Leading
the
way
to
making
teaching
a
profession
that
is
dedicated
to
student
learning,
while
upholding
high
standards
for
professional
performance,
you
have
raised
the
bar
for
other
teachers
to
follow
in
Anne,
Arundel,
County
and
throughout
the
state.
Your
accomplishment
will
will
help
lead
to
a
stronger
teaching
force
and
higher
student
achievement.

All
had
different
reasons
for
pursuing
certification.
Some
of
us
might
have
thought
it
was
the
next
logical
step
in
our
growth
as
educators,
while
others
may
have
been
attracted
by
the
pay
bump.
The
County
offer
others
of
us
might
have
seen
ourselves
in
a
student
and
known
it
was
the
best
way
to
help,
but
really
at
this
point
right
now,
it
doesn't
matter
it
doesn't
matter
why
you
chose
to
pursue.
What
does
matter
is
that
you
have
achieved,
and
this
moment
should
not
be
seen
as
the
end
of
your
journey
for.
B
Successful

been
named
statewide

The

all
to
proudly
display
the
talents
of
the

and
diligence
of
the

to
maintain

Schools
must
meet
specific
criteria
that
is
evaluated
every
four

For

Northeast
High

recently
celebrated
its
designation
as
a
national

unified
champion
school.
The

is
one
of
three
from

just
five
in

173
across

States

Is
such
an
incredible
honor
to
be
recognized
for
a
job
that
I
love
to
do
every
day
and
to
be
able
to
represent
the
thousands
of
teachers
around
the
state
and
the
countless
students
that
we
have
in
our
Maryland
public
school
system?
Is
such
a
joy
beyond
words
and
I
am
so
excited
and
eager
to
promote
and
represent
our
profession
and
our
students
this
year
in.
J
Think
our
students
need
an
advocate.
They
need
an
advocate,
that's
going
to
go
out
and
speak
on
their
behalf.
What
did
they
need
and
I
have
a
particular
interest
in
focusing
on
the
mental
health
and
well-being
of
our
student
population?
So
that's
a
big
part
of
what
I
plan
to
focus
on
and
give
voice
to
this
year
and
I
also
think
that
our
teachers
around
the
state
deserve
recognition
and
deserve
a
champion,
and
so
I
am
very
excited
to
be
able
to
be
that
champion
and
be
that
voice
for
them.

Opportunities
for
Anne
Arundel
County
with
this
aircraft
are
exciting.
The
development
of
a
course
covering
airframe
and
propulsion
maintenance
will
offer
students
with
a
technical
background,
expanded
options
to
explore
rewarding
careers.
Students
will
now
be
able
to
have
hands-on
experience
with
aircraft
airframe
and
propulsion
maintenance.
Thanks.
B
E
We
want
students
to
excel
in
cutting-edge
careers.
We
need
cutting-edge
partnerships.
This
aircraft,
along
with
the
large
quantity
of
parts
and
equipment
Northrop,
is
donating,
makes
it
possible
for
us
to
launch
the
new
aviation
maintenance
technician
program
at
the
Center
for
Applied
Technology,
north
and
Tipton
Airport.
One.
K
Of
the
things
that
is
particularly
meaningful,
I
think
about
this-
is
that,
because
we
do
this
sort
of
strange
testing
here,
we
have
to
modify
airplanes
extensively,
and
one
of
the
things
that
EMP
mechanics
have
to
learn
to
do
is
become
craftsmen
in
their
trade
they're,
not
just
replacing
parts
they
are.
They
are
designing
and
building
and
creating
parts
that
that
are
needed
for
machines
to
do
what
they
need
to
do
and-
and
that
is
an
important.
We
do
that-
a
lot
here
in
industry.

Welcome
to
the
environmental
literacy
experience
for
all
kinda
gardeners
in
Anne,
Arundel,
County,
Public
Schools
every
kindergarten
class
participates
in
an
outdoor
environmental
program.
Called
trees
are
terrific
at
a
site
in
Anne
Arundel
County,
through
engaging
hands-on
activities.
Students
investigate
the
lifecycle
of
a
tree,
learn
about
forest
ecology,
discover
that
trees,
protect
water
quality
and
take
action
to
help
the
environment.
This
is
part
of
the
kindergarten
interdisciplinary
environmental
literacy
unit
that
includes
a
day
of
learning
at
school,
a
field
experience
and
a
day
of
reflection
and
communication
back
at
school.
They.
P
Are
gonna
bring
their
learning
back
into
the
classroom
and
then
what
I'm
trying
to
teach
them
is.
We
need
to
make
so
much
more
sense,
so
I've
introduced
it,
but
now
they're
going
to
be
able
to
tell
me
what
those
roots
do.
What
the
stem
of
a
plant
is
going
to
be.
That's
we're
gonna,
compare
it
to
a
chunk
of
the
tree
that
they've
been
out
here
in
seeds,
so
bringing
to
all
that
learning
and
experience
into
the
classroom
just
widened
their
horizon
and
their
paradigm
I
mean
it's
just
beyond
belief.
A
In
the
spring,
students
will
put
their
knowledge
and
experience
to
work
they
plant
and
care
for
a
tree
at
school
and
promote
tree
conservation
through
reducing
reusing
and
recycling
tree
products
from
beginning
to
end.
This
unit
integrates
standards
for
environmental
literacy,
science,
social
studies,
Common
Core,
language,
arts
and
math,
physical
education
and
other
content
areas.
A
Almost
any
aspect
of
this
experience
can
be
magical
for
a
child,
walking
on
an
unpaved
trail,
looking
up
into
the
forest
canopy
listening
to
birds,
sing
measuring
an
ancient
tree
by
holding
hands
with
a
friend
riding
in
a
rowboat
holding
a
fish
collecting
tree
seeds,
building
a
nest
or
digging
in
the
leaf
litter.
These
and
other
hands-on
experiences
make
a
lasting
impression
on
kindergartners
for.
O
Them
to
be
able
to
feel
it
and
touch
it
and
see
it.
It's
different
stages
from
the
seeds
of
small
trees,
the
large
trees
being
on
the
water.
All
that
it
kind
of
brings
it
full
circle
for
the
kids,
where
a
lot
of
times
in
the
classroom,
its
kind
of
segmented.
So
they
don't
get
to
see
that
full
picture
being.
A
R
The
writing
on
the
walls
course
was
designed
to
create
an
exciting
experience
for
students
who
might
not
normally
consider
taking
an
art
course.
We
examine
modern
artists
in
a
modern
material
and
may
encourage
students
to
find
their
voice
and
tell
their
story
through
their
work.
Writing
on
the
walls
is
such.
