It's the 10th anniversary of athletes in action along with cameraman and director Eric Cloyd I'm Wiley Baker, where the knights are in shining armor with one of their best seasons. Ever let's head on in and get some kicks with the north county boys soccer team and head coach, Sean bahigan.

North County nights boys soccer team is like none other in school history with players having been friends since Medieval Times, okay well at least since elementary school days. Some.

Of these players have been with me since they were freshmen, some of them I've coached, since they were five years old, which makes it even more special, this senior group, many of them I coached, when they were five all the way up until where they are now.

I mean it's just amazing, going out to be able to go out there every day and play with some of your childhood friends with playing this game. We all love and played together, since we were all five years old. It's just amazing. It.

Goes a long way back, Jackson number 13., I've known him since preschool. Like it's been a long time. Five years, I played with him as my first team, so the Friendship there goes real far back same with Austin's. The goalie are.

We all grown up together just having the bond of like a family and just being there for each other having each other's back sticking up for each other.

The bonds that they have there's not is there a lot of selflessness in this group that makes them very unique and they're out and eager to support one another, no matter if it's a peak or a valley they're there to kind of take their brother back and be a big time support base for that person.

The team credits, the captains, coaches and many field leaders towards one of its best seasons.

Ever coach he's been he's always been there for us. He's done, he'll, stick his head out anywhere to help us, and it really shows so we're also there to do anything for him. Yeah.

It all started kind of our freshman year, seeing the older kids and how they did it and same coach all throughout and so just being around them and learning as we were young and now it's our turn to kind of push it forward and be that guy that our younger guys now look up to the.

Leadership is is a really good quality. uh We have a lot of good leaders here at North, County High School. They are selfless in that sense of they put the team before themselves.

Knights boys soccer is now known as one of the quickest fittest and savviest squads in Anne Arundel County Ohio athletes.

um Me I play soccer lacrosse, a lot of them play baseball, lacrosse track in the spring, and so ever since that we all just are all fit and we're all constantly doing something.

Most of us during drills, he sets up drills that are not only fun for us to keep us really in tune, but we really get the fitness through those.

And when they came into camp this year was probably the first group of guys that have come in and really each and every one has been at their top fitness level and I. Think that's one of the ear markers that's contributed to the success this year. Goals.

Ride high on the field and in the classroom, it's.

Kind of good for us to just be able to keep our minds focused on. We got to get this assignment done in a certain amount of time and make sure this grade is good. So we can come out here every day and be able to play I.

Have teachers that help me out some really good ones have stuck with me since my freshman year, they always offer to help. My parents are always there for me if, when I needed help to help me keep it up, takes a lot of studying I.

Try to get as much done as I can in the beginning of the week and then have my time at the end of the week to do whatever I want hang out with my friends student.

Athlete peace here at North, County, High School across the board, is very important to the athletic department and Ryan aliarty, but through the soccer element as well. That's one of the things that we hold true and that's one of the Hallmarks that we kind of preach as we go along that they are students prior to being athletes. I mean that's the biggest piece of that. The knights have.

Woken up the Daylights of their fans with their Shining Armor performances. It's.

Thrilling from the not big fans that we've had since freshman year and now to see we have student sections that come out, it's really thrilling it latency environment and it makes people try that little bit extra hard. Oh.

It's been amazing, going out on the field under the lights and seeing it the stands packed for us. It's just something completely different. That I don't know. If we've ever had it.

Feels a lot better. Knowing since freshmere, we didn't have the biggest fan base, but now as time progress, we get we're getting better we're getting more wins and we're just getting more fans.

And this year we've kind of gone from having three wins last year to nine wins Total this year and it's really brought some electricity to the student at the student body here at North. County and our crowds have really seen that kind of electric charge from the students here at North County, along with the alumni.
