From YouTube: Backdrop Weekly - Feb 21
Description
Today’s development agenda: http://bit.ly/2X3LNEX
A
So
that,
hopefully,
we'll
get
an
official
vote
this
week
and
then
we
will
update
all
of
our
documentation
to
say
as
much
next
week
contributed
projects.
In
the
last
week,
we've
got
two
new
modules
out:
autocomplete
widgets
and
the
ban
I
pee
module.
So
thank
you.
Everybody
who's
been
working
on
those
packed
optimist.
Org.
We
talked
about
at
length
in
the
outreach
meeting
previously,
so,
if
you're
interested
in
how
some
of
these
issues
are
moving
on,
I
would
encourage
you
to
watch
that
meaning
or
at
least
the
beginning
part
of
it.
A
Magis
Vincent
Leia
pages
is
currently
stuck,
but
we
have
a
fix
suggested
on
page
Jenna.
Demo.
Button
is
also
stuck,
but
we
have
a
fixed
recommended.
For
that
me,
a
notice
there
was
a
single
commit
to
the
code
base
for
a
change
that
I
thought.
I
would
just
try
and
revert
and
see
if
that
made
everything
work
again.
A
B
B
A
Well,
we
will
try
that
again
at
some
point,
so
I
will
not
revert
the
commit
and
then
let's
see
we
have
a
note
here,
just
to
update
the
security
or
at
least
policy
once
we
get
that
finalized
I
thought
that
also
might
make
a
great
topic
for
security
related
blog
post,
which
is
relevant
this
week,
translations
site
just
so
you
guys
know.
Olaf
has
been
in
doing
so
much
work
on
the
translation
site
he's
even
recruiting
other
people
to
maintain
specific
languages.
A
A
B
Right
so
yeah,
the
big
thing
this
week
was
that
we
had
a
security
release
comment
yesterday:
1
12
3,
as
well
as
1,
11,
6
I,
believe
so
yeah.
The
the
discussion
around
security
policy
is
how
far
back
we
want
to
support
and
for
the
time
being,
we're
we're
doing
two
so
or
we've
done
that
for
this
most
recent
release,
and
so
that
had
one
minor
other
fix
on
it,
but
then
primarily
the
security
fix,
which
there
was
some
confusion
around
what
situation.
B
Yes,
that
would
actually
be
vulnerable
in,
especially
on
the
Drupal
side
with
which
we
coordinated.
It
was
slightly
more
complicated
like
between
Drupal
7
and
Drupal
8,
which
versions
were
vulnerable
and
what
combinations,
but
in
backdrop,
the
only
situation
where
you
would
have
problems
would
be
if
you
were
using
services,
module
or
some
other
rest
based
module.
That
will
allow
you
to
create
content
and
links.
So
if
it
was
possible
to
create
content
through
services
that
included
a
link,
then
a
link
field
provided
by
link
module,
then
you
potentially
had
a
problem.
B
So
the
situation
for
backdrop
is
kind
of
an
unusual
configuration
or
less
likely
to
occur,
but
nonetheless,
like
you
know,
we
released
for
the
same
like
warning
level
as
as
Drupal
itself
did
so
anyway.
That
went
pretty
well
yesterday,
making
those
releases
no
big
problems.
There
I
think
we
have
a
an
issue:
oh
yeah,
okay,
so
dad,
let's,
let's
jump
right
into
112
for
what
should
be
the
next
bug
fix
release.
B
B
B
B
Let's
see
other
items
that
we've
got
for
112,
for
there
are
of
note,
we've
got
a
couple
more
RTL
issues,
we've
been
going
through
with
lots
and
lots
of
RTL
fixes
recently,
which
has
been
wonderful,
the
one
that,
as
a
particular
note,
is
the
configuration
of
a
rich
text.
Editor
for
CK
editor
is
pretty
broken,
so
the
drag
drop,
interface,
replacement,
buttons,
yeah.
C
This
bump
I
was
telling
Jim
that
found
like
lots
and
lots
more
because
of
Swiss
the
most
like
a
couple
of
my
test
environments
to
permanently
RTL,
so
the
mobile
primary
tabs
are
broken.
This
is
various
other
issues.
I've
done
some
more
research
and
can
I
use.
Chrome
says
that
the
BDE
video
object
is
supported
as
far
as
back
as
ie6,
so
this
solves
most
of
the
problems,
especially
where
punctuation
is
in
place.
C
B
C
Yeah
it
does
that
with
the
English
language.
So
if
you
keep
the
English
language,
while
you
switch
to
RTL,
then
the
text
that
you
see
will
read
backwards,
but
that
if
you
actually
use
the
pieces
for
troubleshooting
purposes,
if
you
actually
use
a
language
that
is
RTO
it
doesn't,
it
doesn't
have
that
problem.
Okay,.
B
A
C
C
B
B
3462,
as
a
database
exception
occurs
when,
when
a
file
is
removed
out
from
under
backdrop,
and
this
one
also
has
a
patch
but
needs
but
needs
tests,
I
did
post
a
comment
on
my
last
week
about
how
to
write
the
tests.
Sorry
I
don't
think
that
there's
much
of
a
technical
challenge
on
that
one
getting
the
test
put
together
and,
lastly,
a
display
problem
with
contextual
links
for
views
issue
2690
that
sometimes
the
contextual
links
can
be
hard
to
access
for
views
that
our
page
displays
that
currently
needs
work.
B
That's
it
for
112
for
the
next
bug
fix
release,
items
that
are
prioritized,
there's
also
a
bunch
more
of
them
in
the
112
for
milestone.
I
think
that
we've
got
take
a
quick
look,
looks
like
about
30
issues
that
are
tagged
for
112
for
for
113
113
will
be
the
next
minor
release.
They'll
come
out,
May
15th,
May,
15,
2000,
18
and
items
that
we've
got
slated
here
as
priorities
include
telemetry
issue.
B
B
We
would
like
to
start
collecting
that
information
separately
from
updates
and
so
285
is
the
issue
to
create
a
new
telemetry
module.
The
status
here
says,
needs
love,
I,
think
yeah.
Basically,
we've
decided
on
general
approach,
but
there
isn't
even
start
of
a
module
or
anything
yet
there
so
yeah
champion
or
somebody
to
start
brand-new
module
in
285.
Like
here's,
your
chance.
B
Dashboard
is
issue.
495
dashboard
currently
means
review
/
work.
Jen.
Do
you
want
to
say
anything
about
dashboard
since
you've
got
more
information
on
that?
Okay,
I
think.
Basically,
there
hasn't
been
a
lot
of
activity
on
that
in
the
last
week,
adding
translatable
strings
to
core
config
files
is
issued,
34:55
continuing
to
build
up
functionality
that
we
added
in
112.
This
is
a
start
to
make
it
so
that
translatable
strings
can
be
pulled
out
of
config
files
so
that
when
you
download
translations
from
the
localization
server,
it
will
include
those
strings.
B
B
And
last
item
on
113
package
signing
making
it
so
that's
when
zip
files
are
downloaded
from
backdrop,
CMS,
org
or
actually
technically
github.
That
would
be
able
to
validate
that
the
packages
were
untampered
in
transit.
That's
issued
1992
currently
has
a
different
proof
of
concepts,
implementations
and
there
needs
some
work.
B
That's
it
for
the
items
that
got
pulled
out
for
113,
there's
also
another.
You
know
list
of
issues
that
are
tagged
with
the
113
milestone,
looks
like
they're
about
30
of
those
as
well,
and
that's
it
for
the
product
updates.
Do
we
have
any
things
that
we'd
like
to
bring
up
or
discuss
forums?
What's
in
going
in
113,
112
or
anything
else
related
to
backdrop.
