From YouTube: Backdrop Design & UX - Feb 28
Description
Today’s design agenda: http://bit.ly/2E9d7tW
A
All
right
we're
on
air
today
is
Thursday
February
28th,
and
this
is
a
meeting
to
check
in
on
design
usability
tasks.
For
a
backdrop
on
our
to-do
list
today
is
to
talk
about
backdrops
CMS
org,
our
main
website,
which
sadly
has
not
been
getting
as
much
progress
as
I
would
like
for
it.
Our
two
main
issues
are
to
improve
the
process
of
looking
for
module,
sleeves
and
layouts
and
to
set
up
our
demo
site
so
that
we
have
individual
tugboat
instances
for
people
instead
of
sending
them
to
the
panthéon
page
and
we've.
A
Both
those
tasks
are
stuck.
The
module
teams.
Layout
search
page
is
stuck
with
a
search
issue
that
Nate
posted
a
patch
for
para-power
course
that
I
need
to
test
or
anyone
contest,
I
suppose
and
then
sandbox
demo
I
think
is
having
an
issue
with
the
tugboat
API
key
or
service
key,
or
something
like
that
and
mate
said
you
generate
a
new
one,
a
new
one
isn't
working,
but
in
generating
a
new
one.
He
made
the
old
one
network,
so
reverting
the
commit,
which
was
my
original
plan
last
week.
A
It's
not
gonna
fix
the
problem
because
that
we
know
that
key
to
spark
either.
So
let
me
get
another
new
one
which
I
don't
know
how
to
do
and
I
don't
know
if
I
have
access
to
it.
So
I
think
we
actually
need
Nate
to
generate
a
new
key
for
us
and
then
I
think
answer
the
first
one,
because
I
got
committed
into
the
repository.
So.
A
Lend
out
the
door
anymore
so
now
I've
got
it
like
set
up
in
a
way
to
secure,
but
we
need
a
little
key.
That's
not
committed
to
the
repository,
so
those
are
both
stuck
I
know:
Drupal
sent
out
an
email
earlier
this
week,
notifying
everybody
of
Drupal
7
s
end-of-life
and
based
on
what's
been
happening.
With
the
backdrop,
Twitter
account
the
backdrop
email
forum
on
the
main
website,
a
flurry
of
activity
in
the
forum.
A
It
looks
like
a
whole
bunch
of
people
sort
of
had
a
little
mini
panic,
attack
about
Drupal,
7
end-of-life
coming
and
aren't
all
of
a
sudden
searched
and
found
a
backdraft,
so
number
one
I
think
that's
great
because
they
found
but
number
two.
It
does
sort
of
put
a
little
pressure
on
us
doing
a
better
job
at
paying
attention
to
like
backdrops.
You
must
at
work
in
the
forum
and
all
these
other
things
that
were
working
on
so
I
would
love
it.
A
So
anything
we
can
do
like
this
week
to
make
that
process
or
any
of
the
like
I,
don't
know
people
exploring
for
options.
Better
would
be
great.
So
that's
just
like
I
want
to
say
and
I'm
also
saying
that
a
lot
of,
because
I'm
hoping
that
I'm
gonna
be
neat.
I
have
a
software.
Let's
say
soft
deliverable
tomorrow,
but
I'm
hoping
that
once
that's
gone,
it
would
sort
of
refocus.
A
lot
of
my
effort
on
to
fact-check
see
must
already,
since,
like.
C
The
thing
I
think
I
brought
up
last
week,
I'm
the
outreach
meeting
listed
I've
been
trying
to
find
a
week
where
I
could
like
focus
on
the
forum,
which
is
a
public.
You
know
a
public
facing
thing
and
it's
the
same
thing
to
address
usability
issues.
I
think
we've
had
a
number
of
very
key
there's
some
low-hanging
fruit
in
terms
of
on
the
forum
just
using
different
terms
for
the
same
thing
and
so
yeah.
C
If
you,
if
we
were
to
dedicate
it,
you
know
a
day
or
a
week
that
would
have
helped
me
get
focused
as
well,
but
so
I'll
just
throw
that
out.
The
other
thing
is
in
this
worry
of
activity.
I've
noticed
that
too,
and
I
feel
like
one
of
the
things
we
could
do
is
get
you
know
is,
do
do
something
more
on
migrations
right.
That
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
questions
about
so
we
had
talked
about
what
the
next
topic
for
the
next
virtual
user
group
would
be
and
I'm
feeling
like
wait
now.
C
D
D
But
I
watched
the
previous
feature
meeting
and
the
mentioning
of
the
paradigms
shift
between
these
seven
things
and
our
layout
system
seems
to
be
a
major
thing
that
people
need
to
understand
and
I
think
that
most
of
the
work
will
be
done.
They're
putting
the
things
general
I
know
that
you
have
most
more
experiencing.
That's
all
yeah.
A
I
was
just
thinking
that
might
be
make
a
fantastic
video,
so
it
would
just
be
like
this
is
my
Drupal
7
theme.
This
is
my
backdrop
layout
system.
This
is
where
I
put
everything
and
that's
the
kind
of
thing
that
it's
gonna
be
like
half
an
hour
of
like
code,
copy
pasting
but
I
think
just
stepping
through
it
like
that
someone
could
sit
down
and
be
like.
Oh
it's
not
that
bad
and
the
thing
is
just
not
knowing
how
how
it's
different
and
how
to
like,
wrap
your
mind
around
what
it
is.
A
I
think
watching
to
that
and
being
like.
Oh,
this
is
here
and
that's
here
here,
and
this
is
how
it
all
fits
together
might
be
enough
to
kind
of
just
give
people
the
confidence
feel
like
I'm
gonna.
Try
it
myself
and
stumble
through,
whereas
initially
you're
like
I,
don't
know
how
any
of
this
like
max
to
what
I
know
so
yeah
I
definitely
think.
That's
good
I
finally
got
my
hot
imported
test.
A
D
A
can
remember
who
it
was
now
that
responded
that
article
and
said
hey,
you
know
what
backdrop
is
an
option
and
then
the
person
who
wrote
the
article
actually
responded
back
and
said:
yeah
I
was
aware
of
it,
but
I
don't
know
what
the
health
and
the
status
of
the
project
is
20,
and
then
he
mentioned
something
about
documentation
and
what
happens
with
layout.
So
I
got
an
extending
his
excessive
response.
D
Unfortunately,
was
my
first
time
that
I
was
looking
in
with
this
case
and
then
then
it's
off
like
got
suspended
until
approval
I,
need
to
check
back
on
that,
but
that
got
me
into
a
trip
of
trying
to
find
videos
or
documentation
related
to
layouts
and
I
found.
Three
one
was
the
original
implementation,
which
was
a
short
one,
and
then
there
were
another
one
hour-long
presentations,
another
two
of
them,
but
these
are
dated
as
well.
One
is
from
back
in
2016.
We
still
didn't
and
updated
the
17th.
We
still.
D
D
But
but
but
yeah
that
will
help
the
video
that
we
done
and
also
then
I
went
through
the
the
slides
that
we
have
for
back
shop
and
there's
a
thing
there's
two
of
them,
a
short
one
and
a
long
one
of
what
is
so
like
the
history
of
it.
The
one
that
is
longer
is
a
bit
outdated,
like
it
still
talks
about
releasing
1.10
or
something
like
that
and
I
thought
that
maybe
we
could
consolidate
those
two
and
I
was
thinking
because
it
would
be
tricky
to
be.
A
Yeah,
so
we
use
the
short
one
for
the
intro
or
like
a
beginning
of
a
training
class
and
sometimes
in
our
session
that
we
give
at
Drupal
camps
and
the
reason
we
have
the
short
one
is
because
we
wanted
to
add
demo
at
the
end.
So
the
longer
one
hasn't
been
used
since
before
we
started
doing
the
demo,
but
we've
now
like
the
shorter
who's
new
to
me,
originally
really,
let's
take
the
big
presentation
and
cut
it
in
half
and
we
have
demo.
A
But
now
we
have
like
been
adding
so
much
stuff
that,
like
both
of
those,
are
getting
longer
to
the
point
where
we
now
have
like
two
sessions
where
we
have
a
demo
session
and
philosophy
session.
So
at
this
point
it
might
make
sense
to
like
just
throw
out
the
old
philosophy
section,
essentially
because
it's
been
replaced
with
a
newer
one
with
all
new
stuff
and
they're
about
the
same
link
anymore
and
yeah.
B
A
It
just
talks
about
all
the
stuff
that
went
into
every
major
release
so
far
and
then
what
we're
planning
in,
what's
coming
and
I,
think
that
that
is
also
like
a
much
better
talk
than
the
previous
one
we
had
anyway,
so
it
might
just
be
worth
like
removing
that
set
of
slides
from
the
public
repository
or
put
it
making
an
archive
folder
or
something
where
we're
like.
We
know
this
is
our
date,
but
in
case
it
needs
any
of
those
assets.
They're
still
there
yeah.
D
B
D
A
D
D
Think
that
we
need
to
like
I,
think
it's
equal,
we're
gonna,
say
equally
at
least
important
with
the
security
updates
and
the
something
that
is
to
be
discussed
to
the
next
meeting.
The
dev,
meaning
I
think
it's
high
time
for
that
contribs
quad
thing
so
that
I
can
better
yeah.
So
that's
that's
one
of
them.
We
have
translations
as
well.
So
as
far
as
I
know,
I'm,
the
only
sort
of
like
active
member
of
the
community
that
that
is
in
the
Greek
sort
of
like
speaks
Greek.
A
D
Know
what
yeah
I
think
I
had
ADEs
my
profile,
my
Disqus
profile,
where
it
hadn't
petting,
Assad
and
I
need
to
make
make
some
after
reading
it.
After
having
posting
it,
I
couldn't
edit
it
and
I
needed
to
make
some
edits.
I
couldn't
so
I'll
see
I'll
see
if
this
can
be
done
and
I'll
find
it.
I
actually
have
a
thumb
here.
Let
me
see.
D
Yeah,
for
example,
I
mentioned
and
I
said
we
had
15
on
time
quarterly
releases.
It's
not
morally,
so
I
need
to
correct
that
and
then
yeah
before
logging,
in
the
everything
that
I
typed
and
it
was
a
link
to
a
video
or
anything
was
just
you
know,
pulling
back
there.
So
I
need
to
fix
it
up,
because
once
you
register,
then
you
have
formatting
options.
So
I
need
to
fix
that
up
when
it
gets
published
so
soon
as
I
have
access
to
it,
but
I
think
I
can
convert
that
into
a
blog
post.
It's.
D
It's
it's
sort
of
it
sort
of
starts,
because
the
person
I
can't
remember
I
do
have
the
the
questions
actually
might
be
worth
saying.
Reading
there
shortly
that
the
the
original
question
or
was
it
hold
on
a
sec
things
are
loading.
My
computer
decided
so
yeah.
So
it
was
thing
that,
of
course,
who
mentioned
backed
up
there
and
then
the
guy
you
guys
thanks
team
I,
haven't
heard
back
from
backdrop
recently
and
to
be
honest,
I
haven't
much
of
a
clue
about
the
states
in
the
health
of
the
project,
so
I
had
to
do.
D
The
whole
thing
remember
how
we
in
the
previous
dev
meetings
in
the
India
first,
the
meetings
that
we
had.
We
had
this
community
status
thing
where
we
would
have
stats
so
I've
done
that
again,
trying
to
find
all
the
documentation
of
where
we
find
things
like
how
many
users
are
registered
in
a
bit
of
torque.
How
many
are
in
the
forum,
which
is
something
that
I've
included
so
I,
was
at
the
end.
A
D
A
Sounds
fantastic
I
want
to
read
it
sorry
so
backdrop
CMS
org
needs
love,
we're
gonna
work
on
it
and
other
stuff
backdrop:
the
project.
We
have
a
couple
of
design
issues
and
a
couple
of
usability
issues
that
we've
highlighted,
in
particular
things
that
are
scheduled
for
backdrop.
A
A
Which
is
something
I'm
really
excited
about
because
for
triple
I'd
love
to
have
one
in
backdrop.
That's
issue
number
four.
Ninety
five.
There
is
a
for
quest
there
that
anyone
can
test
and
try
and
make
sure
we
have
all
the
stuff
that
would
be
valuable
and
officially
missing.
We
have
a
list
there
like
nice
to
have
wishlist
items,
but
I
think
as
it
is
now
is
sort
of
ready
to
go
in
and
anything
else
to
add.
With
the
icing
on
cake,
yeah.
D
But
the
good
thing
with
this
issue
is
that,
as
you
said-
and
we
mentioned
this
before,
it
can
go
up
being
as
in
as
is
we
can,
which,
in
sort
of
like
either
ways
and
add
blocks,
because
it's
based
on
blocks
and
stuff
like
that,
so
we
can
improve
its
any
will
be
even
at
the
port
at
the
status
that
the
thing
that
poll
request
was
a
couple
of
months
when
I
last.
Secondly,
would
it
was
way
better
than
what
we
have
now?
A
Next
one
is
adding
save
draft
module
in
core
31:57,
something
with
issue
number
for
that
issue
and
that
just
sort
of
reorganizes
the
node
inform
to
make
it
make
more
sense
for
people.
So
I
think
that's
a
good
issue
to
focus
on
for
getting
into
the
next
version.
And
then
you
know
the
other
one
we
have
highlighted
in
this
list
is
getting
promoted
modules
on
to
the
Installer.
So
this
is
sort
of
a
three
part
thing
where
we
have
the
ability
on
site
to
promote
the
modules.
A
We
need
to
update
the
project
module
to
pass
that
information
along
to
the
software,
and
then
we
need
to
update
the
software
to
format,
to
sort
correctly
and
then
format
that
information
on
the
page.
So
we
need
to
figure
out
which
one
of
those
goes
in,
which
order
I
think
right
now
we
have
yet
to
update
the
project
feed
from
active
CMS
to
org,
and
so
we
can't
really
do
any
work
on
the
incoming
display
of
that
data
until
we
have
data
to
display
or
order
or
whatever
we're
going
to
do.
A
Also
is
really
familiar
with
the
project
and
seller
because
he
did
a
bunch
of
work
recently
to
add
the
images
and
stuff
from
modules
and
themes
and
layouts
for
the
slideshow
and
there's
a
bunch
of
other
information
like
the
tags
for
module
stuff.
He
put
a
bunch
of
stuff
in
there,
so
I
think
he's
pretty
familiar
with
it.
A
A
There's
not
only
issues
sort
of
highlighted
for
usability
changes
and
for
1/3,
but
there
are
a
bunch
of
other
issues
typed
with
UX
in
the
issue
title,
which
would
be
good
candidates.
Some
of
them
are
little
things
that
could
go
in
as
bug
fixes
at
any
time.
Some
of
them
are
bigger.
Future
requests
asks
and
those
are
scheduled
for
major
milestones,
so
there's
a
bunch
of
those
that
we
could
get
in
between
now
and
one
three,
whether
they're
in
one
three
or
one
twelve
dot.
Whatever
comes
next
design
wise,
we
have
two
major
issues.
A
To
put
this
in
the
issue
or
not
where,
if
we
could
do
a
darkening
or
lightening
with
CSS
in
the
places
where
that
color
contrast
isn't
high
enough.
So
if
we
have
had
instances
where
one
of
our
color
palettes
had
you
know
like
a
text
color
that
wasn't
dark
enough,
we
could
use
CSS
thing
to
like
lighten
the
background
behind
it.
A
But
I
had
this
idea
that,
like
maybe
we
don't
need
more
colors,
maybe
we
can
just
use
like
transparent
adjustments
of
things
so
I'll
give
it
a
try.
Gonna
be
good.
It
might
be
a
terrible
idea.
D
D
A
A
D
A
And
then
the
other
issue-
that's
on
this
list
currently
was
the
design
and
the
maintenance
page
issue
and
I
filed
a
super
simple
pull
request
that
just
like
centers
the
text
on
that
pigeon.
That's
a
font
or
something
background,
color,
maybe
and
I
thought.
Maybe
that
change
was
simple
enough,
that
it
might
qualify
as
a
change
that
would
be
suitable
for
above
fix
release
and
then
would
you
want
to
actually
add
a
real
design
to
that
page
and
sort
of
make
it
more
fun.
A
We
could
do
that
in
for
the
minor
release,
so
I
think
I
need
a
cork
emitter
to
weigh
in
on
whether
adding
some
CSS
to
that
page
counts
as
a
bug
fix
or
not.
It
seemed
trivial
to
me
in
terms
of
its
implementation,
but
I'm,
not
sure
about
ramifications
of
sites
that
may
have
already
styled
that
page.
If
this
would
conflict
with
that
in
any
way
that
might
be
negative
or
not.
A
If
anyone
isn't
interested
in
designing
things
for
a
web,
but
is
interesting,
things
for
print
we've
talked
about
getting
a
pop-up
in
are
made
for
events
where
backdrop
might
be
featured,
we've
also
talked
about
getting
a
little
sticker
that
might
play
nicely
with
a
glowing
icon
on
the
back
of
an
Apple
computer,
which
could
be
fun
and
then
I
think
there
was
something
else
we
talked
about
like
if
somebody
wanted
to
do
something
crazy
with
the
Dragon
for
t-shirts
or
know
what
for
distributing
at
different
points
around
the
world.
That
would
also
be
something
that.
C
A
B
A
A
Think
kind
of
the
point
of
the
dragon
is
that
we
wanted
it
to
be
for
everybody.
We
just
had
something
like
we
need.
We
need
a
bunch
of
stuff
to
start
with,
and
so
now
we
could
definitely
go
back
to
him
and
ask
for
more.
If
we
wanted
more
dragons,
he
would
probably
be
more
than
happy
to
make
it
for
us,
but.
A
If
we
could
take
this
dragon
and
give
it
to
someone
else
and
be
like
this
dragons
for
the
community
to
play
with
like
what
do
you
want
to
see
the
dragon
do
it
like?
Is
he
big
enough
to
fly
yeah,
or
maybe
it's
like
sitting
on
a
nest
with
eggs
in
it
or
something
I,
don't
know
like
there's,
definitely
other
things
the
dragon
could
be
doing
that
I
haven't
thought
of
that?
Maybe
a
designer
would
have
fun
with
so
I
would
totally
be
fine
with
working
with
anyone
who
wanted
to
play
with
dragons
yeah.
E
I
think
we
quite
have
this
and
I
don't
know,
what's
involved
in
getting
it,
but
but
we
need
sort
of
like
a
design
library
or
in
the
like
play,
not
not
poses
we're
just
kind
of
like
the
specifications
for
drop
like
oh
I,
almost
like
architectural
renderings
of
like
this
is
what
the
wings
are
shaped
like.
This
is
what
the
claws
are
shaped
like.
This
is
what
his
head
looks
like
from
the
front
from
the
side
from
the
top
is
how
long
it
is
just.
B
E
E
A
E
Until
until
assistant
illa,.
A
Anyway,
they
have
a
fantastic
logo
spec
where
they're
like
these
are
the
colors
you
use.
This
is
the
direction
of
the
stripes
point.
You
can
put
a
box
around
it,
but
it
can't
be
very
close.
The
lines
need
to
be
like
this
in
this
proportion
to
each
other,
but
it's
sort
of
a
like
very
loose
kind
of
like
a
song.
You
have
four
lines,
and
these
colors
you're,
fine
and
I
would
I
think
that
we
could
do
something
really
similar
with
the
dragon,
but
I'd
be
like
the
dragon
has
a
dished
face.
A
E
Iii
think
I
think
kids
traits
like
that.
That
are
very
free,
because
if,
if
you
don't
have
those,
then
you
imagine
way
more
restrictive
stuff,
then
yeah
you
do
and
and
and
you
don't
feel
the
license
to
extend
it.
So
so
if
we
could
really
kind
of
nail
down
the
stuff
that
you
can't
do,
people
rings
yeah
different
jet.
A
E
A
D
D
A
He
ordered
like
a
sample
set
from
Vistaprint,
but
there
was
something
like
super
crappy
about
the
zoo
there
like
the
card
stock
or
the
way
the
ink
blood
on
it
or
something
where
it's
like
half
the
park
was
black
and
half
of
it
was
white
with
the
black
half
like
rubbed
off
on
the
card
next
to
it.
So
you
get
these
like
spots
of
white
and
your
black
half,
and
so
it
was
just
not
a
good
and
mark
part
of
that
might
have
been
because
it
was
like
mister
print
right.
You.
B
A
F
D
A
A
C
A
C
In
advance
like
to
sprint,
you
know
we
just
talked
about
those
are
the
backdrop
or
Gore
design
issues,
I
think
glasses,
gonna,
be
there
yes,
figure
out
of
West
I.
Think
from
my
talks
with
Wes
at
the
Florida
camp.
I
think
you
know
if
you
have
the
time
if
he
still
wants
to
help
with
some
stuff,
and
that
might
be
good
data
corner.
C
That's
what
I'm
he
was
yeah.
He
was
busy
working
on
something
else,
although
we
had
some
backdrop
discussions
on
spring
day,
but
I
was
thinking
if
we
got
that
on
his
agenda.
We'd
have
four
or
five
of
us
there
at
mid
camp,
and
we
could
you
know
and
and
if
we
publicized
what
we
were
going
to
work
on,
you
know
we
might
actually
attract
somebody
else.
Yeah.
A
F
A
Okay
and
that's
great
great
idea
and
I
also
think
it
would
be
good
if
we
pick
something
to
sprint
on
like
rector
semester.
Org
would
be
good.
One
also
forum
like
just
by
itself
might
be
good
one.
So
we'll
just
take
a
look
at
one
of
our
well.
Our
issues
are
I
know
one
of
the
things
that's
like
sort
of
been
bitching
in
the
back
of
my
mind.
Lately
is
figuring
out
our
like
single
sign-on
solution,
especially
now
that
we
have
people
are
signing
up
for
the
forum
form.
A
There's
like
some
confusion
there,
like
a
creating
an
account
on
back
trip,
see
my
start
but
I
count
along
into
the
forum
and
I'm
like.
Oh,
we
really
need
to
fix
that
so
yeah
I'm,
just
trying
to
figure
out
that
whole
workflow
I
think,
would
be
really
good.
We
have
a
bunch
of
people
there
to
figure
it
like
try,
it
tested
make
sure
it
works.
That
would
be
really
good.
