A
Hi
and
welcome
back
my
name
is
jessica,
baxter,
public
information
officer
for
arlington,
county's,
public
health
division.
Here,
to
answer
your
most
pressing
questions,
I
am
a
college
student
who
is
leaving
campus
before
I
get
my
second
of
a
two
dose
vaccine
series.
How
can
I
get
my
second
dose?
Well,
there
are
a
few
options
you
can
take.
The
first
is
finding
your
second
dose
appointment
using
vaccines.gov
for
a
location
near
you.
If
you'd
like
to
go
through
one
of
our
clinics,
please
email
or
call
us
to
schedule
your
second
dose
appointment.
A
I'm
taking
a
road
trip
to
visit
family
and
some
are
not
vaccinated.
How
do
I
keep
myself
and
them?
Safe
masks
are
no
longer
required
for
fully
vaccinated
individuals.
In
most
indoor
settings,
exceptions
include
public
transit,
k-12
schools,
congregate,
settings
and
health
care
facilities.
Remember,
individual
businesses
can
also
still
require
masks.
The
reason
for
this
change
is
that
there
is
a
growing
body
of
evidence
that
suggests
that
fully
vaccinated
people
are
less
likely
to
spread
the
virus.
A
Anyone
that
is
not
yet
vaccinated
or
not
yet
fully
vaccinated
should
continue
to
follow.
Precautions
such
as
wearing
masks
and
physical
distancing
when
in
the
vicinity
of
people
that
are
not
in
their
immediate
household
people
who
are
immunocompromised,
are
advised
to
talk
to
their
health
care
providers
about
their
activities.
