From YouTube: AC welcomes Esports press conference 3.27.19
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Good
morning,
everyone,
my
name,
is
Larry
Singh,
director
of
communications
and
marketing,
I,
think
a
senior
investment
Development
Authority
and
the
only
new
city
tourism
district.
Welcome
you
to
Jim
well
and
more
Valhalla
this
morning
for
this
great
announcement.
We
have
quite
a
few
speakers
to
get
through
some
great
information.
That's
going
to
be
coming
out.
So
without
further
ado,
I'd
like
to
introduce
you
first
to
the
CEO
and
general
manager
of
collegiate
star
League
and
world
gaming
Network
mr.
Wynn
stocks.
B
B
The
big
announcement
this
morning
lead
to
star
Lee
I.
Hopefully
I'll
give
you
some
more
background
on
who
we
are
and
what
we
do,
but
certainly
the
largest
esports
organizer
related
links
and
events
in
North
America.
We
are
bringing
our
grand
finals
essentially
our
final
floor
to
the
historic
Boardwalk
Hall
I
stepped
for
my
very
first
time
on
the
boardwalk
I
got
emotional,
is
so
much
lore
and
myth
and
and
scale
to
that
boardwalk.
It
was
really
cool
to
to
actually
experience
it
firsthand
and
and
see
it
live.
So
that's
a
big
call
to
action.
B
We're
going
to
incorporate
now
when
we
get
our
event
officially
announced
and
kicked
off
completely.
Certainly
if
you're
not
aware,
we
are,
as
I
mentioned,
we're
the
largest
organizer
of
tournaments
and
leagues
on
college
campuses
throughout
North
America,
we're
on
1600
different
schools,
universities
and
campuses.
We
run
13
different
leads.
If
you're
familiar
all
of
these
sports,
no
different
than
the
NCAA
runs
a
football
league,
they
run
a
basketball
league,
they
run
a
baseball
league.
We
run
leagues
around
the
key
games,
League
of
Legends
Counter
Strike
dota2,
NBA,
2k,
Street,
Fighter
vainglory.
B
A
number
of
Fortnight
apex
legends
of
rather
relatively
new
game
on
the
scene,
but
we
are
all
about
Morgan,
organizing
leagues
events
on
campus
activations.
For
for
these,
various
leagues
of
the
13
leads
that
we
that
we
run
and
operate.
We
have
52
thousand
over
52,000
students
involved
student,
oh
well,
and
I
will
say
they
are
student
athletes.
B
When,
when
we
at
the
end
of
our
year,
when
we
do
our
grand
finals,
we
will
prize
out
the
winning
players,
the
winning
teams,
we
prize
out
as
scholarships
to
keep
the
ecosystem
intact
and
to
reinvest
in
the
in
the
space
and
eSports
base
at
the
collegiate
level
and
make
sure
these
these
kids
and
student
education
and
getting
ready
for
the
next
level
of
professionalism
in
eSports.
Now
we're
not
only
about
the.
B
B
Nba
2k,
where
the
teams
that
are
formed
are
actually
in
parallel
with
the
traditional
NBA
and
a
team's
end,
and
while
the
pro
side
is,
is
blowing
up
and
getting
much
more
prevalent
and
much
more
relevant
in
in
the
in
the
realm
of
traditional
sports,
as
the
pro
side
gets
understood
and
defined,
I
think
it's
helping
just
these
structures
or
helping
people
understand,
may
not
understand
what
the
game
overwatch
is
but
you're
seeing
a
lead.
Now
that
looks
an
awful
lot
like
the
NFL.
That's
a
franchise
model
teams
based
in
cities
have
played
at
conferences.
B
That
model
that
template
of
traditional
sports
coming
to
eSports
is
really
helping.
People
understand
what
it
is
clarify,
what
it
is
and,
as
the
pro
size
get
clarified,
it
really
helps
clarify
who
we
are
and
where
the
amateur
side
we
have
another
brand
in
the
marketplace
called
world
gaming.
We
do
a
lot
of
feeder
events,
developmental,
grassroots
events
that
feed
the
pro
pro
layers
and
it's
a
really
important
part
of
how
eSports
is
getting
big.
The
pro
side
got
off
and
running.
E
Thank
You
Larry
I
appreciate
it
so
yeah
as
women
looted.
My
name
is
Neal
Duffy,
I'm,
chief
commercial
officer
of
the
collegiate
Star
League,
and
also
world's
Gaming,
really
thrilled
to
be
down
here.
I've
been
working
in
this
space
in
collegiate
eSports
/.
This
is
my
fifth
year
and
when
we
started
this
endeavor
the
folks
from
Stockton,
you
can
imagine
there
wasn't
a
lot
going
on
in
collegiate
eSports
up
until
2014
when
you
know
Robert
Morris
and
those
folks
that
Chi
cago
came
up
with
that.
E
First
scholarship
program
and
and
we've
just
seen
the
explosion
since
and
I'm
so
thrilled
that
you
get
to
actually
meet
some
of
the
student
athletes
and
student
leaders.
I
need
to
speak
with
them
out
for
this,
because
these
moments
you
can
have
administrators.
You
can
have
business
folks.
You
can
have
business
leaders
up
here
talking
to
you
about
how
important
these
events
are
and
how
much
they
mean
to
the
community.
E
We
don't
know
if
that
will
happen
to
these
folks,
but
we
sure
hope
it
does,
and
it's
it's
important
for
you
guys
to
speak
to
the
players
that
are
actually
in
the
scene
and
and
these
guys
resonate
that
and
I'm
I'm
looking
forward
to
getting
a
chance
to
speak
to
you
after
so
as
I
mentioned.
We
know
this
now
for
five
years.
E
I
think
you'll
be
impressed,
and-
and
we
did
that
a
month
a
month
ago
or
a
month
and
a
half
ago,
and
that
came
down
with
an
open,
mind
and
I
was
just
so
impressed
with
with
what
Angela
and
Anthony
had
prepared
and
to
meet.
Folks,
like
like
Mitchell
and
and
and
Jim,
and
the
folks
who
came
out
to
meet
us
all
greet
us
and
Dan,
was
so
kind
to
open
up
the
building
to
us
here
and
walk
us
around
it
of
all
the
site,
inspections,
I've
done
and
we're
talking.
You
know.
C
E
If
not
more,
no
one
had
treated
us
as
well
as
Atlantic
City
did.
No
one
had
showed
more
enthusiasm
and
commitment
to
making
a
great
event
whether
that
be
from
the
marketing
side,
whether
that
be
from
the
venue
side,
whether
that
be
from
the
hotel
side
and
the
food
food
and
Bev's
I
needed
to
meet
Tony
wherever
he
is
here
who
runs
the
Steel
Pier.
E
You
know
talking
about
what
we
can
do
to
integrate
our
students
and
integrate
our
student-athletes
to
make
sure
that
they've
got
a
complete,
Atlantic
City
experience
when
they
can
be
in
order
to
compete
for
the
national
championships
next
month.
It's
exciting
and
I'm
really
proud
to
be
here
and
we're
really
excited
that
we've
chosen
Atlantic
as
our
destination
for
the
2019
grant
files.
Thank.
A
F
My
name
is
Rory
I'm,
a
president
and
founder
of
thrive
in
sentence
based
in
Toronto.
We
are
mainly
a
corporate
event
planning
company.
We
do
incentive
programs,
meetings
and
conferences
and
I've
known
Neil
for
almost
10
years
now,
and
the
excitement
is
shown
for
the
eSports
world
and
everything
from
him
has
really
intrigued
me
over
a
few
years
and
to
have
this
opportunity
to
come
on
and
help
run
the
event
alongside
MP
and
Angela
and
CSL
we're.
F
We're
trying
to
do
is
kind
of
bring
some
of
that
corporate
planning
experience
to
the
eSports
world
and
really
my
main
goal
for
the
event
is
to
have
everything
run
so
smoothly
that
the
guest
experience
is
out
of
this
world
and
we
can
really
showcase
Atlantic
City
as
a
premier
destination
for
other
future
events
as
well.
So
happy.
D
G
G
So
that's
sort
of
the
business
side
of
what
it
looks
like
I
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
kind
of
about
the
eSports
love
story
of
Atlantic
City
Atlantic
City
didn't
just
make
a
knee-jerk
reaction
to
eSports.
It
was
very
well
thought
out
and
very
considered
over
a
long
period
of
time.
I
want
to
just
point
out
a
few
people
that
are
in
the
audience
today
that
have
instrumental
in
making
this
happen.
G
Jim
wood
who's
here
today,
the
sports
commissioner
and
head
of
Meade
AC,
is
really
the
person
that
stood
up
and
spearheaded
the
initiative
to
bring
eSports
to
Atlantic
City.
It
was
under
his
direction
that
he
brought
our
company
together
with
convention,
sports
and
leisure,
a
company
owned
by
Legends.
That's
an
advisory
firm
and
hok
the
architectural
firm.
He
brought
us
all
together
and
wanted
to
really
know
what
would
a
sports
look
like
in
Atlantic
City?
What
would
the
economic
impact
be?
How
would
it
affect
our
visitation?
G
So
there
was
a
very
authentic
effort
made
to
do
eSports
in
Atlantic
City
the
right
way,
luring
more
and
I'm
sorry
Dan
and
all
the
fine
ladies
over
at
mean
AC
as
well,
along
with
Jim
that
have
helped
along
the
way
Marshall
spevak
and
Matt
Doherty
of
the
C
RDA,
who
have
helped
us
through
every
single
process
to
actually
get
the
program
off
its
feet
and
supply
subsidies
to
organizers
like
us
and
CSL
that
want
to
come
into
it.
City
luring
more
from
the
Atlantic
County
economic
alliance
has
been
our
cheerleader
from
day.
G
And
that's
the
one
thing
that
is
really
remarkable
to
me
is
that
everyone
that
has
been
involved.
You
know
it
crosses
political
parties.
It
crosses
race,
gender
age.
Everyone
has
come
together
to
me
that
mirrors
the
true
spirit
of
eSports,
because
it's
this
it's
inclusive
and
its
diverse,
so
we're
very
excited
to
be
here
in
Oh,
Barbara,
DeMarco
and
Michael
Tobin
from
combinate
who's
building
a
data
center
year
in
Atlantic
City.
So
we
can
be
better
connected
throughout
the
world
and
gauge
day
know
who
supports
us
in
every
way
here
in
Atlantic
City.
H
So
why
are
we
doing
this?
What
is
these
forges
a
question?
We
get
asked
a
lot.
We
also
get
asked
a
lot
of
other
questions.
Why
would
people
watch
other
people
play
video
games?
You
know
that's,
so
let
me
get
the
most
I'll.
Give
you
a
little
anecdote
as
to
how
big
video
games
are.
A
few
weeks
ago,
my
sister
had
a
birthday
party
for
her
son,
my
nephew
Mason,
ten.
H
H
H
With
might
here
and
the
reason
I
bring,
that
up
is
eSports,
isn't
something
that's
a
hobby
as
many
people
think
of
it.
It's
a
cultural
movement.
When
you
get
a
bunch
of
kids
together
in
one
room,
it
is
more
often
than
not
will
get
out
their
iPhones
and
Nintendo
switches
or
whatever
they're
on
and
play.
C
H
Some
people
that
have
said
this
is
the
beginning
of
the
next
big
thing
and
what
I
mean
big.
Some
of
the
people
here
have
mentioned.
It
has
the
possibility
of
being
bigger
than
most
of
traditional
sports
combined.
There's
events
in
the
eSports
world
that
have
more
viewership
for
one
event
and
combine
the
airship
from
major
events
such
as
a
Super
Bowl,
the
NBA
Finals
in
the
NCAA
tournament,
and
the
reason.
H
It
is
because
it's
usually
a
lower
age
under
35
under
40
activity,
but
it
is
something
that
is
not
going
not
going
to
go
away.
So
we
looked
at
what
does
it
like
say
they
need
to
look
forward
and
how
do
we
bring
up
more
and
entertainment
options
and
open
up
millenials
and
future
generations
coming
to
the
city
for
entertainment,
we
thought
that
eSports
was
a
great
way
to
to
get
people
interested
in
coming
to
the
city
and
then
enjoy
the
hotels,
casinos,
food
and
dining.
H
H
H
A
I
C
I
Really
summed
it
up
pretty
well,
I
mean
this
is
the
future
of
sports.
It's
the
future
of
entertainment
and
Atlantic
City,
especially
a
90
year-old
venue,
chip
whalemen,
Boardwalk
Hall
is
not
necessarily
known
as
the
technological
mecca
of
these
coasts
and
we're
not.
We
have
a
lot
of
work
to
do
in
a
month
and
we
have
a
lot
of
stuff
to
get
ready
for,
but
Jim
Whalen
Boardwalk
Hall
through
its
history
of
90
years,
has
been
the
entertainment
capital
of
the
world,
I
mean
in
1929.
I
D
D
I
G
E
Are
happy
to
lend
a
thanks
for
the
question
so
next
month,
April
26
to
28
we're
gonna
be
converging
with
there's
gonna
be
eight
different
games,
so
we're
gonna
have
about
a
hundred
competitors.
Come
in
they'll
have
qualified
the
season
takes
place
from
October
of
this
year,
all
the
way
through
playoffs
right
now
and
we're
about
to
determine
who
those
top
teams
are.
E
So
we've
got
over
$100,000
and
scholarships
that
are,
it's
gonna
be
won
over
that
weekend,
primarily
across
dota
2,
Counter,
Strike,
global
Offensive,
fortnight
and
League
of
Legends,
and
then
we're
also
going
to
be
having
a
showcase
around
Super,
Smash,
Brothers,
ultimate,
the
newest
game
on
Nintendo
switched
apex,
legends
and
NBA
2k,
and
we
haven't
really
except
to
be
showcasing
notice.
We're
gonna
have
a
free,
free
play
area,
so
people
can
come
in
and
have
the
opportunity
to
test
us
with
new
games
demo.
E
Some
new
games
play
with
their
friends
maybe
play
against
some
of
the
stocton
team
and
get
their
butts
whooped,
but
yeah
we're
gonna
have
a
lot
of
stuff
going
on.
There's
also
going
to
be
a
seminary
seminar,
series
seminar
series
which
is
going
to
be
an
educational
site
and
so
students
who
want
to
learn.
You
know
how
to
create
a
club
on
their
campus,
whether
that
be
in
New
Jersey
in
New
York
in
Texas.
In
Alaska.
E
We
want
to
be
an
advocate
for
student
leaders
to
find
a
place
and
find
a
home
on
campus
to
grow
their
passion,
which
would
be
through
their
eSports
Club,
whether
that
be
sanctioned
by
the
school
or
whether
that
just
be
student-led
and
we're
also
going
to
talk
about
different
ways
to
grow
content.
So
how
can
you
become
a
great
content
creator,
whether
that's
a
micro,
influencer
level,
we're
trying
to
make
that
as
a
job
or
a
hobby
or
just
a
passion?
E
So
we're
gonna
have
about
four
different
panels,
but
remembering
in
some
of
the
biggest
celebrities
and
the
gaming
space,
both
on
the
talent
side
and
then
from
the
content
creation
side.
So
it'll
be
meet-and-greet
opportunities
for
for
fan,
come
out
and
get
to
see
some
of
their
favorite
stars
and
we're
gonna
have
some
live
music
and
it's
gonna
be
a
really
fun
weekend.
All
of
us,
it's
gonna,
be
a
lot
of
contests
and
rising.
We've
got
a
really
great
partner
in
twitch,
which
is
the
world's
largest
broadcast.
E
Distribution,
live
streaming
distribution
platform,
so
we're
going
to
be
distributing
across
their
platform
exclusively.
Last
year
we
had
just
about
a
million
views
and
this
year
we're
hoping
to
get
but
and
then
a
million
and
a
half
to
use
over
those
two
three
days.
So
there's
going
to
be
a
lot
of
eyeballs,
not
only
in
our.
B
B
The
other
interesting
thing
that's
going
on
at
this
event.
Two
weeks
ago
we
announced
a
partnership
with
ESPN.
They
are
running
for
the
first
time,
a
collegiate
championship
for
eSports
and
it's
being
held
in
Houston
May
10
to
the
12.
One
of
our
leagues
is
going
to
be
showcased.
In
their
final
event,
that's
our
brand
new
lean
around
street
fighters
and
actually,
at
this
event,
will
be
one
of
the
qualifying
legs
or
for
a
team
for
players
to
make
it
into
the
ESPN
event.
B
C
A
Other
questions,
Anthony
I,
have
a
question
that
maybe
for
you
I've,
been
doing
some
research
too,
and
it
seems
like
the
eSports
is
like
a
global
explosion.
It's
not
just
it's,
not
the
States.
You've
got
Philadelphia's
doing
you
know
what
Las
Vegas
is
doing.
I.
Think
I
read
where
China
is
building
an
entire
city
of
your
choosing
you
sport.
So
can
you
kind
of
give
us
a
few?
The
future
look
of
I.
H
C
H
A
crowd
of
people
about
20
people
were
surrounding
a
player
of
a
video
game.
This
is
about
10
years
ago.
That
sort
of
level
of
feign,
enthusiasm
and
support
is
what
we're
already
starting
to
see
in
the
United,
States
and
I,
totally
believe
within
the
next
5
years.
We
will
also
get
to
that
point.
The
overwatch
league
and
their
players
are
becoming
celebrities
among
their
fans.
Some
broadcasters
and
I
know.
Most
of
you
heard.
H
The
name
of
ninja
are
becoming
extremely
well-known,
where
my
kids
couldn't
tell
you
a
single
player
who
plays
in
any
Philadelphia
team,
but
they
can
tell
you
who
plays
for
the
fusion
and
who
ninja
is,
and
they
follow
every
stream
that
he
has.
So
what
we're
going
to
see
is
the
eSports
becoming
part
of
the
fundamental
aspect
of
daily
life,
from
middle
school
to
high
school
and
collegiate
leagues,
so.
H
B
H
The
ACA
in
Atlantic
County
about
what
we're
doing
in
a
lot
of
County
for
these
sports,
but
it
is
going
to
become
a
major
part
of
life
for
everyone,
so
you're
going
to
see
kids
in
high
schoolers
and
you
know
going
into
schools,
colleges
on
varsity
programs,
I
think
what
is
it?
76
varsity
programs
currently
exist
in
the
United
States,
and
that
means
that
people
get
scholarships
to
play
competitively
in
video
games
against
other
schools
that
will
expand
theirs
colleges.
H
Now
Stockton
is
one
of
the
greatest
examples
of
Scott
Houston
put
together
a
program,
a
great
program,
practically
overnight,
very
proud
of
what
Scott
has
done,
but
the
expansion
of
that
program
may
include
things
like
speech:
Sports,
Management,
eSports,
Media
eSports
is
streaming
it's
a
real
legitimate
industry
and
it
has
many
facets.
One
of
the
things
we
want
to
see
is
what
happened
in
Katowice
Poland,
where
the
city
became
such
a
focus
of
eSports,
that
it
developed
an
infrastructure
based
around
technology.
Companies
thought
it
was
easier.
H
Up
basic
training,
academies,
tech
companies
that
do
the
land
wires
and
the
technical
part
of
the
operations
for
eSports
events
you're
going
to
see
a
lot
of
eSports
in
the
mainstream,
also,
as
was
mentioned
by
wim
yes
began-
is
starting
to
broadcast
it,
but
because
the
mainstream
media
is
broadcasting,
something
doesn't
now
make
it
big.
It's
always
been
big
and
I.
Think
if.
C
H
D
D
There
there
there
clearly
is
a
lot
of
excitement
about
the
new
facility,
that's
going
to
be
in
Philadelphia
and
other
facilities
around
the
country,
but
isn't
there
something
really
exciting
about
taking
a
ninety-year-old
facility
that
has
all
the
history
that
Jim
talked
about
and
adding
the
technology
and
the
setting
of
Atlantic
City?
That
really
will
make
this
a
spectacular
destination.
G
Came
to
see
the
building
that
I
love
the
idea
of
the
contrast
and
the
juxtaposition,
you
know
technology,
you
know
in
a
classic
building
on
the
boardwalk
by
the
sea,
there's
just
something
very
romantic
about
that.
That
is
singular
than
I've
ever
seen
anywhere,
so
we're
looking
really
forward
to
taking
some
of
these
events
like
CSL,
possibly
in
the
future.
You
know
getting
some
more
infrastructure
here
in
the
building,
so
that
were
more
eSports,
friendly
and
sort
of
kind
of
have
a
plug
and
play
system.
I
think
this
may
be
a
good
time
Anthony.
E
We
got
a
tour
five
six
weeks
to
go
and
how
we
could
take
this
historic
venue
where
they've
had
boxing
matches
and
all
kinds
of
other
entertainment
events
over
the
last
90
years.
And
how
could
we
modernize
that?
How
could
we
make
this,
be
something
that
is
one
epoch
when
it
comes
to
an
eSports
event
and
to
modern
enough
that
the
gamers
who
have
played
in
destinations
like
Arlington
and
Las
Vegas
and
in
Los
Angeles,
where
they
can
walk
in
and
feel
comfortable
and
at
home
yeah
in
a
destination
like
this?
E
So
here,
if
you
just
stop
on
this
on
this
slide,
this
is
this
could
be
anywhere.
This
could
be
in
China.
This
could
be
in
in
Vegas.
This
could
be
in
New
York.
This
can
be
any
great
destination,
but
this
is
upstairs
in
this
building
the
Adrian
Phillips
theater,
so
we're
working
with
two
of
the
best
groups
in
the
business.
The
one
is
called
wave
form.
E
E
So
to
have
someone
like
both
of
those
guys
come
in
and
take
a
look
at
our
business
and
say
we
really
wanted
part
of
what
you
guys
are
building
here
in
Atlantic,
City
from
the
logistics
operations
and
and
and
preparation
side
to
Mirage
and
his
team
onboard
and
then
wave
form,
and
these
guys
they've
taken
these
events
and
they've
they,
the
these
were
delayed
because
they
were
throwing
an
event
in
Frankfort
this
past
weekend.
So
these
came
through
late
last
night.
E
But
if
anyone
wants
to
see
these
we're
happy
to
share
them
and
Anthony
will
be
able
to
share
these,
but
we're
going
to
mock
this
up
and
in
five
short
weeks
time
or
four
short
weeks
time.
The
theater
upstairs
that
you
guys
are
so
used
to
seeing,
will
look
a
little
bit
like
this.
Here
are
some
of
the
the
free
play
areas.
So
we've
got
stuff
like
apex
legends,
Street,
Fighter,
NBA
2k.
So
all
of
this
is
what
we're
going
to
turn
that
beautiful
and
historic
venue
into
the
next
great
eSports
destination.
