From YouTube: NFL Insider Radio Host Jason LaCanfora Joins Baltimore County's "Healing Starts Here" Campaign
Description
NFL Insider Radio Host Jason LaCanfora recounts how the sports industry lead by example in their response to COVID, and shares his experiences with the virus and how he believes taking the vaccine will help our future.
A
Obviously,
anybody
who's
in
a
position
to
influence
who
has
a
position
of
prominence
in
our
community
who
understands
the
magnitude
of
this.
It's
awesome
to
see
them
on
board.
A
A
It
just
makes
so
much
sense
for
everybody's
individual
health,
for
our
collective
well-being
and
for
our
ability
to
get
back
to
normal,
which
is
all
we've
kind
of
been
talking
about.
Since
last
february
and
march,
when
this
really
exploded
and
me
as
someone
who
has
been
involved
in
sports,
their
entire
lives
both
at
the
youth
level,
amateur
level,
professional
level
as
a
spectator
as
a
guy
coaching,
his
baseball
little
league
team-
you
know
coaching
third
base,
just
can't
wait
to
see
kids
be
able
to
be
out
on
fields
in
full
force.
A
This
is
a
huge
way
for
us
to
get
to
that
point
when
we
get
the
levels
of
of
vaccination
in
the
general
population
to
be
high
enough,
that
it's
safe
enough
for
us
to
gather
in
large
groups
and
go
to
concerts
and
go
to
games
and
have
our
kids
lead
normal
lives
and
have
schools
back
fully
open.
There's
so
many
reasons.
I
can't
think
of
any
reasons
not
to
frankly
that
are
based
in
truth
fact,
science.
A
A
We
stayed
safe
because
our
leagues
and
our
union
spent
so
much
money
and
put
so
much
effort
into
coming
up
with
these
health
and
safety
protocols
that
work
so
well
that
in
the
case
of
the
nfl,
you
know
the
cdc
and
the
who
and
these
other
organizations
are
adopting
some
of
their
definitions
and
practices
and
they've
improved
their
best
practices
because
of
how
well
these
individual
leagues
and
teams
have
handled
it
within
their
populations.
A
So
I
think
many
of
them
feel
blessed
that
they
were
in
these
scenarios
where
they
could
go
about
their
their
lives,
not
in
a
normal
basis,
but
still
be
able
to
earn
paychecks
doing
what
they
love
and
doing
it
in
a
safe
environment.
So
I
I
think,
that's
what
resonates
above
all
and-
and
they
want
to
see
that
in
the
general
community,
they
want
to
see
that
for
their
parents
where
they
live
and
grandparents.
A
But
I
think
they
all
understood
that
in
the
grand
scheme
of
things
they
were
so
well
off,
because
the
people
involved
we're
so
invested
in
science,
in
fact,
in
truth
and
in
finding
ways
to
mitigate
the
disease.
Until
we
get
to
a
point
where
vaccines
have
reached
a
level
by
which
it's
safe
to
go
about
your
daily
lives
and
not
have
to
worry
about
social
distancing
or
mask.
Although
who
knows
we
may
be,
that
may
be
a
part
of
our
lives
for
a
while
to
come,
and
if
so,
I'm
all
for
that
as
well.
A
Everyone's
live
everyone's
workplace
everyone's
daily
activities,
how
we
communicate
with
each
other,
how
we
interact
with
one
another
it
was,
it
was
all
effective.
This
was
all
encompassing
yeah
for
me
personally,
it's
we
did
10
shows
at
105.7
in
studio
and
we
haven't
been
back
since
and
I'm
not
sure
when
we
will,
but
you
adapt
and
I
go
up
to
the
attic
and
where
I
am
now
and
I
work
from
here.
A
You
know
that
we
upgraded
the
studio,
I
say:
wait:
cbs
did
I
just
watch
them,
do
it,
but
they
upgraded
the
little
setup
I
have
in
my
basement.
So
I
was
able
to
do
the
nfl
today
and
and
more
shows
than
I
would
normally
do
from
my
home
and
yeah.
I
wasn't
going
up
to
new
york.
I
haven't
been
in
studio
since
the
end
of
the
the
previous
football
season.
I
did
get
to
see
everybody
at
the
super
bowl,
which
was
great,
but
even
then
we
didn't
really
leave
our
rooms.
A
You
know
we
ate
in
our
rooms.
We
still
had
our
meetings
during
zoom.
We
were
constantly
tested
to
make
sure
that
everybody
was
safe
when
we
did
gather
and
even
when
we
did
gather,
we
stayed
spread
out
in
the
green
room
in
production
rooms
on
set
so
again,
and
that's
hats
off
to
cbs,
who
worked
diligently
with
state
officials
across
the
board
to
make
sure
that
we
did
have
people
traveling
when
we
did
have
people
congregating
to
any
degree
that
it
was
done
in
the
safest
manner
possible.
A
I
cannot
wait
to
get
the
vaccine
for
my
health
for
the
health
of
my
loved
ones,
for
the
health
of
my
friends,
for
the
baltimore
county
and
for
businesses
in
baltimore
county
and
for
me
to
be
one
more
person
who
knows
that
he's
safe,
who
can
be
a
part
of
what
we
hope
is
a
continually
safer
and
safer
community,
so
that
the
economy
and
our
education
and
our
infrastructure
and
our
ability
to
communicate
our
freedom
so
that
we
get
all
these
things
back
because
across
the
board,
it's
in
the
best
interest
of
everyone.
A
I
cannot
think
of
a
single
reason.
I
cannot
comprehend,
frankly,
a
single
reason
why
anyone
would
not
want
to
get
vaccinated
as
soon
as
possible
within
their
cohort
understanding
that
those
most
vulnerable,
those
who
are
older,
those
who
are
susceptible
to
this
thing,
should
absolutely
positively
obviously
get
it
first.
