There is one place, one time, where everyone can feel like a kid again. That place, the Arlington County Fair. With tons of rides, games, fun and of course...food, you know we had to come by this year and get our deep fried taste buds moving. The smell is in the air, and we're on the move...

Where can you find kids and adults having the time of their lives? Yes, the arlington county, fair. It's been entertaining residents for over 30 years from racing piglets and the ferris wheel to games, prizes and, of course, the greasy food. I can smell the corn dogs and funnel cakes everywhere, but to really enjoy the county fair experience. I always go with someone so today I brought along another arlington resident, my bro michael. Let the fair begin.

What do you think makes a county fair, a county, fair.

The carnival and the food is there a secret to a good, funnel cake fresh made.

We don't make them until somebody orders them. We have to wait a couple of minutes, but it's worth it so.

Karen, what do you like about the fair you like the ice cream? I like it everything I like everything too. We got that in common, don't we well. I went on the ferris wheel and the merry-go-round because I kind of can't take the roller coasters or anything.

How is it good yeah? It's really good! I like seeing the pig races and going on the ferris wheel and the magic carpet ride. Have you eaten anything yet not yet, but we're gonna get a funnel cake good. So how are you enjoying that funnel cake? It's really good. Do you come here every year? Yes, what's your favorite part.

You like that ice cream. I can see it all over your mouth. How about you two? Have you been on rides yet? No.

Are you gonna get on something yeah? Is this your first time at the county? Fair?

Did you win anything? What's that you want a ton of animals, let's see them. Oh good. Job have fun at the fair.

Definitely what we got here. We do a grilled chicken, once we grill the chicken off uh my co-worker pete seasoned it off with a uh caribbean, jerk chicken.

There's a lot of seasoning on that.

I know, but it is yeah yeah. That's that's the way. It's done. That's the way it's prepared and fixed. You can give it a more more zesty taste to it. Ribs have a dry rub on them. uh They have like a uh montreal, pepper, pepper, seasoning, with garlic, sauce and seasoning sauce. Now.

Yes, we are located on arlington, south chillington road in arlington virginia everything is done with a uh southern uh hospitality uh homestyle cook, but it's done in a restaurant, but it's all done with it with a southern homestyle recipe are.

You serious it's great, I mean for real, not for the camera. It's really good. Oh! This is great. Okay! Okay! I got another one for you. How do you get this so tender? ah We.

Would like, I would like your guys to taste this or you to taste that I see you like packing it up. Man right, you know what I mean. That's really that's good right and the young lady sitting right here, miss margaret. That is the one who does all the cooking everything we did. We learned from her.

Are you dizzy, I'm a little dirty yeah. I feel a little dizzy. It was great. It was lots of fun.

I've tried to beasts, but not a fried oreo, let's dip them in a little batter. First, it's like the ultimate snack. This is what makes the county fair county, fair, too nice and golden crisp. I was just expecting one, but all right, oh my god.

The oreos actually melted.

Again, the one with the handle- oh yeah, that's good.

Cheers really good, I wasn't expecting it to be melted in the middle.

Now I just need some fried milk to wash it.

Expect lots of fried food and to win one of those madness magnificent prizes all right. What I'm talking about.

We have chicken for yaki, we have pad thai, we have lumen, we have five right and spring roll bisquit lemonade.

Fresh squeezed, that's what I like on the squeezer. How many lemons will you go through this weekend.

Ferris wheel is always nice to go on it's classic the county, fair, although I like the fast ride. This is great too. What was the ride like? Well, it was kind of like like when it stopped. It was like really scary on the.

What's your favorite part about coming here, it's probably the zipper, so my friend and my brother are on it right now that was intense yeah. You guys kept spinning around who was making the girly screams. That was the person.

I thought it was gonna, be a little wimpy, but it's actually higher and faster down than I expected. What did you think they.

Oh, I got this store, not that bad. How many years have you been here coming first year? Second, do you ride the rides yeah we're at the scariest ride, but we we went on that one over there you sit and lie down. Have you been on super shot? Yet? No! No! No! That was scary. I thought it was. I think it looks like what about the food it's nice and fried.

What does the county fair mean to you if you had to sum it up in one sentence being out and get together having fun end of summer thing.
