From YouTube: Backdrop Weekly Dec 21st
Description
Today’s development agenda: http://bit.ly/2zdECjI
A
All
right
we
are
on
air,
it
is
Thursday
December
21st.
This
is
a
meeting
to
talk
about
our
active
development,
us
inspect
our
CMS.
First
and
foremost,
we
have
a
new
community
member
this
week,
jeredy
pronounced
name
but
I-
think
it's
Julio
mash
has
submitted
a
maintainer
application
for
dr.
kindred.
A
So
thanks
for
coming
thanks
for
joining,
there's
no
modules,
yet
in
that
request
to
join
so
I
pointed
out
that
anyone
can
join
the
control
group
as
long
as
we
get
to
people
who
are
already
made
cleaners
to
vouch
for
that
person,
I
also
post
a
link
to
all
of
our
communicators
in
there.
So
I'm
gonna
find
certain
people
you're
looking
at
list.
People
might
know
you
from
your
work
in
Drupal
or
your
work
together
on
other
projects
and
be
able
to
bring
you
in
before
you
have
code.
A
A
Also
in
the
last
week,
I
have
deployed
some
of
the
changes
for
a
new
home
page
design,
so
the
new
drop
down
menu
is
up
there
and
the
new
footer
with
several
new
design
elements
as
there
as
well.
There
were
some
elements
of
the
drop
down
menu
that
were
not
in
the
design
file,
so
a
wiki
definitely
some
direction
on
things
like
hover,
State
and
active
indicators.
So
if
anyone
has
any
inspiration
looking
at
those
and
who
knows
how
we
can
improve
it,
but
still
they
do
some
work
and.
A
Jeff
I
know
last
week,
I
had
our
names
in
the
previous
meeting
today
there
was
a
pull
request
for
the
police
to
try
back
drought,
pH
that
didn't
make
it
into
this
agenda,
but
and
still
hung
on
my
list.
I
take
a
look
at
that
on
the
forum
site
since
I
added
to
the
new
drop
down
menu
to
the
main
site
and
the
forum
site
navigation
is
having
trouble
I
just
applied,
Save
Changes
there
as
well,
and
also
put
up
the
new
footer.
A
So
those
effects
no
needs
in
the
same
game
on
both
sites,
which
is
great.
The
plum
site
was
one
additional
thing
that
we're
working
on
there
and
that
has
a
bunch
of
flag
links
on
farm
topics.
To
do
things
like
follow
specific
conversation
like
a
comment
and
spin
you're
abusive,
and
so
we
could
definitely
use
some
feedback
on
design
styles
for
those
flag
links
so
funny
when
she's
in
the
forum
and
feels
inspired
and
know
typically
to
make
those
useful
and
pretty.
We
definitely
could
use
to
be
back
in
that
area
too.
A
B
Yeah
so
like
I
always
just
need
to
start
off
talking
about
her
next
deadline,
which
is
the
feature
freeze
on
January
1st.
That
applies
to
all
new
functionality
that
we're
adding
into
backdrop.
The
product
there's
not
particularly
restricts
bug,
fixes
and
UX
changes,
though
so
January
15th
will
be
the
next
release
of
backdrop,
CMS
backdrop
1.9,
but
before
we
get
into
that
cover,
the
next
bug
fix
release,
which
is
one
point.
B
Eight
point:
one
there's
been
a
huge
batch
of
pull
requests
in
the
queue
to
fix
minor
issues
throughout
backdrop
and
I've
been
going
through
those
this
morning
and
getting
I
knocked
out
the
art
to
bcq.
Thank
you,
everybody
for
your
pro
requests
and
for
the
reviews,
I
mean
I,
love,
love,
love
having
things
in
there
to
bcq
and
I
merged
like
at
least
3/4
of
them,
because
they
truly
were
our
TVC.
So
that
is
a
huge
time
saver
and
yeah.
B
It
was
so
great,
so
it's
still
a
little
uncertain
if
1.81
will
happen
before
1.9
well,
but
at
the
very
least,
we
always
cut
a
release,
a
bug-fix
release
at
the
same
time
as
enemy
a
minor
version.
So
if
January
15th
were
to
roll
around,
we
would
cut
one
point
9.0
and
one
point
8.1
at
the
same
time,
I
think
we'll
probably
do
something
before
that,
because
continuing
our
kind
of
most
optimistic
release
patterns.
What
we
want
to
do
is
on
January,
1st
release
a
preview
release
of
1.9
and
so
I
think.
B
The
preview
release
date
would
be
a
good
time
to
also
cut
a
one
point:
8.1
release,
while
we're
doing
the
tagging
and
releasing
so
let's
see
in
the
world
at
one
point,
eight
point:
one
I,
don't
think
I'm
going
to
go
over
the
individual
issues,
but
if
you've
been
rolling
patches
or
rolling
PRS.
For
one
point,
eight
point:
one
checking
on
those
I've
been
leaving
code
reviews
on
things
that
have
been
getting
knocked
back
to
needs
work.
B
B
Okay,
so
that's
it
for
one
point,
eight
point,
one
basically
just
continuing
to
roll
on
through
bug
fixes.
Thank
you
guys
for
for
all
the
changes
in
PRS.
One
point:
nine
one
point:
nine
is
the
next
minor
release
that
will
be
coming
out:
January,
fifteenth
and
a
feature
freeze
on
January
1st,
the
big
items.
Well,
the
big
items
that
I'd
like
to
see
completed
our
the
ability
to
edit
an
existing
file
and
uploading
a
file
manually
which
are
issues
27,
96
and
2633
some
media
enhancements.
Basically,
that
would
make
managing
files
a
little
bit
easier.
B
B
Let's
see
like
to
get
the
same
for
1.9.
Sorry,
there's
an
item
added
here
to
the
agenda
issue:
29
10,
which
is
add
the
option
to
disable
Oh
Translation
links
out.
Of
course,
this
one
was
brought
up
yeah
this
one
what's
going
on
here.
We
can
definitely
make
that
happen.
There's
already
a
poll
request
for
doing
that.
So
I'll
put
my
eyeballs
on
that
and
see
if
we
can
get
that
reviewed.
B
Let's
see,
we
also
brought
up
last
week
issue
704
config
translation,
which
is
a
really
interesting
issue
and
would
be
totally
amazing.
I
think
that
we
have
time
to
start
the
implementation,
but
not
sure
we'd
have
time
to
do
the
conversion,
because
translating
stuff
that
stored
in
config
files
would
touch
a
lot
of
different
systems.
Even
if
we
get
the
base
system
completed
doing
all
the
conversions
would
be
a
real,
a
real
trick
for
1.9.
B
B
You
know
there's
no
real
reason
that
we
couldn't
do
them
over
like
bug-fix
releases,
but
I
feel
like
intentionally
planning
like
hey
we're
going
to
slowly
implement
this
feature
over
the
course
of
a
release
via
bug.
Fixes
is
not
really
I,
don't
know
it's
not
it's
not
what
we
intended
bug
fixes
to
be
made
for
it.
So
yeah.
C
B
Yeah
they,
as
always
like,
there's,
no
reason
why
we
can't
really
push
forward
on
features
that
aren't
meant
for
the
next
release,
like
it's
actually
a
really
good
thing.
If
we
start
planning
a
release
or
two
outs
and
the
next
release
actually
is
not
that
far
out,
since
you
know
worlds
start
on
it
in
earnest
on
January
15th,
so
so,
okay,
well
I
still
think
that's
a
great
thing
to
be
talking
about
on
a
regular
basis.
B
B
A
Before
the
meeting
one
of
them
was,
they
decided
to
move
rabbit,
rabbit,
pull
rabbit,
pull
the
module
forward
for
use
on
backdrop
for
good
to
create
translatable
nodes
that
can
be
placed
as
blocks.
Essentially,
they
don't
have
the
paths
that
would
be
accessed,
but
in
working
on
that
module
they
ran
into
a
couple
problems,
particularly
around
factor
of
access
tonight.
A
In
fact,
I've
not
found
so
there's
an
issue
issue
opening
it's
the
module
asking
if
it
should
be
fixed
new
module
and
then
there's
an
issue
again
score
asking
if
it
should
be
fixing
for
so
my
recommendation
is,
we
know
we
can't
fix
it
in
the
module.
I
said,
let's
fix
it
in
the
module
added
code
comment:
the
links
to
the
core
issue.
So
if
we
can't
figure
out
how
to
fix
it
in
core.
C
A
So
there
might
be
something
about
the
way
with
Emily,
like
node
modules,
each
bar
by
our
menu
title
callback
or
something
that
is
not
not
properly
affected
by
vector
I've
knocked
down
the
vector
praxis
design
denied
that
might
be
serpent
a
deeper
look
at
how
those
things
are
being
handled
him.
There's
a
contest
present.
For
some
reason.
This
comic
doesn't
seem
you
nuclear
users,
so
it
just
seems
to
be
on
the
callback
and
all
the
types
on
each
other,
so
that
might
be
worth
looking
into.
A
It
could
be
that
we
accidentally
discovered
a
core
box
which
we
could
def
it
Richards
and
then
the
other
thing
that
Olaf
recommended
talking
about
today
was
there
a
bunch
of
these
are
experience.
Issues
of
the
Belford
experience
issues
her
views
based
on
improvements
that
had
gone
into
too
late
and
I
looked
at
all
of
them
and
they're
all
pretty
good
tomorrow,
they're
going
to
be
anything
pretty
easy
to
implement.
So
if
we
have
anyone
with
a
couple
minutes
between
now
and
1.9,
we
could
go
ahead
and
get
that
feature.
C
We
got
a
couple
applications,
so
we're
proceeding
with
those
Larenz
taking
the
lead
on
one
of
them
and
one
of
them
we're
awaiting
feedback
from
the
at
the
client.
What
are
we
calling
them
partners
from
the
partner,
so
things
are
good
and
steady,
safe.
B
B
Okay,
well,
let's
call
it,
you
know:
we've
got
holiday,
travel
and
things
to
proceed
with.
Oh,
hey,
Mike!
You
came
in
right
at
the
tail
end
here
we're
about
to
end
the
meeting.
