Apopka Youth Council presents their 2022 Florida League of Cities Youth Council Video:
The Apopka Youth Council (AYC) is comprised of civic-minded youth that are also known as the “Change Agents” of Apopka. AYC has made a positive impact by working as change agents to foster continuous improvement in the Apopka community.
The video starts at the creation of our Apopka Youth Council in 2019 and revisits our projects on recycling, book clean-up, “I Love Apopka” campaign, and our World Teen Mental Wellness Day video and proclamation.
AYC is always looking towards the future and discovering ways to connect our youth and community. Our City events and recruitment program allow us to be the “Change Agents” that impact not only the present, but the future of Apopka.
