We're
certainly
not
dogging
it
here
in
Harwood,
hi,
I'm,
Wylie
Baker,
with
another
edition
of
athletes
in
action
where
I've
been
told,
there's
a
little
bit
of
bark
and
a
little
bit
of
bite
with
this
girls,
basketball
team,
hey,
let's
trouble
in
with
the
southern
Lady
Bulldogs
and
Hall
of
Fame
head
coach,
Linda
Kilpatrick,
the
young
lady
dogs,
are
making
a
positive
early
impact.
We.

This
year
on,
my
team
I
have
a
daughter
one
of
my
former
players,
Beth
Smith
Thompkins,
who
is
in
our
Southern
High
School
Hall
of
Fame
for
girls,
basketball.
She
was
also
the
MVP
of
the
all-star
game.
The
year
she
played
and
she
coaches,
my
JV
and
her
daughter
was
one
of
those
freshmen
that
made
the
varsity
team
steep.
B
B
It
just
says
a
lot
about
longevity
I
think
the
thing
I'm,
the
proudest
of
here
at
southern,
isn't
the
number
of
wins.
It's
like
I
just
said
we
have
a
tradition
and
we
have
a
tradition
of
excellence.
We
have
a
tradition
of
in
every
decade.
So
far,
we've
gone
to
the
Final
Four.
We're
working
on
that
for
the
for
this
decade
and
I.
Think
with
the
talent
I
have
coming,
will
make
that
I.

Are
during
the
regular
season
since
we
play
in
such
a
competitive
league
is
to
beat
somebody
we're
not
supposed
to,
and
if
you
can
do
that,
one
of
those
ones
that
you
knock
off
that
they're
not
expecting
you.
That
is
really
a
good
thing
for
us.
I
want
these
young
girls
to
to
keep
improving,
keep
developing
and
at
the
end
of
season,
I
tell
them
that
they're
not
rookies
anymore.
We've
completed
the
season
and
now
it's
time
to
start
our
real
season
working.
