Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
B
Again,
thank
you
all
for
for
attending
and
going
through
this
presentation
with
us.
We
do
appreciate
your
time
and
we
won't
hold
you
for
very
long
before
we
get
too
far
into
this.
You
know
we
wanted
to
to
reach
out
to
the
business
owners,
those
that
that
operate
micro,
Mobility
commercial
products
within
the
county
to
kind
of
talk
about
some
changes
to
the
Arlington
County
fire
prevention
code,
and
really
we
want
to
work
together
with
with
all
of
you
regarding
this.
B
This
rule
change,
although
it
doesn't
necessarily
well
really
doesn't
affect
you
directly
indirectly,
it
does,
and
we
just
want
to
make
sure
that
you
know
we're
understanding
of
what
this
rule
is
or
what
this
new
code
is
and
and
kind
of
move
forward.
So
again,
we'll
run
through
this.
It's
only
about
six
or
seven
slides
it'll.
Just
give
you
a
little
bit
of
background
information,
we'll
talk
about
the
code
change
and
then
we
can
answer
questions
at
the
end.
Okay,
so
moving
along
again
last
thing:
I'll
say:
Nate
introduced
me.
B
My
name
is
Matthew
Cobb
I'm,
a
battalion
chief
with
the
Arlington
County
fire
department
and
I
am
the
Fire
official,
the
Chief
Fire
Marshal
for
the
county.
So
if
you
have
any
questions
or
anything
regarding
the
fire
code,
they
go
through
our
office
and
you
know
we
try
to
enforce
the
Statewide
Fire
code
as
equitably
as
possible,
along
with
the
the
fire
prevention
code
of
Arlington
County,
so
moving
right
along
so.
B
Second,
so
real
quick,
we
just
want
to
talk
about
the
2018
Virginia
Statewide
Fire
Prevention
code,
that
is
the
current
code
model
that
the
state
is
using
and
it's
what
the
Arlington
County
has
adopted
and
just
in
general
chapter
one
we
just
want
to.
Let
you
know
that
the
fire
prevention
code
gives
the
locality
the
ability
to
adopt
a
fire
prevention
regulation
that
may
be
more
restrictive
and
extensive
in
scope
from
the
Statewide
Fire
Prevention
code.
B
With
that
said,
what
we
are
dealing
with
specifically
here
is
chapter
three
General
requirements
and
that
covers
precautions
against
fire
and
the
spread
of
fire
and
general
requirements
of
fire
safety.
So
that's
kind
of
the
section
of
the
Statewide
Fire
Prevention
code
that
we're
discussing
here
today
and
we'll
talk
about
the
the
added
Arlington
County
regulation
moving
forward
with
regards
to
the
code
of
Arlington.
B
This
is
the
the
code
that
was
added
to
this
year
and
it
was
went
out
for
public
comment
and
it
was
approved
by
the
County
Board
and
that's
section
320..
What
320
discusses
is
the
recharging
and
storage
of
personal
electronic
Transportation
devices.
Again
this
is
a
local
regulation.
B
All
right,
except
for
the
following,
are
not
subject
to
the
above
requirements.
Number
one
are
Wheelchairs
and
other
Ada
related
mobile,
Mobility,
AIDS
or
devices,
and
traditional
higher
speed.
Transportation
devices
such
as
cars,
buses,
trucks
and
motorcycles.
Number
two
is
a
personally
owned.
Electronic
Transportation
device,
as
listed
above,
will
be
permitted
at
one
device
per
200
square
feet.
B
Section
320.1.1
is
just
how
that
power,
those
that
that
reside
here
in
Arlington
County
notify
to
this
and
the
person
in
control
or
management
agent
of
a
multi-family
residential
occupancies
shall
notify
their
tenant
or
occupants.
In
writing
the
prohibitions
outline
in
section
320.1
of
this
code.
Such
notification
shall
occur
when
the
tenant
or
occupant
initially
occupies
renews
a
lease
and
periodically
thereafter
as
may
be
necessary
to
ensure
compliance.
So
again,
this
is
this
code.
This
local
regulation
only
limits
the
charging
of
devices
and
multi-family
dwellings,
especially
when
it
comes
to
commercial
devices.
Okay,.
B
This
is
just
a
kind
of
a
overview
if
you
will,
or
or
informational
placard
kind
of
the
do's
and
don'ts
of
charging
based
on
the
code.
It's
it's
somewhat
self-explanatory
again.
What
we're
trying
to
curtail
is
any
possibility
of
commercially
owned
devices
being
charged
inside
of
a
residential
multi-family
dwelling.
B
B
What's
the
purpose
of
the
new
regulation
again,
we
want
to
try
to
reduce
the
possibility
of
increased
fire
loading
and
residential
apartments
and
Condominiums.
B
B
So
again,
this
regulation
is
not
intended
to
restrict
the
micro
Mobility
sector's
operational
footprint
in
Arlington
County
again.
This
is
designed
to
ensure
that
residents
who
live
in
multi-family
dwellings
are
not
charging
commercially
owned
devices.
Just
a
little
bit
of
information.
With
regards
to
some
statistics
again,
there's
a
lot
of
information-
that's
that
is
still
being
compiled.
There's
a
lot
of
Statistics
still
to
to
come,
but
we
do
know,
there's
been
a
significant
increase
in
micro,
Mobility
fires,
and
you
know
I
understand
that
you
know
this
is
not
you're.
B
Looking
through
your
lens
as
far
as
as
a
commercial
Enterprise,
we
understand
that
this
is
a
you
know,
a
a
larger
picture
if
you
will,
or
or
more
than
just
commercially
owned
devices
that
are
causing
these
right.
But
we
do
know
that
there's
there
is
a
significant
increase
with
micro,
Mobility
device
fires,
they've
led
to
to
five
deaths
in
in
New,
York,
City
and
dozens
of
injuries,
and
here
in
Arlington,
County,
again
26
square
miles.
B
So
why
are
we
here
today
and
and
what
are
we
asking
of?
You
is
again
we
just
want
to
have
a
partnership
with
with
each
of
you
and
hope
that
we
can
work
together
to
to
remind
folks
of
the
kind
of
the
do's
and
don'ts
right.
B
So
you
know
we're
asking
that
you
inform
your
Fleet
managers
that
you
know
charging
and
maintenance
of
these
devices
should
not
be
done
in
a
residential
space,
and
you
know
we
ask
that
you
know,
enforce
your
policies
as
as
much
as
you
possibly
can,
and
and
to
re-educate
your
staff
and
your
Fleet
managers
and
so
forth
on
what
should
be
done
with
regards
to
Transportation
storage
and
maintenance
of
the
micro
Mobility
devices.
B
B
You
know
what
on
the
right
is
some
of
the
things
that
we
want
to
try
to
avoid
right.
So
we
can
see
that
there's
a
Ford
pickup
truck
driving
around
picking
up
devices
they're
not
secured.
We
don't
know
where
they're
going
to,
and
you
know
that
that
gives
us
some
concern.
Obviously,
there's
a
scooter
down
below
that's
on
fire
and
that's
what
we
want
to
try
to
avoid.
B
So
again,
we
just
want
to
make
sure
that
that
looking
at
your
websites
and
your
information
with
regards
to
what
Fleet
managers
should
be
doing
as
far
as
proper
warehouse
space
proper
vehicles
for
transporting
that
you
know
as
much
as
possible,
those
rules
are
being
followed.
B
That's
really,
you
know
the
extent
of
the
slideshow
we're
definitely
open
to
questions
again.
I
just
want
to
close
before
we
get
to
the
question
and
answer
session
and
say
that
you
know.
We
hope
that
we
can
work
together
and
make
sure
that
your
Fleet
Management
staff
here
in
Arlington
County
work
with
us
make
sure
everybody's
singing
on
the
same
sheet
of
music,
and
hopefully
we
can
avoid
some
of
the
pitfalls
that
we've
seen
in
other
cities
and
other
Urban
environments,
so
Nate
I
will
leave
it
to
you.
B
How
you
want
to
manage
the
questions
and
I
would
just
say,
we'll
try
to
answer
your
questions
as
best
possible
if
there's
something
that
we
need
to
to
do
some
research
on,
we
can
follow
up
with
that
in
email
form
back
to
everybody.
Okay,.
A
All
right,
thank
you,
Chief
Cobb.
If
anybody
has
any
questions,
please
just
raise
your
hand
or
type
them
in
the
chat,
and
we
will
do
the
best
we
can
to
answer
those
in
the
right
order.
So.
C
B
I
would
have
to
go
back.
I
don't
want
to
stay
off
the
the
tough
here,
but
I
can
definitely
find
out
exactly
what
they
were.
A
All
right
I'm
not
seeing
any
Chief
Cobb
if
anybody
would
like
to
reach
out
to
the
fire
prevention
office
after
this,
because
they've
thought
of
a
couple
questions,
what
would
be
the
best
way
for
them
to
get
hold
of
your
office.
B
Absolutely
we
can,
they
can
send
an
email
to
the
fire
code,
inquiry
email,
okay,
we
can
put
that
in
the
chat,
that'd
be
great
and
then
we
will
answer
those
as
soon
as
possible
to
everybody.
So
again
you
know
this
is
this
is
meant
to
ensure
the
safety
of
of
all
Arlington
residents
and
those
that
visit.
B
We
appreciate
your
time
and
hopefully
you
know
you
will
go
back
and
remind
your
Fleet
managers
of
you
know
the
proper
way
to
if
you
want
to
do
that,
air
quotes
proper
way
to
manage
your
Fleet,
and
hopefully
we
can
avoid
any
problems
down
the
road
so
I.
Thank
you.
A
Okay,
thank
you
all
very
much
again.
If
you
have
any
questions,
please
email,
the
fire
code,
inquiry
email,
which
is
in
the
chat,
and
we
will
send
out
a
copy
of
this
video
here
shortly.
