Take
part
in
our
virtual
meetings,
members,
staff
and
guests:
please
remember
to
keep
your
microphones
muted
at
all
guests.
Please
remember
to
keep
your
microphones
muted
at
all
times
speaking,
so
we
can
minimize
feedback
and
all
around
back
other
I'd
like
to
now
welcome
our
commission
members
back
other
I'd
like
to
now
welcome
our
commission
members
members
going
to
introduce
you
yourself
and
let
us
know
what.

I
I
I
I
I
I
Cross
rail
crossing,
we
call
it
that,
but
it's
a
pedestrian
crossing
at
that
crossing
at
that
at
the
basically
at
the
limit
of
that.
So
it
will
be
within
the
25
miles
per
hour
miles
per
hour,
that
crosswalk
will
and
then
the
last
one
there.
I
did
not
mention
that
crosswalk
will
and
then
the
last
one
there
I
did
not
mention
earlier,
but
it's
just
to
document
something
that's
already
in
the
field
are
already
in
the
field.
I
I
I
I
That
really
is
not
an
that
really
is
not
an
option.
So
our
first
step
is
to
tell
people
what
speed
they
should
be.
Going
should
be
going
to.
15
is
reasonable
for
this.
Basically,
it
splits
parking
to
15
is
reasonable
for
this.
Basically,
it
splits
parking
areas
with
a
lot
of
activity.
Buses
go
through
there,
but
there
was
just
their
school
was
just
their
school
children,
there's
church
activity
and.
I
B
B
I
I
I
Think
are
just
going
to
be
near
the
crossing
that
harnett.
I
don't
know
how
many
hundred
feet
don't
know
how
many
hundred
feet
hundreds
of
feet.
That
is,
but
that
it's
not
going
to
be
something.
That's
like
a
half
mile
long.
Are
you
think
it's
something?
That's
like
a
half
mile
long.
Are
you
think
it's
usually
a
combined
distance
of
to
get
people
focused
on
the
usually
a
combined
distance
of
to
get
people
focused
on
the
the
crossing
ii
can
find,
can
get
information.
I
And
get
it
back
to
you,
but
I
really
do
did
not
delve
into
what
their
details
where
I,
what
their
details,
where
I
did
see
it
as
a
positive
step
toward
30
miles
per
hour
on
the
on
the
state
road
on
the
state
road
road,
especially
one
of
this
length
road,
especially
one
of
this
length
length.
I
there
any.
B
B
B
I
Authority
when
it
comes
to
this,
but
I
can
answer
your
questions
and
suggestions,
the
the
center
line
and
suggestions
the
the
center
line.
I
don't
know
off
the
top
of
my
head
what
the
traffic
volumes
are,
but
once
you
get
above
are,
but
once
you
get
above
6,000
vehicles
per
day,
it's
actually
required
so
and
I
think.
I
I
I
Signs
throughout
the
entire
city,
so
we
can.
We
only
do
like
two
weeks
at
a
time,
but
we
can
definitely
weeks
at
a
time,
but
we
can
definitely
schedule
a
rotation
of
where
it
tells
you.
Your
speed
is,
is
type
sign
on
sign
on
sand
hill
so,
but
for
traffic
calming
itself
that
would
not
sand
hill
so,
but
for
traffic
calming
itself.
That
would
not
be
something
and
that's
something.
I
I've
talked
about
at
length
with
the
division
traffic
engineer
length
with
the
division
traffic
engineer
and
that's
she
shared
with
me,
their
guidance
and
their
requirements
and
the
statute
or
requirements
and
the
statute
or
reasons
behind
some
of
that.
So
so
hope
that
answers
question.
Yeah
does
I'll
yield
the
floor
to
looks
like
leather.
G
I
don't
have
much
to
add
because
I
don't
know
all
the
streets,
but
for
some
reason
three
of
these
five
that
have
lived
on
three
of
these
five
that
have
lived
on
or
around
the
corner
from
and
I've
used
to
live
down
the
or
around
the
corner
from
and
I've
used
to
live
down
the
street
from
jack's.
So
the
one
thing
I
was
going
to
say
about
the
sandhill
one
is
that
crosswalk
below
the
hill,
the
sandhill
one
is
that
crosswalk
below
the
hill
on
harnett,
from
lucy
hearing
at
the
very
least
having
something.
G
Like
you
know
the
that
that
shows
your
speed
limit
there,
if
we're
limited,
we're
limited
state
road
with
the
geo
team,
will
do.
Having
had
kids
that
went,
went
there
and
knew
the
people
that
used
to
help
the
kids
across
the
street,
who
have
who
are
no
longer
with
us
street
who
have
who
are
no
longer
with
us,
and
I
don't
really
know
that.
There's
a
lot
of
slow
down
on,
and
I
don't
really
know
that.
There's
a
lot
of
slow
down
on
that
road
at
that
intersection,
because
it's
just
so
hidden.
G
G
More
popular
and
so
much
more
use,
but
they're
still
not
very
large
parking
lots
and
around
those
two
areas
on
either
either
large
parking
lots
and
around
those
two
areas
on
either
either
well,
the
one
end
not
off
she'll
burn,
but
the
on
the
far
end.
I
wonder
if
there's
something
wonder
if
there's
something
there,
you
know
people
stopping
pulling
out
trying
to
pull
in
a
there.
You
know
people
stopping
pulling
out
trying
to
pull
in
a
parking
lot.
People
biking
around
they're
getting
on
the
greenway.
I
G
G
G
Hilly
road,
I
was
actually
surprised
to
see
25
I
thought
that
would
be
it'd,
be
that
would
be
it'd
be
lowered
to
20,
because
I
can't
imagine
someone
driving
down
that
going
25
that
going
25
safely,
just
because
there
are
some
that
are
really
curvy
and
safely
just
because
there
are
some
that
are
really
curvy
and
beverly
hills
in
some
that
are
not
so
curvy,
but
this
one
in
particular,
is
narrow.
Curvy,
hilly
particular
is
narrow,
curvy
hilly.
I
We
we
use
other
things
that
we
use
a
thing
called
u.s.
limits
that
tries
to
weigh
in
the
context
and
the
tries
to
weigh
in
the
context
and
the
nature
of
things,
how
many
driveways.
What's
the
crash
history
things
like
that,
and
we
compare
history
things
like
that,
and
we
compare
our
own
take
on
the
context
and
the
speeds
and
this
u.s.
limits
our
own
take
on
the
context
and
the
speeds,
and
this
u.s.
limits
and
come
up
with
a
recommendation
in
25
was
what.
I
F
F
F
F
Basically,
what
jack
and
elizabeth
have
said?
That's
a
that's,
a
pretty
curvy
road
and
I
feel
like
it's.
That's
a
pretty
curvy
road
and
I
feel
like
it's.
The
nature
of
it
context
has
changed.
There's
a
lot
of
driveways
off
of
it.
Now
that
driveways
off
of
it
now
that
that
ten
years
ago,
we're
not
there.
So
it
seems
like
it
this
that
ten
years
ago,
we're
not
there.
So
it
seems
like
it.
This
is
direction,
but
probably
needs
even
more
jack.
Thank
you,
joe
and.
I
I
will
I
will
talk,
I
will
I
will
talk
with
you
today
about
the
design
of
there.
I
know
they
have
a
standard
design
of
school
standard
design
of
school
school
reduce
speed,
school
zones,
but
I
also
know
that
field
adjustments
can
be
made
for
things
like
fours,
our
geometry
and
other
sight,
distance
constraints
and
other
sight,
distance
constraints.
B
B
I
B
Choir
response
times,
yeah
I'd
love
it
if
we
could
look
at
speed
tables
and
speed
tables
and
yeah
just
to
second
on
the.
How
many
creek
greenway
is
a
trustee
of
the
of
the
greenway
we're
doing
some,
so
we
will
be
doing
some
significant
greenway
we're
doing
some.
So
we
will
be
doing
some
significant
work
at
the
trailhead
at
sand
hill
and
expect.
B
A
A
L
L
Then
I
think,
if
I
remember
correctly,
there
was
another
question
I
think
in
general,
everyone
likes
the
idea
that
there
would
be
pedestrian
signals
added
to
this
intersection
as
well
as
a
crosswalk,
and
then
there
was
some
questions
about
how
far
to
the
sidewalk
go.
So
at
the
drawing
that
you're
looking
at
on
the
bottom.
You
know
it's
on
the
bottom
there
that
sidewalk
right
there
actually
goes
a
good
ways.
It
goes
all
the
way
to
lake
drive
in
the
inca
area
it
crossed
at
the
next
intersection.
L
The
next
intersection
of
the
next
signalized
intersection
up
as
you
go
towards
towards
towards
smokey
park
highway
crosses
the
road
there,
but
go
all
the
way.
So
there
is
a
good,
solid
connection
now
now
on
this
drawing
or
it
comes
across
and
ties
into
the
corner
there
you
know,
there's
some
commercial
establishment
establishments
there
and
the
sidewalk
only
goes
to
the
extent
of
where
those
businesses
end.
So
with
that
I'll
be
glad
to
answer
any
questions
that
are
still
out.
A
A
L
History,
that's
existing
out
there
that
deal
t
is
moving
forward
with
a
project
to
create
a
small
right
turn
lane
separate
from
the
through
lane.
That's
the
gist
of
it
and
then
add
the
pedestrian
thing.
So
as
far
as
adding
or
pedestrian
thing.
So
as
far
as
adding
or
bicycles,
it's
not
included
in
this
project.
A
F
F
L
L
It
but
right
to
the
right
of
that,
the
actual
lane-
and
you
can
we
zoomed
in
on
a
picture.
You
can
see
the
payback
for
the
lane
width
of
it
right
there
there
it
shows
out
there.
So
I
think
it's
an
11
foot
length
length
but
that
it
actually
shows
there
but
the
pavement
length,
but
that
it
actually
shows
there.
But
the
pavement.
F
B
B
A
Yeah
jacket,
I
take
your
point,
but
I
feel
like
what
I'm
seeing
is
it's
a
you
know.
It's
not
a
great
place
right
now
and
I
feel
like
this
is
a
vast
improvement
because
at
least
pedestrians
know
where
they're
supposed
to
go
where
the
best
possible
sight
lines
are
and
the
you
know
the
protected
crossings.
Are
you
know?
I
agree
with
you.
There's
it's
a
very
dangerous
situation.
A
J
M
M
M
M
For
confirming
that
you've
seen
the
slide
deck
I'll
have
dave,
crabtree,
crabtree
start
sharing,
crabtree
crabtree
start
sharing
his
screen
dave.
If
you
want
to
walk
us
through
some
of
the
model
and
while
you're
doing
that,
I
will
model
and
while
you're
doing
that,
I
will
provide
a
very
brief
commentary
on
provide
a
very
brief
commentary
on.
You
know
what
we're
what
we've
been
doing
in
the
last
almost.
M
N
O
O
O
What
you
are
seeing
is
what's
going
to
be
resubmitted
here,
to
the
drc,
the
drc
and
well
on
the
28th
and
next
couple
of
days
there
it
is
a
working
draft
working
draft,
so
you
might
find
some
missions
and
things
that
are
still
in
progress,
progress
and
is
robert
noted.
This
has
been
a
very
participatory
and
is
robert
noted.
This
has
been
a
very
participatory
participatory,
in-depth
process
or
a
couple
of
years
or
more
really
high
in
the
church,
they've
been
looking
really
high
in
the
church.
O
M
The
things
that
people
were
building
the
things
that
people
were
building
we
did
have
they've.
Can
I
interrupt
just
for
saying
is
we
did
have
they've?
Can
I
interrupt
just
for
saying?
Is
everybody
else
seeing
his
shared
screen?
Okay,
I
don't
see
anything
if
you're
sharing
an
are
you
sharing
anything
dave,
I'm
sure.
O
Process
and
what
that
might
look
like
through
I'm
sure
you
all
have
been
involved
in
workshop
style,
charettes,
multi
days
and
many
periods
of
time
over
the
last
several
years,
including
model
building
years,
including
model
building
hands-on
workshop.
These
aren't
from
the
architects,
then
our
team-
this
is
actually
from
folks.
In
you
know,
team.
This
is
actually
from
folks
in
you
know,
in
the
workshop
from
both
the
church
and
the.
Why,
and
some
of
the
things
I
always
think
is
important-
is
the
vision
and
values
that
we
try
to
draw
out.
O
Living
stoning
serving
the
next
generation
healing
ecumenical
benefit.
That
idea
of
the
blended
benefit
of
both
private
and
public
and
spiritual
uses.
We
turned
and
then
did
sort
of
visual
listening
and
walking
of
the
city.
You
know
what
makes
it
special
and
everybody
is
aware
of
this
right,
the
alleys
and
the
vistas,
the
corners.
You
know
the
little
moments
that
that
happen
throughout
asheville
whoa,
the
granular.
O
O
O
Do
we
take
those
things
into
consideration
along
with
you
know,
zoning
know
zoning
requirements
and
all
this
and
I'm
trying
to
flip
through
this
quickly.
Just
so,
you
get
a
sense
and
not
going
great
depth
quickly.
Just
so
you
get
a
sense
and
not
going
great
depth,
but
what
that
started
started
us
is
creating
the
sides.
Have
a
city
in
nature
and
sort
of
celebrating
we've
got.
You
know,
40
to
50
feet
of
elevation
between
the
this.
Can
you
see
my
cursor
he's
my
little
hand.
O
O
O
O
O
O
O
O
We've
maintained
the
distances
from
the
drive
here
and
then
also
bouncing
the
distance
from
the
large
curved
here
at
college
in
charlotte
to
try
to
be
a
little
bit
bit
more
technical.
We
have
jane
buffers
along
the
perimeter
and
added
you
know:
sidewalks
all
around
the
perimeter,
these
guys
in
maintaining
existing
trees.
That'll
show
up
in
some
later
exhibits
we've.
O
We've
tried
to
to
do
because
this
is
master
planning
and
only
for
bulk
density,
we're
showing
kind
and
quality
of
buildings
to
press
it.
Imagery
that
you
know
all
of
these
buildings
would
take
on
much
more
character
than
the
colored
masses
that
they
are
both
at
the
street
level
as
well
as
they
touch
touch
the
sky
again
here
the
parking
deck
and
the
treatments
of
line
or
space
along
is
perimeter.
It
it
central
and
college.
O
O
This
would
be
an
all
of
the
landscape
has
been
purposely
left
out
of
these
models,
so
that
you're
seeing
massing
and
intent
versus
the
more
urban
design
quality
that
this
would
have
with
active
streets,
and
you
know
zero
curb.
The
idea
for
this
is
was
more
of
a
festival
street
style,
as
you
see
in
the
imagery
here
with
you,
know,
lighting
and
sort
of
pavers,
and
things
like
and
along
the
perimeter
edge.
So
so
again,
the
models
are
generic,
because
the
goal
here
is
massing
in
bulk
and
area
in
broader
intent
from
master
planning.
O
We
will
be
coming
back
by
phase
per
individual
design
that
ensures
like
the
ground
floors
and
all
of
that
are
meeting
transparency,
codes
and
retail
pedestrian
activation
guidelines,
so
on
and
so
forth
forth.
Little
things
like
that
pertain
to
this,
like
we
have
maintained
stepping
back
the
mass
in
here
to
maintain
view
triangles,
for
example,
so
where
some
of
the.
O
That
helps
both
design,
but
it's
also
getting
into
sort
of
you
triangles
at
the
major
corners
where
we've
had
the
taller
buildings.
We
have
also
tried
to
pull
those
back
and
create
more
of
a
pedestrian
sort
of
courtyard
corner
if
you
will
and
make
some
relief
since
the
buildings
are
a
bit
taller.
If
I'm
a
real
quick,
if.
M
M
M
M
So
we
are
holding
the
flexibility
within
our
application
for
conditional
zoning
to
support
both
or
to
support
office
or
residential
and
phase
one
or
both
some
mixture
there
of
so
just
wanted
to.
Let
you
know
that
we're
that
that's
what
we've
done
this
on
purpose
as
you're
tracking
some
of
these
images,
images,
yeah,
really
good.
O
Point
I
would
also
know
part
of
this
is
if
we
went
resi,
it
would
actually
have
a
more
limited
parking
need,
however,
we're
maintaining
the
same
parking
regardless.
We
are
utilizing
a
shared
parking
strategy
and
we're
identifying
the
only
building.
That's
requires
parking
to
be
calculated
as
the
hotel,
but
we
have
nearly
seventeen
to
eighteen
hundred
spaces
on
on-site
in
the
parking
decks.
We
are
making
an
effort
to
go
in
in
ground
again
in
the
future.
O
O
People
parking
here
enjoying
a
restaurant,
a
visit
to
a
friend,
a
visit
to
the
church,
into
the
y
and
during
throughout
their
day
to
the
city
and
finding
other
things
to
do,
because
it
does
have
access
there
too,
240
and
very
walkable
to
the
rest
of
the
city,
all
that
data
and
I'll
flip
back
here
and
how
we're
currently
parking
and
so
on
so
forth,
is
noted
by
phase
in
by
building
here.
So
it's.
O
O
O
O
Along
felling
just
off
of
240
and
into
the
city,
and
then
you
would
be
able
to
turn
in
here
if
you
were
visiting
the
site
further
down
the
way
is
the
large
sweeping
turn
at
charlotte
and
college
and
then
access
to
the
parking
garage
space
appropriately
from
the
previous
previous
previous
inlet
and
internal
street,
that
we
have
the
sort
of
interior
via.
Let
me
I'll
flip
back
really
quickly,
because
we
know
this
site
well
and
you
guys
are
being
familiar
with
it.
This
idea
it
could
be
pedestrian,
sometimes
vehicles
not
on
the
street.
Here
essentially.
O
O
In
this
area
here
this,
this
is
sitting
at
the
foot.
Steps
of
the
church,
kind,
dov
hovering
just
off
a
240
looking
down
into
what
would
be
green
space
and
public
park
area,
some
passive,
active
so
on
and
so
forth,
and
again
we're
utilizing
sample
imagery
to
suggest
what
these
would
come,
because
these
each
even
this
little
small
pocket
park
will
be
a
project
in
itself.
O
You
know
just
urban
design
illustrious,
that's
not
a
final
design.
This
gives
you
a
sense
of
what
happens
when
you
go
from.
You
know,
colored
mass
to
some
level
of
street
trees
and
dangly
lights
coming
across,
and
you
know
these
are
obviously
just
sketches,
but
giving
that
urban
character
of
walkability
and
so
on
and
so
forth,
is
what
we
would
anticipate.
H
Gotten
to
hear
about
your
project
a
couple
different
times
now
and
community
events,
and
and
actually
chat
with
zooming
in.
I
just
want
to
express
gratitude
that
yours
is
some
time
coming
to
this
multi-modal
commission.
I
know
that's
not
a
standard
practice
or
requirement
in
the
development
review
process,
but
it
shows
your
commitment
to
the
community
and
your
openness
to
learn
and
listen,
which
is
been
what
I've
experienced
every
intersection
point
with
y'all
this
project
is
is
massive
y'all.
H
Really
showing
up
with
your
mission
partners
in
good
good
faith
and
taking
it
slow
and
steady
million
details
to
figure
out
before
anyone
steps
foot
in
any
of
those
potential
sites.
But
I
just
am
really
grateful
of
the
leadership
of
saying
you
know
what
we
want
to
talk
to
the
multimodal
commission,
because
we
understand
that
how
people
get
to
in
from
where
they're
going
is
part
of
building
community
and.
B
B
Possibilities
of
really
connecting
all
the
way
through
downtown
with
thoughtful
pedestrian
stuff.
So
my
one
of
my
big
worries
are
the
edges
of
this
development,
whether
that
be
on
the
development
property
or
on
the
city,
property
and
I'd
love
for
us
to
really
have
an
opportunity
to
design
that
thoughtfully,
and
it
could
just
be
an
amazing.
O
Like
the
idea
that
central,
particularly
coming
under
I-240
and
connecting
into
the
neighborhood
there
as
a
sort
of
gateway-
and
that
could
be
an
interesting-
you
know-
bridge
bridge
beautification-
there
is
outside
of
the
art
of
buildings.
None
of
us
can
go
out
there
and
just
start
painting
the
bridge
without
getting
into
a
bunch
of
trouble,
but
little
find
lighter,
quicker,
cheaper
place,
making
things
that
could
happen
around
the
site
a
lot
of
times.
O
O
O
O
O
M
M
M
M
Also
contributing
to
the
small
business
community
and
to
people
who
wouldn't
otherwise
have
access
to
commercial
space
downtown
there,
maybe
there's
something
that
we
can
work
into
that
program,
and
this
is
more
thoughts
for
y'all.
If,
if
you're
connected
with
to
a
bike
hub-
or
you
know,
bike
shop
that
can
service
this
area
of
downtown,
you
know
so.
M
What
those
levels
of
affordability
are
yet
are
to
be
determined,
but
you
know
we've
done
a
lot
of
as
on
the
development
side
projects,
but
new
market
tax
credits
we've
done
projects
with
in
partnership
with
corporate
sponsors
to
make
things
affordable.
So
there
are
several
ways
to
achieve:
affordable
commercial
space.
Just
thought.
I'd
put
that
up
for
you
guys
to
chew
on
on,
for.
O
O
Public
traffic,
no,
but
no
gates
at
the
front-
and
this
is
you
know
this-
is
it
an
extension
of
the
urban
environment
and
I'll
use?
The
words
ecumenical
benefit
here
right
that
idea
of
blending
of
church
life
spiritual
life
in
every
everyday
life.
The
pup
pocket
parks
are
really
throughout
the
zone.
O
O
O
We
have
in
terms
of
public
transit,
we
are
assuming
it,
that's
it
the
perimeter,
it's
not
to
say
that
they
couldn't
make.
You
know
ingress
through
the
site
and
so
in
terms
of
public
stops
and
bus
stops
and
things
like
that.
Their
current
would
be
at
this
sort
of
perimeter
and
it
is
under
our
requirements
to
add
in
improve,
if
my
recollection.
O
O
M
C
This
might
be
a
question
that
relates
to
kind
of
your
zoning
permissions
and
kind
of
the
site
plans
is
designed.
I
mean
I
heard
you
mention
you
know
no,
some
landscape,
buffer
and
and
some
improved
sidewalk,
maybe
spacing
on
charlotte
street,
but
didn't
have
y'all,
given
any
consideration
at
all
to
concessions
on
kind
of
deeper
setbacks
that
might
ride
wide
and
roadways
generally,
to
make
the
roadways
leading
to
the
this
kind
of
sweet
spot
and
development,
even
more
inviting
in
terms
of
protected,
bikeways
and
and
sidewalks,
and
is
it
something
consider.
O
O
O
O
C
O
In
in
some
of
the
reasons
why
we
thought
that
you
know
again,
when
you
look
at
the
existing
right
away,
that
has
you
look
at
the
existing
right
away.
That
has
turned
turn
lanes.
Pretty
decent
sort
of
drive
lanes
on
both
turned
turn
lanes,
pretty
decent
sort
of
drive
lanes
on
both
sides,
integrated
sort
of
bike
lanes
noted
you
know
we're
maintaining
maintaining
you
know
this
buffer
zones
that
are.
O
Are
currently
along
the
street
and
handsome
those
sidewalks,
wherever
possible,
pretty
substantial
city
right
away
here,
wherever
possible,
pretty
substantial
city
right
away
here,
for
example,
and
believe
it
or
not,
where
our
site
does
start
to
get
get
tight
as
when
you
go
back
and
you
look
at
our
current
footprints.
These,
while
are
looking
at
approximately
footprints.
These,
while
are
looking
at
approximately
10,000
square
foot
footprint,
which
is
pretty
small.
These
are
10,000
square
foot
footprint,
which
is
pretty
small.
O
O
O
Charlotte,
you
have
y'all
had
any
conversations
or
thought
about
the
the
all
know.
If
there's
isolated
comment
that
came
up
in
some
of
our
past,
our
past
meetings
but
sort
of
really
transforming
charlotte
meetings
but
sort
of
really
transforming
charlotte
in
a
different
way
and
more
for
bikes
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
A
Away
away
yeah,
I
think
it's
you
know,
there's
certainly
that
commonly
happens.
I
think
one
of
the
issues
we
face.
There
is
240
traffic
coming
off
and
you're
adding
another
1500.
You
know
traffic
coming
off
and
you're
adding
another
1500.
You
know
vehicles
to
that
low.
That
might
be
a
challenging
area
to
be.
You
know
taking
some
lanes
away,
but
you
know
it's
certainly
know
taking
some
lanes
away,
but
you
know
it's
certainly
something
we
could
talk
about
the
future,
just
to
kind
of
keep
something.
A
F
Do
you
have
a
some
comments?
Yeah
thanks.
I
just
wanted
to
kind
of
do
you
have
a
some
comments.
Yeah
thanks.
I
just
wanted
to
kind
of
reiterate
what
maggie
started
off
with
first
and
just
a
real
quick.
I
kind
of
proposed
this
quick.
I
kind
of
proposed
this
to
to
robert
and
david
and
and
furman
in
the
development
team.
F
This
this
and
and
having
some
for
multimodal,
so
I
very
much
appreciate
rise,
taking
the
appreciate
rise,
taking
the
time
out
today,
and
also
I
know,
paul
vestas-
is
on
the
call
and
being
willing
to
being
willing
to
have
this
conversation.
I
think
it's
super
important
because
again
I
again,
I
love
the
fact.
You
know
that
that
the
pastor
matt
calls
this
kind
love
the
fact.
You
know
that
that
the
pastor
matt
calls
this
kind
of
a
an
audacious
project
and
I've
called
it
a
transformative
project.
I
mean,
I
really
do
think
it.
F
Good
good,
so
yeah
just
want
to
again
thank
the
development
team
for
this
and
certainly
also
offer
out
that
if
anybody
from
multimodal
multimodal
has
any
you,
no
further
comments
or
questions
certainly
can
reach
out
to
me
as
the
out
to
me
as
the
liaison,
the
planning
and
zoning,
you
know
with
any
thoughts
liaison
the
planning
and
zoning.
You
know
with
any
thoughts
you
may
have
on
this
from
that
multimodal
perspective.
So
thanks
again.
A
A
O
O
O
Deuce
have
that
sort
of
visual
of
the
public
that
sort
of
visual
of
the
public
park
area,
as
well
as
the
steeple
coming
through
park
area,
as
well
as
the
steeple
coming
through,
and
then
you
know
the
break
in
the
building
here,
which
more
pedestrian
versus
both
pedestrians
and
vehicles
here:
pedestrian
versus
both
pedestrians
and
vehicles
here
and,
of
course,
central
over
here.
Sorry,
for
you,
the.
A
You
know
taking
kind
of
college
street,
and
I
know
that
we're
it
gets
a
little
bit
tight
there
and
then
the
whole
that
whole
section
is
not
horrible,
but
it
gets
a
little
tight.
So
just
to
section
is
not
horrible,
but
it
gets
a
little
tight.
So
just
to
kind
of
be
mindful
of
the
fact
that
exactly
folks
have
you.
A
Know
there'll
be
a
lot
of
foot
traffic
coming
out
there.
So
I
really
like
that
idea.
I
love
the
idea
of
the
interior
spaces
really
like
that
idea.
I
love
the
idea
of
the
interior
spaces.
Other
passed
through,
I
think,
is
really
nice.
You
know
I
do
feel
like
one
of
the
concerns
will
be
vehicle.
Motions
we're
adding
you
like.
One
of
the
concerns
will
be
vehicle,
motions,
we're
adding
you
know
1,700
vehicle
trips
into
the
area.
Those
motions
know
1,700
vehicle
trips
into
the
area.
A
Those
motions
would
be
coming
probably
right
off
of
charlotte
when
they're
leaving
they're
not
going
to
be
likely
not
gonna,
be
able
to
make
leaving
they're
not
going
to
be
likely
not
gonna,
be
able
to
make
a
left
out
of
there.
So
you
know
figure
out
how
we're
going
to
move
those
folks
coming
out
and
then
the
opposite
side
move
those
folks
coming
out
and
then
the
opposite
side
side
they'll
be
coming
out,
probably
laughs
to
them
left
onto
wood
fence.
A
E
E
E
M
Chargers
we
haven't
designed
that
I
assume
fully.
We
will
have
ev
infrastructure
here,
ev
infrastructure
here,
so
I
think
that
can
be
anticipated.
At
least
it's
consistent,
consistent
with
projects
were
developing
elsewhere.
It's
kind
of
standard
with
projects
were
developing
elsewhere.
It's
kind
of
standard
for
us
now
I
will
say
in
this
goes
quickly
to
a
comment
that
was
asked
earlier
was
asked
earlier.
Question
is
asked
earlier
about
public
versus
private.
M
O
Substantial
bike
parking
throughout,
we
just
was
describing
the
parking
load,
the
describing
the
parking
load,
the
1800
or
so
spaces
that
we
have
is
pretty
substantially
below
that.
I
that
I
think
22
to
23
hundred
that
you
might
have
in
a
development
of
this
scale,
and
so
we've
tried
to
balance
this
scale,
and
so
we've
tried
to
balance.
O
O
Downtown's
are
also
trying
to
not
over
build
their
parking.
We
would
be
below
those.
Those
standards
would
be
below
those
those
standards,
but
we
hear
you
loud
and
clear.
Bikes
are
welcome
in
another
great
great
way
to
help
sort
of
share
the
burden
and
there's
many
places
that
they
could
be
integrated,
that
they
could
be
integrated
throughout
the
site
for
parking
both
in
the
parking
decks
and
throughout
the
site
for
parking
both
in
the
parking
decks.
O
O
A
A
J
City-County
joint
transit
planning
project,
we
have
been
making
some
good
progress,
making
some
good
progress
in
getting
additional
public
feedback
or
feedback
from
different
different
organizations,
organizations
we
organizations
organizations.
We
met
with
you
guys
at
your
last
meeting
in
march,
where
we
give
a
presentation
about
presentation
about
the
kind
of
the
draft
scope
of
work
we
we
also
did
the
same.

we
have
good

There
was
a
lot
of
was
a
lot
of
city
staff,
they're
from
different
departments,
departments,
adding
fire
police
excetera
to
departments,
adding
fire
police

to
help
answer
questions
and,
of

transportation

of

urban

were
there

mtc,
I
did
not
see
this
item
listed
either
under
new
business
or
future
agenda
items
or
future
agenda
items.
A
I
understand
the
desire
to
preserve
the
availability
of
public
space
public
space,
including
bike
racks
for
the
use
of
residents
and
visitors
to
our
including
bike
racks
for
the
use
of
residents
and
visitors
to
our
city.
However,
I
am
concerned
that
the
the
proposed
ordinance
introduces
a
misdemeanor
level
offense
for
introduces
a
misdemeanor
level
offense
for
violations.
I
encourage
this
commission
to
consider
the.
A
Following
questions,
questions
1,
if
the
goal
of
the
ordinance
to
pursue
is
to
preserve
public
access
pursue,
is
to
preserve
public
access
to
public
amenities.
Why
not
implement
this
ordinance
with
a
civil,
infraction
civil,
infraction
fine
as
a
penalty
rather
than
a
criminal
misdemeanor
question
2.

Recommendations
relate
directly
to
the
item
under
consideration
by
the
mtc
as
city
staff,
as
city
staff
have
recommended
that
you
have
recommended
that
you
you
at
attached
a
criminal
misdemeanor
penalty
to
a
local
ordinance
that
directly
impact
public
ordinance
that
directly
impact
public
safety,
and
that
is
the
close
of
his
comments.
Patrick.
We
appreciate
your
comments
and
your
information
appreciate
your
comments
and
your
information,
and
we
will
certainly
consider
them
when
we
talk
about
this
item
next
month.
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
comment.
A
A
Quick
to
quick
updates
number
one
is
a
group
of
us
met
on
the
side
last
side.
Last
last,
over
the
last
couple
of
weeks
to
talk
talk
about
the
active
transportation
group,
we
met
that
meeting
active
transportation
group.
We
met
that
meeting
included
claudia.
We
had
some
very
good
included
claudia.
We
had
some
very
good
conversation,
there's
a
document,
that's
kind
of
coming
together.
A
Now
I
hope
to
have
something
for
you
to
look
for
a
group
to
look
now.
I
hope
to
have
something
for
you
to
look
for
a
group
to
look
at
by
next
month
and
then
I'll
kind
of
move
that
process
along
and
hopefully
we
can
have
some,
and
hopefully
we
can
have
some
some
more
clarity
on
what
that's
going
to
look
like
and
how
it's
going
to
operate
going
forward.
The
second
item
is
pat
cats.
