If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
C
C
C
C
So,
first
I
will
go
over
and
introduce
each
one
of
the
members
of
the
committee
who
is
with
us
today
and
who
is
participating
virtually
please
make
sure
that
your
microphone
is
muted.
If
you
are
not
speaking
and
when
you
have
a
question
or
want
to
speak
unmute
your
microphone,
please
remember
to
re-mute
it
after
you
have
finished
speaking
to
the
community
committee
members.
I
will
call
your
name
and
ask
you
to
say
a
quick
hello
to
everyone
and
to
help
our
audience
follow
along.
E
C
E
E
C
Yeah,
the
additional
thing
I
wanted
to
ask
is
that
each
committee
member
raised
their
hand
if
they
want
to
speak
and
then
lucy
will
call
upon
you
or
I'll
call
upon
you
either.
One
of
us
so
that
you
can
speak
is
that
clear
with
everybody.
C
C
First
of
all,
we
have
I'm
going
to
introduce
everybody
and,
as
soon
as
I
get
my
notes,.
C
G
Hey
everybody
that
was
some
pretty
good
hip-hop
remix.
I
like
that
claudia
and
lucy
nice
of
y'all
to
figure
that
out.
I
just
wanted
to
say
hello
and
I
wanted
to
add
a
little
brief
note
or
editorialization
that
I've
been
using
the
greenway
along
the
french
broad
river,
nearly
every
day,
sometimes
multiple
times
a
day.
It's
wonderful!
It's
really
great,
and
I
really
appreciate
it
and
I
commend
the
city
for
engaging
in
some
feedback.
G
They
they
received
from
myself
and
from
others
to
address
some
drainage
issues
that
were
happening
along
both
the
cycle
track
and
the
greenway.
You
know
it
seems
like
a
small
thing
puddles,
but
it's
a
huge
safety
hazard
and
and
the
the
roadway
itself
didn't
have
any
drainage
issues,
and
it's
good
to
see
that
the
city
puts
the
same
level
of
priority
on
those
facilities
for
walkers
and
for
a
cyclist
as
they
do
for
motorists.
So,
thanks
for
addressing
those.
C
H
Hi
I'm
kristen
erhard.
I've
been
on
the
committee
since
february
and
I
think
I
only
had
one
committee
meeting
in
person,
I'm
an
educator
and
I
work.
I
teach
english
as
a
second
language,
to
adults
through
the
community
college
and
yeah.
I
echo
what
richie
was
saying:
I've
really
appreciated
the
greenway
development
in
the
last
few
months
in
particular,
and
I
live
near
the
french
broad
river
greenway
yeah
and
was
there
anything
else
to
include
in
the
introduction?
C
C
F
Cool,
I
can't
see
myself
for
some
reason
right
now,
but
I'm
mike
retired
civil
engineer
I've
been
on
the
greenway
committee
just
for
a
few
months
now,
so
I'm
kind
of
the
new
guy
I
too
have
been
using
the
new
greenway
on
river
every
day
been
walking
it
and
it
seems
like
it's
been
really
really
popular
and
it
has
come
out
really
beautiful.
I
think
it's
something
the
city
can
really
be
proud
of.
I
Yeah,
I'm
here
I'm
you.
Can
you
hear
me?
Yes,
oh
yeah,
I'm
paul
gisondo
and
it's
been
great
to
see
the
greenways
develop
without
us.
In
spite
of
us
in
spite
of
covid,
it's
been
wonderful
and
I
just
had
a
discussion
with
lucy
before
I
noticed
in
all
of
these
attachments
that
there
was
a
whole
thing
of
community
members
in
their
terms,
and
my
term
was
just
up
last
month
wow.
I
So
I
told
her
that
I'm
kind
of
reluctantly
at
the
end
of
the
end
of
the
road
here
for
myself.
I
However,
I
you
know
I'm
very
busy
with
some
other
pursuits
that
have
started
for
me,
including
this
project
on
jupiter
or
in
jupiter,
and
but
I
am
fully
committed
to
doing
what
I
started
doing
with
the
greenway,
and
that
is
finalize
the
map
when
it
is
when
it's
safe
to
go
back
into
city
hall
and
work
at
lucy's
desk.
I
I
would
love
to,
however
long
it
takes
to
finalize
the
gis
work
that
I
started
doing
on
that.
But
aside
from
that,
I
think
I'm
going
to
bow
out
of
the
committee,
at
least
as
a
committee
member,
but
I
will
be
an
ex-officio
gis.
K
C
Okay,
we're
glad
you
made
it.
Thank
you
and,
let's
see
dennis,
has
not
gotten
to
us,
yet
I
don't
believe
so.
I
will
introduce
myself,
I'm
claudia
nix,
I'm
the
chair
for
this
committee
just
a
couple
years
on
now,
and
I
am
a
co-owner
of
liberty,
bicycles,
a
long
time
advocate
for
bicycling
and
walking
member
of
the
bike,
pedestrian
task
force
as
well,
and
I'm
very
excited
to
see
things
that
I
have
been
pushing
for
for
many
years.
Finally
coming
to
fruition.
C
C
M
C
N
Yes,
I'm
here
and
just
want
to
echo
everyone's
excitement
about
new
multi-use
and
the
protected
bikeway
in
the
city
has
been
responsive
to
the
draining
issues
which
has
been
great,
and
I
put
in
the
chat,
a
link
to
a
video
that
we
just
put
out.
It
highlights
our
after
school
bicycle
club,
but
it
also
demonstrates
how,
when
we
change
the
infrastructure,
how
that
impacts
users.
N
C
C
F
J
F
C
Okay,
so
thank
you
meeting
minutes
from
february
2020.
Hopefully
all
of
you
reviewed
the
meetings
minutes
that
lucy
sent
out
and
richie
took
for
us.
Do
we
have
anyone
ready
to
approve
that
the
acceptance
of
those.
B
G
C
So
lucy
do
you
want
to
start
with
staff
updates,
dot
funding.
F
J
L
C
L
The
north
carolina
fun
dot
funding
update
is
that
we
have
received
confirmation
that
the
french
broad
river
west,
greenway
construction
funds
have
been
released
for
us
to
use
and
that
we
will
put
the
project
out
to
bid
this
winter,
actually
we'll
probably
be
putting
it
out
sooner
than
later,
probably
before
the
end
of
the
year
beginning
of
holidays
and
we'll
begin
construction
in,
if
it
is
springtime,
it
will
be
very
early
spring.
L
You
will
see
us
closing
the
property,
the
duke
property
down
to
public
access
cleaning
it
up
from
the
homeless
camps
that
are
there
and
starting
with
grading
and
such
before
the
asphalt
companies
reopened
in
the
springtime.
L
We
also
received
construction
funding,
approval
for
the
nasty
branch
greenway
and
will
begin
construction
in
the
spring
time
as
well.
The
first
step
that
we
would
like
to
do
before
we
start
the
construction
is
to
work
with
an
invasive
plant
manager
to
get
a
lot
of
the
invasive
plants
under
control.
This
will
be
a
multi-year
project,
probably
needing
to
work
with
all
of
the
different
types
of
invasive
plants
and
their
remediation
techniques
multiple
times
in
the
years.
L
Conversations
with
the
d.o.t
that
they
are
trying
to
get
the
funding
available
for
us
to
do
the
engineering
and
design
for
the
north
rad
tip
project.
So
that
is
the
one
mile
stretch
just
north
of
the
finished
greenway
down
by
the
smoky
park
supper
club,
so
that
will
close
a
gap
between
the
greenway
that
we
just
finished
to
the
city
boundary,
which
is
the
intersection
of
riverside
drive
and
broadway,
which
happens
to
be
the
area
that
the
woodfin
greenway
will
start
so
when
they
and
their
funding
is
approved
as
well.
F
Lucy,
I
know
that
the
the
I-26
is
doing
the
is
doing
riverside
drive
up
to
broadway,
along
with
with
street
lights
and
bikeway.
How
is
that
coordinated
with
the
greenway.
L
So
they're
considered
two
different
projects,
but
they
we
will
be
coordinate,
coordinating
heavily
with
the
dot.
There
could
be
sections
of
that.
One
mile
stretch
where
the
greenway
is
a
multi-use
path
along
the
side
of
the
road,
we're
looking
at
sections
that
can
be
off-road
along
the
river
and
other
alternatives
along
the
side
of
the
road.
L
So
those
are
our
dot
funding
updates
and
I
can
give
you
the
gap
plan
update
right
now.
We've
finished
a
lot
of
the
internal
work
that
most
plants
typically
see,
such
as
existing
plan
reviews
and
making
the
base
maps
in
gis
and
we've
conducted
a
greenway,
constructability
analysis
and
the
sidewalk
and
ada
analysis.
L
These
are
just
details
about
the
ada
week
and
the
stakeholder
meetings
currently
we're
doing
a
photo
and
video
campaign.
L
We
were
working
in
carrier
park
not
this
weekend
but
last
weekend,
and
some
of
you
came
down
for
interviews
and
photos,
mike
z
was
there
and
claudia
was
there
and
gwen
whistler
our
city
council
person
and
liaison
to
the
greenway
committee
came
down
for
an
interview
as
well
we'll
be
using
this
these
materials
on
all
of
our
promotional
information,
as
we
are
working
on
a
survey
right
now,
there's
a
link
in
the
agenda
by
the
way
for
you
to
please
take
and
to
send
out
to
all
of
your
friends,
and
hopefully
you'll,
be
seeing
these
really
beautiful
photographs
on
social
media
links
that
will
help
us
be
able
to
spread
the
survey
through
social
media
much
easier
too.
L
Specific
group
runners
groups,
mountain
true
connect,
bunkum,
etc,
etc.
And
when
this
plan
is
finished,
it
will
be
an
alliance
of
partners
who
are
working
on
this
natural
surface
trail
system
together.
L
The
way
that
it
will
work
will
be
through
a
series
of
agreements
among
all
of
our
groups,
plus
an
annual
work
plan,
so
that
it's
very
clear
what
projects
we
will
be
taking
on
and
who
will
be
doing
what
on
an
annual
basis
and
will
have
renewed
annual
work
plans
every
year.
It
looks
we're
going
to
begin
public
engagement
very
soon.
I
can't
wait
to
see
what
the
public
has
to
say
about
where
we
should
be
working
on
these
natural
surface
trails,
but
we've
broken
them
into
two
realms.
L
One
is
what
we're
calling
hubs
which
is
focusing
on
city-owned
property
or
some
of
our
partners,
such
as
unca,
who
have
a
lot
of
publicly
owned
property
and
a
lot
of
potential
for
trails
too,
and
not
only
looking
at
the
properties
where
trails
can
go,
but
also
what
kind
of
trails
should
go
on
there.
So
if,
if
a
certain
property
would
be
better
served
with,
say,
dedicated
mountain
bike
trails,
then
we'll
work
that
into
our
annual
work
plan,
but
also
dedicated
hiking
trails.
L
But
mostly
a
lot
of
multi-use
baths
is
what
we'll
probably
be
putting
in
with
this
series
of
natural
surface
trails.
The
other
realm
is
what
we're
calling
neighborhood
connectors,
and
that
would
be
if
a
neighborhood
uses
already
or
would
like
to
use
a
series
of
easements
through
people's
properties
to
be
able
to
make
shortcuts
or
logical
connections
in
their
neighborhood
for
local
neighbors
to
be
able
to
use
to
get
around
the
neighborhood
say
to
a
bus
stop
or
a
park
or
whatever.
L
The
other
thing
I
wanted
to
talk
with
you
about
today
are
the
neighborhood
greenway
connectors.
These
are
funds
from
the
transportation
bond
and
they
are
used
to
extend
greenways
or
to
create
connections
to
neighborhoods
and
greenways,
and
we
just
finished
two
of
them.
We
went
on
a
tour
of
them,
there's
the
elsies
bridge,
which
is
in
the
south
side
neighborhood
next
to
the
glenrock
apartments,
and
I
went
down
there
yesterday.
It
is
completely
done
we're
doing
the
final
walk
through
this
week.
L
The
railing
is
on
the
bridge,
I'm
happy
to
say,
and
then
this
is
the
reed
creek
extension,
which
goes
from
magnolia
street
to
elizabeth
street,
and
it
was
if
you
remember,
two
different
projects,
one
that
the
developer
of
the
five
points:
development,
where
the
bob
lawrence
power
mowers,
building
used
to
be
it's
a
brand
new
building.
Now
it
looks
wonderful
and
they
built
the
section
on
their
property,
and
then
we
finished
it
by
going
underneath
the
chestnut
street
bridge
and
tying
into
the
old
terminus
at
magnolia
street.
L
So
we
have
used
about
a
little
over
500
000
on
these
projects.
Now
and
we've
got
some
money
left
over
and
we
are
taking
a
look
at
two
different
projects
at
this
time.
L
One
is
what
we
will
use
as
a
pilot
project
for
the
neighborhood
connectors
of
the
asheville
unpaved
group,
and
it
is
in
a
property
off
of
our
code
drive.
The
property
owners
actually
contacted
us
with
the
interest
of
dedicating
their
easement
for
this
connector
trail,
and
once
you
pass
through
their
property.
L
I
think
I've
got
it
here
once
you
pass
through
their
property,
you
enter
into
city
property,
there's
a
water
pipe
easement
that
goes
through
right
next
to
the
creek,
and
you
come
out
on
beverly
road,
which
is
what
everyone
calls
downtown
hawk
creek,
where
the
barbecue,
restaurant
and
coffee
shop
are.
It's
also
about
20
feet
away
from
the
opening
of
our
trailhead
of
the
haw
creek
park.
L
I
don't
know
community
base
of
of
hog
creek
there.
The
second
project
that
we
are
investigating
to
use
the
money
on
would
be
to
implement
a
part
of
the
rhododendron
greenway.
The
rhododendron
greenway
is
kind
of
parallel
to
the
harmony
creek
greenway
in
the
west,
asheville
neighborhoods,
the
pro
the
area
that
we're
going
to
be
implementing
goes
through
a
city-owned
property
that
it
used
to
be
an
armory.
L
If
you
know
that
location
off
of
shelburne
road
and
it
in
this
project,
we
would
construct
a
crosswalk
on
shelburne
road
so
that
you
can
go
from
how
many
creeks
trailhead
here
to
the
armory
property.
L
Oh,
I
didn't
mean
to
do
that
and
go
and
then
through
the
armory
property,
it
would
tie
into
a
west
asheville
neighborhood
on
tallmadge
road,
which
is
a
fairly
low
traffic
neighborhood.
L
And
if
you
were
to
continue
walking
along
tallmadge
road,
you
would
make
it
to
the
west
asheville
park
and
so
we're
looking
at
the
cost
of
both
of
these
projects.
Right.
L
We're
able
to
if
we're
able
to
afford
to
do
both
of
these
projects,
they
are
the
ones
that
we
would
like
to
move
forward
with.
H
Lucy,
I
have
a
question
lucy.
You
were
talking
about
with
two
extension
projects,
and
could
you
repeat
how
those
are
funded
again,
they're.
L
All
all
of
those
projects,
so
the
two
that
are
done
and
the
two
that
I
just
suggested
that
we
are
looking
into
are
done
with
a
transportation
bond
project.
The
pot
of
money
is
called
neighborhood,
greenway
connectors,
which
is
extremely
confusing
because
we
have
another
project
funded
with
federal
dollars,
called
the
greenway
connector.
L
C
L
B
C
I
just
want
to
encourage
you
all
to
talk
about
the
gap
plan
to
everyone.
You
know
I
have
taken.
Lucy
has
some
posters
and
I've
taken
them
to
all
the
bike,
shops
and
business
cards.
C
C
C
The
next
item
of
business
is
the
new
committee
members.
Now
lucy
has
sent
us
copies
of
all
the
12
different
people
who
have
applied
to
be
members
to
our
committee,
and
hopefully
all
of
you
have
read
them.
They're
pretty
interesting
people
and
they
do
cover
a
lot
of
different
sections
of
the
city,
which
is
important.
We
do
want
to
make
sure
that
we
have
representation
from
all
the
different
areas
of
asheville
and
it's
a
good
idea
to
include
people
who
are
various
nationalities.
C
H
Is
the
application
period
still
open?
I
could
get
the
word
out
to
people
if
we're
looking
for
a
more
diverse
applicant
pool.
C
L
Is
still
open,
but
we
do
have
12
people
who've
been
waiting
a
long
time
to
be
considered.
So
why
don't
we
get
through
these
12
and
then
we'll
decide
how
many
more
openings
we
have.
B
L
You
can
have
up
to
four
more
it's
that
would
max
out
the
committee
to
11.
Plus
you
have
four
ex-officios,
that's
a
big
committee.
You
don't
need
to
have
that
many.
If
you
don't
want
to.
G
Could
we
pursue
a
path
where
we
try
to
approve
two
from
this
current
pool
and
leave
too
open
where
we
look
for
more
levels
of
diversity.
L
Yes,
there's
no
problem
with
that.
It
might
actually
be
advantageous
to
only
take
two
now
and
two
later,
just
so
that
you're
staggering
the
number
of
people
who
come
on
and,
unfortunately,
step
off
at
the
same
time,
that's
when
it
makes
it
really
hard
is
when
a
lot
of
people
have
to
leave
a
committee.
At
the
same
time,.
B
A
There
we
go
when
we
say
four:
is
that
including
the
fact
that
paul
is
leaving
yes,
okay,.
A
A
comment
that
I
have
after
reading,
through
all
the
applications
I
mean
there
were
some
very
qualified
and
very
enthusiastic
people
in
there,
but
everyone
in
there
was
north
montford
west,
except
for
one
person
was
from
south
asheville
and
I
don't
think
we
have
anyone
from
south
asheville
at
this
point
and
one
person
lives
in
downtown
and
so
both
of
those
stood
out
to
me
just
for
the
fact
that
we
want
diversity
within
our
neighborhoods
that
there
was
a
person
from
south
and
a
person
from
downtown,
because
those
were
it's
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
I
think
those
are
places
that
we
geographically
don't
have
anyone
from
right.
A
B
J
B
C
Which,
I
think
is
very
good,
gives
us
some
diversity:
racial
diversity,
yeah
and,
let's
see
south,
was
jerry.
Senor.
C
L
Have
is
she
the
person
that
that
connect
buncombe
was
talking
to
to
maybe
join
their
committee.
C
And
he's
going
to
be
taking
over
mel's
job
as
treasurer,
so
that's
really
good.
G
I
also
noticed
that
elita
or
elida
woods
her
application
just
generally
stood
out
to
me.
I
think
that
she
exhibited
a
breadth
of
experience
and
like
hands-on
work
and
actual
you
know
unsolicited.
You
know
work
for
this
city.
That
should
go
a
long
way
in
considering
this.
C
J
D
F
L
C
B
F
J
L
Here,
just
look
on
the
chat:
okay,.
H
Yeah,
I
wasn't
included
in
that
email.
Apparently
thank
you
for
sharing
it.
I
guess
I'll
address
that
later
with
you
lucy
about
making
sure
I'm
on
janet's
email
list,
yeah
I'll,
have
money.
She's
writing
my
list.
Thank
you.
G
I
did
want
to
say
one
more
specific
thing
about
another
applicant
and
that's
ana
pizzo,
whom
I
work
with
at
the
flying
bike.
She
didn't
attach
a
a
cover
letter,
which
I
think
that
that,
should
you
know,
cover
letters,
go
a
long
way
to
tell
you
how
people
feel
about
the
greenways.
But
I
can
tell
you
from
personal
experience,
working
with
her
that
she
is
very
passionate
about.
G
A
Well,
I
wondered-
and
maybe
someone
already
asked
this
and
I
missed
it-
does
anybody
know
jerry?
I
just
sanor,
I
and
no.
I
like
I
like
the
fact
that
she
is
someone
from
south
asheville
yeah.
I
think
that's
it.
That's
an
important
addition
of
geographically
that
we
do
not
have
on
our
committee
that
that's
all
I'll
say
about
that.
I
don't
know
if
she
stood
out
more
than
some
other
people
other
than
that
that
geographic
difference
stood
out
to
me.
H
Yeah,
I
agree
having
a
different
geographic
location
and
perspective
and
her
background
seems,
I
think
it
would
align
well
with
our
work.
C
C
J
C
C
A
G
G
Yeah,
can
you
just
hold
me
off
to
the
end
yeah,
I'm
gonna
read
some.
H
B
C
H
A
So,
if
anybody's
really
passionate
about
somebody
that
was
in
those
applications
speak
now,.
C
C
C
L
I
looked
into
the
address
of
jerry
and
she
does
not
live
in
this
neighborhood.
L
G
Well,
that
makes
this
very
easy
for
me.
I
would
like
to
nominate
elida.
I
think
that
you
know
just
to
remind
everybody
on
the
committee
that
you
know
geography,
matters
and
ethnicity
matters,
but
also
you
know.
We
need
to
remember
that
what
we
need
to
have
as
a
body
of
people
who
are
shepherding
greenways
forward,
applied,
commitment
and.
G
Everybody
loves
greenways
so
that
that's
that's
the
base,
but
I
think
that
what
you
see
in
a
candidate
like
elita
is
it
elita,
lucy.
G
Is
someone
who
has
actually
done
the
work
and
and
worked
in
these
directions
and
will
be
a
strategic
thinker?
So
I
think
that
she's,
a
great
applicant.
C
F
F
A
Sonny
yeah,
I
say
yay
and
I'm
also,
I
put
a
lot
of
stock
in
the
fact
that
mary
and
david
recommend
this
person,
because
they
were
both
just
amazing
committee
members,
yeah.
B
C
I
B
M
H
As
in
a
related
aside,
we
might
want
to
review
how
we're
the
application
pro
or
like
how
we're
putting
the
application
information
out
there.
I'm
happy
to
share
with
people,
but
I
remember
a
year
ago,
in
the
fall
when
I
applied,
I
was
a
bit
confused
and
you
someone
else
had
mentioned
that
some
applicants
didn't
include
cover
letters.
H
We
might
want
to
revisit
like
how
that
appears
on
the
user.
End
yeah
and
the
clarity
of
it
great
idea
and
also
yeah
in
a
way
to
like
more
freely
share
that
once
we
do
like
a
link
to
it,
and
just
out
of
curiosity,
can
permanent
residents
serve
on
a
committee.
L
Great,
so
the
best
way
to
send
information
about
our
boards
and
commissions
is
through
links
found
on
our
boards
and
commission
page
through
the
city
of
asheville.
That's
important
because
there
are
old
applications
out
there
that
don't
look
right
and
they
have
mary
webber's
name
as
chair
still,
and
you
know
they
just
float
out
there
in
the
ethernet
of
the
tubes
of
the
internet
or
whatever,
and
so
we
can't
get
rid
of
them.
But
the
best
way
to
share
is
directly
through
the
board
and
commission
pages
links.
C
There
was
something
somewhere
that
I
was
reading
that
still
had
cam
down
as
the
chair
yeah,
so
that
is
kind
of
confusing
okay.
So,
let's
move
on
to
the
next
item
of
business,
which
is
the
greenway
committee
updates,
our
ex
officio
members,
do
any
of
you
well
mike
already
shared
something
with
us
mike.
Do
you
have
anything
else
you
want
to
share
like
so.
N
No,
the
one
thing
is
that
asheville
bikes
is
really
following
the
mpo
and
the
recommendations
to
take
some
of
these
upcoming
projects.
That
would
impact
our
multi-use
off
the
tip
and
we're
sort
of
right
now
we're
digging
into
why
and
what
the
ramifications
for
that
is,
and
you
can
expect
us
to
be
publishing
about
it
within
the
next
two
weeks.
The
first
vote
is
tomorrow.
C
N
And
then,
additionally,
the
one
of
the
things
that
was
going
to
be
you
know
fixed
or
a
part
of
the
ending
of
the
rad
tip.
Was
I
don't
the
number
number
I
don't
know,
but
the
amboy
and
meadow
road
currently
where
the,
where
the
multi
use
and
the
protected
bike
lane
terminate
at
amboy
bridge,
that's
becoming
a
very
unpredictable
or
it
is
a
very
unpredictable
for
environment
for
pedestrians
and
cyclists.
N
So
aov's
policy
infrastructure
committee
were
down
there.
On
friday,
we
took
a
bunch
of
photos,
measurements
and
we
are
right
now
developing
some
options
for
what
what
could
be
done
in
the
short
term
to
make
it
a
less
lethal
situation.
B
L
Just
just
to
remind
everyone:
amboy
road
is
owned
by
the
state,
not
the
city.
We,
the
cities,
is
also
looking
into
this
as
well.
It
would
be
great
to
coordinate
mike
on
that,
and
we've
been
doing
some
initial
traffic
counts
on
the
bridge,
so
that
we
can
approach
the
d.o.t
on
about
that.
As
you
know,
they
have
a
road
improvement
project
for
amboy
and
meadow
road,
but
it
has
been
postponed
until
2029
for
construction,
so.
N
N
N
Someone
has
to
be
killed
or
injured
before
money
can
be
released.
Is
that
is
that
correct
or
incorrect?
Do
you
know.
L
I
don't
know,
but
I
don't
think
that
that's
the
policy,
it
might
be
the
actions
the.
L
K
G
I
believe
there's
a
process
for
the
city
to
adopt
control
or
ownership
of
ncdot
roadways,
and
I
don't
know
whether
that's
being
examined.
I
know
it
would
come
with
a
huge
cost,
considering
bridge
engineering
and
everything
else,
but
that
timeline
of
2029
somebody
will
be
hurt
or
killed.
Given
those
number
of
years.
O
There's
a
this:
is
chris
joyell.
There
is
a
dispossession
process
for
d.o.t
conveying
that
property,
but
it's
from
what
I
understand
with
our
dealings
on
east
patent
nav,
it's
very
complicated
and-
and
I
haven't
yet
to
see
a
really
clear
procedure
for
how
that
gets
done,
and
what
I've
found
typically
is
that
the
city
tends
to
be
a
little
bit
hesitant
to
adopt
those
rows,
because,
like
richard
what
you
had
mentioned,
the
added
expense,
the
maintenance,
the
angling.
L
I
just
want
to
make
a
correction
about
where
the
greenway
application
is.
It
is
on
the
city
of
asheville's
greenway
webpage,
and
I
put
posted
the
link
there.
B
N
Okay,
so
then
the
and
then
the
the
the
project
of
the
bridge
from
yeah
amboy
bridge
to
the
the
multi-use
facilities.
C
Well,
you
would
have
there
is
a
turn
arrow
there,
so
the
cyclist
would
have
the
ability
to
turn
when
no
one
else.
Well,
you
they're
supposed
to
be
a
no
turn
on
red
sign
for
those
people
who
are
on
the
road
going
south
on
lyman.
E
C
E
N
But
a
bike
box
isn't
going
to
do
any
good
on
the
coming
across
the
bridge
because
there's
no.
C
L
N
B
G
Yeah,
claudia,
I
guess
I
would
counter
what
you're
saying
I
get,
what
you're
saying,
but
a
lot
of
people
are
like
walking
their
bikes
across
that
shoulder
sidewalk
and
they
are
sneaking
up
on
the
right
and
you
know
not.
A
lot
of
people
have
the
confidence
to
take
the
lane
to
be
in
the
left.
Turn
lane
there.
So
a.
J
L
G
N
We
were
there
for
an
hour
and
what's
happening
is
I
mean
this
will
be
my
last
remark
on
it
because
it's,
but
it's
it's
a
pretty
complex
issue.
You
know
and
yeah
you
know,
because
of
where
it
is
it's
on
the
greenway.
N
So
you
have
a
lot
of
you
know
when
we
talk
about
the
interested
and
curious
riders
that
you
know
30
to
40
to
50
of
the
people
who
are
just
getting
on
a
bicycle,
they
don't
have
all
of
that
urban
riding
experience
and
they're
riding
on
the
greenway
and
then
they're
getting
up
and
they
have
to
cross
the
bridge
to
reconnect
to
the
other,
the
other
piece
of
the
greenway.
N
When
we
were
down
there,
we
had
like
five
cyclists
who
had
opted
to
get
off
their
bike
and
walk
their
bicycle
in
the
travel
lane
across
the
bridge.
C
It's
this
is
all
the
reason
why
we
need
to
get
the
west
side
of
the
river
or
greenway
completed,
so
people
don't
have
to
come
across
the
bridge
in
that
direction.
They
could
go
all
the
way
down
to
the
new
belgium
and
then
come
across
the
smith
bridge
instead
and
that's
what
they
should
be
encouraged
to
do.
J
J
C
N
I
mean
not
only
that
but
like
I've
got
a
lot
of
skills,
but
if
I'm
riding
with
my
six-year-old
daughter.
N
A
K
N
Yeah
and
then
I've
reached
out
to
steph
or
she
reached
out
to
me
and
basically
said
lucy.
What
you're
saying
is
like
hey.
You
know,
I
understand:
asheville
on
bikes
is
sticking
their
nose
down
there.
It's
gonna
work
much
better
if
we
collaborate
and
put
something
together
that
we
agree
with
and
then
try
and
move
it
forward.
N
So
absolutely
and
and
then
again
you
know
like
for
the
dot
to
pull
this
off
of
the
tip.
I
mean
it's
it
it
it.
N
This
requires
a
redesign
and
we're
about
to
delay
that
by
at
least
10
years,
but
maybe
by
the
time.
C
I
would
recommend
that
everybody
get
on
the
mpo
and
make
comment
about
amboy,
road,
meadow,
road
and
swananoa
river
road.
The
comment
I
made
says:
if
we
are
working
towards
vision,
zero,
we
need
to
be
making
it
safe
for
people
who
are
walking
and
biking,
and
that
is
more
important
than
moving
a
lot
of
cars.
H
Claudia
I'm
looking
for
just
where
to
communicate
that
through
you
said
to
get
on
mpo
and
express.
C
H
I
maybe
it
got
in
my
trash
or
something
and
it's
from
I'm
sorry.
The
person
who
sent
the
email
is
judy.
H
O
No,
I
don't
think
so.
Okay,
unless
you
have
something,
can
you
remind
me,
I
don't
think
I.
M
None
specific
other
than
noticing
a
lot
of
campsites
on
french
broad
river
west
greenway
corridor
at
the
on
our
karen
cragnolon
park
site
at
the
base
of
state
street.
We
are
moving
ahead
on
some
environmental
studies
and
hopefully
we'll
be
able
to
look
at
the
option
of
separating
out
the
development
of
the
greenway
from
the
development
of
the
park.
So
updates,
hopefully,
will
come
in
the
next
couple
months
as
to
that
feasibility.
C
C
C
E
L
L
Are
free
to
adjourn
whenever
you
guys
are
ready.
