Their
relationship
first
I
I
try
to
get
to
my
students
as
best
as
possible.
They
are
very
receptive
to
my
honesty.
They
know
they
don't.
They
may
not
get
as
much
honestly
at
home,
but
I
think
when
they
come
and
they
know
they
know
the
structure.
They
know
how
the
class
is
gonna
be
ran.
They
know
their
expectations
from
me
and
I
think
that
helps
build
the
classroom,
culture,
everyone's
kind
of
like
not
letting
each
other
go
behind
and
we
all
work
together
and
collaborate
and
I
know
they
can
ask
for
help.
But
any
means.

She's,
a
fabulous
young
educator.
She
brings
children
along
from
wherever
they
are
through
a
rigorous
course
of
study
in
mathematics,
she's
outstanding
and
she
she
likes
to
be
in
this
particular
school
with
our
diversity
and
she
likes
to
work
with
all
different
types
of
kids
and
she's.

Each
and
every
day,
as
a
role
model
for
your
students
now
as
nationally
board
certified
teachers,
you
serve
as
role
models
for
your
colleagues.
Don't
take
this
lightly.
My
expectation
is
that
you
step
forward
and
lead.
You
are
talented,
you
are
committed,
you
are
skilled
and
you
are
passionate
and
you
are
needed.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
you
are
awesome.
B
H
Worth
of
research
shows
that
students
of
national
board
certified
teachers
outperform
their
peers
on
achievement
tests.
In
addition,
school
districts
with
a
high
concentration
of
national
board
certified
teachers
are
likely
to
see
improvements
in
school
culture,
collaboration
and
teacher
retention
with
the
second
highest
number
of
national
board.
Certified
teachers
in
the
state,
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools,
has
made
a
clear
commitment
just
to
supporting
our
teachers
as
true
leaders
in
the
profession
panel.

C
B
A
process
that
can
take
up
to
three
years:
Anne
Arundel
County's
2017-18
class,
successfully
completed
rigorous
assessments
with
the
assistance
of
a
professional
development
program
offered
by
the
school
system.
More
than
100
educators
are
seeking
to
earn
national
board
certified
status
over
the
next
two
years.
Students
who
are
away
from
school,
recuperating
from
long-term
illnesses
have
been
able
to
stay
connected
to
their
schools.
Lessons
and
friends,
thanks
to
assistive
robot
technology
and
the
continued
generosity
of
community
partners.
I
J
I
think
the
dedication
tonight
from
2017
was
a
wonderful
way
to
show
that
our
students
are
compassionate.
Our
community's
stand
behind
their
students
stand
behind
their
schools,
and
this
is
one
way
that
we
can
reach
out
and
help
students
who
are
in
need-
and
it's
certainly
gonna-
provide
that
that
pathway
for
them
to
be
successful
and
that's
what
it's
about
the
mission
is:
are
the
students
learning?
What
can
we
do
to
support
them
and
their
families,
and
this
was
a
great
thing-
that
Peter
and
his
class
advisors
put
together
members.
B
I
I
was
fighting
my
second
battle
with
cancer
against
leukemia
I
was
in
the
hospital
doing
online
school
and
I.
It
was
not
the
most
fun
experience.
There
was,
but
I
loved
all
the
online
school
teachers,
but
it
just
could
not
be
anywhere
close
to
the
real
thing.
My
mother
got
an
email
asking
if
I
would
like
to
use
a
robot
to
go
to
school.
I
was
so
happy
at
that
idea.
I
It
was
the
happiest
I
had
been
in
weeks,
and
so
we
got
double
and
I
got
to
use
a
robot
to
go
to
class
and
it
it
really
helped
get
me
motivated
to
go
to
school
and
to
keep
getting
good
grades
because
compared
to
online
school,
the
robot
I
could
interact
with
my
friends.
I
could
interact
with
the
teacher
I
could
just
talk
to
my
friends
or
just
listen
to
them.
Making
bad
jokes
it
made
me
feel
like
I
was
a
normal
student.
I
K
A
teacher's
perspective:
this
is
one
of
the
easiest
ways
to
get
a
kid
back
into
the
classroom
without
actually
having
to
physically
put
a
student
there.
Your
teaching
style
doesn't
change,
because
you
can
have
the
student
move
themselves
around
the
classroom.
You
can
do
the
same
activities.
You
can
do
your
gallery
walks.
Your
team
work,
your
pair,
your
pair
ups,
it
just
works
seamlessly
with
your
most
any
instructional
strategy.
One.
I
Of
the
hardest
things
about
having
a
disease
or
finding
any
type
of
trauma,
is
you
feel
alone,
and
you
can
get
depressed
you
can
get
down
on
yourself
but
being
able
to
interact
with
your
friends
through
the
double
robot.
Just
it
brings
you
back
up
and
it
gives
you
hope
and
it
makes
you
feel
happy
again.
This.
B
A
Year
about
two
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
people
experienced
a
cardiac
arrest
outside
of
a
hospital
setting,
their
survival
depends
on
a
bystander
being
able
to
perform
CPR
by
training
every
high
school
student
to
become
a
lifesaver.
We
increase
the
chances
that
many
of
those
250,000
people
can
survive
that
cardiac
arrest.

When
a
school
bus
stops
to
load
students
as
a
driver,
this
is
what
you
will
see
at
150
feet.
The
bus
will
activate
hazard
lights
at
a
hundred
feet.
The
bus
driver
will
activate
the
amber
lights,
they
will
start
slowing
down
at
ten
feet
before
the
bus
stops.
They
will
turn
on
the
red
bus
lights,
their
stop
sign
will
come
out
and
students
will
begin
to
load
once
all
students
are
on
board
safely.
The
bus
driver
will
turn
off
red
lights
and
move
forward
at
this
time.
It
is
safe
for
the
motorists
to
resume
movement.
