welcoming
our
distinguished

who
are
here
to
help
us
usher,
our
students
onto
their
college
and
career
opportunities.
Guess
when
I
read
your
name,
please
rise
to
be
recognized
and
audience.
Please
hold
applause
until
the
last
name
is
read
the
honorable
boomi

of

E
E
E
I
understand
the
homesickness
you
may
have
felt
once
you
said
goodbye
to
chesapeake
science
point
for
the
last
time.
I
know
the
fear
that
you
may
be
feeling
now
that
the
future
looks
like
a
blank
canvas,
a
blank
canvas
of
uncertainty
for
the
past,
including
kindergarten
13
years.
We
kind
of
all
knew
what
our
school
would
look
like:
the
same
linoleum
floors,
the
same
fluorescent
lighting
and
now
over
the
next
four
years
and
beyond
whether
that
means
university,
armed
forces,
trade
skills,
etc.
E
E
E
E
It
means
that
you
are
satisfied
with
the
life
that
you
are
living
and
I
know
because
most
of
us
at
arundel,
high
school
call
you
guys
at
chesapeake
science
point
just
a
bunch
of
brainiacs
that
sometimes
we
thought
that
success
was
straight
a's.
We
thought
that
success
was
being
validatory
in
or
getting
a
five
on
an
ap
exam
or
a
1500
plus
on
the
sat.
E
E
E
E
B
F
F
She'd
be
really
mad
at
me.
If
I
forgot
to
do
that
in
all
seriousness,
though,
let's
get
started
for
real
this
time
class
of
2020
class
of
2022.
When
is
the
last
time
you've
looked
back
on
your
past,
it's
important
but
often
forgotten.
We
can
get
so
caught
up
worrying
about
the
future
that
we
forget
our
past.
F
F
F
That
begs
the
question,
though,
what
about
tomorrow,
this
time
of
our
lives
may
be
at
its
end,
but
the
end
of
this
chapter
marks
the
beginning
of
another.
We
can't
keep
looking
back
forever
at
some
point.
We
have
to
look
forward
again
worrying
about
the
future
and
the
challenges
it
will
bring
is
natural
because
it's
the
very
definition
of
the
unknown.
F
We
have
no
idea
what
challenges
lie
ahead
of
us
and
that
thought
isn't
comforting.
However,
there's
a
saying
that
comes
to
mind
when
you're
comfortable,
you
aren't
improving.
If
you
let
the
worry
and
fear
of
the
future
control
you
you'll
never
get
anywhere,
instead
take
the
hardships
that
the
future
brings
and
face
them
every
time.
There's
something
in
your
way.
Don't
back
down
in
fear
overcome
it.
Adversity
is
not
a
brick
wall.
In
your
way,
it's
an
opportunity,
an
opportunity
to
grow,
improve
and
move
forward,
even
through
failure.
F
Finding
that
resolve
is
difficult,
but
that's
why
looking
back
on
your
prior
experiences
is
so
important
use
the
experiences
from
your
past
to
overcome
the
challenges
of
your
present
and
fight
for
a
better
future.
By
doing
so,
you
achieve
something
getting
a
new
experience
that
you
can
use
to
continue.
Improving
a
single
achievement
is
only
a
single
small
step,
but
continually
striving
to
achieve
higher
goals
is
how
you
plunge
forward
towards
a
bright
future.
F
There.
You
can
glance
back
for
a
moment
appreciating
how
far
you've
come
and
turned
to
face
the
unknown
again
with
a
smile,
it's
time
for
us
to
take
our
separate
ways,
and
I
know
that
all
of
you
are
capable
of
true
greatness.
If
you
fight
to
achieve
it,
it's
been
a
privilege
to
speak
here
tonight
and
a
privilege
to
be
a
part
of
this
class.
F
G
G
G
G
G
G
So
in
the
future,
remember
that
you
are
more
than
what
others
assume
you
are.
You
are
more
than
a
shape.
The
square
has
even
followed
us
to
graduation
as
we
are
currently
wearing
small
squares
on
our
head.
This
square
is
a
representation
of
all
the
trials
we
have
had
to
face.
It
represents
all
the
victories
we
have
achieved
and,
more
importantly,
all
the
setbacks
we
have
gotten
up
from
the
square
on
our
heads
absorbs
the
memories.
We
carry
the
memories
we
cherish
and
the
memories
that
mold
us.
G
G
G
G
H
Good
evening
chesapeake
science,
point
staff,
students,
families,
friends
and
distinguished
guests,
I
want
to
begin
by
saying
a
special
thank
you
to
our
administrators
teachers
and
parents.
Without
you,
all
none
of
this
would
be
possible.
I
want
to
go
on
and
express
how
proud
I
am
of
the
class
of
2022..
H
As
we
begin
the
next
chapter
of
our
lives,
I
think
it's
essential
to
recognize
the
importance
of
making
mistakes.
Life
won't
be
easy,
especially
as
we
continue
to
grow
up
and
become
more
independent
with
that
being
said,
we
need
to
gain
courage,
start
by
taking
pride
in
everything
that
you
do.
We
can't
stop
when
we
achieve
failure
or
mess
up,
because
experience
is
the
best
teacher.
H
Oh
sorry,
I'm
encouraging
everyone
here
to
make
mistakes,
and
I'm
not
just
saying
that,
because
I
just
made
one
do
not
wallow
in
them.
You
can't
expect
yourself
to
be
good
at
something
the
first
time
you
try
it
whether
it's
college,
your
career
or
anything
that
you
do
don't
be
afraid
to
make
mistakes,
stay
focused,
learn
from
them,
grow
from
them
and
don't
beat
yourself
up
about
them.
H
Franklin,
roosevelt
once
said
it
is
common
to
take
a
method
and
try
it
and
if
it
fails,
admit
it
frankly
and
try
another,
but
above
all
else
try
something
to
go
through
trial
and
error.
You
must
accept
error,
but
be
courageous
enough
to
keep
trying
in
order
to
figure
out
what
works
best
enough
for
you
to
succeed.
H
B
I
I
I
During
your
senior
year,
we
returned
to
in-person
learning
that
included
strict
safety
pros.
Excuse
me,
safety
protocols
such
as
masking
one-way
traffic
patterns,
limited
locker,
use,
assigned
seating
on
the
bus
and
in
the
cafeteria.
Yet
through
it
all,
you
persevere,
never
forget
that
you
have
what
it
takes
to
make
it
in
this
world.
I
The
world
needs
your
talents
as
you
enter
the
next
chapter
of
your
lives,
whether
it
be
college,
the
workforce,
trade
school,
the
military
or
combination
of
all
of
the
above
when
times
get
rough,
and
please
know
that
they
will
reflect
back
on
your
time
at
chesapeake
science
point
and
how
you
made
it
through.
One
of
the
roughest
periods
of
mankind
dig
deep
rely
on
your
faith
and
remember
to
stay
the
course.
We
are
proud
of
you
and
look
forward
to
hearing
all
about
your
future
endeavors.
Congratulations
to
you!
The
class
of
2022.
I
E
By
virtue
of
the
authority
vested
in
the
anne
arundel
county
board
of
education
under
the
laws
of
the
state
of
maryland,
I
do
now
award
diplomas
evidencing
the
satisfactory
completion
of
the
prescribed
course
of
studies
to
the
students
of
chesapeake
science.
Point
public
charter
school,
who
have
been
recommended
for
graduation
by
the
faculty
of
this
school.
I
Thank
you.
The
latin
honors
system
recognizes
exceptional
academic
achievements
by
graduating.
Students
who
are
delineated
into
three
levels
of
honors
laude
or
with
honors
is
for
all
students
who
have
received
a
3.4
or
higher
unweighted
gpa,
calculated
after
the
seventh
semester
of
high
school.
These
students
are
recognized
today
with
a
bronze
stole,
will
all
laude
graduates.
Please
stand
now,
so
we
may
recognize
your
achievements.
I
I
I
I
I
would
like
to
introduce
miss
julianne
sawicki,
who
will
announce
the
class
of
2022,
whose
last
name
start
with
a
through
l
parents.
We
ask
that
you
keep
the
applause
to
a
minimum,
just
so
that
every
student's
name,
who's
being
called,
is
heard.
We
don't
want
to
deprive
their
parents
of
hearing
their
student's
name
being
called
mr
wiki.

I
I
I
I
Thank
you
all
thank
you
for
making
this
day
and
all
the
days
spent
at
chesapeake
science
point
so
special.
I
would
like
to
remind
you
that,
because
of
covert
restrictions,
we're
asking
all
graduates
and
their
families
to
exit
the
auditorium
immediately
at
the
conclusion
of
the
ceremony,
there
are
no
opportunities
for
picture
taken
inside
the
auditorium.
However,
you
may
take
pictures
outside
of
the
building
families.
Please
wait
to
leave
until
all
students
and
faculty
have
exited
the
auditorium.
I
Once
all
graduates
have
and
faculty
have
exited.
Please
leave
the
auditorium
expeditiously,
maintaining
social
distance
so
to
speak.
We
just
don't
want
you
to
push
and
crowd
and
shove
one
another.
This
concludes
tonight's
activities.
Thank
you
all
once
again,
once
again
class
of
22
2022.
Congratulations
to
you!
Cue!
The
music.
