C
A
A
So
obviously
I
know
some
of
you
rather
be
in
bed
I'd
rather
be
in
bed
right
now,
cuz
I'm
not
used
to
being
up
this
early,
so
I
figured
I'd
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
mystery
of
the
teenage
mind,
and
probably
some
of
you
wonder
why
you
do
some
of
the
things
that
you
do
and
we
don't
talk
a
lot
about
it,
we're
starting
to
talk
more
about
it.
We
being
teachers,
administrators
and
individuals
like
that,
but
we
all
have
a
choice
and
how
many
11th
graders
in
here
any
seniors,
sophomores
freshmen,
okay,.
A
A
C
C
A
A
A
A
Not
giving
up
I
like
that,
isn't
that
what
the
young
man
was
talking
about
not
giving
up
so
a
lot
of
times,
though,
what
we
see
is
the
top
part
of
the
iceberg,
I
like
to
say
we
focus
on
the
highlights,
like
somebody
like
Steph
Curry
or
anybody.
That's
been
super
successful.
We
forget
that
they
maybe
had
a
lot
of
failures
in
life.
So
we
don't
see
that
part.
A
C
A
A
D
A
A
A
So
have
you
ever
heard
of
like
fight
flight
or
freeze
and
stress
like
too
much
stress
shuts
down
your
higher
learning
too
little
stress
makes
you
disinterested
like
right
now.
This
is
really
flat
and
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
how
to
like
bring
up
the
energy.
So
everybody
stand
up
for
a
second
cuz.
I
actually
need
the
energy,
so
everybody
stand
up.
You
know
what.
C
B
A
A
All
right
so
guys,
so
obviously
this
is
not
very
interesting
to
you
right
now
and
just
having
a
really
quick
conversation
with
one
of
the
teachers
in
a
room.
So
let's
just
switch
gears.
The
reason
why
we
talk
about
these
things
sometimes
any
reason
why
we
do
these
types
of
events
is
to
make
things
interesting.
But,
to
be
honest
with
you,
like,
the
energy
in
the
room
is
pretty
flat
now
part
of
it's
probably
me
because
I
don't
have
a
ton
of
energy
right
now,
but
a
muscle
picking
up
on
your
energy.
A
So
for
those
of
you
who
have
been
participating.
Thank
you.
So
the
people
are
in
11th
grade
here's.
What
I'm
curious
about?
What's
March
27th
SAT
and
do
you
have
to
pay
for
it
is
the
school
paying
for
it
or
is
the
county
pam-4
it
the
county,
Wow,
so
the
county's
paying
for
you
to
take
a
test
now.
Have
you
all
started
preparing
for
this
test?
How
many
people
will
show
of
hands
11th
grade?
A
A
C
A
A
So
that
was
that
an
actual
response
to
one
of
these
things
up
here
so
which
one
freeze,
okay,
he
froze.
He
froze
a
little.
How
many
so
many
people
play
a
sport
or
in
the
musical
acquire
anything
like
that.
Has
this
ever
happened
to
you?
Okay,
so
what
did
you
do
to
overcome
it?
The
one
who
got
the
guy?
They
just
said:
yeah
yeah,.
A
A
A
A
C
A
A
A
A
A
Marijuana
will
impact
you
more
than
US
adults
in
the
room
if
we
were
to
partake
of
it
so
I
know
sometimes
you're
thinking
about
people,
us
old
people
like
just
saying
this,
just
to
say
it,
but
if
you,
if
you
guys,
really
want
to
perform
at
a
high
level
now
who
doesn't
want
to
perform
at
a
high
level
anybody,
so
the
question
becomes.
Why
does
someone
do
things
like
that?
Maybe
it
is
stress,
so
we
said
stress
could
be
good
or
bad.
A
Miss
Tibor
talked
about.
Sometimes
when
you
have
a
deadline,
that's
what
gets
her
going!
I,
don't
know
if
you
know
this
or
not,
but
that
person
who
said
I
have
a
dream
who
speeches
that.
A
So
he
actually
didn't
come
up
with
that
part
of
the
speech
and
tell
minutes
before
going
on
stage,
because
he
continued
to
iterate
and
iterate
and
iterate.
So
sometimes
we
think
you're
procrastinating.
Actually
you're,
not
especially
if
you're
iterating
does
somebody
know
what
that
word
means.
Do
you
know
what
that
word
means
anybody
know
what
that
word
means
other
than
the
teacher.
It's
like
an
SAT
word.
What
does
this
sound
like?
A
A
B
A
A
A
A
The
principles
that
you
do
in
sports
by
practice
practice
practice.
Why
don't
you
apply
that
same
principle
in
the
classroom?
Ok,
here
you
got
to
say
it
a
little
louder,
all
right!
So
not
as
interesting.
Someone
said
okay,
so
we
got
that
not
as
interesting
no
one's
watching
you.
What
was
that?
What's
schools,
too
long,
okay,
so
schools
too
long
Jordan?
What's
what's
your
response.
D
A
A
C
D
C
A
What
we're
saying
is
relationships
are
important.
Oh
yeah,
totally
totally
so.
Relationships
are
important,
so
all
of
the
adults
in
the
room
should
take
the
time
to
get
to
know
at
least
one
student.
Is
that
we're
saying
so?
If
there's
like
25
to
30
students
in
the
room,
got
you
5
minutes
and
you
guys
are
saying
I'm,
saying
I'm
saying
yes,
5
more
minutes
and
I
get
to
go
just
kidding.
So
what
we
should
do
is
develop
a
relationship
with
you
all
right.
A
Better
understanding,
I
would
say,
I
I
would
I
think
that's
a
great
assessment.
Do
you
all
agree
with
what
that
is
mache.
Do
you
think
that's
true
as
well,
so
so
here's
the
funny
thing,
though,
like
I,
don't
know
if
you
realize
this
or
not,
but
the
trainings
this
year
for
a
lot
of
the
teachers
has
been
exactly
on
that
it's
been
on
actually
trying
to
develop
a
better
relationship
with
the
students.
A
So
what's
really
interesting,
like
everything
on
the
board,
everything
on
the
board,
so
do
you
think
if
it's,
if
you
think
it's
hard
for
you
all,
it's
also
hard
for
teachers,
especially
you've
been
teaching
more
than
10
years
right.
You've
been
teaching
more
than
10
years
right,
so
they
have
to
relearn
things.
So
that's
why
this
term
is
really
important
and
the
cool
thing
is
they
are
willing
to
do
it
because
it's
their
responsibility
right
because
you,
oh
you
like
them.
Michale,
do
you
like
them.
C
C
A
C
C
A
Mean
what,
if
you
don't
do
your
work
like
what
happens?
If
you
don't
do
your
work
yeah,
but
you
know
what
you
realize
grades,
don't
really
like.
I,
don't
know
this
well.
I
have
three
children,
a
mice
and
my
son
just
recently
graduated
from
Cornell
and
he
started
off
at
a
job
starting
basically
like
90,000
a
year,
and
it's
because
he
worked
his
butt
off
and
he
had
a
job
before
his
senior
year
started.
So
he
had
that
responsibility
before
he
showed
up.
A
So
don't
piss
her
off.
Okay!
Anything
else
is
that
it
how
about
Michelle's
class?
This
is
your
class
here,
but
they
all
love
you.
So
all
right,
hey,
so
I'm
gonna
leave
you
with
this
slide
right
here
and
if
you
take
a
look
at
it,
you
see
in
the
middle
there's
a
Japanese
where
it
called
a
Chi
Chi.
So
essentially,
what
it
means
is-
and
hopefully
US
adults
in
the
room
can
help
you
with
this.
A
Why
would
you
come
at
this
point
in
time?
It's
kind
of
weird
to
me:
hey
so
guys,
here's
a
question:
how
many
people
think
they're
gonna
have
a
job
where
they're
gonna
work
for
5
to
15
years,
who
raise
their
hand
so
stand
up
and
tell
me
why
the
young
lady,
all
the
way
over?
Yes,
you
come
on
Nicky
stand
up.
I
can't
hear
you.
C
D
A
Right
so
here's
what
I'm
gonna
say
to
you
all.
Thank
you.
I'm
gonna
say
this
one
point
I,
hopefully
you'll.
Remember
this
more
than
likely
we're
going
into
what
we
call
a
gig
economy
and
because
we're
going
into
a
gig
economy,
that
means
you're,
not
gonna,
be
working
at
a
company
for
15
20
25
30
years.
It
means
that
you're
gonna
need
to
have
skills
that
you
can
market
you're
going
to
need
to
be
able
to
use
this
because
you're
gonna
have
to
be
able
to
continue
to
learn
this
matters
a
lot.
A
So
the
point
that
I'm
leaving
you
with
is
while
you're
here
in
school
practice
those
skills
practice
building
up
relationships
with
people
who
may
not
have
reached
out
to
you
so
say
the
adult
may
need
the
modeling
from
you.
So
sometimes
we
need
the
help
from
you
all,
instead
of
it
coming
from
the
opposite
way
around.
So
my
time
is
up.
Thank
you
very
much.
