A
In
the
park
select
committee
topic
of
discussion
today
is
programs.
The
city
of
Albany
Department
has
to
offer
for
our
youth
and
how
the
programs
can
be
improved
to
my
right
is
when
the
committee
is
joyce
love
loose,
one
on
a
Cathy
also
present
is
Derek
Johnson.
It
was
currently
in
the
in
the
bathroom,
so
today
we're
gonna
talk
about
the
programs
that
you
currently
have
right
now
throughout
the
city
of
Albany.
Ok,
so
introduce
yourself
and
your
title
will
be
great.
No.

C
Does
this
is
a
shared
service
with
the
school
yeah?
They
do
I
believe
they're.
They
do
the
same
service
with
the
schools,
okay,
but
there's
different
sites
throughout
okay
city
of
Albany.
That
will
do
that,
but
we
Hoffman
became
a
site.
We're
not
really
part
of
the
camp
is
a
separate
part
of
the
camp,
but
what
was
separate
from
the
camp,
but
they
can
take
in
part
system
now.
C

A
C
C
Those
are
those
are
less
because
of
the
way
where
we
use
the
coaches
that
that
they
can't.
Actually,
we
have
we're
using
a
lot
of
are
so
many
summer
youth
employers
into
VR
counselors.
We
also
employ
head
counselors
and
the
director
and
assistant
director
all
those
opposed.
Those
people
are
posted
in
my
educators,
so
they
think
work
with
kids
before
yeah.
A
A
A
C
Have
I'm
Elizabeth
singleton,
who
was
a
former
all-star
play
for
Davis
College
and
I,
also
have
John
Walker
who's
actually,
who
coaches
basketball,
420
Clemens
sunrise
put.
A
C
A
C
C
A
J
A
J
C
Of
the
time,
based
on
how
we're
running
the
kid
is,
is
really
regimented
and
we're
looking
at
you
know
we're
looking
at
the
number
of
staff
that
we're
using
we're
trying
to
keep
the
numbers
I
like
a
10
to
1
ratio.
So
we
have
where
higher
they're
hiring
to
like,
really
like
we
did
over
Hoffman.
A
lot
of
our
counselors
will
be
some
of
these
employees
and
we
have
had
counselors
like
3
head
counselors,
who
will
oversee
those
summer.
C
Youth
for
the
the
way
we
have
it
set
up
is
like
three
sections
based
on
age
or
so
you'll
have
a
group
of
10,
say
8
to
8
in
like
6
day,
6
or
7
year
olds
and
then
8
to
9
year
olds
and
then
10
to
12
year
olds.
There's
three
sections
of
those
of
10
10
to
those
children,
and
we
have
two
counselors
for
each
thing.
So
they.
J
The
question
is
like
to
get
the
numbers
up.
You
know
number
one
people
can't
sign
up
for
something
that
they
don't
know
about.
That's
the
first
week
we
are
in
the
process
of
the
second
thing:
is
that's
a
city
being
able
to
meet
the
need?
Because
if
what
July
1st
or
were
July
8th,
200
people
show
up,
you
know
we're
going
to
turn
away.
J
Kids-
and
you
know,
on
the
first
day
of
anything,
Tilly's
expect
the
highest
mothers
and
you
know
so
I'm
glad
to
see
something
on
the
other
side
of
the
city.
So
that
means
that
they
hurt
us
when
we
met
a
couple
months
ago
or
a
month
ago,
and
we
brought
up
the
fact
that
everything
was
on
one
side
of
attack.
So
I'm
happy
with
that
progress,
but
I
just
feel
that's
60,
you
know
just
come
anticipate
60
people
is
not
a
realistic
anticipation
for
area
that
has
nothing
going
on
over
there.
J
J
If
you
hear
it's
only
60
spots,
so
what
I
would
like
to
do
or
what
I
would
like
what
I'm
hoping
to
hear
is
that
we
have
a
long
process,
a
plan
on
how
we're
going
to
get
this
information
out.
You
know
because
it
has
to
be
fair.
You
know
like
if
there's
only
60
spots.
You
know
people
need
to
have
that.
J
You
know
have
access
to
that
information,
because
it
could
be
critical
to
a
family
if
they
know
that
they've
first,
that
they
have
a
long,
that's
the
first
part
of
it
and
then
the
second
thing
is
that
it
looks
like
kids
on
that
side
of
town
from
1
to
4
are,
can
hack
anything
offered
on
that
side
of
10.
So
you
know
we,
you
know
the
the
reason
why
we
wanted
to
have
this
meeting
was
to
you
know,
talk
about
the
you
know
the
community
centers,
and
why
kids
aren't
going
to
the
community
centers
and.
J
D
Yes,
okay,
I
just
want
to
follow
up
with
Derek
I'm,
not
sure
because
I
don't
know
who
had
the
program,
but
last
year
there
was
something
and
there
was
in
park
when
Celeste
Knight
come
up.
Maybe
she
could
talk
about
because
I'm
not
sure
if
you
say
it
was
in
the
city,
there
was
somebody
there
in
that
Park,
because
I
came
by
there
on
several
occasions.
A
D
C
D
J
D
Organize
the
city
of
all,
but
my
question
is
to
the
Livingston
Park:
there
was
programs
there
and
I
seen
them
during
the
daytime
I'm
over
that
way.
Four
to
five
times
a
day
through
the
week
I'm
just
saying
there
was
something
going
on
in
the
park.
It
might
not
been
in
you
guys,
but
there
was
something
going
on
in
the
park.
So
if
you've
got
something
going
on
in
the
park
and
these
people
are
using
it
to
park
at
the
same
time,
is
it
okay.
D
C
A
I
A
A
A
J
C
J
J
That's
a
hundred
and
forty
four
thousand
dollars
that
is
no
longer
going
towards
programming,
and
you
know,
purchase
of
new
equipment
and
things
like
that
that
make
community
centers
attractive
to
kids
and
make
kids
want
to
come
in
there
and
engage.
You
know.
I
have
some
pictures,
that's
going
to
show
the
state
of
you
know
what
you
see
when
you
walk
into
community
centers
today.
So
you
know,
I
have
this
budget
information
and
it's
a
lot
of
money
that
go.
That
goes
through
Parks
and
Recreation,
and
what
you
know.
J
What
I
know
is
that
opportunities
for
adults
are
being
created
at
the
expense
of
our
community
and
when
I
mean
I.
Had
the
expansion
is
because
we
to
$144,000
and
we
have
nothing
to
show
for
it-
you
know
we
get
it
wrong.
We
get
a
great
shot
of
song
and
dance
when
we
come
to
situations
like
this,
but
you
know
when
you
walk
in
to
the
community
centers,
it's
a
totally
different
reality
for
the
workers.
J
This
is
totally
different
reality
for
the
kids,
so
you
know
a
little
disappointed
that
the
commissioners
not
here
I,
understand
that
he's
on
vacation,
but
there's
some
questions
that
the
commissioners
should
be
answer.
You
know-
and
you
know
next
year,
when
we
do
the
budget.
I
will
be
more
first
to
be
able
to
ask
these
questions
when
we
are
deciding
the
budget,
but
you
see
stuff
like
supplies
and
materials
and
when
I'm
communicating
with
the
people
that
work
in
there
there's
no
supplies
and
enough
materials.
J
J
Our
kids
deserve
to
see
we're
gonna
do
stuff
coming
up
and
community
center,
because
it
sends
the
message
to
them
that
someone
is
thinking
of
and
so
like
when
you
when
you
like,
go
through
this
budget,
it's
a
lot
of
money,
that's
coming
in!
That's
never
making
it
and
I
want
to
go
enough.
This
a
simple
question:
where
is
the
money?
Because.
C
A
J
Why
I'm
saying
the
Commissioner
needs
to
be
sitting
here,
because
this
is
stuff?
That's
gonna
factor
in
if
you've
got
the
best
fighter
in
the
nation
in
your
community,
and
he
is
not
fighting
in
that
gym
that
takes
away
from
that
gym.
So
you
know,
and
things
were
supposed
to
go
hand
in
hand,
a
free
gym
and
we
had
the
best
fighter
in
a
nation
that
can't
participate
mention
in.
J
These
are
things
that
are
factoring
into.
You
know
why
these
places
aren't
attractive
because
I'm
gonna
tell
you
something:
if
that
boy
was
up
in
that
jet,
it
would
be
a
lot
other.
A
lot
of
the
younger
kids
will
be
following
him.
It
would
be
the
same
thing
to
happen
when
I
was
an
athlete
coming
up,
we
filed
a
todd,
Holloway
Darion
like
Eric
Turner.
Anybody
that
was
was
getting
publicity
for
doing
playing
basketball
and
doing
it
the
right
way.
So
you
know
Harry.
A
G
I
also
see
what
Kathy
was
saying:
it's
no
secret
right,
we're
in
a
budget
deficit
as
a
city
and
as
much
as
we
would
like
to
say,
there's
money
out
there.
We
have
to
start
looking
at
also
different
partners
like
the
school
district
when
it
comes
to
some
of
you
program
and
facilities
of
locations.
So
I
do
agree
with
Kathy
in
that
sense,
but
also
I
do
believe
that
you
know
well
looking
at
different
locations
all
throughout
the
city.
C
Based
on
what
we
were
trying
to
do
as
far
as
this
is
our
first
you're
trying
to
create
a
program
like
this
in
order
to
be
figure
start,
small
60
was
small
work
with
that
and
then
see
how
it
works
for
for
this
year
and
then,
if
it
jumps
off
properly,
we
can
expand
it
next
year.
As
far
as
the
summer
can
so.
C
A
C
D
I
H
Know
about
that
is
going
to
go,
live
to
the
public
and
on
that
map
it
shows
you
everywhere
in
the
city
that
there
will
be
activities
from
breakfast
through
dinner,
where
students
can
get
free
lunches,
get
free
breakfast
how
to
access
all
this
stuff.
So
he
didn't
provide
us
with
an
exact
date
on
when
that
was
supposed
to
go,
live,
but
I
think
we
can
follow
up
and
find
out
more
of
that
information.
You
know
we
can.
B
G
B
Friendly
compared
to
and
I'm
not
saying,
this
is
a
slight
in
any
way
shape
before
we
know
the
planning
department
has
a
very
extensive
GIS
program
regarding
the
city.
This
one
is,
you
know,
a
lot
more
user
friendly,
as
opposed
to
using
terms
like
active
recreation,
passive
recreation,
cultural
recreation.
It's
more
lists
of
you
know
what
fields
are
available.
What
activities
are
available
in
each
park?
You
know
its
passive
recreative
recreation
could
be
anything
from
playing.
B
G
G
We
have
a
lot
of
programs
where
program
rich
in
the
city
of
Albany,
but
what
we
have
to
do
and
again
talk
about
the
topic
of
this
discussion
is
just
I
believe
is
just
a
marketing
aspect
of
it.
Take
you
let
residents
and
children
know
where
you
can
go
to
find
out.
Well
program
is
where,
where
does
it
exist
and
I
believe
that
once
we
get
this
rollout
going,
there's
going
to
be
a
game-changer?
But
again
this
is
just
some
of
the
things
that
you
have
to
deal
with
now.
Oh.
B
J
And
it's
like
I
feel
like
almost
like.
This
is
a
waste
of
time.
I
mean
I'm,
sad
and
that
month,
community
was
a
here
but
I'm
glad
that
they
didn't
have
to
come
here
and
hear
this,
because
we
have
numbers
that
represent
the
city
budget
and
the
city
budget
has
been
going
on
and
you
know
for
the
last
few
years.
J
Nothing
is
matriculating
entities
on
programming
and
things
like
that,
like
you
will,
but
you
know,
wouldn't
when
the
administration
takes
they
can
they
have
a
starting
point
and
they
can
build
from
there
and
out
and
copy
I.
Don't
disagree
that
we
shouldn't
talk
about
partnerships
with
the
school
district
right
but
I
feel
like
we
have
to
do
what
we've
vari
supposed
to
do.
E
J
That
is
going
on.
Like
I
said
we
can't
afford
to
lose
any
more
kids.
You
know
and
I
work
in
the
school
district
and
I
see
the
ill
effects
a
lot
of
things.
You
know
like
my
afternoon
today,
I
only
work,
half
that
if
you
had
to
do
what
I
had
to
deal
with,
you
will
feel
the
rage.
That's
up
in
me
and
it's
hard
for
me
to
sit
here
and
just
be
quiet
when
people
that
just
moved
to
our
town
are
making
decisions,
for
you
know
how
things
are
supposed
to
go.
J
But
you
know
you
don't
know
how
important
it
is
to
have
people
in
that
playground
from
you
know
as
early
as
possible,
too
late
as
possible,
live
the
Center
Street
Park,
whatever
you
want
to
call
it,
because
you
know,
if
you
go
up
there
and
walk
around
like
I,
extended
an
invitation
for
all
council
people
to
let's
walk
through
the
common
community
centers.
Nobody
wants
to
because
of
personal
minister.
J
E
J
C
I
A
A
C
C
D
C
A
C
C
A
A
I
I
B
B
A
I
G
B
So
they
would
take
care
of
all
the
maintenance
of
those
fields.
The
only
thing
that
I
know
that
happens
on
the
operations
standpoint
would
be
working
with
collaborating
with
dgs
to
go,
make
sure
the
waters
turned
on
turned
off
at
the
end
of
the
season
and
things
of
that
nature.
You
elaborate
look
what.
G
G
A
G
J
J
Was
a
verbal
agreement
because
you
have
to
not
go
to
displace
kids,
so
that's
how
they
ended
up
at
the
Legion
sir.
Now
here
it
is,
you
know,
three
years,
four
years
they
get
a
letter
or
they
get
an
email
saying
that
they're
now
behind
okay.
How
did
we
come
to
that
conclusion?
I?
Don't.
A
They
may
not
know
what
Apple
was
Babe
Ruth.
There
was
a
league
over
an
American
Legion,
they
re
scheduled
games.
They
basically
said
the
city
said
to
them.
We're
gonna
charge
you
$25
per
hour
to
use
the
field.
Okay,
another
fee
I
forget
what
it
was
and
they
were
like
wait
we're
a
501,
C
organization.
We
don't
have
the
money
and
within
the
last
three
days
they
said
they
wait.
Wait.
A
I
A
B
B
B
B
A
J
B
Yes,
that's
that's
an
ongoing
discussion.
That's
ever
ongoing
I
in
addition
to
Commissioner
Jones
and
Deputy
Commissioner
Justin
Ellis
have
been
working
with
dgs
and
APD
in
addition
to
planning
on
a
parks
task
force.
Presently
that
still
work,
that's
being
done,
but
more
importantly,
you
know.
The
Department
of
Recreation
is
in
charge
of
athletic
fields,
maintaining
athletic
fields,
maintaining
Park
and
playground
facilities,
as
opposed
to
say,
I'm,
trying
to
think
of
a
good
example
of
a
park.
Whitehall
Park,
for
example.
B
B
I
can
tell
you
that
a
number
of
calls
have
have
been
placed
through
the
Department
of
Recreation
about
the
status
of
the
bowling
of
parks,
but
that's
one
of
those
things
that
is
difficult
to
clarify
I
hate,
to
say
that
who
does
what
mentality,
but
that's
one
of
those
things
that
this
parks
task
force
has
been
trying
to
filter
out
some
of
these
things,
because
what
happens
is
if
you
were
a
part.
If
you
were
resident,
you
go
into
swinburne
Park
and
you
see
that
the
basketball
court
is
done
or
down.
B
You
know
you
would
call
recreation,
you
go
into
Washington
Park
and
see
that
it's
not
mowed.
Do
you
think
to
call
TGS
or
do
you
think,
to
call
the
Recreation
Department,
because
while
it
is
the
Recreation
Department's
oftenly
miss
titled,
the
Parks
and
Recreation
Department?
And
that's
where
DTS
has
its
specific
team
of
parks,
maintenance,
staff,
members?
And
that's
it's
it's
an
ongoing
confusion.
B
Dgs
and
recreation
planning
has
been
brought
in
various
times,
APD,
for
example,
as
well
doing
doing
assessments
of
parks.
You
know
testing
for
safety
and
things
of
that
nature.
So
you
know
how
high
are
the
trees?
Are
they
covering
the
lights
type
of
situation?
So
then
they
APD
can
hand
over
their
assessment,
which
they
did
a
few
months
back
to
the
department
general
services.
For
that
tree
light
example
what
you
know
what
needs
to
be
trimmed
back
tending
presently.
It's
more
been
moved
more
to
the
commissioner
and
Deputy
Commissioner
level.
E
B
Was
a
biweekly
meeting
last
I
attended,
which
was
back
in
April
but,
however,
that
it
has
been
an
ongoing
discussion
and
meeting
and
one
took
once
again,
information
is
filtered
to
me
on
the
operation
standpoint.
To
take
a
look
at
you
know
what
my
group,
for
example,
would
be
responsible
for
taking
care
of
okay.
A
B
So
you
know
from
what
I
understand
and
I
can
speak
to
this
in
terms
of
my
recruitment
for
maintenance
staff,
whether
it's
field
maintenance
or
we
do
have
like
a
mobile
maintenance
team
that
I
have
a
schedule
where
they
go
and
hit
various
parks
throughout
the
day,
and
they
have
a
checklist
of
items
that
they're
supposed
to
be
taking
care
of.
You
know
finding
a
seasonal
employee,
that's
reliable
for
that.
You
know.
B
For
example,
you
know
lifeguards
I
had
I
did
not
have
too
much
difficulty
in
terms
of
recruitment
because
of
not
only
the
hours
of
the
day,
which
is
12,
11
7,
as
opposed
to
some
173
and
also
just
the
type
of
work.
Well,
it's
you
know.
I'd
love
to
be
able
to
you
know,
hire
as
many.
You
know,
individuals
as
possible
to
handle
that
that's
also
some
of
the
different
departmental
items
of
it.
I
know
those
seasonal
parks,
maintenance
positions
with
Department
of
General
Services
as
well.
So
it's
well!
It's
that
whole.
A
J
B
And
I
believe
dgs
does
have
a
small
crew
over
up
near
the
sunshine
school
building.
There's
a
there's
a
garage
up
there
and
there
is
a
crew
up
there
as
well
and
I
agree
with
you.
I
wish
that
answer
was
easy
up
and
down
the
line,
because
you
know
well
I
find
myself
often
in
these
situations
where
I
have
to
you
know,
we'll
see
what
we
can
do,
but
it's
a
DGS
and
and
I
hate
having
to
save
items
like
that.
J
E
J
B
A
Got
I'm
gonna
ask
the
speakers
to
come
up,
and
that
was
a
really
good
presentation.
All
right.
You
guys
give
me
any
questions
for
questions
and
let
the
speaker's
come
up
and
then
Derek's
gonna
do
his
little
presentation.
So
I'm
gonna
call
a
street.
Chapel
can
I
come
up,
say
a
few
words
sit
down,
say
your
name.
L
So
many
ins,
Ashley
Chappell
resident
of
Albany
longtime
resident
the
whole
entire
life
employed
by
the
Albany
City
School
District
I
came
today
because,
as
some
of
you
know,
we
lost
one
of
our
basketball
players
last
week
and
what
that
did
was
bring
up
a
lot
of
regret
and
it
was
right
before
that,
as
I
was
one
of
her
coaches
and
teacher.
So
of
course
you
think.
Where
did
we
go
wrong?
What
did
we
do?
What
could
we
have
done
and,
prior
to
that?
I
saw
a
video
on
Facebook
from
Principal
down
in
New
Jersey.
L
When
I
said
in
my
lifetime,
I
want
to
do
that
in
my
lifetime,
once
Ayana
was
killed,
I
realized,
we
don't
have
my
lifetime
to
figure
that
out.
I.
Think
it's
great
Parks
and
Rec
has
some
things
going
on,
but
we
got
to
be
smarter.
Why
have
a
program
from
8
to
12
and
then
1
to
5?
That
gives
the
impression
that
you
can
only
go
to
one
and
you
have
to
sign
up
for
the
other.
Why
not
just
make
it
8
to
5
I
ran
a
camp.
L
Last
year,
last-minute
came
up
with
it
in
April,
I
got
60
kids
by
myself,
boots
to
the
ground,
I
went
I,
said
I.
Think
I
said
all
you
guys
males
asking
for
money.
Some
of
you
donated.
Thank
you,
those
who
didn't
it's
all
good.
We
still
we
still
made
it
happen,
but
I
had
60
on
one
day
by
Wednesday.
I
was
up
to
68,
kids
and,
of
course,
I'm
gonna
say
you
can
come
absolutely
because
it
was
a
great
thing.
L
We
did
it
from
8
to
5
and
I,
provided
them
breakfast
and
lunch
and
a
snack
without
the
summer
program,
because
we
were
too
late
for
that,
and
so
we
can
do
more
and
we
have
to
do
more.
You
guys
even
this
board.
You
guys
had
tons
of
questions
about
Hoffman,
but
we
got
to
Livingston
an
hour
in
Quail
street
in
ages,
dwindled
and
dwindled,
but
we
have
to
have
opportunities
because
we
didn't
seem
to
lose
kids
like
I
had
Hunter.
If
you
go
to
teen
night,
teen
is
supposed
to
be
for
teens
right.
L
There
are
21,
25
and
28
year
old,
still
going
because
that's
what
we
hold
on
to
I
used
to
go
to
teammate
when
I
was
in
high
school
and
I
would
have
continued
if
I
still
play
ball,
but
we
have
to
do
more.
Normally,
we
need
more
programming.
You
guys
are
cool
with.
You
know
just
the
three
of
these
guys:
Patrick
Duffy
and
hood
running
a
poker,
but
why
don't?
They
have
support
knowing
that
they've
done
this
program
last
year?
Why
aren't
you
got
summer,
youth
program?
L
E
L
L
Is
there,
why
not
have
scheduled
programming
for
there,
but
all
day
long,
and
we
can't
say
we
don't
have
the
staff,
that's
what
you
really
need
is
the
adult
to
supervise
the
teenagers,
who
will
then
teach
the
kids
you
have
all
of
my
athletes
who
need
jobs
right
come
after
our
be
very
targeted
and
purposeful.
I
would
then
again
I'm
speaking
to
stuff
that
I've
already
done
so
I'm,
not
asking
you
to
do
something.
I
didn't
do
myself,
that's
exactly
what
I
did
last
year,
coaches
on
board,
they
brought
their
players.
I
L
It
worked
out
where
the
kids
are
loved,
the
kids,
that
they
weren't,
they
loved
the
teenagers
and
they
learned
a
new
sport
where
they
were
supposed
to
a
new
sport.
Again,
I'm
not
knocking
out,
for
which
I
do
cuz.
You
do
do
something,
but
we
gotta
do
more
that
it's
again
her
death
woke
me
up
big
time,
but
we
got
to
collaborate
a
little
bit
more
and
I
appreciate
what
you
said:
Kathy
same
thing
with
with
what
Derrick
was
saying,
but
as
the
superintendent
told
me
as
well,
we
can't
be
the
hub
for
everything
we.
L
Programs,
we
already
got
eight
to
five
I,
think
that
you
eight
to
twelve,
is
in
Richmond
and
then
wonder:
four
is
their
sports
and
stuff
we're
already
doing
it,
but
the
city
has
to
offer
board
in
collaborate
in
terms
of
hey
mr.
Chau.
Actually
you
do
email
me
miss
traveling.
Who
can
we
get,
but
you
got
to
be
boots
to
the
ground
you
gotta
get
I
had
to
knock
on
doors.
Last
year,
hey
I
got
a
free
program,
free
transportation.
L
L
Here
all
right,
how
would
I
get
this
done?
Would
you
do
Derek
you've
been
here
too
long?
As
you
know,
more
people
Patrick
what
you
got,
what
you
need
and
not
give
half
of
our
city
the
bare
minimum,
because
that's
what
that's,
what
you're
doing
with
Livingston
quail
Street
and
Arbor
Hill
is
giving
them
the
bare
minimum,
and
your
nuts
and
bolts
is
all
in
to
the
Hoffman
day
camp,
and
even
that
should
be
better.
It
should
just
be
straight
eight
to
five,
because
we
know
what's
best
for
kids.
L
L
I
A
L
L
A
A
H
G
B
B
B
And
it's
it's
a
city
park,
you,
you
know,
while
we
can
have
children
and
I
hate
to
say
this
way,
enclosed
in
a
fenced
area
in
a
field
say
at
Hoffman
Park.
You
know,
that's
where
you
know,
having
not
only
the
numbers
in
terms
of
staff
members
to
ensure
that
children
are
safe
at
state
apart,
like
Livingston,
where
it
is
right
in
the
community
and
they
open
and.
A
A
L
A
L
If
you
could
hit
up
a
few
doors,
that'd
be
great,
especially
Livingston
needs
love,
so
you're
gonna
have
to
you.
Maybe
if
you
don't
want
to
go
door
to
door
at
least
hit
up
the
parks
find
kids
outside
get
into
the
schools
and
try
to
entice
kids
to
come,
but
I
know
talking
to
the
parents
really
helped,
because
I
didn't
put
the
responsibility
in
it
was
more
like
hey.
You
know.
This
is
who
I
am
where
you
have
the
edge
and
all
that
and.
I
L
A
J
L
I
I
L
A
J
J
M
But
don't
know,
my
name
is
the
last
night
on
the
fifth
or
leaders
for
the
city
of
Albany.
The
party
we
just
talked
about
Livingston
Park
is
in
my
ward.
I
came
to
talk
because
I
don't
believe
that
out
of
the
three
million
dollar
contracts
budget
I,
don't
think
that
the
resources
are
being
distributed.
M
C
C
A
B
A
I
M
A
M
A
J
A
I
A
B
There
was
an
agreement
between
the
city
and
the
the
City
School
District
of
Albany
and
the
city
where
they
would
be
working
with
the
City
School
District
during
for
a
portion
of
the
year,
doing
the
swim,
instruction
programs
and
then
starting
June
1st.
They
returned
to
work
for
the
city
for
the
summer
season
to
be
available
for
the
the
three
pools
plus.
I
B
M
Yeah,
just
our
clarity
see
because
obviously
I
mean
it
just
appears
to
me
that
people
don't
actually
know
who
we're
talking
about
the
cost
of
living
in
the
fifth
Ward.
Eight
point:
three
percent
above
the
national
average
72
percent
of
the
people
rent
they're
in
are
below
poverty.
However,
we're
the
only
facilities
that
are
charged
a
fee
for
programming,
you
gotta
pay
to
you,
the
RVL
pool.
You
got
a
pay
to
skate
at
Swinburne
park.
M
A
G
M
M
M
Because
I
just
recently
became
aware
right
now
that
there
was
going
to
be
program,
one
I
want
to
know.
Where
do
you
come
with
the
projection
of
sixty
kids,
when
they're
gonna
be
vyas,
programming
run
up
to
base
it
on
their
part
and
obviously
again
we're
not
looking
at
the
demographics
of
the
location
of
this
park?
There's
more
than
60.
M
That's
a
problem!
We
have
such
a
great
need
in
our
district.
25%
of
our
district
is
children
under
the
age
of
18,
and
we
have
the
police
programming
in
this
area.
We
got
five
facilities
and
combined,
they
don't
even
add
up
to
half
of
the
services
that's
offered
at
home
in
person
and
for
those
who
said
oh
well,
if
they
want
to
do
it,
they
can
go
to
home
apart
who
these
are
poor
people.
These
are
people
who
are
disenfranchised
and
underserved
who's,
paying
for
them
to
get
to
hawk
me
park
children,
mind
you.
M
We
talk
about
traveling,
okay,
there's
no
feeding
program.
You
talk
about
underserved
families
who
now
have
to
incorporate
in
their
budget
of
their
household
two
meals,
two
extra
meals
a
day
for
every
child
in
their
household,
because
they're,
not
in
school,
but
we
got
a
feeding
program
at
Hoffman's,
but
not
one
in
the
poorest
district
in
the
city
of
Albany.
That's
a
priority.
A
J
M
Demographics
houses
information
being
disseminated
they
talking
about
just
like
you
mentioned
a
GIS
map
program.
You
have
to
have
the
internet,
you
have
to
have
the
ability
to
access
this
information.
If
this
information
is
not
in
people's
hands,
they
don't
have
to
win
with,
though
we
are
talking
about
again,
you
have
to
know
the
demographic
you're
dealing
with
everybody
does
not
have
the
luxury
of
having
an
iPhone
had
an
internet
at
home.
I
noticed
as
many
things
that
we
all
take
for
granted,
but
not
in
the
fifth
Ward.
M
So
we
need
to
figure
out
how
you're
going
to
distribute
that,
and
you
know:
okay,
okay,
I'm
almost
done!
Oh,
you
mentioned
that.
The
reason
that
a
lot
of
the
programs
are
over
at
Kauffman
Park,
because
they're
fenced
in
yeah.
Well
guess
what
medicine
Avenue
Park
asked
for
a
fence
seven
years
ago,
and
we
still
don't
have
one.
You
gave
us
a
piece
of
fence,
but
what
a
three
million
dollar
budget
god
forbid,
we
should
have
a
fence
where
our
children
can
be
safe.
M
M
Our
website
in
the
budget
is
said
that
the
29
2019
goals
were
to
renovate
the
playground
of
West
Hill.
What
playground
was
being
renovated
in
West
Hill,
because
that
was
a
goal
for
Parks
and
Rec
what
what
playground
being
renovated,
but
we
halfway
through
the
year,
we
should
at
least
know
which
one
it
is.
J
J
M
M
M
M
It's
just
sickening
that
the
poorest
district
in
the
city
of
Albany
does
not
have
any
resources
available
to
our
children,
but
let
anything
go
wrong
and
then
it's
you
know.
Oh,
we
want
to
talk
about
the
fifth
Ward,
a
bike
wraps
on
the
fifth
Ward.
When
it
comes
to
you
know,
violence,
kids,
just
standing
on
the
street
runs
well,
they
don't
have
anything
to
do.
Let's
give
them
something
to
do.
Obviously
we
got
three
million
dollars
list.
A
G
I'll
have
a
question
by
just
a
suggestion,
just
if
you
could
send
all
that
information
in
the
email
and
just
see
see
the
comment
council,
member
in
the
mayor's
office
to
come
and
also
the
Commissioner.
So
we.
I
M
A
M
F
F
F
A
F
A
F
Definitely
understand
where
you
coming
from,
because
they've
been
saying
that
for
years
that
it
was
gonna,
do
that
part
over
oh
I,
just
want
to
say
I.
Think
part
of
what's
going
on
here
is
on
the
lack
of
communication
between
all
the
different
agencies,
because
I
just
sat
here
and
on.
Let
me
elaborate
a
little
bit
with
the
Harvey
Hill
Community
Center
I
was
told
like
a
couple
years
ago
that
that
pool
why-why-why
on
during
the
month
my
school
was
in
June.
F
F
Who's
doing
in
programs
is
it
the
school
district
as
it's
a
city
as
it
departs
of
recreation?
That's
the
problem.
I
agree
like
it's
too
much.
It's
too
much
going
on
in
and
I
do.
But
you
know
the
DJ
saying
here
you
got
to
be
something
clear-cut
so
that
you
know
when
there's
an
issue
and
there's
a
problem.
You
know
we
got
a
call
suction
suction
and
that's
how
you
get
us.
F
Too
much
running
around
about
well,
you
call
this
morning.
If
this
one,
you
know
you
got
to
call
this
one,
it's
just
too
much
man.
Another
thing
we're
RB
hill,
with
with
the
salt
ball
park,
RB
Hill
phil,
was
just
we've
done.
We
have
a
brand
new
scoreboard
stated
our
scoreboard
for
three
years
is
not
working
when
we
plan
on
getting
this
work.
F
F
I
J
That,
when
I'm
talking
to
people
that
just
came
on
board
that
like
they're,
giving
me
the
roundabout
answer
and
what
they
think
that'd
be,
and
it's
like,
if
we
listen,
we
listen
to
the
young
lady.
She
says
she
got
this
information
from
our
website.
So
why
would
someone
need
to
send
them
send
any
of
us
information?
That's
on
our
website.
I
J
So
imagine
how
our
kids
are
feeling.
So
you
know,
like
I,
just
think
it's
like
I
had
another
meeting,
but
this
is
important
and
you
know
I'm
disappointed
that
the
Commissioner
is
here
he's
entitled
to
a
vacation
on
a
professional
at
bar,
but
we
need
to
have
a
real
conversation
to
get
real
result
results,
because
if
not
we're
gonna,
you
don't
hear
some
some
marching
and
some
yelling
agreement.
So
something
happened
well.
J
F
I
mean,
like
I,
said
we
gotta,
you
know
I'm,
not
saying
you're,
pointing
a
finger,
any
one
person
or
any
one
agency,
but
we
all
got
to
get
together.
We
got
it.
We
got
to
get
our
phones
together
because
listen
I'm,
a
I'm,
a
lifelong
resident
of
Albany,
but
I
work
in
North,
Colonie
and
I
see
things
get
done,
I
see
money
get
done
for
days
and
it's
like
that
is
not
even
an
issue
and
then
I
come
home
to
my
community
to
deal
with
this
in
his
life.
It's
its
second.
It
is
really
sad.
F
F
N
N
H
I
N
Got
education
community
love,
I
was
born
from
the
projects
of
land
from
the
projects.
Cuz
people
laughed
at
everyone
at
the
school,
but
that's
why
I
commit
suicide.
I
came
to
get
better
person.
You
didn't
meet
me
not
being
myself,
so
you
know
you're
not
read
for
me
to
speak.
Cuz
I
had
the
tire
and
the
tire
seen
nothing
like
young
kids
occupants
out
selling
drugs
when
the
police
don't
protect
us
this
morning,.
K
About
my
time
at
the
boxing
gym,
I
have
a
lot
of
hours
in
there,
I
mean,
and
we
have
kids
from
the
street,
basically
with
the
young.
Ladies,
just
speaking
on
that
have
anything
you
don't
have
anything
and
I
wind
up
spending.
My
time,
then
some
time
I
get
there
and
I
hear
this
favorite
word
that
they
use
on
me.
You
just
a
volunteer,
but
we
need
more
volunteers,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
kids
in
our
community.
That
needs
to
be
served.
K
Not
only
do
I
volunteer
my
time
there
I
also
spend
my
money
on
the
to
go
on
every
trip
that
need
to
be.
They
need
to
go
on.
I
come
out
of
my
pocket
and
I
make
sure
these
kids
go
to
the
Nationals
I
make
sure
they
go
to
just
path,
make
sure
they
want
to
Lake
Placid,
now
making
sure
that
these
kids
have
an
opportunity
to
go
to
Wisconsin
because
they
come
in
the
gym
every
day,
I
yell
and
scream
at
them
every
day
trying
to
get
them
to
do
the
right
thing.
K
K
A
I
A
J
K
J
K
I
J
So
I'm
just
thinking
about
like
coming
up,
like
you
know
your
best
friend.
Yes,
you
know
wherever
he
went
to
play,
that's
where
everybody
was
following
and
so
like
I
see
and
I
think
I
see
it
because
I
saw
them
go
and
start
their
own
gym
up
and
I
saw
you
know,
I'd
go
pass
it
all
the
time
you
know
so.
I
see
the
numbers
down.
I
see
young
animal.
K
Always
want
the
best,
no
meaning
for
all
kids
yeah
me
and
what
I'm
saying
is
what
they're
doing
is.
Basically,
you
know
they
had
their
own
private.
You
don't
mean
we're
boomers,
you
know
mean
other
than
you
know
mean
like
the
city.
They
have
certain
restrictions
and,
like
I
said,
I
have
spoken
with
Joe.
You
know
me
about
being
open
on
Saturdays,
because
these
kids
are
in
competition.
I
mean
these
other
gyms.
They
have
an
opportunity
to
be
open
on
the
side
and
so
yeah.
C
K
C
If
I
may,
if
I
may
interject
as
far
as
the
volunteer
Sam,
does
do
a
lot
as
far
as
volunteer,
but
is
it's
also
we
look
at
and
that's
not
to
belittle
his
his
role,
because
he
is
one
of
the
only
few
volunteers.
That's
there
every
day
and
that's
and
that's
enough
respectful,
but
were
you
when
you
look
at
some
things?
Sometimes
you
want
to
make
sure
that
you
know
if
he
was
staff.
There's
certain
things
you
want
to
you
want
staff
to
do
you
know
what
I
mean.
C
J
I
J
G
J
Know,
but
we
can't
say
market
rate
on
one
hand,
but
we're
not
given
market
rate
and
that's
what
I'm
saying
as
far
as
the
city
and
I
want
to
go
on
record
I
hope
it's
still
recorded,
because
if
the
city
is
doing
what
they're
supposed
to
be
doing
as
a
person
who
wears
a
cool
hat,
this
is
real
easy
to
have
that
conversation
with
the
school
district.
And
you
know
me,
you
know
me
personally,
you
know
I,
don't
know
I
don't
play
when
it
comes
to
my
community.
J
I
haven't
played
it
when
it
comes
to,
what's
right
and
and
and
lastly,
the
last
thing
to
number
say
is
that
the
parks
have
always.
If
you
go
back
to
corner
I
was
told
it
coroner
said.
Let
him
hang
in
the
parks
because
at
least
we'll
know
where
they're
at
right
and
and
they
always
had
up
dubs
that
were
paid
to
be
in
those
parks
that
regulated
what
was
going
on.
J
So
you
know
when
you
take
away
from
the
adults
that
you've
taken
away
from
the
security
of
a
parent
who
you
know
my
mom,
when
I
lived
on
First
Street
I
had
the
ability
to
walk
to
the
livers
to
NAV
boys
club
I
had
the
ability
to
be
able
to
walk
around
to
third
Street
Park,
where
there
was
many
family
members
that
were
there
playing
basketball.
You
know
the
other
thing
is
like
several
leagues
like
they
took
all
the
sudden
leagues
away,
so
kids
are
learning
how
to
play
the
game.
J
I
J
J
Seven
games
from
eighth
grade
to
twelfth
grade
seven
games.
That's
how
much
ahead
Albany
was
to
everyone
else,
and,
and
a
lot
of
it
had
to
do
with
is
that
we
just
follow.
Amending
the
people
who
were
doing
I
was
watching
Fred
Daniels
I
was
watching,
Mike
hear
us.
I
was
watching
Joe
quickly.
I
was
watching
around
the
cabbage
and
I
was
watching.
Phil
Blanche
I
was
watching
our
dairy.
J
What
I
was
watching
sad
bunch,
but
that's
not
happening
nowadays,
because
you
don't
have
a
men's
league
to
go
and
watch
and
we
had
several
men's
league
throughout
the
far
wall.
But
if
you
constantly
keep
taking
away
from
bodies
of
people,
it's
not
going
to
get
better
so
I'm
both
moving
forward
that
we
can
address
some
of
the
things
that
they
talk
about,
I'm,
hoping
that
moving
forward
when
I
walk
in
those
community.
J
Centers
I'm
not
gonna,
see
an
empty
community
son
because
you
know
that
picture
that
I
saw
you
saw
when
I
walked
in
there.
I
worked
at
that
building
every
day
for
three
years.
It's
nothing
in
it
and
I
know
that
the
mayor
wouldn't
bring
someone
there
to
say
hey.
This
is
what
we
offer,
and
you
know
the
fact
that
this
is
what
we're
offering
is
a
smack
in
the
face
to
taxpayers.
J
It's
a
smack
in
the
face
to
the
future
or
our
youth,
and
it's
a
it's
a
smack
in
the
face
to
that
a
generic
Sikh
single
parent
that
has
to
work
two
jobs
just
to
be
able
to
make
her
meter
bills
and
whatnot
and
not
have
a
comfortable,
a
conscious
plan
for
her
kid.
You
know
we
need
to
step
up
and
if
not
the
whole
year,
definitely
need
someone.
