The
equipment
comes
from
all
the
arlington
county,
public
safety
agencies,
so
you've
got
the
fire
department,
sheriff's
office
police
department,
as
well
as
the
office
of
emergency
management,
and
this
is
surplus
equipment.
So
this
is
stuff
that
is
still
good
to
use,
but
it's
not
currently
being
utilized
by
our
operations,
and
so
we
seemed
that
it
would
be
the
best
fit
to
serve
the
ukrainian
first
responders
united
help.

My
world
has
flipped.
My
grandfather
is
on
his
way
to
warsaw
right
now
on
the
bus,
as
we
speak
on
the
grounds,
their
friends
that
I
keep
in
touch
with,
I
call
daily
and
I've
worried
about
them.
I
really
worry
about
them.
I
have
a
seven-year-old
child
here.
I
have
explained
to
him
that
there's
a
war
happening
and
that
ukraine
has
to
defend
themselves
their
homes,
their
children,
their
families,
and
he
seems
to
understand
it,
and
it
makes
him
sad.
It
made
him
cry.
He
knows
he
was
very
worried
for
his
grandfather.
