proposed
planned
unit
development

accordance
with
county
law.

application
for
review

approval

a
400.6
Acre
Site
within
the
erdel
zoned
RC8,
located
east
of
Earls
Road
South
of
Ebenezer
Road
and
West,
and
north
of
the
Amtrak
train
tracks
in
the
Middle
River
area
of
Baltimore
County
in
the
sixth
councilmanic
district
district
to
be
developed
as
a
general
pod.
The
subject
site
is
commonly
known
as
LaFarge
Quarry.

applicant
proposes
to
redevelop
a
portion
of
the
Pud
area
with
an
industrial
Office
Park
with
industrial
office
and
Logistics
space
containing
a
total
of
2.82
million
square
feet
gross
floor
area
with
Associated
infrastructure.
The
applicant
proposes
to
provide
a
capital
Improvement
benefit
in
the
form
of
a
221,
acre
distribution,
dedication
of
land
and
fee
to
Baltimore
County
for
the
public
purposes.
At
the
discretion
of
the
county.
The
County
Council
acknowledges
that
14.4
of
the
221
acres
to
be
dedicated
are
located
outside
of
the
ertle
and
are
not
within
the
limits
of
the
Pud
area.
A

County
Council
intends
for
a
contiguous
40-acre
portion
of
the
total
land
area
of
dedication
to
be
utilized
for
the
construction
of
a
vocational
school.
The
County
Council
finds
that
the
density
and
use
is
permitted
should
be
amended
and
modified
to
allow
the
described
industrial
office
and
Logistics
space
with
Associated
infrastructure
in
accordance
with
section
324-242
of
the
county
code.
