B
C
D
Thank
you,
bria
hello.
Everyone
we've
waited
so
long
for
this
day
and
not
even
a
pandemic
could
ruin
it.
It
tried
really
hard,
but
here
we
are
ready
to
begin
a
school
year
together,
all
of
us
in
our
new
school
home.
I
am
so
happy
to
celebrate
with
you
today.
I
know
you're
all
really
excited
to
check
out
our
classrooms,
but
before
we
go
further
in
the
program,
I
would
like
to
introduce
our
special
guests
who
have
come
to
celebrate
with
us:
anne
arundel,
county
board
of
education
board
member
robert
silkworth.
D
E
F
Thank
you
so
much
good
afternoon
and
greetings
on
behalf
of
president
ellis
and
my
colleagues
on
the
board
of
education.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
this
is
an
exciting
day.
After
several
years
the
ribbon
is
about
to
be
cut
and
how
exciting
it
is
to
be
going
back
to
school.
But
what
is
more
exciting
is
our
students
are
coming
back
to
this
beautiful
school
that
is
absolutely
marvelous,
so
richard
henry
now,
I
believe
it's
about
a
40
million
dollar
facility,
the
culmination
of
a
24
month,
revitalization
project
at
about
81
000
square
feet.
F
We
thank
our
county
executive,
mr
stuart
pittman,
as
well
as
all
of
the
members
of
our
anne
arundel
county
council.
We
also
would
like
to
thank,
of
course,
all
of
our
state
officials
for
helping
to
make
sure
that
this
project
was
realized
for
this
community.
We
also
thank,
of
course,
dr
arlata,
our
superintendent
and
his
marvelous
staff.
F
F
F
Those
who
know
me
know
that
I
always
say
that
brick
and
mortar
do
not
make
a
school.
The
school
is
made
great
by
the
stakeholders
who
work
together
to
make
sure
that
all
students
have
the
chance
to
shine.
I
understand
the
vision
of
the
eagles
of
richard
henry
lee.
That
vision
is
to
collaborate
to
learn
from
each
other
and
to
strengthen
relationships.
F
I
don't
know
that
these
three
understand
the
impact
that
they
have
had,
but
their
impact
has
been
very
dramatic
and
from
the
bottom
of
my
heart.
I
thank
you
so
much
this
new
learning
environment
for
richard
henry
lee
will
be
critical
in
the
whole
learning
process
so
that
the
vision
of
richard
henry
lee
will
be
able
to
be
realized.
I
am
so
happy
for
the
students
and
the
families
of
this
school.
F
G
H
H
I
have
purposely
not
visited
this
school
since
you
moved
out
down
the
street
to
corcoran,
because
I've
been
so
excited
about
the
renovation,
maybe
more
so
than
you,
no
not
more
so
than
you,
but
very
excited
about
what
this,
because
we
know
what
what
this
building
was
right
and
this
building
loved
this
community
in
its
way
for
so
many
years.
But
we
needed
to
give
some
love
back
and
I
am
so
excited
to
take
the
tour
to
see
the
building.
I've
purposely
kept
myself
out,
so
thank
you
to
the
community.
Thank
you.
H
H
All
right,
so
I
played
with
words
there
a
little
bit
seamlessly,
so
thank
you
for
transitioning
to
corcoran
middle
school
during
the
construction
and
to
the
staff
and
administration
at
corcoran
for
being
such
wonderful
partners
in
this
project.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
have
a
fabulous
year
and
before
I
leave
the
microphone,
let
me
introduce
miss
boomi
amisori,
who
is
the
student
member
of
the
board
of
education
who
arrived
just
after
we
got
started
I'll,
make
sure
that
she
was
recognized.
Thank
you.
I
J
Good
afternoon,
everyone
I'm
going
to
take
this
off
for
just
a
minute
and
thank
you
olivia
for
the
introduction,
and
you
pronounced
my
name
right,
which
is
very
seldom
happens.
So
thank
you
for
that.
It's
very
exciting
to
be
here
today.
The
last
time
I
was
at
this
school.
I
was
meeting
with
melissa
and
mr
jaconovich
and
mr
mosher
and
we
were
trying
to
get
a
brand
new
school.
J
We
really
wanted
to
tear
this
down
and
start
over,
but
I'm
so
excited
today
to
be
in
the
building
and
see
it
looks
like
a
brand
new
school
and
like
dr
alato,
I'm
looking
forward
to
taking
the
tour,
but
it's
it's
just
beautiful,
so
melissa
and
your
team.
Thank
you
for
all
the
work
you
did
to
to
get
this
done
to
get
it
in
the
budget.
J
It's
so
so
much
needed
and
appreciated,
and-
and
I
know
it's
a
small
school-
but
I
think
it's
so
important
in
communities
to
have
a
school
in
your
community,
and
so
I'm
delighted
that
richard
henry
lee
after
70
years
is
going
to
remain
in
this
community,
be
part
of
your
community.
So
I
wish
everyone
a
really
wonderful
school
year,
I'd
like
to
bring
up
delegates,
rogers
and
and
delegate
chang
with
me,
and
we're
going
to
present
a
citation
to
our
principal
this
colonel
right.
Do
you
have
that
right?
So
I
don't
want
the
delegates.
J
So
this
is
a
maryland
general
assembly
official
citation
yet
here
by
noon
to
all
that,
sincerest
congratulations
are
offered
to
richard
henry
elementary
school
in
recognition
of
your
ribbon-cutting
may
the
school
bring
inspiration
to
the
students
of
the
community
for
many
years
to
come,
presented
on
the
second
day
of
september
2021..
Thank.
K
I
have
to
thank
the
taxpayers
for
what
they've
done
to
pay
for
this
and
all
the
other
schools,
but
we
did
have
to
be
a
little
bit
creative.
We
had
to
create
a
new
fund
for
permanent
public
improvements
to
fund
the
school
construction
that
this
county
needs
and
you
all
are
paying
for
that,
and
I
thank
you
very
much.
Please
raise
your
hand
if
you
were.
I
know
we
have
at
least
three
advocates
that
help
make
this
happen.
Raise
your
hand
if
you
helped
in
some
way
to
convince
somebody
that
this
should
happen
all
right.
K
There
you
go,
but
you
must
have
some
words.
L
Are
new
to
this
have
never
been
in
the
building
to
see
what
it
looked
like
before
on
one
of
those
many
many
tours
of
elected
officials.
I
was
actually
that
at
the
time
the
president
of
the
council
of
ptas,
but
we
brought
a
couple
new
school
board
members
and
some
county
council
members
at
the
time
through
and
the
state
of
the
school
at
that
time,
and
I'm
going
to
get
emotional
brought
grown
men
to
tears.
L
You
have
an
amazing
community
here
and
you
deserve,
like
all
students
in
this
county,
a
beautiful
facility
and
I'm
so
excited
to
get
the
tour
I've
only
snuck
into
the
lobby
about
a
year
ago.
I
have
not
seen
the
rest
of
the
school
and
I
I
it's
unbelievable
the
transformation,
so
congratulations
and
the
school
is
going
to
be
building
amazing
citizens.
I
just
love
seeing
this
row
of
students.
L
K
I
do,
and
this
is
for
you
all
and
everybody
out
who
is
part
of
the
school,
but
especially
for
your
awesome,
principal
kimmel.
Thank
the
residents
of
anne
arundel
county
maryland,
salute
richard
henry
lee
elementary
school
in
recognition
of
your
grand
opening
and
ribbon
cutting
ceremony
of
your
newly
renovated
school.
Thank
you
for
your
dedication
to
our
community.
Your
selfless
and
tireless
commitment
to
your
students
and
for
the.
D
D
Our
staff
has
been
absolutely
awesome
during
this
crazy
construction
ride
having
to
relocate,
compounded
the
challenges,
but
our
teachers
never
blinked.
They
created
engaging
inviting
learning
environments
in
unfamiliar
spaces,
proving
that
they
are
the
consummate
professionals
for
that
our
students
continue
to
achieve.
D
D
D
Chief
operating
officer
for
anne
arundel,
county
public
schools,
alex
shaknovich
facilitators,
director
lisa,
seaman
crawford
project
manager,
jonathan
norris
and
the
entire
aacps
facilities
division
for
their
attention
to
detail
and
dedication
to
ensuring
that
our
needs
were
met.
Even
when
we
were
at
corcoran
middle
school,
they
did
their
very
best
to
make
sure
that
we
functioned
as
our
own
school
and
we
never
once
felt
out
of
place.
D
D
I
also
want
to
acknowledge
our
food
service
workers
who
may
not
have
helped
build
the
school,
but
they
nourish
our
school
community
with
more
than
just
food.
Their
dedication
to
our
students
is
unmatched.
Thank
you
all
for
making
my
job
easier,
I'm
so
proud
of
our
team.
Finally,
I
really
want
to
thank
my
family.
I
love
you
now
it's
time
to
cut
the
ribbon
dignitaries
and
designated
students.
