A
Hello,
everyone
recording
has
started
so
it's
a
open,
apo
assent,
api
meeting.
It's
me
and
fran
on
the
call.
Only
so
we're
it's
going
to
be
pretty
quick.
I'm
gonna
have
one
stuff
to
update
you
on
and
also
a
reminder
about
how
we
run
those
meetings.
A
So
the
first
thing
is
the
oktoberfest
update,
so
it's
13th
today,
right
13th
of
may
of
october.
A
We
have
35
issues
solved
and
merged
already
and
released
among
those
few
features,
for
example
the
pdf
generation
for
the
html
template,
and
there
are
a
few
issues
already
that
I
know
that
people
work
on
because
they
ask
if
they
can
be
assigned
to
those
or
ask
some
follow-up
questions,
so
there
will
be
more
two
days
ago.
I
realized
that
it
would
be
nice
to
know
how
those
people
learned
about
the
project
to
contribute
to
those
october
fest
issues.
A
So
I
will
do
a
a
follow
up
with
all
of
them,
because
yeah
we
tried
different
ways
to
advertise
it
so,
for
example,
the
first
person
I
I
checked
so
far
told
me
that
he
learned
not
from
the
not
from
the
blog
post
or
any
channel
like
this,
but
he
learned
from
my
post
on
the
discord
channel
on
the
official
profess
discord
channel
so
yeah.
A
I
think
it's
going
to
be
interesting
to
know
where
people
came
from
to
know
what
channels
to
address
more
and
that's
pretty
much
it
if
it
comes
to
october
first.
The
second
thing
is
that
just
a
reminder,
so,
since
the
the
work
from
home
started
because
of
pandemic-
and
we've
learned
about
this
interesting
fun
that
people
make
called
zoom
bombs,
we
and
actually
having
one
guy
joining
the
meeting
once
and
throwing
some
texts
in
the
channel,
we
decided
at
some
point
of
time.
A
I
don't
remember
what
month
was
it
april
or
something
like
this?
We
decided
that
since
that
moment
we
will,
you
will
have
to
be
admitted
to
join
the
meeting,
so
you
basically
join
the
zoom,
but
you
and
that
end
up
in
the
waiting
room.
And
then
we
just
admit
you
if
we
know
the
name
or
just
risk
that
we
don't
know
the
name,
but
we're
ready
also
to
drop
you
off
from
the
meeting
in
case
you
do
some
ugly
stuff.
A
A
So
as
a
reminder
just
remember,
because
I
right
before
we
started
recording,
I
noticed
that
jonathan
zabowski
from
solas
he
was
in
the
waiting
room,
but
before
I
managed
to
click
on
admit
he,
he
left
so
again.
Strong
reminder
that
we
just
when
you
join
the
meeting,
wait
for
us
to
admit
you
to
join,
don't
leave,
don't
run
away
and
it
sometimes
it
can
take
one
two
minutes
before
we
notice
and
that's
it
and
yeah
zoltan,
hey
man,
hi,
sorry
for
the
late,
I'm
a
bit
hectic
day
today,
no
worries.
A
We
are
also
kind
of
late,
so
we
basically
finished
so
we
had
only
one
item
on
the
agenda.
We
a
summary
of
how
we
work
with
the
oktoberfest.
So
do
you
maybe
have
something.
B
Actually,
I
have
something
very
interesting,
I'm
just
that's
why
I
joined.
Maybe
I'm
catching
you
up
on
that
I
just
coming
from
an
x-way,
webinar
and
and
with
their
unified
catalog,
and
I
just
asked
about
the
async
api
support
and
they
said
yes,
it's
up
and
running,
so
I
will
test
it
next
week
how
that
works.
This
catalog
is
kind
of
a
unified
integration
catalog
around
their
platform,
but
it's
also
cross-platform.
B
B
You
know
it's
a
registry,
so
I
don't
know
what's
what
what's
what's
included,
but
I'm
an
enterprise
and
it's
kind
of
an
interesting
development
that,
if
you
can,
if
you
can
manage
or
govern
different
integrations
in
one
place,
so
I'm
really
curious
what
what
they
they
are
saying
that
we
can
do
anything
and
of
course,
of
course
everybody
does
that,
but
I
will
do
a
proof
of
concept
in
the
next
couple
of
weeks.
So
maybe
I'm
getting
back
on
that.
C
That
would
be
awesome
yeah
I
mean,
and
that's
cool
of
you
that
that
you
tell
us,
because
I
I
honestly
had
no
idea
that
they
were
working
on.
I
think
support
for
racing
kpi
and
actually
that's
cool,
to
hear
yeah.
B
That's
cool
to
hear
yes
and
I
don't
know
how
that
the
rest
of
the
platform,
so
I
don't
know
how
they
are
the
rest
of
the
platform.
You
know
they
have
this
very
complex,
integra,
ips,
slash
hybrid
platform,
so
they
have
everything.
It's
an
old
company
so
with
a
lot
of
legacy,
but
this
unified
catalog
is
just
registry
interface.
It's
like,
if
you
know
oracle
enterprise
registry
is
similar
but
automated.
So
it
might
has
the
potential
potential
it
could
work.
I
mean
it
could
work.
It'll
work,
I'm
skeptical.
I've
seen
many
things
soon.
B
C
B
I
just
want
to
let
you
know,
because
I
think
it's
exciting
and
for
me
it's
it's
from
I'm
looking
from
an
architecture
perspective,
always
all
these
things,
so
we
have
swagger,
we
have
async
apis,
but
the
management
or
the
governance
of
these
things
is
kind
of
shaky
and
of
course
you
are
providing
also
some
kind
of
registry
or
working
on
something
and
also,
for
example,
the
kafka
guys
confluent,
also
working
on
some
kind
of
registry.
B
But
the
problem
with
these
things
are:
they
are
just
isolated
islands
of
the
of
the
enterprise
overview,
so
yeah,
it's
good
for
that
five
developers
who's
working
with
it,
but
if
you
have
1000
developers
or
5
000
developers,
then
that
is
just
not
working.
Yes,
so
that's
and
that's
that's!
I'm
I'm
looking
from
that
angle
that
how
this
collaboration
could
work.
So
so
I'm
very
pretty
excited
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
test
it
next
week
so
or.
C
So
that's
cool,
actually
the
the
cloud
events
folks,
I
think
they
were
working
on
together
on
the
api.
A
C
For
schema
registries
for
schema
registries
yeah
to
unify
the
schema
registries,
apis,
okay,
who
are
them
cloud
events,
but
let
me
just
try
to
find
here.
A
Although
I
think
it's
together
with
red
hat
because
red
hat
is
or
ibm.
A
A
Zoltan
you're
familiar
with
cloud
events
right
or
not,
really.
A
It's
a
spec
that
allows
you
to
like
put
your
schema
in
a
kind
of
envelope
and
it's
a
schema
for
defining
such
a
such
a
envelope
for
your
messages.
A
So
it's
a
project
from
cncf
foundation,
so
cloud
native
foundation
and
they
also
work
in
the
they
work
in
a
working
group
called
serverless
and
they
work
on
different
things
to
solve
different
problems.
A
And,
of
course
they
also
needed
a
kind
of
registry
and,
as
fran
said,
they
yeah,
they
work
on
a
unified
api
that
every
schema
registry
should
follow
yeah.
It
basically
means
that
probably
those
companies
that
work
on
it
like
vmware
or
microsoft,
or
red
hat.
They
will
probably
at
some
point
of
time,
think
about
delivering
such
a
registries.
B
B
C
Okay,
the
second
one
is
it's
about
the
schema
registry
proposal
and,
as
you
can
see
there,
it's
0.1
working
progress
so
so
you're
working
on
that
and
on
the
issues,
you'll
find
a
lot
of
issues,
starting
with
discovery
or
discovery.
B
C
Okay
and
I
think
they
are
kind
of
related-
maybe
I
don't
know
I
don't
think
so
I
don't
think
it's
the
same
thing.
I
think
one
is
for
service
discovery.
Maybe
and
the
other
one
is
for
schema
registry.
That's
perfect,.
B
But
anyway
interesting
things,
yes,
and-
and
yes,
I
and
I
hope
I
can
I
can-
I
can
commit
more
of
these
meetings.
We
have
here
and
then
listen
to
you
guys,
because
that's
also
something
I
really
would
like
to.
But
it
was
a
crazy
period
for
me
so
sorry
about
to
to
not
not
jumping
on
each
of
everyone,
but
I'm
trying
to
follow
the
topics
and
try
to
prioritize
a
little
bit.
It's
too
much.
B
And,
and
actually
this
this
autumn,
people
thinks
that,
because
there
is
this
or
nothing
so,
everybody
has
online
and
and
you
they
can
invite
you
everything.
So
I
I
get
I
mean
it's
worse
than
a
classical
console
a
classical
autumn
or
vid
with
conferences,
because
at
conferences
you
just
have
big
you
have
you
have
to
be
on
one
place?
Yes
physically,
but
now
you
can
be
five.
I
mean
all
the
meetups.
You.
B
B
C
Well,
I
guess
we're
all
learning
how
to
work
in
these
times
or
how,
to
you
know,
get
not
to
work
but
to
get
up
to
date
with
the
new
yeah
and
the
latest
stuff
right
yeah,
but
yeah.
B
C
B
And
and
also
that
the
contribution
part
yeah
so
so
I
really
want
to
to
look
into
this
essence.
Api
deeper.
But
you
know
it's
like
yeah,
you
go,
you
go
on
the
queue,
but
I
promise
I
will
here
be
here
because
that's
the
that's
the
future,
so
we
hope
so
and
we
think
so.
I.
B
Confluent
just
had
a
summit
partner
summit
or
whatever
they
called
it
yesterday,
and
they
were
totally
up
on
this,
even
driven
of
course.
Yes,
so
they
they
are
pushing
the
limits
of
even
driven,
but
they
are
also
kind
of
pragmatic
with
their
products.
So
that's
also,
I
like
that
they're,
not
saying
that
we
are
even
even
they're
just
covering
a
use
case
and
and
stuff
like
that.
B
D
B
Is
in
place,
I
think
from
gregor
hope
it's
like
it
was
they
just
celebrated.
I
don't
know
50
or
20
or
30
years
of
that
book.
So
I
don't
know
what
I
and
enterprise
integration
partners.
It
was
just
celebrated
right
now
I
don't
know
if
I
was
like
30
years
or
20
or
something
I
don't
know
yeah.
So
the
bottoms
are.
B
B
B
Back,
I
just
want
to
check
in
and
thank
you
for
your
time
taking
your
time
and
it's
a
great
pleasure
always
if
I
can
join
them
and
next
time
I'm
joining
on
time.
So
I
can
hear
the
news.
