A
A
A
Derek
johnson
staff
is
danielle,
gillespie,
john
raphael,
ricardo,
brett
williams,
commissioner
joe
coffey,
rafael,
tucker
of
parks
and
rec.
Who
else
am
I
missing?
Here?
Is
justin
atlas
here?
Yet
no,
I
don't
see
him.
A
We're
going
to
start
off
with
local
k.
First,
if
you
don't
mind,
because
I
think
that'll
that'll
be
pretty
quick
danielle.
Can
you
read
that
local
k.
B
Local
k
of
2021,
a
local
law
amending
article
1
public
grounds
designated
as
parks,
government
and
care
of
parks
and
parkways
of
chapter
251
parks
and
recreation
of
the
code
of
the
city
of
albany
in
relation
to
alienation
of
certain
parkland
within
lincoln
park.
This
continuance
of
a
right-of-way
and
dedication
of
replacement
park,
land.
C
Yeah,
this
goes
back
to
the
council
members
to
the
alien
nation
of
parkland
process.
We
started
back
in
2019
for
the
beaver
creek
clean
river
project,
as
you
know,
we're
occupying
a
small
portion
of
the
existing
parkland,
just
north
of
dr
martin
luther
king
boulevard,
near
tow
school,
and
to
offset
that
we
had
identified
a
parcel
to
add
to
the
lincoln
park
and
that's
the
triangle
section
that
had
some
streets
going
around
it
from
swan
street
park
and
myrtle
that
little
triangle
up
in
the
corner.
C
So
if
you
notice
that
actually
that
has
actually
already
been
modified,
we
put
some
sidewalks
in
here
took
the
road
out
and
we
did
that
in
advance
of
when
dgs
and
the
city
are
going
to
do
the
paving
and
sidewalk
projects
on
park
avenue.
So
we
needed
to
get
out
in
front
of
that.
So
this
simply
is
the
identification
of
the
new
piece
of
land.
That's
going
to
be
added
to
lincoln
park
that
then
becomes
codified
in
this
new
local
walk.
C
A
D
Joe,
can
you
just
explain
once
again
what
the
piece
that
is
being
donated
to
the
park
where
that's
located.
C
Yeah,
so
if
you're,
if
you're
coming
from
morton
avenue
and
you
drive
down,
you
know
past
where
the
toast
school
is
and
you
have
the
end,
the
entrance,
the
one-way
entrance
into
where
the
lincoln
park
pool
is,
as
you
go
a
little
bit
farther
up.
C
You
have
park
avenue
on
your
left
and
there
formerly
was
that
little
triangle,
piece
of
property
that
park
avenue,
extended
and
connected
back
down
to
where
myrtle
avenue
is
so
if
they
went
that
that's
a
little
piece
of
triangle,
land
that
had
the
roadways
been
abandoned
now
that
sidewalk,
so
the
sidewalks
have
all
been
completed,
and
that's
now
no
longer
a
through
street
and
that
actually
changed
a
little
bit
of
the
traffic
pattern
on
south
swan
between
park
and
myrtle.
That
used
to
be
one
way.
C
D
Okay,
this
is,
I
mean
I
have
been,
I'm
really
happy
to
hear
about
the
new
sidewalks
and
the
paving
on
park.
That's
the
first
I've
heard
of
it.
I've
been
asking
about
that
for
a
while
now,
so
that.
C
A
E
Yes,
commissioner,
good
good
good
evening,
I
just
have
one
quick
question:
did
did:
were
there
was
there
any
community
input
into
this?
Did
y'all
have
any
meetings
with
the
communities.
C
As
I
said
before,
councilman
johnson
this
process
started
with
a
homeland
with
a
back
with
the
legislature
back
in
2019.
There
were
multiple
meetings
that
identified
this
element
as
part
of
the
overall
lincoln
park
project.
C
So
I
think
again
we
we
talked
last
night
when
we
had
a
project
meeting
with
the
community
on
the
ball.
We
had
I'm
thinking.
It
was
about
15
community
meetings,
public
meetings
at
toast
that
had
a
couple
hundred
people
in
them
and
a
variety
of
different
neighborhood
association
meetings
over
the
past,
probably
two
and
a
half
years.
So
this
was
part
of
that
whole
process,
a
secret
process.
There
was
an
environmental
process,
all
the
stuff
was
published.
C
So
there
was
multiple
elements,
and
I
guess
multiple
times
where
this
was
discussed
with
the
community.
E
A
Now
we're
going
to
talk
about
the
summer
programs
for
the
city
of
albany,
do
I
assume
rafael
tucker
will
be
presenting.
F
B
A
F
F
Yes,
okay,
great
so
again,
good
evening,
everyone
presenting
talking
about
this
year,
the
summer
youth
employment
program,
2021
our
application
was
went,
live
step
one
starting
march
1st
through
march
31st.
F
It
was
online
as
a
result
of
that
we
had
905
young
people
who
did
complete
the
application
and
submitted
that
again
was
the
first
step
in
the
three-step
process
for
this
year
during
that
month.
The
last
two
weeks
was
a
timeline
where
they
could
initially
start
step
two
whereby
they
could
bring
in
their
sick
sensitive
documents
in
payroll
package,
which
means
birth
certificates,
social
security
card
working
papers.
F
And
the
completed
payroll
packet,
as
you
can
see
in
the
timeline
due
to
different
situations
of
pushback
or
low
participation,
we
allow
the
young
people
to
have
different
opportunities
to
submit
their
documents
for
step.
Two
we
reached
out
to
them
by
calling
them
as
well
as
reached
out
to
the
schools
informing
them.
That
two
was
a
part
of
the
process
before
the
youth
could
receive
a
receipt,
which
is
our
typical
process.
F
Step
two
student
step:
three:
is
the
orientation
due
to
the
kovic
world
years.
Prior
we
had
face-to-face
orientation
sessions
at
albany
high
and
at
toast
this
year
was
totally
all
in
line
and
the
dates
for
that
was
may
10th
through
the
14th.
F
As
a
result
of
that
initial
905
students
who
did
submit
their
application
online,
we
had
573
who
did
complete
step
two
to
date.
We
have
extended
that
orientation
timeline
and
we
have
approximately
482
youth
who
have
completed
the
orientation
which
includes
our
survey.
F
A
few
statistics
comparing
last
year
with
this
year's
program,
seeing
how
the
program
has
grown
and
moved
forward
from
kovic
last
year.
These
are
statistics
for
2020
moving
forward
for
2021.
F
We
had
more
youth
who
did
participate
in
applying
the
number
here
again,
the
573
of
those
who
completed
step
one
and
step
two,
but
more
importantly,
as
a
plus
for
the
program
for
the
city.
The
income
qualifier
had
been
dropped
for
the
program
last
year,
due
to
covic
monies
were,
were
tight
and
shifted
around,
and
we
when
we
we
only
were
able
to
utilize
the
state's
tanf
monies
for
the
program.
This
year
we
have
monies
in
the
city's
budget
for
the
light
program,
as
well
as
potentially
monies
from
the
state
through.
F
Starts
this
year
is
the
first
year
the
youth
does
have
the
option
to
receive
their
pay
through
direct
deposit
or
through
a
pay
card
option
and
to
date
the
payroll
process
has
not
been
completed,
but
about
60
or
65,
or
some
of
you
have
decided
to
have
the
pay
go
directly
into
an
account
and
not
use
the
pay
card
option,
and
we
share
this
with
you
during
orientation
as
well.
F
The
last
slide
is
a
the
recruitment
floor
that
we've
used
for
work
sites
as
the
the
the
city
and
the
county
opens.
We
are
in
need
of
work
sites
we
reached
out
to
our
list
last
year,
as
well
as
the
year
before
in
2019
of
all
our
work
sites,
letting
them
know
that
the
program
is
still
here
and
it's
still
open
and
we
are
in
need
of
work.
A
Derek
I'm
just
going
to
ask
one
question
I'll
get
to
you:
programs,
basketball,
baseball,
lacrosse
soccer.
Are
you
doing
any
programs
like
that.
G
G
G
Okay,
my
apologies.
I
miss
yes
well.
I
was
going
to
give
a
little
brief
presentation
and
give
the
overall
summary
of
what
we'd
be
doing
program-wise
may
I
share
my
screen
currently
sure.
G
All
right,
as
you
should
be
able
to
see
right
here,
our
activity
portal.
We
recently
launched
this
back
on
march
15th.
This
is
a
you
know,
service
portal,
where
individuals
from
the
community
can
be
able
to
sign
up
and
register
for
all
of
our
programs.
It
has
our
program
menu.
Essentially,
it
is
linked
back
to
our
web
pages
as
well
as
ada
accessible
for
those
with
visual
impairments
and
hearing
impairments.
G
So
just
like
a
transaction
you
may
perform
on
amazon
or
any
web-based
platform,
the
transactions
we
are
able
to
house
here.
So
our
first
landing
page
is
where
we
encourage
individuals
to
create
an
account
as
well
as
have
an
albany
rec
membership.
Albany
rec
is
our
assumed,
dba
are
doing
business
as
which
we
are
using
as
kind
of
our
you
know,
promotional
handle
so
from
here
it'll
allow.
You
know,
individuals
to
be
able
to
register
for
programs.
G
We
click
on
here
to
the
summers
tab
our
summer
programs
tab
in
orange,
and
here
we'll
have
programs
that
are
listed
by
category
activity
and
then
sessions
within
so
here
during
the
summer.
We
do
plan
on
having
open
gym
sessions
at
community
centers.
This
one
here
is
for
the
arbor
hill
community
center
for
ages,
10
to
18..
All
the
information
is
listed
here
with
specifics.
We
do
have
14
of
96
spots
filled.
G
G
It
gives
a
brief
description
of
what
it
is
all
the
information
as
far
as
you
know
who
what
when,
where
and
why
will
be
right
through
here
if
you're
logged
in
you
can
see
over
here,
I
have
my
accounts
as
well
as
a
a
make-believe
friend
here
on
my
account
and
sophia
the
make-believe
daughter
to
be
able
to
run
test
transactions
on
my
account.
But
you
know
if
you
had
your
account
and
your
family
members
you'd
be
able
to
click
on
and
register
for
those
programs
that
way.
G
Additionally,
we
have
the
swinburne
program,
as
you
see,
is
24
out
of
24..
The
wl
up
here
means
that
we
already
have
a
waiting
list,
so
this
one
is
full
with
a
waiting
list
and
that
next
one
is
the
westland
hills
program
which,
as
well,
is
full
at
24
participants.
All
three
locations
are
currently
full.
G
G
We
advertised
through
our
email
distribution
chains,
as
well
as
through
our
social
media
platforms,
and
we
have
recently
which
commissioner,
our
deputy
commissioner
tucker
over
there,
has
seen
recently
our
new
sign
on
hoffman
avenue.
We
are
advertising
on
our
digital
sign
that
sees
about.
We
were
informed
about
14
000,
you
know
passer
buyers
a
week,
so
you
know
that's.
You
know
the
main
areas
of
which
we
send
out
the
information
and.
G
The
waiting
lists
for
the
skateboard
camp,
I
believe,
is
three.
If
I
go
to
the
internal
side
of
the
platform
which,
as
an
administrator,
I
can
access
here,
I
can
look
at
the
activity,
so
the
skateboard
camp
and
I
believe
swinburne
both
have
waiting
lists.
So
these
are
all
programs
that
we
have
in
our
in
our
lineup
in
our
menu.
Let's
see
I'll,
find
it
quickly
activate
recreation
summer
program
expand
out
so
waiting
lists.
We
have
one
waiting
list
at
swinburne
and
then
the
skateboard
camp.
G
We
have
nine
on
the
waiting
list
for
the
skateboard
camp.
So
if
we
want
to
look
at
who
those
participants
were,
we
can
pull
that
up.
We
can
see
people-
these
are
free
programs,
so
it
says
paid,
but
there's
no
charge
to
them.
We
look
at
the
receipts.
We
can
transfer
participants
to
other
programs
if
we
want,
we
see
the
ages
when
they
registered
who
they
are
and
if
we
were
to
click
on
any
one
of
these
would
give
us
the
information
on
those
individuals
to
be.
D
G
Yes,
everybody
is
able
to
register,
our
programs
are
limited
to
city
of
albany
residents.
So
when
you
create
your
account,
you
would
have
to
put
in
your
address
and
based
on
your
address
it
filters
already
who
is
an
albany
resident
and
who
is
not
an
albany
resident.
D
G
Okay,
so
I'll
just
briefly
continue
and
I'm
gonna
switch
back
to
the
public
view,
because
what
we
have
internally
is
a
little
bit
different
than
what
the
public
sees.
This
is
what
is
offered.
You
know
that
we
have
live.
I
should
say
to
the
public
addition
to
the
skateboard
camp,
which
is
a
two-week
camp.
G
We
have
swim
lessons
that
will
be
occurring
at
lincoln
park
pool
this
summer,
so
we
have
everything
from
level
one
level
two
level,
three
all
the
way
up
to
level
five
over
here
you
can
see
the
enrollment
again,
we
can
expand
it.
Just
like
all
the
other
programs,
it
gives
the
who,
what
when,
where
and
why
for
session
one
we
have
20
out
of
20
with
a
waiting
list
level.
G
Two
we
have
eleven
out
of
twenty
level,
three
eleven
out
of
twenty
level,
four,
nine
out
of
twenty
and
level
five,
nine
out
of
twenty
those
numbers.
Are
you
know
it's
typical
to
see
a
decrease
as
the
more
experienced
more
vigorous
courses
come
into
play,
but
at
the
same
time
we
are
going
to
continue
to
try
and
promote
level
two
and
level
three
swimming
to
see.
If
we
can
get
closer
to
that,
20
participant
mark.
D
Justin,
do
they
get
red
cross
certificates
for
these
levels.
G
These
are
not
red
cross
programs.
While
it
is
based
similar
to
the
red
cross
program,
we
would
need
to
do
a
couple.
Administrative
steps
to
be
more
red
cross,
you
know,
are
in
line
with
red
cross
regulations
to
be
able
to
issue
red
cross
certificates,
which
we
do
plan
on
being
able
to
use
this
summer
as
kind
of
the
foundational
point
of
developing
our
swim
program.
To
move
back
towards
the
red
cross
program
is.
G
Style
program
based
off
of
similar
lessons
that
the
red
cross
teaches
as
well
as
other
swim
organizations,
teach
with
you
know
fundamental
swim,
strokes.
You
know
fundamental
swim
techniques,
all
the
way
to
you
know
again,
a
little
bit
more
advanced
but
again
to
be
red,
cross,
a
red
cross
program,
which
is
basically
a
branded
program.
You
need
to
be
using
red
cross,
certified
swim
instructors.
G
We
use
our
lifeguards
currently
because
the
amount
of
swim
instructors
that
are
certified
by
the
red
cross,
the
ymca,
the
jcc-
they
have
a
good
portion
of
those.
So
we
don't
have
the
capacity
at
this
moment
to
certify
our
own
instructors.
We
are
making
steps,
and
you
know,
moves
to
be
able
to
move
in
that
direction,
though,
and
we
would
like
to
be
more
in
line
with
the
actual
red
cross
program.
E
I
have
a
question
of
that
1400
people
that
ride
by
that
sign
how
many
of
those
people
are
from
the
city
of
albany.
G
The
study
was
given
to
us
through
the
contractor,
who,
I
believe,
obtained
the
information
from
traffic
engineering.
I'm
not
sure
that
they
can
exactly
say
how
many
obviously,
with
the
two
highways.
I
would
estimate
that
a
good
portion
do
not
live
in
the
city,
but
again
there
is
a
lot
of
local
traffic
in
the
area
as
well.
G
I
do
know
that
many
stakeholders
in
the
community,
as
far
as
the
school
district
who
do
travel
into
the
city,
such
as
teachers,
administrators
for
the
school
district,
as
well
as
others,
you
know,
help
pass
along
information
word
of
mouth
as
well
as
be
able
to
help
distribute
flyers
for
us
through
the
school
district
to
be
able
to
have
information
disseminated.
G
So
while
it
again,
those
14
000
is
a
number
for
the
community
in
general.
Are
you
the
larger
albany
area?
We
do
believe
that
a
good
portion
is,
you
know,
city
of
albany
residents.
E
Thank
you
and
I
have
a
point
of
clarification
for
the
chair
in
the
future
when
a
presentation
is
made.
I
think
that
for
you
to
jump
in
and
ask
a
question
about
something
else
before
you
give
people
a
chance
to
ask
a
question
about
the
presentation
that
we're
currently
listening
to,
is
this
not
fair?
E
I
just
had
to
listen
to
two
presentations
and
you
know
I
had
some
questions
from
the
first
presentation,
and
so
my
question,
mr
tucker,
is
that
I
noticed
900
and
then
I
noticed
500
and
I'm
getting
calls
from
people
in
the
12202
that,
for
whatever
reason,
weren't
able
to
do
register
with
the
program
is
there
a
way
that
we
can
pick
up
some
of
those
people
that
are
trying
to
find
summer
jobs.
F
F
We
were
we
set
up
hours
on
the
weekend,
two
weekends
saturday
mornings,
as
well
as
through
the
week
from
from
two
to
five
and
the
turn
turnout
was
very
low
in
all
the
events,
the
only
one
we
had
a
positive
response
for
the
kids
dropping
the
documents
was
only
one
and
we've
had
more
man-hours
for
the
drop-off
step,
one
and
two
this
year
compared
to
previous
years.
F
So
it
is
unfortunate
we
have
reached
out
to
the
schools
like
the
schools,
you
know
both
public
private
and
charter
schools.
You
know
those
schools,
those
students
at
their
particular
schools,
needed
to
complete
that
process
and
we
reached
out
and
to
hold
back
the
process
for
step.
Two
push
back
the
timeline
for
everything
internally
for
our
operation,
so
that
is
a
big
drop,
you're,
absolutely
correct,
but
we
did
try
and
again,
as
you
can
see,
we
extended
the
deadline
three
times.
E
Because
I
appreciate
you
appreciate
you
extending
the
deadline,
but
you
know
historically,
the
schools
have
been
very
instrumental
in
making
the
contacts
and
a
lot
of
those
students,
unfortunately,
are
virtual
students
a
lot
of
those
students.
E
This
year
we
didn't
get
the
chance
to
lay
eyes
on
one
day,
because
they've
been
pretty
much
out
of
the
building,
so
you
know
I
got
grandmother's
calling
I
got
mothers
calling
trying
to
figure
out
how
you
know
they
can
fix
that,
and-
and
so
I
reached
out
to
joe
johnson
yesterday-
and
he
was
kind
enough
to
follow
up
with.
E
But
you
know
it
wasn't
anything
that
concrete,
and
so
you
know
I'm
just
hoping
that
it's
a
way
we
can
figure
out
how
to
you
know
for
people
who
you
know
want
to
work.
We
can,
you
know,
fill
in
the
blanks
for
them.
F
Okay,
you
know
that's
a
good
suggestion
that
we
we've
tried
again
we're
we're
working
with
you,
because
again,
that's
a
big
drop
like
I
said
so,
moving
forward
for
those
young
people
who
have
completed
everything
in
a
timely
fashion.
F
We
have
to
move
forward
with
the
recruitment
for
work
sites
and
placing
them
in
the
jobs
that
we
currently
have.
So
it
pushes
back
the
entire
cycle
for
the
timing
for
office
because
it
it's
it's
a
lot
of
and
planning
involved
a
lot
of
regrouping
involved
when
things
get
adjusted.
D
Well,
I
have
I
had
I
hadn't
finished
talking
to
justin,
but
I
so
but
a
raphael
I
mean
I
do
have
a
question
for
you
too.
You
know
when
you
look
at
the
zip
codes
there
and
applications.
There
are
some
zip
codes
where
applications
are
quite
low
and
I
don't
see
the
slide.
That
shows
that.
So
I
just
wanted
you
to
look
at
that
and
and
try
to
consider
how
you
can
get
do
better
outreach
in
those
zip
codes.
F
Yes,
one
two,
two,
oh
five,
one,
two,
zero
seven!
Yes,
we
what
we
have
done
in
the
past
and
including
this
year
is
we.
We
contact
the
schools.
We
have
a
contact
person
at
each
school,
letting
them
know
that
the
applications
will
be
coming
out
and
we
also
through
social
media.
So
it's
been
advertised
widely,
but
we
do
special
attempts
to
do
so
again
with
kovic
this
year
being
better
than
last
we're
being
optimistic
for
even
next
year
for
2022
that'll
even
be
better.
So
we
can
attempt
to
do
that.
D
What
12207,
what
is
what
area
is
that.
F
F
D
B
D
You
thank
you
and
then
I'm
sorry
back
to
justin.
I
I
really
wanted
to
ask
a
couple
more
questions
about
the
swim
program.
There's
been
a
lot
of
conversations
that
are
you
know
we
never
get
enough
lifeguards
in
these
past
several
years
to
run
the
lincoln
park
pool
program
and
the
other
swimming
areas
in
the
city.
So
these
kinds
of
feeder
programs,
where
kids
can
learn
to
swim,
are
so
extremely
important.
D
So
I'm
really
happy
to
see
that's
being
more
developed,
I'm
concerned,
though,
maybe
you
can
explain
a
little
bit
more.
You
know
just
because
they're
lifeguards
don't
doesn't
necessarily
mean
they
know
how
to
teach
kids
to
swim.
So
can
you
speak
a
little
bit
more
about
the
program?
I'm
curious.
I
mean.
A
G
All
right
to
answer
your
question,
and
first
I'll
start
off
with
saying
it
is
our
goal
to
be
able
to
have
a
formal
red
cross,
learn
to
swim
program
and
learn
to
swim,
is
trademarked
by
the
red
cross,
learn
to
swim
program
within
two
years,
so
that
is
our
objective
as
far
as
being
able
to
you
know,
get
back
to
it
with
how
we
operate
the
program.
It
is
myself
who
I
am
a
certified
instructor
as
well
as
we
are
have
brought
aboard
another
individual
who
is
an
assistant
aquatic
manager.
G
Who
is
a
it's
a
seasonal
position?
Who
is
a
certified
instructor?
We
lead
the
instruction
and
the
lifeguards
monitor
the
techniques
as
the
participants,
so
it
is
a
teacher
with
teacher
assistant
style
model
as
of
right
now.
So
you
know,
as
you
know,
I
I
spend
time
I
go
in
the
pool
I
put
on
the
bathing
suit
and
you
know
I
I
focus
on
making
sure
that
I'm
monitoring
not
only
the
lifeguards
but
the
kids.
I
see
diamond,
smiling
and
laughing
about
that
a
little
bit.
It's,
but
yes,
you
know
we.
G
We
focus
on
making
sure
that
there
is
layers
to
the
education
and
the
teaching
of
the
the
participants,
and
we.
E
E
G
You
know
again,
we
don't
issue
certificates,
we
focus
on
ensuring
that
we're
getting
water
acclimation
as
well
as
basic
techniques,
downs,
and
we
don't
issue
a
certificate
to
say
you
are
this.
Now
it's
more
of
ensuring
that
just
like,
if
anybody
were
to
do
it
on
their
own
or
informally,
they're
getting
exposed
to
water-
and
you
know,
techniques
that
you
know
may
help
them
feel
more
encouraged
to
go
to
a
pool
or
you
know,
join
the
next
swimming
program
or
some
other.
G
You
know,
or
maybe
go
during
the
school
year
to
the
to
the
pool
at
the
schools
to
swim
and
learn
better
or
learn
more
so,
like
I
said
we
are
looking
at
getting
towards
that
learn
to
swim
program,
but
between
me
and
the
assistant
aquatic
manager,
who
is
you
know,
we're
the
instructors
and
then
the
lifeguards
assist
us
in
instructing
carry
out
carrying
out
the
instruction.
That
is
how
we
have
it.
The
model
currently.
D
G
Currently,
because
we
can't
assess
the
participants
who
come
in,
it's
actually
prerequisite,
they
have
to
pass
each
level
to
be
able
to
advance
to
the
next.
That's
why
level
five
is
as
low
as
it
is,
because
they
have
to
sign
up
for
level
one
level,
two
level,
three
level,
four
and
level
five,
so
only
those
nine
individuals
will
be
swimming
and
it's
a
week-long
level.
So
we
have
five
weeks
long
of
swim,
lessons
where
level
one
will
be
the
first
week
level
two
will
be
the
second
week
level.
G
They're
registered,
if
they
do
not,
if
they
do
not
pass,
you
know
kind
of
our
our
overall
assessment.
Again,
they
don't
receive
a
certification
by
any
means,
but
if
they
don't
pass
our
assessment
at
the
end
by
completing
and
checking
off
the
items
that
we
teach
they,
they
would
not
be
moved
and
we
would
we
have
that
prefaced
with
their
parents
beforehand.
G
So
we
we
allow
the
registration,
but
with
the
reality
and
the
you
know,
the
pragmatic
approach
of
this
is
swimming,
and
this
is
a
life-saving
skill
and
you
know
we're
not
going
to
be.
You
know
messing
around
with
somebody
who's,
not
a
strong
swimmer
and
and
advancing
them
when
they
should
not
be
advanced.
D
G
You
and
I
I
will
touch
base
on
how
we
are
addressing
the
feeder
program.
As
you
discussed
commission,
our
deputy
commissioner
tucker,
and
I
discussed
earlier.
G
You
know
this
week
or
last
week
regarding
not
only
having
our
swim
lessons
but
having
a
lifeguard
academy
for
summer
youth
employees
for
14
year
olds,
who
get
trained
throughout
the
summer
to
work
and
learn
how
to
be
lifeguards,
going
through
very
similar
things,
but
also
shadowing
the
lifeguards
at
the
pool
and
working
to
be
able
to
assist
kind
of
like
lifeguard
and
training,
getting
a
paid
experience.
And
even
if
they
don't
know
how
to
swim.
Learning
how
to
swim
as
well.
G
Through
our
swim
lesson
programs
by
helping
and
being
taught
how
to
swim
and
then,
when
they
turn
15
and
are
eligible
to
take
the
red
car
red
cross
certification
course.
G
We
would
be
able
to
offer
that
to
them,
because
we
offer
those
courses
as
well
for
city
of
albany
residents,
so
we're
working
on
developing
feeder
programs
so
that
we
have
a
sustained
lifeguard
supply
for
our
operations,
as
well
as
providing
youth
and
workforce
a
work
site
to
be
able
to
give
a
different
work
experience
that
they
can
take
with
them
anywhere
in
the
world
or
anywhere
in
the
developed
world.
G
I
should
say
where
there's
pools,
you
know
anywhere
in
the
us
essentially
and
canada,
as
well
as
other
nations,
but
also
be
able
to
help
provide
a
swim,
a
robust
swim
program
for
younger
kids
as
well
having
structures
so
that
if
you
go
to
the
pool
any
given
day
during
the
summer,
you
will
see
you
know,
city
of
albany
residents,
all
the
way
from
ages.
Five,
all
the
way
till
you
know,
22,
you
know
working
and
swimming
at
the
pool.
G
The
I
do
have
one
other
program
that
I
would
like
to
highlight,
which
is
kind
of
one
of
our
bigger
programs.
For
this
summer.
I
will
share
my
screen
again,
if
that's
okay,
sure,
okay,
so
this
last
program
that
I
want
to
talk
about
is
a
summer
team
basketball
league.
This
is
going
to
be
at
the
four
locations
listed
here.
Black
lives
matter
park,
hoffman
park,
hackett
park
and
madison
park.
G
This
is
gonna,
be
where
about
three
days
a
week,
teenagers
in
two
divisions,
13
to
15
and
13
to
16
and
then
17
to
19
will
be
able
to
play
and
compete
against
each
other
in
a
league
style
fashion
throughout
the
summer.
This
is
also
partially
supported
by
a
grant
fund,
which
is
focused
on
being
able
to
provide
health
metrics
for
young
young
males,
in
particular,
african-american
males
within
the
community.
So
that
way
we
can
be
able
to
help
and
promote
health
and
wellness.
G
G
In
the
city
of
albany,
you
know,
residents
will
be
able
to
have
a
league
to
be
able
to.
You
know,
participate
in
a
similar
fashion,
and
you
know
for
the
most
part,
it
runs
throughout
the
summer
three
days
a
week
and
is
currently
being
recruited
for
participants
as
it
is.
We
we
haven't
really
advertised
it
too
heavily
this
one,
but
we're
going
to
be
moving
quickly
in
the
next
week
and
you
know
weeks
to
come.
A
Now
that
is
separate
from,
I
think,
decky
or
jamel
was
doing
a
program.
Right
is.
G
That
they're
doing
a
program
specifically
at
the
arbor
hills
sports
complex,
which
again
is
supported
by
the
arbor
hill
sports
complex
committee,
which
we,
as
you
know,
city
representatives,
are
in
touch
with,
but
at
the
same
time
it
is
a
community-based
committee
that
helps
guide
decisions
and
programming
at
that
sports,
complex,
jamel,
jamel
hood
is
going
to
be
a
part
of
our
league
as
well
as
he
is
a
avid
basketball
enthusiast
and
a
great
community.
You
know
advocate
and
driver
of
you
know:
basketball
programs.
G
G
But
the
arbor
hill
sports
complex
program
is
a
separate
program
as
well
as
there
are
a
couple
other
leagues
in
the
in
the
city
as
well
that
do
go
on,
but
we
we
at
the
department
of
recreation,
wanted
to
be
able
to
highlight
and
run
a
program
of
ours
as
well,
not
and
where
our
intention
is
not
to
compete
with
the
other
leagues,
but
more
so
be
able
to
leverage
and
utilize
the
facilities
in
areas
that
haven't
been
utilized,
such
as
the
I
believe.
G
It's
the
x-men
league
that
has
been
down
at
lincoln
park,
lincoln
square,
which
I
know
they're
waiting
on
the
new
courts
that
project
to
move
forward,
as
well
as
the
arbor
hill
sports,
complex
league,
we're
not
looking
to
you
know,
take
over
or
interfere
with
those
we're
looking
to
be
able
to
facilitate
leagues
in
other
areas
of
the
city.
So
that
way
we
can
continue
to
build.
You
know
active
and
productive
recreation
activity
that
the
community
likes
enjoys
and
wants
throughout
the
summer.
A
Councilmember
johnson,
I'm
sure
you
and
I
may
have
the
same
questions
the
fields
that
hoffman
I
drove
by
there
was
a
football
league
going
who's,
organizing
all
these
fields,
with
all
the
organizations
that
are
out
there
because,
like
I
said
jamal
wants
it.
Oh
there's
a
lot
of
going
on
right
now,
especially
with
covet
kind
of
dying
down.
You
must
get
a
lot
of
requests
to
use
the
fields
financially.
A
G
Whatever
so,
sharing
the
screen
once
again,
if
we
go
up
facility,
reservations
can
be
conducted
through
here.
So.
E
G
Is
eligible
to
come
through
here
and
while
we
have
it
set
as
we
can
set
it
to
have,
residents
have
a
priority.
G
So
if
we
want
to
reserve
the
gymnasium
or
let's
say
hoffman
park
was
the
example
you
were
giving.
That
is
fully
football
field,
so
you
can
look
on
the
calendar
if
it's
green,
it
means
it's
opening
completely.
If
it's
yellow.
That
means
it's
partially
opened
if
it
was
reddit
or
all
red.
That
means
there
would
be
no
opening,
so
individuals
can
come
on
here,
create
their
account,
select
a
date
and
then
select
the
time
they
would
want
to
reserve
the
field.
G
If
they
want
to
repeat
the
reservation,
they
can
go
through
this
whole
process.
If
they
don't,
they
just
want
it
for
one
time
they
can
do
the
checkout
process
here,
it'll
give
the
information
and
just
like
with
any
you,
know
online
browser
and
not
browser,
but
the
online.
You
know
marketplace
you
go
through
a
checkout
process
and
you
create
a
reservation
you
get
emailed
at
the
end,
but
we
list
all
of
our
facilities
here
that
are
reservable
at
this
time.
Sometimes
it'll
be
based
on
season.
G
So
we
take
them
off
for
a
season
like
swim
burn,
skating
rink,
we
shouldn't
have
that
so
we
have
swinburne
park,
but
the
skating
rink,
oh,
we
do
have.
We
have
oh,
that
shouldn't
be
up,
we
should
be
taking
that
down,
but
again
it
comes
through
and
we
get
emails.
Whenever
a
reservation
is
made,
I
get
emailed
directly.
The
operations
manager
gets
emailed
directly
when
it
when
exactly
when
the
reservation
is
made
and
then
the
to
kind
of
give
an
internal
side
of
how
it
gets
processed.
G
We
go
here
to
our
facility.
Tab
pending
rentals
come
up
here
and
we
have
quite
a
few
that
need
to
be
addressed
right
now.
So
these
individuals,
the
users,
the
dates
the
times
the
locations
we
have
the
ability
to
accept
or
decline
based
on
you
know,
city
needs
or
you
know,
requirements
or
terms
and
conditions,
and
we
can
go
through
and
edit
adjust
if
we
need
to,
but
through
here
all
the
transactions
for
facility
reservations
are
kept.
G
We
have
a
record
of
everything
that
is
done
as
well
as
we
can
view
what
is
going
on
internally
view
via
calendars.
So
if
we
want
to
be
able
to
search,
you
know
we
can
see
the
facilities
closed
at
this
point.
This
is
summary
sports.
G
Complex
right
now
is
the
default
I
have
it
on,
but
we
have
you
know:
albany
youth,
our
albany
soccer
club
here
they
have
a
reservation-
gives
us
an
indication
that
money
is
due
by
the
red
dollar
sign
albany
senators
here
it
looks
like
the
reservation
is
tentative
because
it's
not
green,
so
this
is
a
way
that
we
track,
and
you
know,
look
at
all
these.
You
know
requests
that
are
coming
in
to
your
point.
G
If,
if
we
decide
as
a
city
that
we
want
to
be
giving
preference
to
residents,
we
have
the
ability
to
configure
this
so
that
residents
can
register
and
reserve
beforehand
over
other
individuals.
So
let's
say
we
open
up
our
reservation
process
march
15th.
We
can
open
it
up
for
residents,
maybe
in
february,
but
everybody
else
who
is
not
a
resident
wouldn't
be
able
to
register
until
march
15th.
G
So
we
have
the
ability
to
configure
in
that
regard
so
that
the
technology
works
for
us
and
that
it
is
a
more
21st
century.
Modern
way
of
being
able
to
conduct
the
business
of
recreation
management.
A
G
The
25
per
hour
came
from
a
consolidation
of
a
lot
of
the
price
points
that
were
going
about
back
in
2018.
When
I
came
into
my
role
here,
many
of
the
leagues
were
arguing.
Why
do
they
get
this
rate?
Why
do
they
get
this
rate
and
we
were
able
to
assess
internally
that
as
a
municipality
again,
equity
and
fairness
is
what
you
know
is
the
name
of
the
game
for
us.
So
we
made
it
for
all
of
our
facility
reservations
except
the
swinburne
skating
rink.
G
It
is
25
for
everybody,
but
the
swimmer
is
getting
ranked
just
like
is
you
know
the
same
for
everybody
at
sixty
dollars
an
hour,
we
were
going
to
be
bringing
it
to
the
council's
attention
about
possibly
changing
pricing
and
talking
about
in
greater
detail.
What
price
points
may
be
acceptable?
G
What
we
might
want
to
work
towards,
as
well
as
with
the
mayor's
office
and
the
budget
office
in
the
treasurer's
office,
to
be
able
to
kind
of
have
those
discussions
in
greater
depth
before
making
any
changes
so
right
now
we're
keeping
it
at
25
per
hour.
However,
there
is
always
the
the
option
of
if
it
is,
if
the
there
is
a
waiver
from
city
hall
or
the
commissioner,
you
know
we
have
the
opportunity
based
on.
G
We
have
an
academic
waiver
for
the
school
district
if
they
would
like
to
use
a
facility,
but
it's
and
it's
based
on
academic
needs
like
a
field
day
for
a
school.
We
may
you
know
waive
the
fee
for
that,
so
we
have
different
options
if
it's
a
sponsored
event
by
a
council
member,
so
to
speak,
we
would
you
know,
look
at
waiving
the
fee
for
for
those
as
well.
G
G
There
has
been
talk
about
a
non-resident
fee
which
would
be
about
1.25.
So
so,
if
it
was
a
25
dollar
fee
for
residence,
it
would
be
about
a
37.5
or
37.5
or
37.50
fee
for
non-residents.
G
We
talked
about
that,
but
we
haven't
implemented
it
yet,
just
because
we
want
to
have
we
want
to
do
our
due
diligence.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
it's
well
thought
out
and
that
the
you
know
city
administration,
whether
it's
city
hall,
you
know
the
common
council.
You
know
other
departments
that
everybody's
on
board
with
it
so
that
we
can
move
forward
in
a
in
in
the
most
appropriate
fashion.
E
Yes,
so
I
had
a
question:
what
where
does
hackett
park.
E
E
E
A
A
All
right,
thank
you
all
for
your
presentation.
It
was
a
very
well
thought
presentation.
I
like
the
internet,
it
gives
everybody
an
access
to
look
at
the
calendar.
So
if
any
group
from
outside
inside
wants
to
look
at,
I
know
waterfleet
has
that
they
do
that
with
dirt
dome.
It's
you
know,
you
know
anybody
off
the
street
can
look
at
it
and
say:
oh
I
want
to
use
swinburne
or
whatever
and
reserve
it.
I
think
it's
really
good.
G
Thank
you,
and
I
would
like
to
take
the
opportunity
to
say
if
you
haven't
created
an
account
on
our
system,
yet
please
feel
free
to
do
so
and
please
feel
free
to
register
for
any
programs.
We
also
use
it
to
be
able
to
check-ins
at
our
pool
facilities
at
our
skating
rink.
So
that
way
we
can
track
who
is
coming
and
going
at
all
of
our
facilities,
our
community
centers.
G
So
please
grab
an
account.
You
know
register
for
a
program
visit,
one
of
our
facilities.
You
know
check
in
sign
up
and
to
be
able
to
access
this.
It
is
directly
on
our
web
page
as
well.
So
please,
please
feel
free
to
do
so
as
well
as
forward
information
on
to
all
constituents
so
that
we
can
get
everybody
involved
and
everybody
informed.
A
Actually,
I
just
have
another
question:
I
should
ask
this
earlier
about.
Dudakovit.
Are
you
what
are
the
policies
and
procedures
going
forward
right
now
we're
at
with
the
kids
temperature?
What
are
you
doing.
G
Governor
cuomo's
released
new
guidelines
today
that
we're
meeting
internally
in
the
next
few
days
to
talk
about
how
we're
implementing
for
our
summer
programs
as
of
right
now
with
our
open
community
centers,
we
do
require
masks
to
be
worn
by
any
participant.
That's
coming
into
our
rec
centers
as
well.
As
you
know,
the
the
fitness
centers
down
at
the
quail
street
boxing
gym
and
the
lincoln
park
fitness
center.
G
We
don't
do
temperature
checks
as
people
enter
in,
but
we
do
monitor
and
track
who's
coming
in
as
well,
as
you
know,
make
sure
we
have
the
contact
tracing
ability,
but
it's
mostly
social,
distancing,
sanitizing
and
mask
wearing,
is
the
the
basis
of
the
protocols.
As
of
right
now,.
B
A
D
Oh
justin,
this
is
this
new
software
program
was
just
a
very
big
purchase.
I
mean
this
must
have
taken
quite
a
long
time
to
set
up.
G
So
the
purchase
we
back
in
the
fall
of
2019,
we
started
looking
at
different
opportunities.
We
had
rec
desk
previously,
which
was
about
a
3
500.
You
know
annual
investment,
we
it
wasn't
meeting
our
needs,
though,
and
even
half
of
our
staff
didn't
buy
into
it.
They
weren't
using
it.
We
weren't
getting
our
value
out
of
it.
So
as
we
looked
at
looking
elsewhere,
we
looked
at
various
different
companies.
G
This
one
stood
out
because
of
ease
of
use
functionality
and
the
ability
to
actually
get
the
job
done.
So
when
we
decided
to
make
the
transition
all
through
2020,
we
did,
you
know
testing,
we
did
you
know
previews,
you
know
trainings,
and
then
we
finally
were
able
to
make
move
forward
and
develop
a
contract.
So
the
the
first
initial
setup
fee
is
about
seven
thousand
dollars.
G
We
paid
twelve
thousand
total
for
this
first
year,
but
one
of
the
benefits
that
they
gave
us
because
it
is
the
same
company
that
actually
runs
the
web
site
for
the
city.
Civic
plus.
This
is
their
civic
rec
product
they
also
own
and
operate
c-click
fix.
G
So
we
now
have
three
different
products
from
the
same
company
which
the,
if
you're
familiar
with
the
web
page
and
enjoy
the
web
page,
which
I've
we've
built
the
recreation
webpage
and
we
think
it's
a
good
interface
overall,
very
user
friendly
same
thing
with
our
civic
rec,
very
user
friendly,
very
you
know,
gets
everything
done
that
we
need
to
get
done.
G
So
we
went
for
with
that
and
one
of
the
things
that
they
did
because
we
were
a
customer.
We
looked
at
a
bundle
option.
They
gave
us
the
audio
eye,
which
is
the
ada
compatibility
accessibility
feature
for
free
as
an
added
bonus
because
of
the
customer
value
that
they
value
the
city
of
albany,
as
customer
they're,
also
giving
us
document
upload
for
this
first
year
as
a
complimentary
service.
G
So
we
have
the
ability
to
upload
documents
securely,
whether
they're
health
records,
which
for
the
summer
we
by
governor
cuomo's
orders,
we
will
need
to
have
vaccination
records
up.
You
know
for
every
participant
in
the
in
our
programs,
which
is
you
know
again
a
very
time
saving.
You
know
cost-saving
endeavor
by
not
having
to
you
know,
staff
individuals
to
be
able
to
collect
all
that
data
information
from
all
the
participants
additionally
going
forward.
It
is
gonna,
be
about
a
four
thousand.
G
You
know
to
four
thousand
five
hundred
dollar
annual
for
the
first
three
years,
a
cost
which
we've
already
budgeted
for,
or
at
least
we've
put
it
in
our
budget,
and
we,
you
know
spoken
with
the
budget
office
about
that
which
is
a
little
bit
higher
than
the
previous
one,
but
at
the
same
time,
when
100
of
our
staff
are
using
it
and
we
we
didn't,
do
our
facility
reservation
process
on
our
old
system
because
it
didn't
work
for
us
and
now
100
of
the
operations
we
do
for
recreation
are
based
off
of
this
system.
G
We
are
getting
our
value
out
of
it.
Commissioner
jones
would
like
to
say
that
we
were
driving
an
old
beat-up
car
like
from
the
80s
before
and
now
we're
driving
a
brand
new
cadillac.
G
The
company
worked
with
us
to
be
able
to
do
that.
They
were,
you,
know
hands-on
with
us,
and
you
know
they
have
a
good
support
team
overall
and
we
launched
on
march
15th
and
when
we
presented
to
commissioner
jones
and
taught
him
how
to
use
it,
because
the
entire
team,
all
seven
of
us
here
at
recreation,
on
the
admin
side
side
we
presented
to
him
and
informed
him
how
to
use
it.
His
exact
words
were,
I
feel,
like
I'm
driving
a
brand
new
cadillac
right
now
compared
to
our
old
system.
G
So,
like
I
said,
please,
please,
you
know,
create
an
account
look
at
the
programs
and
you
know
like
we.
We
hope
that
it's
a
it's
a
great
tool
and
a
hub
of
information
as
well
as
activities
so
that
we
can
show
that
albany
is
a
great
place
to
live,
work
and
play.
A
E
Yeah,
so
I
just
would
like
to
say:
technology
is
a
gift
and
a
curse.
You
know
it
alleviates
and
makes
a
lot
of
things
easier,
but
it
it
it
takes
away
the
the
face-to-face.
E
You
know
a
lot
of
people
feel
like
you
know
that
that
they
can't
have
access
when
when
they
have
a
concern,
you
you
call
you
get
an
answer
machine
you
get,
I'm
gonna
send
a
person
to
to
a
voicemail,
you
don't
get
it
on
return.
That's
been
my
experience
as
a
councilman
so,
like
I
just
see
this
department
and
other
departments
in
the
city
just
going
automated
on
us,
and
I
think
that
you
know
once
again.
E
I've
said
this
time
and
time
again:
albany
is
a
hit,
a
relationship,
rich
town
and
you
know,
technology
sometimes
interferes
with
relationships.
E
So
I
just
will
hope
that
the
department
will
be
mindful
of
that
and
still
create
opportunities
for
people
who
aren't
tech
savvy
and
you
know,
don't
have
access
to
internet
or
or
computers.
Thank
you.
G
Thank
you,
councilman
councilmember
johnson,
just
to
speak
briefly
on
that.
We
have,
you
know,
kind
of
anticipated
again,
not
everybody,
and
we
we
know
for
sure
that
not
everybody
has
internet
access.
We
focus
on
making
sure
that
we're
using
technology
such
as
this
to
be
able
to
perform
the
you
know
75
percent
of
transactions
that
can
go
through
without
an
issue
and
that
people
you
know
they
get
it
in.
They
get
it
on
and
register
and
they're
good,
but
those
25
percent
that
either
you
know
can't
have.
G
Our
front
line
staff
can,
you
know,
engage
with
those
individuals
and
have
that
interaction
to
be
able
to
still
have
have
that
one-on-one
and
run
the
transaction
for
them.
It's
again
it's
to
alleviate
and
help
with
the
transactions
that
you
know
are
you
know
day-to-day
that
go.
G
You
know
100
well
and
don't
have
an
issue
with,
but
also
to
be
able
to
make
sure
that
we're
optimizing,
our
our
manpower,
our
our
woman
power,
our
our
staff
and
personnel,
to
be
able
to
do
the
job
effectively
for
all
you
know
97
000
residents
within
the
city,
because
we
are
like
most
city
departments.
You
know
we
we
get
stretched
in
from
time
to
time
and
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
can
give
quality
service
as
well
as
the
quantity
of
service.
G
We
appreciate
the
again
the
cautionary
advice,
so
thank
you
very
much.
A
H
Well,
I
was
going
to
say
something
one
of
the
things
I
wanted
to
bring
up.
Justin
and
I
know
your
department
no
longer
takes
care
of
the
cutting
the
grass
and
stuff,
but
I
do
have
a
problem
at
luanello
park
or
sunset
park
right
off
of
cortland.
The
grass
is
almost
two
feet
high.
Do
you
have
any
input
to
ggs
to
ask
them
when
parts
get
a
certain
way,
you
know
to
get
the
grass
cut.
I
know
it's
not
your
responsibility,
but
is
you
know,
while.
G
It's
not
when
you
work
sorry
to
interrupt
well,
it
is
not
my
responsibility.
The
I
like
to
take
it
upon
myself
as
a
resident
of
the
city
to
help
make
sure
that
we're
you
know
taking
pride
in.
You
know
where
we
live,
and
you
know
where
we
play
as
well
as
where
we
work,
so
we
do
meet
with
dgs
monthly
in
particular.
G
G
You
know
I
I'm
gonna,
be
sending
a
message
tomorrow
morning
to
my
counterparts
over
in
dgs
deputy
zioli,
as
well
as
deputy
geeble
house,
and
letting
them
know
that
as
well
as
jess
morgan,
the
you
know
park
supervisor
that
there
is
a
an
overgrowth
at
lunell
that
needs
to
be
addressed
immediately
and
that
again
it
and
they
they're
always
very
responsive,
especially,
I
mean
all
three
of
them,
but
jess
will
be.
G
H
Yeah
and
what
I
can
do
is
what
happened
was
a
resident
sent
me
an
email
and
also
emailed
dgs
complaining
about
it.
It
just
happened
a
few
hours
ago
and
it's
just
fresh
on
my
mind.
Well
we're
speaking
at
sunset
park.
Some
years
ago,
frank
comisso
got
a
grant
from
the
county
legislature
to
put
in
two
soccer
nets
and
they
really
gotten
in
there
like
the
net
netting
itself
is
falling
off.
H
You
know
in
the
past
they
in
the
wintertime.
They
would
take
the
nets
down
and
put
them
in
storage.
But
that
didn't
happen
this
year
and
with
kobit
I
you
know
I
can
understand,
but
is
there
any
way
we
could
have?
You
know,
take
a
look
at
those
soccer
goals
and
you
know
if
we
need
to
buy
a
couple
of
nets
for
it.
We
could
find
out
who
the
vendor
was.
You
know
they're
small
nets,
it's
not
big.
G
I'd
really
appreciate
it
if
the
goals
I'm
thinking
of
it's
either,
I
I
can
think
of
the
vendors.
You
know
two
possible
vendors
off
the
top
of
my
head,
but
what
I
can
do
is
make
sure
that
we
review
it
within
the
next
48
hours
and
then
we
can
be
able
to
ensure
that
we
move
forward
with
replacing
them
if
they
need
to
be
replaced
or
being
able
to
again
mitigate
the
situation
with
any
fixes
that
might
be
able
to
be
made.
But
I'm
sure
that.
H
Okay-
and
you
know
they
are
worth
a
couple
of
thousand
dollars
when,
when
we
bought
them
with
the
grant,
so
it's
good
and
jack
kind
of
let
in
and
I
mean
I
know
the
soccer
field
over
behind
the
the
downtown
the
alumni
quad.
I
can't
think
of
the
fields
we
played
beverly
park
that
you
know
the
coaches
themselves
are
bringing
in
lawn
mowers
to
keep
that
grass
cut.
H
But
you
know-
and
I
would
like
I
mean
you
know-
I
I
think
soccer
is
one
of
those
sports-
that
we
need
to
get
our
youth
involved
in
our
inner
city,
youth,
there's
a
lot
more
opportunities
and
we've
talked
before,
and
I
know
you
were
a
soccer
player
years
ago,
and
you
know
jack
kind
of
made
me
ask
about
it,
but
is
there
any?
How
are
we
doing
as
far
as
coming
up
with
a
really
good
playing
field
for
the
soccer
and
for
our
kids.
G
Well,
councilmember,
as
we
discussed,
I
believe,
mid
last
year,
or
maybe
even
2019,
it
was
more
of
you
know.
I
would
love
to
see,
and
commissioner
jones
is
kind
of
on
board
with
the
idea
of
a
soccer
complex
kind
of
taking
over
that
beverwick
park
area.
G
One
of
the
things
we've
actually
started,
working
towards
first
and
foremost,
is
to
be
able
to
do
the
planning
and
assessment
of
what
would
need
to
be
done
with
the
actual
soils
and
dirt
in
order
to
be
able
to
build
any
facility
on
there.
So
planning
is
the
first
and
actually
getting
architectural
plans.
G
Developed
we've
already
met
with
the
budget
office
and
when
we
did
preliminary
discussions
about
what
make
you
know
what
projects
we
would
like
to
see
coming
out
of
the
funds
that
are,
you
know
coming
from
the
the
federal
stimulus
package,
one
of
our
requests
was
for
capital
improvement
plans
for
not
only
you
know
doing
looking
at
the
beverwick
park
with
the
landfill
you
know
material
underneath,
but
also
looking
at
torino
soccer
fields
across
from
hoffman
park.
G
You
know
by
the
american
legion
baseball
field
and
across
from
the
fbi
building,
so
we
we're
looking
at
planning
and
assessing
so
that
way
we
can
have
legitimate
courses
of
action
as
opposed
to
just
you
know,
kind
of
throwing
things
at
the
wall
and
hoping
they
stick
we're
trying
to
make
sure
we're
methodical
about
it
and
that
way
we
have
in
a
definitive
way
to
be
able
to
say
in
in
two
years.
G
We
can
have
this
if
we,
you
know,
decide
to
move
forward
with
it
as
opposed
to
well
we're
going
to
try
and
look
at
this
or
we're
going
to
try
and
look
at
that.
So
that's
that's
where
we're
at
and
again
as
we
continue
to
develop
that
I'm
happy
to
reach
back
out
to
you
and
keep
you
involved,
because
one,
I
believe
many
hands
make
light
work,
but
also
too,
I
don't
have
the
full
picture
on
everything
in
general.
So
I
like
to
be
able
to
get
other
individuals
perspectives.
G
H
A
Just
since
we're
talking
about
fields
bleaker
stadium,
what's
the
update,
what
is
it
being
used
for?
Can
we
utilize
it
more
because
I
got
a
constituent.
Ask
me
about
blinker
stadium.
G
So
if
you
want
me
to
pull
up
the
counter,
I
can
show
you
we
can
show,
but.
G
Currently,
albany
twilight
is
utilizing
it
and.
A
G
Got
a
proposal
that
would
conflict
with
albany
twilights
and
we
were
gonna,
bring
it
to
the
council's
attention
because
we
figured
this
might
be
something
that,
as
well
as
the
mayor's
office
attention,
there
is
a
a
push
for
an
amateur
soccer
league
to
be
playing
at
ualbany
playing
their
games
at
ualbany,
but
they
would
like
to
do
a
practice
at
bleecker
stadium.
G
Their
practice
would
conflict
with
albany
twilight
but
they're
willing
to
be
able
to
put
back
in
and
they
proposed.
You
know
x,
amount
of
programs
for
a
significant
amount
of
programs
for
youth
to
be
able
to.
You
know,
operate
over
the
course
of
the
next
three
to
five
years:
camps:
clinics,
leagues
for
various
different
ages,
which,
from
a
perspective
of
you,
know
just
overall
value
when
you're
weighing
the
two
while
albany
twilight
is
a
nice.
G
You
know
spectating
amenity,
you
know
what
has
been
proposed
by
this
amateur
startup
soccer
league
is
very
enticing,
but
it's
something
that
again
needs
to
be
made
as
on
a
kind
of
greater
level,
we're
interested
to
hear
more
from
them,
they're
giving
us
a
proposal
as
far
as
they
have.
G
Proposal
we
do
plan
on
doing
a
second
meeting
with
them
and
the
individuals
are,
you
know,
for
the
most
part,
local
individuals
who
are
you
know,
well-versed
in
soccer
as
well.
As
you
know,
business
and
connected
with
professional
soccer
leagues,
so
we're
they.
They
have
a
legitimate
shot
of.
Actually,
you
know
moving
forward
with
their
amateur
team
and
they're
looking
for
a
practice
facility
in
which
they've
identified
bleaker
stadium
as
where
they
would
like
to
be
now.
E
G
A
soccer
facility
were
to
be
developed
at
beverly
park.
That
might
be
an
obvious
way
to
be
able
to
move,
but
at
this
moment
that's
kind
of
a
conversation
that
we're
having
which
again,
I'm
happy
to
be
able
to
bring
in
other
individuals
to
to
help
have
this
conversation,
because
it's
a
it's
a
bigger
conversation.
But
as
far
as
to
answer
your
question
bleaker,
stadium
twilight
league
is
going
through
august,
9th
they're
there
pretty
much
six
days
a
week
on
the
baseball
field.
G
We
have
the
swinburne
summer
camp
program,
that's
gonna,
be
in
the
morning
and
they're
gonna
use
that
field
during
the
morning
time,
and
then
we
have
the
softball
field,
which
is
reserved
for
various
different
groups
who
use
it
throughout
the
week.
So
we
have
baseball
field,
the
softball
field
going,
you
know
a
good
amount,
you
know.
So
it's
it's
fairly.
You
know
reserved
throughout
the
summer,
but
city
programs
do
take
priority.
G
So
if
there
is
something
that
needs
to
be
done
or
wants
to
be
done
again,
that
that
is
always
a
it's
in
our
terms
and
conditions
that
city
programs
always
take
priority
over
any
facility
reservation.
A
Well,
I'm
glad
you
said
that,
because
I
was
thinking
I
could
easily
put
four
kids
fields
in
bleecker
stadium.
You
know
that
was
my
point
that
it
could
be
utilized
for
kids
soccer.
G
Yeah
and
we've
we're
looking
at
that
and
one
of
the
things,
because
the
fence
is
so
the
iron
fence
around
it
and
I'm
not
sure
if
that's
actually
part
of
the
historic
aspect
of
the
facility,
if
not
just
the
building
linda,
you
might
be
able
to
tell
me
more
on
that,
but
because
you're
stationed
down
there
but
the
the
iron
gate,
the
fence,
we
actually
have
discussed,
possibly
removing
it,
because
it's
so
it's
so
expensive
to
just
maintain
and
making
it
more
of
like
an
open
park
as
opposed
to
a
stadium.
G
But
again
these
are
bigger
discussions
overall.
A
lot
of,
like
you,
know,
ideas
right
now
that
we
don't
you
know,
have
any
actions
to
move
forward
in
general
just
at
this
moment,
but
we
do
want
to
be
having
discussions
of
and
I
think
the
pandemic.
You
know
shined
a
light
on.
You
know,
parks
and
recreation
in
general
and
the
opportunities
that
we
have
in
the
city
and
and
how
we
do
have
spaces.
But
we,
you
know
a
lot.
E
G
Need
to
be
modernized
so
and
how
do
we
have
and
operate
modern
recreational
facilities
to
meet
the
needs
that
we
currently
have
and
that
we
want
to
have
not
only
you
know
tomorrow,
but
in
you
know,
2035.
Where
do
we
want
to
be,
and
what
do
we
want
to
be?
You
know
working
with
so
I
know
it's
kind
of
going
off
tangent,
but
you
know
bleaker.
Stadium
is
being
utilized,
people
always
want
to
use
it.
It
does
have
lights.
G
A
If
not,
thank
you
all.
Thank
you
for
your
hard
work.
Thanks
for
keeping
our
kids
safe
and
active,
that's
the
ultimate
goal
is
to
keep
them
occupied.
