Keep
using
the
mic,
oh
god,
we
pray
to
administer
that
which
is
just
in
all
educational
policies.
Being
ever
mindful
of
your
guidance,
stir
us
to
action
with
love,
wisdom
and
understanding,
and
now
for
the
pledge.
A
A
Okay,
I
apologize
for
some
of
the
technical
difficulties.
There

approval
of
the

F
Sorry,
madam
president,
I
have
a
motion.
A
Is
this
for
the
minutes?
Oh
sorry,
okay.
Thank
you.
Apologies,
no
worries.
Is
there
any
comments,
corrections
on
the
minutes
or
do
I
have
a
motion.

J
Good
afternoon,
president
ellis
vice
president
shalheim,
dr
alato
and
members
of
the
board,
thank
you
for
this
opportunity
to
address
our
community.
As
we
come
back
to
the
new
school
year,
I'm
russell
leone,
an
elementary
school
teacher
and
president
of
the
teachers
association
of
anne
arundel
county
as
we
meet
thousands
of
teachers,
counselors
speech,
pathologists,
psychologists,
ppw's,
custodian
secretaries
and
too
many
more
to
name
are
working
in
our
buildings
across
the
county.
J
J
I
know
my
colleagues
and
I
know
that
they
will
continue
to
rise
to
these
challenges,
as
they
have
for
the
last
16
months
and
to
the
parents
of
the
communi
in
the
community.
We
have
heard
you
throughout
this
pandemic
and
continue
to
listen.
We
are
here
for
your
children,
and
the
trust
that
you
have
placed
in
us
to
protect
them
as
they
learn
to
and
grow
is
the
highest
sign
of
faith.
J
We
know
that
our
students
watch
and
look
to
the
adults
to
model
these
best
practices
in
all
the
settings,
and
for
that
our
students.
We
are
excited
that
you
will
be
back
and
we
have
really
missed
you
and
we
are
welcoming
you
to
a
new,
exciting
learning
experiences
of
the
year
ahead,
and
while
we
still
look
for
answers
and
assurances
from
this
board
of
education,
around
health
and
safety,
the
educators
are
committed
to
providing
the
highest
quality
learning
that
you
have
come
to
know
and
expect
from
the
aacps
educators.
J
A
Item
2.06
recognitions:
we
have
none
today,
item
2.07
educator
of
the
month,
miss
frank.
K
K
Why
is
freetown
elementary
such
a
great
place
to
teach
and
learn
because
great
trickles,
down
from
the
top
outstanding
programs
require
that
decisions
are
based
on
what
is
beneficial
for
others?
Students,
staff
and
families
are
equally
treasured
receptive
to
others,
opinions
and
perspective.
Miss
edmonds
and
miss
clang
acknowledge
and
welcome
the
expertise
of
staff,
including
them
and
families
when
appropriate
as
part
of
the
decision-making
process.
K
Several
examples
of
this
are
during
the
1920s
staff
back
to
school
days,
all
newly
hired
and
those
who
hadn't
been
previously
enjoyed
escorted
tours
of
our
historic
community,
with
information
insights
provided
by
a
lifetime
resident,
what
a
beautiful
way
to
build
commonality
firmly,
believing
that
all
who
qualify
for
intervention
ought
to
receive
it
and
limited
with
staffing.
Ms
edmonds
dedication
compelled
her
to
provide
the
training
herself
in
spite
of
an
overloaded
schedule.
K
K
K
Professional
development
is
always
encouraged
and
supported
by
allowing
sufficient
time
for
staff
to
investigate
research
and
dialogue
with
educational
resources,
either
through
coursework
or
bio
networking
within
the
building
and
aacps
to
benefit
from
colleagues,
knowledge
and
experience
always
available
regardless
of
day
or
time.
They
will
stop
working
to
talk
to
staff,
making
an
effort
to
immediately
address
any
concern,
even
if
not
a
priority
for
the
administrative
day.
K
Authentic
contributions
are
not
speculative
or
theoretical.
They
are
practical,
positive
and
constructive,
amanda,
edmonds
and
melissa.
Kling's
leadership
proves
to
be
progressive
in
that
it
serves
to
move
individuals
forward.
Students
and
staff
are
bolstered
by
honest,
achievable
goals
that
are
enduring
not
just
for
this
year.
K
K
K
K
This
board
appreciates
the
commitment
that
the
both
of
you
have
made
to
freetown
to
the
freetown
community.
As
a
special
note,
I
want
to
mention
that
your
nomination
form
was
signed
by
over
40
supportive
staff
members
of
the
freetown
elementary
school.
Congratulations
on
being
the
dual
winners
of
the
educator
of
the
month
for
september
2021.
L
I'm
sorry
good
afternoon,
can
you
hear
me?
Okay,
yeah,
okay,
so
on
on
behalf
of
melissa,
and
I
we
thank
you
for
the
for
the
recognition
this
afternoon.
L
L
We
were
stunned
and
I
think
that
we
were
stunned
because
in
the
midst
of
everything
that
they
are
enduring
and
that
they
have
endured
in
the
midst
of
the
care
and
the
consideration
that
they
give
to
their
own
families
and
that
they
continue
to
give
to
our
school
community
the
fact
that
they
thought
of
us
and
took
the
time
to
really
recognize
us
was
moving
and
we
do
what
we
do,
because
we
love
our
students
and
we
absolutely
adore
our
school
community.
L
But
I
have
to
say
that
we
are
only
an
extension
of
the
staff
that
we
have
here.
They
are
the
utmost
professional
and
we
have
the
utmost
respect
for
them
as
professionals.
L
You
know.
I
think
that
when
we
realized
that
we
were
being
recognized,
it
was
very
uncomfortable.
This
is
very
uncomfortable
for
melissa
and
I,
however,
the
fact
that
it's
virtual
actually
probably
feels
more
right,
because
we
get
to
do
this
here
and
in
our
school
with
our
staff
and
that's
what
means
everything
to
us,
so
we
humbly
accept,
and
we
just
appreciate
the
recognition
and
the
time.
So
thank
you.
A
Well,
that
was
hi
all
thank
you
all
that
was
very
inspirational.
Clearly,
you
have
created
a
very
supportive
environment
there
and
congratulations
to
you.
A
A
Who
is
bilingual
facilitator
at
meade
high
school
at
meade,
high
school?
It
takes
a
village
to
help
our
students
and
our
staff.
Ms
bocanegra
bilingual
facilitator
goes
above
and
beyond
to
help
her
students,
especially
during
virtual
and
hybrid
learning,
miss
bocanegra,
worked
tirelessly
to
help
schedule,
conferences
and
meet
the
needs
of
the
esau
families.
A
Miss
spoken
niagara
displays
a
high
degree
of
willingness
to
assist
other
staff
members
by
helping
to
make
phone
calls
home
and
assist
with
communications
when
there
is
a
language
barrier,
she
advocates
for
her
students
and
families
by
helping
them
find
resources
which
support
their
needs
daily
is
a
positive
influence
on
those
around
her
always
smiling.
The
esau
department
at
meade
high
school
would
not
be
a
success
without
her
support.
A
She
is
professional
and
works
constantly
with
the
school
staff
and
students
as
a
go-between
to
erase
any
language
barriers.
She
is
committed
and
helps
everyone
in
need,
regardless
of
the
time
and
time
of
day
daily
bocanegra.
You
are
absolutely
deserving
of
the
employee
of
the
month
award
for
september
2021.
M
Yes,
definitely
I
want
to
thank
the
board
and
dr
lotto
and
the
committee
that
shows
me
I
found
out
yesterday
was
very
very
surprised,
blown
away
by
this
recognition
and,
as
the
teacher
mentioned
a
minute
ago,
it's
really
humbling
because
I
see
so
many
people
around
me.
The
easel
team,
everyone
here
at
mid
high
all
the
teachers
and
admin
working
so
hard
and
I
feel
like
it's.
It's
not
just
me.
M
It's
really
wonderful
and
of
course
I
need
to
mention
the
bilingual
facilitator
team,
even
though
we're
all
spread
out
throughout
the
county,
but
we
always
support
each
other
and
we
push
each
other,
and
it
really
is
a
privilege
to
be
a
part
of
the
team,
and
I
receive
this
in
honor
of
all
the
bilingual
facilitators,
because
I
know
that
they
work
as
hard
or
sometimes
even
harder
than
than
I
do
myself.
So
I
just
need
to
mention
them.
It's
a
wonderful
team
and
it
really
is
an
honor.
A
Oh
I
and
look
at
that.
We
we
we
agreed
to
move
that
item
and
I
didn't
make
a
note
on
my
agenda
there.
So
next
we
have
item
4.05,
pta
report,
miss
tamara
beaker.
Thank
you
for
being
here.
N
Hello
good
afternoon,
president
ellis
vice
president
shel
heim,
dr
arlatto
board,
members
and
guests.
My
name
is
mallory
lafon,
president
of
the
anne
arundel
county
councils
of
ptas.
First,
I
would
like
to
say
welcome
back
to
all
of
our
teachers,
administrators
bus
drivers
and
building
staff.
We
hope
that
the
2021-22
school
year
is
a
great
year
filled
with
fun,
academic
success
and
lots
of
new
friends.
Aacc
pta
and
our
local
ptas
are
committed
to
supporting
you
all
through
this
year.
N
N
The
remainder
of
this
statement
can
be
found
on
our
facebook
page
for
the
tac
website.
Aacc
pta
also
stands
with
the
national
pta
in
backing
the
cdc
and
their
recommendations
for
a
healthy
and
equitable
entrance
into
schools.
We
also
support
the
recent
vote
of
the
msde
and
the
emergency
requirement
of
masking
in
the
school
buildings.
N
The
pta's
mission
is
to
make
every
child's
potential
a
reality
and
to
aaccpta
this
means
a
safe,
healthy
and
equitable
return
to
the
classroom.
In
order
to
do
this,
we
believe
that
there
should
be
consistency
and
transparency
and
reopening
plans,
along
with
layered
strategies
of
protection,
including
social
distancing,
when
possible
and
appropriate.
Like
lunchtime,
updated
air
ventilation
masking
and
thorough
cleaning.
We
also
believe
there
should
be
transparency
and
effective
communication
and
notifying
parties
about
positive
cases.
N
A
So
the
first
speakers
we
have
with
us
will
be
speaking
on
agenda
item
5.02
board
budget
priorities
for
fiscal
year
2023,
starting
with
richard
walker,.
P
O
Okay,
so
budget
deals
with
where
your
money
goes,
and
specifically,
I
wanted
to
say,
pay
your
teachers,
more
trichodon
economics
does
not
work
paying
more
at
the
top,
does
not
make
it
down
to
the
workers
that
matter.
I
saw
teacher
appreciation
week
last
year
and
it
was
saying
all
the
teachers
are
special.
We
should
respect
them
in
everything
and,
while
that's
true,
teachers
require
more
than
a
pat
on
the
back
in
a
good
job.
O
Nurses
were
considered
saviors
of
the
pandemic,
but
that
did
not
translate
into
anything
but
spite
and
anger
towards
our
health
care
system.
After
everything
was
said
and
done,
teachers
are
the
most
important
part
of
the
school
system,
not
the
process,
not
the
buildings,
not
the
board.
The
teachers
pay
your
teachers
more
minimum
wage
or
even
moderate
wage
is
not
enough.
Happy
teachers
make
solid
students.
You
can
consistently
congratulate
your
staff
and
your
students
welcome
them
and
be
civil,
but
that's
all
words
that
doesn't
mean
anything
prove
you
care,
pay
your
teachers
more.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you
next
tina,
belford.
Q
Good,
thank
you.
Thank
you.
So
hi,
my
name
is
tina.
I'm
a
mom
of
two
boys
ages,
5
and
11..
I'm
a
registered
nurse
at
a
local
hospital
with
10
years
of
adult
icu
experience
and
I'm
a
member
of
the
anne
arundel
county
chapter
of
moms
for
liberty.
I'm
speaking
today
on
the
agenda
item
regarding
board
budget
priorities.
Q
So
priority
number
one
for
the
capital
budget
is
health
and
safety,
and
I
agree
it
should
be.
Health
and
safety
are
on
the
minds
of
all
of
us:
parents,
kids
and
a
cps
staff
alike,
as
we
prepare
to
enter
the
buildings
for
school
this
year.
We
all
know
that
covid
is
very
real
and
something
that
has
instilled
a
lot
of
fear
in
us
rightfully.
So
when
we
knew
very
little
about
it.
Q
However,
now
that
we
are
armed
with
more
information
and
hard
data
like
how
it
has,
thankfully
spared
our
kids
for
the
most
part,
we
need
to
move
beyond
the
fear
and
make
decisions
based
on
facts.
There
are
health
and
safety
issues
that
are
of
far
greater
concern
to
our
kids,
like
mental
health
and
suicide
abuse
and
neglect,
malnutrition
and
obesity
and
online
predators.
Q
We
need
to
move
beyond
the
focus
on
covid
and
widen
the
lens
when
we
make
decisions
for
our
aacps
families.
This
budget
is
important
to
our
teachers,
our
staff
and
our
kids.
Let's
make
choices
in
their
best
interests
that
are
not
only
based
on
facts,
but
also
based
on
the
reality
that
there
is
a
reality
beyond
covid
that
needs
attention
too.
Q
I
and
my
fellow
members
of
moms
for
liberty
are
here
to
support
the
board
and
the
superintendent
and
to
offer
guidance
on
the
important
decisions
that
you
will
make
that
directly
affect
our
biggest
treasures,
our
kids.
We
love
our
teachers
too,
and
we
could
not
do
this
without
them.
We
are
all
on
the
same
team.
We,
the
parents,
are
involved
in
this
too.
Please
give
us
the
opportunity
to
help
do
what
is
best
for
our
kids.
We
are
the
ones
who
know
them
best.
Q
R
Good
afternoon
india,
oaks
parent
of
a
rising
sixth
grader
at
bates
middle
school
budget
discussions
will
be
going
on
for
months.
So
I
appreciate
that
budget
priorities
was
on
the
agenda
and
I
look
forward
to
the
day
where
we
can
move
to
new
priorities
when
funding
our
children's
education,
but
right
now
the
priorities
are
the
same
ones
fought
for
year
in
and
year
out,
with
the
last
18
months,
making
them
even
more
critical
for
the
health,
safety
and
welfare
of
both
students
and
staff.
R
We
need
as
many
additional
teachers
as
possible
because
large
class
sizes
not
only
impact
learning
and
teacher
retention,
but
the
ability
to
properly
social
distance.
We
need
much
more
special
education
staff
and
support,
given
our
county
always
has
been
on
the
brink
of
federal
non-compliance
and
the.
I
R
A
I
S
Hey
super
so
first,
I
want
to
thank
the
board
for
the
opportunity
to
speak
today
and
I
especially
want
to
thank
principal
jennifer
creamy
and
the
staff
at
pasadena
elementary
who
have
taken
such
good
care
of
my
three
school-aged
children.
We
love
you
guys.
We
can't
wait
for
you
to
meet
savannah
next
year
in
kindergarten.
S
Now
the
fall
of
2020,
the
board
wisely
chose
to
sort
of
courageously
adopt
a
virtual
attendance
policy
and
the
spring
the
board
wisely
adopted
a
hybrid
education
structure
too,
and
in
planning
the
fall
2021
education
structure.
You
can
see
from
the
data
that
I
provided
to
the
board
in
advance
of
my
remarks.
N
S
It
appeared
that
kovit
was
completely
defeated.
The
data
showed
that
in
anne
arundel
county
it
was
coveted,
was
practically
dead,
but
that
data
is
stale
now
and
the
covenant
environment
has
changed
now
compared
to
last
year,
when
the
board
went
full
virtual
covet
cases
in
anne
arundel
county
have
almost
tripled
and
are
on
the
rise.
Covid
is
deadlier
than
it
was
before.
S
Breakthrough,
infections
and
deaths
are
not
uncommon
in
people
who
are
already
vaccinated
and
code
cases
in
around
the
county
are
on
the
rise
of
people,
experience,
multiple
infections
and
the
disease
is
infecting
a
hundred
thousand
plus
children
per
day
in
this
country.
Now,
and
children
were
much
safer
a
year
ago.
So,
even
though
70
of
us
are
vaccinated
compared
to
you,
know
20
or
30
percent
this
time
last
year,
the
covet
situation
is
much
much
worse
and
I'm
a
retired,
combat
vet
of
afghanistan
and
the
burn
pits
destroyed.
S
My
lungs,
so
covet
could
be
a
death
sentence
for
me,
I'm
the
sole
provider
for
my
household-
and
I
know
this
school
board-
has
the
agility
to
open
up
a
virtual
attendance
option.
In
view
of
all
the
things
they've
achieved
in
the
previous
semesters-
and
I
mean
you've
taken
the
show
completely
virtual
in
less
severe
circumstances,
so
please
please
immediately
give
parents
a
virtual
option
if
they
want
it.
That's
not
to
say
that
that
is
the
right
thing
for
another
parent,
but
it's
definitely.
S
The
right
thing
for
my
family
covet
is
worse
than
ever,
and
I
think
this
trajectory
you
know
could
become
much
much
worse
and
some
of
us
can't
afford
to
go
down.
You
know
and
we
can't
get
into
the
virtual
academy,
because
it's
all
the
way
full
your.
T
All
right,
hi,
I'm
dale
basista
father
of
three
school-aged
children
we
suffered
through
an
entire
year,
watching
our
children
spend
eight
hours
a
day
in
face
masks.
We
went
along
with
it,
hoping
it
would
be
temporary,
I'm
here
today
to
plead
with
those
in
charge
to
make
masking
a
choice,
not
mandatory,
because
there
are
no
facts
or
science
lending
credibility.
Such
extreme
measures
covet
very
rarely
has
any
significant
impact
on
children.
We
have
to
keep
saying
it
because
it's
true
cobit
poses
almost
no
risk
to
our
kids
at
all.
Thank
god.
T
4.2
million
children
have
tested
positive
for
covid
and
a
total
of
point
zero.
Zero.
Eight
percent
of
them
died.
That's
less
than
four
hundred.
That's
such
an
incredibly
low
mortality
rate.
It
doesn't
make
sense
to
even
worry
about
it.
They
want
us
to
pretend
that
everybody's
equal
regarding
covid,
acting
as
if
everyone
is
in
a
high-risk
group
but
they're
not.
T
We
should
all
rejoice
in
the
fact
that
children
are
mostly
unaffected
by
this
disease,
but
instead
of
that,
those
in
charge
are
happy
to
submit
them
to
the
psychological
abuse
by
forcing
them
to
wear
face
masks
all
day.
There
are
potentially
greater
risks
than
kova
to
consider
for
these
kids.
What
about
the
psychological
damage
done
to
children
by
teaching
them
that
the
air
is
toxic
and
that
everyone
around
them
is
sick?
What
about
the
health
risks
of
making
making
children
breathe
in
their
own
sweat,
spit
and
dirt
soaked
rags
for
eight
hours
every
single
day?
T
What
does
it
do
to
a
child's
immune
system
if
they
have
to
wear
a
mask
all
day?
How
does
it
affect
the
child's
oxygen
levels
in
the
blood
and
in
the
brain
from
an
educational
perspective?
How
do
masks
hinder
a
child's
ability
to
learn
to
read
and
enunciate
words
when
they
can't
visually
see
their
teachers
faces
while
they're
speaking
to
them?
The
answer
is,
we
don't
know
we're
living
through
this
science
experiment
in
real
time.
T
Despite
all
this,
those
in
positions
of
leadership
are
satisfied
to
place
this
burden
on
children
anyways,
and
it's
not
to
keep
the
kids
safe.
It's
not
to
keep
the
adults
safe
because
they
could
all
get
vaccinated
if
they
want.
The
only
reason
schools
are
mandating,
masks
is
to
make
themselves
feel
better
and
protect
themselves.
Optically
and
politically.
The
child's
mask
is
nothing
more
than
a
symbolic,
secure,
symbolic
security,
blanket
for
the
adults,
not
the
children.
It's
a
disgrace
and
anyone
who's
in
favor
of
masking
children
should
feel
ashamed
of.
A
Themselves,
thank
you.
Valerie
cinnamon,.
U
U
I
took
him
for
an
express
pcr
test
that
evening
his
fever
lasted
less
than
24
hours
sunday.
He
woke
up
completely
normal.
It
wasn't
until
late
sunday
that
we
got
his
positive
result.
Three
days
later,
my
oldest
daughter
lost
her
taste
and
smell
two
days
after
that
on
august
12th,
my
husband
woke
up
with
symptoms.
He
tested
positive
five
days
later
and
ten
full
days
after
my
son
tested
positive
on
august
17th,
I
tested
my
two
youngest
daughters
as
a
precaution.
U
U
U
Pans
is
basically
caused
by
brain
inflammation
following
strep
flu
or
other
illness.
Multi-System
inflammatory
syndrome
in
children
or
misc
is
now
my
next
big
concern
for
my
kids.
Instead
of
developing
ocd,
tics
anxiety
and
other
symptoms
of
pans,
I
now
worry:
their
organs
may
react
to
covid
the
way
their
brains
react
to
stress
with
more
life-threatening.
U
Even
if
my
children
do
not
develop
complications,
that
doesn't
mean
another
child,
won't
children
in
schools
will
get
covent,
they
will
bring
it
home
and
even
vaccinated
teachers
and
parents
will
get
sick
400
children
dying
from
covid
is
400
too
many.
You
need
a
solid
plan
for
testing
notification
and
quarantining,
because
this
is
not
going
away,
it
will
get
worse.
The
spread
will
happen
if
routine
testing
isn't
used
if
further
mitigation
isn't
implemented,
such
as
masking
and
air
filtration.
U
In
areas
where
students
will
be
unmasked,
the
spread
will
happen
quickly
now
it's
time
for
you
to
stop
making
your
unnecessary
motions
that
are
wasting
everyone's
time,
jeopardizing
our
students
and
family's
health.
Your
time
has
expired
to
develop
responsive
policies
and
hold
yourselves
accountable.
Thank
you.
U
A
W
W
I
have
so
much
mom
guilt
for
not
protecting
my
children
from
the
damage
sooner
as
a
result
of
the
mass
causing
bacteria
buildup,
my
six-year-old
needed
to
have
metal
fillings
from
cavities
on
three
of
her
baby
teeth.
We
know
that
a
single
viral
particle
of
covin-19
is
about
0.1
microns,
whereas
the
pores
and
the
surgical
mask
are
200
to
1000
times
that
size
mass
can
increase
the
risk
of
influenza
linked
illness,
because
bacteria
is
50
times
larger
than
the
virus
particles,
so
bacteria
stays
trapped
inside
the
mask
while
the
virus
escapes
it.
W
Mass
causes,
depletion
in
oxygen,
increased
risk
of
bacterial
infection
and
a
delay
in
social
development.
A
delay
in
a
young
child
to
a
child
far
outweigh
the
unnecessary
use
of
the
mask
for
the
false
sense
of
security.
The
mask
helps
to
prevent
the
spread
of
covid.
Additionally,
student
board
member
miss
amisori
is
a
representation
of
the
student
population.
W
Her
reaction
during
the
board
meeting
was
a
true
reflection
of
the
fear-mongering.
That's
been
happening
across
our
nation.
Ms
amassori
expressed
irrational
fear
of
his
fellow
student
dying
because
said
student
was
not
wearing
a
mask
or
was
not
vaccinated.
When
the
actual
science
studies
and
facts
showed
that
children
are
very
far
the
least
affected
by
covid
on
behalf
of
all
adults,
I
want
to
sincerely
apologize
for
allowing
you
and
all
the
children
to
be
adversely
affected
by
all
the
fear-mongering
in
the
media,
the
leadership
and
the
trusted
adults
that
surround
you.
W
You
are
all
you
and
all
children
should
have
never
been
subjected
to
the
politically
motivated
tyrannical
psychological
abuse.
As
a
parent,
I
want
the
ability
to
choose
whether
my
kids
wear
a
mask
or
not.
I
don't
want
my
children
to
continue
to
suffer.
I
want
them
to
have
a
beautiful
childhood
and
to
protect
them
from
the
fear
that's
being
artificially
promulgated.
A
X
Okay,
I
don't
know
why
my
camera's-
not
working
so
apologies,
but
first
I
want
to
yeah
first,
I
want
to
say
that,
in
the
absence
of
a
state
of
emergency,
the
board
does
not
have
the
right
to
prevent
in-person
public
testimony
during
the
board
meetings.
Simply
because
you
have
security
concerns.
X
There
are
ways
to
manage
a
crowd.
Just
as
the
city
of
annapolis
department
does
and
guess
what
here's
a
news
flash.
We
parents
we
pay
for
these
buildings.
We
are
your
constituents.
We
voted
you
into
office.
We
have
the
absolute
right
to
be
able
to
look
you
straight
in
the
eye
without
giving
you
the
opportunity
to
multitask,
ignore
a
screen
or
simply
walk
out
of
the
room
when
something
is
being
said
that
you
don't
like.
X
Secondly,
since
two
speakers
at
the
last
board
meeting
thought
it
appropriate
to
take
open
fire
on
miss
frank
and
either
one
of
your
own
colleagues
decided
to
take
to
the
airways
of
her
soapbox
of
a
facebook
page
and
claim
that
she
feared
for
her
life,
because
two
members
exercised
the
right
to
not
wear
a
mask.
I
thought
it
would
be
appropriate
to
show
our
support
for
miss
frank
this
time
and
thank
her
for
continuing
to
represent
her
constituents
the
best
way
possible
and
for
always
putting
our
students.
First.
X
Ms
frank,
thank
you
for
all
of
the
work
you
do
in
our
communities.
I
can
promise
you
that
many
many
of
us,
which
you
must
success,
success
and
support
whatever
personal
endeavors
you
decide
to
pursue
outside
of
this
board
and
lastly,
regarding
quarantining
protocols
in
the
schools,
aacps
stated
that
quarantining
periods
may
not
be
shortened
by
a
negative
test.
X
On
day
seven,
however,
when
I
called
the
department
of
health
about
this,
they
were
abundantly
clear
that
the
cdc
guidance,
along
with
the
department
of
health
recommendations,
the
accps,
is
to
allow
kids
to
test
out
a
quarantine
on
day
seven.
So
dr
alato
and
I
wish
I
could
look
you
in
the
eye
to
say
this.
X
It
appears
that
you
have
chosen
to
implement
your
own
role
on
quarantining
versus
following
these
guidelines,
and
what
I
find
most
interesting
is
that
this
goes
against
everything
that
you
have
been
telling
us
for
the
past
18
months,
where
you
only
follow
the
direction
of
the
department
of
health.
Personally,
I
would
think,
as
a
school
superintendent,
who's
supposed
to
have
the
student's
best
interest.
Their
time
has
expired.
You
would
want
to
ensure
maximum
in-person
learning
for
our
students,
yet
you
have
ruled
against
that.
X
Y
A
Y
Good
afternoon,
members
of
the
board
and
dr
arlado
for
the
record
jaden
ferris,
pronounced
he
they
junior
at
south
river
high
school.
When
I
speak
to
you
today,
as
an
advocate
for
my
fellow
peers,
I'd
like
to
speak
on
a
few
mitigation
methods
that
are
essential
in
carving
the
spread
of
coba
19,
simple
task,
as
in
keeping
windows
open
in
classrooms
that
have
windows
would
greatly
curb
the
transmission
of
the
virus.
A
study
by
yale
university
details
that,
within
those
opening
classrooms,
there's
a
nearly
15
percent
old
decrease
in
transmission
of
the
virus.
Y
Recently
aacps
received
tens
of
millions
of
dollars
in
esser
funds.
Responsible
use
of
these
funds
would
be
to
purchase
hepa
filters
for
those
unaware
of
what
hepa
filters
are
they're.
Basically,
particulate
filters
are
99.797
percent
effective
and
removing
particulates
from
the
air.
In
a
study
by
stanford
hepa
filters
response
responsible
for
a
65
percent
drop
in
kevin
19
transmission.
Another
method
is
essential
in
describing
the
spread
of
cover.
19
is
a
robust
contact,
tracing
and
surveillance
system,
while
the
transmission
of
the
virus
is
inevitable.
Y
Regardless
of
these
robust
trends,
robust
mitigation
methods
are
in
place.
These
methods
would
curb
the
spread
of
potential
outbreaks
in
our
schools.
A
study
by
stanford
school
also
supports
us,
whereas
a
robust
contact
tracing
program
for
reduced
transmission
by
over
50
percent
science
does
not
care
about
your
feelings.
Mass
work
and
around
50
to
70
percent
reduces
transmission
of
the
virus
by
50
to
70
saved
by
a
study
by
the
american
medical
association.
Y
Please
note
these
are
real
studies
that
are
peer
reviewed,
that's
something
I
found
on
facebook
or
saw
on
fox
news.
To
summarize,
please
mask
up
for
young
students
who
are
unable
to
get
vaccinated,
offering
expanded
virtual
options
for
those
who
so
desire,
implement
a
cohort
for
lunches
in
middle
and
high
schools,
where
there
are
usually
over
a
thousand
students
in
the
cafeteria
at
one
moment,
without
the
affirmation,
prevention
methods,
it
is
common
sense
that
schools
will
open,
shut
down,
will
just
be
a
never-ending
cycle.
A
Z
Hi,
can
you
hear
me
okay,
yes,
hi
good
good
afternoon,
I
should
say
I'm
a
upcoming
seventh.
A
Z
Fifth,
grader
and
third
grader,
and
I'm
just
going
to
continue
where
I
left
off
from
last
meeting
I
am
again,
I'm
covet
is
not
going
anywhere.
We
were
at
zero
case
race,
I'm
a
nurse
at
the
hospital
we
were
at
zero
in
june.
We
were
now
at
about
35
the
last
time
I
looked
the
other
day.
They
were
mostly
unvaccinated
patients,
so
I
hope
you
go
and
get
your
vaccine
in
regards
to
reopening.
We
really
need
again
have
a
clear
communication
plan.
Z
I
agree
with
some
of
some
of
the
people
who,
who
are
not
that
I
don't
want
my
children
to
be
unmasked,
but
there
should
be
clear
points
to
the
what
we're
looking
at
what
numbers
we're
looking
at
when
we're
reevaluating
those
numbers.
Is
it
every
month?
Is
it
what
what
are?
What
are
those
statistics
that
we're
looking
at?
So
we
have
a
clear
picture,
so
that's
communicated
that's
what
I
heard
last
name.
The
anger
is
for
because
people
are
feel
unheard.
Z
You
you
have
people
that
kids
that
didn't
receive
services
for
15
months
for
speech.
What
are
we
doing
to
help
them?
Tutoring
is
great
and
you
can
have
a
robust
tutoring
program,
but
if
you're
not
meeting
the
basic
needs
of
these
students,
tutoring
doesn't
mean
anything
to
these
parents.
They
feel
like
they're
unheard.
That's
why
they're
angry!
So
how
are
we
mitigating
those
some
better
strategies
to
meet
those
basic
needs
of
our
children
so
that
they
can
work
on
their
speech
and
and
get
that
that
learning
that
they
do
need?
Z
Are
we
looking
at
individual
hepa
filter
systems
in
the
classrooms
that
don't
have
windows
that
have
you
can
have
look
at
your
ventilation
systems
and
meet
standards,
but
that's
the
minimal
standards.
What
are
we
doing
to
make
things
more
robust,
so
our
teachers
feel
safer?
What
are
we
doing
to
transition
our
students
who
have
been
at
home
or
who
have
a
third
of
their
learning
from
last
year?
How
are
we
making
that
better?
How
are
we
making
the
learning
more
robust
again?
Z
Tutoring
is
a
great
option,
but,
let's,
let's
think
bigger
than
that-
let's
meet
our
the
minimal
standards
of
things
and
make
that
better.
Let's
make
our
filtration
systems
better
in
our
schools.
Let's
add
water
fountains,
for
so
our
students
are
having
to
drink
out
of
a
dirty
water
fund.
Let's
bring
those
basic
services
to
the
classroom.
AA
So
I
thought
about
how
best
to
use
these
two
minutes,
and
so
today
I
want
to
speak
directly
to
the
teachers
and
administrators
in
our
school
buildings.
We
see
you
and
we
appreciate
you
more
than
you
will
ever
know.
We
know
you
are
the
ones
being
given
vague
guidance
at
times
and
you're
having
to
implement
that
guidance
in
a
meaningful
and
safe
way.
We
know
you
are
the
ones
being
told
to
cram
30
plus
kids
into
a
classroom
while
also
being
told
to
keep
those
kids
safe.
AA
We
know
you're
the
ones
watching
parents
and
board
of
education
members
refuse
to
wear
masks,
knowing
you'll
be
expected
to
make
their
kids
where
to
wear
a
mask
in
your
classroom,
and
we
can
only
hope
every
student
who
enters
your
classroom
has
enough
respect
for
you
and
their
peers
to
do
what
is
asked.
We
know
that
what's
been
asked
of,
you
is
near
impossible
and
we
know
it
is
only
because
of
how
much
you
care
about
our
kids
that
we're
even
considering
sending
our
kids
into
school
buildings.
AA
It's
because
we
know
there
are
administrators
like
miss
mckay
and
miss
edwards
at
nantucket,
who
are
spending
time
measuring
cafeteria
tables,
carefully
placing
stickers
to
indicate
where
kids
can
sit
while
fielding
dozens
of
phone
calls
and
emails
and
responding
personally
to
every
single
one.
It's
because
of
administrators,
like
mr
cooper
at
crofton
middle,
who
took
the
time
to
carefully
explain
to
my
sixth
grade
son,
exactly
how
the
school
is
laid
out
and
to
share
some
of
the
tricks
that
have
helped
him
to
not
get
lost.
AA
AB
Hello,
my
name
is
sammy
schrickel
and
I
am
a
tac
member
and
a
pre-k
teacher,
which
means
my
class
of
up
to
20
four
and
five-year-old
students
will
be
entirely
unvaccinated.
Many
also
require
support
to
tie
their
shoes,
write
their
name
and
put
on
their
jacket,
making
social
distancing
between
students
and
teachers
unrealistic.
AB
According
to
the
maryland
state
department
of
health,
there
have
been
almost
five
hundred
thousand
cases
of
coven
19
and
almost
10
000
deaths
in
our
state.
Since
the
beginning
of
the
pandemic,
the
anne
arundel
county
department
of
health
has
reported
78
new
cases
in
the
last
24
hours,
a
number
that
has
been
on
the
upward
trend
since
the
beginning
of
july.
AB
The
maryland
department
of
health
has
already
recorded
outbreaks
in
34
schools
this
year
and
we
can
look
to
states
like
texas
and
florida
to
see
what
happens
when
covid19
is
not
taken
seriously.
When
you
drive
a
car,
you
wear
a
seatbelt.
When
you
ride
a
bike,
you
wear
a
helmet
when
you
cross
the
street.
You
look
both
ways.
We
learn
this
in
pre-k.
Whenever
there
is
potential
danger,
we
do
what
we
can
to
mitigate
negative
consequences.
AB
So
when
there's
a
pandemic
that
is
killing
thousands
of
people
nationwide
every
day,
you
wear
a
mask.
You
practice
social
distancing
when
possible,
and
you
get
the
vaccine.
Kova
19
goes
beyond
personal
choice
and
forces
us
to
think
about
what
is
best
for
everyone.
Safety
for
all
is
not
the
choice
of
one.
I
urge
you
to
uphold
the
current
mass
mandate
and
consider
a
vaccination
mandate
for
all
staff
of
anne
arundel
county
public
schools
for
the
safety
of
our
students,
educators
and
their
families.
Thank
you.
AC
Hi,
can
you
hear
me
okay,
great
I'm
here
today,
because
I'm
firmly
against
you
dictating
how
to
parent
my
children,
I'm
firmly
against
my
child
wearing
a
mask
in
school.
You
do
not
have
my
permission
to
instill
instill
fear
in
my
child
by
forcing
him
and
others
to
wear
masks.
You
cannot
believe
that
this
is
truly
the
right
answer.
You
are
just
teaching
them
that
the
air
around
them
is
toxic,
that
everyone
around
them
is
dangerous
and
contagious.
AC
Is
this
how
you
want
this
generation
to
grow
up
to
fear
life
itself?
You
are
not
following
the
science
for
children.
We
have
learned
that
children
are
not
even
spreaders
of
this
by
virus.
So
why
are
we
still
punishing
children?
The
very
fact
that
you
say
a
prayer
before
your
meetings
bleeds
the
pure
hypocrisy
of
this
mandate.
You
must
know
that
god
created
our
bodies
to
defend
themselves.
It's
called
an
immune
system.
AC
Our
bodies
came
equipped
with
this
immune
system
built
to
grow
stronger
through
exposure,
and
we
have
learned
that
natural
immunity
is
more
effective
and
longer
lasting.
Contrary
to
the
vaccine,
which
the
rate
of
how
long
it
lasts,
keeps
dropping.
As
of
right
now,
the
effectiveness
of
the
vaccine
is
down
to
five
months
before
a
booster
is
needed.
Additionally,
the
vaccine
does
not
stop
the
virus
from
even
being
transmitted.
Therefore,
herd
immunity
will
not
happen,
trust
your
immune
system
to
learn
and
do
its
job.
That's
why?
AC
God
created
our
bodies,
the
way
that
he
did
instead
of
instilling
fear.
Why
not
teach
our
children
how
to
eat
a
healthy
diet,
how
to
support
a
healthy
immune
system,
outdoor
exploration
and
exposure
to
the
sun
exercise
setting
up
a
healthy,
daily,
routine
problem,
solving
skills,
social
skills?
You
are
elected
officials
and
not
medical
professionals.
So
please
stop
acting
like
your
doctors,
making
medical
decisions
it's
time
to
turn
down
the
mask
mandate.
When
will
this
charade
end?
And
what
really
is
the
end
result
here?
AC
B
A
Next,
speaker
is
speaking
on
item
6.03
policy
revision.
Third
reading
homeschooling
code,
ifq,
melissa,
idleman,.
AD
Yes,
okay,
it
has
been
brought
to
my
attention
that
understanding
home
school
policy
has
been
difficult
and
not
very
transparent
when
trying
to
gather
information.
This
was
something
I
pointed
out
in
my
last
testimony
as
a
huge
disconnect
with
your
parent
and
student
stakeholders
of
anne
arundel
county
public
schools.
AD
The
pandemic,
which
is
real
and
I
understand,
has
been
difficult-
does
have
a
silver
silver
lining.
In
my
eyes
it
has
shed
light
and
opened
the
eyes
of
many
parents
on
things
still
being
difficult
for
us
to
understand
fully,
as
well
as
a
huge
over
step
of
hip-topical
hypocritical,
I'm
sorry,
policies
that
have
dictated
our
lives
and
our
children's
lives
so
get
that.
But
to
get
back
to
the
homeschool
issue,
I
like
to
talk
about
what
stuck
out
to
me.
AD
The
most
I
see
that
us
parents
who
choose
to
home
school
must
be
held
accountable
to
you.
You
are
the
ones
that
determine
if
we
are
doing
our
jobs
and
fit
to
continue
to
do
so.
So
my
question
now
is:
when
do
we
get
to
hold
you
accountable
for
your
jobs,
in
particular
I'd
like
to
address
how
you
took
our
rights
away
from
us
today
and
how
you
found
a
way
in
doing
so?
You
claim
there
was
a
security
issue
at
this
last
meeting.
Therefore,
no
one
could
come
in
and
do
in-person
public
testimony.
AD
The
public
has
also
been
denied
access
to
sit
in
and
attend
today's
in-person
meeting.
I
am
confused
and
have
questions
about
the
events
that
occurred
at
the
last
meeting.
As
I
was
there,
my
understanding
the
events
is
that
the
only
time
tension
would
have
been
considered
a
little
high
was
when
two
or
three
individuals
made
it.
So
two
of
these
individuals
were
behind
a
screen
doing
virtual
testimony.
AD
They
verbally
attacked
boe
members
for
their
choices.
The
other
individual
was
one
of
your
very
own,
boa
members
verbally
attacking
the
crowd,
throwing
a
fit
like
a
two-year-old.
There
was
not
one
moment.
I
personally
felt
scared.
They
were
just
spoken
words.
In
fact,
I
lived
a
life
where
I
have
been
in
some
dangerous
situations.
AD
I
was
not
able
to
come
up
with
some
emergency
security
issue
to
stop
certain
people
from
doing
their
jobs
living
their
lives,
making
their
money
or
just
trying
to
be
parents,
expecting
decisions
for
their
kids
best
interests.
So
my
last
question
is:
why
does
the
boa
have
this
much
power
over
our
children
and
our
parental
rights?
A
And
finally,
we
have
tina
belford
speaking
on
award
of
contracts.
Q
So
I'm
speaking
on
the
agenda
item
number
70
award
of
contracts.
I
contacted
mary,
jo
child
she's,
the
supervisor
of
purchasing
with
questions
regarding
the
contracts
on
the
agenda.
She
gave
a
timely
response
and
I
trust
her
judgment
and
expertise
when
it
comes
to
these
matters.
Q
Our
access
teachers
have
the
option
to
pay
just
over
31
bi-weekly
to
become
a
member
of
all
free
affiliates
members
are
rewarded
with
discounts
on
various
services.
They
get
discounted
rates
on
aflac
life
insurance,
even
the
teachers,
health
insurance
policies
are
negotiated
by
our
local
affiliate
tech.
Q
It
would
only
be
fair
to
offer
our
agency
teachers
the
same
options
right,
but
there
are
teachers,
staff
and
agency
alike,
fearful
of
retaliation
if
they
are
not
in
lockstep,
with
the
agendas
of
these
members,
only
associations,
agendas
and
narratives
that
are
clear
as
day
when
you
browse
their
websites.
There
are
teachers
that
don't
want
their
students
in
masks
all
day,
simply
for
the
optics
of
opening
school
safely,
but
they're
hesitant
to
speak
up.
Q
There
are
teachers
that
realize
that
the
number
of
coveted
cases
is
not
as
meaningful
as
of
a
statistic
as
the
number
of
severe
illness
and
hospitalizations,
which
is
actually
far
less
but
they're
worried
about
losing
their
job.
If
they
call
attention
to
this,
are
our
teachers,
public,
personal
and
professional
decisions
influenced
by
members
only
benefits
from
unions
and
financial
coercion
in
the
form
of
government
funding
by
the
same
notion
is
our.
A
C
C
A
All
right
we're
back
item
4.01
president's
update.
I
have
none
today,
item
4.02
policy
committee
update
dr
tobin.
Yes,.
F
F
The
committee
reviewed
the
proposed
schedule
for
policy
reviews
for
the
upcoming
school
year
committee
members,
then
reviewed
policy,
bbe
board
committees
and,
after
further
discussion,
voted
to
table
additional
discussion
of
the
policy
until
october
until
the
october
meeting,
as
it
was
determined
that
further
work
was
needed
to
refine
the
language.
The
committee
then
reviewed
and
discussed
the
draft
of
policy
jr
administration
of
medical
cannabis,
a
new
policy
required
by
state
law.
The
committee
voted
unanimously
to
pass
the
policy
to
the
full
board
for
review
and
vote.
F
A
D
I
think
you
have
nothing
to
speak
for
myself,
yeah.
Thank
you,
so
the
budget
committee
has
not
met
since
the
last
meeting,
so
I
don't
have
an
update,
but
I
look
forward
to
an
item
further
down
on
the
agenda
which
has
dovetailing
interest
to
the
budget
committee.
Thank
you.
AF
A
Thank
you.
So
I'm
sorry,
chair
of
our
equity
committee,
section
5
presentations,
item
5.01,
superintendents,
recommended
fiscal
year,
2023
capital
budget
and
six-year
capital
budget
improvement
plan.
Dr
arlatto.
AH
Good
afternoon,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
the
board,
my
name,
is
alex
shaknovich,
I'm
the
chief
operating
officer
for
the
school
district.
AH
It
is
listed
as
an
information
only
item
today,
so
we're
just
going
to
make
some
brief
introductions,
as
the
board
knows
that
the
budgetary
cycle
for
the
capital
budget
does
not
exactly
align
with
the
operating
budget
cycle,
there's
a
requirement
that
we
submit
our
capital
budget
to
the
state
by
a
date
in
october
this
year,
it's
october
the
4th.
So
that's
why
we're
operating
on
this
sort
of
accelerated
timeline?
AH
The
board
is
going
to
hold
a
workshop
on
the
evening
of
thursday
september
9th
at
6
o'clock,
where
we
will
have
the
opportunity
to
go
line
by
line
through
the
capital
budget,
as
many
of
you
are
familiar,
miss
crawford
and
the
stephen
crawford
and
her
team
will
have
a
slide
deck
and
we'll
go
through
each
specific
project
and
have
an
opportunity
to
discuss
the
details.
The
funding,
the
completion
dates
behind
all
of
the
things
before
you.
AH
The
goal,
then,
is
after
the
workshop
is
to
return
the
the
capital
budget
back
before
this
board
at
its
next
regularly
scheduled
full
meeting,
which
will
be
on
september,
the
22nd,
at
which
time
the
board
will
have
the
opportunities
to
consider
the
capital
budget,
provide
any
amendments
they
so
wish
and
vote
on
it
formally
to
I'll
provide
ms
seaman
crawford
and
her
team.
The
authority
required
to
remit
it
to
the
state
by
that
october.
AH
Fourth,
deadline:
the
documents
behind
you
again
we're
just
providing
that
to
you
today,
as
a
matter
of
background,
feel
free
to
look
at
overheading
into
our
workshop.
But
the
details
behind
are
going
to
be
in
the
workshop.
You
will
see
that
we
are
going
to
be
asking
for
approximately
193
million
dollars.
The
way
that
the
document
essentially
works
at
fy23
priority
order
is
a
reference
material.
AH
Unlike
the
operating
budget,
capital
budgets
are
adopted
on
a
line
item
appropriated
basis,
so
we
will
have-
and
that's
the
purpose
of
going
discreetly
through
each
line
next
next
thursday,
when
we
meet
so
that
the
board
is
fully
apprised
of
the
details
behind
that
and
again
here
in
maryland,
we
are
fortunate
that
capital
budgets
are
supported
not
only
but
by
the
local
county
governments
but
by
the
state
governments
and
the
exhibit
before
you,
but,
more
importantly,
the
slides
that
we
will
work
our
way
through
next
thursday.
AH
We'll
give
you
the
details
behind
that
running,
split
or
the
cost
share
between
the
the
state
and
the
county,
and
that
brief
overview.
Madam
president,
we'll
turn
it
back
to
you
and
your
colleagues.
A
Thank
you
very
much.
I
see
dr
tobin,
you
have
a
question
or
remark.
F
So
obviously,
we'll
be
asking
specifics
at
the
workshop.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
this
overview
and
just
on
a
side
note,
we
are
at
the
happy
time
of
ribbon
cutting
and
simon
crawford,
mr
shaknovich,
and
to
all
your
team,
congratulations.
F
D
I
echo
everything
dr
tobin
just
said.
I
just
had
one
quick
question.
I
know
we'll
go
into
it
more
at
the
at
the
at
the
workshop,
but
can
you
just
briefly
describe
what
is
included
in
health
and
safety
since
it
came
up
during
public
testimony
and
might
be
pertinent
to
the
beginning
of
school
year?
Thank
you.
AH
Sure
so
school
buildings
are
subject
to
numerous
codes
and
regulatory
provisions
in
the
arena
of
health
and
safety.
I'll
give
you
some
classic
examples:
michelle
heim
things
like
fire
alarms
or
public
address
systems,
sprinkler
systems,
water
quality.
You
know
environmental,
water
quality
requirements
fall
under
that,
as
this
are
traditional
examples
of
things
that
we
do
in
the
the
health
and
safety
category
so
they're,
largely
in
response
to
code
driven
items
either
in
the
fire
codes
and
the
life
safety
codes
in
the
state's
environmental
codes,
etc.
AE
Thank
you,
president
else.
I
would
just
like
to
echo
what
mr
dr
tobin
had
said.
We've
had
the
wonderful
opportunity
to
go
to
some
of
the
ribbon
cutting
ceremonies,
crofton
high
school
tyler
heights,
george
cromwell,
I
think
tomorrow's
richard
henry
lee
and
another.
AE
It
is
absolutely
amazing,
of
course,
people
that
know
me
know
that
I
always
say
that
the
brick
and
mortar
does
not
make
the
building,
but
it
sure
does
help,
and
it's
just
amazing
the
buildings
that
we
have
seen
and
dr
aladda
and
alex
and
staff
our
hats
off
to
you
unbelievable
marvelous
job,
and
we
want
to
have
a
positive
opening
and
what
we're
hearing
when
we're
out
there
is
excitement
about
a
new
school
year,
and
so
we
want
to
thank
you
for
that.
Thank
you.
V
Thank
you,
president
ellis,
so
I
just
wanted
just
to
take
the
quick
second,
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
good
news
these
days
and
educate
in
and
around
education,
but
in
addition
to
the
first
day
of
school
back
is
certainly
the
hard
work
that
has
been
going
on
behind
the
scenes
and
I
think
it's
even
more
behind
the
scenes
because
of
the
crazy
year
we've
had
so
while
our
doors
have
been
open
and
our
schools
have
been
operating,
they
haven't
had
the
recognition
we
haven't
had
the
opportunity
to
recognize
everyone,
who's
worked
so
hard,
and
so,
as
I
look
forward
to
more
later
on
this
week
in
the
way
of
ribbon
cutting,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
the
community
understands
how
hard
it
is
that
everybody
worked
in
a
and
a
shout
out
to
to
our
principals
and
our
hosts.
V
These
students
come
to
these
events
and
give
us
a
hand
in
commemorating
it
all
the
way
down
to
the
ribbon
cutting,
and
they
are
extra
shout
out
for
them
too,
because
they're.
The
reason
why
I
know
you
guys
work
so
hard
because
it's
in
your
heart,
so
thank
you
and
please
extend
that
to
jacobs
and
all
the
others.
I
mean,
there's
a
whole
nice
laundry
list
of
my
personal
appreciation.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
And
agreed,
thank
you
for
all
the
hard
work
you're
doing
for
our
our
students
and
staff
and
congratulations
to
all
of
our
communities
who
are
enjoying
beautiful,
new
schools
this
year
and
last.
We
have
some
spillover
from
not
being
able
to
celebrate
these
things
last
year,
but
yeah.
Thank
you
very
much.
I
was
so
very
disappointed.
I'd
been
looking
forward
to
the
crofton
ribbon
cutting
all
year,
but
it
just
did
not
align
with
my
schedule,
but
but
thank
you
so
much.
A
Began
discussions
in
the
budget
committee
back
when
back
when,
goodness,
I
think,
when
some
of
us
were
elected
over
a
couple
years
ago
in
the
budget
committee,
we
began
discussing
this
and
now
we're
bringing
it
rolling
it
out.
So
I'm
gonna
turn
it
over
to
our
budget
committee.
Chair,
miss
schallheim
to
to
open
up.
D
Thank
you.
So,
yes,
this
has
been
sort
of
a
long
time
in
coming
and
and
sort
of
our
first
inroad
into
what
I
know
all
of
us
hope
is
just
more
collaboration
in
in
general,
the
bouncing
of
ideas.
Before
we
get
into
the
400
page
book
we
see
every
december
and
the
the
process
that
goes
after
that,
and
so,
as
budget
committee
chair,
I
asked
each
member
to
kindly
lay
out
for
me
briefly
what
their
individual
budget
priorities
are
and
we
compiled
a
list.
D
Every
member
has
it
before
them.
We
also
discussed
it
during
the
last
budget
committee
meeting.
I
just
want
to
start
the
start.
The
discussion
off-
and
this
is
an
information
item,
though
it
doesn't
preclude
anyone
from
promotioning,
of
course,
but
the
goal
in
this
is
to
give
hopefully
dr
alato
a
sense
of
maybe
where
we're
at
with
some
major
items
as
he
works
to
build
his
budget
in
the
upcoming
months,
and
so
hopefully,
I'm
not
the
only
one.
Speaking
for
this.
D
For
for
me,
some
of
the
items
have
already
you
know
been
touched
on
touched
on
by
by
people
who
give
have
given
public.
Testimony
recently
touched
on
every
budget
year,
and
that
includes
you
know
the
need
for
for
more
mental
health
staff,
the
need
for
special
education
teachers,
the
need
for
teachers
for
reduced
class
sizes,
etc,
and
so
those
would
be
at
the
top
of
my
list,
though
there
are
many
others,
and
hopefully
we
can
have
a
discussion
about
this.
Thank
you.
A
AE
Well,
I'm
on
the
budget
committee,
and
so
thank
you,
miss
shawheim
for
all
of
the
work
that
went
into
this.
I
have
my
own
priorities
about
what
I
think
this
should
be.
One
of
them
happens
to
be
the
mental
health
of
our
staff.
AE
V
Yeah,
thank
you,
president
alice,
and
thank
you,
chairperson,
scholheim.
I
said
on
the
budget
committee
as
well,
and
I
think
this
is
an
important
step
of
how
we
can
better
think
better
about
how
we
interact
with
our
families
and
ourselves
and
our
staff
in
formulating.
V
If
you
recall-
and
that
is
something
that
the
board
does
and
our
priorities
in
general-
and
this
is
a
reflection
of
that.
So
I
think
this
may
be
the
test
pilot
year,
but
and
we're
going
to
learn
a
lot,
but
I
think
it's
going
to
open
up
further
opportunities
of
transparency
and
interactive
dialogue
early
enough
in
the
process
that
that
say
can
have
more
substantive
meaning.
Thank
you.
AF
So
I
sent
in
my
budget
priorities,
arguably
very
late-
I'm
not
really
sure
why,
because
I've
had
so
many
conversations
with
vice
president
scholheim
about
what
I'd
like
on
the
budget
and
I'm
excited
to
see
how
this
budget
season
goes.
I
was
told
with
my
predecessor
that
if
I
thought
summer
was
difficult
that
I
have
no
idea
what
I'm
in
for
so
you
know
with
that
in
mind.
AF
Very
I'm
very
excited
to
see
what
that
looks
like
as
one
of
few
smobs
most
of
my
fellow
mobs
around
the
state
don't
get
to
serve
on
budget
at
all,
so
I'm
very
excited
to
have
that
opportunity
and
exercise
it
and
also
encourage
students
to
usually
feel
as
though
they
have
no
say
in
the
budget.
They
have
no
business
even
looking
into
it
listening
in
like
their
parents
or
guardians.
AF
Well,
I
would
I
would
encourage
them
to
because
the
budget
most
ardently
affects
them,
and
many
of
the
things
that
I
proposed
are
things
that
I've
heard
from
students
that
I,
as
a
student,
would
like
to
see
in
our
schools.
So
I'm
very
excited
to
see
what
that
process
will
look
like
and
to
hopefully
have
some
of
these
things.
At
least
a
couple
of
them
be
successfully
passed
on
into
our
budget.
F
Thank
you
and
thank
you,
chairwoman,
shawnheim
for
doing
this.
I
think
this
is
a
a
very
valuable
part
of
this
process
that,
as
has
already
been
noted,
offers
a
number
of
opportunities,
not
the
least
of
which
to
engage
the
public
ahead
of
time.
We
have
town
halls
in
january,
as
with
many
things,
a
lot
of
people
aren't
as
much
as
we
publicize
them,
and
we
do
it's
still
hard
to
get
people
to
really
focus
on
it,
and
so
I
hope
this
will
set
up
some
more
engagement.
F
That
way,
like
all
of
my
colleagues,
there
are
things
here
that
I
firmly
support
things.
I
don't
support
as
strongly.
That's
why
it's
good
to
have
a
board.
We
all
have
to
talk
about
this
and
come
to
some
discernment.
F
I
would
also
say
I've
said
this
on
this
board.
I've
said
this
on
other
boards,
on
which
I've,
which
I've
been
a
part
which
is
a
budget,
is
a
statement
of
values,
and
so
it's
it
is
one
of
the
most
critical
things
we
have
to
do
not
just
piecemeal
but
holistically.
To
understand
that
that
you
know
what
the
decisions
we
are
making
say
about.
Our
leadership
and
where
we
see
this
system
going
so
I'm
I'm
very
appreciative
of
this
process.
F
That
is
something
that
I
very
specifically
worked
with
ms
antwine
on,
and
I
know
ms
frank
and
I
share
many
of
these
interests,
and
so
I
I
want
to
see
that
move
forward
and
I
believe
it
was
just
yesterday
that
our
county
executive
instituted
the
next
iteration
of
the
committee
to
close
the
opportunity
gap
and
made
some
very
specific
commitments
about
kindergarten
readiness,
and
so
I
see
all
of
these
things
as
aligned,
and
so
I
I
want
to
say
again.
F
I
share
the
the
the
key
focus
on
this
mental
health,
support
for
students
and
staff
and
faculty
the
need
to
reduce
class
size
and
and
as
ms
omasari
and
I
have
shared
too
there's
a
critical
need
for
activity
buses
for
all
high
and
middle
school
students.
Every
student
should
have
equal
access
to
those
opportunities
after
school.
A
Thank
you
all
for
your
remarks
so
again.
This
is.
This
is
new
for
the
board.
This
is
our
way
to
collaborate
with
our
superintendent
so
that
we
can
make
our
priorities
known
as
best
as
best
we
can,
as
dr
alato
works
with
his
staff,
to
to
develop
his
recommendation
for
our
budget
for
the
upcoming
year.
A
A
You
know
unless,
unless
we're
looking
to
bring
this
back
to
the
agenda,
if
people
want
to
digest
this
a
little
further,
this
right
here
and
now
is
our
opportunity
to
to
really
weigh
in
so
I
will
so
thank
you
first
of
all
budget
committee,
ms
schalheim,
for
for
collecting
the
input,
but
now
that
now
that
we
have
it,
I
think
we
need
to
start
speaking
to
it
so
mental
health
staff,
social
work,
psychologist
counselors.
A
That
is
something
that
the
board
has
spoken
out
loud
about
over
the
past
several
years,
and
it
currently
seems
to
be
a
priority
for
for
the
board.
I
think
I
I
think
it's
pretty
safe
to
say
that
there's
full
support
in
that
area,
teachers
to
reduce
class
size,
that's
something
that
is
important
to
our
community
and
again
we
have
spoken
on.
A
A
I
think
this
is
something
that
I
am
hopeful,
as
we
are
moving
toward
creating
healthy
hours
for
all,
students
that
that's
going
to
make
activity
is
more
doable
because
high
schools
will
be
will
not
be.
We
will
not
need
to
go
picking
up
all
of
the
elementary
school
students
after
high
school.
The
way
we
do
now
cuts
in
central
office
spending.
A
So
this
is
this
is
the
part
where
we
look
at
our
budget,
and
we
say
we
are
developing
our
priorities
and
we're
making
choices
and
so
yeah
we
could
develop
a
wish
list
say
here
you
go
dr
aletto.
This
is
this
is
what
we
wish
for
making
please
make
it
happen
it's
about
choices,
so
I
I
could
go.
I
could
go
on
and
on,
but
I
just
wanted
to
get
a
sense
from
board
members.
I
mean
what
what
budget
committee
chair?
Do
you
have
a
recommendation?
A
Would
you
like
would
without
perhaps
asking
board
members?
Maybe
if
you
are
comfortable
giving
us
your
top
three
priorities
and
see
where
we
land
and
see
if
we
have
some
sort
of
general,
I
don't
know
I'm
just
kind
of.
V
As
far
as
like
the
you
know,
the
hard
you
know
the
hard
call
action,
but
certainly
I
think
it
would
be
safe
that
to
say
that
the
ones
that
have
the
most
had,
the
most
you
know
overlap,
would
be
the
obvious
ones
rising
to
the
level
and
as
we
go
through
it,
I'm
sure
we
could
make
an
adjustment
to
do
that.
F
F
That's
always
a
critical
starting
point
and
the
other
piece,
as
you
alluded
to
president
alice,
is
that
there
are
a
lot
of
pieces
of
the
puzzle
that
then
start
falling
into
place
with
regard
to
you
know
what
what
it's
going
to
look
like,
and
so
I
mean
the
point
as
I
understand
it,
of
priorities
is
to
give
dr
alato
and
his
staff
some
direction
of
you
know
faced
with
this
choice,
we
would
prefer
choosing
here,
but
you
know
that
it's
a
process
to
get
to
that
right
because
it's
one
thing
to
say
this
is
what
I
like
it's
another
to
say.
F
This
is
what
I'm
prepared
to
give
up
for
that.
So
you
know,
I
guess,
if,
if
it
would
be
appropriate,
that's
either
now
or
at
some
juncture
for
the
budget
committee
to
present
the
full
board.
With
an
indication
of
where
the
committee
has
come
in
recommend
in
top
recommendations
and
then
we
can
move
forward
from
that.
Does
that
make
sense
to
others.
D
It
does
it
does
so.
This
was
this.
Was
the
the
proper
jumping
off
point
that
we
needed
to
happen?
We
needed
to
start
somewhere-
and
this
is
a
this-
is
a
great
great
start
and
you
all
every
single
one
of
you
submitted
items
to
to
to
us
that
were
discussed
at
budget
committee
and
I'm
really
grateful
for
everyone's
input.
D
Here's
what
I'm
going
to
to
suggest,
and
also
for
the
benefit
of
the
public,
to
have
to
have
some
understanding
as
to
more
of
these
items,
despite
the
fact
that
budget
committee
is
indeed
open
to
the
public,
so
you
could
have
seen
the
fullness.
There,
too,
is
that
we
let
this
list
marinate,
knowing
that
the
first
seven
items
on
this
list
gained
the
most
traction
amongst
all
members.
D
Dr
leto
has
received
a
copy
as
well
that
was
provided
to
him
and
and-
and
what
I
would
suggest
is
if
we're
going
to
present
a
a
recommendation
with
or
without
a
a
vote
to.
D
To
maybe
initial
the
this
this
list
with
your
top
three
we'll
talk
about
it,
one
more
time
in
budget
committee,
which
is
the
day
before
the
next
meeting
and
hopefully
get
this
on
the
agenda
for
the
next
meeting
to
be
more
formal
about
it.
This
was
intended
as
a
as
a
information
as
a
discussion,
so
I
like
keeping
it
there,
especially
for
the
sake
of
the
the
public,
some
people
weighed
in
with
their
their
budget
priorities
during
public
testimony
and
then
and
bring
it
back
so
use
this
list.
Y'all.
D
D
Indeed,
that's
a
great
point
so
to
that
to
that
point,
each
and
every
one
of
us
meet
with
dr
alato
every
month.
He
and
I'm
not
trying
to
speak
for
him,
but
I'm
gonna
try.
He
asks
for
all
of
our
priorities,
our
individual
priorities
every
year
us
saying
our
top
three
might
be.
You
know
mental
health
staff
teachers
to
reduce
class
sizes
and
activity
buses
as
an
example.
It
could
be
that
does
not
preclude
an
individual
member
for
saying,
hey,
you
know
to
me.
D
This
is
also
important
and-
and
it's
my
hope,
that
this
is
also
woven
into
the
budget
in
some
way.
We
all-
we
all
must
do
that,
as
as
representatives
of
our
individual
districts
and
good
stewards
of
of
our
role
and
an
oversight
governance
anyway.
So
but
this
would
just
be
a
more
as
a
board-
hey
we're
all
behind
all
these.
So
then
we
don't
have
to
have
budget
amendments
to
the
to
that
effect
in
february,
which
is
really
good.
D
A
Yes,
thank
you.
Thank
you
again
to
the
budget
committee
for
for
kicking
this
off
and
dr
lotto.
I
hope
you
find
this
helpful
to
just
get
a
greater
sense.
A
What
the
board's
priorities
are,
because
I
know
january
february
becomes
very
difficult
when
we're
trying
to
make
these
things
happen
at
the
end
of
the
cycle,
rather
than
building
it
in
as
best
we
can
to
collaborate
on
those
things.
A
A
So,
moving
on
item
5.03
board
discussion
of
school
reopening
protocols
at
our
last
meeting
we
had
we
had
this
item
on
the
agenda.
There
had
been
some
discussion,
there
had
been
some
motions
and
we
had
left
that
meeting
with
a
motion
on
the
table.
That
was
then
amended
to
hold
it
until
the
september
first
meeting,
and
so
that's
why
this
item
has
ended
up
back
on
our
agenda.
A
Dr
tobin,
I
see
your
light
on.
Okay
just
wanted
to
make
sure
okay,
so
the
maker
of
that
motion
was
miss
frank,
so
I'm
going
to
put
it
back.
Take
it
back
to
you
miss
frank.
K
In
light
of
the
recent
motion
by
the
state
board,
I
would
like
to
withdraw
this
motion
and
possibly
reintroduce
it
at
another
meeting,
but
for
the
sake
of
this
meeting
I
would
like
to
formally
withdraw
it.
V
Actually,
no
so
I
I'll
second
that
in
the
interest
of
parliamentary
accuracy,
because
now
that
it
has
got
its
cycle.
R
V
A
So,
for
the
benefit
of
anyone
following
along
just
to
make
sure
the
history
is
clear
on
that
and
dr
alata,
you
might
be
able
to
speak
to
it
a
little
more,
but
the
state
board
of
education
recently
took
an
action
to
mandate,
masks
in
schools
throughout
the
state,
and
that
has
that
now
lies
in
the
hands
of
a
committee
with
with
the
state
legislature,
correct.
AG
Yes,
ma'am,
that's
exactly
correct.
The
state
board
took
action
in
a
special
meeting
last
thursday
and
they
had
one
agenda
item
at
that
special
meeting,
and
this
was
it
where
they
proposed
and
passed
through
a
formal
vote,
a
change
in
regulation,
the
law
that
governs
the
schools
to
mandate
masks
in
short
in
all
public
schools,
while
students
and
staff
are
indoors
there's
a
little
more
to
it.
To
that.
AG
It
now
goes
to
a
legislative
review
committee
that
it
is
comprised
of
state
delegates
and
senators
that
will
review
this
and
either
move
it
forward
or
not.
It
has
to
wait
10
days
by
law
before
they
can
begin
their
review,
and
so
I
believe
the
date
set
right
now
is
the
14th
of
september
is
the
14th
of
september.
That
will
be
heard
by
the
state
review
committee.
A
Motion
is
to
withdraw
the
motion:
okay,
you're.
Not
speaking
to
that,
can
I
no
worries
yeah.
I
do
too
yep.
So
if
no
one
else
miss
frank,
sorry.
K
I
do
just
want
to
say
one
of
the
reasons
I'm
withdrawing
this
motion
is
because
the
state
board
has
discussed
reviewing
their
masking
mandate
monthly,
and
I
think
that
it
is
in
the
best
interest
of
this
board
to
be
reactive
to
what
they
say
in
the
future
and
to
not
have
a
settled
motion
at
this
date.
So
I
want
to
be
clear
about
that.
K
A
Okay,
thank
you
for
the
clarification,
so
shall
we
vote
on
the
motion
to
withdraw.
D
Yes,
thank
you.
I
just
have
a
couple
other
questions
about
safety
protocols
because
you
know
masking,
while
very
important
is
but
one
layer
there.
The
all
the
health
officials
have
said
that
a
layered
approach
is
is
best,
and
so
I
just
have
a
couple
of
of
questions
about.
D
Let's
see
here,
let
me
find
it
can
we
talk
a
little
bit
about
especially
well
lunches
at
all
levels,
but
what
extra
steps
and
we've
talked
privately,
but
just
for
the
public
to
to
again
to
hear
this
because
it
keeps
coming
back
and
back
and
back
to
all
of
us,
I'm
sure
about
what
an
individual
school
can
and
can't
do
to
be
creative
to
to
make
sure
that
you
know
the
most
distancing
is
occurring
when
children
are
ms,
especially
those
of
the
unvaccinatable
not
yet
qualified
to
be
vaccinated
population,
which
is
everyone
eleven
and
under
dr
leto.
AG
So,
as
we
have,
we've
discussed
and
I've
put
out
publicly
that
our
principals
will
be
working
with
the
schools
to
assist
them
in
any
way
we
can
so
that
they
can
spread
students
out
to
the
best
of
their
ability.
Every
school
setup
is
a
little
bit
different.
Every
classroom
is
a
little
bit
different.
You're,
absolutely
right.
Masking
is
a
but
one
of
the
layered
approach
that
is
being
recommended,
and
so,
while
distancing
is
important
and
those
conversations
are
being
had
with
the
principals
and
their
staffs
about
what
they
can
do
in
schools.
AG
There
are
no
capacity
limits
indoors,
which
is
we
were
operating
under
both
of
those
restrictions
last
spring
when
we
open
in
the
hybrid
model,
so
we
are
focused
on
bringing
the
students
back,
bring
them
back
as
safely
as
possible,
but
it
in
terms
of
lunch,
specifically
those-
and
you
heard
testimony
about
a
particular
principle.
That's
marking
tables
in
the
cafeteria,
where
students
can
sit
and
not
sit,
and
so
much
of
that
is
dependent
upon
decide.
AG
The
enrollment
in
the
school,
how
many
fifth
grades
they
have
fourth
grades:
they
have
third
grades,
they
have
and
their
ability
to
spread
those
students
out.
So
they
will
we'll
work
with
them
to
assist
them
in
marking
tables
as
necessary,
where
they
can
spread
the
students
out
if
they
have,
if
they
believe
they
have
the
ability
to
monitor
students
eating
outside.
They
certainly
have
that
as
an
option,
but,
of
course
that
takes
staff.
AG
AG
Gym
a
cafetorium!
Yes!
So
yes,
that
that
is
something
that,
if
that
school
has
that
ability
to
where
they
have
that
separating
wall-
and
they
don't
have
something
going
on
on
the
other
side
of
that
wall
during
that
lunch
period,
say
a
pe
class,
where
we
are,
of
course,
encouraging
pe
teachers
to
take
the
students
outside
as
much
as
they
can
given
the
weather.
AG
That
won't
always
be
the
case,
so
if
they
do
have
the
ability
to
open
that
accordion
door
and
move
the
tables,
give
further
distance
among
the
between
the
tables
for
students
to
spread
out.
They
certainly
have
that
as
an
option.
D
Fantastic,
I
do
have
a
few
more
questions
regarding
band
and
chorus
and
singing.
D
I
thought
I
thought
I
caught
a
glimpse
of
something
that
had
changed,
but
I
wanted
to
hear
it
from
from
from
you.
Are
students
going
to
be
massed
in
those
situations,
especially
now
that
we
I
mean
you
are?
We
already
had
the
requirements
before
the
state
acted
and
that
will
have
the
effect
of
law,
but
has
there
been
any
changes
regarding
those
particular
activities.
AG
Yes,
the
guidance
has
changed
with
regard
to
singing,
and
so
the
students
now
will
sing
masked
that
guidance
has
changed
regarding
instruments.
The
students
will
be
allowed
to
play
their
instruments
we
have
purchased
for
the
wind
instruments.
The
bell
covers
that
can
be
placed
on
those
for
an
added
layer
of
safety
and
we've
purchased
for
the
students
split
mass
they
can
keep
their
mass
on,
but
those
playing
a
wind
instrument
will
be
able
to
divide
the
mask
and
still
be
able
to
play
their
instrument.
AG
But,
yes,
the
the
guidance
on
singing
has
changed
and
that
will
those
students
will
need
to
do
that
masked.
D
Fantastic
and
then,
lastly,
if
we
can
say
anything
about
surveillance
testing
and
where
the
funding
is
coming
from
to
pay
for
that,
I
I
also
got
a
a
group
of
emails
about
just
wanting
to
know
more
and
wanting
to
know
the
funding
stream
for
that,
if
you
wouldn't
mind.
AG
Yes,
ma'am
so
we'll
have
hopefully
sooner
rather
than
later,
we'll
have
two
testing
programs
up
and
running
in
the
schools
for
this
school
year.
The
first
testing
program
is
already
up
and
running
and
what
has
been
up
and
running,
and
that
is
not
surveillance
testing,
but
that
is
symptomatic
testing.
So
if
a
student
poses
a
a
shows
symptoms
during
the
school
day,
they
will
be
escorted
to
the
nurse
who
will
call
the
parent
or
guardian.
AG
They
are,
of
course,
department
of
health
nurses
and
we
have
test
kits
available
and
and
stored
in
each
of
the
health
suites
in
all
the
schools.
So
that
is
symptomatic
testing
that
is
available
now.
AG
Warning
so
good
time.

Okay,
great
we're
back
from
recess.
A
The
we
are
all
thinking
of
and
praying
for,
the
safety
of
everyone
in
the
area
from
the
storm,
and
we
are
going
to
wrap
up
this
meeting
as
quickly
as
we
can.
We
were
at
when
we
left
and
went
into
recess.
We
were
on
item
5.03
board
discussion
of
school
reopening
protocols.
A
There
were
some
questions
going
on.
Is
everyone
dr
tobin.
F
A
Okay,
I
do
have
one
quick,
dr
elata,
just
because
I
I
know
next
time
we
meet
school
will
already
have
started
and
there
had
been
a
concern
about
when
kids
are
eating
lunch,
that
they
will
not
need
to
wear
masks.
A
AG
That
is
not
just
like
you
might
do
in
a
restaurant,
you
would
take
your
mask
off
and
eat
and
then,
when
you
are
done,
then
we'll
ask
the
students
to
put
their
masks
back
on,
but.
AG
Not
asking
the
students
to
take
a
bite
of
their
sandwich
and
then
reapply
their
mask
while
they're
chewing
okay,
but
that
will
be
a
that
is
certainly
an
independent
decision
of
the
student
and
possibly
the
encouragement
of
their
parent.
But
no
that's
not
a
requirement.
A
Okay,
thank
you,
dr
mr
missouri.
Do
you
have.
AF
AG
A
strenuous
activity
and
that's
part
of
what
is
written
in
the
in
the
new
regulatory
language
by
the
state
board
of
education.
D
Yeah,
I
just
had
one
follow-up
question
with
regard
to
exemptions.
Just
that'll
go
for
the
the
exemption
process
will
will
be
applicable
to
every
human
in
every
school
and
every
school
facility
right.
Will
there
be
a
standardized
process
for
any
human
in
any
of
our
buildings
or
facilities
to
request
an
exemption.
AG
Humans,
that
are
students,
we
have
a
process
that
I
mentioned,
is
in
place,
and
we
have
a
much
of
this
revolves
around
special
needs.
Students
that
have
an
aversion
to
having
something
touching
their
face,
and
so
even
all
the
medical
professionals
encourage
those
students
to
wear
a
mask,
but
if
they're
unable
to
then
we
have
a
coaching
process
so
that
the
student
can.
AG
That
is
an
adult
process
where
they
would
go
through
our
hr
department
and
they
would
request
an
exemption
same
for
medical
and
they
would
have
to
provide
the
medical
documentation
and
that
process.
So
it's
two
separate
process.
