From YouTube: Backdrop Weekly Sept 7th
Description
Today’s development agenda: http://bit.ly/2eIPGui
A
Okay,
we
aren't
on
air,
it
is
Thursday
September
7th.
This
is
a
run-through
for
weekly
development
tests
for
backdrop,
CMS
updates
for
the
PMC.
We
have
a
change
to
the
fiscal
service
and
sacrament
that
should
be
finalized.
Now,
so
everybody
hopefully
got
the
agreement
into
signing
and
sending
it
back
updates
once
they
have.
All
of
that,
we
should
be
under
their
coverage
new
contributed
projects.
This
week
we
have
a
new
module
called
splash'
Phi,
which
is
available
in
backdrop
backdrops
a
master
org.
A
Anyone
senators
in
looking
at
that
and
thankfully,
for
all
the
work
on
porting
and
philosophy
and
properly
handling
all
of
its
library
dependencies.
The
backdrop
e-way
next
up,
our
primary
focus
right
now
is
working
on
getting
backdrop
1.8
wrapped
up,
so
me
turn
it
over
to
you.
B
B
This
is
all
mixed
together
there
now,
because
1.73,
which
is
the
next
bug,
fix
release
in
1.8
or
both
going
to
be
coming
out
on
the
same
day.
So
at
this
point,
solving
any
issue
is
kind
of
they're
all
the
same
thing,
because
for
1.8
we're
no
longer
adding
new
functionality,
only
bug
fixes
are
now
allowed,
and
so
what's
worked
on
for
1.8
is
basically
the
same
thing
as
what
work
on
for
1.7.
B
B
B
I
was
some
other
changes
to
the
admin
content
page.
They
didn't
like
ordering
effects.
Rock
I
went
to
fixes
have
gone
in
since
last
week
and
those
will
all
be
in
one
paw
I
mean
hate.
There
were
some
items
that
we
kicked
out,
I
mean
really
did
things
are
on
editing
and
uploading
a
file.
We
had
some
progress
and
those
issues,
but
ultimately
we
just
weren't
ready
to
include
them
in
one
point:
Aidid
doing
it.
B
The
last
second
seemed
like
a
dangerous
idea,
so
those
have
been
moved
to
1.9
but
other
items
that
we
still
have
that
we
could
knock
out.
1.8
include
a
small
UX
improvement
to
the
way
the
module
filter
works
at
the
top
of
the
modules
page.
Sits
she
2715
that
issue.
I
think
I
actually
still
just
needs
to
review.
It's
a
minor
UX
update
with
minimal
impact
anywhere
else,
and
so
that's
still
a
candidate
for
getting
polished
up
before
releases
the
libraries
and
getting
them
up
to
date
and
one
of
them
the.
B
B
B
A
lot
of
buffle
is
tidying
up
all
the
issues
that
we
know
about
that
need
to
be
addressed,
and
so
the
1.8
milestone
queue
and
github
is
really
small.
Now
and
there's
only
like
5
items
in
there
that
we'd
like
to
complete
for
1.8,
but
where
we'll
probably
actually
shift
our
focus.
I
mean
well
good.
Those
5
issues
done
worse,
but
we'll
probably
shift
their
focus
is
to
the
1.73
milestone
on
github,
which
includes
almost
30.
B
B
But
if
we're
looking
for
more
things
to
do
to
make
1.8
like
kick-ass
release,
we
should
start
going
through
the
1.73
milestone
and
knocking
out
more
of
the
known
bugs
and
herb
people
that
we
can
do
kind
of
anytime.
So
the
one
point
when
a
queue
is
empty
or
getting
very
near
empty,
it
doesn't
mean
that
we
don't
don't
have
lots
of
things
that
we
can
potentially
work
on.
B
B
Another,
like
you
know,
release
related
tasks,
but
it
looks
like
one
point
eight
at
this
point:
it's
going
to
be
in
the
terms
of
like
the
functionality.
That's
that's
being
added
the
the
regular
rolling
of
minor
UX
features
and
refreshes
is
always
a
great
thing
to
have
in
our
product,
so
yeah
1.8,
don't
think.
We've
got
anything
really
critical
that
we
need
to
be.
B
Be
just
longer
I
think
it'll
actually
be
kind
of
a
you
know,
just
run-of-the-mill
process
for
putting
out
our
next
and
I
don't
see
anything.
That's
is
likely
because
it
me
questions
as
far
as
sites
upgrading
from
one
point.
Seven,
so
that's
that's!
All
I
got
for
an
update
since
it's
just
you
and
I
Jen.
We
had
a
little
delay
in
getting
our
meeting
started
this
week.
I
think
I'll
sit.
You
think.
I
should
call
out
attention
too
I.
Don't.
A
Think
so
I
mean
I
think
like
that
the
bug-fix
milestone
173
is
a
good
place
for
people
to
jump
in
there's
a
ton
of
the
little
tiny
things
in
there.
That
I
think
we
could
get
included
and
it
would
make
you
know
this
version
of
backdrop,
sort
of
like
them
bug
fix
polish
release,
which
might
be
kind
of
nice.
There's,
always
a
million
bucks
in
Drupal.
There's
this
equivalent
number
and
backdrop
I
think
the
more
of
those
we
can
get
kind
of
knocked
out
the
better.
So
it's
again,
it's
gonna
be
a
good
release.
Yeah.
B
All
right,
but
I,
think
yeah
yeah.
We
have
a
lot
of
opportunities
in
obviously
continuing
the
work
that
was
unfinished
these
things,
some
of
these
things
that
we
ticked
were
really
pretty
close,
and
it's
unfortunate
that
that
they're
not
going
to
be
in
1.8,
but
that's
the
nature
of
the
beast,
with
the
way
that
aren't
really
cycles
worked,
that
things
really
kind
of
need
to
be
finished
in
order
for
us
to
include
them.
So.
