2020 Reopening Report – Aug. 12, 2020
A
Hello,
everybody,
I'm
superintendent,
george
rollato,
and
this
is
the
second
in
our
weekly
series
of
reopening
reports
designed
to
provide
you
with
the
latest
information
on
the
2020-2021
school
year.
As
you
know,
and
have
experienced
first-hand,
this
has
been
an
incredibly
challenging
time
for
all
of
us.
A
A
This
has
been
an
incredible
challenge
and
I
am
convinced
our
teachers
and
staff
will
rise
to
meet
this
challenge
because
they
want
what
you
want,
what
we
all
want,
and
that
is
for
the
success
of
every
student.
I
know
how
incredibly
difficult
this
entire
experience
has
been
on.
Our
students
and
that
the
opening
of
the
school
year
in
the
virtual
environment
is
less
than
ideal.
A
A
I
know
parents
are
concerned
about
child
care
about
screen
time
about
active
real-time
engagement
between
students
and
teachers
about
academic
rigor,
about
returning
to
work.
These
concerns
are
real
and
we
are
all
working
through
as
many
solutions
as
possible.
Thank
you
for
your
continued
feedback
as
we
build
this
new
teaching
and
learning
environment.
