Good morning and happy Friday I'm Kirby Clark- and this is my friend Griffin- there's a lot going on in Crystal City today as part of its First Fridays program at 3:00 p.m. take a coffee break and join us for the soft provoking TED. Talks screening, followed by a discussion of the ideas presented at the Crystal City Connection, then stick around for a self-publishing workshop and learn how to create a zine in an hour.

Materials will be provided then, head over to fight at the fountain, the popular outdoor beer and wine garden, which gets going at 5:00 p.m. you can also check out the stunning photos taken in Death Valley National Park and meet the artist at the opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. in the gallery underground over in Rosslyn, relax in gateway Park for an asura movie, food and drinks. Tonight's movie is Goldeneye is begins at dusk, but you can arrive early for the mobile bar area, restaurants and food trucks.

If you'd rather hear music head to love urban amphitheater for Mexican traditional music beginning at 8:00 p.m. all of these outdoor events are weather permitting. Looking ahead, we've got two big farmers markets with fresh local produce for sale in the morning. That's all! For now.
