If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
Good
afternoon
good
morning,
I'm
vice
mayor,
shanika
smith,
the
chair
of
boards
and
commissions
committee,
and
I'd
like
to
welcome
you
to
the
february
9th
remote
meeting.
All
council
committee,
members
and
staff
are
participating
virtually.
We
appreciate
your
patience
as
we
work
through
holding
these
meetings
a
bit
differently
to
help
our
audience
follow
along
I'll
state.
Each
section
of
the
agenda
aloud.
We
are
streaming,
live
on
the
virtual
engagement
hub,
which
is
accessible
through
the
virtual
engagement
hub
link
on
the
front
page
of
the
city
website.
B
B
C
B
Councilwoman
kim
rohney,
hello
assistant
city
manager,
richard
white
good
morning,
deputy
city
clerk,
sarah
twiliger
assistant
clerk,
jerry
goldberg
good
morning
and
now
we'll
get
into
the
agenda.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve
january's
minutes.
E
B
A
We
are
well
the
first
thing
on
the
agenda:
is
the
school
board
process?
Okay,
basically,
you
have
the
packets,
we
had
16
applicants,
and
that
includes
the
three
current
members
at
this
point.
We
are
asking
for
direction
on
the
next
step,
whether
you
want
essays
and
interviews
and
if
you
do,
of,
of
the
entire
pool
or
if
you
have
want
to
narrow
it
down
to
perhaps
the
top
five
or
whatever,
so
we're
just
looking
for
direction
from
council
as
to
what's
next,
so
that
we
can
communicate
with
the
candidates.
A
B
I
think
I
skipped
something
on
the
agenda
and
that
is
public
comment.
We
want
to
take
public
comment
at
the
top
of
all
of
our
meetings,
so
we
did
receive
two
pre-recorded
messages,
voice
messages
and
four
emails
for
public
comment.
Both
reports
have
been
made
available
to
the
public
in
the
public
materials
folder.
B
Now
I
open
up
the
live
public
comment.
I
apologize
jerry
I'll,
open
up
the
public
comment
now
for
half
an
hour
staff.
Are
there
any
callers
in
the
queue.
F
Good
morning,
my
name
is
rachel
reiser,
I'm
calling
this
morning
to
talk
about
the
board
of
education
appointments
as
a
concerned:
community
member
former
former
asheville
city
schools,
elementary
teacher
and
a
parent
of
a
rising
kindergartner
communication.
Transparency
and
collaboration
are
essential.
The
main
responsibility
that
the
board
of
education
has
to
our
asheville
city
students.
Actually
school
students
is
the
responsibility
to
assure
them
a
quality
education.
F
It
is
definitely
unique
that
we
have
an
appointed
school
board.
I
am
curious
why
there
are
no
protocols
in
place
to
ensure
that
these
appointees
are
effectively
serving
the
students
of
our
district.
The
inequity
in
our
system
have
gotten
worse
over
time,
not
better.
The
students
of
asheville
city
schools
and
their
families
deserve
accountability.
F
The
way
that
I
understand
it
is
that
city
council
is
the
only
place
for
ensuring
these
appointed
members
are
doing
their
job.
So
I
ask
you
what
are
ways
that
you
are
taking
responsibility
for
these
appointments?
How
does
the
city
of
asheville
make
sure
the
appointed
school
board
members
are
meeting
the
top
criteria
of
quality
education
for
asheville
city
school
students?
How
are
you
all
assessing
who
you
will
select
right
now
in
the
middle
of
a
pandemic,
when
it
is
even
more
clear
than
before
that
changes
in
our
education
systems
are
necessary?
F
How
are
you
assessing
how
the
current
board
has
done
with
ensuring
quality
education
for
all
students?
What
are
the
current
holes
that
potential
new
board
members
could
support?
Please
show
us
what
it
means
to
truly
prioritize
student
achievement
opportunity
and
dealing
with
the
major
gaps
in
our
struggling
asheville
city
school
system.
F
My
son
starts
kindergarten
next
school
year
and
I
am
hopeful
that
our
community
can
make
some
much-needed
changes
to
address,
needs
and
inequities
so
that
when
my
son
is
graduating,
asheville
city
schools
will
look
a
lot
stronger
and
like
a
more
just
school
system.
Thank
you
for
your
consideration.
Thank
you
for
listening
and
I
wish
you
luck
with
all
of
your
work.
B
A
Yes,
so
so,
as
I
had
said
previously,
you
have
the
applicants
16
total,
including
the
three
current.
We
have
provided
essay
questions
from
past
processes
and
are
looking
for
direction
now,
if
you
want
to
require
essays
and
or
interviews
and
of
all
the
candidates
or
select
final
number.
E
Vice
mayor,
when
I
was
looking
over
the
packets
well
I'll,
go
ahead
and
say
this.
My
proposal
would
be
that
we
narrow
the
field
at
this
committee
level
and
require
and
make
recommendations
and
require
written
essays
from
each
as
well
as
subsequent
interviews.
My
thought
was
that
perhaps
we
could.
E
Take
emails
and
interviews
from
the
current
members
and
add
an
additional
three,
maybe
four
to
that
pool
so
that
we
would
have
seven
that
do
interviews
and
essays.
B
Okay,
so
you're
saying
that
we
include,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
I
got
what
you
said
for
us
to
move
forward
to
narrow
the
field
a
bit
and
to
allow
those
individuals
to
receive
the
essay
questions
and
move
forward
to
the
interview
process
before
full
council.
B
Is
there
any
let's
take
that
as
one
recommendation
so.
D
I
definitely
support
that
internet.
I
think
one
of
the
things
that
I
would
ask
is
that
our
eligible
reappointees
also
answer
the
questions
they
may
have
updates,
since
they
answered
questions
last
time.
B
So
my
question
is
jerry
and
sarah,
it
seems
that
you
all
were
actually
requesting
two
things
and
I
think
we've
named
the
how
how
we
want
to
move
forward.
How
many
we
haven't
named,
how
many
people
so
do.
We
need
a
separate
motion
for
the
essay
and
interview
and
then
come
back
with
another
motion
to
exact
who
will
move
forward.
A
Did
you
want
to
include
in
that,
though,
that
you
were
narrowing
it
to
the
three
current
members
plus
four
additional,
not
naming
the
who
in
this,
but
but
the
limiting.
E
B
D
B
Second,
okay,
I
have
a
motion
and
a
second
I'll
do
a
roll
call
vote,
councilwoman,
mosley,
aye,
councilwoman,
roney,
aye
and
myself.
I
now,
let's
move
forward
to
identify
the
additional
five.
We
don't
have
to
name
the
the
ones
that
are
eligible
for
reappointment.
So
let's
have
a
conversation
about
the
the
five
members
that
we're
going
to
add
the
five
applicants
that
we're
adding.
E
So
what
I'll
do
is
banner
vice
mayor
I'll
mention
before
I
had
in
mind,
and
there
might
very
well
be
some
overlap.
I
don't
really
know
so.
The
names
I
was
interested
in
were
stephen
blunt
peyton
o'connor,
michelle
delaney
delange
and
george
seberg.
E
E
He
attended
he's
a
graduate
of
the
asheville
city.
School
system
he's
currently
a
juvenile
court
counselor,
and
he
just-
and
he
just
has
significant
community
outreach
used
to
work
for
the
housing
authority.
I
found
his
application,
particularly
impressive,
peyton
o'connor,
a
parent
of
five,
a
very
interesting
background
works
with
parks
and
recreation
there's
also
or
was
also
a
platooning
sergeant.
E
George
seberg
was
a
former
executive
director
for
the
asheville
city,
schools
foundation,
a
former
middle
school
teacher
as
well
as
an
equity
facilitator
and
then
finally,
michelle
a
fulbright
scholar,
she's
a
grad
school
student
in
urban
education,
with
a
focus
on
anti-racism
and
urban
education.
Those
were
my
four
standouts.
B
There
is
some
overlap
with
your
selections
in
mind,
but
I'll
start.
I
first
start
by
adding
to
to
make
the
five
total
with
jacqueline
mccark
she's
a
dean
of
student
she's
over
dean
of
students
at
unca
she's,
a
parent
she
she
mentioned
being
knowledgeable
in
aces,
adverse
childhood
experience,
community
trauma
and
some
of
the
bias
when
it
comes
to
testing.
B
She
just
had
a
wealth
of
knowledge
as
it
pertains
to
behavioral
intervention.
I
would
like
to
add
her
to
your
number
to
make
five
him.
D
Well,
we
have
a
lot
of
a
wealth
of
resourceful
neighbors
who
applied
for
this
position
and
I'm
just
so
thankful.
There
is
some
overlap.
I
have
the
intent
of
lifting
up
pepe
acebo,
libby,
kyles,
kate
fisher,
as
well
as
steven
and.
B
Michelle
okay,
so
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
the
process
because
we
we
have
now.
I
guess
the
overlap
would
identify
who
sarah
stephen
blood
and
michelle.
G
G
So
that's
the
top
three
and
then
we
have
some
I'm
just
trying
to
think
how.
G
Kind
of
think,
historically,
we
have
and
what
we
can
do.
As
you
know,
this
will
go
to
the
full
council
as
well,
for
the
full
council
to
vote
so
and
let
me
know
your
thoughts,
bringing
forth
all
these
names
and
maybe
doing
a
tally
vote
tonight
or
there
may
be
different
discussion
and
that
maybe
another
council
member
adds
other
names.
But
I
think
that
is.
E
D
Mother
there's
two
ways
to
do
it.
When
we
made
a
commitment
to
walk
out
of
this
meeting
with
five
one
is,
we
could
have
a
motion
for
the
two
that
all
of
us
overlapped
and
then
a
motion
for
an
additional
three.
D
A
motion
for
five
and
it
may
or
may
not
pass
in
past
meetings.
I've
watched
usually
this
goes
to
the
full
council.
People
will
lift
up
three
names
and
there's
like
a
whittling
down,
but
that's
not
what
we
had
just
agreed
to
a
moment
ago.
E
Well
I'll
go
ahead
and
do
a
motion
for
five
and
if
it
passes
it
process,
if
it
doesn't
it
doesn't
you
don't
want
to
do
it
that
way?
Okay,
I
move
that
we
recommend
michelle
delange
peyton
o'connor
stephen
blunt
george
sieberg
and
jacqueline
remind
me
of
jacqueline's
last
name,
though
my
card.
B
My
card
I'll
second,
that
and
I'll
do
a
roll
call
vote
for
approval,
councilwoman
mosley
I
councilwoman
rony.
No
and
myself.
I.
B
B
So
we
do
have
february
appointments
to
be
made.
Let
me
get
to
my
page
around
appointments.
B
And
we
have
two
alternate
seats
for
board
of
adjustments.
No,
let
me
go
back
to
audit
committee.
The
staff
recommends
susan
darnell,
so
I
like
to
make
a
motion
to
appoint
susan
darnell
to
the
audit
committee.
Is
there
a
second.
D
B
B
I
like
motion
I
like
to
make
a
motion
to
appoint
christopher
fundanesh,
to
be
appointed
to
the
alternate
seat
and
to
re-advertise
for
the
second
seat.
Is
there
a
second
all
right,
councilwoman,
mosley,
councilwoman
rony?
I
and
myself
I
for
the
civic
center
staff,
recommends
chrissa
cincovich
and
I'd
like
to
move
forward
with
that
motion
to
appoint
chrisa.
B
Historically,
the
appointment
comes
from
our
comes
from
staff
comes
from
council
level
and
the
person
who
fills
that
seat
is
normally
our
cfo.
Our
cfo,
that
is
interim
tony
mcdowell,
is
interim
cfo,
so
I'll
make
a
motion
to
appoint
tony
mcdowell
to
that
seat.
Is
there
a
second
all
right
motion
and
second
councilwoman
mosley
councilwoman
roni?
I
and
myself?
I.
B
And
for
the
riverfront
development
commission
I'll
make
a
motion
to
appoint
ben
williamson
to
that
seat?
Is
there
a
second
second
right?
There's
a
motion
in
a
second
I'll:
do
a
roll
call
vote,
councilwoman,
mosley,
councilwoman
roney
I
and
myself.
B
I
now
we're
going
to
kick
it
back
to
our
clerk's
office
for
to
discuss
vacancy
outreach.
A
And
this
is
a
report
out
at
this
time,
just
to
give
you
an
indication
of
where
we've
been
and
where
we're
going.
The
goal
is
to
increase
the
applicant
pool
to
a
more
diverse
pool
there,
thereby
with
the
end
result
of
having
a
more
diverse
board
member
opportunities.
A
So
currently
the
vacancy
flyer
itself
goes
out
and
I'm
not
gonna
read
through
the
report,
since
that
you
have
it
and
it's
in
the
public
materials.
A
But
I
did
want
to
highlight
that
it
does
go
out
to
all
of
our
city
neighborhoods,
which
we
have
154
identified,
neighborhoods
with
just
about
28
000
members
in
that
social
media
platform.
So
there
itself
it's
hitting
about
28
000.
A
We
also
target
various
organizations
such
as
the
asia
asheville,
racial
equity
institute,
disability
partners
of
asheville
united
way,
beloved
the
asheville
school
system,
where
we
also
ask
them
to
share
with
their
congress
with
their
members.
We
are
doing
a.
We
started
with
the
february
vacancies
so
last
month
with
a
more
targeted
outreach
to
the
interdenominational
ministerial
alliance,
which
is
primarily
made
up
of
african
american
ministers,
not
solely,
but
primarily
with
a
targeted
outreach
asking
them
to
share
with
their
congregations,
and
we
received
positive
feedback
from
that.
A
I
am
in
the
process
now
of
reaching
out
to
various
media
outlets
in
an
attempt
to
not
just
get
them
to
share
the
information,
but
to
start
highlighting
some
of
the
boards
and
commissions
where
we
have
vacancies.
A
What
that
looks
like
will
vary
depending
on
the
media,
outlet
itself
and
the
forum,
but
we
are
targeting
specifically
this
month.
I
hope
to
target
wres
the
urban
news,
ola
carolina,
lanaticia,
wwnc
and
woxl.
A
D
Jerry,
if
I
may,
I've
been
asking
for
some
of
these
recommendations
for
a
minute,
so
I'm
so
glad
to
hear
that
we're
doing
some
outreach
with
radio
and
with
ola
carolina
for
print
and
urban
news
have
we
reached
out
to
jm
pro
who's,
also
doing
video
and
radio
outreach
and
community.
I.
D
Could
add
thank
you
and
if
we
could
add
co-think
as
well,
just
as
I'm
thinking
like
of
where
folks
are
doing
outreach
already,
and
what
I'm
understanding
is
that,
if
we
have
an
opportunity
to
translate
the
vacancy
language
into
spanish
would
be
a
welcome
invitation.
D
Even
if
that
includes
a
sentence
about
the
meetings
being
held
in
english,
that
it
will
be
more
welcoming
absolutely.
A
One
of
the
discussions
we're
holding
later
today
is
vulnerable
populations
within
that
that
our
department
serves
and
english
as
a
second
language
is
one
and
offering
translation
services.
I
don't
know
if
that's
a
possibility,
but
definitely
translating
some
of
the
materials
for
sure
is
something
that
I
would
like
to
see.
I
would
like
to
to
bring
forward
if,
if
I
may
ask
that
you
send.
B
On
that
note,
I
would
suggest
we
reach
out
to
cpc
center
for
participatory
change.
They
do
deep
work
around
language
justice,
so
they'll
be
able
to
do
interpretation
and
translation.
A
B
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
That's
good!
It's
good
work
and
now
under
unfinished
business.
I
think
we'll
keep
it
your
way
jerry.
You
have
some
updates
around
boards
and
commissions
application
form.
A
Yeah,
so
we
we
have
already
updated
the
application
to
inc
to
to
include
gender
identity,
as
opposed
to,
I
think,
before
it
was
just
listed
as
sex,
and
it
was
a
free
field,
but
we
now
have
already
updated
it
to
include
gender
identity.
However,
we've
been
working
closely
with
the
office
of
diversity
and
inclusion
to
revise
the
application
in
its
entirety
to
collect
more
demographic
information.
A
Of
course
that's
voluntary,
but
but
hopefully
to
collect
more
to
make
sure
there's
no
unintended
biases
that
that
are
rising,
that
we
can
see
and
to
change
some
of
the
content,
questions
to
try
and
really
pull
out
who
these
people
are
and
their
purpose
for
wanting
to
serve
our
community.
A
B
I'm
just
wondering
how
we
collect
data.
Is
there
any
way
if
we
were
looking
as
an
organization,
because
I
know
we
do
a
lot
of
think
tanks,
we
pull
together.
We
convene
community
members
around
policy
review.
Is
there
any
way
that
we
can
just
go
into
your
database
and
look
for
people
who
are
bilingual?
B
A
At
this
point,
that's
not
an
e,
that's
not
easy
to
do,
and
we're
capturing
only
a
few
specific
data
points
we
are
working,
though,
as
we
revise
the
application
we're
going
to
be
locking
down
some
of
those
fields.
So
it's
not
just
a
free
field
where
it's
very
difficult
to
then
report
out,
but
we'll
be
able
to
run
more
reports
right
now.
It's
with
the
few
data
fields
that
we
are
collecting.
A
It's
all
manually
done
with
just
spreadsheet
and
formulas
on
a
spreadsheet,
but
we
are
working
towards
automating
towards
getting
to
a
reporting
system
where
we
can
then
sort
and
validate
information
by
the
specific
field,
and
it
will
be
a
lot
easier
to
do
and
one
of
the
questions
that
we're
recommending
on
the
new
application
is
listing
languages,
for
instance
spoken
in
your
home.
What
is
your
preferred
language?
And
things
like
that?
B
I'll
just
mention
that,
because,
honestly,
we
do
get
applications
from
a
lot
of
talented
people
and
as
we
refine
our
community
engagement,
you
know.
Sometimes
we
can
just
go
straight
to
that
pool
that
large
pool
of
people
to
do
at
least
one
leg
of
our
community
engagement
and
then
do
outreach
to
to
other
people
in
the
community.
But
there
are
a
lot
of
talented
people
who
apply
so
and
thank
you
to
everybody
who
applied.
D
In
this
moment,
I
think
it's
really
there's
an
opportunity
to
realize
that
more
folks
may
be
able
to
participate
in
boards
and
commissions
if
we're
able
to
continue
even
a
part
of
the
meeting
as
virtual,
but
we
may
be
able
to
make
a
stronger
case
for
that
in
the
future.
If
we
understand
what
folks
transportation
options
are,
I
don't
know
how
that
will
fit
into
an
application
process,
but
especially
if
we
have
to
make
that
case
later
at
the
state
level
and
join
other
cities
across
the
state.
D
In
that
I
also
wanted
to
lift
up
that.
I've
had
the
great
pleasure
of
serving
on
boards
and
commissions
with
four
members
of
our
community
that
have
limited
or
no
vision.
So
I'd
really
want
to
like
remember
that
this
document
needs
to
be
accessible
regardless
of
whether
or
not
the
applicant
can
see.
So
I
know
I
don't
know
how
the
software
works,
but
I
know
there's
a
software
that
can
read
applications,
so
I
think
we're
going
to
have
to
be
intentional
about
checking
to
make
sure
the
application
is
acceptable
like
accessible.
B
Okay
looks
like
you
all:
have
more
information
about
the
housing
authority
seat
on
the
affordable
housing
advisory
commission,
a
hack.
A
So
they
hope
to
be
on
next
month's
board
and
commissions
council
committee
agenda
to
present
a
draft
resolution
for
you
all
to
take
forward
to
to
full
council.
So
we're
working
on
that
with
them.
E
I
wonder
I
just
have
a
question,
because
that
is
a
a
seat
specific
to
the
housing
authority.
Would
that
require
an
actual
application,
or
could
it
just
be
an
appointment.
B
And
this
is
a
good
example
how
we
could
probably
outreach
directly
to
people
of
housing
authority
who
has
already
applied
as
just
one
leg
of
outreach
and
then
go
outward,
because
I'm
I'm
sure
that
there
are
folks
of
housing
authority
who
are
interested
in
other
boards,
but
may
not
have
received
appointment.
But
they
might
also
be.
A
B
A
We
are
looking
for
direction
from
the
committee
on
how
to
handle
when
we
receive
applications
from
non-city
residents.
We've
received
a
few
in
the
past
from
county
residents,
but
not
necessarily
within
city
limits,
and
there
have
been
some
exceptions
made
where,
where
they
there
have
been
appointments
of
non-city
residents.
A
So
we
are
looking
for
direction
on
how
you
would
like
that
handled.
Moving
forward.
E
I'm
of
couple
of
minds
so
which
leads
me
to
go
on
a
case-by-case
basis.
Probably
I
feel
there
are
some
committees
that
require
such
specialized
skill
set
that
they
might
require
a
broadening
of
our
scope,
but
then,
on
the
other
hand,
thinking
through
an
equity
lens,
sometimes
because
it
is
expensive
to
live
in
the
city.
I
can
imagine
someone
who
lives
outside
the
city,
but
works
in
the
city
could
qualify.
So
maybe
we
would
need
to
make
sure
there's
some
type
of
city
touch
before
we
accept.
D
G
B
Yeah,
I
agree
with
the
direction
given
by
the
council,
women.
I
think
we
saw
it
last
month
with
the
audit
committee.
We
had
a
non-city
resident
apply
because
they
had
a
special
skill
set,
but
I
think
the
recommendation
came
that
if
we
had
exhausted
all
of
our
outreach,
then
that
person
would
be
appointed,
but
only
after
we've
exhausted
all
of
our
outreach,
and
I
think
we
did
it
after
two
meetings.
B
B
B
A
So
last
year
was
the
first
year
that
city
council
approved
transit
passes
as
a
as
a
thank
you
for
service
and
also
as
an
accessibility
assistance
for
committee
members
who
desired
or
needed
one,
and
we
continued
that
this
year
those
transit
passes.
All
who
requested
one
have
been
notified
that
those
are
now
available.
Of
course
it's
still
free
fares,
but
they
are
available
for
pickup
now
and
they
are
valid
through
december
31st
of
this
year.
A
D
I
have
to
say
something
about
this
one,
because
I,
when
I
was
serving
on
the
transit
committee
and
the
multimodal
it
really
did
remove
a
barrier
to
entry
to
have
that
pass.
It
made
it
more
possible
for
me
to
use
the
bus,
which
was
important
in
that
role,
so
that
I
better
understood
how
the
system
worked.
D
I
was
able
to
go
on
routes
and
better
understand
the
barriers
that
are
created
when
we
don't
have
access
to
transit
like
the
south
asheville
routes
not
running
often
enough,
but
I
was
maybe
would
not
have
been
able
to
do
that
without
the
pass,
but
it
really
gets
to
the
heart
of
why
fair,
free
transit
and
removing
a
barrier
to
access
is
is
a
true
benefit.
So
thank
you
for
making
that
possible
for
our
volunteers.
A
So
annual
reports
in
the
past
were
due
in
january
this
year,
because
of
covet
a
lot
of
the
boards
and
commissions
did
not
meet
or
did
not
meet
regularly.
So
we
pushed
the
date
back
to
march
8th,
but
really
the
takeaway
from
this
meeting
is
that
you
will
have
them
before
your
your
retreat
planning
meetings
in
march.
B
A
Have
again
because
we're
meeting
virtually
in
the
past,
sarah
would
be
the
one
to
actually
schedule
an
orientation
training
for
new
board
members
in
person
or
she
would
go
to
various
committee
meetings.
Commission
meetings
to
to
do
that.
Now
we
have
prepared
it's
an
18
minute,
video.
A
It
is
available
on
the
web
and
it's
also
now
going
to
be
included
in
the
appointment
letter,
but
hopefully
we're
still
encouraging
the
boards
to
schedule
a
new
board
member
orientation
because
there's
a
lot
of
information
that's
thrown
in
there
and
then
sarah
or
I
would
be
available
to
answer
any
questions
when
they
schedule
that.
So,
if
you
have
an
opportunity,
we
encourage
you
to
go
and
take
a
look
at
it.
G
And
also
paulina
in
equity
inclusion
has
a
big
segment
as
well,
and
she
talks
more
about
the
the
101
and
the
201
trainings
that
she
does.
So
it's
a
good
introduction.
As
far
as
the
clerk's
stuff,
we
talked
big
picture,
open
meetings,
laws
and
all
that
fun
stuff,
but
it
is
accessible
on
the
boards
and
commissions
webpage
and
again
it
will
be
in
their
appointment.
Letters.
B
A
C
C
I
do
want
to
encourage
this
committee
to
start
to
think
of
ways.
We
can
make
it
easier
for
residents
to
participate
in
the
meetings
themselves.
I
think
there's
some
basic
steps.
The
city
could
take
to
make
it
easier
for
residents
like
myself
to
know,
what's
going
to
come
up
at
meetings
and
to
participate,
so
I
think
the
city
should
make
sure
that
agendas
and
meeting
materials
are
published
ahead
of
time
consistently.
C
I
think
it's
really
critical
that
the
city
also
starts
thinking
beyond
our
virtual
meetings.
What
is
our
city
going
to
do,
even
when
meetings
go
back
to
an
in-person
format
and
how
can
we
make
sure
that
the
same
tools
that
are
available
now
stay
available
even
in
the
future,
so
things
like
live
streaming
meetings
allowing
virtual
attendance
if
state
law
allows
it
and
allowing
people
to
call
into
comments?
A
B
Okay,
is
there
any
more
discussion
from
the
committee
before
we
adjourn.
D
I
do
have
one
thing
that
I
think
has
to
be
addressed.
There
have
been
some
concerns
about
the
last
planning
and
zoning
commission
meeting
and
how
folks
were
able
to
have
public
comment.
D
So
just
it
gets
back
to
that
like
ability
to
participate,
and
we
need
folks
to
bring
their
professional
and
lived
experience
to
the
table
to
join
the
conversation.
So
I
think
we
are
going
to
need
an
official
response
and
maybe
some
sort
of
way
to
put
that
out
publicly
in
a
consistent
way.
B
Okay,
before
we
adjourn,
I
would
like
to
say
thank
you
to
the
clerk's
office.
This
was
an
exceptional
amount
of
work.
This
go
around
we're
bringing
together
a
board
of
education
process
and
all
of
that
information
and
even
reaching
back
to
study
how
we,
how
we
conducted
this
session
in
other
years
and
also
the
reappointments-
that's
always
a
heavy
lift.
So
thank
you
for
getting
all
the
information
to
us
in
time
and
on
time
with
that
being
said,
this
meeting
is
adjourned.
See
you
all
later.
