Arlington
County
has
expanded
the
Barcroft

fitness
centers
gymnastics
studio
to
double
the
space.
That
means
room
for
more
classes
and
more
gymnasts.
We
recently
hosted
a
ribbon-cutting
and
open
house,
and
the
Barcroft
Center

now
open

In
addition
to
the

keeping
our

safe
for
everybody
who
uses
them
is
a
crucial
part
of
the
work
that
Arlington's
Department
of
Environmental
Services
performs.
We
recently
spoke
with
Jessica
Baxter
about
some
new
improvements
on
Wilson
Boulevard
that
are
making
it
safer
and
easier
for
pedestrian,
bikers
and
drivers
to
share
our

Arlington
county
is
committed
to
expanding
travel
options
for
the
all
those
who
live,
work
and
play
here.
As
part
of
that
commitment,
our
design
engineers
are
constantly
looking
for
ways
to
improve
safety
along
our
streets
to
better
accommodate
drivers,
bicyclists
pedestrians
and
transit
users.
You
may
have
noticed
this
on

Boulevard
between

C
We're
at
the
intersection
of
Livingston
and
Wilson
Boulevard,
where
you
can
see
that
we
put
down
some
paint
and
some
ballers
that
helped
predator
define
the
space
used
by
pedestrians,
bicyclists
and
motorists
right
here.
You
can
see
that
we've
made
the
crossing
distance
shorter
and
we've
narrowed
the
roadway
so
that
people
turning
onto
neighborhood
streets
will
do
so
in
a
slower
speed
and.
