From YouTube: New Visitor Outreach Initiative Announcment [HD]
Description
"Tourism is a vital industry for Baltimore County - visitor spending in 2009 totaled $1.85 billion," said County Executive Kamenetz quoting recently released data from IHS Global Insight, a leading international economic research and analysis firm. "Our revitalized conference and tourism initiative, along with the breadth and diversity of our attractions, will only increase this sector's impact."
A
B
It's
really
great:
we
have
a
wonderful
Baltimore,
County
Office
of
Tourism,
and
what
we're
finding
of
course,
is
that
we
have
a
lot
of
great
opportunities
to
see
things
in
Baltimore
County
that
we,
lifelong
County
residents,
don't
always
appreciate.
But
we
know
that
once
we
start
taking
inventory
of
these
things
and
laying
them
out
in
a
brochure
that
not
only
can
County
residents
get
a
better
sense
of
what
we
do
offer
here
in
Baltimore
County,
but
are
many
visitors
as
well.
B
So
obviously
we
have
arrived
historical
sites
in
Baltimore
County
we've
got
wonderful
parks
and
museums.
We
have
recreational
facilities,
obviously
making
great
use
of
our
waterways
and
wineries
golf
courses
and
of
course
we
have
many
visitors
who
come
to
our
hotels,
and
we
want
to
put
all
this
together
in
a
simple
package.
So
we've
created
a
great
tourism
booklet
that
will
be
placed
in
all
of
the
hotels
in
Baltimore
County,
as
well
as
different
outlets
throughout
the
county,
where
regular
residents
like
us
can
also
have
that
opportunity
to
visit.
