The
second
dose
is
given
three
weeks
after
the
first
dose,
and
then
the
third
dose
is
given
at
least
eight
weeks
after
dose
two.
Now
these
vaccines
are
the
same
ones
that
the
older,
kids
and
adults
get
just
in
smaller
doses,
and
at
this
time
a
booster
dose
is
not
currently
recommended
for
kids
as
young
as
6
months.

What
side
effects
might
my
child
experience?
After
getting
a
shot
vaccine
side
effects
are
reported
to
be
mild
and
very
similar
to
those
seen
with
other
children's
vaccines?
The
most
common
side
effect
is
a
sore
arm.
Remember
the
side
effects
are
a
sign
that
your
child's
immune
response
is
working
talk
with
your
medical
provider.
If
you
have
any
concerns
or
further
questions.
