Thank
you,
madam
president,
members
of
the
board
this
evening
we
are
excited
to
be
able
to
recognize
many
of
our
employees.
This
is
by
the
way
this
is
one
of
the
most
packed
houses
I've,
seen
in
a
long
time,
so
very
exciting
and
Mr
Moran
and
his
team
are
going
to
be
assisting
with
this
recognition.
So
at
this
time,
I'd
like
to
turn
it
over
to
Mr
Moran.
H
Okay,
great
thank
you
Mr
Krause
good
evening,
president
of
French,
trustee
super
superintendent,
Kraus
cabinet
members,
staff,
students
and
guests
I'm
Carlos
Moran,
the
assistant
superintendent
of
Human
Resources.
So
it
gives
me
great
pleasure
tonight
to
recognize
staff
of
the
Adelanto
Elementary
School
District,
who
have
devoted
their
careers
to
enriching
the
lives
of
our
children
and
I.
Know
we've
done
this
before
for
for
employees
who
celebrated
10
years,
15
years
and
so
tonight,
but
we're
going
to
be
honoring
staff
who
have
reached
20-year
Milestone,
25
and
30
years.
H
So
congratulations
to
to
all
of
to
all
of
them
and
again
it
gives
me
honor
to
present
and
recognize
these
these
employees
this
evening.
So
as
I've
shared
before
it's
an
annual
Service
award,
that's
part
of
the
tradition
and
recognition
and
gratitude
for
our
dedicated
employees
for
those
accomplishments
and
outstanding
work
that
contribute
to
the
success
of
our
students,
teachers,
staff
and
also
the
alumni
of
the
Adelanto
Elementary
School
District.
So
again
tonight
we
will
recognize
staff
who've,
completed
20,
25
and
30
years
of
service.
H
To
the
district
and
I
know,
some
of
the
the
the
tokens
of
appreciation
were
passed
out.
H
I
know
the
20-year
Service
recipients
receive
a
beautiful
plaque
like
this,
so
you
believe
you
have
that
already
and
it
does
read
in
recognition
of
your
20,
20
or
25
years
of
service
in
sincere
appreciation
for
your
dedication
and
service
to
the
Adelanto
Elementary
School
District.
H
And
then
those
receiving
30
years
or
reaching
30
years
will
receive
this
beautiful
plaque
or
already
have
it:
okay,
okay!
So
let's
start
and
if
I
can
as
I
call
your
name,
if
you
are
here
or
if
you
are
on
Zoom,
if
you're
on
Zoom,
if
you
could
just
turn
your
camera
on,
if
you
are
here,
please
stand
and
then
remain
standing
and
then
after
I
read
all
the
names
I'm
going
to
call
everybody
up
for
a
photo
with
the
Board
of
Trustees.
Okay.
H
So
again
this
on
behalf
of
the
Board
of
Trustees,
we
would
like
to
honor
employees
who
have
reached
the
20th
anniversary
of
employment
with
the
district,
so
Christian
coop
Cooper
principal
at
Morgan,
Kincaid.
H
All
right,
so
all
of
you
who
are
here,
if
you
don't
mind
stepping
up
if
you
did
get
your
plaque
or
your
pen
I,
think
you
guys
got
a
pin.
Sorry.
So
if
you
could
come
up
here,
so
we
could
take
a
group
picture.
Thank
you.
H
All
right,
thank
you,
and
now
the
Board
of
Trustees
would
like
to
honor
employees
who
have
reached
the
25th
anniversary
of
employment.
H
So
Mark
Andrew
whiskey
from
Braddock
teacher.
H
H
H
Okay,
again,
congratulations
to
all
of
our
award
recipients
for
a
job
well
done
over
the
past,
20,
25
and
30
years.
Congratulations.
E
E
Times
get
difficult,
but
to
see
you
celebrated
for
all
these
years,
the
Milestones
that
you
have
accomplished
the
service
that
you
supported
our
district,
our
students,
our
staff,
is
just
goes
unnoticed.
So
again,
congratulations
to
our
2025
and
30
year.
Employees
keep
up
the
outstanding
work
and
again,
congratulations.
Thank
you.
D
A
G
J
Good
evening,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
my
name
is
Mrs
Angulo
and
I'm.
The
Spanish
teacher
at
Columbia
Middle
School
a
little
bit
about
myself.
I've
been
teaching
for
24
years,
I
taught
pre-algebra,
I,
taught
us
history
and
9th
grade
English
and
I
didn't
feel
like
I
found,
my
true
calling
until
I
started,
teaching
Spanish
I've
been
teaching
Spanish
for
five
years
at
Columbia,
and
it's
the
best
thing
ever.
J
Here's
our
students
they're
very
happy
to
be
here.
Thank
you
for
having
us
we're
really
grateful
that
you're
having
us
there.
The
kids
are
really
excited
to
dance,
we're
going
to
be
dancing
to
LA
raspa.
K
J
A
little
bit
about
what
we
do
in
class,
we've
learned
different
things
throughout,
of
course,
besides
learning
Spanish
working
in
our
textbooks,
our
workbooks
and
worksheets,
we've
done
some
projects.
For
example,
we
did
the
Ojo
de
dios,
which
is
from
the
which
old
Indians
in
ayarit.
There's
some
students
once
there's
another
one
right
here:
okay
and
the
reason
they
started.
This
is
for
protection,
for
they
believe
that
a
lot
of
their
children
had
a
high
mortality
under
the
age
of
five,
so
they
started
using
these
as
protection.
J
Okay,
they've
also
done
in
Spanish
club
they've
done
their
own
pinatas
out
of
cereal
boxes.
Okay,
they've
done
this
out
of
Sarah
box
and
around
Thanksgiving.
They
done
the
little
husk
people
and
Mother's
Day
they're
going
to
be
doing
the
flower
pants
moms.
You
never
heard
that
I'm
surprised
when
you
get
them.
Okay.
These
are
a
very
nice
group
of
kids.
I
really
enjoy
working
with
them
every
day.
Teaching
middle
school
isn't
always
a
walk
in
the
park
and
I'm
sure
my
colleagues
would
agree.
The
only
thing
is
it's
kids
like
this.
J
That
help
me
get
up
every
day
and
want
to
teach
them.
Okay,
some
are
really
good
students.
They
do
all
their
work.
Others
are
funny
they
come
and
tell
me
the
funniest
stories,
what
they
call
cheeseme
and
others
others
a
bit
mischievous
and
sometimes
get
themselves
in
trouble,
but
it's
okay
overall
they're,
all
good
students
and
I'm
really
proud
of
them.
They
worked
really
hard
for
this,
so
I
hoped
you
enjoyed
it.
Thank
you
for
having
us.
G
M
Thank
you
board
members,
Mr
Cross
cabinet
parents,
students,
staff,
everyone-
this
is
exciting.
Mr
Austin
is
my
presentation
on
this
computer
or
okay,
so
could
I
have
while
we're
getting
things
queued
up?
Could
I
have
my
students
that
are
here,
go
and
come
up
with
me
and
they
can
sit
over
here.
M
They
help
prepare
students
through
public
speaking
presentations,
event,
planning
marketing,
Sports,
entertainment,
word,
processing,
accounting,
game
design,
web
design
and
more
so
my
background
in
teaching
was
in
career
and
tech,
ed
and
Computer
Applications,
so
I
kind
of
guided
the
students
with
that
way,
Miss
littlejohn's
area
of
expertise.
What
she's,
our
sixth
seventh
grade
teacher,
was
in
journalism
and
Ms
Durgin.
Our
seventh
eighth
grade
teacher
does
a
lot
of
career
exploration.
So
between
the
three
of
us,
we
did
a
number
of
different
projects
in
helping
prepare
the
students
for
different
competitions
and
for
their
future.
M
The
one
group
setting
where
we're
sitting
at
the
dining
table,
not
the
one
at
the
restaurant
but
the
other
one.
They
learned
proper
meal
etiquette
at
a
formal,
dining
event.
So
while
they
were
eating,
they
said,
okay,
take
the
spoon
from
the
outside
dip
your
soup
and
wait.
And
then
you
know
then
take
a
bite
and
then
they
also
learned
about
waiting
for
your
host
and
proper
conversation.
So
it
was
very
interesting
and
then
the
students
went
to
a
number
of
different
workshops
at
that
time,
too.
Preparing
for
the
upcoming
competition.
M
Then
we
had
the
Inland
Regional
competition,
where
we
took
roughly
14
students
that
competed
in
that
some
competed
online
and
then
many
of
them
went
and
out
of
those
14.
We
had
10
students
that
placed
in
the
top
ten.
They
were
competing
against
high
schoolers.
It
wasn't
just
the
Middle
School,
it
was
Middle
School
and
High
School
combined,
so
I
am
so
excited
with
their
accomplishments,
and
we
have
one
student
moving
on
to
state
which
we'll
share
in
just
a
moment.
M
So
Miss
Iliana
Sandoval,
please
stand
so
she
and
her
partner
they're
up
on
the
stage
on
the
in
the
picture.
Miss
Vanessa
Bernal,
who
had
a
really
high
fever,
stayed
home
tonight.
They
competed
in
event
planning
and
they
originally
got
seventh
place,
but
they
were
bumped
up
to
sixth
place
and
that
qualified
them
for
state.
So
Ileana
is
going
to
go
with
Miss
Durgin
leaving
tomorrow
to
represent
us
in
Sacramento
and
we're
so
excited
and
can't
wait.
M
We
have
two
student
presentations
for
you.
One
is
recorded
our
broadcast
journalism
and
Miss
Ruth
Hernandez
Ruth.
If
you
could
stand
just
for
a
moment,
so
Ruth
is
pictured
with
one
of
her
Partners
there
Kaylee
cereso
and
they
placed
third
in
their
area
of
competition
which
I'm
so
excited.
I
was
so
sad.
The
top
two
went
to
state,
so
they
were
so
close,
but
let's
go
ahead
and
enjoy
their
presentation.
N
O
Stories
concerning
California
recovery,
egg
prices
and
a
local
family
business
on
today's
episode,
but
now
that
it's
beginning
with
Ruth
and
Madness
will
give
us
an
update
on
the
result
of
vocabulary
on
the
catastrophic
storms
that
we
have
been
witnessing
on
the
northern
part
of
California
Bruce.
We're
here
with
you.
Thank
you.
As
we
all
know,
storms
in
California
have
been
back
to
the
likes
of
many
people,
including
the
loss
of
Lies,
disruption
of
property
and
farmland.
O
Now
scientists
have
reasons
to
believe
that
these
stones
are
not
caused
by
climate
change
and
cities
in
Santa,
Barbara
and
San
Francisco
have
seen
one
16
inches
of
rain
between
December
and
January
of
2023..
The
floods
are
caused
by
we
create
waves,
invest
in
Far
Rivers
that
typically
lead
to
very
high
rain
ball
and
lead
to
structured
damage
by
destroying
roads
and
bridges.
No
Darkness-
and
here
is
a
video
showing
the
damages
of
the
storms.
We
have
been
seeing
and
the
U.S.
P
P
O
As
we
all
know,
employee
should
have
depicted
our
grocery
Texas
really
during
the
past
years
since
covet
started,
but
those
prices
can't
compare
with
the
ones
over
your
scene
today
with
eggs.
This
beginning
of
2023.,
the
average
at
dozen
in
California
Labs
there
was
3.36
and
that
you
can
see
right
here.
O
It
has
doubled
since
2022
and
in
some
markets
has
even
quadrupled
believing
today's
egg
price
doesn't
at
7.37
or
higher
based
on
the
Storm.
These
price
Rises
are
effective,
family
grocery
bills
in
California
and
across
the
states,
and
local
businesses,
such
as
bakeries,
are
being
forced
to
close
due
to
the
fact
that
they
can't
really
afford
to
buy
the
eggs
if
they
want
to
make
a
profit.
O
In
other
cases,
as
we
can
see
here,
the
egg
stands
there
have
empty
like
the
story
at
Walmart,
while
it's
becoming
so
expensive
is
a
question
that
we
are
all
wanting.
There
are
a
few
factors
that
contribute
to
this
problem.
Firstly,
the
native
to
move
stress
last
year
during
the
middle
of
the
Year,
killing
millions
of
laying
hands
and
trick.
Another
factor
is
gas
and
propane
prices.
Since
these
prices
have
risen,
the
movement
of
the
eggs
has
become
more
expensive,
as
well
as
the
Keegan
of
the
hands.
O
During
the
Winter
According
to
a
news
channel,
Market
owners
had
fought,
refusing
to
sell
and
prices
added
price
they
need
to
in
order
not
to
charge
the
customer.
In
reaction
to
these
prices,
people
have
also
started
to
collect
their
own
fresh
eggs
by
buying
layer
heads,
but
people
hope
that
prices
will
drop
since
the
holidays.
They
see.
Dinner
is
open
foreign.
O
Miracle
organic
farms
located
in
Sacramento
California
is
a
family
local
business
that
has
been
started
since
1998
and,
as
we
can
see
here,
they
have
a
lot
of
Fresh
Products
and
Miracle
Organic
Farms
help
people
develop
the
healthier
lifestyle
and
relationship
between
mind
and
body
and
soul.
Memorable
Organic
Farms
offer
Clippers
to
help
you
learned
about
their
fruits
and
vegetables
and
gave
information
that
teaches
people
how
to
care
for
their
plants
and
flowers
and
give
a
wide
variety
of
organic
foods
that
customers
can
buy
from
them
in
their
shops.
O
People
like
to
buy
fresh
products
for
miracle
Organic
Farms
because
their
customers
like
to
eat
healthy
and
fresh
people
like
coming
to
learn
about
recipes
and
agricultural
methods
of
your
Organic
Farms.
Thank
you
and
that's
all
we
have
for
you
today
on
neurco
organic
farms
and
now
back
to
check,
and
that's
all
for
today.
Thank
you
for
being
with
us
or
today's
episode
of
elmore's
Toronto
news.
Don't
forget
to
stay
updated
on
our
Network
on
the
network
credits
tequila
is
a
reservoir
common
person.
M
So
I'm
really
excited
and
was
very
proud
of
all
of
them.
Thank
you
for
our
technology
individuals,
making
it
work
all
right.
Our
next
presentation
is
called
a
sales
presentation
and
let
me
get
the
cue
cards
and
Kim
if
you
could
grab
your
bullet.
M
M
Partners
were
not
able
to
make
it
this
evening,
so
I'm
going
to
kind
of
help
her
with
her
presentation
a
little
bit
but
tell
us
what
your
presentation
was
about.
R
M
N
M
K
N
M
So
while
we
switch
back
over,
we
have
some
awards
to
give
to
the
students
and
we'll
recognize
all
the
names,
even
though
a
few
of
them
are
not
here.
We
do
have
representatives
from
for
the
different
categories
here,
and
one
is
not
here
that
we'll
take
back.
L
S
And
my
name
is
I'm
here
on
the
behalf
of
assembly
member
Juan
Carrillo.
We
just
want
to
congratulate
all
the
participants
and
the
kids
who
placed
this
is
an
incredible
achievement.
Assembly
member
Carrillo
is
very
deeply
invested
in
creating
career
opportunities
early
for
our
community
members,
and
we
are
so
proud
that
you
are
taking
these
incredible
steps.
Looking
towards
your
future.
L
M
Is
the
other
representative,
so
Kim
Ramos,
who
just
presented
her
team?
Her
team
was
one
of
the
youngest
groups
there
being
sixth
graders.
They
were
very
few
if
any
other
sixth
grade
teams
and
they
received
fifth
place
for
their
sales
presentation
on
the
VTEC
Cube.
M
M
Okay,
the
other
ones
that
were
not
present.
We
had
Kaylee
cereso
and
Jackie
Rodriguez
presented
with
Ruth
in
the
broadcast
journalism,
Nathan,
Gomez
and
Brittany
Perez
presented
with
Kim
in
the
sales
presentation,
Vanessa
Bernal
presented
with
Ileana
in
the
event
planning
and
then
Alan
adivas
and
Pedro
Acosta
received
Ninth
Place
in
the
sports
and
entertainment
management.
L
A
H
Okay,
thank
you
good
evening
again,
president
of
French
trustees,
Mr
Cross,
District,
colleagues
and
community
members.
So
just
a
quick
update
on
several
items,
so
negotiations
with
ADT
has
already
been
settled.
I
think
I
shared
that
last
time
we
have
CC
negotiations.
H
Our
next
bargaining
session
is
this
Friday
April
28th
and
we
will
continue
to
meet
and
we're
collaboratively
with
their
CSEA
Partners
to
reach
a
fair
and
reasonable
agreement
for
our
classified
employees
from
the
certificated
side
of
HR,
I'd
like
to
thank
Jennifer
Rader,
president
of
the
teachers
union
and
Dana
Curtis
from
the
HR
department
for
their
work
in
finalizing
the
ADT
and
District
collective
bargaining
agreement
and
the
new
article
changes
from
this
year's
negotiation
sessions.
H
You
know,
after
there's
negotiation
and
there's
new
language
they
go
through
and
they
kind
of
clean
that
up
and
and
they
make
sure
the
pages
are
correct
and
all
of
that
so
they're
getting
that
all
squared
away,
so
that'll
be
posted
soon
for
all
the
members
and
on
our
website
also
summer
school
teacher
recruiting
is,
is
underway.
I
believe
we
mentioned
that
last
time
at
our
last
board
meeting
and
then
our
HR
team
will
be
attending
and
recruiting
at
the
San
Bernardino
County
and
EDD
hiring
event
at
Adelanto
Stadium.
H
This
Thursday
April
27th
from
9
A.M
to
2
P.M
on
the
classified
side
we're
finalizing
summer
assignments
for
classified
employees,
notices
for
summer
assignments
will
be
sent
out
this
week.
Classified
substitutes,
update,
we've
hired
41
new
classified
substitutes
this
year,
making
a
total
of
92
I'd
like
to
thank
our
HR
team
for
their
hard
work.
I
know
Gloria
Benavides
on
the
classified
site
and
Alejandra
Gonzalez
from
our
department,
so
I
think
thanks
to
their
them
and
their
hard
work.
H
We've
also
this
year
regarding
volunteers,
we've
processed
and
approved
230
volunteers
for
all
of
our
school
sites.
So
hopefully
that
increases
next
year,
because
we
do
definitely
want
more
volunteers
to
support
our
schools.
H
H
Sometimes
the
applicants
come
to
the
job
fair
and
they
spend
a
lot
of
time,
creating
that
account
so
we're
going
to
have
them
create
those
accounts
before
they
actually
come
to
our
job
fairs,
and
so
they
also
will
be
taught
how
to
navigate
edjoin
and
complete
that
application
process
and
then
that
same
on
that's
on
those
two
same
Saturdays
there's
part
of
it
is
also
Community
resource
Fair,
we're
inviting
various
universities
that
we
partner
with
Cal
State
San,
Bernardino,
Cal,
Poly,
Pomona,
Azusa,
Pacific,
Grand,
Canyon,
University,
Alliance
University
as
well.
H
Some
neighboring
adult
schools
from
the
risk
management
and
benefit
side
I
want
to
provide
a
friendly
reminder
to
that.
We
have
the
active
shooter
training
scheduled
for
this
Saturday
April
29th
from
8
A.M
to
12
p.m,
at
Mesa,
Linda,
Middle,
School
and
Columbia
Middle
School.
Currently
we
have
250
registered
participants
and
another
reminder
about
Open
Enrollment
is
open.
Enrollment
is
scheduled
for
May
1st
through
May
25th
and
then
another
reminder
about
our
health.
H
Fair,
that's
scheduled
for
Tuesday
May,
2nd
at
Melva,
Davis
Academy
from
2PM
to
5
p.m,
and
then
the
last
thing
I'd
like
to
share
is
our
colloquium
for
the
2223
school
year.
These
are
the
new
teachers
that
are
part
of
the
induction
program.
So
it's
celebrating
teacher
induction
that
day.
This
is
a
culminating
event
for
induction
participants
celebrating
their
growth
as
a
teacher.
It
takes
place
here
in
the
district
boardroom
on
Thursday
May
18th
from
four
to
six
pm.
Thank
you
for
listening
and
this
concludes
my
comments.
G
T
Right,
thank
you
good
evening
board
president
love
French
Board
of
Trustees
and
our
aesd
staff
and
Community
I'm
pleased
to
share
some
of
our
most
recent
highlights
from
our
academic
services
division.
So
we
look
forward
to
this.
Coming
Tuesday
we'll
be
having
a
board
Workshop
to
discuss
our
newest
adoption.
That's
our
history
and
social
science
as
it
relates
to
our
curriculum
mapping.
So
we're
excited
to
share
what
we've
been
working
on.
T
So
we
are
currently
also
getting
ready
to
Embark
in
a
process
with
our
Board
of
Trustees
teachers
and
Community
to
look
closely
at
our
health
curriculum.
So
we
are
not.
T
We
want
to
make
sure
that
we
bring
the
most
current
materials
and
that
we
are
aligned
with
the
state
and
so
we're
going
to
be
beginning
this
process
in
August
of
2023.
So
that's
going
to
be
our
next
process
that
we're
embarking
on.
We
are
in
full
testing
mode.
So
thank
you
to
all
of
our
staff,
our
administrators
teachers,
principals
and
parents,
who
are
here
helping
us
to
get
our
kids
to
school
on
time,
ready
for
testing,
and
so
we
have
two
schools
that
are
actually
almost
complete
George
and
El
Mirage.
T
And
so
we
are
looking
in
the
next
two
weeks
to
finish
with
all
of
our
sites
and
making
sure
that
we
hit
those
participation
rates
and
we
are
excited
and
actually
the
feeling
from
the
kids
is
there.
They've
got
this
so
far.
So
we're
excited
about
that
as
you
go
to
the
sites,
you've
probably
noticed
our
new
enrollment
banners
they're
up
at
the
sites
and
they
look
beautiful,
and
so
we
are
now
just
a
reminder
to
our
community
listening
that
we
are
open
for
next
year
for
for
grades
TK
to
eight.
T
So
please
sign
up
in
our
Enrollment
Center
here.
The
ladies
would
love
to
help
you,
so
we
can
make
sure
that
your
kids
are
in
school
for
the
new
year
summer.
School
is
also
now
open.
We're
going
to
keep
sending
those
reminders
out
through
our
parent
Square
app.
You
can
also
find
the
link
on
our
website.
We
are
looking
for
our
students
to
sign
up
for
this
opportunity
to
participate
in
not
just
learning
but
fun
learning,
and
we
know
our
teachers
do
a
great
job
they're
excited
about
summer
school.
T
So
we
also
want
to
give
I
want
to
give
a
shout
out
to
Mesa
Linda
Mrs
Luna's
Spanish
class
they'll.
Be
receiving
an
award
actually
tomorrow
evening
at
Cal
State
for
their
outstanding
achievement
in
foreign
language
that'll
be
at
the
Inland
Empire
foreign
language
Association,
who
will
be
honoring
them
so
so
much
honors.
It's
it's
incredible.
T
We
have
amazing
students
in
Adelanto
and
then
this
morning,
I
just
have
to
share
this
I
had
the
pleasure
of
visiting
George
this
morning
they
had
Harry
Potter
literacy
day
and
so
I
stopped
by
to
say,
hi
and
I
didn't
have
any
my
my
Harry
Potter
gear
today,
but
I
was
so
impressed.
I
visited
Mrs,
Martin's
class
where
second
grade
students
were
doing
podcasting.
She
has
a
whole
set
up
and
she
gave
them
a
topic
and
what
they
were
discussing
and
I
think
they
did
even
better
than
I
do
up
here.
T
Weekly,
so
I
just
want
to
give
a
shout
out
to
our
amazing
team
out
there
and
doing
great
things
for
our
community.
So
that
concludes
academic
Services
comments.
G
Foreign
and
good
evening,
Madam
president
members
of
the
board
and
cabinet
and
everyone
here
this
evening
with
us
in
person,
are
out
in
Zoom
land
I
will
be
briefing
my
comments.
I
do
want
to
first
off
thank
everybody
for
coming
out
tonight.
Our
wonderful
presentations
that
we
had
with
our
staff
and
our
students
and
I
want
to
thank
the
families
for
supporting
our
students.
It's
very
important
that
that
you're
here
anytime,
that
your
student
is
presenting
and
I
know
they
truly
appreciate
it
and
I.
G
Remember
a
long
time
ago,
when
I
had
stage
fright
as
well.
So
don't
worry
it's
not
anything!
That's
bad!
I
I'd
tell
you
I,
remember
getting
up
in
front
of
people
when
I
was
in
school
trying
to
present,
and
it
was
a
it
was
a
challenge,
but
the
more
you
do
it,
the
better
you're
going
to
get
at
it
so
exciting
to
see
our
students
blossoming
and
really
becoming.
G
You
know
involved
in
like
FBLA,
Spanish
club
and
other
organizations
at
our
schools,
and
so
we
hope
to
Dr
zweizen
and
her
team
are
also
looking
to
expand
our
programs
that
we
have,
and
that
leads
me
to
thank
some
of
our
partners
as
well,
that
we
already
work
with
such
as
the
millionaire
Minds
I
want
to
thank
Mr,
Lawrence
Williams,
because
she
does
a
great
job
in
after
school
program,
working
with
our
students
on
on
Robotics
and
other
programs
that
they
have
and
then
also
Aya
or
action.
G
G
One
of
the
highlights
that
we've
been
focusing
on
this
year
is
parent
and
family
engagement
and
there's
family
Workshop
nights
coming
up
in
May
and
to
give
you
an
example
of
what
they'll
be
talking
about
the
purpose
to
provide
information
about
the
different
ways
to
keep
your
family
safe
and
raise
an
awareness
on
human
trafficking
and
Online
safety.
So
this
is
just
one
way
that
we're
able
to
reach
out
to
our
community
and
really
get
them
engaged
in.
G
What's
going
on
out
there,
not
only
academically,
but
also
just
in
general
and
engaging
them
in
these
conversations
that
are
very
important
and
then
that
segues
right
into
to
what
the
board
president
and
board
members
have
asked
me
to
look
into
as
far
as
school
safety.
So
one
of
the
items
this
evening
you
will
see
on
this
agenda
is
a
board
policy
for
consideration
that
talks
about.
Let
me
pull
it
up
real
quick
here.
G
It
talks
about
searches
and
seizures
on
School,
District
property,
and
so
this
is
one
of
the
things
that
we
wanted
to
get
updated
this
evening.
Is
our
board
policy
to
present
to
the
board
in
the
community
and
it
just
basically
talks
about
the
ability
of
our
administrative
staff
being
able
to
have
more
ways
to
be
able
to
keep
our
campuses
safe.
Another
way
that
it
addresses
is
looking
at
our
metal
detectors
that
potentially
we
might
look
at
for
our
district.
So
that's
one
of
the
ways
we're
looking
at
it,
but
we
take
safety
security.
G
As
Mr
Moran
stated,
we
have
active
shooter
training
at
Columbia,
Middle
School
in
Mesa
Linda.
This
Saturday
I
believe
there's
at
least
250
or
more
people
signed
up
for
that.
So
we're
excited
that
they'll
be
there
from
8
to
12.
This
Saturday
I'll
be
there
at
both
School
sites
and
so
another
way
to
ensure
the
safety
of
our
students
and
our
staff
and
then
finally,
I
wanted
to
give
a
giant
shout
out.
Because
does
anybody
know
what
tomorrow
is
recognition
wise?
G
We
have
several
recognitions
on
our
board
meeting
agenda
this
evening,
but
tomorrow
is
a
very
special
one,
because
it's
Administrative
Assistant
professional
day
and
I
I
got
to
tell
you
most
of
us
on
this.
Dice
wouldn't
be
here
and
be
able
to
do
the
work
we
do
without
our
administrative
assistance,
and
so
I
really
want
to
give
a
shout
out
to
my
Administrative
Assistant
for
all
the
hard
work
that
she
does.
G
I
know
that
she
works
tirelessly
to
assist
myself
and
and
the
board
members
here
up
in
the
diocese
with
a
lot
of
the
hard
work
that
goes
on
a
lot
of
things
go
on
behind
the
scenes.
People
don't
know,
but
she
she
works
tirelessly,
and
then
we
also
have
ready
Peralta
in
Human
Resources.
We
want
to
thank
her
she's
in
the
back
there.
Thank
you
for
all
of
her
hard
work.
G
We
have
Sandra
El
amio
in
academic
services
that
really
helps
Dr
dwison
and
her
team
behind
the
scenes,
and
then,
last
but
not
least,
on
on
cabinet.
We
have
Veronica
Montiel
who
helps
with
business
services.
So
we
also
want
to
give
her
some
recognition
as
well.
So
thank
you
to
all
of
you
that
and
everyone
else
at
our
school
sites
as
well.
All
the
work
that
you
do
it's
it
does
not
go
unnoticed
and
we
truly
appreciate
it
and
with
that
Madam
president,
that's
my
comments
this
evening.
A
A
The
public
comment
period
is
administrated
by
state
law
and
is
the
point
in
the
meeting
set
aside
for
members
of
the
public
to
share
their
opinions
with
the
board
open
meeting
laws.
Do
not
permit
the
board
to
engage
in
dialogue,
dialogue
or
answer
questions
protocol
for
speakers.
Any
person
who
wishes
to
address
the
governing
board
on
closed
session
agenda
items
must
complete
them
and
submit
an
aesd
speaker
request
form
five
minutes
before
the
meeting
is
called
to
order.
Public
comments
will
only
be
taken
on
agenda
items
during
the
discussion
of
those
items.
A
The
board
values
public
comment
and
although
the
Board
of
Trustees
cannot
take
action
or
discuss
items
not
on
the
agenda,
the
Board
of
Trustees
listen
carefully
and
appreciate
input
from
the
public.
Additionally,
a
public
speaker
can
be
cut
off
for
exceeding
the
allotted
time
or
for
willfully,
causing
an
actual
disruption
to
the
meeting
before
cutting
the
person
off
or
removing
someone.
The
board
will
give
at
least
one
clear
warning
if
you
were
cut
off
or
worn
last
time.
A
Please
consider
that
your
warning
individual
speakers
are
allowed
three
minutes
to
address
the
board
on
each
closed
session.
Item
agenda
item:
the
board
limits
the
total
time
for
public
input
on
each
item
to
20
minutes
with
board
consent.
The
president
may
increase
or
decrease
the
time
allotted
for
public
presentations
depending
on
the
topic
and
the
number
of
persons
wishing
to
be
hurt.
The
president
may
take
a
poll
of
speakers
for
or
against
a
particular
issue
and
may
ask
that
additional
persons
speak
only
if
they
have
something
new
to
add.
G
U
The
teachers
of
aesd
are
would
also
like
nothing
more
than
to
hopefully
have
a
a
positive
resolution
for
our
CEO
CSEA
brothers
and
sisters
and
our
hard-working
administration
at
all
of
the
school
sites
and
administration.
Here
at
the
district
office,
as
I've
stated
in
the
past,
everything
is
a
domino
effect
if,
if
we're
missing
support
Personnel,
it
affects
teachers.
If
we're
missing
support
Personnel,
it
affects
site
administrators.
If
we're
missing
teachers,
it
affects
the
site
site
Administration,
it
affects
the
district.
U
One
thing
affects
another,
and
so
with
that
we
know
that
the
CSEA
negotiations
is
coming
up
this
Friday
and
we
are
hopeful
that
the
district
will
be
able
to
find
a
compromise,
we're
hoping
that
they
will
be
able
to
much
like
us,
have
a
have
a
tentative
agreement,
and
we
also
hope
that
that
our
administrators
across
the
district
will
also
receive
similar
incentives,
because
we
want
our.
We
want
our
whole
AES
down
aesd
family,
to
stay
together
and
we
want
everyone
here.
We
don't
want
people
leaving.
U
V
Good
evening
custody
excuse
me:
Madam
president
La
French
trustees,
Mr
Krause
superintendent,
cabinet,
classified
staff,
certificated
staff
and
all
others
who
are
attending
this
meeting.
I
brought
up
with
me,
Mr
Grayling
Asian
he's
our
csca
labor
representative
Labor
Relations
representative
for
support.
W
V
Hard
for
me
to
come
up
here
and
speak
I
would
like
to
thank
them
and
congratulate
all
of
those
members
who
completed
their
20
25
30
years,
what
an
accomplishment
and
loyalty
they
have
to
our
district.
Also,
our
students
who
came
in
performed
they
did
a
great
job.
It
was
nice
to
see.
V
Also
Mr
Moran
on
behalf
of
CSEA
would
like
to
our
sincere
condolences
for
the
for
your
loss.
V
V
V
One
thing
I
wanted
to
say
about
that:
our
certificated
staff,
when
they
were
working
at
home,
they
received
a
stipend
for
using
their
own
electricity,
everything
that
they
needed
their
heating,
their
cooling,
whatever
they
received
a
stipend
clerico
who
work
eight
hours
a
day.
Teachers
do
not
work
eight
hours
a
day.
We
receive
nothing.
V
V
V
We
had
to
hurry
and
make
an
mou
to
make
sure
that
we
could
use
whatever
we
had
on
the
books
for
absences,
which
meant
that
many
of
our
Paras
had
to
use
and
deplete
that
bank.
V
V
We
also
had
a
company,
and
most
of
you
know
that
the
covet
company
wanted
an
extra
million
dollars,
in
addition
to
the
million
that
that
they
were
already
paid
out
and
classified
stepped
up
to
the
plate.
Once
again,
we
were
paid.
We
were
only
offered
250
a
week
for
that
for
a
job
that
they
were
doing
with
one
job,
and
a
lot
of
us
already
had
a
full-time
job
and
we
had
another
job
added
on
what
did
classified
do
we
stepped
up
to
the
plate
and
we
did
it.
V
X
V
I
realize
that's
all
behind
us:
I
want,
let's
get
to
the
present
when
teachers
are
out,
they
get
extra
students.
If
there
are
no
subs,
they
are
compensated
for
extra
students.
V
Classified
I
was
out
yesterday:
I
was
sick,
I
ended
up
five
hours
in
urgent
care,
with
my
husband
also
and
when
we're
out
there's
no
sub
I
had
no
sub
when
I
come
to
negotiate
and
I'm
here,
I'm
consider
myself
absent,
because
if
I
wasn't
here,
I
would
be
at
work
when
we
have
no
subs.
V
We
have
extra
work
to
do,
especially
in
the
offices
well
everywhere.
Every
single
department,
when
we
do
not
have
enough
Subs
the
ones
who
are
here,
are
working
double
that's
in
all
of
our
departments
and
what
happens
our
way
Gets
behind
our
work
is
behind
and
we
are
expected
to
catch
up
on
a
regular
time.
V
I
realized
that
that's
behind
us
and
right
now,
I
wanted
to
speak
about
negotiations.
All
the
12
percent
on
schedule,
salary
for
2023
is
very
nice.
Also
three
percent
off
schedule
classified
was
asking
for
an
additional
two
percent,
which
means
five
percent
off
schedule.
V
We
have
always
turned
our
cheek.
We
have
had
our
our
teachers,
who
have
gotten
more
than
we
have
several
years
a
couple
of
years
for
sure,
and
what
do
we
do?
We
turned
our
cheek.
V
We
have
I
have
heard
many
comments
from
our
classified
staff
feeling
unappreciated
disrespected,
because
when
do
we
get
our
turn
when
we
know
that
there
are,
there
is
funding
now
for
us
to
receive
that
and
I
think
we
really
do
deserve
it.
V
I
know
that,
thanks
to
Dr
Mitchell
and
his
vision,
we
now
have
100
Kaiser,
which
is
great.
However,
when
we,
when
admin
opt
out,
they
get
thousands
of
dollars
back
okay.
When
the
teachers
opt
out,
they
get
2
000
back
once
it
equates
to
200
more.
L
V
V
We
pre-coveted
our
bus
drivers,
we
had
a
whole
Fleet,
we
had
47
drivers
47,
we
were
the
top
paid
up
here
in
the
high
desert.
They
were
able
to
get
all
of
our
students
here.
V
V
Apple
Valley
has
beaten
us
to
the
punch
they're
having
their
job
fairs.
They
are
advertising,
they
I
heard
it
on
the
way
to
work
one
day
they
were
advertising
their
job
fair
on
Y102.
This
is
something
that
I
had
mentioned
previously.
I,
don't
know.
If
any
of
you
know
this,
but
before
I
worked
for
school
district
I
worked
13
years
for
retail
and
for
four
of
those
years
I
was
in
personnel
and
what
we
would
do
would
advertise
I
was
told
that
we
could
possibly
have
a
billboard
that
sounded
amazing.
V
To
me,
I
mean
right
here.
3.95
everybody
come
in
and
going
a
billboard.
You
know
upcoming
job
fair,
you
know
jobs,
Adelanto
website,
I
haven't
seen
it
nit.
We
now
have
10
classified
employees,
we've
been
short
staffed
for
quite
a
while
I
understand
that
a
lot
of
people
are
not
applying
or
qualified.
V
V
They
are
overworked.
We've
seen
other
other
school
districts
have
many
more
people
in
personnel.
I've
heard
that
the
previous
Personnel
director
was
able
to
do
it.
We
were
in
covid,
they
weren't
doing
anything
for
a
long
time.
So
here
we
come.
We
open
up.
We
had
40
vacancies.
40
vacancies
throughout
classified.
V
V
So
we
are
going
to
be
negotiating
again
on
Friday
I'm,
hoping
that
we
can
ta
I'm,
hoping
that
you
can
go
back
to
your
closed
session
and
talk
about
what
was
discussed
here.
I
want
to
thank
our
many
classified
staff
here
who
showed
up
today.
Thank
you
very
much.
V
Q
Good
evening
board,
my
name
is
grayling
yishun
I
am
the
signed
bargaining
agent
for
the
California
School
Employees
Association
I
have
been
with
this
local
since
2019
winner
of
2019,
and
what
I
can
say
is
is
that
these
are
some
of
the
most
hard-working
dedicated
people
I've
ever
encountered
in
my
life
I
never
hear
any
negativity
from
them.
I
never
hear
any.
You
know
illegitimate
complaints.
There's
also
you
know,
there's
occasional
gripes
here
and
there
there
are
legitimate.
Q
But
the
consensus
is
this
it's
about
respect
and
it
sounds
like,
and
just
through
my
examination
through
documents
to
history,
there's
been
years
of
neglect
and
I
work
with
three
other
districts
and
I
know.
This
is
a
heavy
load,
because
you
can't
do
everything
at
one
time,
but
we
need
to
make
Progressive
steps
in
getting
things
done.
Q
We
started
a
reclassification
process,
we're
still
working
on
that.
It's
almost
two
years
we're
advocating
for
a
higher
bonus,
because
we
have
to
also
realize
the
diversity
of
our
bargaining
unit.
They
are
not
all
eight
hour
employees
with
benefits.
Q
So
all
we're
asking
you
here
today
is
that
you
hear
the
voices
of
these
classified
employee
employees
recognized
them
as
part
of
this
community
because
they
do
contribute
to
this
community
in
so
many
different
ways,
whether
it
is
processing
the
things
behind
the
scenes,
driving
the
kids
to
school,
feeding
them
doing
your
I.T
work,
I
mean
they,
they
carry
a
heavy
load
and
they've
been
struggling
and
carrying
the
water
for
this
district
for
a
long
time.
So
we
just
ask
you
to
take
this
in
consideration.
Q
When
you
go
onto
the
board,
we
look
forward
to
meeting
on
the
28th,
which
is
this
Friday
and
our
goal
is
to
close.
But
you
have
to
understand.
We
have
these
people
standing
behind
us
to
tell
us
what
to
do.
G
G
Y
Good
evening,
good
evening
to
all
those
in
attendance
today
in
person
and
Via
Zoom,
thank
you
for
allowing
me
to
speak
today.
I
started
off
in
this
District
as
a
parent
volunteer,
my
principal
at
the
time
encouraged
me
to
apply
I
did
and
eight
years
later
here
we
are
others
that
work
beside
me
have
recently
moved
on
to
neighboring
districts
offering
higher
wages.
Yet
employees
such
as
myself
and
the
Sea
of
blue
you
see
standing
behind
me
are
here
we're
still
here
and
do
you
know
why?
Y
Because
we
care
we
genuinely
care
and
we
are
invested
in
the
growth
of
our
students,
because
we
are
the
change
we
want
to
see
and
by
molding
and
supporting
these
young
lives
in
turn,
we
are
building
up
strong
and
capable
individuals,
those
you
call
stakeholders,
we
know
as
family.
We
have
built
trust
with
these
families.
They
rely
on
us
daily
to
protect
and
educate
their
children
when
they
are
in
our
care,
no
matter
what
department
we
may
work
in,
we
impact
our
students
in
positive
ways
daily
as
bus
drivers
and
bus
aides.
Y
We
are
the
first
faces
our
children
see
once
at
school.
Cns
provides
for
some
the
first
meal
since
the
day
before
Proctors
office
staff,
I.T
and
teachers
take
the
Baton
to
ensure
the
physical,
technological
and
emotional
safety
of
each
child,
so
they
can
have
a
productive
environment
to
grow.
Within
many
meetings,
I
have
sat
here
and
heard
you
preach
about
transparency.
It
is
in
fact
obvious
and
extremely
transparent
that
as
a
board
and
as
our
leaders,
you
see
us
as
less
mediocre.
Y
Even
a
wise
woman
once
said,
appreciation
and
gratitude,
don't
pay
the
bills
and
unfortunately,
as
our
leaders,
your
actions
are
showing
us.
You
do
not
appreciate
us,
nor
are
you
grateful
for
us.
You
seem
to
have
no
idea
how
blessed
you
are
to
have
such
committed
classified
employees
that
show
up
daily
ready
to
impact
the
lives
of
our
aesc
children.
Thank
you
for
your
time.
W
Have
any
of
the
board
members
ever
been
a
classified
employee?
If
so,
have
any
of
you
ever
felt
unappreciated?
My
name
is
Cynthia
Rodriguez
I
am
a
paraprofessional
and
a
Severe
profound
class
at
Gus.
Franklin
I
have
been
a
loyal
employee
to
this
district
for
17
years.
I
love
my
job
I
love,
making
a
difference
in
a
child's
life,
no
matter
how
big
or
how
small
my
job
duties
include.
Assisting
children
in
wheelchairs
assisting
in
physical
therapy
such
can
include
transferring
a
child
into
an
Adaptive
bike.
W
W
W
Our
District
offers
six
hour
paraprofessionals
like
myself,
a
55
siphon.
Now,
let's
do
the
math
55
times
10
550
divide
that
by
182
days
comes
out
to
three
dollars
and
two
cents
extra
a
day
divide
that
by
six
hours,
that's
around
50
cents,
extra
for
changing
diapers
and
helping
in
personal
hygiene.
Wage
difference
is
what's
keeping
people
awake?
What
makes
the
district
think
that
50
cents
extra
to
the
hour
is
going
to
help
people
it's
going
to
want
people
to
apply
as
a
paraprofessional
or
yet
alone
any
other
positions,
let's
be
transparent.
W
W
So
why
is
the
district
saying
no
to
a
four
percent
off
schedule?
What
is
the
reason?
The
district
believes
we
don't
deserve.
An
increase
in
salary
be
transparent.
The
cost
of
living
has
gone
up.
Food
along
with
daily
Essentials,
like
gas
prices
have
increased
due
to
inflation.
I
was
forced
to
get
a
second
job,
I
Uber
on
the
weekends,
in
order
to
help
pay
bills
and
groceries
with
that
being
said,
I
believe
the
district
can
help
retain
employees
by
giving
all
classified
an
increase
of
salary.
W
We
are
all
here
for
the
children
and
we
all
work
very
hard,
no
matter
how
big
or
how
small
of
the
job
we
deserve.
A
12
12
increase
and
a
five
percent
off
schedule,
not
a
four,
not
a
three
five
percent.
We
don't
make
teacher
salary
make
us
feel
appreciated.
Just
like.
We
appreciate
your
time
and
commitment
as
board
members.
Thank
you.
Z
Hello
good
evening
trustees,
cabinet,
Teachers,
Community
stakeholders
and
my
fellow
CSEA
members
I'm
here
tonight,
not
only
to
show
support
for
our
csca
members,
but
also
to
voice
how
incredibly
disappointed
our
members
are
with
this
District,
when
our
members
heard
that
the
district
was
unwilling
to
even
match
the
percentage
of
our
off-schedule
pay
to
that
of
the
teachers,
you
can
imagine
how
we
might
have
felt
if
you
can't.
Let
me
give
you
an
idea:
they
don't
matter
they're
just
classified
staff.
Z
Z
Z
They
don't
matter
they're
only
responsible
for
providing
a
majority
of
our
students
with
Transportation,
so
that
this
school
district
can
receive
the
Ada
money
which
helps
fund
the
district
as
a
whole.
Classified
staff.
Doesn't
matter
is
the
message
being
heard
by
the
members
of
CSEA
from
this
district
and
we
are
tired
of
it.
So
I
am
here
tonight
to
urge
this
board
and
cabinet
to
seriously
consider
what
does
matter
in
this
District
because
from
where
we're
standing,
it
isn't
your
staff.
Thank
you.
AA
Good
evening
cabinet
trustees
classified
and
certificated
employees,
as
well
as
parents
and
students
that
have
shown
up
to
support
our
classified
I'm.
Just
grateful
to
be
here
to
be
able
to
speak
to
you
from
the
heart.
I
was
planning
a
speech
over
and
over
and
as
I
was
praying
as
I
was
going
to
speak.
I
felt
God
say
speak
from
your
heart,
so
I
want
to
introduce
myself
I'm
Vanessa
Padilla
I
work
at
Gus
Franklin
as
a
secretary
I
have
been
working
in
this
district
for
close
to
12
years.
AA
AA
The
differences
of
wages
that
are
being
offered
to
certificated
and
classified
are
non-comparable
and
I
feel
and
believe
that
our
district
would
face
a
devastating
impact
without
classified
employees
and
staff
and
I.
Ask
that
the
trustees
recognize
the
value
that
we
play
day-to-day
in
the
school
functioning.
I
asked
the
superintendent
hi.
Excuse
me
I.
Ask
that
you
would
negotiate
our
wages
and
I.
Ask
that
you
would
that
those
negotiation
wages
would
reflect
the
value
of
our
employees
and
their
commitment
to
the
students,
staff
and
Community.
AA
AA
AA
I,
personally,
don't
want
to
go
anywhere
else:
I
love.
What
I
do
I
love
the
children
that
I
work
with
the
staff,
the
families
the
community
I
pour
into
their
lives
every
single
day,
as
well
as
my
classified
members
behind
me
each
day
we
come
to
work
to
serve
our
children
in
our
community
and
we
just
hope-
and
we
pray
that
you
see
the
value
in
what
we
do
and
what
we
contribute
to
our
to
our
students
and
our
families,
and
so
we
have
all
been
called
according
to
a
purpose
working
in
education.
AA
We
are
called
to
serve
important
to
the
lives
of
our
students.
They
are
the
priority
and
I
pray
that
we
don't
lose
sight
of
that
in
all
of
this
discussion,
but
for
those
of
us
that
serve
in
the
capacity
of
classified
employees,
I
hope
that
you
see
our
value
and
the
value
we
have
in
serving
the
children
and
their
families.
Thank
you.
AB
Hello,
I'd
like
to
say
hello
and
good
evening
to
everyone
present
and
everyone
attending
this
meeting
via
Zoom
I
want
to
start
by
saying
that
I
appreciate
Adelanto
school
district
for
allowing
me
to
serve
the
district
for
18
years.
I've
had
the
opportunity
to
work
with
many
wonderful
and
dedicated
certificated
and
classified
staff.
AB
AB
We
were
shown
our
value
by
the
district
when
our
bus
drivers
spoke
at
board
meetings
and
had
asked
for
help
with
their
department
and
said
if
they
didn't
get
the
help
that
was
needed,
then
they
would
be
willing
to
leave
help,
never
came
so
most
of
them
left
left
to
different
districts
and
for
more
pay.
My
my
dad
another
great
indicator
that
helps
us
in
determining
our
worth
to
you
are
the
offers
that
are
being
made
to
our
negotiating
team.
At
this
very
moment.
AB
AB
You
all
may
not
usually
see
a
lot
of
CSEA
members
attending
these
board
meetings,
and
you
may
be
wondering
why
you
also
may
be
wondering
why
we've
lost
so
many
classified
employees
well
I'm
here
to
answer
both
of
those
questions
for
you.
It's
because
it's
easier
to
apply
and
get
hired
at
any
other

AB
This
district
has
even
crossed
my
own
mind
as
well
as
many
others
that
I
work
with,
but
for
now
we're
sticking
it
out.
So
I
beg
you.
Please
start
treating
us
like
we
matter
to
you.
This
one
thing
could
be
the
deciding
factor
on
whether
or
not
you
continue
to
lose
your
classified
staff.
Thank
you.
God
bless
you
all
and
may
He
place
it
in
your
hearts
to
make
the
right
decisions
on
behalf
of
all
of
the
lives
that
you
all
affect
here.
Thank
you.

here
today
to
thank
you
on
behalf
of
our

Mr

Mr

Miss

our
parents,
and
especially
our

for
sending
us
to
the
National

in
Sacramento.
B
It
was
fulfilling
to
see
our
students
excited
and
committed
to
the
to
their
work,
to
see
them
realize
the
possibilities
as
they
explore.

I'm,
looking
forward
to
next

Next
year's
competition
we
might
bring
even
more
medals,
with
the
experience
that
we
have
gathered.
I
would
like
to
welcome
anybody
else
that
would
like
to
speak
and
say
whatever
you
want
to
say.
Thank.

All
right,
so
we
have
a
student
here
and
he
has
two
medals.
One
is
from
the
the
county.
He
got
a
champion
for
County,
which
was
the
county,
this
one
Champion
for
County,
and
then
he
has
also
the
one
from
Sacramento
where
he
was.
Let
me
run
her
up
for

Had
more

they
had
to

here
are
our

the

from

Madam

we'd
like
to
Mr

if
you

if

this

asking.

Board

Education.
AD
We've
been
in
ASD
for
about
15
years,
so
we
have
progressively
been
getting
more
involved
throughout
the
years.
It
has
come
to
my
attention
that
many
of
our
very
valuable
caring
classified
staff,
as
well
as
teachers,
are
leaving
due
to
better
pay
and
working
conditions.
W
AD
Love
them
and
we
trust
them,
and
you
know
it's
it's
just
so
sad
that
this
is
going
on
and
we.
K
AD
For
bus
drivers,
which
I
continue
to
see
well,
which
left
and
then
I
continue
to
see
that
that
is
getting
worse
with
the
whole
transportation
department,
I
think
worse
than
ever,
I
don't
know
how
families
that
needs
need
this
service
and
our
schools
have
done
it.
This
far,.
AD
I
notice
a
lot
of
our
office
administrators
spending
so
much
time
letting
parents
know
about
the
bus
route,
changes
lacking
of
buses,
complaints
from
parents
that
are
obviously
righteously
angry
and
all
the
confusion
and
the
worry
this
is
all
creates-
and
you
know
this
is
the
this
could
have
been
prevented
by
actually
carrying
and
fixing
the
problem
months
ago,
and
our
classified
staff
is
continues
to
be
abused.
AD
Well,
for
me,
I
I
believe
it's
abuse,
and
this
has
happened
for
years
without
Fair
compensation,
Fair
working
environment
bonuses,
Etc,
we
love
our
classified
staff,
their
their
family.
They
are
the
loving
familiar
faces.
Our
children
come
to
every
morning
every
day,
I've
known
many
for
close
to
10
years
and
I
don't
want
to
see
them
go.
We
don't
want
to
see
them.
We
keep
our
school.
We
keep
our
kids
in
this
school
district
because
we
trust
them.
Please
consider
this.
AD
Negotiations
and
I
I
will
personally
join
anything
that
I
need
to
to
make
a
point
heard.
You
know
if
it's
protests,
if
it's
pulling
out
my
kids,
whatever
it
is
whatever
it
takes,
we
love
our
our
well
all
our
our

staff
and
our.
G
Madam
President,
we
do
have
adri
on
a
young
Mr
Duran.
Is
she
in
the
zoom
meeting
this
evening.
G
How
about
Mr,
Matt
Carlson.
A
E
E
President,
yes
I'm
sorry
I
just
got
a
mo
a
message
from
Dr
dwyzan
saying
that
we
can
only
expel
one
year.
A
E
I
would
like
to
amend
the
second,
the
second
part
of
that
motion
to
admit
the
student
for
the
remainder
of
the
second
semester,
to
the
Hope
program
and
expel
for
the
first
and
second
semester
of
the
23-24
school
year.
E
E
Okay,
my
first
motion
stands:
if
the
the
parent
agrees
that
to
send
the
child
to
hope
for
the
remainder
of
the
second
semester
of
the
22
23
school
year
and
the
first
and
second
semester
of
the
23-24
school
year,
and
that's
if
the
parent
agreed
to
that
motion
am
I
correct
on
that.
Okay,
so
the
second
part
of
that
that
the
parent
refuses
to.
E
Agree
to
the
first
motion,
then
I
accept
the
administrative
hearing
panel
recommendation
to
expel
for
the
remainder
of
the
second
semester
and
the
first
semester
of
the
23-24
school
year
and
the
child
will
return
back
to
May
cylinder.
A

I
A

E
And
plus
you're
trying
to
pull
this
motion
and
it's
the
renewal
retainer
agreement
with
the
Titan
Empire
group,
I
I
would
like
us
to
I'm
looking
to
another
investigation
company.
In
addition
to
Thailand.
C
A
AC
I
forgot
her
name,
though
I'm
sorry,
Karen,
closer
I'm,
horrible,
I,
I
I
think
I
have
to
be
like
air
and
Anna
Fair
Ferris.
You
know.
Caravan
girls
are
because
I'm
horrible
with
names
but
I
am
I
will
be
vote
I
for
you,
because
I'm
really
excited
sorry
excited
to
see
what
you
can
do
at
Columbia
and
that's
all
I
had
to
say.
A
I
I
We
know
it's
it's
a
big
challenge
right
now,
so
I'm
very
excited
to
to.
Hopefully,
if
the
board
approves
you
to
be
working
alongside
you,
so
congratulations
for
making
it
this
far.
F
E
I
miss
Cozart,
welcome,
back
and
I'm,
looking
forward
to
all
the
the
great
things
that
you
were
bringing
back
to
Columbia
under
your
leadership,
I
think
our
parents
and
their
students
and
our
staff
would
really
appreciate.
You
know
the
structure
that
you
will
bring
to
that
site.
So
congratulations.
A
C
E
E
F
X
E
Partner
Mr
Rogers
I
just
want
to
say
that
it's
always
a
pleasure
to
hire
within
someone
that
has
come
through
our
school
system
and
has
given
back,
and
you
are
definitely
a
part
of
our
family
and
looking
at
the
work
that
you've
done
over
the
years.
E
You
know
as
a
custodian
as
a
as
a
substitute
or
whatever
part-time,
also
as
a
basketball,
coach
and
going
to
west
side
park,
which
you
mentioned
today,
and
we
all
know,
is
one
of
our
oldest
schools,
but
that
school
was
always
spotless
and
it
is
always
spotless
and
I
just
want
to
say
that
congratulations
on
this
promotion
and
this
opportunity
and
I
know
that
it
could
go
even
higher
in
your
young
life
and
so
one
day
we're
going
to
be
celebrating
30
and
40
Years
of
your
career
with
us.
So
congratulations.
AC
Mr
Rogers,
that's
right,
I
just
want
to
say
you
you,
it
just
struck
me
right
now.
Sorry.
AC
You
know
I
was
thinking
of
the
things
you
said
and
the
pride
you
have
in
your
your
work
and
you
remind
mind
me
a
lot
of
my
my
dad,
which
he
would
say
and
any
job
Wars
Doom
doing
is
worth
doing
doing,
right
and-
and
you
really
strike
strike
me
with
with
that
old
school
work.
F,
f
ethic
and
I
I
appreciate
that
and
I
do
look
for
forward
to
seeing
you
you
know
shine
in
in
our
disc
District.
So
thank
thank.
I
I
A
My
glasses
on
so
I
can
see
you
I.
Do
this
all
day,
long
on
and
off
on
and
off,
I
want
to
say.
Congratulations
and
I
want
to
thank
you
for
the
dedication
that
you've
had
for
these
years
at
our
schools
and
to
hear
you
speak
on
what
you
do.
You
speak
with
such
passion
and
I
want
to
thank
you
Z.
Can
you
call
for
the
vote
please?
So
we
can
make
this
official
yes
trustee,
Soto.
So.
C
I
C
C
AC
E
A
I
did
take
a
look
at
this
policy,
and
I
am
front
lining
the
no
cell
phones
and
helping
our
teachers
and
our
students
with
this
cell
phone
epidemic,
where
everyone
has
these
cell
phones
out
and
it's
I'm
hindering
our
learning.
It's
hindering
our
teachers
being
able
to
teach.
A
However,
I
will
say
that
when
I
read
the
policy,
I
will
come
back
to
it.
I,
don't
think
that
the
police
policy
is
strong
enough
and
I,
don't
really
see
the
discipline
on
someone
being
suspended.
A
I
can
still
see
that
it
says
things
about
the
teachers
putting
it
inside
of
some
box.
I
wouldn't
want
our
teachers
to
be
held
responsible
for
someone's
fifteen
hundred
dollar
cell
phone
I
think
that
it
should
have
something
to
do
with
the
parents
having
a
more
active
role
in
their
children,
keeping
their
cell
phones
at
home
if
they
continue
to
take
them
out.
E
D
C
B
E
Vote
to
amend
a
motion
to
include
the
recommendations
that
President
love
French
mentioned.
F
A
E
A
motion
to
amend
this
policy
only
because
it
has
language
in
it,
but
I,
don't
think
that
fit
our
students
on
section
four
on
it's
talk
about
test
and
assessment
testing
assessments.
E
I,
don't
see
how
our
staff
can
assess
and
test
students
here.
So
why
would
we
have
this
here
and
then
it
goes
on
to
talk
about.
E
A
survey
instrument
requesting
information
about
their
personal
belief
and
practices
are
those
of
their
children.
You
know
non-emergency
physical
examination
statement,
I,
don't
know
if
our
nurses,
the
we're
qualified
to
do
that,
and
under
what
circumstances
would
we
be
doing
this
testing.
E
We're
a
K-8
district
and
I
know
in
administrative
regulations
to
talk
about
7th
through
12th
grade,
and
you
know,
students
are
more
they're
older
and
some
of
those
students
are
18
years
old.
E
A
L
A
Calling
for
the
vote
for
the
changes
to
be
made
and
brought
back
for
the
second
reading
got
it
okay.
So
it's
moved
by
Turner
second,
by
20
trusty
bands
to
amend
this
policy
and
bring
changes
back
to
the
next
reading.
C
E
Okay,
I
I
want
I.
You
know
I
motion
to
amend
this,
this
administrative
regulation
again
surveys
requesting
information
about
beliefs
and
practices-
and
it
says
here-
student
parent,
guardian
or
student,
who.
L
L
E
Shall
provide
priority
consent
before
the
student
is
required
to
participate
in
a
survey
requiring
about
one
or
more
of
the
following
political
affiliations
or
belief
of
the
students
or
of
his
apparent
government
mental.
You
know,
I
feel
that
we're
going
a
little
bit
too
far
here,
in
my
opinion,
we're
K-8
district
and.
E
I
think
we
need
to
modify
I'm
willing.
I
would
like
to
say
modified
based
on
if
it,
if
it's
something
that
is
a
state
law,
that
we
have
to
put
this
language
in
here
and
then
so
be
it.
But
if
we
don't
then
I
don't
feel
that
we
should
just
because
it's
here.
A
B
X
Let
me
do
it
good
evening,
aesd
family.
Thank
you
for
taking
the
time
to
tune
in
tonight.
It's
my
pleasure
tonight
to
highlight
some
of
the
amazing
talent
we
have
here
in
our
aesd
family
I.
First
want
to
mention
Ramon
Rizzo
over
at
AES,
as
I
got
the
pleasure
of
listening
to
morning.
Announcements
kicking
off
a
day
with
such
enthusiasm
and
encouragement
was
motivational
motivational.
X
Our
district
is
over
at
the
Braddock
Bears
Mr
Carlson
was
nice
enough
to
share
some
awesome
plant
diagrams
that
my
understanding
was
to
be
a
3D
model
of
some
sort,
and
so
I
do
want
to
give
a
shout
out
and
a
thank
you
to
all
of
those
doing
such
amazing
work.
A
few
more
acknowledgments
I
want
to
shout
out
to
the
amazing
students
who
have
competed
across
our
district.
We
have
seen
so
many
awards
tonight,
especially
our
El
Mirage
students,
who
competed
in
the
future
Business
Leaders
of
America.
X
Congratulations
on
the
hard
work
and
all
of
your
accomplishments.
I
also
was
able
to
attend.
The
Conference
held
this
last
week,
where
I
acquired
more
knowledge
on
how
Human
Resources
work
I
appreciate
the
time
I
am
able
to
better
understand
any
operations
within
this
district
and
thankfully,
coming
back
I
was
able
to
skip
a
lot
of
the
traffic
which
allowed
me
the
ability
to
attend
poetry
night
over
at
George.
Bappa
I
want
to
personally
appreciate
B
Martin
and
the
encouragement
and
support
she
held
for
every
individual
who
went
up
to
recite.
X
In
fact,
a
shout
out
to
all
George
bappa's
staff,
as
I
saw
many
out
supporting
students
and
each
other.
It
was
truly
amazing
to
see
the
support
of
that
entire
site.
My
computer
just
died,
so
it
saved
you
from
the
rest
of
my
speech.
My
last
comment
will
be
a
additional
appreciation
for
Miss
levay,
as
she
really
does
support
this
entire
board
she's
one
of
the
most
knowledgeable
individuals,
I
know
and
I
cannot
begin
to
tell
you
how
many
times
you've
saved
me
from
all
the
countless
questions
I've
had.
L
I
Man
all
right
good
evening,
everyone,
along
with
my
colleagues
I,
was
able
to
attend
the
Shell
Beach
Conference
last
week.
Unfortunately,
I
was
not
feeling
too
well
by
the
second
night,
so
I
couldn't
enjoy
it
as
much
as
I
would
like
to.
However,
I
was
able
to
push
through
and
I
was
able
to
attend
all
three
breakout
sessions.
I
On
the
first
day,
I
attended
the
personal
developing
development,
managing
generational
differences
in
the
workplace
session,
for
obvious
reasons.
On
the
second
day,
governance
and
Leadership,
cultivating
and
building
your
governance,
team
and
negotiation,
boot
camp
techniques
for
becoming
a
stronger
and
more
effective,
effective
negotiator.
I
So
I
look
forward
to
getting
to
know
the
community
more
and
to
grow
in
this
new
role
that
I've
that
I've
been
placed
in
I
also
want
to
thank
the
staff
and
my
colleagues
for
their
patience
with
me.
I'm
reaching
my
one
month
in
this
position.
So
I
want
to
thank
everybody
for
their
patience
with
me.
I
hope
everyone
has
a
wonderful
night
and
thanks
for
listening.
AC
Do
students
from
the
span
Spanish
club
from
column
Columbia
it
take,
takes
a
lot
to
perform
in
front
front
of
us
packed
house
I
know
but
I
a
pre-appreciate
them
and
their
their
parents
and
Miss
Mrs
Angulo
for
come
coming
out
and
sharing
sharing
what
what
what
they
they
do
and
on
a
side
note
my
mom
is
from
so
I
was
like.
Oh
a
purple.
AC
My
my
ears
I
also
want
to
thank
Dr
Ward
for
spearhead
doing
the
the
FBLA,
because
that
has
had
an
incredible
pause,
positive
in
impact
on
our
school
as
well
as
our
disc
District
I
was
so
impressed
with
the
student
students
who
pre
present
zented
and
Miss
Ruth
her
and
hernand
nandis.
If
your
list
loose
loosening
wow,
you
are
going
going
to
to
be
a
force
to
to
be
reckoned
with
in
high
school
and
I.
AC
Can't
wait,
wait
to
see
what
you
do
there
and
I
just
hope
that
all
all
is
well
in
the
dis
District
during
during
testing
and
I
could
not
attend
the
Shell
Shell
Beach,
because
I
was
in
South
Carolina
for
my
son's
grad
graduation
from
boot
camp
and
yes,
I'm.
Just
going
to
be
proud
all
over,
so
you
all
are
going
to
be
sick,
sick,
sick
of
me
after
this
so
I
hope
you
all
have
a
good
good
night
trustee
Turner.
E
Okay,
my
turn
there's
a
lot
going
on
in
our
district
right
now
and
a
lot
of
positive
things.
That's
happening.
First
of
all,
I
want
to
congratulate
again
our
new
hires
we're
looking
forward
to.
Were
you
not
new
to
us
just
just
welcome
back
and
welcome
on
your
promotion.
Congratulations
on
your
promotion
to
both
of
you.
E
I
have
an
opportunity
to
visit
our
whole
program
a
couple
weeks
back
last
at
the
last
board
meeting
we
didn't
have
time
so
I
forego
my
comments,
but
I
just
wanted
to
reach
out
to
Mrs,
Fernandez
and
Mrs.
What
is
the
other
team?
Mrs
Flores
you?
They
have
done
a
tremendous
job
in
that
program.
E
I
had
a
chance
to
speak
to
every
single
last
one
of
the
students
and
on
a
personal
basis,
just
the
student
and
I
talking
and
every
last
one
of
them
talked
about
how
exciting
the
program
was.
They
didn't
want
to
talk
about
what
took
them
there.
They
just
wanted
to
talk
about
what
they're
getting
out
of
it
is
a
very
competitive
program
academically.
E
They
can
go
on
that
system
and
monitor
their
work
and
their
progress
and
and
they're
so
excited
about
what
they're
doing
there
I
wish
that
we
had
more
classes
there
and
more
teachers,
because
our
students
need
that
program.
You
know
and
they've
gone
through
a
lot
during
the
covet
Years
and
we're
still,
basically
in
it
we're
coming
out
of
it,
but
kovic
still
exists
and
our
kids
have
suffered.
E
Some
children
did
well,
others
didn't,
and
some
of
the
behaviors
that
they're
displaying
is
the
social
emotional
issues
that
they're
facing
and
the
whole
program
has
given
them
hope
that
they
can
do
better
in
school.
They
may
not
go
back
to
their
original
school,
but
I'm
sure
that
they'll
do
well
in
high
school
and
that's
what
we're
looking
for
we're
looking
to
change
that
behavior
around,
because
they
are
children.
These
are
children
that
we're
talking
about
it
was
so
I
was
so
excited
to
hear
our
history
winners.
E
E
We're
just
going
to
continue
with
that,
and
you
know,
give
our
children
some
memories
of
some
great
memories,
even
though
they
went
through
covet,
they
are
coming
out
of
it
and
doing
things
that
they're
excited
to
do
and
our
future
Business
Leaders
of
America
that
that
program
has
just
sparked
a
wildfire
fire
and
you
know
and
I
I'm,
hoping
that
a
lot
of
our
schools
just
pick
up
on
that
and
send
our
students.
We
got
some
great.
We
have
some
amazing
kids,
you
know
even
the
ones
that
get
into
trouble.
E
You
know
we
just
have
to
learn
how
to
channel
that
behavior
and
move
it
around,
and
you
know
Ron
Clark
Academy
when
I
visited
that
school
they
had
some
challenges
and
hearing
Mr
Clark
talk
about
when
he
was
a
teacher.
Well,
he
still
is
a
teacher
how
he
turned
a
lot
of
his
fifth
graders
around
and
their
Business
Leaders
right
now
with
big
high
executive
positions
at
major
companies,
Dr
Ward
awesome,
awesome.
L
E
There,
our
Spanish
club
that
performance
was
amazing.
It
got
me
back
brought
me
back
to
my
eighth
grade
performance
I.
Did
that
dance
I
did
that
through
the
eighth
grade
it's
100
years
ago,
but
I
did.
E
It
was
really
I
love
our
presentations.
You
know,
I
love
to
see
our
boardrooms
is
filled
with
learning
and
filled
with
excitement.
You
know
from
our
teachers
and
and
our
students
and
our
parents
getting
involved
and
I'm.
Just
looking
for
more
of
that,
and
with
that
being
said,
I
did
attend
Pismo
Beach
Conference.
E
What
I'm
looking
for
is,
you
know,
maybe
doing
some
workshops
and
some
subject
matters
that
we
need
to
address,
such
as
our
expulsion
process,
and
you
know
getting
more
information
on
that,
so
it
will
be
up
to
date
on
what
we're
doing
so
when
you
won't
hear
this
miscommunications
that
we're
hearing
up
here.
Okay,
you
know
it's
kind
of
embarrassing
and
I
have
to
take
the
blame
for
that,
but.
E
Knowledge
is
key,
so
we're
going
to
expand
our
knowledge
because
we're
still
learning
it
too,
even
after
all
the
years
I've
been
on
the
board,
I'm
here
still
learning.
So
with
that
being
said,
it's
late
and
I
wish
everyone
a
safe
trip
home
and
again,
congratulations
on
our
on
our
20
25
and
30
year
old,
nine-year-old
years
of
service.
So
congratulations
again
thanks.
A
A
I
did
so
when
I
first
joined
the
board,
we
had
some
curriculum
or
something
that
we
had
adopted
that
had
to
do
with
our
sex
education
for
the
children
I
I'd
like
to
know
if
we
I
can
find
out
where
that
go.
Where
is
that
curriculum
right
now?
Are
we
teaching
it
and
when
was
the
last
time
that
we've
had
sex
education
in
our
middle
schools?.
G
A
G
Since
then,
our
goal
is
to
bring
it
back
to
the
board
for
review
in
the
next
month
or
so
for
the
board
to
formally
adopt
a
curriculum,
because
the
board
does
have
to
adopt
it
in
order
for
it
to
be
implemented
in
our
district
as
a
part
of
the
curriculum
process.
G
A
A
Everyone
have
a
safe
drive
home
or
if
you're
in
Zoom
land,
you
can
just
turn
us
off.
All
right
have
a
nice
one.
Thank
you.
Oh
I
need
a
motion.
Yes,
you
know
I
get
up
at
4
45
in
the
morning
dry
for
two
hours
to
get
to
work.
I
get
a
little
tired
at
this
time
of
night.
Okay,
moving
to
section
18
of
German
can
I
get
a
motion
to
a
germ.
A
Love
French
I
motion
pass
five
zero.
Thank
you
very
much
for
coming.
The
time
is
1008..
Thank
you.
So
mad.
