B
I
want
to
welcome
everybody
to
the
ashfield
transit
meeting
committee
meeting
december
15th
2021
from
3
30
to
5
30..
This
is
a
virtual
meeting
and
I
was
going
to
go
ahead
and
read
the
welcome
announcement
for
right
now
and
then
we'll
go
through
who's
here
for
the
day
because
welcome
to
the
asheville
transit
committee,
the
transit
committee
is
a
volunteer
citizen
board
designed
to
offer
input.
C
Yeah
amy,
I
think,
you're
picking
up
something
all
right:
she's,
muted.
Now
you
can
go
ahead.
Harvey.
B
The
citizen
board
designed
to
offer
input
and
guidance
to
ashfield
transit
system
and
city
council.
We
do
not
set
or
change
routes,
control,
asheville
transit
budget
or
have
authority
overstaff
drivers
or
management
company.
We
are
a
group
of
citizens
like
you
who
are
here
to
ensure
community
concerns
are
taken
into
consideration
when
setting
public
transit
policy.
B
We
welcome
public
input
in
our
meetings
we
are
allowed.
You
are
allowed
to
comment
on
any
matter
under
consideration
prior
to
final
vote.
If
you
have
something
to
say,
raise
your
hand
and
share
will
recognize
you.
There
are
also
two
public
comment
periods,
one
at
the
start
and
one
at
the
end,
and
anyone
addressed
in
the
community
is
limited
to
three
minutes.
However,
a
group
may
have
a
single
spokesperson
who
will
be
allowed
10
minutes,
the
community
will
see
written
information
from
any
individuals
or
groups
that
cannot
conclude
their
presentations
within
these
limitation
time
limitations.
B
If
you
would
like
to
have
any
items
discussed
in
more
detail
as
part
of
our
generally
acts
that
you
speak
with
the
member
of
the
trans
committee
in
order
to
have
that
item
addressed
during
our
next
meeting.
Thank
you
for
your
attendance.
Your
input
is
valued
as
of
today.
We
don't
have
any
public
comment
that
we
know
of.
I
read
that
part,
so
you
would
know
if
someone
asked
you
about.
B
D
B
B
Thank
you,
john
sandy
aldrich
aldridge.
I'm.
B
Okay,
then
we
have
our
staff
staff.
I
would
love
for
you
to
introduce
yourself
start
with
who's
here.
C
B
E
B
We're
we're
into
going
through
our
agenda
for
today
and
we
would
have
we
don't
want
to
have,
but
three
members
here
from
the
transit
community
today.
That's
me
sandy
and
john
bason.
I
thought
we
would
have
more,
but
we
don't
okay,
even
though
we
don't
have
a
quorum.
We
are
still
going
through
the
agenda
today.
B
B
Okay,
well,
I
guess
we'll
go
ahead
and
go
through.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
amend
the
minutes
to
accept
the
minutes
for
today.
E
B
We're
going
ahead
with
the
meeting
today,
okay,
there
may
be
some
things
that
staff
might
want
to
say
because
we
don't,
we
haven't,
had
a
meeting
and
we
had
so
many
interruptions
and
we're
going
to
give
those
who
want
to
say
something
and
review
the
minutes
and
maybe
comment
on
those
give
them
a
chance
to
say
something.
B
F
A
B
Okay,
well,
that
would
negate
the
august
17th
minute.
So
as
far
as
review
and
approval
explanation
of
public
comments,
we
don't
have
any
public
comment
for
today.
B
As
far
as
old
business,
I
don't
have
anything
new
business.
B
We
have
a
new
transit
committee
member
and
his
name
is
bill.
Danilock
and
I
ran
over
his
application
and
then
I
got
all
of
his
meritorious
service
things
that
he's
went
he's
been
awarded.
I
thanked
him
for
his
service.
I
am
a
air
force,
veteran
myself
and
bill.
It's
it's
really.
I'm
really
amazed
with
the
things
that
you've
done
and
your
accomplishments
and
I
think
you'll
be
a
welcome
member
to
the
transit
committee,
and
I
welcome
you
aboard
and
we'll
send.
B
I
have
talked
to
unicem
they'll,
send
your
application
to
multimodal
for
approval.
If
anyone
else
on
the
committee
has
anything
to
say
about
to
bill,
please
our
staff
has
anything
to
say
to
bill.
You
may
say
it
now.
B
G
Hey
everybody,
I
didn't
realize
it'd
be
that
easy
to
get
on
the
committee,
but
I
appreciate
that
I
didn't
realize
that
I
was
on
the
committee
exactly
yeah.
G
So
thanks
thanks
for
the
the
kind
words
harvey
see,
I'm
a
lieutenant
colonel
in
the
air
force,
I'm
active
duty,
a
lot
of
people,
don't
know
that
asheville
actually
has
an
active
duty
unit,
we're
in
the
federal
building
downtown
we're
about
60
people,
half
military
half
civilians,
and
we
provide
climatology
data
and
information
to
the
entire
dod
and
nato
and
we're
here
in
nashville,
because
the
national
weather
service
climate
center
is
also
here
in
the
same
building.
G
So
we
work
together
with
the
national
weather
service
and
noaa
and
north
carolina
state
as
well.
So
I'm
I
wanted
to
be
a
part
of
this
committee
as
both
in
my
official
duties
and
personal
life.
I
I'm
an
avid
cyclist.
I
commute
to
work
every
day.
G
G
It's
a
town
where
a
lot
of
people
want
to
be
mobile
and
moving
around
and
doing
stuff,
but
there's
probably
a
little
bit
of
work
that
can
be
done
so
hopefully,
hopefully
I
can
help
out
where
I
can
and
like
I
said,
I'm
partially
motivated
by
my
official
work.
I
I
we
have
a
lot
of
members
military
members
here
that
aren't
from
the
area
and
have
different
needs,
and
maybe
I
can
represent
their
interests
a
little
bit
as
well.
G
That's
all!
I
have
open
any
questions
or
thoughts
from
anybody.
Thank
you
again
for
letting
me
join
nice
to
meet
everybody.
B
Yeah,
we
didn't
want
to
make
it
that
easy
for
you
bill,
but
you
still
have
to
be
approved
by
the
multimodal
committee.
B
B
That's
right,
we're
glad
you're
here
bill.
Glad
you're
here
is
there
anything
from
staff.
F
C
B
B
F
Definitely
do
you
want
us
to
basically
go
over.
We
have
a
presentation
for
the
october
31st
service
improvements.
You
want
us
to
provide
an
update
to
the
group.
F
C
C
All
right,
so
some
of
this
might
sound
like
old
news
to
some
of
you
who
are
riding
the
bus
frequently
because
we
haven't
met
since
october,
but
just
wanted
to
make
sure
that
we're
all
on
the
same
page
and
up
to
date
on
any
of
the
service
improvements
that
we
have
done
recently.
C
C
Already,
we've
seen
the
on-time
performance
from
october
to
november,
improve
by
about
three
percent
a
little
more
so
hopefully
continue
to
make
those
improvements,
and
then
the
other
change
happened
mid-september,
but
again
just
wanted
to
make
sure.
Everyone
was
aware
that
involved
changes
to
the
social
security
administration
stops
and
the
truns
cove
road
stops
on
the
we
too,
and
I
will
go
over
that
in
further
detail
as
well,
so
just
for
a
quick
example
for
the
on-time
performance
improvements.
C
So
this
on
the
left,
it
showed
the
schedule
as
it
was
and
then,
if
you
look
on
the
schedule
on
the
right,
that
was
the
change
that
went
to
effect
for
october
31st,
so
you'll
see
like
at
lodge
in
biltmore
ave.
It
was
originally
getting
there
at
13
minutes
after
the
hour,
but
we
were
seeing
that
we
were
getting
there
early,
so
we
changed
it
to
307
after
the
hour.
Similar
examples
for
the
proceeding
two
stops.
C
So
most
any
of
our
writers
didn't
even
know
like
if
they
weren't
aware,
like
we
sent
out
messaging
through
writer
alerts
and
through
press
release
and
different
messaging.
But
the
changes
were
so
minor
that
I
think,
if
you
weren't
paying
attention,
then
you
still
wouldn't
have
been
affected
too
much
and
stuff
at
the
transit
station
hasn't
seen
any
or
heard
of
any
issues,
and
we
went
down
there
the
day
that
the
changes
were
being
implemented
and
everyone
seemed
to
have
a
good
handle
of
what
was
happening
so.
C
E
C
E
I've
just
talked
with
a
lot
of
other
riders,
and
I
do
ride
the
bus.
Very
often,
a
lot
of
writers
are
wondering
why
the
stop
at
walmart
first
isn't
the
same
as
it
used
to
be,
and.
E
E
There
are
people
who
are
disabled
temporarily
disabled
injured,
that
don't
want
to
make
that
hike
up
to
walmart
on
foot
they
they
have
to
use
the
bus.
Stop
that's
within
the
route
near
walmart
that
bus
stop
not
trying
to
take
anything
from
the
veterans.
My
goodness!
No,
I
appreciate
all
their
servers,
but
I'm
just
you
know
giving
you
feedback
from
multiple
riders
on
that
route.
C
With
sean
I
don't
know
if
you
have
any
thing
to
say
on
that,
if
not
we
can
talk
and
then
maybe
we
can
get
back
to
you
about
that
lashon
or
sorry
sandy,
but
there
was
no
like
we
didn't
make
any
change
to
that.
Stop
specific
to
these
service
changes.
F
Haley
indicated
we
will
talk
to
lashon
and
follow
up
with
you
in
terms
of
the
comment
you
made
and
make
sure
that
you
are
provided
ample
information
based
on
the
feedback
you
receive
from
other
writers.
C
That
already
happened
and
we're
going
to
continue
monitoring
our
on-time
performance.
It's
kind
of
a
tricky
puzzle
of
you
know
trying
to
get
not
be
late,
but
also
not
be
early
to
stop
so,
but
we'll
we'll
keep
you
updated
on
any
additional
changes.
So
then.
The
other
thing
I
wanted
to
quickly
review
was
the
weed
two
changes
that
went
into
effect
on
september
17th,
and
we
had
done.
We
had
given
a
presentation
about
potential
changes
to
the
transit
committee
months.
Prior
to
this,
we
also
again
did
a
press
release
we
put
out.
C
We
had
a
public
comment
period
and
did
different
writer
alerts
to
allow
public
to
make
any
comment
on
any
issues
or
concerns,
and
we
also
spoke
with
businesses
in
the
area
that
were
around
the
social
security
administration
before
implementing
these
changes
to
make
sure
it
wouldn't
negative
effect
negatively
affect
them.
So,
basically
the
root
of
this
change.
There
was
an
issue
with
the
we
two
route
running
continually
late
up
to
15
minutes
some
days,
usually
during
just
during
the
evening
hours.
C
C
We
decided
to
not
serve
this
area
after
4
30
p.m,
on
weekdays
and
we
no
longer
serve
it
on
weekends.
So,
when
you're
looking
at
the
time
point
or
the
schedule,
this
is
what
this
looks
like.
So
we
still
run
the
route,
but
after
4
30
we're
just
not
going
up
the
hill
to
that
to
that
turn
at
the
social
security
administration,
and
then
this
is
the
weekend
schedule.
So
it's
no
longer
served
at
all
on
the
weekends
and
we
haven't
heard
any
negative
feedback
about
that.
Everyone
seems
on
board
with
that.
C
Of
course,
you
all
hear.
Otherwise
let
us
know,
but
that
is
the
change
that
happened
with
me
too.
B
C
The
reason
we
needed
to
postpone
those
changes
was
due
to
the
lack
of
drivers.
We
don't
have
there's
a
driver
shortage,
obviously
across
the
whole
nation
right
now,
and
that's
definitely
affecting
us
here
in
asheville.
So
we
were
not
able
to
get
enough
drivers
that
we
needed
to
be
able
to
make
these
improvements.
C
But
we
were
unable
to
do
that
at
this
time
and
then
the
other
change
is
was
going
to
be
the
s3
and
the
s6
we're
going
to
have
an
updated
frequency,
but
that
was
not
from
90
minutes
every
90
minutes
to
every
45
minutes,
but
again
the
number
of
drivers
to
be
able
to
do
that.
Just
wasn't
there
and
then
we
also
postponed
temporarily
the
bus
stop
consolidations,
we're
going
to
continue
looking
at
that
for
the
future.
C
But
moving
forward,
we
still
want
to
make
these
improvements
still
very
much
on
our
radar
and
in
our
weekly
conversations,
but
we're
monitoring
the
driver
situation
and
retp
dev.
Our
contractor
is
still
continuing
to
recruit
new
drivers
as
part
of
that
we're
looking
at
a
wage
analysis
to
see
if
we
need
to
increase
the
wage
on
the
hourly
rate
and
hopefully
continue
to
attract
new
people,
but
yeah.
We
are
hoping
to
implement
this
sometime.
We
don't
really
have
a
timeline,
because
it's
there's
so
many
unknowns.
C
We're
dealing
with
in
terms
of
staffing,
but
that's
where
we're
at
do
you
all
have
any
questions.
B
Oh
okay,
I
noticed
that
well
that
take
us
take
us
on
down
to
general
update.
I
I
don't
see
anything
in
the
minutes.
As
far
as
what
we
had
talked
about
last
time,
we
did
collaborate
a
little
bit
on
the
collecting.
C
B
C
Okay,
let's
see
all
right,
so
this
is
related
to
the
bus,
stop
improvement
project.
We
have
received
a
grant
for
a
million
dollars
to
make
different
bus,
stop
improvements
around
the
city,
and
that
includes
things
like
shelters,
increased
lighting,
seating,
ada,
accessibility
and
we're
doing
this
in
different
phases.
So
if
this
portion
of
the
presentation
seems
like
short-sighted
it's,
because
this
we're
just
dealing
with
this
presentation
is
just
going
over
what
we're
doing
right
now.
C
So
as
far
as
recent
progress,
we
received
four
different
bus,
shelter
donations
recently
in
the
last
six
months
and
we've
completed
the
installation
of
all
those
shelters
and
we
have
one
more
shelter
that
we
are
in
the
process
of
getting
installation
quotes
for
that
we
hope
to
be
able
to
install
in
the
near
future.
C
We
also
have
been
working
on
replacing
the
plexiglas
on
some
of
the
shelters.
That
is
obviously
a
cheaper
fix
than
just
completely
replacing
the
shelter
completely.
We
have
three
of
those
replacements
completed
and
we
have
more
on
the
list
so
more
to
come
there
and
then
we're
working
right
now
on
removing.
F
C
Shelters
that
are
either
in
very
poor
condition
or
they're
no
longer
even
served
on
any
bus
route,
and
so
we
are
still
working
with
just
on
putting
out
that
bid
to
be
able
to
to
do
that.
C
So
as
far
as
the
bus,
shelter
donations,
the
locations
were
montford
and
bulldog
and
the
donation
was
from
the
montford
neighborhood
association,
then
on
hendersonville
road
in
gerber
and
hendersonville
road
and
turtle
creek
road,
the
rotary
club
of
asheville,
biltmore
and
rotary
club
of
arden
helped
us
put
in
two
shelters
there
and
they
also
paid
for
the
shelters
and
then
at
cvs
and
merriman
ave.
C
There
used
to
be
a
shelter
there
and
then
that
shelter
was
damaged
and
removed.
But
we
were
able
to
put
a
new
shelter
in
in
partnership
with
oasis
recovery
center
in
asheville
recovery
center,
and
here
are
pictures
on
the
left.
This
is
what
it
used
to
look
like
at
montford
and
bulldog
on.
The
right
is
our
shiny,
new
shelter.
C
This
is
the
new
one
on
gerber
turtle,
creek
road,
and
when
this,
when
I
first
put
this
presentation
together
in
november,
I
this
shelter
hadn't
gone
in
yet.
But
this
is
the
old
one.
So
don't
worry,
it
does
not
look
like
that
and
there's
now
a
new
pretty
shelter
at
the
cbs
on
merriman.
C
And
then
that
one
that
I
mentioned
that
we're
working
on
getting
quotes
for
right
now
is
at
the
eddington
center
that
we
will
potentially
install
with
the
help
of
the
actual
housing
authority.
So
that
is
where
we're
at.
Did
anyone
have
any
questions
on
any
of
that.
C
C
B
I
saw
on
the
I
guess
it
well
on
the
council
meetings
last
night.
B
Yes,
I
saw
that
on
the
city
council
meeting
agenda
last
night.
F
So
the
next
phase
is
basically
meeting
with
the
company
or
purchasing
the
buses
from
take
a
look
at
all
the
different
accessories
that
were
going
to
buy,
for
instance,
bike
racks,
the
fair
boxes
and
also
security
cameras
and
then
get
a
schedule
from
the
company
as
to
when
the
buses
will
be
built
and
also
delivered
to
the
city.
So
just
a
quick
update
on
what
is
happening.
B
B
And
we've
already
introduced
sandy
to
the
the
transit
committee
in
the
multimodal
approver
installation.
F
H
A
F
We
have
a
program
in
place
that
the
city
works
with
interested
parties
that
want
to
advertise
information
about
their
businesses
or,
for
instance,
non-profit
organizations
in
the
city.
So
we
generate
some
revenue
that
is
put
back
into
a
transit
operation.
So
it's
a
quick
update.
We
do
get
a
lot
of
inquiry
inquiries
to
advertise
on
the
outside
of
the
buses,
but
right
now
we're
not
doing
so.
It
is
just
the
inside
of
the
buses.
B
Yeah,
that's
what
I
was
gonna
bring
up
today
as
far
as
the
buses,
the
epiphany
hit
me
when
I
was
watching
the
a
a
show
on
tv
this
past
week
to
advertise
on
the
outside
of
the
buses.
F
I
I
think,
that's
not
allowed
by
city
ordnance,
and
so
that's
why
we
don't
advertise
on
the
outside
as
well
as
on
shelters.
We
are
only
allowed
to
advertise
in
the
on
the
inside
of
the
buses.
B
Okay,
I
noticed
the
buses
the
advertisement
on
the
inside
of
the
buses.
They
were
looking.
They
were
looking
a
lot
better
last
week.
B
Okay
moving
forward,
have
you
heard
anything
eunice?
Let's
say
I've
get
this
one
request
for
the
committee
becoming
a
commission.
F
We
have
not
heard
anything
harvey,
I
I
I
think
it's
on
it's
on
hold
right
now
and
I
I
don't
believe
it
went
to
council.
F
I
believe
it
was
last
month
or
so,
and
so
it's
on
hold
right
now
and
we
will
come
back
with
additional
information
if
we
hear
anything
as
to
what's
going
on
with
that.
B
D
That
was
the
last
that
I
heard
not
that
there
isn't
support
for
us
becoming
a
commission
that
they
really
want
to
see
us
meeting
regularly
with
full
full.
A
B
B
H
D
B
B
D
B
F
Process
just
began-
and
I
think
all
I
want
to
say,
is
much
of
the
details
is
going
to
start
in
january.
Where
will
all
the
departments
will
be
working
with
the
finance
department?
So
more
information
will
be
provided
in
future.
F
Yeah
quick
update
harvey.
I
just
wanted.
H
F
Let
everybody
know
that
amy
tesna
has
been
promoted
to
the
transit
grants
of
transit
financial
grants
analyst.
So
we're.
F
Looking
for
a
replacement
for
her
so
come
january,
there
is
going
to
be
somebody
sitting
in
her
chair
and
amy
will
be
helping
the
division
department
with
grants,
all
the
transit
grants
that
we
get
to
implement
transit
service
and
all
capital
projects.
So
we
just
wanted
to
let
everybody
know
that
amy
is
moving
on
and
she
will.
She
is
the
transit
grants
person
in
the
department
you.
H
B
E
B
F
B
Okay,
departmental
updates
for
staff.
B
They're
attached,
we
can
see
them.
F
B
It
yeah
that's
why
I
said
it
looks
like
they
were
attached
if
they
didn't
have
it.
If
nobody
has
anything
to
say
it,
it's
self-explanatory.
If
you
read
it.
B
And
other
business.
F
B
I
tried
to
mention
it
earlier,
but
the
the
situation
with
the
what
you
call
it
just.
I
guess
somebody
else
looking
into
how
it's
easier
to
collect
the
money
at
the
bus
when
we
get
on
the
bus,
yeah.
F
F
Yeah
we
met
with
marcella
and
her
team
last
month
and
if
it
is
okay
with
you
harvey
one
of
the
things
we're
looking
at
is
putting
a
presentation
together
for
the
group
in
january,
and
the
goal
is
to
really
provide
information
as
to
what
we're
really
doing
the
next
steps
and
basically
provide
additional
information
that
you
talked
about
the
other
day
when
you
and
I
talked
in
terms
of
meeting
we
had
with
the
team
or
ncat
team.
So
I
just
wanted
to
say
it's
ongoing.
F
The
goal
is
to
provide
a
presentation
with
slides,
showing
all
the
things
they
are
doing,
and
it
is
not
a
done
deal
yet.
I
just
want
to
mention
that
this
is
just
trying
to
find
more
information
and
what
is
the
best
thing
to
do,
and
so
we
will
be
talking
to
a
lot
of
people,
including
conversations
we've
had
with
transit
committee,
as
well
as
more
conversations
in
terms
of
experiences
and
how
best
to
move
forward.
So
more
information
is
coming.
If
I
may
say
that.
B
We'll
go
ahead
and
hear
from
anybody
that
has
anything
to
say.
I
have
one
thing
to
say,
but
anybody
else
they
can
go
for
it
right
now.
E
You
know
some
are
almost
angelic.
Yes,
I
said
that
they
are
so
nice
to
everyone
and
certain
ones
never
get
rattled
or
anything,
and
it
just
makes
it
easier
on
the
riders,
because,
I'm
sure
you
know
nothing
personal
with
y'all
at
all,
but
it's
very
stressful
to
ride
the
bus.
E
You
know
it
just
takes
longer
to
get
places,
but
with
that
being
said,
I
have
to
give
out
a
shout
out
to
a
couple
of
drivers
and
I'm
gonna
name
them
by
name.
They
come
to.
Montina
is
a
driver
that
I'm
not
sure
how
long
she's
been
driving
the
buses.
She
is
amazing.
E
Amazing
al
is
another
driver.
He
is
also
amazing
and
holly
she's
a
driver.
You
know
that
I've
known
all
three
of
those
and
that's
just
for
starters-
they're
amazing
drivers-
and
I
know
a
lot
of
writers,
of
course,
including
myself,
appreciate
them.
So
much.
E
E
Okay,
well
just
some
experiences.
I've
had
lately
as
well
as
others,
and
I've
already
talked
to
lesean
about
a
couple
of
things,
but
in
general
there
there
seems
to
be
a
problem
with
some
drivers
feeding
too
much
and
because
I've
been
a
writer
for
kind
of
a
long
time.
Some
years,
I'm
well
aware
when
some
a
bus
driver
speeding-
okay,
especially
you
know,
always
sit
on
the
bottom
level
because
of
injuries
and
stuff
like
that.
E
So
and
there's
one
driver
in
particular.
I
think
his
name
is
jeff.
E
You
know
he
came
at
me
pretty
much,
and
I
did
not
appreciate
that
at
all
and
then
there's
a
couple
of
other
drivers
that
speed
and
everything-
and
you
know
the
jeff
driver
that
I'm
talking
about
you
know
people
have
labeled
him.
The
the
roller
coaster
driver
pretty
much
just
saying:
that's
the
people,
that's
the
people
talking
there,
so
I
just
wanted
to
put
that
out
there
for
the
safety,
I'm
a
safety
nut.
I
am
okay.
We'd
rather
arrive
alive.
Okay,.
B
Okay,
thank
you
sandy
for
your
observances.
These
will
be
taken
in
earnest
from
staff
and
they
will
we'll
get
back
with
you
quite
good
because
they
always
do.
H
I
had
one
noteworthy
experience
with
the
rival
all
first
time.
I've
met
him
he's
a
very
nice
man
he's.
B
They
just
do
a
fantastic
job
to
me,
like
they're,
putting
their
life
on
the
line
every
day.
You
know
with
all
the
things
that
we
got
covered
and
it's
offspring,
and
everything
like
that,
I'm
so
proud
that
transit
is
doing
such
a
good
job
and
we
are
moving
forward
at
times.
It
seems
as
though
we
are
at
a
standstill,
but
we
get
through
that
and
we
move
on.
We
persevere
and
thank
you
staff
for
everything
that
you
do.
E
E
You
two
strong
women.
It's
a
pleasure
to
be
working
with
you
guys.
E
B
You
I
appreciate
hosting
the
meeting
today
and
we'll
see
each
other
at
our
next
meeting.
If
staff
doesn't
have
anything
else
to
say,
adjourn
this
meeting.
F
Oh,
there
are
some
questions.
Sandy
and
bill
have
raised
their
hands.
E
G
H
G
Yeah,
I
guess
so
well
that's
the
thing
I
don't
even
know
the
difference
between
staff
and
transit
committee.
Like
I
don't
I
don't
know
anything
so,
just
like
the
words
we're
using
the
acronyms
and
whatnot
so
yeah.
I
guess
that's.
My
first
question
is:
who
is
whose
staff
I
mean
I
see
eunice
and
haley.
Are
you?
Are
you
paid
employees
of
the
city?
I
guess.
B
F
Yeah,
okay
and
there's
amy
as
well
she's.
Also
there
are
three
of
us
from
the
transportation
department,
haley
amy
and
myself.
H
C
And
then
so,
our
instead
of,
for
example,
like
instead
of
the
city
having
our
own
drivers
and
we're
managing
the
day-to-day
operations
we
contract
all
of
that
out,
and
so
our
contractors
for
for
asheville
right
now
happen
to
be
ritp
dev,
and
so
we
have
different
members
who
will
join
this
meeting,
who
are
working
from
ritp
dev
and
that's
who
lashon
is
she
does
she's
like
the
real
one?
We
need
to
all
be
saying.
Thank
you
to.
She
does
a
lot
of
the
day-to-day
operations.
So
that's.
H
C
G
Awesome
and
then
harvey
are
you.
Did
I
hear
you
you
volunteered
to
lead
this
to
the
other
meetings.
B
Yes,
the
chair,
she
has
circumstances
beyond
our
control
and
she
asked
me
to
sit
in
tonight.
G
Okay,
very
good,
and
then
I
guess
they're
looking
at
the
documents,
is
it
usually
monthly
that
we
try
to
do
these.
F
H
B
And
then
your
then
your
tenure
is
three
years.
G
Okay,
that
works,
let's
see
if
I
had
any
other
and
then
the
the
multimodal
committee.
What's
the
relationship
there.
C
F
D
Sure
so
the
multimodal
committee,
the
transit
committee,
is
a
subcommittee
or
the
multimodal
commission
is
like
the
umbrella
right
and
then
the
transit
committee
is
under
that.
So
there's
like
the
transit
committee,
the
greenway
committee
neighborhood
advisory
committee,
they're
all
committees
of
the
multimodal
so.
G
Yeah,
okay
and
then
multi,
you
said
multimodal
is
a
commission.
D
Right,
so
it's
a
commission,
so
we
we
actually
advise
council
gotcha.
G
Okay
and
so
so
then
harvey
you're,
saying
earlier
that
my
application
is
going
to
multimodal.
C
E
D
No,
I
mean
it's
a
pretty
easy
process.
They'll,
probably
ask
a
bunch
of
questions,
but
it
really
depends
on
the
day
and
how
busy
the
agenda
is.
Usually,
I
think
actually,
but
I
think
it
would
be
good
for
you
to
connect
with
people
like
I'd,
be
happy
to
meet
you
for
coffee
one
day
or
something.
D
You
know,
because
I
think
it's
good
just
to
to
get
to
know
other
people
in
the
community
that
you
know
on
the
commissions
and
the
boards
and
things
like
that,
because
you'll
learn,
because
I'm
relative
I've
been
doing
this
for
a
little
over
a
year
and
it
takes
a
little
bit
of
time
or
up
to
speed.
D
So
there's
definitely
a
learning
curve.
There
are
a
lot
of
acronyms
and
you
have
to
slow
down
sometimes-
and
you
know,
ask
questions
and
the
meetings
are
moving
pretty
quickly.
So
if
you
can
get
people
outside
of
you
know,
we
can
go
for
a
walk
in
the
greenway
or
get
some
coffee
or
something
like
that.
That's
usually
good,
a
good
thing
to
do
so.
Yeah
I'll
put
my
my
phone
number,
my
email
in
the
in
the
chat
for
you.
B
C
D
H
D
Yeah
we
have
a
meeting
tomorrow,
but
it's
a
joint
meeting
between
the
downtown
commission
and
the
transit
commission.
So
I
don't
know
the
transportation
commission,
so
I
don't
know
if
we're
going
to
be
voting
on
things
like
that
or
addressing
things
like
that,
because
the
the
agenda
was,
it
was
pretty
vague.
It
looks
like
it's
more
of
a
discussion
tomorrow,
so.
F
B
F
F
You
bill,
if
you
need
us
to
send
you
any
documents
on
transit,
any
information
at
all,
please
reach
out
to
amy
and
we
can
collect
those
information
and
send
it
to
you.
So
let
us
know
specific
documents
you
want
to
review
read
and
then
we
can
make
sure
that
you
get
those
documents.
G
C
G
Awesome
well
thanks.
Everybody
I'm
excited,
hopefully,
hopefully
it
goes
well
seems
like
a
good
one.
H
E
Yeah,
I
think
bill
you're
gonna
be
a
great
addition.
Yes,
I
thank
you
for
your
service.
I
am
pro-military,
you
know
I
fight
for
veterans
rights,
all
that
type
of
thing,
so
we're
getting
a
good
group
together.
I
feel
very
good
about
this.
B
Okay,
if
all
is
said
and
done,
I
hereby
declare
this
meeting
adjourned.
B
I
was
glad
to
do
it.
I
was
glad
to
do
it.
