A
We'll
enter
back
into
excuse
me
open
session.
Let's
see
so
Kelly.
Can
you
please
reestablish
Quorum.
B
My
pleasure
trustee
hack
trustee
Hernandez
he
did
inform
us
that
he
will
not
be
attending
tonight
trustee
Rocha
here.
Vice
president
Lathan
here,
president
Lewis.
A
A
Thank
you
so
B
reports
from
closed
session.
There
are
no
report
and
there's
nothing
to
report
out,
so
we
will
move
on
to
section
c
Dr
Jack.
Would
you
mind
leading
Us
in
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance.
C
A
All
right
so
moving
right
along
superintendent's
report.
E
E
Am
I
on
I
think
I'm
on
I
wanted
to
extend
an
invitation
to
all
of
you
for
our
second
annual
staff
appreciation
picnic
so
you'll
pass
those
down.
Oh.
C
E
E
Before
that
she
was
a
reading
teacher
just
amazing
in
the
classroom
and
our
teacher
of
the
year
is
Pam
Swicegood
she's,
an
English
teacher
at
Antioch,
High
School,
who
has
spent
34
years
at
Antioch,
High
School,
beginning
her
career
as
a
substitute
teacher
or
student
teacher
I.
Believe.
E
A
Go
ahead
and
I
was
just
going
to
say:
we
want
to
celebrate
all
of
our
outstanding
teachers.
Definitely
and.
E
We
will
have
them
back
for
a
special
recognition
in
May,
so
that'll
be
coming
up,
and
finally,
we
have
concluded
our
work
with
our
bargaining
units
this
year,
we've
come
to
mutual
agreements
that
we
think
are
in
the
best
interest
of
the
district
and
I
just
want
to
thank
both
the
Antioch
Education
Association,
the
California
schools,
Education
Association
and
the
Antioch
bargaining
team.
So
thank
you
and
that
concludes
my
report
for
this
evening.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
F
Just
wanted
to
say
hello
to
everyone,
you
can't
hear
me:
okay,
hello,
everyone!
That's
all
we
wanted
to
say,
welcome
and
thank
you
for
for
being
with
us
today.
It's.
G
A
Right
so
school
reports
we
have
none
so
item
six
individuals
to
address
the
board
regarding
items
not
on
the
agenda.
It
looks
like
we
have
quite
a
few,
so
the
first
one
is
I
believe
that's
Janelle,
Collins
yeah.
H
Name
is
Janelle
Collins
I'ma,
keep
it
brief.
Okay,
it
was
brought
to
my
attention
that
that
the
district
was
considering
letting
go
of
our
principal
Mrs
Berry.
That's
the
word
on
the
street
because
it
got
me
about
my
house
here.
H
We
love
our
principal
she's,
excellent
she's
out
there
rain,
sleet
or
snow
greeting
kids
in
the
morning
greeting
them
in
the
afternoon,
I
have
a
child
with
special
needs
and
I
have
had
problems
getting
services
for
my
child
and
Miss
Barry
has
bent
over
backwards
to
make
sure
that
he
does
not
fall
in
the
cracks.
If
Miss
Berry
leaves
I
will
have
no
choice
but
to
pull
my
children
from
Long,
Tree,
Elementary
and
I'm.
Also
a
daycare
provider.
I
So
I
am
Ruby,
Mathis
and
I'm
here
as
well
on
behalf
of
Lone
Tree
elementary
for
standing
in
for
Miss
Berry
Miss
Barry
has
been
a
second
mom
to
my
children
when
my
daughter,
when
she
was
kidnapped
from
Diablo,
Vista
and
Antioch
Unified
School
District
gave
no
care
in
the
world
to
know
that
my
daughter
was
kidnapped
and
taken
from
your
school.
The
teacher
gave
away
to
a
complete
stranger,
and
so
we,
her
father
and
I,
decided
to
move
her
from
Diablo
Vista
and
we
found
out
that
Miss
Barry.
I
She
has
been
a
principal
to
all
of
our
children
for
my
oldest
21
to
now,
my
youngest
being
six,
so
she's
been
around
and
she's
been
definitely
a
solid
rock
for
our
community
for
our
family,
I'm,
pretty
sure
for
everybody
here
where
she
stepped
in
she's.
There
she's
there
to
greet
all
of
our
children
every
morning,
Name
by
name
what
school
and
what
principal
do
you
know
who
can
call
each
child
by
name
individually?
I
You
know
we
all
see
on
Facebook
and
Instagram,
where
teachers
and
principals
have
certain
handshakes
and
certain
things
with
certain
children.
She
pulls
my
daughter
out
of
class
every
day,
her
mental
health
check-ins.
What
principle
do
you
know?
She's
been
there
through
divorces
through
just
mental
health
breakdowns
from
our
children
from
all
kind
of
families,
and
it's
it's
a
lot.
It
speaks
volumes
to
her
character.
A
J
J
It's
a
trend
going
on
something.
That's
not
right!
So
I
just
have
that
question
if
they
want
her
gone,
don't
bring
in
another
administrative
move,
one
of
those
teachers
who
have
administrative
degrees
that
can
take
over
her
position
and
do
it
right,
I
think
you're
going
to
hear
a
lot
of
parents
say
the
same
thing:
she
greets
them,
their
kids,
she's,
lovable,
I,
even
love
when
she
has
Bentley
there.
That's
her
dog
in
case
you
all
don't
know.
Bentley
is
very
friendly.
I.
Just
don't
understand
why
she's
being
moved
I,
that's
the
question.
J
I
want
to
know
and
I
don't
have
kids
there.
I
have
foster
kids
they're
grandkids
there.
You
know
what
I'm
saying
so
I
just
and
I'm
about
to
move
out
of
state
and
to
hear
this
I'm
like
this
is
the
second
time
something's
wrong.
Something's
not
right
here
but
again,
if
they
have
administrative
degrees,
ask
one
of
those
teachers
who
don't
want
to
do
what
she
says
do
to
move
up
and
step
up
and
keep
it
going.
Keep
the
kids
Happy
keep
the
parents
happy.
K
K
Good
evening
we're
standing
together
as
a
family,
Miss
Mary
has
really
been
an
excellent
principle
for
us
at
Long
Tree.
My
son
started
when
he
was
Kindergarten
he's
now
fifth
grade,
my
daughter
started
when
she
was
Kindergarten
she's.
Now.
Second-
and
you
know,
I
just
wrote
out
a
little
something
that
says
you
know.
K
I
know
this
because
it's
up
the
street
from
my
house,
I
saw
her
walking
I
pulled
to
the
side
and
I
said
Miss
Barry
I'll
pull
my
cart
right
here
and
I
will
wait
for
you.
She
didn't
just
drop
that
child
at
the
door
she
knocked
on
it.
She
spoke
to
the
parent
and
she
made
sure
that
that
child
arrived
home
safely.
K
K
K
She
came
up
with
a
solution
for
the
teacher
and
for
Ross's
parents
to
work
with
my
son
to
get
him
back
on
track
and
at
the
end
of
the
year
my
son
was
back
at
the
grade
level
and
above
grade
level,
just
by
her
her
Suggestions
by
us
working
together,
principal
teacher
family.
Another
thing
that
I
just
want
to
say
too
is:
whenever
she
there
is
an
event
at
Lone
Tree
elementary
school
Miss
Berry
is
right
there.
She
is
like
a
movie
star.
K
There
are
kids
waiting
in
line
to
hug
her
to
say
hi
to
her
their
parents
waiting
in
line
just
to
get
a
turn
to
say
something
so
I
just
want
to
say
that
she's
absolutely
loved,
my
kids
and
kids
tell
it
all.
If
a
kid
does
not
like
you,
they're
not
going
to
talk
to
you.
So
if
anything
that
is
represented
here,
it's
the
children.
So
if
you
get
rid
of
Miss
Berry
you're,
not
only
given
a
loss
to
Ella
to
Lone
Tree
elementary,
but
it's
a
loss
to
our
children.
K
L
Hello,
my
name
is
Douglas
Stewart
I've
been
in
the
school
district,
since
1987.
I
have
six
kids,
two
step:
kids,
a
niece,
a
nephew
and
eight
grandchildren
in
this,
going
through
the
school
district,
so
I've
been
here
a
while
and
I.
Just
could
not
let
this
moment
go
by
when
I
heard
about
Miss
Barry
without
coming
to
let
you
know
what
I
do
know
and
everything
that's
been
said
about.
Miss
Berry
is
true,
she's,
very
caring
and
kind.
You
cannot
reproduce
the
qualities
that
they
talk
about
here.
You
can.
L
It
takes
time
it
takes
desire
for
someone
to
become
an
employee
like
she
is
okay.
She
know
my
grandson
when
he
started
kindergarten.
His
father
had
passed
me
in
six
months
as
of
an
aneurysm
and
when
I
started
taking
the
school
she
knew
she
knew
his
details
about
his
life
and
his
mother
just
passed
recently,
and
she
knew
she.
She
knows
me.
She
knew
me
before
I
knew
her
and
Mrs
Berry
is
very
passionate
about
her
job.
She
would
pull
my
grandson
aside,
knowing
that
he
lost
both
parents
and
counsel
him.
L
She
brings
him
into
the
office.
Lets
him.
You
know
pet,
her
dog
and
she's
concerned
when
the
when
the
other
employee
passed
away,
one
of
the
yardleys
passed
away.
She
immediately
recognized
that
my
grandson
was
affected
by
it
and
she
called
me.
She
talked
to
me,
and
so
you
can't
you
can't
duplicate
this
kind
of
passion,
and
so
this
is
what
I
do
know.
L
Okay
and
so
I've
been
a
part
of
this
District
a
long
time,
I've
called
school
board
members
and
I've
had
I've
dealt
with
every
aspect
of
the
school
district
and
I
can
tell
you
that
I
had
my
my
grandson,
his
brother.
He
went
to
school
at
Dallas
ranch
and
he
fell
through
the
cracks
they
had
a
upper.
They
had
a
class
there
that
was
specially
designed
the
teacher
retired
and
that
class
just
just
be
dispersed.
Okay
and
then,
when
he
went
to
the
high
school
the
pandemic
hit,
he
fell
through
the
cracks.
L
We
spent
fifty
thousand
dollars
putting
him
in
a
private
school
all-inclusive
private
school
for
a
year,
and
he
just
came
back
right
before
his
mother
passed.
Those
are
the
kind
of
employees
that
are
dealing
with
those
situations.
Let
them
fall
through.
The
cracks
for
a
whole
year
without
having
the
IEP
those
are
type
employees.
You
should
be
looking
into
okay,
one
other,
egregious
Opera
thing
that
happened.
You
know
in
my
history
here
I
had
a
son
very
smart,
but
he
was
you
know
he
he
would
not
return
his
homework.
L
L
B
L
H
M
Hi
guys
Oh
no
you're
fine,
my
name
is
Deidra
charlary
I
have
three
students.
Next
year,
I
have
my
fourth
student
at
Lone
Tree
elementary
we've
been
there
for
two
years
last
year
was
a
huge
transition.
We
moved
from
the
East
Coast,
my
kids
were
homeschooled
for
two
years,
so
they've
had
so
many
transitions.
My
second
grader
he
was
first
grader
at
that
time.
M
First
time
being
in
school,
all
he
would
talk
about
was
Miss
Berry,
Miss,
Barry,
Miss
Barry,
and
at
that
time
I
was
a
little
reserved
and
didn't
know
too
many
people
and
I
asked
them
about
Miss,
Berry
and
then
finally,
getting
into
the
school
I
was
like
he's
like
there's
Miss
Barry.
He
would
make
sure
to
show
her
make
sure
come
into
this
year.
I
had
a
kindergartner.
He
recently
was
diagnosed
with
autism,
but
we
were
in
the
in
between
stages
and
I.
M
Hadn't
had
a
full
diagnosis
yet,
but
I
went
to
the
office,
he
was
having
a
hard
time
getting
out
the
car.
We
were
in
the
parking
lot.
I
was
there
for
about
20
minutes.
I
said:
is
there
anybody
in
the
office
who
can
help
me
so
miss
Barry
came
out
no
IEP,
nothing
in
place,
but
she
just
came
out
of
her
office
came
to
the
car
in
the
parking
lot
had
talked
to
him.
She
stood
there
for
about
30
minutes
almost
an
hour
to
help
him
get
out
the
car
and
transition
out
the
car.
M
I
have
a
13
year
old,
so
I've,
my
kids
have
been
throughout
the
school
district.
I
have
barely
seen
these
principles
in
action.
You
always
see
them
in
the
office.
You
always
see
here
see
them
here,
see
him
there.
If
you
have
a
problem,
that's
when
they
come
to
you.
Miss
Barry
is
not
like
that.
You
see
her
all
the
time
she
makes
herself
present.
She
makes
herself
visible
and
that's
something
that
you
can't
find
there's
a
lot
of
principles
that
hide
themselves
in
that
office
and
Miss.
Mary
won't
do
that.
M
So
when
we
heard
about
the
confusion
and
everything
at
the
school,
it's
been
hard
on
our
kids.
It's
been
hard
on
our
parents.
If
we
feel
it,
we
see
it.
People
come
to
pick
up
their
kids
and
they're
like
where's
Miss
Berry,
it's
a
lot
going
on
and
we
just
need
to
get
back
to
a
school.
So
we
need
to
whatever
the
conflict
is.
We
need
our
principal
back.
We
need
to
earn
full
force
and
we
need
to
focus
on
what
the
education
our
kids
are
lacking
from.
N
N
N
This
is
my
middle
child.
She
is
the
most
patience
for
him.
She
will
call
me
like
she
said.
Good
or
bad
I
have
been
like
I
said
through
four
districts
prior
to
Antioch.
I
have
never
seen
a
principal
put
in
the
effort
that
Miss
Barry
puts
in
especially
with
what
our
African-American
my
son
is
biracial.
Well,
they
are
going
through
and
will
continue
to
go
through
in
their
life.
N
N
I'm
sorry
again,
I
just
found
about
this
this
morning,
so
I
can't
imagine
how
many
parents
that
feel,
just
like
all
of
us
have
spoken,
feel
the
same
exact
way.
If
not
more,
we
all
have
our
own
experiences
with
Miss
Berry.
They
are
all
very
different
and
they
just
let
you
know
the
volume
of
the
impact
she
has
and
we
all
know
hate
to
say.
Antioch
School
District
is
not
the
best
District.
N
N
So
just
so
you
know
this
small
percentage
of
people
is
not
the
amount
of
kids
that
this
would
be
impacting
and
we
have
other
children
that
will
be
going
too
Lone
Tree
because
we
live
in
that
area
and
what
are
the
what's?
Their
Futures,
like
my
son,
is
completely
opposite.
I
don't
deal
with
any
behavior
issues,
any
of
that
she
made
sure
she
would
check
on
him
like
they
said
there
are
how
many
children
are
Lone
Tree.
She
is
checking
on
our
children
individually,
pulling
them
in
her
office
time.
N
A
Please
Shannon
Brinson
Bryce
Branson.
D
Good
evening
my
name
is
Shannon
Brinson
and
my
daughter
goes
to
Lone
Tree
Elementary
I
ask
for
your
patience,
because
I
have
a
extreme
fear
of
public
speaking
like
most
parents,
I
worried
about
my
daughter
starting
school
since
I've
been
a
stay-at-home
mom
and
she's
never
been
away
and
she's
had
three
angels
that
started
in
her
first
year
and
it
was
Miss
Brown,
Miss,
Kathy
and
Miss
Berry,
and
while
Miss
Brown
and
Miss
Kathy
went
above
and
beyond
to
do
what
they
had
to
do.
D
D
Thank
you
and
my
daughter's
always
been
strong
and
independent,
and
after
that
she
became
scared
of
everything
and
Miss
Barry
started
pulling
her
out
of
class
to
check
on
her
and
she
made
it
her
personal
mission
to
go
above
and
beyond
to
relight.
The
spark
that
my
daughter
had
lost
when
my
daughter
became
ill
Miss
very
reached
out
to
check
on
her
and
offered
to
bring
her
her
schoolwork
to
my
house,
so
that
I
didn't
have
to
get
her
out
to
go
pick
it
up
and
when
she
was
dealing
with
the
trauma.
D
D
D
O
This
evening
and
parents
we
love
Miss
Fury,
and
that's
why
we're
here?
There
is
a
lot
more
parents
and
students
that
wanted
to
attend
today
or
tonight,
but
we
knew
that
there
was
not
enough
room,
so
we
said
we
would
be
here
in
support
for
them.
I,
don't
know
the
reason
why
Miss
Ferry
is
going
through
what
she's
going
through,
but
I
think
we
all
need
answers
and
something
needs
to
be
done
about
this.
She
has
helped
my
granddaughter
at
that
school.
O
O
We
love
her
very
much
I,
don't
have
too
much
to
say
because,
like
I
said,
I'm
somewhat
new
to
the
school
and
getting
to
know
the
parents,
but
by
sitting
in
my
car
I
can
hear
parents
talking
and
a
lot
of
parents
want
to
be
here.
I
mean
you
have
not
seen
the
magnitude
of
how
they
feel
about
this
principle.
So
I
do
hope
that
you
guys
talk
about
this,
make
decisions
and
try
to
make
this
better
for
all
of
us
and
for
our
children
for
number
one
for
our
children.
Thank
you.
So
much.
A
And
so
the
last
speaker
car
for
this
item
is
Brandi
Anderson.
G
Hello,
so
my
name
is
Brandy.
I
am
a
Mom
of
eight.
Six
of
my
eight
children
have
attended
Long
Street
Elementary
under
the
leadership
of
Crystal
Berry
I've,
seen
it
all
through
the
covet
through
the
shutdown,
everything
bullying,
everything
with
Miss
Barry
we
have
been
through
the
first
thing
I
want
to
bring
up
is
when
we
got
shut
down.
The
school
district
didn't
know
what
was
going
on.
Well,
let
me
back
it
up.
I
am
a
community
health
care
nurse.
G
So
I
was
on
the
front
lines
of
not
knowing
what
was
going
on
parents,
teachers,
the
schools
we
didn't
know
what
was
going
on.
Miss
Barry
took
it
upon
herself
and
her
daughter
to
make
sure
that
the
kids
had
computers
worked
to.
She
walked
blocks
and
blocks.
As
everybody
said,
she
is
the
Diva
of
all
times
at
our
school
and
she
takes
care
of
business
and
heals
and
snows
rain
whatever
and
she
walked
blocks
and
blocks
to
make
sure
that
the
kids
had
their
computers.
They
had
Wi-Fi.
G
They
had
printed
out
packages
as
she
was
doing
that
she
learned
that
some
of
the
kids
weren't
eating,
because
some
of
our
kids
go
to
school
to
have
free
lunch
and
they
eat.
She
got
back
in
her
car
to
load
up
her
car
with
food
to
make
sure
that
those
kids
had
food
when
their
parents
were
was
working.
The
front
line
as
myself,
Miss
Berry,
has
been
an
amazing
educator.
Parent,
like
she's,
been
awesome
to
everyone
and,
like
everyone
said
she
greets
our
children
by
their
names.
I
have
high
schoolers.
G
Now,
all
the
way
from
high
school
to
kindergarten
now
and
Miss
Mary
has
made
it
a
point
to
make
sure
that
she
brings
up
my
other
children
when
she
addressed
my
younger
children.
Miss
Barry
would
be
greatly
missed.
Some
people
have
the
education,
some
people
have
the
experience,
and
some
people
have
the
passion.
It's
very
rare
when
you
get
all
three,
and
that
is
what
she
is
Miss
Barry,
my
youngest
daughter,
is
in
the
kindergarten
she
calls
my
daughter,
princess
Zora.
G
My
daughter
calls
her
unicorn
fairy.
Unicorn
Berry
is
who
she
calls
her,
because
she
is
a
unicorn.
She
does
all
things
for
these
children.
She
loves
them,
she's,
passionate
about
them
and,
like
other
parents
have
said,
we
will
be
forced
to
take
our
children
out
of
the
Lone
Tree
elementary
if
we
lose
Miss
Barry,
also
because
she
makes
it
comfortable
for
all
of
our
black
and
brown
children
to
come
to
school
and
not
be
picked
on
not
be
racially
profiled
not
be
bullied
on.
We
want
Miss
Mary
to
come
to
work
comfortably.
G
We
want
her
to
be
comfortable
coming
to
work
and
showing
up
so
that
she
can
work
in
her
best
power
and
ability,
so
whoever
these
teachers
the
allegations
that
they
want
her
to
be
removed.
You
need
to
leave
Miss
Mary
alone,
because
she
has
a
whole
Powerhouse
behind
her
and
that's
what
we
are
asking
that
you
guys
stepped
up
as
a
board
or
whatever
and
let
it
be
known
and
let
Ms
Berry
feel
that
we
are
protecting
her.
A
Okay,
so
just
we
want
to
make
clear
that
we
cannot
respond
for
these
this
section,
so
just
so
folks
are
clear.
Thank
you
for
that
and
so
section
6B.
These
are
individuals
to
address
the
board
regarding
items
not
on
the
agenda
from
District
employees,
and
so
the
the
first
one
is
Missouri
Wong.
P
Cereal
I'm,
a
little
short
sorry
I'm,
a
little
nervous
here,
so
I've
been
a
parent
at
Lone
Tree
for
the
past
12
years
and
in
my
opinion,
Miss
Berry
has
been
the
best
principal
so
far.
She
is
so
nurturing
and
caring
to
all
the
students
she
treats
them
all
equally
extremely
easy
to
talk
to
and
very
welcoming
to
the
parents.
My
daughter
here
was
having
a
difficult
time
in
school
with
some
other
students
and
when
it
was
brought
to
miss
Barry's
attention.
P
She
handled
it
immediately
before
that
it
was
brought
to
another
admin
and
it
took
about
four
months:
I
kept
getting
the
run
around
about
it,
but
once
I
went
to
miss,
bear
she
handled
it
within
a
day
and
now
my
daughter
says
she's
never
felt
safer
than
ever
thanks
to
miss
Barry
and
that's
all
I
want
for
her
to
enjoy
school
and
to
feel
safe
there
as
a
staff
member
I
love
working
with
Miss
Berry,
although
I
haven't
been
an
official
staff
member
until
last,
September
I
still
feel
she's
doing
a
great
job.
P
Previously,
I
was
a
parent
volunteer
for
the
years
that
she
has
been
at
Lone.
Tree
and
throughout
those
years,
she's
always
made
me
feel
welcomed
my
family
and
I
love,
Miss,
Barry
and
I
hope
she
can
continue
to
be
our
principal
at
Lone
Tree,
because
the
students
need
someone
who
truly
cares
for
what's
best
for
them
and
I
believe
that's
Miss
Berry.
Thank
you.
Q
For
me,
I've
noticed
some
changes
along
the
whole
District
like
I'll,
just
be
blank
and
say
Miss
odobati
from
Deer
Valley,
High
School
was
forced
out
by
teachers
and
we
weren't
really
informed
of
what
the
reason
was,
but
she
felt
so
much
pressure
in
coming
to
work
that
she
resigned
and
it's
been
a
attack.
Q
I
would
say
for
whether
it's
teachers
of
colors
principles
of
color,
maybe
just
people
of
power
and
color,
like
my
like
we'll
stated
earlier,
my
daughter
was
literally
giving
away
by
a
teacher
from
Diablo
Vista
and
that
teacher
still
has
her
job.
Why
wasn't
she
put
in
question?
Why
wasn't
she
put
on
administrative
leave
or
something
my
daughter
would
not
go
back
to
school?
Q
She
would
not
go
back
to
school
until
we
told
her
Miss
Barry
was
at
Long
Tree
Elementary
Miss
Berry
made
her
feel
safe
to
go
back
to
school,
so
whatever
beef
us
as
adults
have
we
need
to
recognize
that
it
affects
the
children.
It's
not
just
affecting
us
as
affects
the
children.
My
daughter
was
so
scared
to
go
back
to
school.
Q
Miss
Barry
walked
her
to
class
every
day
literally
came
and
got
her
and
walked
her
to
class
every
day
my
daughter
gets
gives
grades
just
to
have
lunch
with
Miss
Barry
Miss
Barry
has
fought
through,
like
she
said,
breast
cancer
to
get
back
to
her
kids,
because
every
kid
in
that
school
she
considers
her
kid.
She
takes
that
personal
relationship
with
them
and
to
get
rid
of
a
principal
like
that.
You
would
be
getting
rid
of
not
only
her
but
you'll,
be
getting
rid
of
a
community.
Q
Look
behind
you
as
an
employee,
I,
sit
and
wonder
what
are
we
doing
to
fix
the
problems
instead
of
attack
the
problems
because,
like
I
said
we're
literally
attacking
our
children,
literally
I've
stepped
onto
campuses,
where
sometimes
I
go
on
just
to
see
if
somebody
will
say
something
because
I
work
at
site
safety
to
see.
If
somebody
will
stop
me
and
say
Hey,
sir,
are
you
looking
for
something
hey,
sir?
Q
Can
we
help
you
and
there's
many
campuses
that
don't
Miss
Barry
will
come
to
the
gate
and
even
if
it's
a
man
and
say
Hey,
sir,
do
you
need
something?
Do
you
need
some
direction
to
go
somewhere
and
that's
not
only
safety,
that's
showing
how
much
she
cares.
She
puts
herself
on
the
front
line
and
just
to
end
on
a
lighter
note,
who
else
is
going
to
rock
heels
like
that
and
still
teach
these
children.
A
And
so
the
last
speaker
card
that
we
have
is
from
Lone
Tree
staff.
P
Hello,
everybody
knows
this
time
Jamie
and
this.
P
R
R
So
she
supported
my
program
and
work
with
all
the
kids
that
speak
another
language
at
home
and
she
is
give
me
some
direction
how
to
do
it
and
do
it
better
for
the
kids.
So
that's
I
love
to
work
with
her
I
love
to
work
with
her
and.
F
R
H
J
R
A
A
S
A
Yeah
so
move
so
we're
going
to
move
section
11
up
to
here,
yeah,
so
I
have
a
motion:
do
I
have
a
proper
second.
Second,
all
in
favor,
aye
aye
all
opposed
okay,
so
11
we
will
go
there.
So
the
first
item
is
disclosure
of
ratification
of
the
tentative
agreement
between
Antioch
Unified,
School,
District
and
Antioch
Education
Association
for
2022
2023,
and
we
have
one
speaker
card
for
this.
You.
R
A
T
Bob
Carson
yep
good
evening,
superintendent,
anello
and
board
members.
My
name
is
Bob
Carson
I'm,
a
teacher
at
Park,
Middle
School,
but
I'm
here
tonight,
as
the
chairperson
for
the
Antioch
Education
Association.
So
we
as
you're
aware
we
we
reached
an
agreement,
I
guess
on
February
9th
with
ausd.
Our
members
ratified
that
agreement
with
extremely
positive
Support
over
the
last
week
or
so
so
we
are.
We
are
here
tonight
to
say
thank
you
to
Dr
Martinez
and
his
team
Liz
and
Mr
John,
gymno
and
dacus.
T
Everyone
worked
really
hard,
including
These
Fine
people
standing
beside
me
who
who
are
on
our
team.
T
You
know
we
didn't
agree
on
every
issue
right,
but
we
came
to
found
that
common
ground
to
strike
a
fair
deal,
and
we
know
that
the
deal
will
help
the
students
of
Antioch
and
it
will
help
our
members
and
it
will
help
Antioch
to
be
able
to
to
hire
and
retain
the
staff
we
have
already.
So
we
just
want
to
say.
Thank
you
one.
T
One
additional
thing,
though,
aea
is
part
of
the
East
Bay
Coalition
for
Student,
Success
and
I,
know
that
there
is
a
award
given
to
districts
when
we've
concluded
negotiations
and
and
reached
the
goals
that
the
East
Bay
Coalition
has.
And
so
we
expect
to
have
that
at
the
next
board
meeting
to
to
present
to
the
superintendent
and
to
your
team,
to
say
thank
you
and,
and
thank
you
for
supporting
the
students
of
Antioch.
So
that's
it
thanks.
C
I
move
I,
move
the
ratification
and
agreement
between
California
school.
Let's
try
again
ratify
the
agreement
between
the
agreement
between
the
Antioch
Unified
School
District,
the
Antioch
Education
Services,
2022-23,
okay,.
C
A
The
motion
carries
four
zero
with
one
absence:
okay,.
C
A
A
Item
D,
Senior,
Management,
salary,
scale,
schedule,
salary,
salary
schedule
and
benefits
adjustment.
Any
discussion
from
the
board.
A
Okay,
so
I
have
a
move:
I
have
a
motion
and
proper
second,
all
in
favor,
aye
aye
any
opposed.
The
motion
carries.
A
A
Finally,
for
a
number
action
items,
section
11
is
Services
agreement
with
Robert
Vogel
education,
Magician
on
behalf
of
Diablo
Vista
Elementary
School.
Any
discussion
from
the
board.
C
A
Any
opposed
the
motion
carries
all
right,
so
we
will
return
to
the
scheduled
order
and
continue
with
the
agenda
as
presented.
A
Okay,
all
right,
so
item
number
is
seven
district
reports.
There
are
none
item,
eight
hearings.
There
are
none
public
presentations,
there
are
none
consent
items
so
yeah,
so
are
there
any
that
need
to
be
pulled
out
or
anybody
any
that
require
further
discussion.
J
C
Just
wanted
to
bring
it
out
as
a
a
great
idea:
okay,
otherwise
I
move
approval.
A
to
oh
I'm,
sorry
I'm,
sorry
hold
up.
F
So
one
of
my
questions
for
d10
is
the
addendum
to
agreement
with
ever
driven
Technologies,
LLC
and
I.
Look
through
the
contract
and
I
did
not
see
how
many
students
they
serve
and
that's
one
of
the
questions.
I've
asked
a
couple
of
times
whenever
we
have
contracts
like
what
are
the
what's
the
scope
of
work,
the
deliverables,
how
many
students
will
be
served
so
just
another
reminder
if
you
could
please,
if
we're
spending
a
hundred
and
fourteen
thousand
dollars
like
I,
said
five
students
being
served,
100
students,
what
is
it?
Okay,
I
think.
J
F
A
F
A
So
moving
forward,
the
ask
is
to
add
metrics
or
deliverables
I'm.
Sorry,.
G
A
Right
so
we
discussed
item
11.,
and
so
we
will
be
moving
on
to
items
12
items
for
information,
discussion,
action
by
by
board
item
a
is
presented
by
trustee
Hernandez
who's,
not
with
us
tonight
so
I
ask
that
we
postponed
that
to
next.
The
next
meeting,
Item
B
is
brought
by
trustee
Roche
and
I,
and
the
ausd
City
of
Antioch
standing
committee.
Would
you
like
to
start
trustee
Roger
well.
C
A
All
right,
so
it
sounds
trusty
Lathan.
Do
you
have
any
objection?
Okay,
all
right.
So
we
can
move
the
items
for
information
and
discussion
to
our
next
board
meeting,
which
is
March
8th,
all
right.
So
that's
items
a
b
and
c.
Yes,
so
13
resolutions
for
first
readings.
There
are
none
item,
14
resolutions
for
immediate
action,
there's
one.
This
is
resolution.
2022
2338
authorizing
the
submission
of
a
Grant
application
to
the
Bay
Area
Air
Quality,
Management
District.
S
E
F
C
S
A
So
I'll
entertain
a
motion
to
approve
this
resolution.
A
Right
so
we
have
a
first
and
a
proper
second,
all
in
favor
aye
aye
aye
any
opposed.
The
motion
carries
so
item
15
resolutions
for
second
reading
in
action.
There
are
none
item,
16
to
revive
I'm,
sorry,
board
policies
for
first
reading
we
have
one
revised
board:
bylaw
9323
meeting
conduct.
Yes,.
E
This
is
a
result
of
Senate
bill,
1100
I
believe
yes
1100
about
meeting
conduct
and
it
is
following
csba's
recommendation.
I
would
ask
the
board
to
approve.
A
Okay,
all
right
so
item:
seven.
Is
there
any
discussion
on
this
item?
No
okay.
Okay
item
17
board
policies
for
second
reading
in
action.
There
are
several.
The
first
is
revised
board
policy.
4200
classified
Personnel,
mm-hmm.
C
A
I
have
a
motion
on
the
floor
to
approve
items
17
a
through
17
H
right,
a
second,
a
second
okay.
It's
moved
and
properly
seconded
excuse
all
in
favor
aye
all
opposed.
The
motion
carries
all
right,
so
number
18
information
items
for
general
information,
a
is
the
revised
administrative
rule,
4200
classified
personnel.
A
All
right,
so
we
will
move
to
19.
mm-hmm
future
agenda
items
from
board
members
I,
so
I
do
want
to
clarify.
In
the
last
few
board
meetings,
we
had
conversations
enlisted
a
number
of
items.
We
are
going
to
address
all
of
those
items,
but
you
know.
Obviously
we
can't
address
all
the
items
in
every
meeting,
so
we
are
sort
of
having
an
appropriate
number
of
items
per
meeting,
but
we
will
be
exhausting
that
entire
list
sort
of
as
the
year
progresses.
F
One
of
the
wonderings
that
I
have
or
suggestion
is
so,
for
example,
we
have
two
items
that
or
three
items
that
will
be
moved
to
the
next
agenda
so
that
we
can
have
a
full
board
is
for
us
to
have
some
kind
of
calendar
because,
like
I've
shared,
my
you
know,
wants
for
a
couple
of
things
on
here
and
it
hasn't
been
and
I
don't
know
when
it's
coming.
F
So
if
we
can
just
kind
of
organize
ourselves
and
say
all
right
like
we
know,
these
three
are
going
to
be
on
the
next
one
because
we
just
agreed
on
it.
So
then,
what
about
the
other
things
that
we've
talked
about?
When
are
they
going
to
be
placed?
So
it's
just
that
we
are
aware
and
as
a
board
and
know
that,
because
a
lot
of
things
that
we
bring
up
are
because
of
community.
This
is
something
that
they
want
and
they
need
to
know
when
it's
going
to
be
on
the
calendar
on
the
agenda.
A
Okay
item
20
additional
comments
which
exceeded
the
first
30
minute
session
limit.
There
are
none
21
reports
or
comments
from
board
members
trustee
Rocha.
C
D
F
And
I
visit
schools,
mostly
on
a
weekly
basis.
Most
of
the
principals
have
signed
up
and
it's
been
tremendously
eye-opening
fun.
You
know
getting
to
know
the
principal
staff,
students
and
occasional
parents
when
they're
there
and
so
I
just
want
to
and
I
can't
shout
out
every
school.
The
principals
know
that
I
told
them
you'll
get
one
shout
out
one
time
at
some
point,
but
I
do
want
to
shout
out
Antioch
Middle,
School
I've,
you
know
the
principal
is
working
really
hard.
It's
an
older
building,
she's
trying
to
make
it
work
for
the
students.
F
They
had
a
program
where
kids
were
just
full
of
joy
in
the
auditorium
where
they
were
learning
with
the
outside
provider.
So
I
just
wanted
to
give
the
school
the
staff
a
shout
out
and
yeah.
That's
about
that's
that
for
that
piece,
and
then
also
we
had
a
study
session,
they're,
always
public
and
about
a
week
or
two
ago,
and
we
agreed
to
have
future
study
sessions,
which
is
something
we.
F
It
sounds
like
it's
new
for
this
board
and
so
I
just
look
forward
to
getting
our
next
dates
down
so
that
we
can
start
talking
about
a
governance
model
and
governance.
Calendar
we've
talked
about
that.
We
really
want
to
serve
you
all
the
public
in
a
really
effective
way,
which
means
we're
coming
together
as
a
cohesive
body
and
so
I
just
want
to.
Let
you
all
know
we
are
working
on
that
and
we're
waiting
on
dates.
A
And
so
we
are
thank
you
for
that.
We
are
as
Dr
Lathan
our
trustee
trustee,
Dr
Lathan
suggest
stated.
We
are
working
to
get
things
on
calendar
and
sort
of
develop
an
order.
So
that
way
we
can
make
logical
sense
of
some
of
the
some
of
the
decisions
that
we
need
to
make
and
move
the
district
forward.
You
know
I
think
responding
to
things
as
they
happen.
A
A
So
one
of
the
things
that
happened
over
the
last
couple
weeks
is
trustee.
Dr
Lathan
mentioned
is
we
had
the
board
governance
meeting?
We
will
be
scheduling
those
meetings,
additional
meetings
coming
up.
A
Another
thing
that
happened
is
the
PTA
dinner
and
I.
Think
all
the
three
of
us
attended.
It
was
a
wonderful
event
hosted
by
community
members.
Four.
There
were
four
of
us
trustee
Hernandez
as
well
my
apologies,
and
so
that
was
a
great
great
way
for
us
to
see
and
hear
from
the
community
and
sort
of
engage
with
the
community
and
then
lastly,
this
past
weekend
there
was
an
African-American
African-American
I'm,
sorry,
I
have
Black
History,
Month
breakfast,
and
so
that
was
attended
by
community
members
was
hosted
by
community
members.
A
A
Thank
you
for
that
anything.
Additional
trustee,
Roger.
C
Well,
I
went
to
the
d-lac
meeting
for
marsh
and
there
is
an
event
coming
up
which
I
will
announce
later,
but
is
Dia
de
los
Ninos
and
it's
in
April
and
they're
planning.
What's
wonderful
is
to
see
the
parents
pull
together
ideas
and
they
have
funding
they've
raised
over
a
thousand
dollars
and
they
intend
to
do
a
nice
big
event.
A
Thank
you
and
I
do
have
one
more
I
know.
Trustee
Hernandez
typically
shares
a
book
that
he's
reading
that
he
wants
to
share
and
sort
of
in
that
Spirit
I've
been
working
with
a
local
author
and
we
are
going
to
be
presenting
I,
believe
it's
at
Fremont
Elementary
not
presenting,
but
we're
going
to
be
working
in
Reading
doing
a
reading
session
for
kiddos
first
through
third
grade
and
that'll
be
coming
up
and
I
can
get
folks.
The
information
if
they're.
A
Not
Monday,
but
it
is
coming
up.
I
think
we're
still
finalizing
the
day
for
the
teacher
to
come
in
so
we'll
be
reading
to
three
classrooms.
I
will
also
be
purchasing
books
for
those
classrooms.
So
that
way
the
kiddos
cannot,
you
know
they
can
hear
the
story,
and
then
they
can
actually
get
a
copy
of
the
book
from
the
author.
So
you
know
I
think
that
that's
you.
C
I'm
going
on
Monday
yeah
on
the
28th
yeah.
A
F
Have
future
medium
information,
excellence
and
Equity
audits
I
would
love
that
to
be
on
the
agenda.
I,
don't
think
it's
a
long
item,
but
I
do
want
to
talk
to
the
board
the
staff
about
what
they
are
and
how
they
could
potentially
help
us
understand,
root
causes
of
what's
happening
in
our
schools,
so
that
we
can
all
be
high.
Performing
I
talk
about
a
the
black
box.
It's
an
old
school
article
on
in
education,
where
it
talks
about,
like
their
t-shirts,
are
working
really
hard.
F
Administrators
are
working
really
hard
here
and
then
we
have
these
outcomes,
and
parents
said
it
today,
like
they're,
not
always
the
best
outcomes
in
our
district.
Yet
I
have
faith
that
they
will
be
one
day
and
then
there's
this
black
box
right.
So
you
go
in,
you
don't
see
what's
happening
and
then
you
have
outcomes
and
with
the
equity
and
Excellence
audit
does
what.
