A
B
That
this
is
a
an
employment,
really
a
reentry
tool
for
ex-offenders.
The
most
important
thing
for
our
next
offender
is
to
get
a
job.
I
mean
that
that
enables
them
to
get
their
life
back
in
balance,
and
so
when
they're
released
from
correctional
institutions
are
from
a
detention
center.
This
this
career
center
is
actually
going
to
go
into
the
neighborhoods
and
and
really
it
have
all
the
resources
necessary
to
get
them
to
the
types
of
jobs
that
they
qualify
for
to
get
them
the
to
a
training
center.
B
If
that's
what
they
need
to
help
them
to
apply
for
jobs,
because
it's
got
its
got
the
internet,
it's
got
the
fax
machines,
it's
got
computers,
but
it
also
has
professional
staff
who
are
going
to
be
in
the
neighborhoods
working
with
ex
offenders
in
the
in
their
very
neighborhood.
Is
it
really
an
outreach
to
them?
It
is,
is
a
really
important
tool
and
we're
very,
very
grateful
to
both
congressman
Ruppersberger
and
Congressman
Cummings,
who
interceded,
who
actually
obtained
the
federal
funding,
which
enabled
us
to
to
acquire
this
mobile
career
center.
C
This
is
a
this
mobile
unit
is
a
very
important
unit
to
help
people
who
are
in
prison
and
those
are
coming
out
of
prison
to
get
jobs
every
day.
I
have
probably
anywhere
from
four
to
ten
people
asking
me
about
jobs,
and
these
are,
and
many
of
them
have
been
in
prison
and
they
just
can't
find
anything,
and
so
now
I
have
another
resource.
C
It
gives
us
another
our
facility
whereby,
if
we
have
an
emergency,
such
as
when
we
had
to
distribute
the
h1n1
flu
shots
or
if
some
catastrophe
came
along,
will
we
have
another
facility
whereby
we
can
help
people
through
those
kinds
of
disasters,
and
so
it
just
says
it's
just
like
four
inmates.
It's
also
for
those
kinds
of
situations,
and
all
of
that
is
very
very
important
and
I
I
really
applaud
Jim
Smith
and
the
county
for
doing
this.
