A
Welcome
to
the
infants
and
toddlers
program
through
random
anna
county
public
schools,
where
our
motto
is
the
sooner
the
better
our
program
is
designed
for
children,
ages,
0-3.
We
know
and
recognize
the
importance
of
the
first
5
years
of
life,
so
our
program
provides
parents
and
children
with
the
necessary
strategies
and
tools
to
support
the
family
in
the
appropriate
early
intervention.
A
As
your
bilingual
specialist
of
the
program,
I
am
very
happy
that
you
found
this
video
to
learn
more
about
the
benefits
of
receiving
intervention.
Early
childhood
for
your
child.
All
children
learn
and
grow
at
their
own
pace
and
style.
Some
need
support
to
be
able
to
achieve
those
developmental
skills
that
are
expected
before
the
age
of
three.
So
we
are
here
to
support
you.
A
What
is
the
infant
and
toddler
program?
Our
early
intervention
program
is
focused
on
monitoring
and
promoting
development
and
skills
in
the
first
three
years
of
life,
our
staff
includes
special
educators,
physical
therapists,
occupational
therapists
and
language
pathologists.
Each
member
has
experience
and
knowledge
in
all
areas
of
development,
allowing
us
to
have
a
multidisciplinary
model
and
team.
A
We
are
a
division
of
the
special
education
department
of
the
county.
Public
schools
have
expanded
in
addition
to
having
a
team
of
educators
and
therapists
and
speech
pathologists.
We
also
have
staff
who
are
certified
and
available
to
assist
you
with
specific
concerns,
such
as
behavior
vision
and
hearing.
A
A
A
How
you
can
refer
either
by
going
to
our
online
site
and
filling
out
this
referral?
Also
by
calling
or
faxing.
Please
note
that
each
referral
must
be
confirmed
by
a
parent
or
guardian
who
consents
to
proceed
with
This
evaluation
process
in
the
county
of
Anbando.
We
have
Spanish-speaking
staff
who
are
ready
to
assist
you.
A
A
As
children
eligible
for
this
program
may
be
eligible
in
three
ways
to
present
a
delay
of
25%
in
one
or
more
areas
of
development,
of
the
adjusted
chronological
age,
or
also
if
the
child
has
any
health
condition,
birth
or
a
medical
condition.
That
puts
your
child
at
risk
of
delay
as
well.
If
he
or
she
presents
atypical
development
in
one
or
more
areas,.
A
A
About
the
evaluations,,
how
is
it
possible
to
evaluate
a
baby
and
such
a
young
child,
?
or,
and
what
do
these
assessments
look
like?
As
we
mentioned
earlier,
there
are
six
areas
of
development
and
no
matter
what
the
concern
our
team
of
assessors
will
assess
all
of
those
areas.
This
team
is
comprised
of
at
least
two
professionals
from
different
disciplines
who
will
come
to
your
home
and
assess
your
child
in
their
natural
environment
through
play
and
interaction.
Most
assessments
take
about
an
hour
depending
on
the
child.
Information
will
also
be
retrieved
and
interviewed
with
parents.
A
Slide,
what
is
a
y
fsp
that
is
an
individualized
and
personalized
plan
of
services
for
the
family,
children
who
are
younger
than
3
years
of
age
receive
services
under
this
document.
That
is
different
from
the
document
that
children
have
when
they
are
of
school
age.
That
is
called
and
pp
services
and
goals
are
written
here
for
the
child,
his
or
her
family
and
all
members
are
included.
These
services
are
provided
and
delivered
within
the
timeframes
required
by
the
state.
A
We
offer
language
and
interpretation
services,
we
have
interpreters
available
throughout
the
county
for
all
languages,
including
American,
Sign
Language.
Our
interpreters
are
part
of
the
team
and
are
included
in
all
assessments,
meetings
and
direct
services.
Please
request
an
interpreter
when
making
the
referral.
A
A
This
looks
a
little
different
than
the
medical
model
that
is
use
in
private
centers
Two
or
in
hospital
studies
have
shown
that
children
learn
best
by
practicing
in
their
routines
with
the
family,
training
in
power
to
parents
and
caregivers,
and
provides
the
necessary
intervention
for
your
child
to
practice
during
daily
activities.
Maximizing
these
opportunities
to
enhance
your
child's
development,
the
amount
of
services
recommended
will
be
determined
based
on
need
during
the.
A
A
How
long
is
the
program
this
early
intervention
program
for
infants
and
toddlers
is
birth
to
to
3
years
old
children
continue
to
receive
services
until
they
are
no
longer
eligible.
Parents
can
refuse
or
cancel
these
services
at
any
time,
and
in
case
you
move
to
another
state.
You
can
transfer
these
services
to
the
state
where
you
move,
since
this
program
is
nationwide,
but
the
services
in
our
county
would
end
once
the
family
no
longer
resides
here.
A
Some
important
reminders
are
that
you,
the
parent,
are
the
most
important
part
of
the
team
at
all
times
from
the
assessment
process
to
plan
development
and
the
provision
of
services.
Those
services
are
voluntary.
Remember
that
we
are
here
to
support
your
child's
abilities
and
that
all
children
develop
differently.
It
is
a
pleasure
to
have
shared
with
you
and
we
hope
to
hear
from
you
soon
through
a
referral
to
our
program.
