A
F
D
I
Thank
you
a
long
time,
but
we
had
a
special
Ode
to
you
at
our
committee
meeting.
Yes,.
A
E
A
A
D
Each
year
we
go
out
for
our
various
Insurance
coverages,
among
which
are
the
for
property
damage,
protection
of
our
property
under
the
insuring
agreements
that
we
have
through
the
the
New
Jersey
Jeff
on
any
named
Windstorm.
That
would
be
an
event
like
superstorm,
Sandy
or
a
hurricane.
Anything,
that's
a
name
Windstorm.
Our
deductible
would
likely
be
in
the
range,
if
there's
any
substantial
damage
of
up
to
a
million
dollars
about
a
million
dollars
that
we
would
have
to
put
out
by
purchasing
this
buy
down
policy.
D
Our
deductible
would
be
limited
to
one
hundred
thousand
dollars
in.
In
the
event
of
that,
this
is
purchased
jointly
by
both
the
county
and
the
Atlantic
County
Utilities
Authority.
They
pay
a
similar
amount
one
year
they
were
paying
slightly
more
than
we
were
most
of
the
years.
It's
it's
in
Balance,
roughly
50
50..
D
It
really
makes
sense
because
we
just
never
know,
particularly
you
look
around,
and
you
see
all
these
storms
that
have
been
inundating
areas
of
the
the
Midwest
and
the
South
and
all
hate
to
say,
but
it's
only
a
matter
of
time.
One
of
these
days,
we
will
probably
get
hit
by
something
like
that
and
but
the
damage.
A
Can
be
sustained,
I
think
this
is
important
for
us
to
have
this
and
I
ask
you
to
give
due
consideration
and
improve
it.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Mr
Ferguson
I
thought
it
was
important
enough
that
you
know
the
public
be
made
aware
of
it
and
what
we're
doing
on
this
issue
a
second
any
other
discussion
on
resolution.
230.
B
A
E
A
I
think
I
would
like
to
say
is
a
big
thank
you
from
behalf
of
the
county
to
all
these
folks
that
volunteered
their
time
and
give
up
themselves
without
compensation
to
serve
in
these
various
boards.
It
is
appreciated
very
much
any
other
discussion.
A
J
K
Hi
everyone,
my
name-
is
landing
I'm
here
as
a
representative
I'm,
an
organizer
for
Applied
in
the
landing,
the
local
lgbtcc
organization
and
don't
sing
to
everyone
here,
we're
bringing
back
Atlanta
County
pride
in
the
park
this
year.
Last
year
we
I
know
we
had
a
few
of
you
would
show
up.
It
was
a
wonderful
event.
K
This
year
and
I
have
a
print
out
here.
That'll
pass
up
the
reward,
if
that's
already,
information
on
the
event,
so
Atlantic
County
pride
in
the
park
is
just
a
small
Hometown
lgbtq
five-month
celebration
last
year
was
our
first
year
doing
it.
K
It
was
a
bit
of
an
anxiety-inducing
sort
of
thing,
because
once
we
got
all
the
approvals
and
everything
together,
we
only
had
about
two
weeks
to
advertise
the
event,
but
even
with
that
short
amount
of
time,
we
ended
up
with
over
200
people
showing
up
at
the
event
we
were
thrilled
with
how
it
went,
and
this
year
we
decided
to
go
even
harder
than
we
did
last
year.
So
this
year
we're
making
a
figure.
K
We
have
vendors
who
are
able
to
sell
things
this
time
we're
going
to
have
food
trucks
at
the
event
we're
talking
about
possibly
doing
a
pining
contest.
Doing
a
talent
show
if
commissioner
corsi
wants
to
give
us
adults
and
tones
they're
going
to
be
commissioner
current.
If
you
have
a
comedy
routine
in
your
back
pocket,
I'm
sure
it'd
go
over
the
break
and
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
to
invite
all
the
members
of
the
county.
Commissioner.
G
K
To
the
event,
and
also
we
did
reserve
a
table
for
you
guys
all
of
our
tables
are
booked
except
we
did
Reserve
you
guys
if
you
would
like
to
have
a
table
to
offer
information
about
County,
Services
and
just
to
make
sure
it's
on
the
record.
This
event
is
going
to
be
June
3rd
from
11
A.M
to
3
P.M
at
Memorial
Park
in
Mays
Landing,
and
it
is
being
hosted
by
Pride
maze
landing
and
it
is
being
sponsored
by
the
Atlanta
County
council
of
education,
associations
and
you'll,
hear
this
here.
First.
K
J
I
And
and
his
partner
in
crime
Melissa
did
such
a
great
job
planning
that
for
the
first
time
last
year,
I
know
it's
a
big
bear
to
kind
of
plan,
something
for
the
first
time,
a
new
location
and
it
was
kind
of
like
a
rainy
day
a
little
bit
last
year.
But
it
didn't
rain
on
anybody's
parade.
H
I
It
was
a
great
event
and
I
do
think
we
should
put
out
information
there.
The
participants
were
very
interested
in
the
information
that
was
provided
by
a
lot
of
other
organizations,
so
maybe
we
could
even
have
like
the
hope,
one
or
something
out
there
as
well.
Oh
great,
okay,
wonderful,
so
I
just
want
to
Pat
you
in
the
back,
because
I
know
you
put
a
lot
of
Art
and
Soul
into
planning
that
and
you're
doing
a
great
job,
so
I
think
it's
really
great
event.
Thank
you.
So
much.
A
Like
to
speak
on
any
topic,
if
not
we'll
close
the
public
portion,
we
have
a
an
executive
session
resolution.
G
G
A
G
A
L
You
chairman,
there
was
a
meeting
recently
of
the
solid
waste
advisory
committee.
The
swac
committee
met
recently
at
that
meeting.
Former
commissioner
Alex
Marino
was
elected,
chair
okay
of
the
solid
race
board,
so
we
also
had
a
presentation
that
evening
from
Mr
Dobby
and
the
acua
on
their
plants
and
where
they're
at
now,
with
the
changes
that
are
happening
in
the
trash
flow
and-
and
they
have
some
interesting
interesting
plans
on
how
they're
proceeding
that
might
be
an
opportunity
in
the
future.
L
Maybe
if
the
board
so
seize
fit,
they
may
be
invite
in
there
and
go
over
that
again
with
us.
I
believe
he's
going
around.
It's
all
the
meetings,
the
mayor's
Associated
hitting
everybody
with
what
their
thoughts
are
in
the
bid
process
and
how
they're
doing
for
trash
some
of
the
locations
they're.
Looking
at
the
different
facilities
around
the
country,
they
get
some
ideas.
A
couple
of
them.
L
I
was
familiar
with
and
I
I
know
they're
the
right
ones
to
be
looking
at
so
they're
they're
moving
forward
aggressively
as
they
should
to
see
where
a
trash
is
going
to
go
in
the
future.
So
I
just
wanted
to
point
that
out
for
you
guys
today.
Thank
you.
Do
you
recall
the
date
for
the
events
now
the
big
they
had?
They
broke
the
bids
out
in
a
few
different
ways,
based
on
some
of
the
information
they've
received
last
time.
L
Some
of
it
was
for
instead
of
a
five-year
period,
they
showed
the
term
lens,
because
a
lot
of
guys,
you
ask
somebody
for
a
five-year
commitment
for
transportation,
of
anything,
how
you're
going
to
estimate
fuel
costs
and,
and
all
that
over
that,
so
they
they
took
the
information,
the
feedback.
They
got
back
from
some
of
the
contractors
that
they've
been
on
and
made
some
adjustments
and
as
they
present
this
now
the
new
bid
process
they
have
them
broken
out
and
with
different
criteria.
It
makes
it
a
little
bit
easier.
I
Mr
chairman,
so
with
the
budget
committee,
we
got
a
special
presentation
from
Doug
De
Mayo
with
regard
to
the
Portland
Public
Bridge.
I
I
think
we
were
going
to
have
him
just
kind
of
go
over
that
for
the
commissioner's
information
sake
and
Publix
information
on
what's
happening
there.
So
that's
fine.
C
These
two
engines
were
straightforward
to
the
safety
concerns
the
aerial
that
I
provided,
shows
you
what
existed
in
2017
and
for
many
years
prior
to
that
we've
had
multiple
accidents
on
that
bridge,
where
people
have
driven
up
the
wrong
way
on
that
50
word
extension
portion
that
goes
from
basically
Riverside
Drive,
it's
to
the
bridge
and
some
of
those
accidents
have
been
very
severe.
So
we
had
our
traffic
bads
look
at
ways
of
trying
to
eliminate
that
type
of
accident,
but
there's
also
concerns
with.
C
When
cars
come
off
the
bridge
they
come
out
of
it.
You
know
down
there
at
high
speed
and
cars
at
the
stop
sign
at
Riverside.
Drive
might
not
have
good
visibility
to
see
that
as
far
as
it
may
flew
out
in
front
of
them.
So
basically
the
plan
that
we
have
provided
shows
the
changes
that
we're
making
actually
into
that
last
August.
We
had
a
line
that
that
was
a
little
more
in
line
with
Riverside
Drive.
C
You
might
see
that
outline
with
the
blue
on
that
plan
that
I
shared,
provided.
We
recently
made
some
edits
to
the
plan
to
adjust
how
Riverside
Drive
comes
into
Old
New
York
Brewery.
That
way
it
comes
in
a
90
degree
angle,
which
helps
us
with
Trump.
Turning
to
this,
we
ran.
We
made
sure
that
it
would
handle
fire
trucks,
school
buses,
a
vehicle
called
an
su-30
which
is
basically
like
your
clients,
the
more
furniture
delivery,
type
stuff
and
then
finally,
a
wb40
which
is
a
small
tractor
Trail.
C
The
snow
alignment
takes
care
of
all
that,
and
obviously
you
know
since
we're
cutting
off
the
road
there.
We
won't
get
that
accident
in
that
direction.
C
Like
I
said,
those
accidents
were
pretty
severe,
especially
the
one
back
in
2012,
not
sure
how
that
person
lived,
but
they
did
live
through
it.
The
old
bridge
actually
had
a
lot
more
give
to
it
than
the
Swede
Bridge
would
so
likely
that
type
of
accident
happened
get
them.
It
would
be
paid,
certainly
severe.
C
There
was
also
a
lot
of
concerns
brought
up
to
wearing
our
design
phase
about
speeding,
and
this
Hawaiian
can
actually
call
it.
The
speed
as
well,
it's
going
down
the
traffic
because
it
had
the
meat.
Sometimes
they
have
come
to
stop
signs.
C
We
have
heard
some
push
back
on
the
the
design.
F
C
The
sleeve
one
of
the
concerns
that
was
brought
up
to
us
by
the
town
and
a
lot
of
people
that
are
coming
over
the
bridge
from
Fort
Republic
are
headed
down
to
New
York.
C
Obviously,
the
alignment
is
foreign,
that's
how
it's
always
been
so
I
guess.
One
of
the
concerns
is
people,
don't
necessarily
like
change,
and
they
don't
really.
You
want
to
have
to
make
the
basically
the
double
tournament,
basically
making
it
right
so
immediately.
Making
food
but,
like
I,
said
this.
This
we're
doing
this
strictly
for
safety,
and
this
is
the
safest
configuration
that
we
can
do
it
right.
F
So,
thank
you,
as
you
I'm
sure,
you're
aware
and
I've
reset
the
jury
for
a
couple
different
questions
from
these
I.
Don't
know.
If
there's
is
there,
a
consensus
is,
as
the
town's
been
briefed
on
this
I
know,
but
yeah
is.
Is
there.
C
Know
summer
favor
some
are
against
it.
So
I
just
know
what
you
know
since
we've
provided
the
revised
we
demand,
we
originally
showed
them.
What
was
it
blue
outlined
in
blue,
which
is
important
at
that
angle?
And
then,
when
we
last
week
we
shared
on
the
revised
one.
That
would
definitely
take
care
of
their
concerns
with
all
the
different
trucks,
and
you
know,
like
I,
said
it's
more
of
a
90
degrees.
Okay,
so.
F
I
mean
this
is
what's
what
the
County's
going
ahead
with
there.
Okay,
so
I
mean
I've
heard
from
both.
You
know
sides
on
this
okay,
so
this
is
where
the
county
is
headed.
And
what
will
this?
Obviously?
So?
What's
the
the
time
frame
now,
because
I
I
also
reached
out
to
Jerry
about
the
the
organizer
of
the
Jersey
Genesis
Triathlon
about
access
here
and
a
Jerry's
last
recommendation
was,
you
know
just
tell
them
to
go
to
you
know
the
previous
year's
rounds,
because
this
isn't
going
to
be
ready
yet
so.
C
Yeah
this,
this
is
definitely
holding
it
up.
Okay,
so
they
will
have
to.
Our
consultant
will
have
to
be
from
more
detailed
plans
than
concept
that
they
came
up
with
okay,
so
that
the
contractor
can
build
it
all
right,
then,
over
the
exact
time
frame.
D
You're
dug
on
my
this
looks
a
very
good
plan,
especially
for
safety
reasons
right
you're.
Looking
at
guide
railing
that
area
I
mean
people
are
going
to
be
so
used
to
that
that
turn
off.
C
C
D
C
C
Open
space,
it
will
be
open
space.
Basically,
we
have
had
discussions
with
the
pound.
C
C
They
were
participant
talks
about
something
a
little
recently
but
elaborate.
They
actually
actually
saved
the
gear
pivot
gear
for
the
old
swing
span,
bridge
and
there's
talks
about
you
know
incorporating
that
there's
also.
We
also
say
to
allow
this
thing
from
the
Departments
that
can
be
reused
as
well.
Some.
L
C
K
G
J
Mr
chairman,
yes,
so
I
kind
of
can
relate
to
some
of
what
you
talk
about
this
bridge.
It's
my
short
stay
in
public
works
and
briefly
one
of
my
nightmares
in
the
middle
of
the
night
terrible
test.
One
young
lady
went
through
this
and
drunk
she
lucky
made
me
talk
about
the
same
person.
We
don't
know
how
she
lived,
but
she
lived.
Bridge
has
always
been
raggedy,
don't
be
safe
to
go
out
there
and
do
a
number
of
repairs
to
that
bridge.
J
But,
like
you
said
when
we
took
the
big
wheel
out
from
around
the
Port
Republic
resident,
they
complained
about
that.
They
wanted
historic
left
somewhere.
It's
damn
if
you're
doing
damn,
if
you
don't,
but
you
can't
put
a
price
on
safety
right
and.
J
To
take
into
consideration
safety
comes
first
in
spite
of
what
we
might
think,
whether
your
house
is
close
to
it
or
not.
County
Road
we're
responsible
right,
so
we've
got
to
do
what's
right
and
it's
always
going
to
be
safety
and
any
Improvement
in
that
area.
Now
is
better
than
what
they
had
and
that
bridge
stayed
closed
for
a
long
time
after
the
one
major
accident
and
then
never
forget.
We
seen
the
tractor
trailer
go
across
there.
They
never
should
have
gone
across
that
bridge.
J
Look
at
Bridge
didn't
collapse,
but
the
bridge
is
open.
We
know
it,
but
over
the
years
the
County's
been
able
to
maintain
it,
but
the
time
has
come
and
I.
Think
everybody's
gonna
be
happy
at
that
point,
whether
you
go
down
old,
New,
York
Road
or
you
go
down
Pitney
Road.
Let's
keep
the
Mindless
safety
for
yourself
after
the
test
of
some
of
those
accidents
out
there.
Well,
we've
gotten
called
out
in
the
middle
of
the
night
to
put
barricades
up
or
whatever
the
case
may
be.
J
It
was
an
interesting
time
working
for
the
county
too
sure
it
was
yes.
I
can
relate
good.
A
Any
other
special
importance,
training.

A
Thank
you.
Many
of
the
Canadian
books
I
have
one
briefly
just
to
keep
the
board
update
the
sound
charge,
Economic
Development
District,
which
I
chair
we
are
currently
reviewing
resumes.
As
you
mentioned
before,
our
executive
director,
Lou
Joyce,
has
decided
to
retire
after
a
number
of
years
of
service.
A
We
are
currently
reviewing
resumes
right
now
and
hopefully
we'll
be
hiring
a
new
economic
director
for
that
that
entity
and
our
office
we
have
a
small
office.
The
SGA
EDD
has
a
very
tiny
office
which
we
share
with
the
sjtpo
and
the
SJ
tpos
South
charity,
Transportation
Planning
organization,
they're,
moving
they're
looking
for
bigger
quarters,
so
we'll
be
moving
as
well.
A
Apparently
so
I'll
keep
you
appraised
as
to
that
process,
but
we're
doing
very
well
on
the
sjedd
and
the
sjtpo
is
doing
great,
but
the
sjtpo
is
at
the
point
where
they
need
more
space.
You
know
simply
outgrown
their
the
rental
property
they're.
Currently,
in
anyone
else,
buying
committees,
reports,
okay,
any
unfinished
business.
H
Don't
know
Karen
I
just
want
to
make
note
that
landcape
Community
College
just
announced
that
they
have
a
new
RN
to
BSN
collaborative
core
program
made
possible
through
their
partnership
with
the
University
of
Phoenix.
This
program
will
allow
our
nursing
students
to
earn
credit
toward
a
Bachelor
of
Science
in
nursing
during
their
Journey
here,
which
means
they
don't
have
to
leave
Atlantic
or
Cape
May
counties
to
advance
their
college
careers.
So
that
is
very
exciting
news,
because
we've
talked
about
that
many
times.
A
You
anything
else
under
new
goodness,
I'd
like
to
mention
something
that
was
in
today's
paper
and
I'm,
going
to
read
it
because
I
think
we
we
know.
We
know
this,
but
it's
good
to
remind
ourselves
and
how
fortunate
we
are
of
having
so
many
bombs
here
at
fire
companies
in
in
the
county.
We're
really
fortunate
in
Egg
Harbor
Township,
where
I
live.
We
have
five
Volunteer
Fire
companies
and
they
are
totally
volunteer.
They
received
zero
compensation.
A
This
article
was
in
today's
press
sounding
the
alarm
is
ahead
of
the
article
I'm
just
going
to
read
a
couple
sentences
here.
More
than
80
percent
of
the
nation's
fire
departments
are
made
up
entirely
or
mostly
of
volunteers.
According
to
the
National
Fire
Protection
Association
volunteers
comprise
65
percent
of
the
U.S
firefighters
overall,
but
participation
had
has
dwindled
from
nearly
nine
hundred
thousand
Volunteers
in
1984
to
a
low
of
677
thousand.
A
A
H
I
just
want
to
make
mention
and
congratulate
Summers
Point
concerts
on
the
beach.
They
are
been
nationally
recognized
as
the
best
outdoor
concert
series
in
America
by
USA
Today.
So
it's
a
specially
rewarding
as
it
comes
on
the
30th
anniversary
of
the
series
founded
by
Nicholas
Regine,
who
was
then
the
director
of
recreation
in
Somers
Point.
So
that's.
A
Great
yeah,
that's
great
news
and
with
that
I
heard
a
snippet
on
the
radio,
yeah
I
didn't
get
the
whole
story,
but
I
believe
acit
was
around
the
number
one
high
school
in
the
county.
A
That's
quite
something
too
so
I'm
sure
that'll
be
reported
as
well
anything
else
on
new
business,
a
written
Communications
or
petitions
hearing
now
we're
going
to
open
the
major
problem.
D
A
Online,
you
know,
if
not,
then
our
next
thing
to
move
into
is
to
adopt
I
guess
for
resolution
240
and
then
go
into
an
executive
session
at
which
times
and
the
amount
of
executive
session
and
by
law
we'll
open
the
meeting
again
to
the
public
for
any
comments
at
the
end
of
the
meeting.
A
So
at
this
point,
would
you
please
read
number
240.
E
A
Moved
by
Commissioner,
of
course,
she's
second
with
commissioner
Ghana
any
discussion
hearing,
none
okay,
where
we
will
enter
into
an
executive
session
I'll
make
a
motion
to
come
out
thanks.
Second
recession
motion
made
to
come
out
of
executive
section
from
Newton's
seconded
all
in
favor,
say:
aye
closed
motion
carries
were
out
of
executive
session.
We
had
an
executive
session
with
no
action
was
taken.
