Hi I'm county manager, Marc Schwartz I, wanted to take a minute to talk to all of you about the impact of the federal government shutdown in our community. Having myself been a federal employee I understand the impact that this is having on a number of families and businesses in our community.

Our concern is that a number of our residents and businesses are suffering in order to address this. The county has set up a website may urge you all to go. Take a look at wwr, Ellington, VA, u.s. backslash shut down on that site.

You'll find a number of resources that we have put together, that we hope you'll take advantage of our Department of Human Services, our Department of libraries and our Department of Parks and Recreation, along with our friends at Arlington, Public Schools have set up a number of opportunities and a number of pieces of advice for you to take a look at to try to assist you we're going to update the website every day and to the extent there are questions that you have that you want to direct to us.

There really isn't we'll do the best we can to try to assist you through this difficult period and we hope, as I know all of you do that the shutdown ends as soon as possible. Thank you.
