A
A
There
are
too
many
notable
folks
in
the
room
to
mention,
but
one
especially
welcome
folks
from
the
county
that
are
here,
I've
seen
some
freeholders
real,
the
Directorate
someone
can
concede
Oh
Control
Commission,
sir.
We
have
many
mayors,
the
lady
County
approval,
Authority
and,
of
course
many
of
you
are
members
of
default.
You
remember
the
chamber
on
the
chamber
board
so
again.
Thank
you
very
much.
Without
further
ado,
you
should
have
at
your
at
your
table
that
we're
got
on
the
registration
table
when
you
take.
A
B
A
Son
among
those
responsibilities,
it's
important
to
note,
Karen's
engagement,
involvement
and
actually
being
one
that
started
at
William
J
new
policy
center
at
University,
which
I
think
we
would
all
agree
is
a
stellar
stellar,
institutional
research
and
public
policy
organization.
So
without
further
ado,
I'd
like
to
bring
up
gerald.
B
So
much
to
you
all
today,
I
just
want
to
make
set
a
tone
for
dinner
this
morning.
Visit
data,
look
forward
to
all
attendees
and
how
it
all
I'm
going
to
get
there.
Let's
focus
on
opportunities
where
we're
going
and
the
pans
needed
to
get
us
there,
it's
okay,
to
acknowledge
that
there
are
bumps
in
the
road
that
we
need
to
go
over
and
around.
We
just
can't
let
them
be
harriers
to
entry.
So
let
me
start
off.
B
B
For
reading
the
network
effects
morning,
let
me
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
stopping
and
pig
that
to
what
we
do
for
economic
development,
and
then
you
can
envision
what
an
additional
campus
residential
campus
can
do
for
us.
So
let's
talk
about
the
fact
that
we
have
almost
9,000
students
subsonic
over
2800
to
them
come
from
medina
county.
We
have
nearly
1400
atlantic
county
residents
who
are
employed,
gross
wages
and
job
to
be
included
are
afraid
of
opinion,
not
nearly
one-quarter
of
our
forty
eight
thousand
alumni
live
here.
Why
should
you
care.
B
Pretty
simply
to
protect
spending,
power
and
we'd
stop
they
need
to
buy,
to
support
their
functions
of
students,
faculty
and
said,
and
bedding
is
turn
spend
and
invest
and
take
taxes.
So
stocking
can
very
well
be.
It
does
drive
a
lot
of
the
economy
in
the
area.
So
now
we're
going
to
stand
in
the
light
exhibit
with
a
residential
campus,
and
this
is
going
to
exponentially
power.
B
Sure
we'll
take
a
couple
of
years,
but
if
we
race
round
it
later
this
spring,
that
spending
is
going
to
start
right
about
then,
and
it
will
create
entrepreneurial
and
employment
opportunities
along
the
way
and
around
atlantic
city
we're
not
going
to
say
Atlantic
City.
We
are
going
to
be
a
part
of
the
Renaissance
and
health
fields
and
educated
workforce
and
similarly
the
economy.
A
B
The
next
couple
of
hours
we're
going
to
hear
what
several
of
our
games
acknowledges:
you're
doing
any
bumps
in
the
road
babe
and
encountering,
but
right
now,
where
we
make
thin
with
Anna,
flanked
on
the
Economic
Development
Alliance
update
and
its
progress.
Howard
kyle
is
chief
of
staff
to
the
atlantic
county
executive
and
the
clemson.
Now
suppose
you
stand
up
here
and
read
his
bio
and
challenging
all
of
these
great
in
nineteen
thirty
seconds,
and
then
you
can
come
talk.
B
E
All
right,
everybody
here
is
where
I
start
the
whole
do
know
me,
and
can
we
discuss
position
of
various
forms?
24,
a
good
boy
came
up.
My
good
friend,
Max
Fleischer
gave
me
some
advice.
He
said
I
pendant
talk
to
quickly,
which
I
do
is
every
time
I
get
an
important
point
to
pause.
The
three
seconds
I've
ever
had
an
hour
to
this
presentation
cut
through
this
Lake
County
Economic
Development
Alliance,
those
unexpected
non-stop,
incorporation
of
a
storm
like
speech
date
with
a
I
guess
what
an
ending
the
beginning.
E
E
The
way
some
people
approaching
on
the
development
and
by
the
way,
we're
changing
from
that
format
great,
we
tend
to
think
or
there's
a
tendency
to
thing
that
we
go
back
and
do
something
we
did
in
the
past
that
somehow
it's
the
rat
you
magically
transform
the
area,
for
example,
build
a
bigger
purpose:
mule
affordable,
bring
back,
miss
america
put
in
our
parties,
all
you
think
of
some
kind
of
a
come
together
and
atlantic
city
later
county
is
going
to
drive,
not
going
to
work
that
way.
What
we
need
to
do.
E
What
we
are
doing
is
we're
doing
change,
how
we
eat
enough
to
go
change,
how
we
see
it
and
how
we
manage
always
doing
things,
as
was
pointed
out
by
our
consultant.
Traditionally,
the
area
has
had
top-down
economics,
economic
results,
not
only
atlantic
county,
but
the
state
has
good
network
throughout
the
state.
The
state
dominates
economic
development
policies,
hey
we're.
Try
now
be
a
local
leadership,
bottom-up
economic
development,
no
guys
economic
development
strategies,
nothing's
would
ever
get
a
document
that
says
we
went,
transform
the
reason
region
or
having
one
to
shape
the
region.
E
Now
we
have
a
comprehensive
economic
development
strategy
done
right,
no
single
point
of
any,
but
business
wanted
to
do
something
here
in
Atlantic
County
there
was
no
one
place
to
go.
There
go
maybe
to
see
where
das
goethe,
eighth
of
local
municipality,
whatever
there's
no
single
point
of
asians
now
to
the
economic
development
corporation.
Where
we'll
be,
there
was
no
active
business
attention
retraction
of
giving
retention,
attraction
and
marketing
program
in
place
for
going
to
be
putting
one
in
place
right
over
focus
on
one
industry
sector
and
one
area.
E
Now
we're
going
to
have
an
emphasis
on
economic
diversity
and
regional
economic
development
right
approach.
Different
approach
is
different.
Overall
guiding
philosophy,
old
approach,
works,
pixelated
city,
you'll,
fix
lake
county,
the
new
approaches,
pixelated
county,
all
municipalities
working
together
and
then
find
us
will
be
fixing
the
laxity.
Also
state
government
knows
best.
We
know
best
people
to
screw
people
in
business
here,
the
chamber
of
Congress.
We
know
best.
Okay,
we
can
work
the
partnership.
We
see
the
old
idea,
let
the
stage
vixen
they're
going
to
take
care
of
different
one.
E
The
convention
center
they're
going
to
run
the
airport.
They
can
run
the
expressway,
there's
everybody
ganado
devoted
to
the
ciba.
Now
we
will
fix
it
in
cooperation
with
state
governments.
The
old
way
pest,
we
just
add
back.
The
new
way
is
active.
We're
going
to
be
involved,
wait.
Why
is
critical
to
have
originally
get
on
the
development?
If.
E
E
You
consult
Angeles,
we
came
down
and
his
final
report
I'm
sure
all
your
credit
and
you
haven't.
You
should
made
this
observation.
The
sense
of
the
dominance
of
gaming
towards
romantic
county,
to
the
detriment
of
all
other
industry
clusters,
is
uncommon
and
should
be
regarded
as
a
serious
long-term
threat
to
the
economic
prosperity
turn
on
spots
are
headed
I'm
going
to
follow
an
accident
right.
Let's
stop
at
three
seconds
to
fridge
right.
That's
important!
That
is
for
t,
recognize
that
you
can't
have
digital
I
for
one
injury
and
recently
estimated
Sunday.
E
He
can
pull
up
even
quieter.
Dr.
Oliver
cook,
right
to
south
jerz
economic
review
for
soccer.
He
started
to
say
for
the
regional
economy
to
improve,
improve
a
new
industry
or
not
to
take
hold
leveraging.
The
beach
isn't
necessarily
best.
Let's
drop
down
on
this
little
bit.
A
lantic
City
is
important.
All
right
atlantic
city
is
important
to
atlantic
county
pour
into
the
workflow
bank
account
the
tourism
can't
be
the
be-all
and
end-all.
E
Let's
look
at
this
in
context
when
I
was
up
and
tried
two
weeks
ago,
part
of
the
test
wave
added,
North,
Jersey,
casino
speaking
to
a
couple
state
senators,
they
were
arguing
for
it.
They're
saying
to
me:
you
don't
understand,
but
we
get
this
one
Jersey
casino.
We
will
be
sending
two
hundred
million
dollars
a
year
down
to
Atlantic
City
right
and
latex.
They
will
then
be
a
world-class
destination,
don't
feel
like
Las,
Vegas
and
New
Orleans.
Let's
look
at
that
walks.
E
Babies
is
135
square
miles
at
six
hundred
thousand
six
hundred
thirteen
thousand
people
you
warmly
159
square
mile
384,000
population,
Nashville
Tennessee
is
quoting
tourist
destination
for
275
square
miles
per
week
without
population
you
can
see
the
rest
of
the
number
that
will
go
through
the
ball.
You
come
down
to
Atlantic
City,
10.75
square
minus
thirty-nine
thousand
four
to
15
people
number
two,
the
year,
the
size
and
the
area
of
those
other
communities
right.
E
You
come
down
to
three
point:
five
square
miles
of
developable
everything:
Atlantic
City,
two
hundred
million
dollars
a
year
coming
into
laxity.
What
can
you
do?
Well,
lengthy
alone?
What
can
you
do
on
3.5
miles
of
land?
That's
going
to
have
an
impact
in
a
550
square
mile,
County,
there's
not
much
you're
going
to
do.
You've
got
to
break
out
of
that
self-imposed
box
right.
E
This
is
the
developing
areas
right,
America,
much
more
opportunity
to
do
things,
the
broader
sense
right
now
we
are
facing
challenges
in
Canada's.
No
doubt
about
it.
You
know
that
as
well
as
I
do
record
levels
of
home
foreclosure
record
levels
of
unemployment,
people
leaving
the
area
a
sense
of
pessimism,
toes
to
my
optimism
and
the
optimism
I
know
thought
of
you
pat
right,
so
the
point
I
keep
stressing.
We
are
not
the
only
area
to
ever
have
these
type
of
challenges.
People
are
numerous
other
cities,
it
just
view
kind
of
Pittsburgh.
E
The
great
example
Pittsburgh
in
the
1970s
early
1980s
would
go.
Nowhere
is
losing
tacos.
Every
problem
we
have
they
had
their
major
industry
was
declining.
The
software
Pittsburgh
today
is
thriving
at
the
center
for
education,
medicine
and
technology.
If
people
in
Pittsburgh
tended
to
think
the
leg
estate
things
here,
they
would
be
saying
nothing
but
happening
different
and
they
would
be
saying:
we've
got
to
make
Pittsburgh
the
steel
producing
capital
of
the
world
right
again.
Now
we
gotta
move
into
different
areas
with
different
opportunities.
E
Lantic
magazine,
just
this
month,
was
sent
to
me
by
Rick.
Billy
brought
this
to
my
attention:
great
article
about
cities
throughout
the
country
that
are
making
change
that
overcoming
some
sort
of
economic
diversity.
Three
minute
video
I'm
going
to
be
quiet
and
run
to
a
three
minute,
video
which
hopefully
technology
works.
The
start
website.
C
F
F
So
we're
standing
right
now,
right
in
front
of
the
Lowndes
County
Courthouse
and
behind
us
is
fifth
street,
which
is
one
of
the
axes
of
downtown
in
Columbus.
Mississippi
are
being
where
it
causes.
Main
Street
we've
been
looking
for
places
that
have
some
real
problems
and
also
are
finding
some
way
to
deal
with
them.
C
G
Early
2000s,
we
started
to
see
a
lot
of
our
manufacturing
jobs
go
overseas.
People
were
very
depressed
because
we
lost
so
many
jobs
around
that
time,
not
just
us,
but
the
surrounding
counties.
This
facility,
at
the
time
it
closed,
was
called
American
trouser.
In
1991
there
were
414
employees
and
when
they
closed,
they
had
30
employees.
F
Manufacturing
in
the
area
had
all
but
disappeared.
Until
recently,
a
new
wave
of
businesses
decided
to
relocate
here
now.
Brenda
lathan
helps
lead
the
Golden
Triangle
development
link,
the
organization
at
the
heart
of
Columbus's
recovery.
She
worked
side
by
side
with
Joe
max
Higgins
CEO
of
the
link.
Here's.
H
The
history
behind
this,
the
former
mayor
of
West
Point,
Kenny,
deal.
He
was
mayor
for
32
years,
believed
in
regionalism
before
anybody
else
believed
in
regionalism,
and
he
was
the
catalyst
for
getting
some
of
the
things
done
in
this
area
and
within
the
last
four
or
five
years
we
started
putting
the
Golden
Triangle
together.
So
now
we
work
for
the
entire
Golden
Triangle,
the.
C
H
The
link
was
formed,
I
think
one
or
two
legitimate
prospects
a
year.
I
would
come
in
and
look
once
we
started
doing
the
link.
It
went
on
steroids
that
wasn't
uncommon
for
us
to
have
two
three,
sometimes
four
prospects.
In
a
week.
In
a
period
of
about
12
years,
we've
just
shot
5
billion
dollars
of
investment.
That
just
doesn't
typically
happen
in
places
this
model
in
this
rural
in
the
south,
steel.
F
D
E
Is
just
one
of
several
cities?
That's
highlighted
in
that
Arsenal,
so
the
emphasis
I'm
making
is
that
we
are
not
alone
in
having
these
challenges.
We
are
just
as
capable
more
capable
than
columbus,
mississippi
of
organizing
grouping
together
and
advancing
a
new,
more
promising
directions.
It's
not
that
we're
thinking
of
doing
it.
We
are
doing
it
right,
it's
underway.
We
are
ahead
of
the
game
right
now,
all
right,
we've
already
established
and
Economic
Development
Corporation,
similar
to
the
link,
the
savage
of
the
501c3
as
harmful
rays,
$500,000
five-year
funding,
commitment,
which
we
thank
Jason.
E
You
wait
for.
We
also
have
space
negotiating
and
finalizing
a
house.
Altegris
survived
courtesy
of
the
Hamilton
walk
finalizing.
Our
body
walk
shortly,
begin
very
shortly
begin
a
search
for
a
the
executive
director,
a
mission
statement
to
drive
he's
not
a
growth
Atlantic
County
to
Topeka
planning
and
public
private
partnerships,
attract,
retain
and
support
diversity
of
businesses
industries
and
creates
quality
jobs
and
lower
property
fashion
missions,
focus
job
creation
number
one
priority.
E
This
is
an
industry
retention,
apres
la
regional,
economic
development,
private
sector
leadership,
very
important
God
come
as
a
private
sector
can
come
over
public
sector.
It's
got
to
be
politically
independent.
It
can't
be
beholden
to
a
politician
to
need
to
be
financially
independent
and
it
needs
to
be
open,
transparent
and
inclusive,
which
means
that
we
have
to
know
how
to
make
these
decisions,
and
we
have
to
feel
whatever
saying
how
it's
making
the
decisions
right.
Why
are
you
can
on
some
of
the
lines
necessary,
as
I
mentioned
before?
E
No
organization
has
primary
mission
to
comprehensive,
coordinated
regional
economic,
develop
its
not
done
right
now,
the
existing
efforts
are
parochial
and
uncoordinated
and
they're,
not
hiding
any
regional
goal.
Atlantic
county
area
is
at
a
strong
disadvantage
that
we're
competing
with
areas
that
cabinet
to
be
like
this
right
and
when
we
create
this
and
we
get
it
up
and
running
we're
setting
is
here
the
clear
message
to
business.
We
are
serious
about
economic
development.
E
E
That
but
the
problem
is
it's
not
tied
into
Norwegian.
Someone
comes
into
some
is
quite
possibly
looking
at
it
doesn't
fit
on
the
point
generally,
they
make
us
leave
the
area
they're
not
refer
to
tighten
to
another
area
where
they
might
fit
in
all
right.
We
need
a
coordinate
and
cooperate
and
alters
the
Economic.
Development
Alliance
will
not
do
Rick's
&
Order
projects;
in
other
words,
it
involves
the
construction
or
something
like
AC
delco
does
or
crda
does.
They
will
remain
with
that
agency.
Welcome
home
to
the
thought.
E
Hbu,
honest
final
budget
will
be
decided
by
the
board.
Fish
investor
fees
and
business
contributions
will
be
some
additional
public
funding
as
an
invention.
We
already
have
that
place
and
it's
intense
becoming
self-sufficient
within
five
years.
Are
we
safe
final?
Full
staffing
needs
will
be
better
by
the
board,
but
all
the
hiring.
This
is
something
that's
got
to
assisting.
You
have
got
to
make
sure
it
happens.
This
way
to
all
the
hiring
I've
got
to
be
done
in
an
open
matter
seeking
the
best
qualified
people
right.
E
We
can't
have
already
already
people
are
calling
up
x.
8
I
want
to
be
the
executive
director.
This
we've
got
to
ensure
the
people
who
run
this
operation
are
capable
qualified
and
free
making
dependencies.
We
are
going
to
begin
a
nationwide
search
for
qualified
to
Glenda's
director
I
want
to
stress
something
when
we
say
we're
hiring
an
executive
director
for
a
nationwide
search.
We
are
not
looking
for
some
genius
who's
going
to
come
in,
have
all
the
answers
to
solve
our
problem,
so
we
can
sit
back
and
relax.
E
We
are
looking
for
an
experienced
economic
development
professional
who
has
the
ideas
ending
background
to
guide
us
to
achieving
the
goals
and
records
that
we
said
all
right.
What
will
be
another
bullying?
He
gave
you
an
operation.
Well,
if
we
offer
you
our
energy,
you
already
have
a
plan.
The
plan
is
done
by
Angela.
Economics
is
presented
at
a
chamber
event
back
in
December.
You've
identified
my
client
of
industries,
we
know
for
them.
E
The
top
11
that
is
agreed
offers
the
most
immediate
opportunities
and
the
most
promise
is
the
aviation
sector
and
that's
another
subject
for
another
day.
But
major
advances
are
going
to
need
that
area
and
you
saw
yesterday
the
financing
for
that.
It's
getting
locked
in
so
we're
ready
to
go
back
before
you
have
white
wine
and
we'll
help
you
off
its
base
and
reporters
in
place.
E
Can
you
talk
about
that
for
sake
of
time,
I'm
three
months
pregnant
where
you
are
I
interim
board,
chairman
Leo,
chauffeur,
wa,
treasurer
Joe
NP
by
the
street
special
intezar
secretary
and
other
matters
elicit?
You
are
capably
represented
on
this
agency
by
consumer
from
the
chamber
board.
The
chamber
has
been
extremely
supportive.
Employment
is
my
total
success
of
this
effort
and
I
think
joe
I
think
the
chamber
for
that
weekend.
We
could
not
have
gotten
as
far
as
we
had
without
change
of
support
and
before
to
continue
working
with
the
chamber
in
the
future.
