And speaking of forward thinking, The County Board recently approved a plan to replace the Blue Goose, a 1960s style building that has graced the corner of Glebe Road and Fairfax Drive for over 50 years, with two, more energy efficient buildings. Several elements of the Blue Goose will be incorporated into the new buildings, including a blue panel design at its base, and a horizontal blue glass band, To learn more about the project and it's design, visit the county webpage and search, blue goose.
