Description
The Committee walked through the Capital Hills' golf course in preparation for the joint meeting of General Services, Health and Environment & Parks, Recreation, and Family Services committee meeting on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 5:30pm.
A
City,
your
may
I
mean
you
can
go
to
I'm
a
non-resident
the
place
connected
immunity
for
$50
people
come
here.
58.
That's
a
lot
of
money
to
play
golf
at
a
municipal
golf
course.
You
know.
Listen
if
you're
a
rich
dude.
You
want
to
play
private
clubs,
that's
one
thing,
but
for
John
Q
public
who
works
in
the
retired
people
and
people
on
low
incomes.
This
was
the
pace
and
it's
a
gorgeous
golf
course.
Well
grown
beautiful,
there's
a
book!
I,
don't
know!
If
anybody
heard
it's
called
bogeys
and
Billy
Goats,
it's
was
written.
A
A
Camp
that
they
run
about
three
or
four
weeks
during
the
summer,
we
bring
them
way
out
there
so
when
they
hit
they
hit
back
this
way
and
then
once
you
walk
out,
there
you'll
see
that
it
goes
down
where
the
old
course
used
to
be
and
they
set
up
games
for
them
in
different
areas
to
hit
the
ball
to,
and
you
know,
competitions
and
whatnot,
and
we
have
kids
that
range
from
five
years
old,
probably
up
to
twelve.
You
know.
A
Absolutely
you
know,
the
price
is
right.
You
know
they
get
lunch
included
with
whatever
they
you
know
the
cost
is
you
know
you
have
a
junior
player
that
coaches
them.
You
have
the
art
pro
who's
out
there
giving
lessons
and
it's
you
know
it's
not
just
for
kids
who
want
to
be
golfers.
It's
just
a
great
thing.
You
know,
and
it's
an
extra
camp
to
give
your
kids.
You
know
instead
of
a
basketball.

Will
see
this
early
and
there's
always
water,
but
they
won't
because
of
look
at
the
laws
and
the
virus
and
I
want
you
to
know
they
cleat.
They
change
the
water
every
single
day.
There's
a
lot
of
the
golf
courses.
They
don't
change
the
water.
The
truck
goes
by
with
the
order
and
ice
every
single
day
and
I
complain
because
they
weren't
cleaning
the
spicket.
So
now
they
clean
the
spicket.

Yeah,
the
golf
outings
they
do-
probably
fifteen
or
twenty
a
year
here
normally
and
those
are
140
to
200
golfers,
generates
a
ton
of
revenue
and
there's
a
fee
that
Roger
kicks
back
to
the
city
for
any
outing
that
he
has
there
in
the
restaurant.
So
it's
extra
revenue
when
the
course
wasn't
open
for
that
period
of
time,
a
lot
of
people
that
planned
outings
for
next
year,
booked
them
elsewhere,
because
they
were
afraid
capitals
was
not
gonna
reopen.
So
there
was
this
opportunity
for
outings
that
didn't
happen,
plus
the
Symetra
Tour.
