From YouTube: Food 4 Thought - Franklin Chaney, Recreation and Parks
Description
Jodi speaks with Franklin Chaney, Chief of Recreation Services for Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks.
A
You
hi
I'm
Jodie
Russi,
the
host
for
food
for
thought
and
thanks
for
watching
today,
I'm
honored
to
host
Franklin
Cheney
from
the
Anne
Arundel
County,
Recreation
and
Parks
he's
the
chief
of
recreational
services
and
he's
truly
a
partner
to
us
in
Anne
Arundel
County
welcome
Franklin
to
food
for
thought.
Thank.
A
As
I
said,
you're
definitely
a
natural
with
us
in
here
and
a
partner
that
we've
had
many
times.
So
thank
you
again,
but
I
think
it's
always
so
important
for
us
to
talk
about
our
partnership
and
what
we
do,
but,
more
importantly,
for
the
viewers.
What
exactly
is
your
role
at
Recreation
and
Parks,
and
just
a
little
bit
about
yourself
all.
B
Right
I've
been
at
department
for
29
years
now:
I
am
the
chief
of
rec
services,
so
I
oversee
our
two
indoor
swim
centers,
our
school
weights,
childcare
program,
which
we
have
36
sites,
I
also
oversee
our
two
golf
courses
and
some
other
contracts
that
we
have
also
our
recreation
programs
that
we
have
in
many
of
our
schools,
including
our
summer
programs
camps,
different
events
that
we
have
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
You.
A
B
Recreation
parks
where
the
Department
of
fun
would
like
to
call
us
so
lot
going
on.
We
are
proud
of
what
we
do,
but
we're
certainly
proud
of
the
partnership
that
we
have
with
the
Board
of
Education,
so
we,
you
know
we're
all
in
it
for
the
same
thing.
So
it's
thank
you
for
having
me
here
today.
It's.
A
B
Whole
lot
new,
going
on
what
we'd
like
to
talk
about
it,
recreation
parks,
which
many
of
your
listeners
or
viewers
do
not
know,
is
that
record
parks
does
all
the
scheduling
at
the
schools
after
hours
and
on
weekends.
So
if
someone
nonprofit
group
wants
to
do
something
out
of
school,
they
don't
go
to
the
school.
They
go
to
the
Recreation
and
Parks
Department
I
mean
many
people,
don't
know
that.
But
you
talk
about
our
partnership.
It's
it's
a
duty
of
ours,
our
responsibility.
B
When
the
community
agreement
was
done
over
40
years
ago
between
the
Board
of
Ed
and
the
county,
it
was
decided
a
long
time
ago
that
the
Recreation
and
Parks
would
do
that
because,
of
course,
many
of
our
users
are
the
ones
that
are
using
it.
We're
playing
basketball
in
the
gyms,
we're
playing.
You
know,
sporting
events
on
the
fields,
so
we
work
closely
with
the
business
managers
at
the
school.
You
know
the
secretaries
at
the
elementary
school
and
work
on
the
you
know,
putting
together
the
schedules
at
the
schools
after
hours
and
on
weekends
and.
B
Now,
the
coordinator,
that's
a
great
question:
we
have
a
scheduling
office
led
by
our
division,
chief
Colleen
Joseph,
and
she
does
a
great
job
and
they
it's
all
on
the
computer
these
days.
So
you
go
through
this.
It's
active
in
that
system
that
you
go
through.
You
sign
up,
and
you
know,
do
your
permit
through
that,
and
it's
definitely
centralized.
We
have
staff
of
four
in
the
office
and
they
work
hard.
It's
you
know.
It's
things
come
up
activity,
you
know,
rain
happens
and
what
people
want
to
move
indoors
so
on
and
so
forth.
B
B
Yeah
we
try
to
be
organized,
and
so
you
try
to
do
things
in
advance.
You
ask
groups
turn
in
the
permit
three
four
months
in
advance,
but
you
know
there
are
a
lot
of
them
are
volunteers,
so
you
hate
asking
volunteers
to
do,
but
so
much
because
there's
so
much
out
there
to
do
cutting
the
grass
on
the
fields
lining
the
fields
so
on
and
so
forth.
But
you
know
they're
certain.
It
makes
it
better
for
everybody
if,
if
they,
you
know,
are
organized
with
the
right
way
and.
A
It's
funny
I,
think
four
of
you
were
watching
if
they
have
children
and
they're
involved
in
in
sports
or
any
of
the
activities
that
Recreation
and
Parks
provides
for
the
communities.
They
should
become
active
right
and
they
should
take
a
role
in
what
their
children
are
doing
and
I
know.
You
mentioned
the
lining
of
the
fields,
it's
something
that
my
family
does
and
as
a
family,
we
go
when
we
line
the
fields
for
our
rec
league,
and
it
just
you
feel
good
right.
I
mean
the.
B
A
lot
of
people
think
you
know,
like
your
organizations
like
the
Crofton,
Athletic
Club
or
David
Seville
Athletic
Association,
that
they're
businesses
well
they're,
not
they're
nonprofit
groups
that
are
organized
by
volunteers,
so
they're
taking
time
away
from
their
family.
The
president
of
the
organization,
the
vice-president,
the
scheduler,
they're,
all
volunteers,
and
it's
not
easy
work
for
them
to
do,
and
you
know
lining
the
fields
dragging
in
fields
cutting
the
grass
things
like
that
record
parks
does
part
of
that.
But
a
lot
of
it
does
following
the
youth
organizations
and.
A
Carry
on
with
them
for
years
to
come,
which
we
both
talked
about
our
girls
in
their
friendships.
So
it's
kind
of
nice
to
see
that
it
really
is
the
foundation
of
a
better
community
at
large,
yes,
Parks
and
Rec.
Another
thing,
maybe
that
the
viewers
don't
know
our
recreation
parks,
they're
housed
in
our
schools
in
some
cases
and
I
think
it
might
be
rather
unique
to
us
as
a
County.
Can
you
share
a
little
bit
about
that
and
how
the
schools
and
you
all
accommodate
our
children
or
our
students
inside
the
schoolhouse
yeah.
B
Well,
it's
I
want
to
say
about
ten
years
ago
it
was
decided
that,
if
space
allowed
at
the
elementary
schools,
when
you
redid
a
school,
that
you
would
put
a
middle
school
sized
gym,
instead
of
the
regular
small
elementary
school
gym
and
then
build
a
childcare
room,
and
that
has
been
fantastic.
So
we
will
have
staff
at
it.
B
Obviously,
the
childcare
room
and
it's
just
work
fantastic,
so
I
think
we
wrap
up
to
I,
think
nearly
25
schools
now
they've
been
renovated
that
have
larger
gems,
it's
fantastic
for
our
youth,
basketball,
leagues
or
volleyball,
and
then
the
childcare
programs
that
are
that
our
citizens
are
so
dependent
on,
because
if
you
have
both
parents
working
and
the
elementary
school
starts
at
nine
o'clock,
it
makes
it
very
difficult.
What
do
you
do
with
your
kids?
So
we
do
before
care
and
after
care
and
if
they're
working,
both
parents
are
working
in
DC
that
works
fantastic.
B
A
Think
for
the
viewers
watching
in-
and
you
and
I've
talked
about
this
often
I
use
the
program.
Personally,
so
you
know
I
don't
have
to
go
to
DC.
I
only
have
to
come
to
the
Board
of
Education,
but
I
rely
on
before
care
and
aftercare
and
I
can't
say
enough.
The
staff
at
the
SAC
program,
where
my
daughter
goes,
is
truly
their
a
substitute
for
a
mom.
They
are
the
best,
the
activities
that
they
have.
The
engagement,
the
physical
activity
I
mean
it's
the
whole
package.
A
Every
time
you
go
in
there
I'm
just
an
odd
how
many
children
there
are
and
they're
all
organized
they're,
all
doing
a
task
or
they're
all
doing
a
project
or
they're
all
doing
a
game.
So
you
do
have
great
staff
and
it
definitely
makes
a
difference.
So
I
think
somebody
watching
should
just
call
me
and
I'll
be
the
testimonial.
B
We
are
very
proud,
Tammy
Anderson,
our
supervisor
that
works.
For
me.
She
does
a
fantastic
job
and
you
know
36
sites,
that's
a
lot
of
sites,
and
there
are
other
vendors
out
there
that
do
programs
in
elementary
schools
as
well,
but
it's
a
big
responsibility
as
Board
of
Education
knows
you're
responsible
for
the
child.
So
there
we
do
a
lot
of
training
in-house
training.
A
lot
of
we
go.
The
interim
Community
College
do
training
every
year
there.
So
you
know
it's
a.
B
It
is
a
good
program
and
we're
very
proud
of
it,
because
it's
important
and
the
it's
very
nice
that
the
a
child
and
parents
feel
very
secure
that
their
child
goes
to
school
during
the
day
and
then
can
stay
at
that
same
school,
so
they
don't
have
to
transport
them
somewhere
else
and
everything
else
to
work
out
and
you
guys
are
great
partners.
Thank.
A
You
and
I
think
as
a
parent
I
love
to
because
you
know
you're
sending
off,
especially
when
they're
little
you're
sending
off
your.
You
know
five
six
year
old
and
you're
just
so
worried
because
it's
the
first
day
school
or
their
first
year
school
and
for
them
to
be
in
the
school
that
they
already
know
and
they
feel
comfortable
with
just
to
be
able
to
go
to
the
SEC
program
right.
There
is
really
it's
priceless.
B
A
B
We're
a
lot
of
nothing
like
for
our
summer,
we'll
have
over
5,000
kids
participating
in
our
summer
camp
programs
and
everything.
So
it's
a
it's
a
lot.
We
touch
a
lot
it
you
know
involved
in
a
lot
of
kids,
some
of
the
camps
or
one-week
camps.
Some
of
them
are
seven
week
camps
for
all
summer.
We
will
do
some.
You
know
one
day
camps
and
everything.
B
So
during
the
school
year
we
have
a
you
know:
school
fun,
break
days
where
you
know
when
the
kids
are
off
for
school,
especially
our
Swim
Center
will
be
do
break
days
where
they
can
come
to
our
Swim
Center
for
a
day.
Parents
again
are
still
working,
so
we
provide
that
opportunity
and
and
everything
and
we're
partners
with
you
guys
on.
A
Those
and
I
know,
after
the
break,
we're
going
to
talk
about
the
food
in
the
fun
connection.
But
let's
talk
about
the
north's
Arundel,
swim
Center
and
the
Anne
Arundel
swim,
Center
again,
I
think
for
a
viewer
watching.
Do
they
really
know
what
both
of
those
facilities
have
in
the
oh
gosh?
It's
just
I
can't
say
enough
about
them.
Can.
B
The
Arundel
epic
Swim
Center,
isn't
on
River
Road
in
Annapolis
right
by
Annapolis,
High
School,
that's
facilities,
approximately
I,
think
27
years
old.
Now
it's
one
huge
pool
with
a
bulkhead
in
the
middle.
It's
a
very
popular
place
for
the
Board
of
Education.
You
guys
run
a
bunch
of
most
of
your
swim
meets
high
school
swim
meets
there,
but
you
know
during
the
day
a
lot
of
seniors
and
you
know
working
class.
B
B
Things
like
that
at
the
other
Pole,
the
North
Arundel
Aquatic
Center,
that's
a
little
more
exciting
Pole!
That's
that
Swim
Center
is
10
years
old
now
and
that
has
two
separate
pools,
the
one
we
call
it
more
of
a
warm
water
pool.
It
has
a
huge
slide.
The
kids
slide
a
couple
umbrellas
it's
flat
out
water
and
everything
else,
and
and
has
some
lanes
to
teach
lessons
and
for
the
seniors
to
swim
as
well.
So
that's
kept
that
a
little
warmer
temperature
and
then
we
also
have
a
lap
swim
as
well.
B
So
we
have
you
know
during
the
school
year
will
have
the
swim
teams
from
high
schools
practice.
We
have
a
youth
team
to
play
practices
there
as
well,
but
on
the
weekends,
it's
it
usually
fills
up,
packed
you
get
to
our
swim
sessions
where
you
come
and
swim
there
and
but
swimming
is
a
great
exercise
and
also
I
left
out
at
the
Annapolis
poll.
You
guys
bring
every
fifth
grader
in
the
county
comes
in
for
drown,
proofing
and
another
partnership
that
we
have
where
you
eat.
You
know
you
have
it
pretty
much.
B
A
A
And
I
think
it's
so
unique
because
it
is
every
5th
grade
student
in
Anne,
Arundel
County
is
able
to
learn
swim
safety
or
water
safety.
Really
I!
Guess
you
know
what
happens
if
you
fall
in
how
to
be
safe
around
the
pool?
It's
really
amazing.
You
know
what
we
offer
all
of
the
students
and
how
you're
partners
with
us
on
that
No.
B
A
A
great
program
and
I'm
excited
in
the
second
half
to
talk
about
our
fun
and
food
segments,
because
I
think
that's
the
unique
partnership
that
we
have,
that
I,
don't
think
a
lot
of
other
counties
or
other
agencies
have
so.
Thank
you
very
much.
Don't
go
away
we're
going
to
be
right
back
after
the
break
to
talk
about
the
fun
and
the
food
in
Anne
Arundel
County,
which
is
recreation
parks
and
Anne
Arundel
County,
Public,
Schools,
hi.
C
When
a
school
bus
stops
to
load
students
as
a
driver,
this
is
what
you
will
see
at
150
feet.
The
bus
will
activate
hazard
lights
at
a
hundred
feet.
The
bus
driver
will
activate
the
amber
lights,
they
will
start
slowing
down
at
ten
feet
before
the
bus
stops.
They
will
turn
on
the
red
bus
lights,
their
stop
sign
will
come
out
and
students
will
begin
to
load
once
all
students
are
on
board
safely.
The
bus
driver
will
turn
off
red
lights
and
move
forward
at
this
time.
It
is
safe
for
the
motorists
to
resume
movement.
A
We
both
believe
it
and
we
go
back
years
on
the
programs
where
we've
connected
food
and
fun,
so
you
briefly
touch
base
on
it,
but
I
really
want
to
showcase
it,
because
it's
new
for
us
is
win/win
school's
out
for
one
of
the
holidays
or
the
winter
break
or
the
spring
break.
We
started
something
new
this
year,
where
we
offer
a
snack
at
the
Swim
centers.
How
do
you
see
this
snack
there
when
your
students
are
coming
or
when
children
from
the
community
are
coming?
How
does
that
really
change
the
atmosphere
for
you
or
what?
B
Have
a
snack,
the
value
is
fantastic.
Now
the
kids,
obviously
they're
excited
be
with
friends,
and
you
know:
they'll
go
swim
out
there
for
a
couple
hours,
but
they
look
for
they
do
really
look
to
relax
and
chill
out
and
what
they
eat
is
very
important
to
them.
You
know
there
are
some
kids
it
might
you
know
this
is
my
opinion
I'm,
not
an
expert
on
food.
You
know
where
to
put
the
kids,
you
know
they're
out
and
have
fun,
but
they
want
to
relax.
B
They
know
they
have
to
relax
and
what
they
eat
is
important
and
they're
smart
about
it.
They're,
smarter,
I
think
than
what
we
think
and
it's
great
to
see
that
they're
having
a
good
and
healthy
meal.
I
know
the
parents
appreciate
it,
but
ultimately
I
think
they
appreciate
it
as
well,
and
we
all
love
good
good
snacks
and
meals.
It's.
A
Funny
because
they
are
more
savvy
anymore
and
we
see
it
in
the
school
meals
program
everywhere,
you
know
we're
looking
at
items
with
sriracha
sauce
and
you
know
different
Asian
profile.
I
mean
it's
just
amazing.
The
flavor
profile
is
what
we
changed.
Roasted
vegetables.
We
have
every
roasted
vegetable,
you
can
imagine
now
on
the
menu.
So
it's
really
neat
to
do
these
school
break
days
and
we
were
often
asked
right.
I
mean
how
do
you
do
these
meals
or
you
know?
A
How
are
you
allowed
to
and
it's
all
for
the
United
States
Department
of
Agriculture,
so
they
have
a
program
and
it's
based
on
free
and
reduced
price
and
the
eligibility
of
that
area.
So
it
was
so
nice
a
few
years
ago
and
I
remember
our
first
discussion
like
it
was
yesterday
right.
We
sat
down
and
we
said
we
think
we
have
free
meals
for
summer
and
you
have
students.
What
could
we
do?
They
know.
B
Hear
right,
she's
gonna
help
provide
us
meal
in
our
title.
One
areas
and
you
know
I,
went
around
the
office
and
told
staff
our
supervisors
that
you
know
directly
oversee
the
programs
and
there's
I
said
look.
This
is
what
they're
talking
about
doing
they
said.
Are
you
sure,
Franklin
I
said
I
know
Jodi.
She
does
very
well
with
the
food
I.
Think
that's
what
she
said
so
I
called
you
back.
I
said:
are
you
really
saying
this
and
she
did
it's
been
a
fantastic
partnership.
B
You
know,
I,
don't
know
how
the
number
of
exactly
how
many
meals
I
know
it's
probably
in
the
thousands
of
how
many
meals
that
that
last
summer,
that
you
guys
provided
for
us,
but
just
think
about
that.
You
know.
Maybe
half
of
those
kids
wouldn't
have
gotten
a
meal
at
all.
Their
parents
might
not
have
had
time
to
get
from
the
meal
or
something
like
that.
So
you
provided
thousands
of
meals
to
kids.
That
would
not
have
gotten
meals.
That's
that's
on
that's
unreal.
A
I'm,
sorry,
we,
you
know,
we
grow
those
meals
every
year
too
and
I
think
it's
because
of
you.
It's
your
division.
What
your
Recreation
and
Parks
does
for
the
community
to
bring
them
in
I
mean
we
have
the
food,
but
we
don't
have
the
kids
summers
out
the
bell
rang.
You
know
our
students
left
for
the
summer.
Well,.
B
Our
programs,
the
programs
we
do
throughout
the
year
and
in
the
summer
they're
not
very
expensive
they're.
You
know
we
do
charge
and
you
know
we
have
to
pay
that
we
don't
make
money
on
the
programs
but
we'd
like
them
to
pay
for
themselves.
So
they're
reasonably
priced,
so
you
know
we're
getting.
You
know
the
citizens
that
are
certainly
tight
on
their
money
and
you
know
providing
of
free
meals.
You
know
we
were
those
the
programs
we're
filling
up.
First
now
so.
A
B
A
I
think
it's
funny
cuz,
you
do
get
the
questions
from
parents
right,
I
know,
I
even
get
them
on
the
food
side,
so
we're
gonna
send
them
to
camp.
They
get
enrichment,
they
get
physical
activity,
they're
able
to
do
arts
and
crafts.
I
mean
it's
just
amazing
what
you
provide
and
they
get
a
free
breakfast
and
a
free
lunch.
So
it's
really
again:
it's
like
a
match
made
in
you
know
having
it
was
just
perfect.
It
was
a
perfect
blending
of
two
divisions
to
make
the
right
result
for
our
students
and.
B
And
I
got
a
compliment.
Your
food
services
program,
I
mean
the
meals,
are
good
meals,
so
and
that's
I,
think
that's
the
important
thing:
if
you're
giving
them
junk
and
not
healthy
meals,
ultimately
you're
doing
nothing
but
we're
providing
good
tasting
and
healthy
meals,
and
you
can't
get
any
better
than
that
and.
A
After
school
I
know
we'll
go
back
and
talk
about
summer,
but
for
the
after
school
meals,
it's
so
nice
cuz.
You
know
you
have
the
school-age
child
care
so
we're
able
to
provide
them
a
dinner
meal.
Their
dinner
is
a
lean
protein.
We
do
a
fruit
and
a
vegetable,
they
get
a
whole
grain
in
a
choice
of
milk.
A
So
again
it's
it's
very
similar
to
the
food
items
they
see
during
the
day,
but
a
little
bit
quicker
for
them
to
eat,
because
we
don't
have
as
much
time
in
the
you
know
that
dinner
hour,
but
it's
so
nice
that
they're
comfortable
at
the
school
they're
comfortable
with
the
meals
they
know.
They're
nutritious-
and
we
know
they're
fueled
for
fun.
For
you
and.
B
A
Looks
like
this
year,
Franklin
and
you
know
each
year,
we've
grown
with
our
dinner
meals
but
I
think
we'll
top
175,000
dinner
meals,
which
just
a
handful
of
years
ago.
We
need
do
any.
So
it's
amazing
and
I
think
on
the
summer.
I
feel
that
same
way
that
we
started
slow
and
both
of
us.
Probably
like
wonder
if
this
is
going
to
work
and
now
it's
how
much
more
can
we
do
for
the
community?
Where
else
can
we
place
like.
B
A
Well,
I
know
even
the
other
day
we
had
a
conversation
because
we
were
saying
farmers,
market
and
access
to
healthy
food,
and
how
do
we
get
our
our
populations
that
might
not
have
access
right
to
a
farmers
market
or
to
fresh
fruits
or
vegetables?
So
we're
already
contemplating
some
of
that
and
I
think
we'll
see
some
changes
than
that
in
Anne,
Arundel
County
in
the
near
future.
Well,.
B
We're
excited
about
your
market
that
you're
going
to
have
it
Brooklyn
Park
this
summer,
I
attended
a
community
Hope
meeting.
You
know
really
looking
to
do
more
in
the
county
to
do
more
for
the
Brooklyn
Park
area.
So
when
I
told
everybody
that
they
were
very
excited
about
that
and
we're
looking
forward
to
being
a
participant
and
doing
some
purchasing,
that's.
A
And
it's
amazing
because
where
you
have
programming
is
where
our
title,
one
schools
or
our
high
free
and
reduced-price
schools
would
be,
and
then
that's
where
we're
looking
the
farmer
market
should
be
there.
Our
mobile
meals
for
summer
should
be
there
and
you've
taken
it
extra
step
of.
Where
do
we
not
have
a
program
for
summer
and
let's
place
the
program
in
that
area?
Right.
B
B
A
Neat
I
think
there's
excitement
and
passion
I
think
every
time
I
call
you
you
know
so.
I
do
I
mean
and
I
think
we
talk
off
and
write
like
hey,
Franklin
I
think
we
have
a
new
idea
or-
and
it's
vice
versa.
You
know
you're
looking
here's
what
I
can
do
for
this
group
of
students
or
this
community.
That
really
doesn't
have
anything
right
now,
so
I
think
for
any
viewer
watching
they've
got
to
folks
in
around
the
county,
public
schools
and
Recreation
and
Parks.
A
B
A
A
How
about
let's
talk
about
a
turf
field?
Can
we
talk
about
turf,
because
I
think
again
somebody
watching
the
way
like
well
how
odd
food-for-thought
are
we
talking
about?
What
else
does
Recreation
and
Parks
do?
How
does
that
work
in
our
county?
For
those
of
us
using
stadiums
or
turf,
is
that
yours
is
that.
B
Yeah,
we're
I
was
very
involved
in
the
project,
but
the
previous
county
executive
saw
the
the
stadium
fields.
Your
stadium
fields
were
used
for
gaming
events
for
football
and
and
lacrosse,
and
that
was
primarily
it
and
you
have
beautiful
stands
lights
field.
Great
parking
lots.
We
were
saying
you
know:
maybe
we
could
work
something
out
and
it
was
frustrating
I
know
cheer
athletic
directors
and
maintaining
a
quality
field
there
and
they
were
spending
a
lot
of
money.
B
So
when
the
turf
field
age
came
back
and
they
became
more
of
a
safe,
safer
field,
the
county
got
together.
We
use
program,
open
space,
money
and
Recreation
and
Parks
funded
the
one
turf
field
at
each
at
each
high
school
in
the
keep
up
with
high
school
in
the
county.
So
each
school
now
has
one
and
we're
excited
to
hear
that
you're
building
others
South
River
now
has
to
Annapolis
has
three
there
and
basically
are
you.
Sports
programs
for
boys
and
girls
across
in
the
and
junior
leagues
play
all
their
games
on
the
turf
fields.
B
So
we
don't
have
to
worry
about
rain
outs.
There's
few
lightning
storms
here
and
there
that
we
can't
play
in,
but
the
rain
outs
come
in
and
now
they're
playing
it
beautiful
green
fields
and
you
know
safer
and
it's
worked
out.
Fantastic
I
thought
was
somebody
the
other
day
about
youth
field
hockey
in
this
county.
You
know
when
I
started
program
20
years
ago.
It
was
very
difficult
to
get
quality
fields
and
if
you've
ever
played
field
hockey
before
to
play
field
hockey
on
a
field,
that's
no
good.
B
It
doesn't
really
work
so
you're
losing
interest
and
everything
now
we're
playing
these
games
on
turf
fields
or
the
level.
You
know
it's
a
smooth
bounce
and
you
can
see
the
success
has
rolled
over
to
our
high
school
teams
and
it's
just
been
fantastic
and
some.
You
know
another
partnership
that
we've
had
together.
The
Board
of
Ed
does
all
the
maintaining
of
those
fields.
Now
so
really
the
fields
have
turned
over
to
the
Board
of
Ed,
but
we
have
an
agreement
usage
that
we
worked
out
together
that
that
works
as
a
win-win
situation.
A
A
You,
as
you
can
see,
Anne
Arundel,
County,
Recreation
and
Parks,
an
Anne
Arundel,
County
Public
Schools
are
truly
creating
healthy
students,
healthy
schools
and
we're
really
cultivating
communities
of
wellness.
If
you
have
any
questions
about
the
food
for
thought
or
any
of
the
school
meals
in
Anne,
Arundel
County,
please
call
me
at
4:10
to
2
to
5,900
thanks
again
for
watching
and
I'll,
see
you
again
next
time.
