A
Hi
I'm
Katie
Holmes
and
welcome
to
the
next
level
on
this
show.
We
feature
senior
athletes
going
on
to
play
at
the
college
level.
Today.
I
am
so
excited
to
have
three
seniors
from
South
River
High
School
with
me.
These
three
very
impressive
young
athletes
share
a
band
of
Brotherhood
from
a
very
young
age.
They
have
been
playing
sports
together
since
the
age
of
seven
I
have
invited
them
on
to
share
their
story
of
what
the
next
level
looks
like
for
them
and
hear
how
playing
sports
together
has
bonded
them.
A
C
Met
through
SOA
football
Edgewater
field,
Blake
played
up
the
first
year,
but
we
still
knew
who
he
was.
He
was
still
I
went
to
elementary
school
with
him,
so
we
were
still
good
friends
and
me
and
Trey
Sean
played
together
and
the
first
core
memory
I
have,
though,
with
all
of
us
was
8U
football.
We
played
the
Laurel
Steelers,
it
was
the
state
semi-finals.
C
We
did
not
win
that
game.
It
was
a.
It
was
a
tough
loss,
but
it
was
the
first
time
where,
like
when
you're
young,
and
when
you
get
older
and
older,
you
kind
of
lose
memories,
and
you
don't
remember
as
much,
but
it's
the
one
thing
that
I'll
never
forget.
It's
the
it's
the
first
one
where
I
was
like
yeah.
These
are
my
boys
and.
C
You
then
I
was
eight,
so
it
was
8U
football
second
year
of
playing
Blake
just
dropped
down
to
play
with
us
that
year,
so
it
was,
it
was
fun.
B
I
would
say,
probably
when
we
played
the
team
in
basketball.
It
was
like
the
Ravens
or
something
like
that,
and
cash
had
like
42
points
and
we
just
absolutely
beat
the
team
by
like
30
points.
42.
B
A
D
I
would
I
gotta
say
it
was
like
we
were
we.
It
was
our
first
practice
when
I
dropped
down
to
this
team,
because
I
was
playing
with
my
older
friends
who
brought
me
into
football.
But
this
is
when
I
first
was
like.
I
want
to
be
with
these
guys
like
for
Life
man,
and
they
they.
It
was
funny
practice
because
Trey
was
already
giving
the
coach
a
fit
and
we
went
on
a
lap
run
and
he
had
to
use
the
bathroom
mid-lap
and
so
the
rest
of
the
practice.
A
A
D
C
I
remember
the
first
day
walking
in
there
and
everybody's
sitting
at
the
lunch
tables.
There
were
six
long,
lunch
tables
and
I.
Remember
seeing
all
of
the
football
kids
there
and
it
was.
You
started
football
before
school.
So
all
these
kids
that
came
from
Central
and
you
know,
Edgewater
Elementary
I-
was
at
Mayo
all
these
kids.
That
I
now
have
finally
met
and
it's
like
I.
That's
when
I
first
got
to
experience
that
middle
school
life
going
to
a
bigger
school
meeting.
C
B
It
was
very
crazy.
You
know.
I
was
like
five
five
less
than
that
I
was
like.
I
was
a
so
my
small
town,
seeing
all
these
big,
these
big
kids
compared
to
me
and
getting
ready
to
enter
Middle
School.
It
was
like
it's
like.
Oh,
you
know,
I
kind
of
have
to
like
find
my
friends
and
start
to
create
this
group
in
this
Bond.
That's
gonna
last
and
get
me
through
middle
school
and
high
school,
so
I
know
I.
Remember
until
this
day,
seeing
them
I
was
cheesing
ear
to
ear.
B
D
C
C
D
A
B
So
you
know
there
there
was
always
like
a
thought
of
like
us
splitting
up
like
not
because
we're
it's
high
school
now
so
now
you
have
other
schools,
because
we
had
other
schools
come
so
we
had
Croft
income.
So
it's
like
we,
our
group,
could
have
split
up.
We
could
have
been
in
three
different
friend
groups,
not
talk
to
each
other
as
much
as
we
did
in
middle
school,
but
we
didn't
and
so
like
that,
created
the
bond
even
more,
because
now
we're
going
through
high
school
just
as
one
and
not
individually,.
C
I
think
my
biggest
anticipation
when
it
came
to
high
school
was
I,
have
four
older
sisters.
Blake
has
an
older
sister
and
we
were
around
South
River
Sports,
my
entire
life
since
I
could
remember.
I
was
going
to
South,
River
basketball
games,
football
games,
lacrosse
games
and
my
biggest
anticipation
was
I.
Couldn't
wait
to
play
with
them
in
high
school,
like
I.
C
Couldn't
wait
to
have
these
Friday
night
games
that
we
just
had
this
past
year,
where
we
have
an
entire
bleacher
filled
screaming
for
us
and
cheering
for
us,
and
here
we
are
in
a
big
game.
You
know,
I,
remember
the
Mead
game
in
specific
Friday
night,
huge
game,
a
lot
of
fans
there
had
a
great
win,
put
up
a
great
win
against.
C
They
lost
in
the
state
semi
early
in
the
state
championship,
game
versus
Parkville
this
year,
so
huge
win
and
and
that's
those
type
of
games
where
buzzer
sounds
you
look
over
at
all
the
students
and
you're
like
yeah,
like
it
was
all
worth.
This
is
why
it's
worth
it
like
this
is
everything
I've
been
working
for
looking
for
like
this?
Is
this?
Is
it
this
is
I
was
felt
completely
rewarded
at
that
moment.
So,
oh.
D
I
think
that,
like
we
were
sitting
there
in
our
ninth
grade
year
and
looked
up
at
their
seniors-
and
we
were
like
you
know,
they
have
good
groups,
they
they
they're
so
like
looked
up
to,
but
I
think
that
we
exceeded
that
and
I.
Think
that's
because
we
talked
about
it.
We
dreamed
about
it.
That's
for
sure.
D
C
I
was
at
the
Amish
Market
the
other
day
to
touch
on
what
Blake's
saying
it
sounds
crazy,
but
I
was
at
the
Amish
Market
the
other
day
and
I
was
leaving
and
as
I
was
leaving.
I
could
see
this
car
kind
of
pull
out
out
of
the
corner
of
my
eye
and
he
rolls
down
the
window
and
he
says:
hey
and
I
was
like
I
turn
around
I'm.
Like
hey
he's,
like
you
go
to
South
River
and
I
was
like
yeah
he's
like
you're
cash.
C
C
D
We
just
grew
on
it
yeah.
It
grew
on
other
people
and
I.
Think
there's,
there's
people
that
we've
seen
we
even
went
to
support
one
of
our
former
teammates
at
UMBC
and
his
M.I.A
championship
game,
and
there
were
people
there
talking
to
to
like
us
about
our
games
and
they're
like
huge
St,
Mary's
fans
and
I
mean
it
just.
It
just
goes
to
show
how
like
around
the
word,
got
and
it's
it's
like
crazy
to
think
about.
But
then
you
have
to
sit
back
and
just
appreciate.
C
Believe
that
we
had
people
that
haven't
been
intrigued
in
South
River
Sports
in
a
while
get
pretty
involved
this
year,
it
was
really
cool
to
see
the
amount
of
people
that
we
could
bring
out
to
every
Friday
night
game
consistently.
It
wasn't
just
because
we
were
playing
Southern
or
just
because
we
were
playing
Mead
or
yeah
any
game
we
played.
It
was
always
we
had.
A
C
D
Know
I
the
growth
in,
like
my
friends,
has
just
been
it's
crazy,
like
to
play.
College
sports
is
already
hard
enough,
but
the
fact
that,
like
we
did
it
at
the
school
stayed
together
like
South
River
and
like
did
it
together,
working
out
together,
all
those
like
morning,
workouts
and
stuff,
like
that.
I
think
it
just
goes
to
show
like
how
much
we
care
and
the
fact
I've
seen
like
Trey
would
say
he
was
five
five
he
could.
He
could
still
be
that
height
in
the
work
he's
put
in.
Would.
A
D
Count
for
him
to
be
a
Collegiate
football
player
and
like
cash
like
42
points
is
younger.
He
didn't
just
score
42
points
when
he
was
younger
because
he
was
like
six
five
like
he's
put
in
the
work
since
then,
and
like
he's
he's
smart,
he
knows
the
game
more
than
anyone,
so
I
think
to
see
them
grow.
Helps
me
grow
too
right.
I!
Think!
That's!
That's
how
it
is
like.
C
I'm
gonna
touch
on
what
Blake
said
first
about
Trey
Sean,
because
it
was
exactly
the
felt
in
my
head.
Trishon
was
always
dominant
in
football.
My
entire
life,
all
I
can
remember.
There
was
a
time
in
like
seventh
or
eighth
grade,
he
was
still
dominant,
but
people
were
kind
of
growing
and
everybody
was
kind
of
catching
up
to
his
size,
his
speed,
and
then
you
saw
his
freshman
late
freshman
summer
sophomore
year.
C
Now
he
regrew
again,
and
you
saw
the
dominance
regain
and
you
saw
him
take
over
the
county
in
football
again,
and
that
was
an
incredible
thing
to
see
because
I
got
to
see
it
and
then
I
got
to
see
a
little
change
still
dominant.
But
just
people
were
also
you
know
very
good,
and
then
you
got
to
see
that
change
again,
where
he
just
like
gone.
He.
C
I
mean
yeah,
it
was
like
I
mean
it
was
just
over
the
summer.
Here
Comes
sophomore
football
junior
football
season
for
him,
and
it
was
like
I
mean
he's
right
back
to,
if
not
10,
times
past,
where
he
was
so.
That
was
great
to
see
and
Blake
I
mean
I've.
Nobody
ever
put
into
work
like
Blake
did
over
covet
and
I
will
fight
that
to
the
day.
I
die
for
anybody,
because
that
man,
he
he
put
his
head
down
and
you
can
see
it.
C
B
C
D
A
B
C
It
was
late
in
the
game
two
minutes
left
tied
up
and
my
arm
like
was
down
to
my
knee
literally
it
was
just
and
so
I'm
coming
off
and
I
was
in
shock,
no
pain.
It
was
just
like
you
were
like
I.
Do
not
feel
right
like
something
is
wrong.
You
know
I
felt
like
a
baby
here.
I
am
tied
up
late
in
the
game
and
I'm.
Just
oh
I'm,
taking
myself
out.
C
Like
wow
and
I
knew,
I
knew
that
they
were
gonna,
be
giving
me
a
hard
time,
and
that
was
my
first
thumb.
I
had
was
I'm
a
baby
I,
don't
want
to
be
a
baby.
I
swear,
I
feel
hurt
like
something's
wrong
and
then,
when
the
trainer
came
over
and
they
realized
that
my
cob
on
snapped
and
had
they
were
like
yeah.
D
B
And
it
it
was
like
kind
of
like
War,
it
felt
I
felt
bad
because
he
wanted
to
be
out
there
as
much
as
we
wanted
to
be
out
there
and
we
wanted
him
like
he
was
our
quarterback
yeah,
so
starting
quarterback
so
like
to
lose
your
starting
quarterback
and
he's
been
throwing
to
us
for
years.
So,
like
our
chemistry
just
went
out,
the
roof
went
out
the
door
because
he
got
hurt
and
oh
man,
it
definitely
did
suck
it.
A
C
This
past
year,
I
got
first
Teemo
County,
First,
Team,
all
Capital
Gazette
and
then
Washington
Metro,
all
honorable
mention
thank
you.
I
appreciate
that
a
ton.
C
A
C
B
So
I
got
first
team,
I
guess
it's
all
athlete
for
first
21
and
22,
so
I
guess
it's
like
the
best
athlete
in
the
county.
I
got
that
and
then
I
got
honorable
mentioned
I
guess
for
basketball,
which
yeah.
A
D
I'm
gonna
be
going
to
Salisbury
and
I'm
hoping
to
be
a
dual
sport
athlete
there
and
I
just
decided
that
I.
Actually,
he
was
helping
my
football
film
this
week.
Actually
because
I
was
like
I
I
kind
of
like
both
playing
two
sports
and
if
I
can
make
it
happen,
I'm
gonna,
I'm
gonna
do
that,
but
it's
it's
coming
so.
A
Well,
we
will
be
right
back
after
a
short
break.
We're
gonna
play
a
little
trivia
game
and
we'll
talk
more
about
it.
After
this
break
we
are
back
and
we
are
going
to
play
a
trivia
game.
All
three
of
them
told
me
that
their
favorite
coach
was
coach,
Darren
Hall,
he
coached
them
all
four
years
in
basketball.
Let's
see
who
really
knows
coach
Hall
the
best.
B
A
C
A
C
A
A
A
C
A
D
Does
a
great
job
of
like
representing
us
at
South,
River
and
all
the
other
athletes,
so
we
got
on
there
and
we
just
like
to
talk
about
like
how
what
we
wanted
the
community
like
to
do
with
what
our
basketball
team
was
trying
to
do.
I
guess:
that's
if
I'm
trying
to
say
that
right
but
like
how
Friday
night
games
were
so
packed
and
how
I
don't
know
just
how
our
basketball
team
was
trying
to
like
represent
the
community
so
well,
I
think
that's
what
we
did
and
I
I,
don't
I'm
kind.
C
Of
we
talked
about
yeah,
we
talked
about
earlier
in
this.
We
talked
about
the
Friday
night
games
having
a
lot
of
people
and
how
we
used
to
go
to
games
when
we
were
younger
and
well
South.
Denver
boys
basketball
has
never
had
The
Narrative
of
being
a
known,
talented
basketball
program,
and
we
had.
We
knew
that
we
knew
that
going
into
there
and
our
thing
was:
is
we
wanted
to
make
a
change
and
we
realized
we
were
all
there.
We
wanted
to
keep
the
private
school
kids
at
South
River.
C
River
I
want
to
do
what
these
kids
did,
and
that
was
a
big
emphasis
that
we
talked
about
on
that
podcast
and
changing
The
Narrative
of
South
River
basketball,
getting
good
student
sections
there
getting
a
lot
of
fans
there
getting
winning
Big
Time
games
beat
Eleanor
Roosevelt
this
year,
defending
4-H
state
champion
like
beat
Mead,
who
was
lost
in
the
state
championship
versus
Parkville,
who
had
one
loss
on
the
year,
I
believe
so
we
that
was
our
goal,
and
it
was
the
main
thing
that
the
hawk
talks
about
is.
C
We
wanted
to
change
the
look
of
South
River
basketball
for
South
River
as
a
whole.
We
wanted
to
be
not
this
year
that
we're
good,
but
the
next
five
years
we
can
be
good
and
keep
kids
outside
I
know
of
plenty
of
talent
in
the
middle
school
right
now
that
I
would
love
to
see
come
to
South,
River
and
I
hope
that
us
Serene,
along
with
the
rest
of
the
team,
is
part
of
the
reason
why
these
kids
are
deciding.
C
You
know
what
I'm
going
to
go
here
instead
of
go
to
this
private
school,
because
I
was
going
to
be
one
of
them
until
Coach
Hall
came
to
South
River
I
was
100,
going
to
be
one
of
them
and
and
I
have
zero
regrets
I
mean
not
even
the
slightest
bit
of
regret
with
my
decision
so
I
want
to
show
people.
Look
you
you're
able
to
do
what
you
want
to
do
at
southover
the
same
way
you
can
do
anywhere
else
and
I
believe
we
did
a
great
job
at
that
this
year.
Yeah.
B
So
I
think
one
of
the
main
points
we
touched
on
in
the
podcast
is
about
like
I
guess
like
the
younger
generation
and
stuff,
like
that.
The
people
who
are
next
up,
like
the
sophomores
and
juniors,
and
the
kids
transitioning
from
middle
school
to
South
or
to
high
school
and
stuff
like
that,
and
we
were
just
trying
to
like
give
them
guidance
and
tell
them
that
like
in
order
for
you
to
be
successful
and
like
I
guess,
like
anything
you
do,
and
especially
on
the
basketball
court.
B
A
B
B
Look
up
to
that
person
like
I
want
the
Freshman,
the
Juniors,
even
people,
my
age,
to
like
be
like
Trey
Sean,
he's
someone
to
look
up
to
he's
a
good
role
model
he's
a
good
leader
and
even
like,
with
cash
and
Blake
same
thing
like
I.
Look
up
to
them!
I
look
up
to
like
they
are
wonderful,
perfect,
I!
Look
up
to
them!
I
want
to
be
just
like
them.
Even.
B
C
Hope
I
would
love
to
come
back
and
coach
at
Southbury,
no
doubt
I'm
the
type
of
person
where
I
know.
Right
now
in
my
life,
I
want
to
live
in
Annapolis
Mayo,
Edgewater
Broadneck
I
want
to
live
in
this
area
for
the
rest
of
my
life
and
I'm
I'm
dead,
set
on
that
like
it's
something
that
I've
thought
about
for
forever
and
I
would
love
nothing
more
than
to
come.
Be
a
part
of
that
right.
C
C
B
A
Look
forward
to
following
you

your
four-year
journey

We.
A
Good.
Thank
you.
Of
course,
I'd
like
to
close
our
show
with
a
quote
from
an
inspiring
athlete
greatness
is
a
lot
of
small
things
done
well
said
the
former
Baltimore
Raven
Ray
Lewis.
Also,
if
you
haven't
seen
the
athletes
in
action,
show
hosted
by
Wiley
Baker
check
it
out.
The
latest
episode
features
the
entire

more
from
