Are
you
paul
d'angelo
with
the
Community
Development
Department
and
we
are
letting
you
know
that
we
are
a
hack,
is
interested,
adding
two
members
to
the
committee
to
take
it
from
nine
people
to
11
people
and
add
a
little
bit
of
expertise,
particularly
perhaps
in
areas
of
the
banking
or
mortgage
financing,
just
to
bring
some
of
those
players
to
the
table.
To
add
to
the
conversation,
especially
when
it
comes
to
adopting
policies
that
we
can
use,
was.
A
C
I
think
it
all
came
when
about
when
Scott
Devon
stepped
down
from
MHO,
which
got
the
conversation
started
that
okay
with
us
losing
a
member
and
going
back
out
for
an
additional,
perhaps
non-profit,
developer,
remember!
Is
there
anybody
else
that
we're
missing
around
the
table
that
we'd
like
to
be
at
the
table,
so
that
kind
of
prompted
that
conversation
to
add
more
people.
D
C
C
B
C
One
expertise,
I
think
everyone's
talked
about
deciding
I,
have
been
a
banker
at
the
table
and
then
again
with
Scott
stepping
down
somebody
in
that
commercial
development
field
for
multifamily
to
understand,
especially
from
perhaps
the
nonprofit
world,
even
for-profit
world,
about
how
those
numbers
work
to
make
a
deal
work
and
then
understand
how
we
can
add
the
affordable
units
on
top
of
it.
So
but.
F
F
B
F
B
D
B
C
D
B
G
So
the
proposal
is
that
we
want
to
do
two
things.
It's
a
two
prongs
here.
One
is
to
make
an
exception
to
the
existing
bylaws
that
would
allow
the
current
chair
Dan
Garrett,
to
serve
for
an
additional
year.
He
would
otherwise
otherwise
be
term
limited
to
come.
This
May
he's
done
two
full
three
to
full
three-year
terms,
so
he's
otherwise
term
limited.
G
We
don't
have
another
chairperson
identified
right
now,
so
this
would
give
us
some
additional
time
to
identify
an
appropriate
chair
from
the
existing
body
or
from
new
appointments
that
may
be
forthcoming
and
and
allowed,
and
just
continue
to
serve
us
for
another
year
and
have
some
continuity
and
leadership.
The
other
portion
of
it
is
to
amend
the
existing
bylaws
to
allow
non
Hyack
members
to
serve
on
the
subcommittees
that
have
been
formed
by
hi
Act
right
now.
The
bylaws
limit
us.
G
It's
only
members
of
the
homeless
initiative,
Advisory
Committee
that
can
serve
on
those
subcommittees,
which
obviously
requires
an
awful
lot
of
people
in
terms
of
meeting
attendance
and
and
so
forth.
But
it
also
doesn't
bring
some
of
the
subject
matter,
expertise
that
we
need
to
have,
in
particular
areas
of
services
and
resources
and
and
the
housing
component
for
the
homeless
population.
So
we'd
like
to
bring
in
some
additional
parties
to
serve
on
those
subcommittees.
B
Look,
this
will
look
a
lot
like
multimodal
in
the
sense
that,
like
council,
doesn't
get
involved
in
the
subcommittee's,
like
council
doesn't
get
involved
in
transit
or
greenways,
and
so
you
know
they
just
set
up
those
same
committees
and
then
somebody
that's
on
that
committee
subcommittee.
Actually.
B
G
Yes,
the
the
the
way
we
structured
is
that
a
person
who
currently
sits
on
the
homeless
initiative
visor
a
committee
has
to
chair
the
subcommittee
and
there
have
to
be
at
least
two
additional
members
from
the
Advisory
Committee
currently,
but
up
to
three
people
who
are
not
members
of
the
current
homeless
initiative,
Advisory
Committee
could
be
appointed
by
the
chair
and
the
subcommittee
chair
and
then
ratified
by
the
homeless
initiative.
Advisory
Committee
as
a
whole.
B
G
Emily
ball
with
homeward
bound
is
the
current
vice
chair
and
she's
got
so
much
on
her
plate
right
now
that
she
didn't
I
asked
her
several
times.
If
she
would
step
into
the
chairs
are
all
now.
As
you
know,
they're
they're
working
on
a
permanent
supportive
housing
project
out
on
Oak
Hill
Drive
she's
got
numerous
obligations
just
internally
to
the
organization.
It
just
didn't
feel
like
she
could
devote
the
time
to
serving
in
the
chairs
role.
There's
a
couple
of
other
people
that
are
kind
of
interested,
but
haven't
really
risen
to
the
surface.
Yet.
B
G
Correct
in
a
year's
time,
so
we
thought
that
giving
Dan
an
additional
year
he's
got
six
years
of
experience
with
this
particular
body.
He
was
on
the
board
for
homeward
bound
for
a
while
he's
got
extensive
experience
around
this
issue
and
just
to
have
continuity
and
leadership.
Since
he
knows
the
issues
so
well,
we
just
thought
it
would
be
good
to
ask
for
an
exception,
so
he
could
serve
an
additional
year.
A
D
B
E
D
B
B
We
had
I,
don't
know,
maybe
13
applications
originally
and
then
basically,
seven
that
were
responsive
and
responded
to.
The
question
is
for
did
we
pull
out
given,
given
that
we
basically
have
seven
responses?
What
I
was
gonna
propose
to
City
Council
tonight,
and
you
know
I
hear
differently,
is
that
we
just
I
mean
normally.
We
would
interview
at
least
two
for
every
slot
and.

E
A
I
do
have
a
not
necessarily
a
full
excuse
me,
a
formal
recommendation,
but
to
ask
that
it
seems
like
we're
moving
kind
of
in
this
direction,
but
to
maybe
ask
if
we
could
possibly
have
the
city
manager
ask
equity
Department
of
they
could
make
an
observation
and
recommendation
toward
it.
Since
we
do
have
kind
of.
We
have
some
other
boards
that
are
getting
the
bus
pass
things,
but
then
also.
We
have,
of
course,
who
won't
be
getting
like
you
mentioned
before
a
stipend
if
it
should
pass
so
just
kind
of
to
see
where
that.
B
E
A
A
D
B
B
You
know
we
we
did.
Sarah
did
benchmarking
for
other
from
other
cities
and
they're.
Really,
this
is
not.
You
know
they
pick
out.
It
looks
to
me
like,
if
there's
any
sort
of
stipends
or
anything
like
that,
its
first
it's
for
very
specific
boards
and
commissions,
and
they
look
to
be
ones
that,
like
our
require
a
lot.

A
Do
have
one
recommendation
and
I
don't
get
probably
that
even
it's
not
even
in
our
purview
really
but
I
guess
I
could
say
it
so
when
up
yesterday,
when
I
attended
the
Biddy
meeting,
this
is
about
streaming
services,
I,
don't
know
if
we
can
get
somebody
and
auntie
or
something.
But
when
you
go
online
to
look
for
where
to
click
on
the
link
to
stream
yeah.
