B
2022-2023.
once
again
welcome
everyone,
Wiley
Baker
with
you
here
we
have
got
a
huge
crew
from
Anne
Arundel,
County,
Public
Schools
television
here,
and
you
can
hear
the
cheering
going
on
in
the
background.
These
teams
are
ready
to
go
and
we
are
in
for
a
tremendous
event
again
this
year
and
history
made
as
we
finally
and
are
excited
to
have
play-by-play
here.
Yes,
we've
been
able
to
have
it
on
TV,
but
play
by
play.
I'll
give
you
my
best
shot
today
as
we
Splash
into
the
2023
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
swim
championships.
B
B
B
Looking
to
repeat
again,
of
course
you
have
powerhouses
like
Severna,
Park,
South,
River
and
Crofton,
but
you
just
never
know
there
might
be
a
dark
horse
coming
in
to
the
top
one
two
or
three
spots
this
year,
so
we'll
have
about
half
of
the
22
events
and
then,
after
about
half
of
those
we'll
have
a
15-minute
breather,
all
the
folks
to
my
left
will
be
gathering
up,
totals
we'll
get
them
to
you
as
we
get
them.
But
let's
thank
Eric,
Lloyd,
Chris,
Carl,
Taylor,
Thomas,
of
course,
Clayton
Culp,
Steve
Gray.
B
So
many
folks
involved
not
just
the
guy
in
front
of
the
camera,
and
we
really
appreciate
you
joining
us
and,
of
course,
you'll
be
able
to
pick
this
up
on
demand.
One
thing
that
I
thought
that
was
unique
and
I
love
watching
swimming
during
the
Olympics
during
the
medleys.
You
obviously
know
that
the
backstroke
comes
first,
but
I
found
out
something
new.
Today
you
always
learn
something
new,
even
in
my
39th
year
of
sports
casting
and
doing
21
Sports
on
radio
and
TV.
This
was
exciting
to
know
during
the
medleys.
B
All
four
events
occur
and
they're
in
alphabetical
order.
How
about
that?
So
it's
backstroke,
breaststroke,
butterfly
and
freestyle
and
of
course,
in
the
freestyle
relays,
it
will
be
just
the
freestyle
which
some
of
you
would
know
if
you're
beginning
the
doggy
paddle.
Well,
it's
more
than
the
doggy
paddle
I
mean
these
swimmers
work
hard,
not
only
in
the
pool
but
out
of
the
pool.
B
These
swimmers
work
hard
because
they
only
get
a
certain
amount
of
hours
in
the
pool,
whether
it's
at
the
Arundel
Swim
Center,
whether
it's
at
the
North
Arundel
Aquatic
Center,
where
we'll
have
Old
Mill
swimming
on
athletes
in
action
or
whether
it's
at
the
Y
in
Pasadena,
so
so
many
a
great
swim,
centers
and
another
one
potentially
on
the
horizon.
We'll
leave
you
on
the
limb
there
with
that.
So
here's
the
Slate
of
events
we'll
have
the
men's,
200
yard.
And
yes,
we
do
go
by
yards,
not
by
meters
the
men's
200
yard.
B
Medley
relay
will
open
us
up,
followed
by
the
women's
200
yard.
Medley
relay
that'll
be
followed
by
the
men's
200-yard
freestyle
and
the
women's
200-yard
freestyle.
We
will
then
have
the
men's
200-yard
individual
medley,
the
women's
200-yard
individual
medley,
then
the
men's
and
women's
back-to-back
50-yard
freestyle.
B
After
that
we
will
go
to
the
butterfly
the
men's
and
women's
100
yard,
butterfly
men's
and
women's
100
yard
freestyle
will
follow
that.
Then
we
will
have
the
men's
and
women's
500
yard
freestyle.
That
will
be
very,
very
interesting.
That's
basically,
like
your
mile
run
folks
going
back
and
forth
in
the
25-yard
pool
a
lot
of
times.
Folks
do
do
the
math
there
20
times,
then
we'll
have
the
men's
and
women's
200
yard
freestyle
relays.
So
that
will
be
really
intriguing.
The
relay
is
always
interesting
same
as
indoor
or
outdoor
track.
B
The
relays
are
always
a
lot
of
fun
and
then
we'll
have
the
men's
and
women's
100
yard
backstroke,
followed
by
the
men's
and
women's
100
yard
breast
stroke
and
then
we'll
round
up
the
evening
with
what
might
be
the
point
differentials
here
in
the
winners
of
first
second
and
third,
the
gold,
the
bronze
and
the
gold,
the
silver
and
the
bronze
should
I
say
with
the
men's,
400
yard,
freestyle
relay
and
the
women's
400
yard
freestyle
relay.
B
So,
as
I
mentioned
last
year,
Broadneck
was
the
champion
of
this
event
in
both
the
boys
and
the
girls
and
Broadneck
last
year
won
the
first
two
events,
the
both
200-yard
medley
relays
for
the
men's
and
the
women's
Broadneck
also
took
first
in
the
women's
400
yard.
Freestyle
relay
so
again.
Those
are
big
points
for
the
teams
here
today
and
let's
go
ahead
and
mention
our
teams
here
today
our
great
Anne
Arundel
County,
Public
Schools.
We
have
Annapolis
and
head
coach
Al
Gruber
a
Rundle
head
coach,
Rachel
Miller.
B
We
have
Broadneck
a
good
friend
of
mine,
Colleen
Winans
As,
the
head
coach,
another
good
friend
of
mine.
It
is
Brian
Nelson
and
Chesapeake.
We
have
Crofton
and
Catherine
golly.
We
have
Glen
Burnie
and
Jen
bistrack
Mead
and
Cara
Blair.
We
have
North
County
with
Cassandra
McLemore
Northeast
and
their
head
coach,
Anne-Marie,
Kidwell,
Old
Mill.
Well,
as
I
mentioned,
they'll
be
featured
on
Athletes
In,
Action,
Ellen
Hayes.
We
wave
to
you
and
say
hi
and
hope
that
you
continue
to
get
better.
B
Coach
Hayes
is
on
IR,
so
her
assistant
coach,
a
real
good
one,
Katie
Barry
is
here
today
to
lead
the
show
for
Old
Mill
for
Severna
Park,
Paul
Lofgren
for
South
River,
their
head
coaches,
Laura
Falcone,
and
for
southern
head
coach,
Jen
James.
Oh,
we
are
looking
forward
to
a
great
2023
Anne
Arundel
County,
Public
Schools
swim
championship
event.
Here
again,
we
are
live
from
the
Arundel
Swim
Center
in
Annapolis
Maryland
and
we're
excited
for
this
event
tonight.
B
For
the
majority
of
the
events,
we
will
have
multiple
Heats.
So
again,
the
swimmers
are
not
necessarily
just
trying
to
win
their
heat
they're,
trying
to
get
the
best
time
possible.
So
in
heat,
one
of
two
in
the
200
yard,
medley
relay
for
the
men,
North
County
will
be
racing
against
Northeast,
Mead
and
Glen
Burnie,
so
North
County
will
be
in
Lane.
Three
Northeast
will
be
in
lane.
Four
Mead
will
be
in
Lane
five
and
Glen
Burnie
in
Lane
six.
B
So
then
heat
two
will
feature
all
eight
Lanes
Chesapeake
will
be
in
Lane
one
and,
as
you
see
on
your
screen,
Lane
one
is
going
to
be
nearest
to
us.
So
Lane
one
Chesapeake
will
be
nearest
to
us,
followed
by
Arundel
as
we
go
further
away:
Savannah
Park
South
River
in
lane
four
Broadneck
in
Lane,
five
Annapolis
in
Lane,
six
Crofton
in
Lane,
seven
and
Old
Mill
in
Lane
eight.
B
B
B
B
Let's
again
take
a
look
last
year
as
we
take
a
look
at
the
standings
in
the
women's
team,
totals
Broadneck
with
284
points,
Severna
Park
with
265
and
then
Annapolis
with
167
South
River,
with
166
for
the
top
four,
the
men's
side
of
things
Broadneck
with
270
points
again
to
take
the
gold
medal
for
the
Bruins
South
River
took
the
silver
with
244
points.
It
was
Severna
Park
with
223
points
for
the
bronze
and
Croft
and
finished
in
fourth
with
159
points.
B
Will
it
work
out
that
way
this
year
we
will
see
after
the
next
few
hours
here
as
we
are
live
at
the
Arundel
Swim
Center,
the
historic
Arundel
Swim
Center
here
in
Annapolis
Maryland
right
next
to
Annapolis,
High
School
excited
you
could
join
us
again
tonight.
The
teams
have
their
places
set
around
the
pool
and
we
are
just
about
ready
to
go
here
with
our
championships
again.
22
events,
16
individual
events,
six
relays
and
here's
how
the
points
are
scored.
B
Four
individual
Events,
first
place
gets
16
points.
Second
place
gets,
13.
third
place
gets
12..
Fourth,
place
gets
11.
fifth
place
gets
ten
sixth
place
gets
nine
Seventh
Place.
Well,
that's
an
easy
one.
They
get
seven
eighth
place
gets
five
Ninth
Place
gets
four
tenth
gets.
Three
eleventh
gets
two
and
Twelfth
gets
one
relay
points.
I
mentioned
they're
gigantic.
B
It's
double
the
amount
of
points
so
for
first
place,
32
big
points
if
you
win
a
relay
26,
if
you're
in
second
24
in
third
22
and
fourth,
twenty
for
fifth
18
for
sixth
14
for
seventh
ten
for
eighth,
eight
for
ninth,
four
six
for
tenth
place,
four
for
eleventh
and
two
for
twelve,
so
32
points
up
for
grabs
right
away
in
this
one.
B
I'll
tell
you
what
it
is
a
packed
house
over
here
to
my
right,
my
goodness,
a
sellout,
not
a
shock,
I,
want
to
say
a
big
shout
out
to
John
our
scorer
and
timer
with
his
whole
crew
to
my
left,
my
crew.
Over
here
to
my
right.
As
here
we
go
the
men's,
open,
200-yard,
medley
relay
North
County
in
Lane,
three
Northeastern
Lane,
four
Mead
in
Lane
five
and
Glen
Burnie
in
Lane.
Six,
and
here
we
go.
B
B
And
in
Lane
five,
it
is
me
surging
out
to
about
a
two
body.
Length
lead
into
the
water
goes
the
second
swimmer
from
backstroke
we
go
to
breaststroke
and
really
stretching
out.
The
lead
for
Mead
is
Paige
Wells,
we're
working
on
last
names
here.
Folks,
just
to
let
you
know,
Mead
hits
the
wall
first,
with
North
County
in
second
and
hitting
the
wall.
Third
is
Northeast.
B
Making
some
ground
here,
North
County,
cutting
the
big
lead
about
a
four
body
length
lead
and
my
goodness,
hitting
the
wall
for
north
county
is
brown
rigged
and
North
County
surges
into
the
lead.
In
lane.
Two
pardon
me
Lane
three
North
County
again.
The
third
leg
is
butterfly
up
and
back
two
times
that's
50
yards.
B
B
Closely
in
second
place,
Severna
Park,
as
both
teams
hit
the
wall
Broadneck
ahead
by
about
a
half
a
body
length
in
third.
It
is
a
dead
heat
in
Lane,
two
and
Lane,
seven
between
a
Rundle
and
Crofton,
hitting
the
wall
first
and
on
the
turn,
it's
Broadneck
in
Lane,
five
again
we're
working
on
the
breaststroke.
The
second
leg,
Severna
Park
in
Lane
three
is
in
second
and
quickly
in
third
moving.
A
B
Lane
two
is
a
Rundle
Broadneck
still
with
the
lead,
by
about
two
body
lengths
in
second
Severna
Park
in
Lane
three
in
lane
two,
it
is
a
Rundle
and
on
the
final
turn
of
the
butterfly,
it's
brought
next
to
it,
the
lead
and
into
the
water
first
for
the
freestyle,
it
is
Broadneck
as
a
big
lead
now
Owen
Mahoney
in
the
final
stretch
here
for
Broadneck,
he
hits
the
wall.
First.
Second
place
is
Severna
Park.
B
B
B
B
B
B
Pardon
me
in
Lane
six
should
I
say
it
is
Northeast.
Old
Mill
has
surged
into
the
lead
by
a
couple
of
body,
lengths,
Glenn
Bernie
in
second
and
quickly,
coming
up
in
third
in
Lane
five
Lane
six
should
I
say
that
is
Northeast
Old
Mill
really
pulling
out
with
a
half
a
pool
length
lead
now.
Surging
into
second
place,
is
Northeast
Glen,
Burnie
in
third
and
then
Southern
and
then
Mead.
B
B
Southern
is
being
challenged
by
need
for
the
fourth
spot
and
Old
Mill
hits
the
wall
and
they're
into
the
freestyle
Huffman
for
Old
Mill
in
heat,
one
of
two
of
the
Women's
Open
200-yard
medley
relay
and
it
looks
old
like
Old
Mill,
is
going
to
bring
this
one
home
pulling
out
into
second
is
Northeast.
Third
is
Glen
Burnie,
but
I
tell
you
what
don't
shut
down
me
jet
Mead
catching
up
to
Glen
Burnie,
potentially
for
the
third
as
Old
Mill
wins
Heat
number
one
with
a
time
of
214-60.
B
B
Arundel
Crofton
South
River,
Annapolis,
Broadneck,
Severna
Park,
and
it
looks
like
Severna
Park
into
the
back
into
the
brush
stroke.
First
in
Lane,
six
But
Here
Comes
Broadneck
in
Lane,
five
and
also
Annapolis
in
lane
four
last
year
it
was
Broadneck
Severna,
Park,
Annapolis
and
they're
right
there
once
again,
Broadneck
by
a
half
a
body
length.
Annapolis
has
surged
into
second
place
in
Lane
three
and
Severna
Park
in
third
in
Lane
six
into
the
water
first
well
Broadneck
in
an
epicent
Annapolis
into
the
lead
for
just
a
second.
B
B
B
B
Our
third
event
is
the
men's,
open,
200
yard
freestyle
won
last
year
by
crofton's
Luke
Corey.
He
will
be
in
heat
three
of
three
in
Lane
five,
but
to
start
things
off
in
the
three
Heats
it'll
be
Owen
Smith
in
Lane,
three
from
Glen
Burnie
it'll
be
old,
Mill's,
Oliver
spranger
in
lane
four
and
old
Mill's
Noah
Samuel
in
Lane
five,
just
three
swimmers
in
this
one
200
yards
again
with
a
25-yard
pool.
B
As
we
visited
Old
Mill
at
the
North
Arundel
Aquatic
Center
again,
we
are
live
at
the
Arundel
Swim
Center
in
Annapolis
for
the
2023
Anne
Arundel
County,
Public,
Schools,
swim
championships
so
glad
you
could
join
us
Springer
with
a
nice
smooth
stroke
for
a
freshman
as
he
hits
the
wall
and
will
make
the
turn
towards
the
home
stretch.
Here.
B
But
barely
ahead
right
now,
Alexander
Wright
of
Annapolis
hitting
the
wall
third
is
going
to
be
Gabriel
Parker
of
Annapolis
hitting
fourth
will
be
Kyle
Elliott
of
North
County
hitting
fifth
will
be
William
Oaks
of
Arundel
and
sixth
Eric
Pham
Calvin
engbright
for
a
Rundle
in
Lane,
eight
and
Carter
page
wells
in
Lane.
One
trying
to
stay
in
the
running.
B
In
second
now,
moving
into
second,
it's
Jack
deppy
of
South
River
Nate
Decker
in
third.
In
lane
four
th
place
in
Lane.
Six
is
Owen
Mahoney
a
Broadneck,
and
it
is
loud
in
the
Arundel
Swim
Center,
my
goodness,
oh
first
and
pulling
a
little
further
away
again
is
last
year's
Champion
Luke
Corey
of
Crofton.
Can
he
win
it
again?
Look
at
the
Battle
for
second
place
as
Luke
Corey
hits
the
wall
first
second
place
in
lane.
B
B
Which
that
one
was
as
here
we
go,
the
ladies
are
off
barely
a
breath.
Do
we
get
Women's
Open
200
meter,
200
yard
I
knew
I
was
going
to
do
that.
Eric
Lloyd,
200
yard
freestyle.
We
even
talked
about
it.
The
other
night
Heat
number
one
in
lane,
two
Lauren
Marshall
of
Southern
Lane,
three
Alice
Perry
Walsh
of
Glen
Barney
Lane,
four
of
north
county
is
Emily
Hood
Lane,
five
Glenn
Bernie's
Tania
Terry
Lane,
six
Taylor
price
of
North
County
in
Lane.
Seven
out
of
Southern
is
Lillian
Martin
early
on
in
lane
four.
B
B
B
B
And
now
in
Lane,
five
taking
the
lead,
it's
Ellie
Carris
of
Arundel
as
she
hits
the
wall
first
to
the
final
up
and
back
Karis
now
leading
by
a
half
of
body
length,
but
in
third
in
lane
four
is
Ava
strong
of
Crofton
and
strong
is
finishing
strong,
but
hitting
the
wall.
First
in
Lane,
five
is
Ellie
Carris
of
Arundel.
B
Just
to
the
top
of
the
screen
from
her
in
second,
but
maybe
not
is
McGonagall
of
South
River.
It's
going
to
be
a
battle
for
second,
as
first
place
is
Ellie
Karis,
second,
by
only
five
tenths
of
us.
What
should
I
two
tenths
of
a
second
in
second
is
Ava
strong
in
lane
four
of
Crofton
and
in
third,
it
is
Ellie
Sage
McGonagall
of
South
River,
2,
16
79.

Iris

as
the

all
hit
the

and
then
there's
are
in
their
second
up
and
back
of
four
again.
The
pool
25
yards
in
length,
so
an
up
and
back
would
be
50..
B
B
A
battle
for
the
top
spot
in
Lanes
three
and
four:
that's
Macy
Ryder
at
Broadneck
and
Cameron
Reigns
of
Severna
Park,
as
they
come
back
parallel
with
us
here
at
Anne,
Arundel,
County,
Public,
Schools
television
in
Lane.
Oh
man,
I
tell
you
really
close
in
lane.
Four
Reigns
of
Severna
Park,
barely
over
Ryder
and
I,
mean
barely
a
battle
for
third
in
Lanes
five
and
six
between
Evie
Hopkins
and
Broadneck
and
Sophia
Vu
of
Severna
Park,
as
the
crowd
gets
loud
down
the
stretch,
a
battle
for
first
and
a
battle
for
third
Lane.
B
B
B
We
will
see
it
all
as
we
go
further
from
the
screen:
Phillip
Bradford
of
Northeast
in
Lane,
three,
a
pair
of
Annapolis
teammates
in
Lanes,
four
and
five
Caleb
lenham
and
Jacob
Padgett
at
Lane.
Six
will
be
Lucas
Fernandez
of
North
County
and
Lane.
Seven
s
Kyle
Lynch.
B
B
B
B
Let's
go
ahead
and
do
the
rundown
Lane
one
nearest
to
us:
Caden
Smith
of
Severna
Park
Lane,
two
Nate
ratty
of
South
River
Lane,
three
Jack
harada
of
Broadneck
Lane
Forge.
We
just
mentioned
Grant
Murphy
of
Crofton
Lane,
five
Patrick
siona
of
Severna
Park
Lane,
six
Jack
Clark
of
Broadneck
Lane,
seven
Murphy's
teammate
from
Crofton
Braden
Severin
and
in
Lane
eight
it'll
be
South
Rivers,
Josh
Lane.
He
has
a
you,
have
a
full
start,
so
we
will
give
it
another
go
here.
Our
first
fall
start
of
the
night.
That's
actually
pretty
good.
B
C
B
Sweat
the
sweat
the
night
away
up
here.
Gotta
love
it,
though
better
than
being
out
in
whether
that's
in
the
teens
Outdoors
hope
you're
enjoying
this
as
much
as
we
are
so
again,
it's
the
butterfly
first
could
always
tell
us
the
Butterfly
by
the
Big
Arm
Strokes,
for
those
of
you
new
to
swimming
and
hitting
the
wall
first
in
lane,
four
is
Grant
Murphy
trying
to
go
back
to
back
as
into
the
backstroke.
It
is
Murphy
a
dead
heat
per
second
surround
him.
That's
Jack,
harada
of
Broadneck
and
Patrick
siona
of
Severna
Park.
B
A
B
Tell
you
what
the
battle
for
seventh
and
eighth
was
tight.
Good
gracious,
actually,
sixth
and
seventh
was
tight.
Pardon
me
in
Lane,
one
finishing
sixth,
only
12
hundredths
of
a
second
ahead
was
Kaden
Smith
of
Severna
Park
over
Nate
ratty
of
South
River,
218-26
and
218-38.
That
was
pretty
exciting
down
the
stretch,
but
Grant
Murphy
back-to-back
County
championships
won
54-11
is
the
champion
harada
at
159-56
and
he's
out
of
broad
neck
and
Severna
Parks
siona
finishing
third.
B
B
B
I
can
tell
you
when,
when
we
in
our
County
lost
gymnastics,
I
really,
obviously
that's
one
of
my
favorite
Olympic
sports
to
watch
so
to
have
swimming
become
one
of
the
bigger
Sports
here
in
Anne.
Arundel
County
is
gigantic
and
if
you
saw
the
Arundel
swim
center
right
now,
it
is
absolutely
packed.
You
can
see
the
walls
as
Annapolis
is
Aaron.
Bauer
wins
Heat
number
one
with
a
time
of
306-13.
B
That'll
be
the
time
to
beat
Alyssa

Lane
three
pardon
me
finishes

and
finishing
third:
in

in

four
is
Lily

coming

seven

Capps
of

as
the

go
into
the

and
now
in

five
coming
up
quickly.
It's
Molly
Ralph
of
Annapolis
and
in
Lane

it's
Tatum

a

for

maybe
they'll

never

there
you
go,
it
could
have
named
it.
Sammy's

is
going
to

the

at

a

here
for

it's
going

in

Here
we
go
to
the

B
B

Craddock
of
Arundel
and
finishing
in
third
in
Lane,
five
at

Henry

so
the

to
Dean

the
silver
Gene
jubeck
out
of
Broadneck
Jeffrey
Craddock
in
second
out
of
Arundel

it's
Faith

four
Melissa

of

and
Lane
five,
her

B
B
B
All
right
what
a
beginning
we
have
had
our
first
half
of
our
2023
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
swim
championships
are
complete,
so
nobody
told
me
whether
this
break
is
for
the
timers
and
score
keepers
for
the
announcer
or
who
it's
for
I'm
gonna.
Guess
it's
for
the
announcer,
because
he
needs
a
break
holy
cow.
What
a
great
Championship
we've
had
hi
folks,
Wiley
Baker
with
you
here
and
again.
We
just
want
to
thank
so
many
folks
who
have
been
a
big
big
part
of
this
happening.
B
Of
course,
you
always
get
a
chance
to
see
it
because
the
great
folks
behind
the
scene,
my
producer,
my
director
and
cameraman
Eric
Cloyd
for
athletes
in
action
in
the
score,
is
right
behind
the
scenes
here
with
Chris
Cole
and
Taylor
Thomas,
a
big
thanks
to
our
bosses,
Clayton
Culp
and
Steve
Gray
John,
my
score
and
timer
over
here
to
my
left
and
his
crew,
and
just
so
much
Dr,
Mark
Bedell
is
going
to
be
in
the
house
for
the
second
half
of
the
event.
How
does
that
happen?
He's
so
busy?
B
B
So
our
new
superintendent
of
Anne
Arundel,
County,
Public,
Schools,
Dr
Mark
Bedell
on
his
way
over
I,
encourage
you
to
check
out
aacps
TV,
not
only
the
Sports
Programming
folks,
but
all
of
the
programming
on
aacps
TV,
I'm
so
proud
to
say,
I'm
the
host
of
athletes
in
action
in
the
score
with
my
partner,
Eric
Cloyd,
we
have
an
award-winning
show
and
we're
excited
about
that,
but
guess
what
we've
got
new
sports
on
wnav?
What
a
great
show
Katie
Holmes
hosts
the
next
level
check
it
out.
B
She's
got
a
huge
March,
Madness
special
coming
up.
She
just
interviewed
a
couple
of
great
student
athletes,
one
that
I
coached
Rashawn
Tung,
who
is
a
basketball
player
and
football
player
for
Chesapeake
High
School.
He
has
gotten
a
full
ride
to
be
a
Wake
Forest,
Demon
Deacon
down
in
Winston-Salem
North
Carolina.
He
will
be
a
defensive
back
down
there
for
what
was
a
top
25
team.
For
the
majority
of
this
past
season,
playing
football
down
at
Wake
Forest,
but
Liz
Foreman
who's
in
this
event
tonight
is
a
swimmer.
B
The
younger
sister
of
Natalie
Foreman,
who
was
on
the
show
The
Next
Level
with
Katie
so
again,
I,
encourage
you
and,
and
a
show,
that's
also
being
aired
as
well
is
one
where
there
was
a
Crofton
student
athlete
and
a
Glen
Burnie
student
athlete
and
they
get
like
a
little
trivia
show
question
thing
going
at
the
end
and
oh,
my
gosh,
it's
just
so
much
fun
to
watch
and
really
just
a
a
great
great
show
again
catch
Katie
Holmes,
the
next
level
on
aacps
TV
and
the
Anne
Arundel
County
Public,
Schools
YouTube
channel.
B
Everything
is
on
demand
and
again
there's
much
much
more
Way
Beyond
that
the
entire
crew.
Again,
we
thank
our
bosses.
Clayton
Culp,
my
immediate
boss,
Steve
Gray,
the
boss
down
in
media.
We
thank
them
so
much
for
just
being
so
on
board
for
everything
that
we
do
here
and
and
what
a
great
event
has
been
put
on
here
again,
you
talk
about
Clayton
cope.
You
talk
about
Chrissy,
Albright
and
Brian
Layman
and
all
the
great
folks
who
pieced
everything
together
the
cheerleading
championships
that
went
off
without
a
blink.
It's
incredible.
B
We've
got
Basketball
Championships
coming
up
February's
17th
and
18th
Friday
February

a
little
bit
of
a
stall
in
the
action
because
it
looked
like
there
was
maybe
a
violation
in
one
of
the
lanes
and
now
we're
ready.
B
Well,
I
tell
you
what!
If
we
did
replays
like
that
in
Pro
Sports,
the
games
would
be
over
yesterday
holy
man.
You
need
to
get
our
officials
here
at
Anne,
Arundel,
County,
Public,
Schools
championships
involved.
Here
we
go
right
in
the
middle.
In
lane,
four
taking
the
early
lead,
Griffin
Harris
of
South
River.
B
B
Big
big
swim
here
by
Griffin
Harris
as
he
hits
the
wall
before
everybody
else,
he's
got
about
a
three
body
length
lead
and
we'll
bring
this
one
home
in
the
100-yard
freestyle.
The
battle
is
for
second
and
Harris
hits
law
at
51-42
and
in
lane
two
coming
from
behind
Alexander
Wright
of
Annapolis
and
finishing
third
will
be
Connor

and
so
the
time
to
beat
is
51-42.
B
B
Let's
continue
on
Caitlin
dietch
out
of
Broadneck
who's

won
the

For
the

last

we
have
a

in

three.
It
is
Riley

of
Southern
in
Lane
five,
it
is
Maya
Chisholm
of
mead,
want
to
at
least
give
a
shout
out,
just
in
case
she
was
ill
and
not
able
to
participate
supposed
to
be
in
lane.
B
B
B
All
right
heat
to
a
four:
it's
Laura
Nielsen
out
of
Southern
she'll,
be
in
Lane
one
Sydney
Thatcher
Chesapeake
Lane,
two
kidney
Kennedy
Wilder
Glen,
Burnie
Lane,
three
Jayla
beavers
Northeast
Lane,
four
Madison
pit,
North
County
Lane,
five
Glenn
Bernie's,
Natalie
long
Lane,
six
and
Meads
Jasmine
cadinez
in
Lane,
seven
again
going
into
the
second
half
here,
I
guess
we
went
eight
and
we'll
be
going
with
another
14
again
22
events
before
the
break.
We
had
eight
of
the
14.
I'm.
B
That's
for
the
women
for
the
men
Broadneck,
also
in
the
lead,
with
a
101
points.
Crofton
90
going
into
this
last
14
events,
Severna
Park,
75
points
in
third
South
River
and
fourth
Arundel
in
fifth
Annapolis
and
sixth
North
County,
seventh
Old
Mill,
eighth,
Northeast
9th
meet
10th,
Chesapeake,
11th
and
Glen
Burnie
12th.
B
Heat
number
two
and
right
in
the
middle
Northeast,
Jayla
beavers
hits
the
50-yard
mark
first
and
she
is
in
lane
four
in
Lane.
Six
barely
in
second
is
Mattis.
Pardon
me
Natalie
long
of
Glenn,
Barney,
foreign.
B
She
is
comfortably
in
first,
a
relatively
comfortable.
Second
is
Natalie
long
of
Glen
Burnie
a
battle
for
third,
as
it
is
Jayla
beavers
in
lane
four
finishing
first,
it
is
Natalie
long
in
Lane,
six
finishing
second
and
in
Lane.
Three
finishing
third
is
Kennedy
Wilder
of
Glen
Burnie.
So
a
pair
of
gophers
there,
the
time
to
beat
107
48.
B
After
25.
wow
all
eight
ladies
right
in
the
running
in
lane
four,
it
is
Ellie
Carris
of
Arundel,
barely
in
the
lead,
a
dead
heat
for
second
in
Lanes,
two
and
three
Annelise
Harding
of
Arundel
and
Elizabeth
Sappington
of
South
River,
both
within
Striking
Distance,
as
hitting
the
wall
first,
but
just
by
a
quarter
of
a
length
in
lane,
four
is
Ellie
Carris
of
Arundel.
Can
she
finish
it
out?
B
She
stretches
out
her
lead
to
a
body
length,
maybe
a
body
length
and
a
half
a
huge
battle
for
second
in
Heat
number
three,
and
it
is
Karis
finishing
first
in
Lane,
one
finishing
second
coming
from
behind
Elena
Simonson
of
Old,
Mill
and
finishing
third
annalize
Harding
of
Arundel.
So
Harris's
time
to
beat
is
102.
B
Heat
number
four
Annapolis
teammates
in
Lanes
one
and
two
Lauren
Goulet
and
Nora
lenham
in
Lane
three
will
be
Severna:
Park
Sydney,
Sloan
Lane,
four
Mabel
zagowitz
of
Crofton
Lane,
five
Chloe
Gunn,
a
Broadneck,
her
teammate
Sarah
drebulbiz
is
in
Lane
six
Lane,
seven
we'll
have
Severna
Parks
Matt
Maggie,
Goodman
and
Lane.
Eight
will
have
South
Rivers
Isla
zlupco.
B
Hitting
the
wall
first
wow
hard
to
tell
barely
Lane
four
zagowitz
of
Crofton
she's
ahead
by
HEPA
body
length
over
Lane
fives
lawn
of
Broadneck,
hitting
the
wall
first
into
the
second
50..
It
is
Mabel
zegowitz
of
Crofton.
She
pulls
ahead
by
a
body
wave,
a
big
battle
for
second
place
in
Lanes
five
and
three:
that's
Chloe
lawn
and
Sydney
Sloan
out
of
Broadneck
in
Severna
Park,
respectively.
B
Still
with
a
body-length
lead,
it's
Mabel,
zagowitz
she's,
going
to
bring
it
home
for
the
corruption
Cardinals
and
take
the
gold
at
53-96.
The
silver
in
Lane,
five
will
be
Chloe
lawn
of
Broadneck
and
in
third
out
of
Severna.
Park
is
Sydney
Sloan
in
Lane,
three
53-96,
the
winning
time
by
Mabel
segowitz
second
place.
Chloe
won
at
56.07
and
in
third
Sydney
Sloan
out
of
Severna
Park
at
57.09.
B
B
Thank
you
so
much
Wiley
Baker
here
so
glad
that
you've
joined
us
and
wow.
What
a
tremendous
job
I
just
want
to
say:
I've
been
so
motivated
by
just
everything
that
you
have
had
going
on
on
aacps
TV
alone,
I
mean
just
the
kids
surrounding
you
and
the
warmth
that
you
brought
as
you've
started
as
our
superintendent
of
Anne
Arundel
County,
Public
Schools.
Thank
you
so
so.
E
E
So
I
was
on
the
verge
of
getting
ready
to
turn
on
some
Netflix
and
I
said:
I
said:
where
is
it
and
they
said?
Well,
it's
right
next!
Is
that
Annapolis
well
I'm
out
here
in
Annapolis?
Let
me
let
me
come
over
here
and
at
least
hang
out
for
about
an
hour
an
hour
and
a
half
and
just
kind
of
just
see
this.
For
the
first
time
and
I'm
telling
you
I'm
impressed
and
I'm
impressed
by
you,
you
you
got
me
excited
and
made
me
want
to
come
here.
Just
listening
to
you
well.
B
Thank
you
so
much
and
being
an
Old
Mill,
grad
myself,
you
know
it's
it's
about
paying
it
forward,
you
know
and
and
yeah
everybody
knows
me
as
an
Old
Mill
grad,
but
I'm
an
Annapolis
lover,
I'm,
an
Arundel
lover,
I'm,
a
Broadneck
lover,
I'm,
a
Chesapeake
lover,
I'm,
a
Glen
Burnie.
You
know
I
love
all
of
our
schools
and
that's
what
makes
it.
D
C
B
E
Look
I:
this
is
one
of
the
things
I've
said
to
people,
you
know,
being
a
superintendent
for
six
years
in
Kansas,
City
and
I
truly
believe
that
extracurriculars
truly
do
complement,
helping
to
develop
a
well-rounded
student
and
I
tell
people
like
Athletics,
and
these
extracurriculars
they're
Second
To
None.
When
it
comes
to
what
we
want
to
see
our
kids
do
academically
just
to
be
able
to
be
a
part
of
this
to
be
in
a
school
district
that
has
so
much
to
offer
to
students
to
even
look
down
here.
E
B
Here
with
Dr
Mark
Bedell,
our
Anne
Arundel
County,
public
schools,
superintendent
and
just
of
Arundel,
his
teammate
Connor
Ray
Delaney,
as
in
lane
two
one
and
two
right
there.
We
have
Ryan
melodic
of
Crofton
in
Lane,
three
Ike
condo
Severna
Park
Lane
for
Jared
Moran
of
South
River
in
Lane,
five
James
renain
of
Annapolis
in
Lane
six,
and
we
have
johannan.
E
And
I
guess
you
talking
to
somebody
who
who
ran
cross
country
both
in
in
high
school
and
in
college
and
now
in
my
in
my
I,
don't
know
on
the
other
side
of
my
life
here
from
an
age
standpoint,
I
I,
don't
think
I
could
even
run
a
mile
nonetheless
watching
them
out
here
do
what
they're
doing
in
this
water.
E
B
E
Well,
you
know:
I
lived
here
in
Anne,
Arundel
County
between
2012
and
2016..
When
we
moved
from
Houston,
Texas
and
I
was
working
in
Baltimore,
County
and
I
I
would
say
it's
it's
two
different
worlds
right
in
terms
of
what
we
have
out
here,
just
a
different
field
in
this
part
of
the
country
compared
to
the
Midwest,
with
your
land
locked
out
there
we're
not
landlocked
here.
We
have.
We
have
water
all
around
us.
The
seafood
is
phenomenal.
I
would
say
both
areas
have
good
food
but
on
a
different
scale.
E
Sure
Seafood
here,
barbecue
there
in
Kansas
City
but
I,
mean
I,
have
to
be
honest
with
you,
we're
back
here
in
this
part
of
the
country,
because
we
we,
my
wife
and
I,
are
making
this
home.
This
is
permanent
home
for
us
right.
We
just
love
this
part
of
the
country
because
of
all
of
the
access.
It's.
B
E
B
We've
got:
we've
got
two
Heats
in
our
500
yard
freestyle
here
which,
by
the
way
Luke
Corey
of
Crompton,
won
it
last
year.
Luke
is
going
to
be
in
Lane
five
of
heat
two,
so
we'll
have
to
see
if
he
can
go
back
to
back
for
the
new
Crofton
Cardinals.
How
about
these
new
schools
all
the
great
things
that
are
happening
not
only
on
TV
with
down
at
the
board
of
education?
B
But
you
know
we're
going
to
have
me
being
an
Old
Mill,
grad
near
and
dear
to
my
heart
that
we're
getting
a
new
school,
maybe
well,
two
new
schools
up
there,
a
new
Rippling
Woods,
which
is
where
I
went
to
school
as
well.
A
new
Old,
Mill,
North
and
Old
Mill
South
I
went
to
Old
Mill
North
I
mean
this
is
super,
exciting
and
I
know
you
have
a
whole
lot
more
on
the
horizon.
Yeah.
E
Absolutely
I
mean
it
just
shows
the
value
of
Education
from
our
County,
but
also
from
the
state
of
Maryland,
and
to
to
come
from
Kansas
City,
where
you
have
to
kind
of
go
out
and
fight
through
the
bonding
mechanisms
in
order
to
get
money
to
do
capital
projects.
It's
just
it's
two
different
worlds.
E
It's
just
two
different
worlds:
Raleigh
so
I
I
mean
I'm,
blessed
I,
don't
know
what
else
to
say
that
our
kids
have
access
to
the
type
of
amenities
that
I
think
every
kid
should
have
across
the
country
and,
like
you
said,
the
future
is
bright
here
with
all
of
the
different
things
we
want
to
do
from
a
strategic
planning
standpoint,
but
also
from
an
Innovative
standpoint.
E
B
So
let
me
just
stay
right
here
with
this
Dr
Bedell.
As
we
mentioned,
Jared
Moran
won
that
heat
at
5
22-45
out
of
South
River
he's
a
Seahawk
so
coming
up
in
heat,
two
that'll
be
the
time
to
beat
and
we'll
have
Tripp
Kennedy
out
of
South
River,
his
teammate
in
Lane,
one
in
lane,
two
it'll
be
seren
luta
of
Severna
Park
Lane
three
will
be
Cole
Haynes
of
Broadneck
Lane,
four
Owen
Mahoney
of
Broadneck
Lane
five
last
year's
gold,
medalist
Luke
Corey
of
Crofton.
B
He
won
it
last
year
as
a
junior
Lane,
six
will
be
Colton
Sears
of
North
County
Lane,
seven
Julian
rager
out
of
my
alma
mater
Al,
Old,
Mill
and
right
down
here
at
Annapolis,
High
School,
Alejandro
Tilly
will
be
in
Lane
eight
as
an
Annapolis
Panther.
So
that
being
said,
what's
your
favorite
sport?
What
do
you
like
the
best
and
obviously
you're
here
watching
swimming
I?
Know
you
don't
want
to
take
sides
or
anything
thing
like
that,
but
it
kind
of
what
what's.
E
Your
favorite
yeah
I
mean
I,
have
to
be
very
honest
about
it.
I
mean
it's
probably
going
to
be
basketball,
of
course,
because
that's
the
love
of
my
life
and
then
I'll
probably
have
to
say,
like
girls
volleyball,
because
I
have
I,
have
a
division.
E
Two
volleyball
player
in
my
house
and
I
have
a
middle
schooler
that
will
eventually
land
over
here
at
Annapolis,
who
we
think
has
some
potential
out
of
this
world
to
probably
be
phenomenal
in
volleyball
too,
we'll
give
them
a
shout
out,
give
a
shout
out
yeah,
so
yeah
I
mean
I'm
just
putting
it
out
there
early
on,
but
I
mean
I,
just
love,
sports,
I,
love,
sports
and
I
love,
I,
even
told
one
of
our
the
the
principal
at
Severna,
Park
Middle.
E
It's
my
understanding
that
he
coaches,
lacrosse
I,
don't
really
understand
lacrosse,
so
I
told
him
like
my
goal,
is
to
come
out
and
and
spend
some
time
with
him,
so
he
can
just
educate
me
on
on
understanding.
You
know
some
of
the
rules
and
and
those
kind
of
things
because,
like
I
said
I
just
want
to
try
to
support
you
know
all
of
our
athletes.
B
E
Because
at
one
point
I
was
I
was
wanting
to
possibly
look
at
engineering.
I
did
a
lexical
Construction
in
high
school
and
it
did
require.
You
know
you
had
to
really
understand
math
to
to
do
some
of
that
work
into
schematics
and
the
designs
that
you
had
to
create.
But
you
know
I
I
ended
up
I
mean
that
was
one
of
my
strengths.
E
As
a
teacher
when
I
went
when
I
was
teaching
at
the
elementary
level
back
in
Houston,
so
I
would
say
that
and
then
I'll
probably
say
in
terms
of
just
like
the
most
enjoyable
I
mean
PE
home
X.
You
know
facts
those
kind
of
classes
where
you're.
E
Cooking
because
I
like
to
cook
and
I
like
to
do
those
kind
of
things-
and
you
know
I
I-
think
all
of
those
things
really
complement.
Math
science
reading
and
social
studies
he's.
E
No
I
really
can
cook
I
can
bake
carrot,
cakes
from
scratch.
Frosting
I
do
all
of
that
from.
B
Scratch
so
yeah
I
believe
you
I
believe
that's
why
I
love
to
cook
myself,
so
Last
Thing,
Before,
I,
Let,
You
Go,
you
got
for
those
that
don't
know
between
our
TV
shows.
Dr
Bedell
is
talking
about
Anne
Arundel,
County,
Public,
Schools
and
he's
got
all
these
kids
surrounding
him
probably
felt
good
being
around
there.
What
did
the
kids
think
about
the
head
of
Anne
Arundel,
County,
Public
Schools?
Being
in
the
midst
of
them.
E
E
E
I,
don't
succumb
to
an
adult
centered
agenda,
I'm
here
to
make
sure
that
every
single
one
of
these
kids
get
what
they
deserve,
and
whether
they're
low
Achievers
average
or
higher
Achievers
I
have
a
responsibility
to
make
sure
that
every
single
one
of
these
kids
are
being
pushed
to
reach
their
fullest
potential
and
and
then
just
letting
them
know
like
when
they
see
me
just
like
today,
I'm
in
a
I'm
in
a
Jordan
hoodie
I
got
on
a
pair
of
Jordans
jeans.
E
B
A
B
Has
been
so
great
and
we
really
appreciate
you
coming
by,
we
know
you're
so
busy
and
you're
split
so
many
ways,
but
thank
you
so
much
God
bless
and
thanks
for
being
with
Anne
Arundel
County
Public.
B
E
I'm
certain
all
the
I
think
it
was
over
a
hundred
people
who
were
on
live
stream
before
I
left
the
house
that
probably
will
attest
and
and
agree
with
that.
Thank
you
so
much.
D
B
Congratulations
Luke
on
back-to-back
golds
again
what
a
thrill
that
was:
Dr,
Mark
Bedell
as
what
a
thrill
it
is
to
have
him
with
us
as
our
leader,
Dr
George
arlado,
did
such
a
great
job
and
handed
the
Baton
off
to
Dr
Bedell
and
just
motoring
forward
and
right
here,
A
packed
house
we're
streaming
live
on
aacpstv
and
the
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
YouTube
channel
Wiley
Baker
with
you
here
and
again
just
a
huge
shout
out
to
Eric
Lloyd
Chris
quall
Taylor
Thomas
Clayton
cope
Steve,
Gray
John.
To
my
left.
B
B
What
a
thrill
this
is
I
think
another
thing
I
should
mention.
While
we
have
some
time
is
we're
watch
a
500
another
500.
Here,
let's
go
ahead
and
mention
who's
in
what
Lanes
we
have
Anna
nevy
out
of
Old
Mill
I've
known
Anna,
since
she
was
born.
Her
mom
was
in
my
youth
group
at
Glen,
Burnie
United,
Methodist
Church.
B
But
right
here
during
the
2023
Anne
Arundel
County
swim
championships
I'm
going
to
go
backwards,
this
time,
just
for
the
fun
of
it.
Alphabetically
I
want
to
thank
the
head
coach
of
Southern
Jen
James
South
Rivers,
head
coach,
Laura,
Falcone,
Severna
Parks,
head
coach,
Paul
Lofgren
at
Old,
Mill
I
want
to
mention
two
coaches,
Ellen
Hayes
I,
hope
you're
watching
We
are
continuing
to
pray
for
you
that
you
continue
to
recover.
B
Coach
Hayes
is
on
IR,
as
they
say,
injured,
reserve,
so
Katie
Barry
is
taking
over
for
her
her
assistant
coach
in
doing
a
phenomenal
job
at
Old,
Mill
and
Patriot
country
northeast,
head
coaches,
Anne-Marie,
Kidwell,
North,
County's,
head
coaches,
Cassandra,
McLemore
Mead,
their
head
coach
is
Cara,
Blair,
Glenn,
Bernie,
Jen,
bistrack,
crofton's,
head
coach,
Catherine,
Catherine,
Gurley,
Chesapeake's,
head
coach
is
Brian,
Nelson
broadnecks,
head
coach,
Colleen,
Colleen,
Winans,
rundle's,
head
coach
is
Rachel
Miller
and
annapolis's
head
coach
is
Al
Gruber
and,
of
course,
the
coordinator
of
Athletics
of
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
Clayton
cope
Katie
Albright's
here,
Brian
Layman's
here
mentioned
Katie
Holmes
here
I
mean
just
It
Takes
a
Family.
B
To
make
this
happen
and
as
you
look
around,
you
can
see
around
the
pool
just
how
much
this
sport
has
grown.
I
only
wish
when
I
was
at
Old
Mill
from
1983
to
86
that
we
had
what
these
student
athletes
have
right
now.
What
a
great
lifetime
sport
swimming
is.
I
was
fortunate
enough
to
be
a
three-time
County
Tennis
champion
at
Old
Mill
in
a
sport
that
I
still
play
as
a
lifetime
Sport
and
golf
as
well
another
lifetime
sport.
B
So
we
have
three
lifetime
Sports
in
our
County
right
now,
but
I
guess
I
should
add
in
there
Bocce
that's
a
lifetime
sport
we
have
unified
Bocce,
we
have
unified
bowling
and
of
course
we
have
unified
tennis
and
I
again.
If
you've
never
played
bocce
just
buy
a
set,
buy
a
set,
read
the
directions,
it's
easy,
it's
fun
and,
of
course
most
of
us
99
of
us
have
been
bowling
at
one
time
or
another,
whether
it's
duck
pins
or
10
pins,
and
that
was
one
of
the
five
sports
that
I
played
as
a
youth.
B
I
was
tennis,
baseball,
basketball
track
and
field
and
bowling
so,
but
I
can
tell
you
swimming
what
an
incredible
sport
as
we
are
in
Heat
number,
one
of
the
500
yard
freestyle
that
was
won
last
year
by
a
swimmer.
That's
not
in
the
competition
this
year,
Emily
krukoff
of
Crofton.
She
won
it
as
a
15
year
old,
so
last
year,
back-to-back
Crofton
Champions.
Will
that
happen
this
year?
Let's
see
who's
in
it
for
Crofton
this
year
we
have
one
swimmer,
April
Collins,
who
will
be
in
Lane
three
of
heat
number.
Two!
B
B
B
So,
for
those
of
you
not
familiar
with
what
the
500
yard
freestyle
is
just
think
of
the
mile
or
two
mile
run
folks,
it's
the
long
one.
It
is
the
one
that
you
can
tell
stories
while
you're
watching
the
race
as.
B
These,
ladies,
you
talk
about
training
and
the
amazing
part
about
our
swim.
Coaches
is,
there
is
limited
time,
probably
a
Max
of
four
hours
a
week
in
the
pool
and
think
of
everything.
These
swim
coaches
do
to
get
their
student
athletes
swimmers
ready
for
competitions
as
finishing
in
first
in
lane
four,
it
is
Gene
Hahn
of
Arundel
at
6,
45
14.
B
B
We
have
Isla
zlipko
of
South
River
in
Lane,
one
nearest
to
us
Liz
Foreman
of
Chesapeake.
In
lane
two
we
have
April
Collins
of
Crofton
in
Lane,
three
back
to
back
broad
neck
Bruins
in
Lanes
four
and
five:
that's
Elizabeth
Stevens
in
four
Macy
Ryder.
At
five
we
have
Kayla
Patel
of
Severna
Park
in
Lane,
six,
her
teammate
Ainsley
Jeffers
in
Lane,
seven
and
in
Lane,
eight
South,
Rivers,
Zoe
Moran.
B
B
B
In
Lane,
five
is
Macy
Ryder
of
Broadneck
in
second
in
lane
four
Elizabeth
Steven
Elizabeth
Stevens
of
Broadneck
teammates
back
to
back
one
and
two
right
now,
foreign.
As
the
ladies
coming
up
on
finishing
lap
number
eight.
B
Again,
a
reminder
that
we've
got
more
County
championships
on
the
way
here
in
the
winter
Friday
February
17th
at
5
p.m
and
7
p.m.
At
Arundel,
High
School,
it's
the
JV,
girls,
basketball
championship,
followed
by
the
boys,
basketball
championship
again:
Friday
February,
17th,
5
p.m,
and
7
p.m.
At
Arundel,
High,
School
and
then
Saturday
February
18th
bring
your
eggs,
bring
your
bacon,
bring
your
scrapple
and
your
spam
and
maybe
an
English
muffin
to
Arundel
High,
School,
10
a.m
and
12
noon.
B
It
is
amazing
the
amount
of
of
conditioning
that
these
swimmers
go
through
and
the
amazing
part
when
you
talk
to
the
athletic
directors-
and
let
me
take
my
hat
off
to
all
of
the
athletic
directors
for
all
of
our
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools,
including
Chesapeake
science
point-
is
that
they
encourage
not
only
their
male
athletes
but
their
female
student
athletes
to
get
into
the
weight
room
to
really
get
into
cardio
and
some
of
the
big
things
we
have
going
on
in
Anne,
Arundel
County
Public
Schools,
that
not
only
the
girls
are
interested
in
not
only
the
ladies,
but
the
guys
dance
for
the
athlete,
the
dance
for
the
athlete
classes.
B
The
dance
for
the
athlete
classes
as
I
wait
for
the
cowbell
to
finish
ringing
is
our
dance
for
the
athlete
classes
fill
up,
maybe
faster
than
any
other
classes
in
our
school.
B
B
B
B
Up
next
it
is
200-yard
freestyle
relay
time.
Last
year,
South
River
took
the
gold
broad
neck,
the
silver
and
Croft
in
the
bronze
two
Heats.
We
have
four
schools
in
this
first
heat
Northeast
in
Lane,
three
Chesapeake
in
lane
four
Mead
in
Lane
five
and
Glen
Burnie
in
Lane.
Six,
and
you
might
ask
how
do
the
Heats
determine
their
times
while
they're
all
related
to
qualification
times
so
heat
one
will
go
first,
those
will
be
the
times.
B
B
B
B
Lane
one
North
County
Lane,
two
Arundel
Lane,
three
Severna
Park
Lane,
four
South
River
Lane,
five
Crofton
Lane,
six
Broadneck
Lane,
seven
Annapolis
Lane,
eight
Old
Mill
foreign
hitting
the
wall.
First
looked
like
Lane
five,
that's
Crofton
right
now,
taking
the
lead
on
the
turn
is
South
River
in
lane
four
South
River
a
extends
their
lead,
but
now
Crofton
digs
back
in
and
is
behind
by
Navy,
Head
and
Shoulders.
F
B
B
B
How
about
that
their
qualifying
time
was
204-61.
They
beat
it
by
four
tenths
heat.
Two
of
two
Old
Mill
will
be
nearest
to
us
on
your
screen
in
Lane.
One
Chesapeake
will
be
in
lane
two
South
River
Lane,
three
Severna
Park
Lane,
four
Broadneck
in
Lane,
five
Arundel
in
Lane,
six
Crofton
in
Lane,
seven
and
North
County
at
the
top
of
your
screen
in
Lane.
Eight.
B
B
And
it's
going
to
be
Reigns
and
Severna
Park
in
lane
four
taking
the
gold
Broadneck
in
Lane,
five
with
the
bronze
and
a
battle
for
the
I
mean
for
the
silver
and
the
battle
for
the
bronze
is
one
in
Lane
six
by
Arundel.
So
again
the
gold
goes
to
Severna
Park
at
142
79,
the
silver
in
Lane
five
goes
to
Broadneck
at
146
24.
B
B
B
I
love,
this
cucumber
mint,
drink,
I
do
have
to
say
I
won't
say
where
I
got
it
because
they'll
have
to
you
know:
I
have
to
sponsor
all
the
behind
the
scene.
Folks,
you
know
when
I
give
them
a
few
bucks
for
being
here
and
sweating
it
out
with
us
tonight,
Eric
Chris
and
Taylor
thanks
a
million
they're
doing
just
a
phenomenal
job
behind
the
scenes.
B
B
B
Finishing
his
second
wow
gracious
in
his
second
place
in
Lane
five
Caleb
Doty
of
North
County
at
108.08.
Only
five
hundredths
of
a
second
after
that
touching
the
wall
was
annapolis's;
Jacob
pageant
what
a
race
there
for
a
second.
So
congratulations
to
Griffin
Harris
for
winning
Heat
number
two
102
17.!
Here
we
go
my
friends
heat
three
up
and
back
twice.
B
B
B
B
So
that's
Grant
Murphy
of
Crofton
back
to
back
championships
here
in
the
100
yard,
backstroke
out
of
Crofton
Grant
Murphy
at
50.62.
He
gets
the
gold
Nate
Decker
out
of
Broadneck
gets
the
silver
and
Patrick
siona
of
Severna.
Park
gets
the
bronze
time
for
the
ladies
Sarah
Smith
of
Severna.
Park
won
this
one
last
year,
but
she
graduated
Chloe
lawn
of
Broadneck
was
the
Bronze
medalist
last
year
and
her
teammate
Evie
Hopkins,
who
finished
in
fourth
they'll,
both
be
in
the
fourth
heat
of
this
one
in
Heat
number
one.
B
B
B
150
207
says
our
good
friend
John
to
my
left.
They
have
been
fabulous
over
here.
I'll.
Tell
you
what
if
my
computer
worked
that
fast
think
of
all
the
extra
time
I
would
have
any
computer
by
the
way.
Heat
number
two
here
we
go.
Seven
Lanes
will
be
full
Lane
one
Jordan
twig
of
Northeast
lane
two
Cassie
Brown
of
Glen
Burnie
Lane,
three
Natalia
cussentino
of
North
County
Lane,
four
Annie
Ralph
of
Annapolis
Lane,
five
Sydney
Thatcher
of
Chesapeake
Lane,
six
Alyssa
nege
of
Glen
Burnie
Lane,
seven
Faith
Rose
of
Northeast.
B
So
for
those
of
you
who
are
new
watching
swimming
and
aren't
familiar
with
the
backstroke,
let's
just
tell
you
what
that's
kind
of
like
when
you're
doing
sprints
in
basketball,
it's
running
forward
from
one
end
line
to
the
other
end
line
to
a
basketball
court
and
then
running
back
pedal
all
the
way
back.
Well,
it's
doing
all
back
pedal
all
the
time
here.
That's
basically
what
it's
like,
except
you've,
got
the
water
to
deal
with.
B
And
a
great
battle
for
the
tough
spot
in
the
heat
who's
going
to
hit.
First,
it
looks
like
North
County's
Natalia
Cosentino
does
hit
well
actually
they're
going
to
say
that
it's
a
Alyssa
Nagy
of
Glen
Burnie
hit
first
Chesapeake
Sydney,
Thatcher
second
and
Constantino
of
North
County.
Third,.
B
B
B
Alrighty,
so
we've
got
Isabella
steinebach
from
North
County
she's
in
Lane,
one
in
heat,
three
of
four
Molly
Ralph
of
Annapolis.
In
lane
two
lane
three
Kaylee
ayton
of
Crofton
Lane,
four
Gene
Hahn
of
Arundel
Lane,
five
Elizabeth
Sappington
of
South
River,
plane,
six
Elena
Simonson
of
Old
Mill
Lane,
seven
Michaela
Everhart
of
Chesapeake
and
Lane
eight
Kate
hunt
of
Old
Mill
Lane
five
is
our
leader
that
is
Elizabeth
Sappington
of
South
River
by
less
than
two
tenths
of
a
second.
B
Again,
it's
the
100
yard
backstroke
hitting
the
wall
first
still
Sappington
and
there's
a
battle
for
the
one
two
and
three
three.
Ladies
within
about
a
body
length
of
each
other,
Elizabeth
Sappington
of
South
River,
looks
like
she
is
going
to
hold
on.
She
does
in
Lane
five
Lane,
four
Gene
hunt
of
Arundel
finishes
second
and
Kaylee
ayton
of
Crofton
finishes.
Third,
so
the
time
to
beat
is.
C
B
B
N
hits
the
wall
first
Chloe
lawn
coming
down
the
stretch.
Can
she
hold
on?
Will
she
go
from
bronze
to
gold?
It
is
Chloe
lawn,
Lane,
four,
a
big
battle
for
second
and
third.
It
is
Chloe
lawn
with
the
goal.
It
is
her
teammate
Evie
Hopkins,
going
from
fourth
last
year
to
the
silver
and
finishing
with
the
bronze
in
Lane
six,
it's
Ann
Carr
of
South
River
102.
B
It's
a
full
pool,
Lane
one
Diego
samayo
vides
out
of
Northeast
Kyle
Lynch,
is
in
lane
two
out
of
Southern
Lane,
three
Grayson
page
well
of
mead
Lane,
four
Logan
O'brien
of
Glen
Burnie
Lane,
five
Lucas
Fernandez
of
North
County,
his
teammate
Mason
Brown
rig
in
Lane
six
Lane,
seven
Gage
Perkins
of
Glen
Burnie
Lane,
eight
Gavin,
Wagner
of
Old
Mill,
looks
like
we
do
not
have
Gage
Perkins
of
Glen
Burnie
in
this
one.
But
at
least
we
gave
him
a
shout
out.
B
Lucas
Fernandez
will
touch
the
wall
first,
followed
by
his
teammates
Mason.
Actually
did
they
say:
brown
rig
was
first
Brown
rig
finished.
First
wow
looked
like
Fernandez
I,
don't
know
if
he
didn't
touch
the
wall,
but
Brown
rig
at
124-17
finishes
first
out
of
North
County
Lucas
Fernandez
in
second
just
two
hundredths
of
a
second
behind
his
teammate
and
finishing
third
in
lane
four
Logan
O'brien
of
Glen
Burnie.
So
the
time
to
beat
is
124-17.
A
B
Again,
just
the
the
conditioning
that
they
have
to
do
outside
of
the
pool
alone
to
be
in
competition
form
is
amazing,
and
it
is
in
lane
four
Jeffrey
Craddock,
the
Arundel
wildcat
with
the
lead
in
second
in
Lane,
three
Shep
Kegley
of
Severna
Park,
and
it
looks
like
in
third
in
Lane
five
Robert
Donnelly
of
Annapolis
coming
down
the
home
stretch
stretching
out
his
lead.
It's
Jeffrey
Craddock
foreign.
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
39
we've
got
in
heat
three
lane:
one
I'll,
let
messman
of
Crofton
Lane:
two
Sage
McGonagall
of
South
River
Lane,
three
Annelise
Harding
of
Arundel
Lane,
four
Darby
Doyle
of
South
River
Lane,
five
Jordan
Weimer
of
Old
Mill
Lane,
six
Tatum
Augustine
of
North
County,
Lane,
seven
Gabby,
Wilson
of
Chesapeake
and
Lane,
eight
McKenna,
aurel
of
mead
and
touching
first
it
is
Lane
four
and
that's
Darby
Doyle
of
South
River
close
behind
is
her
teammate
Sage
McGonagall.
Also
a
Seahawk.
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
So,
for
those
of
you
track
fans
out
there
trying
to
kind
of
figure
out
what
this
is
like.
This,
though
it's
only
400
yards,
would
not
be
like
your
400
yard
relay
going
around
the
track.
That's
one
quarter
of
the
track,
we're
talking
about
going
up
and
back
two
times
so
up
back
up
back,
so
this
would
be
more
like
your
mile
relay.
This
would
be
going
around
the
track
one
time,
maybe
even
twice
because
of
the
amount
of
energy
that
has
to
be
put
into
it
as
a
Rundle
finishes.
B
Two
of
two
can
Broadneck:
go
from
bronze
to
gold,
can
Severna
Park
go
from
silver
to
gold
or
will
South
River
maintain
the
goal?
It's
Annapolis
in
lane
two
South
River
in
Lane,
three
Broadneck
in
lane
four
Crafton
in
Lane,
five
Severna
Park
in
Lane,
six
and
North
County
in
Lane,
seven
from
bottom
to
top.
B
Three
swimmers
right
in
the
middle
of
the
pool
three,
four
and
five.
It
looks
like
Lane
four
Broadneck
ahead
by
just
the
neck,
but
very
close
is
Lane,
five
and
Crofton.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
the
Cardinals
look
like
they've
taken
a
slight
lead,
as
the
second
swimmers
get
ready
to
take
to
the
water
and
they
do.
B
B
B
B
B
In
second
still
Crofton
in
Lane,
five
in
third
Savannah
parked
in
Lane
six
in
fourth
South
River
in
Lane
three
and
there

a
hold
of
some
of
the

with
the

B
Welcome
back
to
the
Arundel
Swim
Center
here
at
the
2023
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
swim
championships,
where
I'm
here
with
some
champions
in
the
400
yard,
freestyle
relay
gentlemen:
congratulations
on
a
school
and
County
record!
Congratulations!
I'm!
Here
with
the
first
swimmer
of
that
relay
Nate
Decker
Nate!
How
did
you
all
do
it.
F
B
B
G
Jumping
in
the
pool
yeah,
it
gives
us
confidence.
We
I
wanted
to
maintain
the
lead.
I
wanted
to
gain
the
lead
so
that
my
fellow
teammates
behind
me
I,
wanted
to
give
them
the
best
opportunity
to
succeed
and
I
knew
I
had
to
go
around
like
a
48.
So
I
knew
ahead
of
time
that
I
had
to
like
build
the
lead
and
just
keep
on
going.
Even
if
I
was
got
tired,
very.
B
F
C
B
C
B
Was
truly
awesome.
Gentlemen:
congratulations
well
done
with
a
time
of
3
13.21
Nate
Decker,
Jack,
harada,
Owen,

and

They
are
County

for

big
news
in
just
a
moment
for
Broadneck
and
the
Bruins
Wiley
Baker
here,
aacps
TV
are
we
staying
live.
We
are
staying
alive,
so
I
guess,
gentlemen,
you
can
go
be
with
your
team.
We
have
some
announcements
coming
up,
so
I
think
I
need
to
grab
another
microphone
here,
Eric
cloyd's
on
the
camera.
For
me,
okay,
this.
C
B
A
A
B
B
We
had
some
good
good
swimming
today
and
I
apologize
I'll
try
to
walk
away
from
this.
Just
a
hair.
My
hands
are
a
little
full.
So
let
me
see
if
I
can
get
everything
in
one
hand
here
we
go.
Can
everybody
hear
me
all
right
all
right,
Christy
we're
doing
three
two
one,
ladies
first,
all
right
so
finishing
for
the
women
in
third
place
with
a
point
total
of
155
points,
the
Annapolis
Panthers.
B
B

tell
you
I
had
so
much
fun,
calling
the
play-by-play
thank
you.
It
was
an
honor
and
a
pleasure.
I
hope
I
get
a
chance
to
do
it
next
year.
I
hope
they
ask
me
back.
B
It
has
been
just
wonderful
and
again
as
we
wrap
up
on
live
television,
aacps
TV
and
the
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
YouTube
channel
I
want
to
thank
my
entire
staff,
my
entire
crew
and
everybody
upstairs
with
me
on
behalf
of
Clayton
cope
and
Steve
Gray
I'm
Wiley
Baker
I'll
talk
to
you
on
the
court
on
the
field
on
the
air
or
yeah,
maybe
even
in
the
pool
with
more
County
championships
here
on
aacps
TV
be
safe
out
there.
Everyone
take
care
of
yourselves,
take
care
of
each
other
and
God
bless.
