A
B
Thank
you
Jim,
and
thank
you
for
the
great
job
that
you
do
and
that
all
our
library
staff
does
I
mean.
We've
got
one
of
the
best
library
system
in
the
United
States
of
America
and
a
large
measure
due
to
the
leadership
that
we
have
in
a
great
staff
work
that
we
have
and
the
volunteers
that
we
have
now
I
frequently
say:
schools
are
the
heart
of
a
community,
but
libraries
are
its
soul
and
there
are
a
lot
of
believers
in
that
right
here
in
the
perry
hall
and
greater
perry
hall
community.
B
But
now
what
we'll
be
able
to
do
at
this
library
which,
by
the
way,
will
be
a
green
LEED
certified
building
which
again
is
moving
up
the
ladder
and
also
moving
up
to
today's
technology?
In
today's
commitment
to
the
environment,
a
children's
area
of
400
feet
is
now
I
think
3,200
feet
square
feet.
You
have
instead
of
seven
seating
for
17.
You
have
seating
for
152.
B
Instead
of
having
no
group
study
rooms,
there
will
be
two
group
study
rooms,
there'll
be
quiet,
room
it'll,
be
an
area
for
teens.
It
will
be
a
DA,
accessible
there'll,
be
a
drive-in
window
to
facilitate
the
you
know,
return
of
items
that
have
been
circulated,
I
mean
it
and
instead
of
60,000
items
in
your
library,
there'll
be
125
thousand
items
in
the
library
I'd
like
now
that
to
yell
the
podium
to
councilman
Vince
gardena,
one
of
those
whose
constituents
will
truly
truly
enjoy
this
facility.
Vince.
C
Thank
you.
It's
a
library,
that's
really
going
to
provide
a
service,
that's
really
needed,
and
my
wife
really
appreciates
it
as
well.
She
visits
at
least
10,000
times
a
year,
so
we
really
want
to
you
know
we're
really
pleased
that
this
is
opening
up.
I,
think
it's
going
to
be
a
great
amenity,
I'm
sure.
D
E
D
Know
I
want
to
give
every
by
a
little
history
lesson
about
this
whole
place
here.
This
originally
was
the
butt
farm.
It
was
worked
by
budding
for
years,
along
with
his
mother
and
father
and
other
relatives.
There
right
out
of
room
for
thread
was
bud
packing
house
and
after
they
were
retired
and
done
farming
the
ground
transfer
to
whenever
in
the
Archdiocese
of
Baltimore
haddock.
Now
we're.
E
We
want
to
fight
all
of
you
for
participating
in
the
library.
I
want
to
thank
the
eight
or
nine
participants
that
have
to
start
that
library
in
1963
we
started
without
a
diamond
with
within
12
months.
The
nine
of
us
got
together
with
the
county
and
a
builder,
and
we
had
a
library
that
has
served
this
community
all
those
years.
