Paying
tribute
to
the
many
Americans
who
have
served
our
country
in
the
Armed
Forces
students
across
the
county
participated
in
events
to
commemorate
Veterans
Day.
One
great
example
of
how
schools
celebrate
the
holiday
can
be
seen
in
how
fill
top
elementary
school
students
visited
a
local
Knights
of
Columbus
Lodge
to
perform
patriotic
songs
gave.
A
Us
opportunity
for
us
to
number
one
talk
about
what
veterans
do
so
we
had
them,
come
to
the
school
and
read
and
talk
about
what
service
meant
and
then
the
children
wanted
to
sing,
and
then
they
wrote
letters
and
they
wrote
cards
to
all
our
veterans,
thanking
them
for
the
service
and
understanding
what
they
did
to
help
them
and
how
they
want
to
serve.
So
it's
a
fabulous
opportunity,
a.
B
C
D
To
celebrate
the
veterans
that
immersed
their
life
for
us,
and
so
we
can
be
free,
we're
singing,
because
you
want
to
thank
the
veterans
that
risk
their
life
for
us.
We
want
to
thank
what
they
difference.
The
veterans
helped
us
get
to
school
and
they're.
The
only
reason
that
we
have
freedom
today
thank.
B
A
B
E
Influenced
me
tremendously,
I
mean
this
is
where
it
all
started,
obviously,
but
with
really
the
faculty
and
obviously
coach
Dobbs.
Having
belief
in
me
in
my
potential
and
my
talents,
I
mean
I
can't
even
say
for
sure.
If
my
mom
believed
you
know
that
I
would
be
in
the
Olympics
one
day,
but
you
know
Coach
Dobbs,
like
I,
said
earlier
today
and
talking
to
the
faculty
that
in
the
banquet
you
know
the
end
of
the
year
speech.
E
E
Family's
been
there
every
step
of
the
way
they've
seen
me,
grow
up
through
baseball
or
t-ball,
even
basketball,
swimming
soccer,
of
course,
and
then
get
into
track,
and
so
they've
seen.
You
know
all
of
the
hard
work
and
all
the
failures
and
successes
I've
gone
through
just
to
get
to
that
point
in
my
career.
So
I
think
it
was
pretty
special
for
everyone
and
for
me
to
be
able
to
see
it
just
kind
of
validates
that
I
got
a
great
family
he's.
B
F
The
technology
that's
been
donated
to
our
students
is
is
very
meaningful.
It
means
the
world
to
the
program
and
to
the
supporting
their
the
work
they're
doing
in
the
classroom.
We
are
very
fortunate
to
have
such
tremendous
partners
in
the
community
and
DISA,
and
the
rotary
are
just
two
of
those
partners,
but
we,
our
program,
is,
is
really
enhanced
by
the
collaboration
we
have
with
all
of
our
community
partners.
B
Amazing
community
outreach
effort
to
bring
digital
technology
to
more
classrooms,
the
rotary
and
the
US
Defense
Security
Service
Academy,
also
known
as
DISA
recently
equipped
the
school
with
a
modern
digital
classroom
to
help
students
have
the
necessary
technological
skills
to
be
successful
and
in
some
ways
ahead
of
the
curve.
We.
H
Every
single
time
a
student
opens
the
computer.
They
know
that
somebody
took
their
hard-earned
money
and
cared
about
them
and
gave
back
to
the
community
that
they
work
in
and
I
hope.
These
students
realize
that
these
are
people
who
also
have
jobs
in
Homeland
Security
and
their
jobs
are
good
jobs
that
they're
able
to
give
back
to
the
community.
That
is
helping
that's
helping
them
and
that's
important
for
our
students
to
see
that
people
care
about
them
and
they
want
them
to
have
the
best
things
possible.
Thank.
J
It's
very
important
for
kids
to
get
shoes,
because
sometimes
the
parents
may
not
be
able
to
afford
shoes
for
the
students
and
they're
able
to
go
outside
and
run
around
and
go
to
PE
and
their
feet
are
comfortable.
So
that
means
that
they're
comfortable
with
their
shoes-
and
that
means
they're
able
to
learn
in
the
classroom.
We.

Years
ago
we
asked
your
principal
here
at
Hilltop,
miss
day,
hey
sue.
What
are
the
greatest
needs
of
your
kids
and
she
said
you
know
the
kids
really
need
athletic
shoes
and
we
realized
the
importance
of
running
and
playing
and
how
it
stimulates
the
Brawn
of
the
brain
so
that
you
can
submit
you
can
learn.
So
a
group
of
us
about
five
of
us
from
leadership
and
Arundel's
start
adopting
grades,
and
this
is
our
third
year
doing.
It.
J
B
M
Really
important
to
me,
as
an
arts
and
humanities
teacher,
to
not
only
have
the
kids
think
deeply
about
the
world
around
them,
but
also
to
be
very
aware
of
their
connections
and
the
people
that
make
up
their
world
and
that
world
expands.
You
know,
and
so
I
want
them
to
see
that
that
this
is
an
expansion
of
unification
and
I
am
thrilled
that
we're
doing
it
at
Shadyside
through.
