
engagement
opportunities,
campus
beautification
projects,
our
safe
school
ambassadors
program
and
our
new
school
mural,
which
was
created
by
my
friends
and
librarian
at
george
on
parochi
and
brought
to
life
by
our
after-school
program.

R
R
In
closing,
I
would
like
to
thank
my
support
team.
I
hope
this
doesn't
sound
like
an
academy
award
speech,
but
it's
a
lot
of
thank
yous,
there's,
no
way
that
any
of
this
would
be
possible
without
them.
I
would
first
like
to
thank
my
counterpart
diana
tibet
for
being
incredibly
knowledgeable
and
making
sure
that
a
new
principle
doesn't
fail.
R
I
would
like
to
thank
my
office
staff,
who
are
second
to
none
shakira
lupita,
melanie
deanna.
These
people
ensure
efficiency
and
a
high
quality
of
customer
service
day
after
day
to
our
custodial
staff,
our
librarian,
our
proctors
for
making
sure
our
site
is
safe
and
welcoming
and
clean.
Thank
you
for
all
you
do
to
braddock
teachers.
Thank
you
for
staying
focused
and
dedicated
to
our
students.
In
the
most
trying
of
times
you
have
shown
that,
with
the
right
amount
of
pressure
and
support
diamonds
do
prevail.
R
To
my
colleagues
who
have
answered
calls-
and
I
promise
you
there
have
been
many
sorry
for
lifting
me
up
and
giving
me
all
the
support
that
I
need
there's
no
way
that
I
could
have
been
a
first-year
principal
without
them
to
dr
mitchell.
Our
executive
cabinet
and
our
board,
thank
you
for
being
supportive
in
your
decisions,
progressive
in
your
leadership
and
mindful
of
the
importance
of
change.
R
T
T
E
L
J
H
I'll
keep
my
comments.
Super
brief.
I
promise
I
just
wanted
to
take
a
moment
and
tell
you
that
when
I
heard
the
see
hear
feel
structure
that
you
presented
tonight,
I
honestly
was
impressed
because
you're
not
just
taking
data
but
you're
involving
emotion
and
compassion,
which
is
something
that
every
student
needs
in
our
district
right
now.
H
These
are
little
people
maneuvering
very
big
people,
problems
such
as
kobed,
so
I
I
want
to
give
you
a
personal
applaud
for
that,
because
that
that
was
amazing
to
me
to
hear
a
principal
just
care
that
much
and
consider
that.
So.
Thank
you.
Thank.
D
C
I
want
to
say
the
mirror
is
just
very
warm.
It
is,
and
I
want
to
thank
you
for
making
an
environment
where
thinking
that
to
have
an
environment
that
children
want
to
come
to,
because
children
should
get
up
in
the
morning
and
feel
excited
and
want
to
come
to
school,
to
have
an
environment
where
they
can
thrive
in
you
know,
and
the
first
way
is
to
actually
get
them
there,
so
they
want
to
be
there
in
the
morning.
A
Okay,
I
just
want
want
to
say
I
got
to
vis
visit
some.
Some
of
the
schools
did
this
year,
the
first
some
semester,
semester,
I'm
off
right
friday,
so
I
was
trying
to
get
to
as
men
many
schools
and
I
did
get
get
to
go,
go
to
your
school
and
I
really
really
loved
you.
You
were
out
out
there,
the
kids
were
eat,
eating
their
their
breakfast
and
the
safe
school
and
and
bass
ambassadors
were
there
take
taking
their
job
really
seriously.
A
They
were
on
task
and
make
making
sure
that
that
all
the
other
student
students
you
know
picked
picked
up
their
trash,
but
not
not
in
a
mean
way.
They
were
really.
I
mean
it
was
just
a
very
pause.
Positive
experience
experience
there
and
I,
I
think
you
you
are
due
to
doing
what
well
at
the
school
and
thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
I
Thank
you
trustee
benson,
so
this
is
kind
of
the
counterpart
to
the
presentation
that
we
did
a
while
back
on
our
benchmarks,
and
so
this
is
kind
of
a
high-level
view
of
our
suspension.
I
A
kind
of
a
preliminary
discussion
about
the
action
plan
that
we've
are
developing
as
we
speak
and
actually
have
watched
and
so
happy
to
turn
over
to
dr
twyzon
and
miss
carol
kirwan.
Thank
you.
O
O
I
would
like
to
present
a
brief
overview
of
the
data
that
we
have
before
you
this
evening.
The
data
that
we
present
to
you
tonight
represents
the
analysis
of
multiple
year
trends
for
our
district
aesd
suspension
rate
from
the
2019-2020
school
year
was
5,
which
is
higher
than
2.6
percent
at
the
state
and
3.6
at
san
bernardino
county
levels.
O
O
O
O
O
O
It's
important
to
note
two
key
facts
about
this
data
and
the
data
moving
forward.
So
2019
2020
is
from
august
to
march
due
to
the
shutdown
and
then
there
was
no
state
data
for
2020
to
2021
due
to
distance
learning.
O
This
slide
shows
a
breakdown
of
the
number
of
students
suspended
by
grade
level.
Over
multiple
years,
73
percent
of
total
aesd
suspensions
occur
at
the
middle
school
level.
There
is
an
increase
in
the
sixth
grade
over
previous
year's
data
and
slight
decreases
in
the
seventh
and
eighth
grade.
Using
that
same
year's
the
same
year's
data.
O
This
slide
takes
a
closer
look
at
our
middle
schools
compared
to
the
state
and
the
county
levels.
Overall,
it
shows
colombia
trending
at
about
the
same
rate
from
19
to
18
from
1920.
melva
davis
shows
a
slight
increase
from
two
to
five
percent
in
1920,
and
mesa
linda
shows
a
10
from
1920
going
from
19
to
29.
O
O
O
O
O
O
We
therefore
are
committed
to
high
behavioral
and
academic
expectations,
fair
and
reasonable
consequences,
impatient
and
respectful
support
and
encouragement
for
all
students.
We
are
using
this
board
core
value
to
drive
our
action
steps
moving
forward
so
that
all
students
and
staff
feel
safe
and
supported
while
at
school.
O
This
board
core
value,
sits
at
the
forefront
of
all
action
plans
and
next
steps
that
will
be
shared
with
you
by
mrs
coburn
this
evening.
It
is
our
core
value
that
will
allow
us
to
focus
and
drive
our
work
to
create
warm
positive
and
welcoming
school
climates
at
every
school.
At
this
time,
I'd
like
to
turn
it
over
to
mrs
coburn
to
talk
about
our
action
steps
moving
forward.
V
Good
evening
here
are
our
action
steps
moving
forward.
I
will
go
into
more
detail
on
each
one
of
these
areas
coming
up
in
the
presentation
this
year.
All
sites
will
begin
implementation
of
pbis
reset
training
and
implementation
of
district-wide
procedures
and
systems
for
preventing
and
responding
to
inappropriate
student
behavior
utilization
of
progressive
discipline
practices
where
the
administrators
and
teachers
determine
appropriate
consequences
and
or
supports
to
help
students
to
improve
their
behavior
and
make
better
decisions.
V
This
timeline
gives
you
a
brief
overview
of
our
implementation
timeline.
Last
november,
our
new
team
began
to
build
infrastructure
that
includes
training
contracts,
planning
and
deployment.
This
may
and
june
we
are
launching
the
pbis
reset
at
all.
School
sites
upcoming
in
july
and
august,
will
be
district-wide
training
for
all
school
personnel
in
the
disciplinary
guide,
referral
systems
and
proper
documentation
practices
within
aries,
including
parent
notification,
the
first
quarter
of
next
school
year.
We
will
begin
site-based
training
and
coaching
in
pbis
with
our
partners
from
calhoun
in
october.
V
V
Alternative
programs
will
open
an
opportunity
class
in
the
fall,
providing
students
with
another
option
for
learning
in
lieu
of
expulsions.
The
remainder
of
the
school
year
from
october
to
june
will
consist
of
progress.
Monitoring
of
implementation
and
providing
student
supports
based
on
needs
board.
Reports
will
be
done
in
december
and
may
to
update
the
board
on
our
progress.
V
V
Pbis
will
be
reset
for
the
next
school
year,
meaning
that
we
will.
We
will
retrain
all
schools
on
this
three-tiered
intervention
system
to
improve
outcomes
for
all
students
to
better
assist
our
schools
with
implementation
with
implementing
with
fidelity.
We
have
assembled
a
district
pbis
leadership
team
composed
of
school
administrators
teachers,
classified
staff
and
district
administrators.
V
V
Our
updated
progressive
discipline
guide
will
offer
alternatives
to
disciplinary
measures
using
a
research-based
framework
with
strategies
that
improve
behavioral
and
academic
outcomes.
These
are
age-appropriate
and
designed
to
address
and
correct
the
pupils
specific
misbehavior
as
specified
in
education
code.
V
V
An
undercover
anti-bullying
team
is
a
strategic
intervention
where
the
target
of
bullying
the
counselor
or
administrator
and
teachers
together
recruit
a
group
of
influential
students
who
simultaneously
support
the
target
of
bullying
and
influence
the
class
relationships
by
co-authoring,
an
alternative
story
of
peace
and
harmony.
The
uabt
will
be
utilized
district-wide
at
all
school
sites.
V
V
Lastly,
rounding
out
the
overall
district
plan
is
trauma-informed
practices.
Trauma-Informed
practices
mean
that
we
acknowledge
the
role
that
trauma
plays
in
the
development
of
our
students
lives
and
we
choose
to
use
strategies
that
support
students
in
overcoming
these
challenges.
Some
of
these
practices
include
relationships
and
connections.
O
A
T
Yes,
I
have
a
question
next
year:
can
we
get
like
either
a
quarterly
report
to
the
board
on
how
our
discipline
is
working
and
how
successful
it
is?
I
don't
mean
to
damper
what's
going
on,
but
as
a
board
member,
I
constantly
hear
about
kids
who
have
brought
in
a
knife
to
school
or
there
was
a
fight
or
there
was
this
or
is
it
that
there
was
that,
but
yet
I'm
not
hearing
from
upper
management
that
this
took
place,
I'm
hearing
it
from
teachers,
parents
on
campus.
T
You
know
a
kid
brought
a
knife
to
school,
but
yet
he's
still
on
campus,
he
still
came
back.
I
don't
know
what
to
believe
and
I
think,
as
a
board
member,
we
need
to
be
informed.
We
need
to
know
what's
going
on,
so
we
can
see
or
measure
what
is
in
place
and
maybe
what
we're
hearing.
So
I
just
think
the
board
needs,
like
I
said,
quarterly
updates.
Let
us
know
how
it's
working.
T
If
it's
not
working,
what
can
we
do
to
change
it
fix
it,
and
I
think
we
really
need
to
stay
on
top
of
it?
That's
my
big
thing
is:
if
we
stay
on
top
of
it
and
we're
all
over
it,
I
can't
see
it
failing.
You
know
if
we
need
more
security,
if
we
need
more
this
or
more
that
we
can
get
that,
and
we
can
make
it
happen
if
we
don't
hear
about
it
till
the
end
of
the
year.
T
J
V
We
have
something:
that's
called
an
on-campus
intervention
in
which
the
students
can
go
to
and
they
would
work
with
an
administrator
or
counselor
to
either
do
an
activity
based
on
whatever
head
code
violation.
They,
you
know
they
broke
as
an
activity
to
kind
of
take
a
deeper
look
at
what
they
did
and
maybe
help
them
to
think
about
what
they
could
do
in
the
future.
V
H
I
mean
at
least
on
campus
suspension
they're
still
with
us,
we're
still
able
to
oversee
how
they're
doing
make
sure
they're
fed
for
the
day.
So
I
guess
that's
something
I
I
should
talk
to
dr
mitchell
about.
Thank
you.
G
Thank
you
for
your
presentation.
It's
alarming.
G
To
resolving
this
this
problem,
what
do
you
envision
your
opportunity
program,
looking
like
in
this
car.
D
When
you
said
opportunities
class,
but
what
do
you
envision?
That's.
G
What
do
you
envision
the
opportunity
program
to
look
like?
I
know
that
miss
corbin
mentioned
opportunity
class,
but
when
we
developed
the
opportunity
program
years
ago
it
was
a
program.
It
was
off
site
away
from
the
school
site.
So.
O
We
are
actually
looking
to
bring
back
that
program.
That
was
here,
we
heard
from
staff
and
we're
also
working
with
melvin
davis,
who
we
believe
helped
help
to
bring
that
to
the
district
to
bring
that
back,
and
it
is
the
vision
is
that
it
would
be
off
campus
a
program,
a
full
program
for
the
students.
G
Great,
I
think
at
the
last
board
meeting
and
piggyback
on
what
trustee
webster
mentioned.
We
suspend
our
children
five
days.
They
go
home,
play
video
games,
they
have
fun
and
they
come
back
to
school
and
act
out
again.
D
G
E
G
I
really
would
like
to
see
data
from
each
school
site
and
I'm
glad
that
you
posted
the
middle
schools,
but
our
middle,
our
elementary
schools,
kids,
are
being
suspended
as
well.
So
I
would
like
to
see
that
data.
A
Okay,
I
just
had
a
quick
question
on
the
undercut
cover
and
anti-bold
bullying
team.
You
had
mint
mentioned
the
tar
target
of
bull
bullying
that
that
they
were
going.
Was
that,
like
the
actual,
like
the
kid
that's
being
bullied,
how.
V
Yes,
so
the
student
is
really
vitally
involved
after
they've
told
their
story
of
helping
to
recruit
those
students
that
they
feel
are
influential
in
their
classes.
Out
on
the
you
know,
the
quad
area,
and
so
they
would
make
some
student
recommendations
to
be
on
this
undercoverable
meeting
team.
A
I
A
Okay,
so
let
let's
go
on
to
eight
adopt
adoption
of
the
men
minutes.
8.001
approve,
as
writ
written
and
ordered
order,
filled
regular
board
meet
meeting
of
8
april
20
26
2022.
A
A
Does
n
any
trustee
want
to
pull
an?
I
item.
J
U
D
And
on
I
sent
dr
mitchell
an
email.
G
Today,
yesterday,
regarding
my
concerns-
and
he
said
that
you
would
get
that
information
to
us
today
did
did
we.
G
A
G
And
it
was
one
with
I
didn't
quote,
I
didn't
question
it,
but
it
was
with
the
I.t
service,
which
one
is
that
I
can't
see
that.
But
then.
U
J
D
H
That
one,
thankfully
all
of
the
ones
I
wanted
to
be
pulled,
have
been
pulled
now.
The
only
thing
trustee
webster
wants
to
request
as
a
short
bathroom
break
president
vince.
A
Hold
on
love
french,
do
you
need
and
anything
pulled.
C
U
A
Okay,
why
why
don't
we
take
a
short
three
four
minute
mid
minute
break,
so
we
can
go
use
the
red
restroom.
The
time
is
7
20.,
we'll
see
you
back
at
7,
25.
F
A
Okay,
it
is
725
we're
all
back.
No,
the
french
is
not.
J
A
U
L
E
A
A
H
F
D
B
T
A
G
This
item,
because
you
know
I
was
looking
at
the
cost
of
the
retreats
and-
and
you
know-
and
that
was
one
of
my
questions
to
dr
mitchell
and
he
responded
that
he
asked
all
the
divisions
to
hold
a
retreat
off
site.
G
I
think
you
know
I'll
go
ahead
and
approve
it
for
this
year,
but
that
that
is
a
lot
of
money
if
every
department
is
sending
all
of
their
people
to
off-site
retreats
and
I'm
sure
that's
going
to
cut
into
our
budget
and
make
a
huge
impact.
Some
of
these
things
can
be
done
in
this
board
room
but,
like
I
said
it
wouldn't
be
fair
for
this
department
not
to
go
and
the
others
were
approved.
I
don't
know
how
to
sleep
by
me,
but.
G
H
J
I
Well,
for
us
the
board
to
discuss
it,
it
needs
to
be
agenda.
So,
are
you
yeah
the
board
for
the
board
to
have
a
discussion
on
an
item
as
a
board?
It
needs
to
be
agendized.
I
H
A
F
F
I
So
my
response
to
you
was
yes,
and
so
I
said
I
would
get
back
with
you.
The
number
of
buses,
so
mr
cross.
S
Yes,
we,
they
will
be
taking
two
buses
for
this
trip,
and
the
total
cost
is
556
dollars.
That
includes
staff
and
fuel
costs.
A
Ben's
eye
mo
motion
passes
five
zero
move
moving
on
to
9.05
some
summer
school
approval
of
ad
addition,
additional
transportation
to
cal
california
science
cent
center.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve.
A
G
This
item
too,
could
you
put
the
cost
of
this
this
this
trip
on
the
screen?
J
L
G
You
I'm
sorry,
if
approved
the
cost
of
this
study
trip
to
california.
Science
center
is
eleven
thousand
two
hundred
and
eighty
six
dollars,
and
that's
not
all
I
mean
because
if
you,
if
you
look
at
the
admired
quote,
it's
additional
cost
for
gas.
If
the
gas
prices
go
up,
my
question
was:
if
we
use
our
buses,
it
would
not
be
a
percentage
of
that
cost,
and
so
I
would
like
to
know
why
aren't
we?
G
Why
can't
we
use
our
buses
for
that
in
it
and
if
there's
not
enough
buses,
I
would
like
ed
meyer
to
switch
places.
Maybe
take
our
bus
run
here
in
the
high
desert
and
take
our
buses
down
the
hill
on
this
trip,
because
that's
just
too
much
money.
I
can't.
I
can't
see
that
I
want
our
kids
to
go,
but
twelve
thousand
dollars
for
two
days
for
a
summer
school
program.
I
To
our
district
office,
that's
per
the
cse
contract,
so
all
so
all
transportation
is
planned
by
our
transportation
department,
and
so
when
the
transportation
department
takes
in
requests,
they
will
determine
whether
or
not
it's
appropriate
for
our
buses
or
there
may
not
be
capacity
or
runs
or
anything
like
that.
So
they
will.
We
have
contracted
with
ed
meyer
for
the
last
two
years
because
we
do
not
have
the
drivers,
the
buses
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
So,
mr
krause,
any
other
details
you'd
like
that.
I
And
I
want
to
remind
the
board
that
these
all
of
our
summer
school
costs
were
coming
out
of
a
grant
that
expires
at
the
end
of
next
summer
and
so
and
that's
not
to
suggest
there
were
that
the
dollars
are
frivolous,
but
our
costs
are
very
similar
and
this
is
a
provide
a
summer
activity
for
our
kids
attending
summer
school.
So
it's
my
recommendation.
I
I
It's
two
sets
if
we
may
not
put
both
yeah,
so
it's
six
buses.
T
Of
a
shortage
of
bus
drivers,
I
have
mentioned
in
the
past
that
again
with
all
these
houses
being
built,
I
know
I'm
told
that
we
cannot
leave
flyers
in
the
office,
but
I
would
seriously
like
us
to
look
into
putting
either
flyers
on
their
front
doors
or
some
type
of
advertisement
on
the
road
showing
that
we
are
hiring
in
our
district.
T
These
people
are
moving
up
here
from
I
don't
know
down
the
hill
out
of
the
state,
whatever
they're
buying
these
houses
near
our
schools,
we
need
bus
drivers,
we
need
people,
these
people,
I'm
sure,
need
jobs
to
buy
these
houses
once
they
move
into
them.
So
I
think
it
would
be
in
our
best
interest
to
advertise
and
go
after
new
homeowners
to
see
if
they
would
be
interested
in
being
bus
drivers
in
our
local
school
districts.
T
The
other
thing
is:
I'm
still
hoping
one
day
for
that
nice
marquee
out
in
front
of
our
district
office.
Advertising
bus
drivers
wanted
and
yeah
it's
an
issue
and
it
needs
to
be
addressed
and
I'm
sure
there's
people
out
there
that
need
jobs.
I
believe
I
heard
on
the
radio
that
victor
college
is
doing
a
job
fair.
We
need
to
recruit
bus
drivers
at
all
costs
even
have
sub
ones
available.
So
I
don't
know
that's
my
suggestion.
A
Okay,
so
on
the
agenda
item,
I
would
like
to
say
that
you
know
I'm
I'm
50
50
years
old
and
I'm
going
to
be
51
one
in
june,
and
I
still
remember
the
field
trips
I
took
when
I
was
in
grade
school.
I
remember
go
going
to
an
aquarium.
I
remember
go
going
to
the
museum
of
science
and
tech
technology,
which
is
now
the
s
the
cal
california
science
center.
A
You
know
I
pers
personally
have
not
take
taken
my
own
kids
to
the
science
science
center.
You
know
I
missed
that
opportunity
to
trinity,
and
here
is
a
chance
for
the
disc
district
to
work
on
that
sel
send
those
kids
to
a
fun
place
where
they
will
learn
the
the
science
cent
centers
hands-on.
When
I
went
as
as
a
chaperone
I
held
like
a
hissing,
those
big
mad
madagas
gas
guard,
hissing
cockroach,
roaches
yeah,
the
kids
can
touch
things
play
thing.
A
G
I
would
just
like
to
say
one
thing:
you
know
I
and
I
I
don't
want
to
take
away
from
that,
and
I
know
it
will
be
a
great
study
trip
and
a
great
experience
for
students,
but
at
the
end
of
the
day
you
know
what
is
a
expanded
opportunity
program
grant
is
sometimes
some
of
these
things.
G
J
B
H
A
G
Item
I
was
looking
at
bmx
freestyle
team
they're
on
these
bicycles,
doing
all
kind
of
tricks.
G
I
So
the
contract
that
we
utilize
is
is
posted,
that's
what
we
use
and
secondly,
and
then
I
suggested
that
the
liability
is
kept
on
file
in
our
office,
and
so
it
did
ask
mr
krause
to
confirm
that
they
have
the
liability
insurance
on
file.
Mr
cross.
E
S
Yes,
every
organization
that
conducts
business
with
the
district,
there
is
a
hold
harmless
agreement
in
their
fingerprinting
requirements,
insurance
requirements
for
each
organization
that
they
have
to
provide
in
order
to
be
able
to
step
foot
on
our
district
property.
And
so
we
do
that
with
every
single
organization,
including
the
bmx
freestyle
team.
And
so
our
purchasing
department
does
a
great
job
in
making
sure
that
all
their
documents
are
in
place
before
they're
even
allowed
to
step
foot
on
the
property.
G
S
G
H
H
I
H
What
about
the
are
we
going
to
be
able
to
bring
this
this
team
in
during
the
regular
school
year,
so
all
of
our
students
have
that
advantage?
Yes,.
I
Bmx
has
been
used
at
a
number
of
our
sites
this
year,
so
certainly
this
is
not
the
first
time
that
they've
been
on
our
campus,
but
we
will
continue
to
use
them.
They
do
a
great
program,
they
do
an
anti-bullying
message
and
a
self-esteem
message,
plus
the
kids
get
to
see
them,
do
some
really
cool
stuff
on
their
bikes
and
so
we'll
continue
to
utilize
bmx.
That
has
had
a
great
reputation
for
great
assemblies
for
many
years.
H
I
G
G
I
Our
teachers
and
district
office
staff
and
cabinet
we
utilize
zoom
for
a
lot
of
parent-teacher
conferences,
sometimes
meetings
with
people
across
across
the
world
and
so
zoom
has
very
much
become
embedded
into
our
daily
operations.
In
fact,
most
of
my
day
is
a
hybrid
of
in-person
and
zone
meetings,
and
so
this
is
to
renew
our
license
for
our
full
district
to
continue
to
utilize
them.
C
I
I
No,
we
can't
do
it,
I'm
not
another
license
that
we
have
as
an
organization
so
but
we're
happy
to
look
into
that.
But
I
also
just
wanted
to
address
the
second
part
of
your
question:
trustee
love,
friendship,
we're
not
trying
to
prohibit
parents
but
like
when
we
have
district
meetings,
we're
finding
it
that
have
have
people
having
the
ability
to
have
a
zoom
has
has
been
very,
very
helpful
to
us,
and
so
we
we
are
encouraging
parents
to
staff
to
you,
know
meet
with
parents
in
person
and
so
and
so
forth.
I
C
A
Bentz
ben's
eye
mo
motion
path
passes
four
one
go
going
on
to
9.08
approval
of
rin
renew
newell
quote
with
dot
dot,
hub
electronics,
sig
signature
software
for
100
you
users
at
a
cost
of
5
988
dollars.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve
that.
G
My
question
was:
please
provide
a
renewal
contract.
This
screenshot
is
not
acceptable
again.
When,
when
I,
I
really
feel
that
if
the
information
the
attached
information
is
more
complete,
then
you
won't
get
all
these
agenda
items
pulled
like.
We
can't
approve
that.
I
can't
even
read
that.
Do
we
have
an
invoice
or
do
we
have.
I
No,
we
we
attempted
to
get
one
we
can.
We
can
certainly
table
this
to
the
next
meeting
and
I
agree
with
you
trustee
turner.
Obviously
you
know
how
important
board
docs
is
to
our
district,
we're
all
doing
electronics
signatures
and
we
want
to
continue
that,
but
absolutely
correct.
I
We
can
do
a
better
presentation
than
this,
so
we'll
table
it
and
bring
it
back.
G
I
Yeah
so
some
of
these
don't
have
contracts,
and
so
what
I'm
happy
to
do
is
we
we're
just
standardly
saying
renew
contract,
but
sometimes
just
renew
invoice
or
a
new
agreement.
So
we
will
correct
that
language
because
I
think
it's
giving
you
the
false
impression
that
everything
is
a
contract
like,
for
example,
there
is
no
contract
for
hub,
it's
just
a
subscription.
So
it's
like
renew
the
subscription
instead
of
saying
renew
the
contract,
so
we're
happy
to
address
that
language
and
happy
to
bring
back
a
better
copy
of
this
invoice.
Thanks.
G
Okay
and
the
reason
why,
as
you
know
earlier
in
the
year,
you
know
when
we're
given
a
contract
and
my
concern
is
we
don't
get
what
we
the
board,
agreed
to
based
on
what
the
contract
says.
So
if
we
don't
have
a
contract
and
we
approve
and
renew
one,
then
we
may
not
be
getting
what
we
are
supposed
to
be
getting.
So
that's
why
I
would
like
to
see
a
contract
if
we've
been
doing
a
contract.
A
G
G
F
H
You
know
doc
hub,
I
understand,
is
something
that
we've
used
pretty
regularly,
but
at
the
same
time,
is
there
any
way
to
research
and
make
sure
that
this
is
like
the
best
electrical
signature
software
that
we
could
get?
You
know
I
know
that
they
have
docusign
with
adobe
and
a
few
other
options,
so
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we
are
reviewing
these
contracts
and
still
making
sure
that
we
have
the
latest
the
best
and
the
most
efficient
softwares
for
our
teachers
and
our
d.o.
B
It
or
can
we
just
so
madame
president,
we
did
a
motion
by
trustee
eckerson,
the
second
by
trustee
turner
to
approve,
so
I
do
need
a
substitute
motion
that
it's
being
moved
and
second
to
go
ahead
and
table
this
item
for
next
time.
B
G
A
I
I
We
did
initially,
but
because
we've
installed
it
at
all
of
our
schools
and
been
using
analyzing
it
for
the
last
couple
years
we
want
to
renew
this
is
a
this
is
a
staff's
recommendation.
G
Okay,
do
they
add
any
new
technology,
because
is
this
this?
Could
you
go
back.
E
G
The
invoice
I
I
remember
rapture-
do
they
have
any
new
technology?
Are
we
getting
the
same
thing?
What
what
this
is
not
telling
us
anything.
S
Yes,
whenever
the
technology
is
updated,
they
replace
our
machines
with
the
new,
updated
machines
for
all
of
our
front
offices
that
are
utilized
when
visitors
come
to
our
site.
G
S
Oh
yes,
absolutely
in
fact,
in
this
past
year,
they've
updated
their
scanning
machines
to
state-of-the-art,
very
easy
to
use
and
and
they
train
our
staff
and
then
our
it
staff
also
are
trained
on
how
to
train
our
staff.
If
there's
ever
any
questions
or
like
if
the
staff
in
the
front
office
are
are
switched
out
for
any
reason,
then
they
get
trained
on
it
as
well.
D
Okay,
so
they
update
the
equipment
like
what
yearly
or
whenever.
D
S
Not
with
subscriptions,
they
do
not.
They
usually
come
in
the
format,
as
you
see
here
in
the
in
the
format
of
an
invoice
for
a
renewal
quote,
because
we
already
have
all
the
devices
and
we
have
all
of
the
printing
paper
and
things
of
that
nature.
It's
just
a
matter
of
the
subscription
itself,
because
it's
internet
based.

and
998.44

to

from

Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve.
E
A
H
H
Can
you
give
me
a
little
bit
more
explanation?
Why
we're
paying
300
000
to
a
company
instead
of
hiring
our
own
people
in-house.
I
Yes,
I'm
happy
to
trustee
webster.
Unfortunately,
we
have
some
personal
issues
I
can't
share
publicly,
but
the
basic
personnel
question
is
that
you
can't
fill
a
position
that
someone
is
still
in,
and
so
when
we
had
the
the
issues
that
we've
had
this
year,
we
had
to
contract
out
to
provide
immediate
support
when
we
make
when
we
take
some
personal
actions,
and
so
just
as
much
as
I
can
say
publicly,
but
that's
the
long
and
short
of
it.
I
I
State
of
california
any
longer
and
they
were
going
to
they
initially
planned
on
pulling
out
this
month.
This
contract,
we
employ
three
full-time
staff
from
red
river.
We
have
three
full-time
staff
that
work
every
day.
They
have
been
working
every
day
for
the
whole
year,
and
so
this
contract
extends
this
these
these
these
workers
for
one
more
month
through
the
end
of
june,
to
get
us
through
the
end
of
the
year.
I
I
There
are
other
services,
it's
not
just
the
people,
but
that's
what
we've
been
paying
all
year,
trustee
butcher,
and
so
this
is
just
consistent
with
that.
We
can't
afford
to
lose
the
support
that
we're
getting
in
that
last
month
of
school,
especially
as
we
transition
into
summer
school.
J
G
G
Not
a
lot
of
information,
saying
it'll,
give
us
an
additional
960
hours
and,
and
it
basically
said,
but
it
had
more
hours.
I.
S
I
This
really
should
read
as
an
amendment,
and
so
we
we,
we
gotta
title
our
things
a
little
bit
better
but
but
but,
as
you
know,
board
we've
been
severely
impacted
in
rit
department.
We've
had
three
staff
members
that
are
work
for
red
river
that
have
helped
us
to
backfill
some
vacancies
and
openings
that
we've
had
through
some
personnel
and
so
we're
we're
asking
the
board
to
approve
another
month
for
this
work.
Thank
you.
G
And
I
understand
that-
and
I
know
that
our
iot
department
is
it's
very
important
to
us
to
keep
us
conducting
business.
However,
when
I
don't
see
in
order
for
the
board
to
make
intelligent
decisions
and
intelligent
take
action,
we
we're
looking
at
an
imports.
It's
not
telling
us
much,
you
know,
and
so
I'm
just
asking
for
more
information
on
the
agenda
item.
Otherwise,
you're
going
to
get
a
lot
of
the
consent
pulled
and
if
it's
not,
we
just
can't
go
based
on
what
what's
here,
we
need
to
know
what
they're
doing.
G
T
I
have
a
question:
I
can't
see
it
right
now,
but
on
the
agenda
somewhere
we're
supposed
to
approve
some
company
to
update
or
set
up
our.
What
are
those
things,
those
chromebooks
for
our
summer
school?
Are
we
gonna
use
red
river,
or
can
we
instead
of
this
other
company
since
we're
paying
them
so
much.
I
No,
we
would
we
would.
We
would
do
this
other
company
anyways,
it's
just
a
faster
setup.
We
have
a
fast
turnaround
so
instead
of
having
kids
bring
their
potentially
broken
or
not
working
chromebooks
from
different
sites
to
the
schools,
we're
paying
this
company
to
set
up
summer
school
devices
for
them
right
away,
we
lack
the
capacity
internally
to
do
that,
and
so
we
would
have
hired
this
company
anyway,
we're
paying
it
out
of
summer
school
dollars.
F
A
Motion:
pap
houses,
3-2,
okay,
go
going
on
to
nine
point.
Eleven
levin
approve
approval
of
the
ren
renewal,
quote
of
the
great
greater
high
dez
desert
chain
chamber
of
com,
commerce
at
the
cost
of
975
dollars.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve.
T
T
We
either
went
with
superintendents
or
alone,
and
I
gotta
say
since
the
last
two
years
since
covet
and
stuff.
I
know
some
of
them
are
having
meetings,
and
I
know
I
haven't
been
to
any
of
them.
I
didn't
know
about
any
of
them
and
again
I
would
like
the
board
to
have
memberships,
and
it
says
here
I
think
we're
approving
91
memberships.
I
Boards,
this
is
a
board
membership
and
executive
cabinet
membership,
and
so
yes,
the
high
desert,
has
been
meeting
typically,
I
go
mr
cross
goals
all
the
time,
and
so
certainly
we'll
have
we'll
give
you
those
dates
and
we
have
in
the
past
and
so
we'll
make
sure
that
we
give
you
some
reminders
when
those
meetings
are.
But
this
is
a
district
membership.
S
Thank
you
for
that
question,
so
that
is
the
tier
level
that
the
chamber
of
commerce
determines.
So
we
are
91
plus
employees,
and
so
it
doesn't
matter
as
long
as
we're
over
91.
We
get
it
at
that
rate.
If
we
were
under
91,
then
it
would
be
a
cheaper
renewal
rate,
but
because
we
have
over
close
to
1200
employees,
they
give
us
that
91
plus
rate.
T
A
D
T
Okay,
I
pulled
this
item
because
I
know
nothing
about
it.
I
wasn't
given
any
information
on
it.
All
I
know
is
we
are
approving
an
agreement
with
this
group
for
five
thousand
dollars
without
any
further
information,
and
I'm
assuming
this
information
is
confidential
and
again
it
is
kind
of
helpful
to
have
a
closed
session
before
we
go
into
all
this
stuff,
so
we
can
have
better
understanding
on
what
we're
voting
on.
T
So
I
really
don't
know
how
we're
going
to
be
able
to
approve
this
without
knowing
specifics
and
I'm
thinking
me,
we
either
need
to
table
this
or
if
the
board's
pleasure
is
to
go
ahead
and
approve
something
that
they
don't
know
about,
or
maybe
they
do,
I'm
just
letting.
You
know
that
not
all
board
members
at
least
me-
do
not
know
what
this
is
about.
I
I
That's
that's
great,
is
so
you're
saying
tables
after
board
after
the
closed
session
and
then
continue
to
vote.
Thank
you
so
much
appreciate
it.
A
Okay,
so
we
we
need
a
mo
motion
to
tape,
table.
F
T
A
T
S
Mr
crouse,
yes,
thank
you
so
project
support
services
is
the
company
the
board
approved
to
help
close
out
with
dsa
division
of
state
architect,
projects
that
have
been
open
for
about
20
years,
and
so
that's
who's
been
assisting
us
with
closing
out
those
projects
with
the
division
of
state
architects.
H
Perfect:
okay,
on
page
four
of
the
po
report,
it
looks
like
psycho
psychologist
supplies
and
the
amount
of
six
thousand
and
some
change
another
one
for
seven
thousand
and
some
change
and
then
yeah
those
two
can
you
offer
some
insight
to
what
those
charges
are
for.
I
I
Those
are
psychologists,
assessed
special
education
students
with
with
a
bunch
of
different
psychological
batteries
and
those
the
kits
are
very
expensive.
I
L
E
H
Yeah
I
had
kind
of
mentioned
this
prior.
I
I'm
going
to
mention
that
again,
the
xerox
corporation,
have
we
reviewed
this
contract?
Have
we
looked
at
alternative
copying
companies
recently
kind
of
price
scale?
It
see
what
we
can
do
find
a
company.
That's
a
little
bit
more
stable
any
of
the
following.
Mr.
S
Krabs,
yes,
so
with
major
contracts
like
this,
we
have
to
go
out
to
bid
and
then
the
board
approves
the
company
with
the
lowest
bid.
At
that
time
it
was
xerox
and
until
that
contract's
up,
we
can't
go
back
out
to
bid
again
and
that's
at
what
point
we
will
look
at
alternatives
for
the
company,
but
at
this
time
and
I'll
be
more
than
happy
to
get
back
to
dr
mitchell
with
when
that
contract
ends,
so
he
can
get
back
to
the
board.
Thank
you.
H
On
the
warrant
list,
page
three
there's
a
tr
trucks
apollo
servers
for
the
do
for
44
000..
Can
you
give
me
some
insight
on
that?
Mr
cross.
S
Trucks
is
one
of
the
companies
that,
when
our
servers,
we
have
a
server
room
here
at
the
do.
Each
individual
site
has
a
server
a
mini
server
room
so
to
speak,
and
when
those
servers
go
down
where
they're
about
to
go
down,
we
have
to
replace
them
with
new
servers,
and
so
trox
is
one
of
our
vendors
that
our
I.t
department
use
has
utilized
and
continues
to
utilize
their
great
partners
with
our
I.t
department
to
help
us
with
our
server
needs.
H
S
Mr
kraus,
yes,
thank
you,
so
we
have
to
pay
a
certain
percentage
into
the
unemployment
pot
at
sacramento,
and
so
they
bill
us
depending
on
how
many
employees
file
for
unemployment-
and
it
fluctuates
year
to
year
month,
to
month,
quarter
to
quarter
again
depending
on
how
many
employees
file
for
unemployment.
H
Okay,
perfect,
thank
you
so
much,
and
I
think
oh
yes
and
then
the
last
one.
I
promise
I'm
so
sorry
on
the
warrant
list:
page
12,
the
all
city
management
services,
the
crossing
guards.
We
have
a
ten
thousand
and
eleven
thousand
and
a
five
thousand
charge
for
crossing
guard
services.
I
I
People
are,
people
are,
are
open
to
apply
for
that
job.
J
I
F
T
My
question
on
the
crossing
guards:
I
understand:
victorville
pays
half,
but
atlanta
does
not.
I
I
A
A
A
G
Agenda
item
I
pulled
it
because
it
didn't
make
sense.
It
said
that
this
agenda
item
is
for
18
asb
students
and
one
teacher
and
dr
mitchell
answered
the
question,
but
did
we
allocate
for
the
additional
teachers
because
they
wanted
to
use
two
vans?
But
one
teacher
going
so
my
question
was
who's
driving
the
other
van
yeah.
I
So,
thank
you.
I
apologize
for
the
lack
of
clarity
on
this
and
so
trustee
turner.
I
understand
your
concerns
here
and
we'll
we'll
get
better
at
that,
but
we
do
have
two
teachers
that
will
be
driving
the
vans
and
so
it'll
be
a
total
of
three
three
chaperones
you
did
ask
for.
You
did
ask
for
the
cost
of
the
gas.
Mr
krause.
S
Yes,
thank
you,
so
our
all
of
our
vans
hold
up
to
25
gallons
of
gas
and
they
get
15
miles
to
the
gallon,
and
so
one
tank
will
get
us
375
miles,
and
that
is
enough
to
get
us
to
universal
and
back,
which
is
only
184
miles
round
trip
and
the
estimated
cost
of
fuel.
We
took
the
gallons
about
5.49,
although
it's
rising
times,
25
gallons
and
our
estimated
cost
for
this
trip
is
about
138
dollars.
Okay,.
G
So
we've
already
also
allocated
for
those
extra
teachers
to
get
tickets
into
the
universal
studio
right.
I
T
I
just
wanted
to
make
a
comment.
Thank
you
for
using
the
vans.
This
is
awesome.
This
is
what
they
were
meant
for.
This
is
what
they
were
bought
for.
It
makes
me
sad
to
see
them
all
piled
up
sitting
back
there
not
being
used.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
I
want
to
see
more
schools
using
them.
That's
again,
that's
what
they're
for
it's
cheaper
and
it
is
able
to
get
these
kids
out
to
do
a
whole
lot
more,
so
I
just
wanted
to
give
kudos
to
kathy
there.
Thank
you.
D
B
A
A
D
G
Again,
I
was
asking
about
the
transportation
because
of
gas
and
parking
is
that
included
in
the
fee.
I
It
is,
and
I
also
asked
mr
cross
to
calculate
that
gas
cost
ms
krauss.
S
Yes
again,
they're
taking
the
a
similar
van
and
which
gets
375
miles
round
trip
full
tank,
and
this
trip
is
only
159
miles
round
trip,
so
they
will
not
have
to
fill
up
at
all.
They
can
go
down
and
back
and
the
cost
is
about
138
to
fill
up
the
tank
with
25
gallons.
A
I'm
motion
passes
five:
zero,
zero
move,
moving
on
to
9.9
19
renewal
of
the
retainer
agreement
with
the
tight
titan
empire
prior
inc,
dba,
the
thai
titan
group
for
the
2022-2023
school
year.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve.
T
I
So
so
so
bored,
this
is
a
renewal
of
investigative
services
when
we
have
sensitive
items
to
investigate
in
terms
of
employees,
employee
misconduct
this
particularly
that
involves
students
we
contract
out
with
this
outside
investigator,
because
it
basically
creates
a
third-party
independent
investigator,
as
opposed
to
our
own
staff
investigating,
and
so
we
refer
sensitive
issues
or
or
criminal
issues
or
or
issues
that
are
beyond
our
capacity
to
investigate
for
misconduct
of
staff,
and
so
this
is
a
renewal,
and
so
this
is
not
to
exceed
amount
of
150.
I
If
we
don't
utilize
it,
we
don't
use
it,
they
don't
charge
us
unless
they,
unless
we
activate
them.
I
No,
not
at
all
all
items
that
we
use
any
investigative
service.
We
I
talk
to
you
to
the
board
in
closed
session
about
those
items.
I
The
five
thousand
dollar
amount
that
you're
talking
about
is
is
a
very
different
item
and
I
think
that's
very
appropriate
to
talk
about
and
close
this
item
like
and
I
could
I
don't
want
to
go
through
the
list
of
things,
but
you've
heard
every
single
thing
that
they've
been
involved
with
this
year
and
all
we're
asking
is
to
renew
them
since
they're
in
place
in
case
an
incident
occurs.
Thank
you.
T
H
Just
a
quick
question:
I
promise
so
with
this
renewal
we
pay
them
per
situation,
we
don't
pay
them
yearly.
I
No,
it's
a
renewal,
so
it's
so
it's
like
a
a
retainer
just
like
we
do
with
our
lawyers.
It's
like
it's
a
retainer
so
like.
I
I
Yeah
boy
I've
been
very
consistent
with
giving
you
a
heads
up.
There
is
nothing
that
you
don't
know
about
the
minute
it
happens,
and
then
I
tell
you
board,
I'm
I'm
engaging
the
services
of
titan
I've.
I've
told
you
I've.
I've
advised
you
that,
and
we
can
talk
more
about
it,
but
certainly
this
is
just
a
renewal
and
a
retainer.
Thank
you.
Okay,.
A
Eye
mo
motion
pass
passes.
Four
one:
okay
go
going
on
to
9.20
extra
dude
duty
assignments.
I
need
a
mo
motion
to
approve.
T
I
pulled
this
item
because
I
do
not
believe
our
district
needs
a
p
ip.
This
was
a
job
that
was
added.
I
don't
feel
it's
necessary.
We've
had
one
over
the
years.
It
never
really
produced
any
fruit.
T
It's
just.
I
think
it's
just
one
of
those
jobs
in
the
do
that
can
be
eliminated
and
save
our
district
a
whole
lot
of
money.
I
do
understand
that
this
person
is
just
doing
extra
duty,
filling
in
until
the
board
decides
to
hire
another
one.
So
with
that
being
said
again,
I
don't
even
want
a
pi
in
our
district
again
big
money,
saving
for
our
district.
So
that's
why
I
pulled
this,
so
I
could
vote
separately
on
it.
Thank
you.
I
Thank
you
just
some
background,
so
the
board
approved
for
me
to
post
the
public
information
officer
is
flying
now
and
yvonne
has
been
gracious
enough
to
just
just
continue
our
social
media
presence
until
we
make
another
hire
so
she's,
simply
just
posting
great
news
across
the
district
and
so
we're
we're
thankful
that
she's
just
pitching
in.
Thank
you.
D
G
G
I
was
going
to
pull
this
one
then
I
said
I
had
too
many
thoughtful.
What
is
yvonne's
title
and
what
is
her
salary
to
get
a
five
percent
monthly
raise.
K
G
Again,
we
have
to
make
these
more
complete,
so
we
can
make
a
decision
on
these.
J
B
Trustee
eckers
nate
trusteela,
french
aye
trustee
turner.
J
A
Benz
ben's
eye
mo
motion
pat
passes
three
two,
two,
okay,
go
going
on
to
nine
point.
Two
four
accept
acceptance
of
classified
employee,
res
resignation,.
H
There
we
go
okay.
The
reason
I
wanted
to
discuss
this
is
over
the
last
couple
board
meetings.
We've
been
seeing
a
lot
of
resignations
retirements
and
I
was
curious.
Are
we
doing
exit
interviews?
Are
we
collecting
the
data
to
why
and
where
our
employees
are
moving
on
to.
K
C
K
C
Do
we
have
like
a
questionnaire
on
like?
Were
you
happy
here?
Did
you
like
your
salary?
Did
you
like
your
boss?
Do
we
have
a
question
here.
C
I
Yeah
we're
happy
to
put
that
in.
I
also
want
the
board
to
realize
too
the
types
of
positions
that
are
residing
they're.
Typically,
the
the
high
high
turnover
positions,
cns,
proctors
and
then
you'll
see
so
we,
but
we
certainly
will
we'll
start
survey,
but
I
also
want
to
want
you
to
know
that
we
have
to
look
at
the
types
that
are
residing
as
well.
I
K
Yes,
so
again
I
with
me
starting
a
year
ago.
I
was
not
sure
so
I
know
staff
does
that
I'll?
Let
me
check
with
staff,
because
I
know
staff
does
certificated
yes,
certificated
and
classified.
D
G
Okay,
well,
this
is
certificate.
This
is
classified.
H
I
I
To
confirm
that
we
have
it
in
place
and
we're
happy
to
improve
the
process
for
the
board's
direction.
Thank
you.
H
A
G
J
A
Okay,
okay,
we're
open
for
discussion
discussion.
I
pull
pulled
this
because
I
must
abstain
from
the
vote.
So,
as
my
son
is
on
the
list.
F
A
G
Have
these
dates
been
verified
to
make
sure
because
the
regular
meeting
you
cannot
change
regular
meetings?
Yes,.
G
So
we've
looked
at
our
calendars:
we've
looked
at
days
that
we're
not
going
to
be
here
or
we're
out,
and
these
meetings
are
verifiable.
I
If
I
could
answer
that
question
so
board,
thank
you
for
considering
this
tonight
xenia
and
the
staff
and
has
worked
super
hard.
We've
looked
at
all
holiday
calendars,
our
school
calendars
vacations
we've
tried
to
avoid
days
where
we're
off
the
week
before
board
meeting,
because
it's
exceptionally.
S
I
For
staff
to
be
off
the
before
a
board
meeting,
we
tried
to
avoid
three
day,
weekends
and
and
and
we
even
changed
the
board
meeting
that
landed
on
february
14th,
just
in
case
folks,
were
being
romantic
that
night,
so
we
want
to
avoid
some
major
stuff
and
hot
three-day
holidays,
and
so
this
is
this
is
a
this
has
been
thoroughly
vetted
and
so
we're
hoping
that
you
board
we're
happy
to
take
any
questions
about
any
particular
days.
Thank
you.
A
I
I
Yeah
that's
hard
for
us
to
do
because
the
next
week
is
fall
break
in
october.
I
Yeah,
absolutely
the
next
week
is
fall
break,
and
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
have
two
board
meetings
in
october
and
the
only
way
to
do
that
is
to
do
that
through
the
following
week.
So
that
brings
two
back-to-back
board
meetings,
but
that's
the
only
back-to-back
board
meeting
and
that's
only
because
of
the
fall
break.
G
Okay,
so
my
question
is
on
december
13th,
the
annual
reorganization
meeting.
Is
it
falling
in
the
ed
code,
yeah.
J
A
I
It's
tough
to
be
back
for
back
to
back
for
staff.
We
try
to
avoid
that
it's
extremely
hard
to
prepare
for
the
board
beings
when
they're
weak
apart,
but
we
also
want
to
have
this
few
months
where
we
only
have
one
board
meeting,
because
those
items
stack
up.
So
we
have
one
board
meeting
in
december
one
board
meeting
in
january.
We
didn't
want
to
do
that
in
october
as
well.
A
I
Absolutely
I
have
a
calendar
trustee
webster.
I
want
to
present
at
the
next
board
meeting
to
propose
some
workshops
to
go
deeper
with
academic
services
and
pbis
and
the
resets
that
we're
doing
as
well
as
budget
workshop
going
into
the
summer.
It's
gonna
be
a
big
budget
year
for
our
district,
so
we're
gonna
spend
some
time
on
the
budget
as
well
as
spend
some
time
on
our
academic
and
disciplinary
systems
that
we're
developing
so
I'll
bring.
Some
proposed
dates
to
the
board.
On
the
next
board.
Me.
A
J
I
I
A
G
Okay,
we're
gonna
have
to
move
this
to
come
back
after
because
we
have
to
approve
the
management
schedule
before
we
can
do
this.
F
J
A
Okay,
so
let's
now
now
tape
take
me
table
it.
So
we
have
to
amend
the
motion
to
tape
bullet.
A
A
Open
for
discussion,
we
need
a
discussion.
Would.
D
A
F
A
A
This
is
the
appro
approval
of
the
update
dated
sir
certificated.
A
G
These
should
be
separated
in
the
agenda
item
and
it
should
go
back
and
say
when
it's
going
back
to
what
negotiation
year
2021
2022.
So
this
should
be
effective
july.
1St
2020
number.
I
G
G
And
and
and
adta
is
certificated
and
and
csea
is
classified
so
there's
two
different
bargaining
units.
They
never
should
be
grouped
together,
like
that.
I
U
U
G
I
have
a
question:
will
the
pool
be
up
and
running
this
summer.
S
At
this
time,
not
this
coming
summer,
but
with
the
hiring
or
the
approval
of
a
con
construction
management
firm
this
evening,
they
will
assist.
The
next
step
would
be
to
hire
an
architect.
We
have
an
rfp,
getting
ready
to
go
out
for
that
and
they'll
work
with
our
construction
management
firm
to
create
the
bid
and
our
legal
counsel
that
will
go
out
for
a
construction
company
to
renovate
the
pool,
and
the
goal
is
to
have
it
done
and
up
and
running
spectacularly
by
next
summer,
if
not
before,.
G
D
D
T
Yeah
I
had
a
couple
first
of
all,
as
a
board
member,
I
didn't
even
know
there
was
anything
wrong
with
our
pool
I
haven't
seen
photos
there
hasn't
been
any
discussion
with
the
board.
I
have
no
idea
or
didn't
have
any
idea.
Anything
was
wrong
with
it.
I
know
we
put
a
lot
of
money
into
it
several
years
ago
to
my
understanding,
ajay
our
past
cbo
ordered
a
new
pump
for
it
and
it
had
to
be
special
ordered.
I
mean
I've
got
no
update.
T
I
know
nothing
about
the
pool
again
have
not
had
any
discussion,
no
photos,
no
nothing.
My
other
problem
is
I've.
Never
heard
of
us
ever
hiring
a
construction
project
manager.
We
always
just
went
right
to
the
source.
We
would
go
right
to
the
company
and
have
them
fix
or
do
whatever
they
needed
to
do
to
hire
a
middleman
for
our
pool,
and
if
I
remember
correctly,
there's
no
money
estimate
attached
to
this
person.
T
I
don't
feel
comfortable
approving
a
project
manager
without
having
a
price
tag
attached
to
them.
I
understand
that
it's
going
to
be
a
cost
to
be
determined
at
a
later
date,
but
again
hiring
somebody
or
making
that
position
without
a
price
tag.
I
don't
know
that
that
kind
of
doesn't
sit
well
with
me
anyway.
Those
are
my
comments
and
concerns.
I
And
thank
you
trustee
eckers
just
to
address
the
first
part
of
the
question.
I've
talked
about
the
pool
both
publicly
and
an
open
session,
as
well
as
through
several
of
my
board
reports
about
the
pool
and
renovation.
I
The
boards
asked
me
to
renovate
the
pool,
so
we
could
make
it
available
for
kids
to
swim
in
and
use
and,
and
so
we've
had
the
discussion,
both
in
open
session
as
well
as
I've
updated
the
board
about
the
poll
being
down.
A
I
Because
of
the
because
it
was,
we
were
using
salt
water,
so
I'll
turn
it
over
to
mr
krauss
and
give
some
details
thanks.
S
Yes,
thank
you
for
your
question.
In
the
normal
state
of
construction,
we
have
to
bring
on
a
construction
management
firm.
We
do
not
have
any
internal
facilities,
people
in
the
district.
I
don't
believe
we
ever
really
have
that
have
been
able
to
maintain
a
project
like
this
that
we're
anticipating
a
multi-million
dollar
bid
when
it
goes
out
and
when
that
bid
comes
in
then
the
contract
construction
management
firm.
S
In
order
to
get
our
ducks
in
a
row,
we
have
to
bring
on
a
construction
management
firm
which
will
facilitate
all
of
the
processes
with
the
architect,
with
our
legal
counsel,
with
a
general
contractor
once
it
goes
out
to
bid
their
cost
will
come
back
to
the
board
for
approval
you're,
just
approving
them
as
the
project
manager.
This
evening
they
will
not
get
paid
until
they
produce
a
cost
at
which
time,
when
the
bid
is
done,
so
the
bid
could
be
two
million
dollars
and
they'll
base
their
cost
on
that
the
construction
cost.
T
Okay
in
the
past,
I
know
a
lot
of
you
are
new.
Our
our
bidding
was
done
through
the
through
the
cbo's
office
and
they
did
all
the
bidding
and
all
that
and
then
they
brought
to
us,
the
recommendation
of
who
was
the
lowest
bid.
Also
saint
mary's
used
to
always
give
us
money
to
refurbish
our
pools.
They
had
grant
money
and
it
was
part
of
their
program
to
have
healthy
communities
and
they've
always
been
a
big
partner
with
us
when
it
came
to
the
pool
again,
I
know
a
lot
of
you
are
new.
T
You
may
not
know
this,
but
I
would
reach
out
to
them
and
ask
them
if
they're
still
interested
in
helping
us
with
that,
if
they
still
have
that
grant
money,
if
they're
still
involved
in
that,
and
again
like
I
said
we,
our
business
office,
would
do
our
our
bidding
so
again
to
hire
an
a
person
or
an
outside
firm.
That
is
very
foreign
to
me.
I
don't
ever
remember
the
board
ever
doing
stuff
like
that
hiring
project
managers.
Again,
we
would
have
a
bid
done
again.
T
I
noticed
that
you
brought
to
us
several
people,
companies
and
the
board
would
would
pick
one
of
them
if
the
if
the
cbo
department
would
tell
us,
you
know
which
one's
the
lowest
bid
or
whatever
the
board
would
choose
which
one.
So
I
don't
know,
that's
that's
a
little
history
for
you.
I
don't
know
if
times
have
changed
and
we're
doing
things
different,
but
it
sounds
a
little
bit
more
expensive
to
do
with
the
way
this
is
set
up.
G
And
not
only
that
the
person
that
was
selected
would
come
and
do
a
presentation
to
the
board
of
what
they
would
do.
I
haven't
seen
any
presentations
on
anything
you
know,
and
especially
the
pool
to
talk
about
what
we're
looking
at
again.
Holly
is
right.
We
thought
that
the
pool
before
the
pandemic,
the
pool
should
have
been
working.
I
do
remember
a
conversation
about
the
water
type
salt,
water
versus
whatever
that
was,
but
you
know
not
enough
discussion
about
this
and
I
would
have
loved
the
presentation.
S
If
I
may,
I
appreciate
your
comments:
trustee
turner
and
trusty
accus
bottom
line
for
a
company
like
this.
There
are
eyes
and
ears
to
monitor
the
construction
that
goes
on,
because
we
don't
have
staff
to
be
out
in
the
field
every
day,
watching
the
construction
company,
and
so
what
they'll
do
is
do
that
for
us
and
just
so
trusty
eckis,
all
of
our
bidding
does
go
through
our
purchasing
department.
S
They
help
us
in
conjunction
with
our
legal
counsel
and
so
by
approving
a
company,
and
we
have
some
representatives
this
evening
in
the
audience
that
came
from
cpm
in
case
there
was
any
questions
about
the
services
they
provide,
but
once
we
get
that
bid
once
we
go
out
to
bid
and
the
bids
come
back,
the
lowest
bid
will
be
the
one
that
the
board
would
be
would
be
coming
before
the
board
for
approval
and
again
we're
anticipating
multi-million
dollars
on
this,
and
it
comes
at
a
fun
40.
S
So
there's
no
impact
to
the
general
fund.
That's
our
facilities,
capital
facilities,
fund
fund
40
that
can
only
be
used
for
facilities.
T
Okay,
so
again,
you're
saying
millions
of
dollars
can
we
see
photos,
I
mean
how
bad
a
shape
is
it
do
I
need
to
come
this
week
and
go
check
it
out,
because
last
I
knew
it
was
in
pretty
decent
shape.
I
it
sounds
like
it's
a
total
disaster
back
there
and
I'm
it's
it's
not
that
deep.
It's
not
that
big.
T
I'm
I'm
really
confused
on
this
one,
and
so
I
would
love
to
see
photos
or
have
somebody
give
me
a
tour
of
the
pool
because,
again
like
I
am
under
the
understanding,
it
wasn't
that
bad
of
shape
and
if
it
is
in
really
bad
shape,
did
did
people
vandalize
it
did
they
come
in
and
break
things.
I
mean
it's
just
a
square.
I
think
four
foot
pool
I'm
just
not
understanding.
I
know
pools
are
expensive
and
people
are
buying
them
for
like
fifty
thousand
dollars.
T
C
I'd
like
to
take
that
tour
too,
I'm
so
confused,
I
don't
understand
the
pool
was
needing
a
pump
and
then
we
were
going
to
open
it
and
then
the
pandemic
has
come.
Nobody
has
done
anything
with
it.
Then
when
summertime
comes
and
it's
time
for
our
children
to
use
it,
they
still
can
use
it,
and
maybe
I
that
went
over
my
head
about
the
salt
water
and
this
that
and
the
other,
but
it
does
seem
like
it
is
quite
gonna,
be
quite
expensive.
A
A
S
That
is
correct.
The
the
main
issue
is
the
salt
water.
So
at
some
point,
when
the
pool
was
there,
it
was
fresh
water
and
that
doesn't
corrode
pipes,
but
at
some
point
it
became
salt,
water
and
so
all
of
the
internal
pipes
to
the
pump
house
around
the
pool
under
the
pool
have
corroded
a
lot
of
the
parts
have
corroded
a
lot
of
the
structure.
The
concrete
has
really
corroded
from
the
salt,
and
so
it's
a
pretty
extensive
job.
S
We
hired
a
independent
engineer
to
come
out
and
assess
it
and
give
his
official
opinion
on
it,
and
that
was
the
basis
for
the
scope
of
work
that
will
be
in
the
official
bid.
That
goes
out,
but
it
is,
although
it
seems
like
it's
not
that
big
a
deal.
It
really
is
it's
a
75
foot,
long
pool
with
a
lot
of
water
in
it
right
now
that
we're
maintaining
but
again
at
some
point
that
those
pipes
will
collapse
if
they're
not
replaced
soon.
H
E
G
C
C
On
record,
to
say
two
people
in
the
high
desert:
normally
don't
have
heated
pools
outside
because
we
are
in
the
desert.
I
would
never
heat
my
pool
at
home
because
it
would
be
just
too
expensive.
You
only
use
it
during
the
time
we
live
in
the
high
desert.
We
have
the
sun
it's
there
and
you
usually
use
your
pool
in
between
june
july
august
july
august
september,
you're
not
going
to
be
swimming
in
may,
because
it's
too
cold,
but
it's
free
for
the
sun
versus
trying
to
heat
up
that
kind
of
water.
A
Well,
no,
I
I
didn't
mean
to
swim
in
like
the
spring
or
the
wint
winter,
but
I
had
been
told
by
the
t
teacher
who
you
know,
worked
the
pool
and
did
life
lifeguard
stuff
there
that
in
in
the
morn
morning
the
pool
had
to
be
closed
because
it
was
cold.
That's
all
I
wasn't
saying
it
wasn't
the
wind
winter
so
that
they
they
could
couldn't
come
like
in
the
morn
morning.
They'd
have
to
wait
till
the
mid
middle
of
the
day
to
go
when
the
sun
did
warm
warm
it
up.
H
I
Staff
vet
all
of
the
companies
who
are
scoring
pieces
so
we've,
given
you
all
that
information
of
the
scores
that
came
out
and
so
tonight
the
board
is
being
asked
to
approve
the
staff's
recommendation
for
project
manager
on
this
project.
Thank
you.
J
E
C
A
A
I
District
is
making
the
recommendation
to
approve
the
california
professional
management
as
the
project
manager
for
this
pro
pool
renovation
project.
J
S
Absolutely-
and
we
can
do
that
before
the
bid
comes
in
for
the
construction
absolutely
so.
S
B
W
W
Well,
what
we
were
given
in
the
rfp
queue
was
a
survey
done
by
patrel
and
associates.
They
did
a
survey
of
your
pool,
found
multiple
items
that
needed
to
be
repaired
that
need
to
be
brought
up
the
code.
One
are
your
pipes
due
to
the
salt
water,
your
concrete's
deteriorating.
It
doesn't
meet
code,
your
your
pump,
isn't
working
so
you're
gonna
need
to
expand
your
your
equipment
room
for
the
new
pumps.
W
One
of
the
biggest
items
is
everybody's
wanting
to
get
your
project
done,
but
you
got
to
go
to
through
dsa
for
approval.
We
got
to
get
a
architect
on
board
to
get
some
design
issues
put
to
bed
a
bridging
architect.
W
If
you
go
design
build
or
you
bring
on
a
pool
consultant
like
patrell
get
the
design
done,
get
dsa
approval,
take
it
to
bid
award
the
project,
and
then
you
get
into
construction
so
that
since
the
atlanta
elementary
school
district
doesn't
have
a
facilities
department,
we
would
fill
that
role
and
when
the
project's
done,
we
we're
gone.
G
So
basically,
what
you're
doing
is
gutting
the
pool
all
together
and
rebuilding
a
brand
new
pool.
Basically.
E
W
J
W
T
Yeah
I
this
is
all
new
and
fresh
for
me.
I
would
like
to
table
this
item,
but
if
not,
I
really
don't
like
voting
first
on
things
that
I'm
just
this
is
you
know
just
new
to
me.
I
haven't
seen
the
pool,
I
don't
know
what's
going
on
back
there
I
feel
like.
I
should
be
more
educated
before
I
vote
on
this.
To
be
personal,
I
don't
know.
I
The
board
of,
if
we
don't
it,
will
really
delay
the
project.
If
we
don't
act
on
it
tonight,.
A
H
Okay,
quick
question,
so
this
starts
the
process
we
won't
have.
Mr
mr
woods
quote
on
the
project
told
he
presents
correct,
correct
okay,
so
at
this
point
in
time
it's
not
costing
us
anything.
D
T
Well,
since
we
cannot
table
this-
and
I
don't
have
enough
educated
information
to
make
a
good
decision-
I'm
gonna
have
to
vote.
No,
of
course,.
I
If
we
can,
if
I
can,
have
the
board,
mr
krause,
could
you
talk
a
little
bit
about
this
contract
as
well
as
dr
dweizan
in
terms
of
summer
school
support.
S
Yes,
thank
you,
dr
mitchell,
good
evening,
members
of
the
board.
This
contract
is
with
a
company
that
we've
used
before
to
help
us
deploy
2400
chromebooks
for
our
students
for
summer
school.
They
have
the
staffing
the
capability
to
not
only
unpack
them,
set
them
up
image
them
make
sure
that
they're
ready
to
go
for
our
students
as
summer
school
starts
in
just
a
few
short
weeks,
and
dr
zweisen
can
elaborate
a
little
more
on
on
what
they
will
be
doing
with
them.
S
But
this
company
is
a
well-known
company
in
the
inland
empire
that
we've
again
used
before
for
deployment
of
other
chromebooks
as
a
supplement
to
our
current
staff,
who
would
have
to
drop
all
of
their
projects.
They
have
going
right
now
in
order
to
get
2400
chromebooks
ready,
and
then
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
to
dr
dwieson.
Thank
you.
O
So
many
of
our
textbooks
and
supplemental
curriculum
require
electro.
They
have
electronic
through
clever
access,
losing
my
words
this
evening,
so
through
access
they
need
access
to
these
applications,
and
so
the
availability
of
these
computers
will
allow
our
students
to
access
these
programs
during
summer
school
which
we're
calling
our
enrichment
camp
in
order
to
provide
additional
time
to
access
the
curriculum.
G
So
what
about
our
existing
chromebooks
they're,
not
working
they're,
no
good!
Now.
O
So
they
are
so
when
those
chromebooks
were
purchased
and
mr
krause,
you
can
help
me
with
those
about
every
couple
years.
You
want
to
replace
computers
anyway,
they
just
they
have
wear
and
tear
taking
them
back
and
forth,
there's
also
different
systems.
I
I
don't
speak
the
proper
language,
but
the
different
upgrade
systems,
sometimes
don't
work
with
the
newer.
You
know,
websites
and
the
the
different
applications
that
the
students
have
access
to.
O
G
I
Absolutely
but
because
our
kids
are
coming
from
different
sites,
we'd
have
to
collect
those,
and
we
want.
We
want
to
the
kids
to
keep
those
chromebooks
at
home,
we'd
have
to
collect
them
and
they'd
bring
them
to
summer
school
image
them
with
the
programs
that
we
want
to
use
for
summer
school
get
all
that
up
and
running.
In
three
weeks,
we've
used
converge
one
before
when
we
got
when
we
wrapped
up
for
distance
learning,
and
secondly,
just
generally
we're
talking
fairly
cheap
chromebooks
that
don't
last
more
than
a
couple
years,
and
so
to
forego.
H
Okay,
I
want
to
I
want
to
make
a
comment
on
this.
I
have
a
first
grader.
We
had
a
chromebook,
yes
or
last
year
we
kept
it
over
the
summer.
We
came
back
on
the
clever
app.
It
has
a
teacher's
page
with
these
programs
on
it
correct
so
would
our
summer
school
students
be
essentially
being
added
to
a
new
teacher's,
clever
page,
so
that
they
could
utilize
the
same
programs
that
they
use
on
their
already
existing
chromebook.
H
Can't
our
students
use
the
ones
that
they're
already
issued.
This
is
a
I'm
sorry,
trust
you
turner,
I'm
just
going
to
jump
on
here.
This
is
a
76
000
contract
hang
on
one.
Second,
please
for
another.
It
department
or
I.t
thing
I
understand,
but
we
have
the
computers.
We
have
the
technology,
they
have
clever
on
their
their
computers
that
they
already
have
correct.
We.
H
H
Obviously,
okay,
so.
G
To
reprogram
all
of
those
brand
new
computers,
I
see
what
trustee
website
they
already
have
them
we're,
not
our
students
that
are
attending
summer
school
are
already
in
our
district.
How
hard
is
it
for
them
to
to
get
the
extra
stuff
at
it?
It's
already,
they
already
have
it
and
they
already
have
the
problem.
H
A
I
A
I
That's
correct,
that's
correct!
The
idea
is
to
not
have
our
students
come
from
their
home
schools
and
use
the
devices
that
were
checked
out
from
the
home
school
to
utilize
at
the
summer
school.
Then
those
those
computers
that
we
purchase
for
summer
school
will
then
be
used
to
refresh
the
computers
that
people
have,
and
so
we
can't
buy.
I
H
Okay,
but
with
that
76
thousand
dollars
that
we're
we're
spending
for
2400
chromebooks
set
up,
would
it
not
be
utilized
on
a
on
a
better
note
to
use
that
money
to
get
the
one-on-one
one-on-one
system
that
we're
looking
at
for
next
year?
I
mean
the
students
already
have
their
their
laptops,
but
you
mentioned
you
wanted
moving
forward
a
child
to
have
a
laptop
at
home
and
a
child
to
have
a
laptop
at
school.
Yes,.
I
E
A
T
Says
that
he's
only
available
on
two
on
monday
night
for
a
couple
hours
and
I'm
at
work,
you
don't
need
to
be
asking
the
board
that
type
of
question.
It
is
our
pleasure
and
at
our
leisure
to
ask
questions
about
things.
T
I
said
when
your
superintendent
is
only
available
for
a
couple
hours
while
you're
at
work,
you
can't
always
be
prepared
and
we
just
had
a
long
mother's
day
weekend,
lots
of
stuff
going
on.
We
have
every
right.
This
is
the
board's
meeting
and
if
we
have
questions,
we
have
every
right
to
come
here
and
ask
questions.
A
A
T
We
have
every
right
to
do
that.
This
is
our
board
meeting.
We
have
every
right
to
pick
apart.
Anything
we
don't
understand
or
don't
like,
and
not
all
of
us
are
able
to
get
in
touch
or
do
what
we
got
to
do.
So
we
come
to
the
board
meeting.
We
ask
questions
if
we
don't
like
something,
it's
pretty
obvious
and
we
just
go
from
there
so
to
question
your
board.
I
don't
believe
that's
your
right
as
the
board
president
to
question
us
like
this.
We
have
every
right
to
pick
apart.
T
Anything
we
don't
like
or
don't
understand,
okay
you're
just
supposed
to
facilitate
the
meeting,
and
I
do
believe
it's
9
20.
It's
getting
to
that
point
where
we
still
have
agenda
items
and
we're
probably
going
to
have
to
motion
to
extend
the
meeting,
because
there
was
a
lot
of
stuff
on
here
again
as
the
board
president.
I
appreciate
it
if
we
do
have
a
closed
session,
so
we
can
deal
with
a
lot
of
the
stuff
in
closed
session.
T
A
Well,
that's
fine!
I'm
trying
to
for
facil
still
facilitate
the
mead
meeting
so
that
we
could
get
out
of
here.
You
know
I
list
listened
to
the
pub
public
when
they
asked
about
our
closed
session,
because
it
always
runs
an
hour
two
hour
hours
and
and
such
and
I
was
trying
to
be.
You
know
more
of
a
com
accommodate
dating
to
you
know
for
everybody
so
that
we
can
get
through
through
this
and
being
mine,
mindful
of
the
time,
because
it's
a
big
deal
for
for
the
time
for
us
to
be
out
of
time.
T
Well,
it's
nice
for
us
to
accommodate
the
public,
but
as
the
board,
as
you
can
see
tonight
we
pulled
almost
every
agenda
item
because
we
didn't
understand
it
didn't
know
what
was
going
on
now
we
got
to
go
in
closed
session
deal
with
more
tabled
items.
It's
turning
into
a
disaster.
It
needs
to
be
better
facilitated.
T
I
don't
know
what
it's
going
to
take.
I
mean
if
we
need
to
go
into
closed
session
and
make
it
a
strict
30
minutes
and
time
limit
everybody,
one
or
two
minutes
per
item,
then
that's
how
we
do
it.
There's
things
that
a
board
president
can
do
to
facilitate.
I
know
I've
been
one
many
times
you
got
to
keep
it
tight.
You
got
to
keep
it
close.
You
got
to
be
in.
You
got
to
be
out.
If
not
it's
going
to
be
all
over
the
place
like
it
is
tonight.
T
Okay,
so
next
time
we
