From YouTube: Fireworks Pizza
Description
One thing we love on our show is Pizza, so when we heard there was a new kid on the block with a wood fire oven, we just had to try it for ourselves. Fireworks Pizza in Courthouse will not only boasts about their unique and fresh ingredients, but they carry a full selection of Belgian beers, an amazing atmosphere and an all around great time. We end Season 1 of Food For Thought by trying a little bit of everything Fireworks has to offer.
A
B
Like
most
things,
it
was
never
really
planned.
My
brother
and
I
have
been
partners
out
in
loudoun
county
for,
as
I
mentioned,
about
18
years,
and
we
have
a
little
bakery
sandwich
place.
That
does
very
very
well
and
is
wildly
popular.
So
we
said
why
don't
we
just
do
pizza.
So
if
you
go
to
the
fireworks
the
original
one
in
leedsburg,
you
got
pizza
a
few
salads,
a
couple
appetizers
and
a
couple
sandwiches,
it's
very,
very
lean
and
mean,
but
it's
packed
it's
fantastic
and
it's
very,
very
popular
and.
B
B
Definitely
knew
we
wanted
fire
in
there.
We've
done
a
lot
of
research.
We've
done
a
lot
of
eating
pizza.
I
always
like
to
tell
people
I
gained
10
pounds
just
doing
research
and
development
anyway,
so
we
decided
that
fire
had
to
be
in
the
name.
Somehow
you
think
of
of
excitement,
you
think
of
a
celebration
and
that's
what
we
really
are.
The
celebration
of
food.
B
B
So
many
of
our
local
farmers
are
friends
and
regular
guests
of
our
restaurants,
but
if
I
wanted
to
have
a
really
destination
pizza
that
I
can
get
excited
about,
I'm
gonna
come
to
a
place
like
this
that's
wood-fired
and
using
natural
ingredients
and
local
things,
and
and
has
some
some
finesse
to
it.
Let's.
B
I
believe
that
belgian
beer
is
sort
of
the
classical
music
of
the
music
world.
They've
established
breweries
all
over
the
country
that
once
they've
mastered
their
art
and
they
have
their
following
then
they're
going
to
turn
their
hands
at
belgian
brewing.
I
think
that
they're,
the
finest
in
the
world.
B
That's
a
good
question,
because
sometimes
you
say
to
yourself:
this
is
what
I'm
going
to
drink.
What
do
I
want
to
eat
with
it
and
other
times
you
say
well,
this
is
what
I'm
going
to
eat.
What
do
I
want
to
drink
with
it?
The
hamburgers
here
I
mean
who
would
expect
with
the
burgers
here
are
really
great,
but
one
of
my
personal
favorites
is
the
barcelona
that
has
an
olive
spread
down
first
and
majon
cheese
and
roasted
red
peppers
and
things
that
aren't
even
on
a
lot
of
pizza
restaurants
menu.
B
A
C
C
You
just
kind
of
build
a
little
rim
out
to
the
edge,
that's
the
start
and
then
try
to
start
with
as
much
as
a
nice
circle
as
you
can.
So
it's
even
and
then
you
sort
of
stretch
this
way
while
you're
stretching
that
way.
With
the
other
hand,
you'll
never
see
us
use
a
rolling
pin,
because
that
just
flattens
the
dough,
all
the
little
air
bubbles
that
have
that
are
inside
will
just
be
smashed
out
and
then
you'll
have
none
of
that
character
that
I
like
so
much.
It
makes
me
slide
over
this
way.
C
A
D
Indeed,
most
I've
already
had
and
are
personal
preference
sort
of
choices,
but
something
new
that
I
know
has
come
up
from
somebody
big
or
the
next
hot
thing
or
whatever
it
may
be.
I
definitely
sit
down
and
try
it
before
we
put
it
on.
I
won't
just
go
by
word
of
mouth
alone.
We
want
to
make
sure
we
serve
what
not
only
we
want
here,
but
our
owners
are
into
too
as
well,
because
they're
huge
in
the
beer
industry.
They
have
been
in
this
area
locally
anyway
for
about
25
years
or
so.
A
D
Really
depends
on
personal
taste.
We
get
a
lot
of
people
here.
That
say
I
don't
like
dark
beer
and
I
don't
like
light
beer
and
we
try
to
educate
and
basically
say
you
know,
don't
limit
yourself
to
dark
and
light,
because
there
are
so
many
variances
between
each
one.
I
will
find
a
beer
that
you,
like.
I
promise
I
say,
tell
me
what
flavors
you
like
when
you
get
a
mixed
drink,
what
do
you
like
and
they'll
say
jack
and
coke
and
they'll
say
great?
D
We
have
this
awesome,
bourbon
barrel
age
that
gives
that
same
kind
of
vanilla,
burgundy,
flavor
that
you
like
about
your
jack
and
coke.
It's
in
a
beer,
try
this
and
then
before
you
know
it.
They
like
it,
also
pairings
for
some
of
the
beers
with
the
pizzas
and
the
the
ingredients
we
use,
try
to
work
off
of
that
too.
D
I
focus
on
what's
the
biggest,
what
stands
out
the
most
from
something
that
I
can
work
with?
That's
what
you're
going
to
pair
your
beer
with
not
necessarily
every
single
ingredient
so
like
an
example,
spicy
foods,
I
said
you
know
double
ipas
or
belgian
golden
ales
because
of
the
spice
characteristic
and
both
go
really
well
with
anything
with
sort
of
heat
to
it.
I
love
beer.
A
E
E
A
Good,
the
first
thing
you
take
in
is
the
smell
which
is
of
the
basil.
It's
great.
